- 0:10Speaker 1: Welcome to the favorites presented by draft Kings. The crown
- 0:13Speaker 1: is yours. We are an action network podcast. I'm your host,
- 0:17Speaker 1: Brandon Kravitz joined by the first lady, Kendra Middleton, Emerson Lott. See,
- 0:21Speaker 1: you'll be joining us in a bit week five, full
- 0:24Speaker 1: breakdown preview. Our five official plays. Two and three in
- 0:28Speaker 1: the contest last week. We'll see if we can get
- 0:31Speaker 1: back to our winning ways or just any winning ways, Kendra.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Any winning ways we'll do at this point.
- 0:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel decent, but at the same time, I
- 0:42Speaker 2: have no reason to feel decent.
- 0:43Speaker 3: So we'll just, you know what? It's in God's hands.
- 0:47Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Let Jesus take the wheel. Let's talk about the Eagles
- 0:50Speaker 1: for a moment before we get to our card and
- 0:53Speaker 1: Evan's trends. They are falling apart at the seams. Lane
- 0:57Speaker 1: Johnson announced his retirement.
- 0:59Speaker 4: Stephen A.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Smith has done four podcasts about it at this point.
- 1:03Speaker 1: And Cam Juergens has been traded. Saquon Barkley is out.
- 1:08Speaker 1: I like the angle that you sent in our group
- 1:10Speaker 1: chat yesterday. Let's not worry about London. Let's worry about
- 1:15Speaker 1: what happens after the fact. Nick Sirianni, his seat has
- 1:20Speaker 1: to be scorching. All of the turmoil, all of the
- 1:24Speaker 1: Jalen Hurts regression. all of the coordinators that they've run.
- 1:29Speaker 4: Through the last few years. I would just be.
- 1:33Speaker 1: Surprised at this point if he makes it through the season.
- 1:36Speaker 1: So I don't want to steal your thunder here. What's
- 1:39Speaker 1: the way to back this?
- 1:41Speaker 2: I texted you guys yesterday that if we were going
- 1:43Speaker 2: to get in on the Sirianni firing, it had to
- 1:46Speaker 2: be now or never.
- 1:47Speaker 3: We know how he will do it.
- 1:48Speaker 2: But the thing is, is that their schedule gives them
- 1:52Speaker 2: Some better odds of this happening coming up than I
- 1:55Speaker 2: would have anticipated at the beginning of the season. Obviously,
- 2:00Speaker 2: I'm not sure which version of the Eagles we're going
- 2:02Speaker 2: to get this week. We're going to talk about this
- 2:04Speaker 2: later when we preview this game. I just I'm unsure
- 2:06Speaker 2: if we're going to get them punting on the season
- 2:09Speaker 2: or a version of the Eagles that feels like underdogs
- 2:11Speaker 2: right now that's going to overperform. But the thing is,
- 2:14Speaker 2: you can't really fire someone after a London game because
- 2:16Speaker 2: the excuse of travel and whatnot is. The Panthers game
- 2:19Speaker 2: is who they have next on deck. Panthers coming off
- 2:22Speaker 2: of a buy. It is in Philly. But after that,
- 2:24Speaker 2: they have three consecutive divisional games. which if you don't
- 2:29Speaker 2: go at least two and one through those divisional teams
- 2:31Speaker 2: against potentially a really injured Jaden Daniels, if he stays
- 2:35Speaker 2: healthy this week, obviously they're not going to have a
- 2:37Speaker 2: healthy Giants team that they're going to play. So I
- 2:40Speaker 2: think the window is the value is not going to
- 2:42Speaker 2: get any better. If this is something you like, like
- 2:45Speaker 2: me and Kravitz, it's really truly now or never. And
- 2:47Speaker 2: I know that there are other coaches, but those coaches
- 2:49Speaker 2: don't have a One, I think owners who are as
- 2:53Speaker 2: willing and able to fire as the Eagles do, or
- 2:56Speaker 2: they have other excuses that factor into why they're not performing, i.e.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Dan Quinn.
- 3:01Speaker 1: And that is the part of this that I think
- 3:04Speaker 1: does need to be looked at before you go fire away.
- 3:07Speaker 1: But part of the reason that we like it is
- 3:09Speaker 1: because of how aggressive the Eagles are, as opposed to.
- 3:13Speaker 4: Some of these other organizations.
- 3:14Speaker 1: I mentioned this on one of our last podcasts and
- 3:17Speaker 1: talking to people that cover the Buccaneers. This is just
- 3:20Speaker 1: not something the Bucs do. The Bucs didn't fire Greg
- 3:23Speaker 1: Sciano in the middle of the season, and he was
- 3:25Speaker 1: a joke. So Todd Bowles is a heavy favorite to
- 3:29Speaker 1: be the first coach fired.
- 3:30Speaker 4: He's not going to be. At least it's not likely.
- 3:33Speaker 1: D'Amico Ryans I worry about a little bit. They're 0-4.
- 3:36Speaker 1: If they lose to the Titans, I think there could
- 3:40Speaker 1: be a surprise there. He's pretty low on the board,
- 3:43Speaker 1: but just looking around, Aaron Glenn still feels too new.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Sirianni is the most likely candidate, 8% right now.
- 3:50Speaker 4: To be the first coach fired.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Yeah. The thing with Todd Bowles for me is that
- 3:53Speaker 2: now he has the excuse of the quarterback. So I
- 3:56Speaker 2: think that that also buys him some time in that conversation.
