- 0:00Speaker 1: So here we go. So let's pray. Father, in the
- 0:03Speaker 1: name of Jesus, I thank you so much for this opportunity.
- 0:06Speaker 1: I pray, Lord God, that this continues to go and
- 0:08Speaker 1: move forward smoothly according to your will and purpose for
- 0:11Speaker 1: us to get into your word, dive into your word,
- 0:14Speaker 1: understand your word, apply your word in our daily lives.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Lord Jesus, you warned us, you warned your disciples that
- 0:21Speaker 1: in this world, they will hate us because they hated
- 0:24Speaker 1: you first. but we are here showing love, spreading love.
- 0:27Speaker 1: The gospel message is a message of redemption and love.
- 0:30Speaker 1: And we thank you, Lord God, that you rescued us,
- 0:33Speaker 1: saved us, redeemed us, restored us because of your word,
- 0:36Speaker 1: because of your love, because of your sacrifice, and because
- 0:39Speaker 1: of your complete mission that you completed on the cross
- 0:43Speaker 1: of Calvary. I pray I had your protection right now
- 0:46Speaker 1: over my family right now in the powerful name of Jesus.
- 0:49Speaker 1: I pray, Lord God, that you will encourage us, inspire us, um,
- 0:53Speaker 1: Continue to show us who we are in you so
- 0:55Speaker 1: that way we can grow in our faith and knowledge
- 0:58Speaker 1: of who you are. I pray that over myself, my wife,
- 1:00Speaker 1: my family, our children, our grandchildren, our whole entire bloodline
- 1:05Speaker 1: from the very youngest family member to the very oldest
- 1:07Speaker 1: family member and every single person in between. I pray
- 1:10Speaker 1: that for every single person listening and watching right now,
- 1:13Speaker 1: their families as well, their whole entire bloodline, that the
- 1:16Speaker 1: blood of Christ will cleanse us all from unrighteousness and wickedness,
- 1:20Speaker 1: and that we will move forward in victory, knowing that
- 1:22Speaker 1: you are able to do that in a creative way
- 1:25Speaker 1: for every single individual person right now, in a powerful, matchless,
- 1:30Speaker 1: name above every name, in the name of Jesus Christ,
- 1:32Speaker 1: the Lord, the Mashiach, the anointed one of God, in
- 1:36Speaker 1: Jesus' holy name, we pray this by faith, and if
- 1:38Speaker 1: you agree with that prayer, you just say amen to
- 1:40Speaker 1: the amen, so let's go forward, let's get right into
- 1:42Speaker 1: the word, I lost some time trying to fix the
- 1:47Speaker 1: the issue that we were having, and hopefully it's fixed.
- 1:50Speaker 1: So let's go for it. John chapter 15, verses 18
- 1:55Speaker 1: and 19. Scripture says, Jesus says, actually, if the world
- 2:00Speaker 1: hates you, here it is, understand that it, the world,
- 2:06Speaker 1: hated me first. There's a lot of haters, right? If
- 2:11Speaker 1: you belonged to the world, it would love you as
- 2:15Speaker 1: its own. Instead, you do not belong to the world.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Jesus is talking to his disciples. But I have chosen
- 2:25Speaker 1: you out of the world. That is why the world
- 2:30Speaker 1: hates you. Jesus being plain with us. He says, yeah,
- 2:34Speaker 1: you're going to get a lot of hate. And it's
- 2:37Speaker 1: not really your dealing. It's the dealings that they have
- 2:41Speaker 1: with him. Jesus said, they hated me first. So now
- 2:44Speaker 1: that you're my disciples, they're going to hate you too.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Get that through. Amen. There's people right now going around saying,
- 2:53Speaker 1: I'm a Christian, I'm a Christian, but they're haters and
- 2:56Speaker 1: they're following the patterns of the world. They want the love.
- 2:59Speaker 1: They want the validation of the world. That's when you
- 3:03Speaker 1: can see who's who and what's what. People going around
- 3:07Speaker 1: talking about their brother and sister in Christ, hating on
- 3:10Speaker 1: their brother and sister in Christ, and they're supposed to
- 3:12Speaker 1: be Christ followers. Meanwhile, they're going towards the world and
- 3:18Speaker 1: grabbing things from the world to hurl back at God's disciples.
