- 0:30gently without through your mouth. Again, take another deep breath
- 0:40in through your nose and slowly and gently batheout through
- 0:47your mouth. One last time, deep breath in and slowly
- 0:58and gently breathe out through your mouth, and just feel
- 1:05the gentle rhythm of your breath. Feel a steady beat
- 1:10of your heart. Take a moment to listen to your heartbeat.
- 1:18Can you hear it? Feel a gentle rise and fall
- 1:24of your chest as it moves in time with your heart?
- 1:29Can you feel it? With each beat of your heart,
- 1:37you feel more and more relaxed, more and more calm,
- 1:42more and more peaceful, more and more peaceful. And every
- 1:51time you breathe in, you're breathing in deep relaxation. It's
- 1:58making you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, and you
- 2:02feel very comfortable and very in peace with yourself. Just
- 2:08let your body relax just a little bit more with
- 2:11each breath. Now, imagine that you are in your very
- 2:20own garden and you find yourself standing in front of
- 2:26the most perfect old wooden bench. It looks very comfortable,
- 2:34It has lovely soft cushions on it too. It even
- 2:37has a nice, soft and cozy, velvety blanket draped over
- 2:43the back of it. You realize that you don't have
- 2:48any shoes on, and the grass is soft and warm
- 2:51under your bare feet. The sun is shining and it
- 2:57feels warm and comforting without being too hot, And there
- 3:02is a soft, sweet, gentle breeze wafting. The beautiful scent
- 3:07of the flowers coming towards you smells amazing. You can
- 3:15recognize the scent of some of the flowers and shrubs,
- 3:20and they are all mingling together to create the most
- 3:23beautiful aroma. And you breathe it in deeply, fill up
- 3:30your lungs, feeling so peaceful and so calm. You can
- 3:37hear the birds singing in the trees and the bushes nearby,
- 3:43and you can hear the light rustle of the wind
- 3:45blowing gently in the trees. You can hear it. You
- 3:51can even hear a trickle of water, and you realize
- 3:57there is a shallow river running through your gol garden
- 4:00as well. How special is that the colors everywhere are beautiful,
- 4:11the rich greens of the grass and the plants, the
- 4:15blue of the sky, the amazing colors from all of
- 4:19the flowers and the birds is just beautiful and it
- 4:24makes you smile with happiness. And if you stay quiet
- 4:31and look very carefully, you may see all the different
- 4:36wildlife going about their day. The hedgehog mooching around looking
- 4:42for some big fat worms to eat, the squirrels seeking
- 4:46out nuts for their dinner. The butterflies happily dancing from
- 4:51flower to flower. Is that a rabbit you see hopping
- 4:56around under the big tree at the end of your garden,
- 4:59or maybe the fox playing with the cubs in the sunlight.
- 5:06Smell everything in your garden, Breathe in the wonderful a
- 5:11romance of your very own special place. Maybe there is
- 5:17a wild strawberry patch and strawberry is just itching to
- 5:21beaten by you, of course, Or an apple from a
- 5:26tree that you might want to taste. Maybe you have
- 5:30a bear tree to your garden. You can have anything
- 5:34you want. Maybe you can stoop to pick up a
- 5:38flower or hold a shell or a special stone in
- 5:42your hands. Just enjoy the warmth of the sun on
- 5:47your body, and really listen to the sounds of your garden,
- 5:54really hear the sounds of nature all around you. It's
- 5:59bird's song, a bee putting on a distant flower, the
- 6:04little squirrel cracking a nut. This is your space, your garden.
- 6:11Enjoy it. Explore your garden, just walk around it for
- 6:17a few moments, and just see how beautiful a place
- 6:22this is.
- 7:07Speaker 2: M to totting.
- 8:53Speaker 3: And.
- 9:14Speaker 1: That was really lovely, wasn't it? Just you and your garden.
- 9:23You decide to find somewhere to rest now, and you
- 9:27feel a little bit tired. Then you remember the lovely
- 9:32old wooden bench in your garden, the one with the
- 9:36soft cushions and the even softer velvety blanket. You go
- 9:42back to your bench, but this time you take a
- 9:45good look at it and notice what cour it is,
- 9:50what it's made of, how big it is. You love it.
- 9:58You decide to have a little rest on it for
- 10:01a while. The bench looks so inviting, so comfortable. You
- 10:07fluff up the cushions and lay down your head. You
- 10:12pull the soft velvety blanket all around yourself, giving a
- 10:17happy little sigh. Close your eyes, but you can still
- 10:24feel the garden all around you. You can still smell
- 10:29the beautiful scents of the flowers. You can still hear
- 10:34the sounds of the wildlife and all of the little birds,
- 10:40but it's like they know that you're going to take
- 10:43a nap now, so the birds are singing a lot quieter,
- 10:49and the wildlife are going about their business ever so quietly,
- 10:55so they don't disturb you. They know you want to
- 10:59sleep and rest your weary eyes, and you really do.
- 11:05Speaker 4: So.
- 11:06Speaker 1: As you listen to the much quieter garden, you feel
- 11:12very grateful to be here, so grateful in fact, that
- 11:17you decide you will come back here as often as
- 11:20you can, because you know there are many many things
- 11:26in your life that you are grateful for. You know
- 11:30how wonderful your life can be. But in this garden,
- 11:36it's amazing, and it's wonderful, your very own perfect garden
- 11:42with the most amazing old wooden bench. But for now,
- 11:49just breathe gently, feeling your eyes becoming very heavy now
- 11:56and they're just resting in silence. But it's not quite silent,
- 12:02not yet. You settle yourself down and you relax even further,
- 12:10and just being here in this lovely place, on this
- 12:15ever circumfy old wooden bench, it's wonderful. As you breathe
- 12:22slowly and gently, you give a great, big sigh of happiness.
- 12:29You feel so happy and relaxed, so peaceful and so calm,
- 12:37so protected and so very very safe. You're take in
- 12:43another breath and then slowly sighs out. Oh, but you
- 12:48feel so sleepy now, and even though your eyes are closed,
- 12:54they feel ever so tired. Breathing softly and gently now,
- 13:01And each time you breathe in, you take in all
- 13:05the good thoughts and positive feelings, and each time you
- 13:10breathe out you let all of your unwonted thoughts just
- 13:16drift away, just as you drift into the most wonderful
- 13:24night's sleep. Good night.