- 3:59Speaker 2: I can't agree with you about D'Amico just because you
- 4:03Speaker 2: can't fire a guy who's performed as well as he
- 4:07Speaker 2: has through his first few years in the league, who's
- 4:09Speaker 2: getting off to an 0-4 start with a lot of
- 4:11Speaker 2: injury issues, especially now that the injury issues are piling up.
- 4:14Speaker 2: I do agree about the Titans. I think the conversation
- 4:16Speaker 2: starts after the Titans. But if they are going to
- 4:19Speaker 2: do it, I also don't think that they're a team
- 4:20Speaker 2: who's going to until after the year is over.
- 4:22Speaker 1: I don't want to see Dan Quinn lose his job.
- 4:24Speaker 1: There's something about Dan Quinn that I really like.
- 4:27Speaker 4: Stop. Stop.
- 4:28Speaker 3: No.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Matt LaFleur would be another one, and Jim Harbaugh. I'll
- 4:32Speaker 1: keep an eye out for him if the Chargers lose again.
- 4:37Speaker 1: They could just clean out the entire staff at that point.
- 4:40Speaker 1: All right, Evan, the floor is yours. Welcome to the show.
- 4:43Speaker 1: We've got two-minute trends here. Do you like the Nick
- 4:46Speaker 1: Sirianni angle first and foremost?
- 4:52Speaker 5: I think it's just too short at the moment. I
- 4:54Speaker 5: think this would have been something to look into if
- 4:55Speaker 5: you didn't like the Eagles entering the season. I just
- 4:57Speaker 5: think now it's like, it kind of doesn't matter. I
- 4:59Speaker 5: think the more interesting one is LaFleur. I think it's
- 5:01Speaker 5: kind of fascinating with that game at home. Like if
- 5:03Speaker 5: they just got blown out by a backup, but again,
- 5:06Speaker 5: hard to see them firing him. But I think this year,
- 5:08Speaker 5: very fascinating market. So something I'm kind of watching week
- 5:12Speaker 5: to week. All right. The three trends I am looking at,
- 5:15Speaker 5: and then I'll give you a fun bonus one. Six
- 5:17Speaker 5: plus point favorites this season, 15-6 straight up, but just
- 5:20Speaker 5: 6-13-2 against the spread. Would be the worst start for
- 5:23Speaker 5: those bigger favorites since 2010, so not your best start.
- 5:27Speaker 5: And six outright losses already through four weeks, which is intriguing.
- 5:32Speaker 5: Kind of in the same vein, teams who entered the
- 5:35Speaker 5: season with a double-digit win total this year so far,
- 5:38Speaker 5: facing teams not in that group, 17-11 straight up, 11 losses,
- 5:41Speaker 5: but 7-19-2 against the spread. Second worst start ATS last
- 5:48Speaker 5: 20 years for those double digit win totals this early
- 5:52Speaker 5: in the season. So not your best start. And then
- 5:55Speaker 5: this final one division dogs, you had mentioned it before
- 5:58Speaker 5: a little bit with home, but if you just look
- 5:59Speaker 5: overall nine and eight straight up division dogs above 500
- 6:03Speaker 5: straight up, but 12 and five against the spread third,
- 6:07Speaker 5: third best start since the merger against the spread best
- 6:11Speaker 5: in 2010. And it's just the second season above 500
- 6:15Speaker 5: straight up through four games. So, Division dogs, bad teams,
- 6:19Speaker 5: big favorites, just not the best start early in the season.
- 6:23Speaker 5: And then this is just a fun one I've seen
- 6:25Speaker 5: in a few places. BetLabs has used it as well.
- 6:27Speaker 5: But as a three-plus point favorite, Drake May 14-0 straight
- 6:32Speaker 5: up in his career. No losses. And minus three and
- 6:36Speaker 5: a half this week. The other one, which is just ridiculous,
- 6:39Speaker 5: if you look at that stat, three-plus point favorites, Bo
- 6:42Speaker 5: Nix is 16-1. But he's also on the road here.
- 6:47Speaker 5: So you have a little bit of a contradicting situation.
- 6:49Speaker 5: I think he's 2-10 ATS, lost 12 in his road starts.
- 6:53Speaker 5: And you can look at the numbers. They're not fantastic.
- 6:55Speaker 5: But those are the trends of the week.
- 6:58Speaker 3: Evan, I have a question.
- 6:59Speaker 2: I texted our group. I texted our group chat yesterday,
- 7:03Speaker 2: and I probably should have texted you privately, and I'm
- 7:05Speaker 2: not sure if this is something that.
- 7:06Speaker 3: You've looked into.
- 7:07Speaker 2: But does it feel to you, without obviously available analytics,
- 7:11Speaker 2: unless you can pull them up quickly, that there have
- 7:13Speaker 2: been more players with two touchdowns per game this season
- 7:17Speaker 2: compared to other years? We were texting about this yesterday.
- 7:20Speaker 2: It feels like Every major player has at least a
- 7:24Speaker 2: two touchdown game. And even some of the like quieter
- 7:26Speaker 2: players like Cody White has had a two touchdown game.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Like it just feels like this is and maybe this
- 7:32Speaker 2: is a recency bias thing after watching Thursday night football.
- 7:35Speaker 3: But it just it feels like a lot.