- 3:22Speaker 1: So you could plainly see who's the wolf in sheep's clothing.
- 3:26Speaker 1: You could see who's who and what's what. When people really,
- 3:31Speaker 1: they talk out of their own mouth, they're telling on themselves.
- 3:35Speaker 1: So have you ever wondered why some people don't like you?
- 3:41Speaker 1: You know, I used to wonder a lot. I still
- 3:43Speaker 1: wonder a lot. Why people don't like me? I don't
- 3:46Speaker 1: even I don't even know half of these people. Or
- 3:49Speaker 1: I don't even, you know, unfortunately, I don't even think
- 3:52Speaker 1: about some of these people that, you know, come up
- 3:55Speaker 1: and do videos about me and this, that, and the third.
- 3:58Speaker 1: Don't even think about them like that. But if you wondered,
- 4:03Speaker 1: just like I wonder, even when you haven't done anything
- 4:07Speaker 1: wrong to these people, they just have this hatred. Right?
- 4:12Speaker 1: Sometimes it's not about who we are personally. Sometimes it's
- 4:16Speaker 1: not about who I am personally. Sometimes it's not about
- 4:19Speaker 1: who you are personally. It's about what we stand for.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Who do you stand for? What do you stand for?
- 4:27Speaker 1: That's where really the hatred is directed. But since we
- 4:31Speaker 1: have a name and address and we have platforms and
- 4:35Speaker 1: ministries and churches and all that, they get a name
- 4:40Speaker 1: directed towards your direction, your address, your ministry, your church
- 4:44Speaker 1: or whatever. So that way they could try to make
- 4:46Speaker 1: a case in front of, I don't know who. The world, though,
- 4:52Speaker 1: will gravitate to that and be like, yeah, that's right.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Not understanding that these people who are insulting God's disciples
- 5:01Speaker 1: are actually telling the world, I hate God's disciples and
- 5:05Speaker 1: I love the world. That's why the world will kind
- 5:08Speaker 1: of like join with these so-called believers that are slandering, backbiting, gossiping, lying, right?
- 5:16Speaker 1: The world would be like, yeah, I'm going to join
- 5:18Speaker 1: with you. So that way the world loves these so-called disciples,
- 5:23Speaker 1: loves these so-called Christians because they hate Jesus. Get what
- 5:28Speaker 1: I'm saying? And Jesus warned us about that. So Jesus
- 5:31Speaker 1: warned us that the world will hate them because they
- 5:35Speaker 1: no longer belonged to the world, right? Catch that. We
- 5:40Speaker 1: are in the world, but we are not of the world.
- 5:43Speaker 1: So we move differently. And people don't like that. So
- 5:47Speaker 1: how come you're not moving like us? How come you're
- 5:49Speaker 1: not doing X, Y, Z like us? So they'll hate
- 5:53Speaker 1: on you. They'll make fun of you. There's peer pressure. Amen.
- 5:57Speaker 1: In schools, especially with the young kids and the young
- 5:59Speaker 1: adults and the young teens, it's peer pressure for teens
- 6:03Speaker 1: that are in school that want to stand for Christ,
- 6:07Speaker 1: that are standing for Christ, standing on business, standing on
- 6:09Speaker 1: kingdom business. And now their peers are like, ah, you
- 6:12Speaker 1: don't do this and you don't dress this way. You
- 6:14Speaker 1: don't look a certain way. And why don't you hang
- 6:16Speaker 1: out with us? How come you don't be with the
- 6:18Speaker 1: boys or with the girls? And it's a lot of pressure.
- 6:22Speaker 1: It's called hatred. They hate who you and I stand for.
- 6:28Speaker 1: So when you choose to follow Christ, your values, your priorities,
- 6:33Speaker 1: and lifestyle begins to change. And that change is evident.
- 6:39Speaker 1: People could plainly see, this person changed. But because They're
- 6:43Speaker 1: not changing or they don't understand how to change or
- 6:46Speaker 1: they don't understand Jesus. They don't understand the scriptures. They
- 6:49Speaker 1: don't understand who God is as the father. They don't
- 6:52Speaker 1: know who Holy Spirit is. They're going to have curiosity.