- 7:39Speaker 5: I can 110% check this for you. It's just not
- 7:42Speaker 5: going to be as fast as at this moment.
- 7:44Speaker 3: I will say next week. That's on me.
- 7:46Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah.
- 7:47Speaker 5: Betting and fantasy football does always tell me that I
- 7:50Speaker 5: feel things stronger than maybe they had in the past.
- 7:53Speaker 5: Just cause it's thrown in my face all the time,
- 7:56Speaker 5: but something I can easily look up.
- 7:57Speaker 2: We can pin this for next week.
- 7:59Speaker 4: It's definitely happening.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Is it happening more than in previous seasons is something
- 8:04Speaker 1: I'd be really up in the, up in the air about,
- 8:06Speaker 1: but I did pull some of the names that have
- 8:09Speaker 1: done it already this season.
- 8:10Speaker 4: And have done it multiple times.
- 8:12Speaker 1: Guys like Jameer Gibbs and Kenneth Walker and Derrick Henry
- 8:15Speaker 1: and JSN. Like, we've seen the stars have really shined.
- 8:20Speaker 1: Bijan Robinson is another one.
- 8:22Speaker 3: Brian Robinson.
- 8:23Speaker 1: And what's crazy, too, is that meat is being left
- 8:25Speaker 1: on the bone. Because, and this has been a big
- 8:27Speaker 1: story this week, the referees are out of control. 17
- 8:31Speaker 1: touchdowns have been called back due to offensive penalties.
- 8:34Speaker 5: So.
- 8:35Speaker 1: There's actually a higher ceiling here for, I don't know
- 8:38Speaker 1: about the double touchdowns, but there's at least a higher
- 8:40Speaker 1: ceiling for touchdowns. Evan, before we cut you loose, one
- 8:44Speaker 1: of the games I know we're going to discuss here,
- 8:46Speaker 1: as could we discuss all of them, is the game
- 8:48Speaker 1: in London. The line has moved four points from the open.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Jacksonville 7-0 ATS is a favorite of three plus points
- 8:56Speaker 1: since last season began. But is it too late to
- 9:00Speaker 1: back the Jacksonville Jaguars with that sort of movement?
- 9:04Speaker 5: Yeah, so I'll just give you one blanketed stat. This
- 9:06Speaker 5: uses my data plus BetLabs' data. But to me, this
- 9:09Speaker 5: was the easiest way to try to comprehend this type
- 9:13Speaker 5: of line movement. So if you look at our look-ahead data,
- 9:16Speaker 5: we had the Eagles before lines came out, before we
- 9:19Speaker 5: knew anything about this matchup, as minus one and a
- 9:21Speaker 5: half in this matchup. So that was the look-ahead line.
- 9:24Speaker 5: Jacksonville now sitting minus seven and a half. So you're
- 9:27Speaker 5: at a full nine-point move. So the note I put
- 9:30Speaker 5: into my primer was this. Whether it's cluster injuries or
- 9:32Speaker 5: season results, Line movement hasn't helped teams in the past.
- 9:36Speaker 5: When a team doesn't start a backup quarterback, so you've
- 9:39Speaker 5: got Jalen Hurts out there, but still sees their line
- 9:42Speaker 5: get six plus points better from the look ahead to
- 9:44Speaker 5: closing line, which this is at nine already. They are
- 9:47Speaker 5: just eight and 50 straight up and 1938 and one
- 9:52Speaker 5: against the spread versus the closing number over the last
- 9:55Speaker 5: four seasons. So this week, this is the Eagles and
- 9:58Speaker 5: based off the closing lines, it could be the packers
- 10:01Speaker 5: but right now that's sitting at five and a half
- 10:03Speaker 5: and it could be the chargers which is at exactly
- 10:07Speaker 5: six points at the moment so obviously some line movement
- 10:10Speaker 5: uh dictating results a little bit but either way it
- 10:13Speaker 5: would definitely be the eagles considering where we are.
- 10:16Speaker 4: Wow evan you were in your bag with that one Birkin.
- 10:21Speaker 4: That was really good. Evan Abrams, ladies and gentlemen, go.
- 10:24Speaker 1: And check out the primer on Action Network and actionnetwork.com.
- 10:28Speaker 1: More of the favorites coming up are nominated plays and
- 10:30Speaker 1: vetoes used with expert precision.
- 10:33Speaker 4: But first, a word. From DraftKings.

- 11:06Speaker 1: Time to welcome back our special guest picker, one of
- 11:09Speaker 1: our faves, the one and only Emerson Latzia, the face
- 11:12Speaker 1: of DraftKings, the mustard to our glizzy.
- 11:16Speaker 4: What's up, my friend? What's up, dude?
- 11:18Speaker 6: Just being basic, sipping on my... Is that a PSL? Yeah,
- 11:23Speaker 6: it's a PSL, but for the guys, for my brothers
- 11:28Speaker 6: in Christ watching, this is pumpkin protein cold foam.
- 11:34Speaker 7: Yeah, that's right.
- 11:35Speaker 3: Ooh, he likes the protein cream on top.
- 11:38Speaker 4: Oh, yes, daddy.
- 11:42Speaker 1: I can't believe Starbucks got people to pay extra for protein.
- 11:46Speaker 1: Talk about just having all of us over a barrel.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Now we go to Starbucks for our protein.
- 11:52Speaker 4: Hold on.
- 11:53Speaker 6: It is one of my wife's, like, she has a
- 11:55Speaker 6: lot of complaints about me, but one of her biggest ones,
- 11:58Speaker 6: it's like, I'm.
- 11:58Speaker 7: A marketer's dream.
- 11:59Speaker 6: Like, I will fucking fall for anything. You could sell
- 12:04Speaker 6: me anything. And so once they were like, yo, we're
- 12:07Speaker 6: putting protein in our cold film, I'm like, done. Fucking done.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Not to be a conspiracy theorist, but Starbucks and Dunkin'
- 12:15Speaker 2: are actually now just banks with their app combined. There
- 12:18Speaker 2: is over a billion with a B dollars preloaded into
- 12:23Speaker 2: their apps.
- 12:25Speaker 4: Well, you know what? Bank of America should start selling
- 12:28Speaker 4: coffee then. Let's catch up.
- 12:33Speaker 3: Just pick something already. If you don't like it, you
- 12:36Speaker 3: can just veto it.
- 12:38Speaker 1: We got two teams on by this week. No Chiefs,
- 12:41Speaker 1: no Panthers. So we'll keep them.
- 12:42Speaker 4: Off to the side.
- 12:44Speaker 1: I decided to do the responsible thing today and review
- 12:47Speaker 1: the contest lines before we started yapping about them on
- 12:50Speaker 1: the podcast. And I just want to throw this out
- 12:53Speaker 1: there before we go game by game. The Falcons, who
- 12:56Speaker 1: are the Sunday night game against the Ravens, are plus
- 12:59Speaker 1: two and a half in the contest. So should we
- 13:01Speaker 1: just take the freebie and throw them in before we
- 13:05Speaker 1: even get because it's the last game. And I feel
- 13:09Speaker 1: as though it would be a mistake to not just
- 13:12Speaker 1: take the free dub. And if we get to five
- 13:16Speaker 1: before we get there, then there would be a debate.
- 13:18Speaker 3: We should talk about it. Okay.
- 13:21Speaker 7: Let's talk this out. Let's talk it out.
- 13:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:24Speaker 1: Well, let's start with Thursday night football. Then we'll get there.
- 13:26Speaker 1: There's a nice tease for you.
- 13:28Speaker 4: To hang till the end. Bucks Cowboys in Dallas.
- 13:31Speaker 1: Dallas laying eight and a half total at 47 and
- 13:35Speaker 1: a half. The Buccaneers have lost four one score games.
- 13:38Speaker 1: They are minus 20 in terms of point differential. That's
- 13:41Speaker 1: the fifth best game. for an own four team of
- 13:45Speaker 1: all time, but is it enough for us to get to.
- 13:47Speaker 4: The window on Jalen Daniels? Do we dare Kendra?
- 13:52Speaker 3: I do kind of like the Bucs.
- 13:53Speaker 2: They were someone I was going to nominate, but wanted
- 13:55Speaker 2: to talk to you guys about it just because the
- 13:57Speaker 2: number feels really inflated for, and I get that it's
- 13:59Speaker 2: a backup quarterback, but the Cowboys defense does suck. They're
- 14:03Speaker 2: coming off of a huge, you know, people, I talked
- 14:05Speaker 2: about this last week. A lot of people who are,
- 14:07Speaker 2: you know, probably more casual football fans don't see the
- 14:10Speaker 2: Cowboys and Houston being rivals, but it is an in-state rivalry.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Like that's a game that people get up for because
- 14:15Speaker 2: people in Texas take Texas seriously. And I think that
- 14:18Speaker 2: it's a good spot to buy on the books right now,
- 14:20Speaker 2: just because at the end of the day, we talk
- 14:22Speaker 2: constantly about how there are really good teams in the
- 14:24Speaker 2: NFL and there are bad teams in the NFL. I
- 14:26Speaker 2: think the Cowboys, if their defense got a little bit better,
- 14:29Speaker 2: could be a good team in the NFL, but this
- 14:31Speaker 2: is still professional football. And this is a huge number
- 14:34Speaker 2: for a professional football team.
- 14:37Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 14:38Speaker 6: I mean, Kendra has kind of got me convinced. Like
- 14:41Speaker 6: I was, I've been on the fence a Because I
- 14:44Speaker 6: look at Dallas, I know that offensive firepower they have
- 14:47Speaker 6: that can create separation. But I think, and I know
- 14:53Speaker 6: it's only game one, this may be my peg of
- 14:56Speaker 6: the week to where I see the Buccaneers with.
- 15:00Speaker 2: A little backdoor cover.
- 15:01Speaker 4: I agree. Early peg of the week, yes. Here's the thing.
- 15:04Speaker 1: The favorites typically do well historically on Thursday Night Football.
- 15:09Speaker 4: The ugly dogs.
- 15:11Speaker 1: in prime time this year have been tremendous and you know,
- 15:16Speaker 1: the world is going to be on the Dallas Cowboys here.
- 15:18Speaker 1: I'll pull up the public percentages right now, fading the
- 15:22Speaker 1: public in general. I think great idea this year. It's
- 15:25Speaker 1: been even more profitable. 72% of the bets.
- 15:29Speaker 4: Are on the Dallas Cowboys.
- 15:30Speaker 1: And in contest, we actually get this at plus nine
- 15:33Speaker 1: and a half.
- 15:34Speaker 4: Yep.
- 15:35Speaker 3: Send it. Book it.
- 15:36Speaker 4: Books.