- 6:55Speaker 1: And sometimes that curiosity, instead of asking a disciple of
- 7:00Speaker 1: the Lord, hey, you know, how do you get into
- 7:02Speaker 1: a relationship with God? Instead of that, they'll just go
- 7:05Speaker 1: straight to the hate part, gather with the other bunch
- 7:08Speaker 1: of haters, right? And they'll continue hating. To show the
- 7:11Speaker 1: love of the world, not the love of God. So
- 7:14Speaker 1: therefore they become haters of God's people. So that's why
- 7:19Speaker 1: the world celebrates. The world celebrates things that go against
- 7:23Speaker 1: God's word. Haven't you noticed? Oh, that's God's word. I literally,
- 7:28Speaker 1: I don't know why it came across my feed. I
- 7:36Speaker 1: didn't get into it because it rubbed me wrong right away.
- 7:39Speaker 1: There's a preacher talking head on the thing. He was
- 7:41Speaker 1: at an event. I don't know who he was. It
- 7:43Speaker 1: just literally came up on my feed right before I
- 7:45Speaker 1: did this. I guess because it's capturing my notes. It's
- 7:49Speaker 1: capturing what I was about to do this morning. So
- 7:52Speaker 1: it came up on my feed. And he says, you know,
- 7:56Speaker 1: we love to say that homosexuality is an abomination. But,
- 8:02Speaker 1: and then I just stopped it. Because I said, why
- 8:05Speaker 1: would we love to call something an abomination? Instead of
- 8:09Speaker 1: saying the word says that this is an abomination. See
- 8:14Speaker 1: how tricky that is? So this person seemed like he
- 8:18Speaker 1: wanted to validate something or he wanted to correct the
- 8:22Speaker 1: word or he wanted to correct disciples of the Lord
- 8:25Speaker 1: or he wanted to correct preachers. I didn't look into it,
- 8:29Speaker 1: but that's the vibe I got right away from that
- 8:30Speaker 1: first statement. So I'm not going to mention names or
- 8:33Speaker 1: anything like that. I'll look at it later if I
- 8:35Speaker 1: feel like it because... It already rubbed me wrong. So
- 8:38Speaker 1: the world may celebrate things that go against the word.
- 8:41Speaker 1: And when you're standing for truth, right, they got to
- 8:45Speaker 1: try their best to make the truth unpopular because the
- 8:48Speaker 1: truth hurts sometimes. And to me, it hurts in a
- 8:51Speaker 1: good way. It really stretches our selves out to sacrifice,
- 8:57Speaker 1: to love, to pray for our enemies, right, and stuff
- 8:59Speaker 1: like that. So it causes us to become more like
- 9:02Speaker 1: Christ because Christ is the truth. When you choose to
- 9:06Speaker 1: follow Christ, things change. But don't allow the rejection of
- 9:11Speaker 1: the people to make you abandon your relationship with Jesus.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Because people are peer pressure so rough that they start saying,
- 9:23Speaker 1: you know what? This is too hard. I can't do
- 9:25Speaker 1: this no more. Although Jesus warned us that people are
- 9:28Speaker 1: going to hate us because they hated him first. This
- 9:31Speaker 1: is too hard. So they kind of forfeit. their stance,
- 9:35Speaker 1: forfeit their belief, and they go to the crowd, to
- 9:37Speaker 1: the herd. It's called herd mentality. They get with everybody
- 9:40Speaker 1: else because it's easier over there. But the outcome of
- 9:44Speaker 1: that easiness over there and the broad way that leads
- 9:47Speaker 1: to what? Destruction. The consequences are going to be too much.
- 9:52Speaker 1: It's not worth it. Trust me. So you weren't called.