- 15:37Speaker 1: When we have this much agreement, we just can't overthink it.
- 15:41Speaker 1: It's got to go in there.
- 15:42Speaker 4: Look at us Thursday. And you know what? Thursday night.
- 15:46Speaker 2: We got something to cheer for tonight. We can spread
- 15:48Speaker 2: our balls off together. I can listen to the noise
- 15:51Speaker 2: in my apartment while I watch the game.
- 15:54Speaker 7: Yeah. So what's going on there? You have construction?
- 15:57Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 15:58Speaker 3: They're jackhammering all of the floor.
- 16:00Speaker 2: Over the next three weeks, they're jackhammering all of the
- 16:02Speaker 2: floors out of the shared space on the other side
- 16:06Speaker 2: of my wall. And it's going on every single day.
- 16:08Speaker 2: But the construction is going to go on through February.
- 16:10Speaker 2: And they didn't think that my Karen ass would say
- 16:12Speaker 2: anything or look up the law.
- 16:14Speaker 3: So I'm PMSing, you guys. I don't care if the
- 16:17Speaker 3: pod listeners know that.
- 16:18Speaker 6: I'm sorry.
- 16:18Speaker 3: You've all touched a woman before, I hope.
- 16:20Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 16:21Speaker 7: No, it happens.
- 16:23Speaker 6: You know, you just got to make sure you have
- 16:25Speaker 6: fresh tampons and pads and stuff like that and take
- 16:28Speaker 6: care of yourself.
- 16:29Speaker 7: It's natural.
- 16:30Speaker 3: Emerson, thank you.
- 16:31Speaker 2: I forgot to order them on the internet, so I'm
- 16:33Speaker 2: going to shout out Amazon Prime. If you want to
- 16:34Speaker 2: sponsor us, I'm ordering that right now.
- 16:37Speaker 3: Anyways, next.
- 16:38Speaker 1: We love it. And we're betting your football game tonight.
- 16:42Speaker 1: So hopefully Jalen Daniels jackhammers this Cowboys defense.
- 16:47Speaker 4: Plus nine and a half.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Peg of the week first in the contest for us. Kumbaya.
- 16:54Speaker 1: Let's go to one. We got the Eagles against the Jags.
- 16:58Speaker 1: Jags minus seven. It is minus six and a half
- 17:01Speaker 1: in the contest. And Emerson has lost his load here.
- 17:05Speaker 1: The Eagles are hogging the headlines ahead of this one.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Lane Johnson retires. Saquon Barkley is out. Bigsby is out.
- 17:12Speaker 1: Devante Smith is out. Cam Juergens got traded. I mean,
- 17:17Speaker 1: it would be quicker for me to tell you who
- 17:18Speaker 1: is playing for this team. Can the Jags stomp them out?
- 17:22Speaker 4: Guys, you are our Jags faithful.
- 17:26Speaker 6: I'm on a flight to London tonight, 7 o'clock. I
- 17:29Speaker 6: have like 30 Jag shirts in my luggage behind me
- 17:33Speaker 6: on the floor. I'm not going there.
- 17:35Speaker 4: Can you move over a little bit so we can
- 17:37Speaker 4: see the Trevor Lawrence one behind you? Over in the corner.
- 17:39Speaker 4: Can you see it?
- 17:40Speaker 5: Here.
- 17:40Speaker 4: Yeah, I can see it.
- 17:42Speaker 7: Can you see it back there? Right next to my
- 17:44Speaker 7: golf clubs?
- 17:46Speaker 4: Tough. Yeah.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:48Speaker 7: So it's like we were texting a little bit yesterday.
- 17:52Speaker 7: Like this should be a game, right?
- 17:54Speaker 6: You look at it like on paper, especially with all
- 17:56Speaker 6: those injuries.
- 17:57Speaker 7: I mean, you got, you have guys for the Eagles
- 18:00Speaker 7: who are just.
- 18:00Speaker 4: Like, yeah, fuck this.
- 18:02Speaker 7: I'm, I'm done.
- 18:03Speaker 6: I'm out of here. I'm going to go focus on
- 18:05Speaker 6: my family and my mental health because this playing for
- 18:07Speaker 6: this team is not good.
- 18:09Speaker 7: For my mental health.
- 18:10Speaker 6: Like on paper, you would think the Jags are going
- 18:12Speaker 6: to should just absolutely destroy, annihilate, tongue-punch their balloon knot
- 18:20Speaker 6: for four freaking quarters. I'm still a little nervous, though,
- 18:24Speaker 6: because we're not usually, like, we haven't been in this
- 18:27Speaker 6: position a lot, Kendra. Like, our team is good. We're
- 18:30Speaker 6: going to London, where we've been playing since, what, 2013.
- 18:35Speaker 6: You would think that, like, you know, we're okay over there.
- 18:39Speaker 6: I think our record is fairly decent. The good news
- 18:42Speaker 6: is Trevor Lawrence has a great record in Tottenham Hotspur, 2-1.
- 18:48Speaker 6: Guy's thrown like four touchdowns. He has a great pass already.
- 18:53Speaker 6: I do think the Jags cover. I don't want this
- 18:57Speaker 6: more than 7, though, because.
- 19:00Speaker 7: I'm still nervous. This does have backdoor.
- 19:02Speaker 6: Cover concern for me, but I hope I'm wrong, and yes,
- 19:06Speaker 6: I am taking the Jags to cover.
- 19:08Speaker 3: I have two questions.
- 19:09Speaker 2: I don't think we should put this in the contest
- 19:10Speaker 2: because I think that there are better games and we
- 19:13Speaker 2: already have one in pocket. But my thing with this
- 19:16Speaker 2: is I don't want to touch this for two reasons.
- 19:19Speaker 2: When the Jaguars had back-to-back games in London in 2024,
- 19:23Speaker 2: the first game they played against the Bears, they got
- 19:24Speaker 2: their shit rocked. The second game against the Patriots, they
- 19:27Speaker 2: played a lot better. I know that they have a
- 19:29Speaker 2: routine and London is their second home.
- 19:31Speaker 3: People love to call it whatever.
- 19:32Speaker 2: But I am worried with the two-game stance with history
- 19:36Speaker 2: how that first game goes. My second thing is I'm between,
- 19:40Speaker 2: is this the type of classic Eagles game where they
- 19:43Speaker 2: are cornered and they somehow come out, show out, because
- 19:47Speaker 2: that feels like something that the Eagles consistently do. or
- 19:50Speaker 2: are they punting on this season because of the injuries
- 19:53Speaker 2: with the trade with the retirement I really can't decide
- 19:57Speaker 2: yeah I'm totally.
- 19:58Speaker 6: With you I I'm Like I would obviously, I would
- 20:01Speaker 6: pick the Jags to cover. I mean, I think a
- 20:03Speaker 6: lot of that is more of like my heart than
- 20:05Speaker 6: my head, but like you said, I'm probably not going
- 20:08Speaker 6: to mess with this game. I want to sit there
- 20:09Speaker 6: in the stands and I just really like want to
- 20:11Speaker 6: enjoy it because I could see it going either way.
- 20:14Speaker 6: And as you've already pointed out, history says like Jags
- 20:18Speaker 6: in that first game, maybe not great.
- 20:20Speaker 7: Also Texans coming up next week.
- 20:22Speaker 2: Not saying it's a huge, yeah, I'm not saying it's
- 20:24Speaker 2: a huge look ahead spot, but it Divisional.
- 20:28Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 20:28Speaker 7: Divisional game in London.
- 20:30Speaker 4: I don't know, man.
- 20:31Speaker 6: There are better games on the board.
- 20:33Speaker 1: You would be buying ultimately high on the Jaguars and
- 20:36Speaker 1: the Eagles have their backs against the wall. Yes, that
- 20:39Speaker 1: team feels like poison right now. I'm not exactly telling
- 20:41Speaker 1: you you should go and bet the Eagles. The favorites
- 20:44Speaker 1: have done really well in London. They cover at a
- 20:48Speaker 1: high rate, but this one that Evan threw in the
- 20:50Speaker 1: primer this week fascinates me.
- 20:52Speaker 4: In games where the favorite is off of a win.
- 20:55Speaker 4: That's the Jags. And the dog is off of a loss.
- 20:57Speaker 4: That's the Eagles.
- 20:58Speaker 1: The favorite still covers 65% of the time, but they
- 21:01Speaker 1: win 90% of the time. I think taking the Jags
- 21:05Speaker 1: in a teaser, if you're of that variety, that's the
- 21:07Speaker 1: way to go by the number back down closer to
- 21:09Speaker 1: where it was in the first place and pair it
- 21:13Speaker 1: with somebody else.
- 21:14Speaker 4: Let's move.
- 21:15Speaker 3: Wait, I do have a bet in this game. One second.
- 21:18Speaker 4: What is it?
- 21:18Speaker 2: Over on DraftKings, you can get the Jags. First sack,
- 21:22Speaker 2: minus 120. I think that that is an incredible bet.
- 21:25Speaker 2: I know that the Jaguars have had a really hard
- 21:27Speaker 2: time getting home this season, but with all of the
- 21:29Speaker 2: injuries and what's going on with their offensive line, I
- 21:32Speaker 2: think that that is, if you can't get home on
- 21:34Speaker 2: this injured Eagles team, you're not going to get home.
- 21:38Speaker 3: Has to be this week.
- 21:39Speaker 7: I love that bet. Good call, Kendra.
- 21:42Speaker 1: Bears Packers Packers plus two and a half. The line
- 21:45Speaker 1: is on the move as we speak. It's down to
- 21:48Speaker 1: one and a half, but a contest locks at two
- 21:51Speaker 1: and a half. The Bears have been without Caleb Williams
- 21:54Speaker 1: for the last two weeks. They've managed to win both
- 21:56Speaker 1: games by double digits. They're three and one on the season.
- 22:00Speaker 1: The Packers are off of a win in Tampa, but
- 22:03Speaker 1: they still feel broken. I wanted the cheese heads all week.
- 22:09Speaker 1: Right before we started talking, I bet them at two
- 22:12Speaker 1: and a half.
- 22:13Speaker 5: Nice.
- 22:13Speaker 1: I think this is a good time to buy them
- 22:16Speaker 1: home dogs in division against the bears. This never happens.
- 22:21Speaker 1: We're getting a golden opportunity here to fade a team
- 22:26Speaker 1: that I think might be at their apex backup court.