- 9:58Speaker 1: We weren't called. You weren't called i wasn't called to
- 10:01Speaker 1: fit into this world we were called actually to change
- 10:05Speaker 1: represent christ to make changes in the world how about
- 10:10Speaker 1: that we're christ representatives like truthfully this is not a
- 10:14Speaker 1: popular message i'll tell you that till i'm blue in
- 10:16Speaker 1: the face and i'm not trying to be popular Because
- 10:19Speaker 1: I already know this stance right here, social media streets
- 10:24Speaker 1: in the world, in your neighborhood, in your community, unless
- 10:29Speaker 1: you're in some kind of community that the majority are
- 10:32Speaker 1: Christ followers. But other than that kind of community, other
- 10:36Speaker 1: than that type of like social media group or anything
- 10:38Speaker 1: like that, everything outside the majority, right? They don't go
- 10:44Speaker 1: by the scriptures. Amen. Amen. even so-called Christians, that they say,
- 10:48Speaker 1: I'm a Christian, they're not even following the scriptures, right?
- 10:53Speaker 1: And it's plain to see, but it's kind of like
- 10:57Speaker 1: confusing to the world because the world says, isn't that person,
- 11:01Speaker 1: aren't those people supposed to be united? And the world
- 11:03Speaker 1: knows that, right? So shame on us when we come
- 11:07Speaker 1: with disunity, right? And just throwing shots at each other
- 11:12Speaker 1: on the internet and all the other stuff. Shame on us.
- 11:15Speaker 1: That's why I choose to bow out of the situation
- 11:18Speaker 1: i'll say what i have to say once get out
- 11:20Speaker 1: of there amen it's not going to be worth it
- 11:23Speaker 1: because now the enemy is going to try to use
- 11:25Speaker 1: our disagreement our public disagreement to cause others to hate
- 11:30Speaker 1: on the gospel to hate on the lord jesus christ
- 11:33Speaker 1: to point fingers at the kingdom of god to show
- 11:37Speaker 1: off the disunity right it's not worth it so stop
- 11:42Speaker 1: seeking the world's approval I've been telling this a lot
- 11:46Speaker 1: to my daughter. Amen. Stop seeking the world's approval and
- 11:50Speaker 1: start living for God's purpose. It'll do you good. It'll
- 11:55Speaker 1: do you right. Trust me. The only one who can
- 11:59Speaker 1: satisfy your every desire is the Lord Jesus Christ. And
- 12:02Speaker 1: that might sound weird to a lot of people because
- 12:04Speaker 1: our desires are there for a reason. Amen. We desire
- 12:08Speaker 1: things intimately. We desire things relationally. We desire things to
- 12:14Speaker 1: have financial gain and success. Those desires, I believe, are
- 12:18Speaker 1: placed by God. But when they're out of control, desires, amen,
- 12:24Speaker 1: then we start to take those desires and distort them
- 12:27Speaker 1: and possibly destroy things that God meant to build up
- 12:31Speaker 1: in our lives. And we sometimes destroy what God is
- 12:35Speaker 1: trying to build. Think about it. That's how loving God is,
- 12:39Speaker 1: that he won't force, excuse me, He won't force anything
- 12:44Speaker 1: on us, but he loves us so much that he
- 12:49Speaker 1: will direct us in the right way, but won't force
- 12:51Speaker 1: us to go that way, if that makes any sense.
- 12:54Speaker 1: He's not pushing us into the path of righteousness, not
- 12:57Speaker 1: pushing us to stay on the path of righteousness. He's
- 13:02Speaker 1: leading us by way of his Holy Spirit on the
- 13:05Speaker 1: path of righteousness. Stop seeking approval from people who don't
- 13:10Speaker 1: understand your faith. And we have to be understanding of that.
- 13:14Speaker 1: I've learned to be so graceful when I hear people
- 13:18Speaker 1: misquote the scripture, misunderstand what the gospel is all about,
- 13:24Speaker 1: accuse the brethren. You got to show grace because these
- 13:27Speaker 1: people are out of line. They don't understand. And the
- 13:31Speaker 1: ones that are saying, oh, I'm a Christian and I'm
- 13:34Speaker 1: this and I'm a pastor and they really aren't, you
- 13:37Speaker 1: can just tell by their fruit. So we have to sometimes...