- 22:28Speaker 1: It's still, I know Ben Johnson has been doing a
- 22:31Speaker 1: marvelous job. He's still working with backup quarterbacks. They were
- 22:35Speaker 1: terrible in the red zone against the jets. The Jets
- 22:38Speaker 1: offense just stinks, so they couldn't keep pace. They probably
- 22:41Speaker 1: should have covered that game. I like the Packers plus
- 22:43Speaker 1: the points. Not an official nomination for me because there's
- 22:47Speaker 1: others that I love this week, but I do like
- 22:49Speaker 1: the Packers.
- 22:49Speaker 4: Plus the points.
- 22:51Speaker 2: I can, I ask you what you like about the
- 22:54Speaker 2: Packers because I can tell you what I like about
- 22:56Speaker 2: the lions and that it's Ben Johnson is on a
- 22:58Speaker 2: mission to put up points and win with whoever is
- 23:01Speaker 2: available to him at quarterback. And the fact that he's
- 23:03Speaker 2: been able to do that with three different guys through
- 23:06Speaker 2: four weeks of the season, I'm not ready to fade
- 23:08Speaker 2: Ben Johnson. If anything in this game, I want the over,
- 23:10Speaker 2: but I'm curious what you like about what, what makes
- 23:12Speaker 2: you feel good about this Packers team right now?
- 23:15Speaker 3: Because for me, it's absolutely nothing.
- 23:16Speaker 4: Well, exactly. I mean, and that's part of it too.
- 23:19Speaker 1: I think we got to be in the business of
- 23:20Speaker 1: buy lows for teams that aren't completely dead in the water.
- 23:23Speaker 1: The Packers defense has been good 18 or less against
- 23:27Speaker 1: the jets and the bucks. And I know that the
- 23:29Speaker 1: bears are a different animal offensively, but again, we're talking
- 23:32Speaker 1: about this isn't a Caleb Williams led bears team. Ben
- 23:35Speaker 1: Johnson's having to put together an offense with duct tape
- 23:39Speaker 1: and glue. And I do worry about the Packers offense stinks,
- 23:44Speaker 1: but the fact that you get them at home as
- 23:46Speaker 1: dogs and a Bears team that's a little overvalued right now,
- 23:49Speaker 1: that's what I like about them.
- 23:51Speaker 6: I think I saw a tweet from DraftKings or maybe
- 23:53Speaker 6: it was an Instagram post. The last time Chicago was
- 23:57Speaker 6: favored in Green Bay, Rex Grossman and Brett Favre were
- 24:02Speaker 6: the quarterbacks.
- 24:03Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 24:04Speaker 6: So Green Bay getting points. At Lambeau to me because.
- 24:08Speaker 1: 2006, that was the last time that the bears were,
- 24:11Speaker 1: were favorites in Lambeau.
- 24:12Speaker 6: Like you factor in the Caleb Williams, like injury. I
- 24:15Speaker 6: don't know. Green Bay getting points at Lambeau. It is
- 24:17Speaker 6: like super attractive to me. So, and what approximately, let
- 24:21Speaker 6: me see. I have the number here. 89% of the
- 24:23Speaker 6: money on the spread is backing Chicago. Like I'm going Packers.
- 24:27Speaker 6: I'm going Packers plus two and a half.
- 24:29Speaker 4: And they finally started to run the ball. Well, too.
- 24:31Speaker 1: I like the way that Marshawn Lloyd looked last week
- 24:33Speaker 1: in the bucks have a good run defense. So that's
- 24:35Speaker 1: not nothing. Lucas Van Ness didn't practice on Wednesday. I
- 24:40Speaker 1: kind of need him to play. I would say to
- 24:42Speaker 1: bet it, but I already bet it. So we're in
- 24:45Speaker 1: pocket with the Packers.
- 24:46Speaker 4: Not in the contest.
- 24:50Speaker 3: We can keep it as a maybe.
- 24:51Speaker 2: I will say I do think that if Caleb Williams
- 24:55Speaker 2: were playing in this game, I don't know if you
- 24:57Speaker 2: guys remember last year when they nicknamed him the Great
- 24:59Speaker 2: One and people were bringing in cheese graters. That would
- 25:02Speaker 2: be some A-plus content this week if we were able.
- 25:04Speaker 6: To get it.
- 25:05Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 25:06Speaker 4: Maybe he'll, um, maybe he'll do something gimmicky on the sidelines.
- 25:10Speaker 1: Let's go Bengals dolphins, dolphins catching six and a half
- 25:14Speaker 1: at home total at 42 and a half contest line
- 25:17Speaker 1: is seven and a half.
- 25:19Speaker 4: So appealing.
- 25:20Speaker 1: Uh, the Bengals started the season two and of they've
- 25:23Speaker 1: dropped two cents to the Steelers and the Jags, their opponent,
- 25:27Speaker 1: Miami just covered their first spread of the season. How
- 25:30Speaker 1: cute Jamar chase status is up in the air. T
- 25:33Speaker 1: Higgins status is up in the air. That's why the
- 25:35Speaker 1: line is what it is. I don't think the Dolphins
- 25:37Speaker 1: are getting tremendous action here. This is very much injury related.
- 25:41Speaker 1: I don't want to touch this game. The Dolphins are
- 25:44Speaker 1: probably the quote unquote sharp side, but burrow off of
- 25:48Speaker 1: a loss against a team that can't score. I don't
- 25:51Speaker 1: know how the Dolphins keep pace here.