- 13:41Speaker 1: Try to correct. If they don't receive the correction through
- 13:44Speaker 1: the scripture, not by what I'm saying, not by what
- 13:47Speaker 1: you're saying, but through the scripture, if they don't take correction,
- 13:51Speaker 1: the Bible literally says that they're fools, not willing to
- 13:54Speaker 1: be corrected by the word of God, not by an authority,
- 13:58Speaker 1: so-called authority that we have over anybody, but the scripture
- 14:03Speaker 1: has authority over all believers. It's the word of God
- 14:08Speaker 1: that corrects. Stand firm in God's truth. But not only
- 14:13Speaker 1: stand firm in his truth, stand firm in his truth
- 14:16Speaker 1: in love or with love, right? Because truth is truth.
- 14:20Speaker 1: It'll stand regardless who says it's not true. It'll still stand.
- 14:25Speaker 1: God's word will still stand regardless what professor, what person
- 14:29Speaker 1: with a PhD, what other religious people say. Oh, that's
- 14:34Speaker 1: not true. That's not true. They can say that all
- 14:35Speaker 1: they want. But the truth of God stands in all
- 14:38Speaker 1: generations for all time, forever, forever, forever. But make sure
- 14:42Speaker 1: you don't only speak the truth. Make sure you speak
- 14:45Speaker 1: the truth with love. Because it's the love part, which
- 14:48Speaker 1: God is love, is the kindness of God that leads
- 14:51Speaker 1: men to repent. The Bible says, not the arguing, not
- 14:55Speaker 1: the apologetic part, but the truth with love part. The
- 14:59Speaker 1: love part is what leads people to repentance. Because you're
- 15:02Speaker 1: hearing people's stories. You're listening more than you're speaking, and
- 15:06Speaker 1: you're allowing Holy Spirit to move in the situation. Remember
- 15:11Speaker 1: that your identity, very important, your identity is found in
- 15:16Speaker 1: Jesus Christ. Your identity is not found when the world
- 15:20Speaker 1: accepts you. It's a big thing about, oh, if you
- 15:24Speaker 1: really love me, you will accept me for who I am. No,
- 15:27Speaker 1: if I really love you, I'll tell you the truth
- 15:30Speaker 1: about who God identifies you as And then if you
- 15:33Speaker 1: don't accept the identity that God has for you, then
- 15:36Speaker 1: I'm just telling you the truth. I'm not going to
- 15:37Speaker 1: accept that type of behavior, that type of sin, that
- 15:41Speaker 1: type of lifestyle. People ask, well, what about if you're
- 15:44Speaker 1: a kid or what about if you're a family member?
- 15:46Speaker 1: What about this? What about all these whatabouts, right? I
- 15:49Speaker 1: started living in a certain way. Would you still love them? Absolutely.
- 15:54Speaker 1: But I don't have to accept behavior that is an
- 15:57Speaker 1: abomination to God, that doesn't please God, that is a, disrespectful.
- 16:03Speaker 1: I don't have to accept that to prove my love
- 16:06Speaker 1: for someone. I have to speak the truth with love. Amen?
- 16:10Speaker 1: And at that point, just like when Jesus showed up
- 16:13Speaker 1: in my life, when Jesus showed up in your life,
- 16:15Speaker 1: we could have said no. Right? Sometimes people just say no. No,
- 16:19Speaker 1: I'm not doing that. You could go ahead with your
- 16:21Speaker 1: church stuff. I love it when people call me. I
- 16:25Speaker 1: haven't heard from them for years. Are you still doing
- 16:27Speaker 1: that church thing? Because they don't understand. They think it's
- 16:31Speaker 1: a I'm involved in some kind of whatever cult or
- 16:35Speaker 1: a group or some kind of club that talks about Christ.
- 16:40Speaker 1: And I'll go, so you're talking about, am I still
- 16:42Speaker 1: a Christian? Oh yeah, is that what you, yeah, I'm
- 16:46Speaker 1: still a Christian. I'm born again, saved, amen. And I'll
- 16:50Speaker 1: tell the person or tell the people that's asking, you know,
- 16:53Speaker 1: have you gone to church? Where are you in your belief?
- 16:57Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying? Because you start to like,
- 16:59Speaker 1: When someone starts off with a statement like, are you
- 17:01Speaker 1: still doing that thing or that church thing? You kind
- 17:05Speaker 1: of realize that they don't understand the gospel message. They
- 17:09Speaker 1: don't understand whose church we're a part of. They don't
- 17:13Speaker 1: understand the body of Christ. So we have to show grace. Amen.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Don't get into defensive mode or don't get angry. If
- 17:23Speaker 1: the world hates us, understand that the world hated Jesus first. right?
- 17:30Speaker 1: If we belonged to the world, because remember, right? If
- 17:33Speaker 1: you're born again, you already know what I'm talking about
- 17:35Speaker 1: when I say this. When you was about that life
- 17:38Speaker 1: in the world, you were loved, man. You were part
- 17:41Speaker 1: of the group. You were in. It was all love.
- 17:45Speaker 1: But when God called you and me out of the world,
- 17:49Speaker 1: because we no longer belong to the world, he called
- 17:51Speaker 1: us out, that's when people started really showing hate. It's crazy, right?
- 17:57Speaker 1: Not all, Thank God in my situation, not all my
- 18:00Speaker 1: boys from back in the day are showing hate. Some
- 18:04Speaker 1: are indirectly. I don't know why. I still don't know why.
- 18:09Speaker 1: Nobody has come up to my face and said, I
- 18:11Speaker 1: don't like you because of X, Y, Z. But indirects, right, are,
- 18:17Speaker 1: you know, makes me curious. I don't remember doing X, Y, Z.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Even people who say they're born-again Christians, that they're my brothers.
- 18:26Speaker 1: They were my brothers before. And then when you make
- 18:28Speaker 1: a comment on your post on social media that go
- 18:31Speaker 1: against their way of thinking, now we, oh, we always
- 18:34Speaker 1: had issues, right? You start hearing things like, whoa, I
- 18:37Speaker 1: never knew, right? So it's crazy. So stand firm in
- 18:42Speaker 1: God's truth with love. Remember your identities in Christ and
- 18:46Speaker 1: stop seeking approval from people who don't understand our faith, right?
- 18:52Speaker 1: They're not going to approve. Oh, I don't understand your faith.
- 18:55Speaker 1: I don't believe in Jesus, but I approve you. Like
- 18:57Speaker 1: if we need somebody outside of the kingdom's approval, like
- 19:01Speaker 1: why would you, why would you strive to seek the
- 19:05Speaker 1: world's approval? Jesus said, that's why the world loves you
- 19:12Speaker 1: when you belong to the world. But if the world
- 19:14Speaker 1: hates you, you're on the path because they hated Jesus first, right?
- 19:21Speaker 1: So haters love the world. So I wrote a declaration
- 19:25Speaker 1: and I posted it on my social media platforms. And
- 19:29Speaker 1: the declaration is, I think it's a good one because
- 19:33Speaker 1: we need to speak this out of our mouths. Here's
- 19:35Speaker 1: the declaration. You can repeat it after me. You can
- 19:38Speaker 1: declare this. I don't belong to the world. I belong
- 19:44Speaker 1: to Jesus Christ. I will stand in truth. walk in love,
- 19:52Speaker 1: and live for God's glory. That's a declaration that you
- 19:56Speaker 1: can stand on. You can speak it out. Amen. And
- 19:59Speaker 1: watch God show up in that. So, unfortunately or fortunately,
- 20:05Speaker 1: people are going to hate. Let them hate. Have issues
- 20:08Speaker 1: with Jesus, really. At the end of the day, they
- 20:11Speaker 1: have issues with God really more than they have issues
- 20:14Speaker 1: with us. We're just shining the light of the blazing
- 20:18Speaker 1: light of Christ that's shining through us. And we're just
- 20:21Speaker 1: doing kingdom business, being kind, doing kingdom business, and loving people.
- 20:26Speaker 1: So I'm out of time, but listen, thank you so
- 20:28Speaker 1: much for your patience for earlier for the audio issues.
- 20:32Speaker 1: But we're here, but I'm out of time. So God
- 20:34Speaker 1: bless you all. God keep you all. Remember always, remember this.
- 20:41Speaker 1: Despite all the hate, God is still good. Peace.