- 25:53Speaker 4: So I'm kind of caught in limbo.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Yeah, my fear is also they have the buy on
- 25:58Speaker 2: deck and that they might just be able, like their
- 26:01Speaker 2: goal is probably just to survive this game, get a
- 26:03Speaker 2: win and stay healthy and get to the buy. That's
- 26:06Speaker 2: kind of my thing is I don't think that they're
- 26:08Speaker 2: going to go out here and try and blow doors
- 26:09Speaker 2: against a bad team to prove anything. I think that
- 26:12Speaker 2: they're in like stay healthy mode. What I am going
- 26:15Speaker 2: to offer up for this game is a Mike Gusecki
- 26:17Speaker 2: anytime as.
- 26:18Speaker 3: A revenge spot.
- 26:19Speaker 4: I wrote that down too. That's great.
- 26:21Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what I've got.
- 26:22Speaker 2: But the thing is, books literally, because of everything going
- 26:25Speaker 2: on with the Bengals receivers, are not offering props right
- 26:28Speaker 2: now for anyone other than an anytime touchdown for Gesicki.
- 26:30Speaker 3: I was looking at receptions. I was looking at yards. Nothing.
- 26:35Speaker 4: I'm down for it.
- 26:36Speaker 6: Getting below that key number of seven, though, that kind
- 26:38Speaker 6: of makes Cincinnati a little more appealing for me.
- 26:41Speaker 2: Agree, but it's not in the contest. If it were
- 26:43Speaker 2: a six and a half in contest, I'd say we
- 26:45Speaker 2: should send it.
- 26:46Speaker 4: Okay. I don't think we can buy it.
- 26:48Speaker 1: We can't buy the Bengals at seven and a half,
- 26:50Speaker 1: but I mean, I can see this game. This game
- 26:53Speaker 1: just reeks of close at the half, maybe even close.
- 26:57Speaker 4: Halfway through the third, and then the Bengals win 20
- 26:59Speaker 4: to six.
- 27:00Speaker 5: Agree.
- 27:02Speaker 4: So let's move to the Texans and the Titans. This
- 27:06Speaker 4: is an interesting one. So the Texans are seven and
- 27:10Speaker 4: a half point favorites on the road. Contest line is
- 27:13Speaker 4: six and a half.
- 27:14Speaker 1: The start for the Texans has been very frustrating. They
- 27:18Speaker 1: have led in the final two minutes in three of
- 27:21Speaker 1: their four losses. I have lost a considerable amount of
- 27:26Speaker 1: money betting on the Houston Texans. This should be a
- 27:31Speaker 1: smash spot. CJ Stroud interceptions for you. Texans spread for me.
- 27:36Speaker 1: Nothing is working. We have them on bet IR, but
- 27:39Speaker 1: this is a smash spot for the Houston Texans. We
- 27:43Speaker 1: should be adding the Texans minus six and a half
- 27:47Speaker 1: to this contest.
- 27:48Speaker 4: Will we is a different question, but we should.
- 27:51Speaker 2: Their entire defense is on the injury report, though, Kravis.
- 27:54Speaker 2: I get that the Titans suck, but they are hurt.
- 27:58Speaker 2: Even on offense, Collins and Dell were both limited in
- 28:00Speaker 2: practice this week.
- 28:02Speaker 1: Well, Dell hasn't played yet. I think him being limited
- 28:05Speaker 1: is a good sign. We might actually see Tank Dell
- 28:08Speaker 1: make his debut. Collins has to play in order for
- 28:12Speaker 1: us to feel good about this because C.J. Stroud, he
- 28:15Speaker 1: looks like a third string quarterback when Nico Collins isn't
- 28:19Speaker 1: on the field. And I think he looks pretty, he
- 28:21Speaker 1: looks like prime Bryce young when, when, uh, when, when
- 28:25Speaker 1: Collins is out there, it's just a complete, completely different
- 28:28Speaker 1: offense with him. Uh, the David Montgomery signing for a
- 28:31Speaker 1: quick aside, what a waste of cash that was just
- 28:34Speaker 1: send him back to Detroit.
- 28:35Speaker 4: They need him.
- 28:36Speaker 6: They need Tennessee has attracted 66% of the money despite
- 28:40Speaker 6: receiving only 39% of the bets here. So that discrepancy
- 28:44Speaker 6: combined with the extra half point, it kind of makes
- 28:47Speaker 6: the Titans my new ETS selection here.
- 28:51Speaker 4: So let me give you the, let me give you
- 28:52Speaker 4: the trend.
- 28:53Speaker 1: Let me give you the trend on this from our
- 28:55Speaker 1: stat sound, Evan Abrams, before you go smash and keys
- 28:58Speaker 1: on the Titans, the Titans are three and 15 ATS
- 29:02Speaker 1: against the AFC South over the last four seasons. With
- 29:05Speaker 1: Cam Ward at quarterback, the Titans are 2-6 ATS after
- 29:11Speaker 1: they cover the spread, which they did last week against
- 29:14Speaker 1: the Baltimore Ravens.
- 29:15Speaker 4: Good job, Kendra. They are not bettable. Not bettable.
- 29:19Speaker 2: No.
- 29:20Speaker 1: And that offense is just, it's horrendous. The Texans have
- 29:26Speaker 1: been susceptible to big plays. That's the reason they've lost.
- 29:29Speaker 1: Look at the quarterbacks they've given up. Big yardage to
- 29:33Speaker 1: Joe Burrow, Dak Prescott, Josh Allen. Cam Ward is not
- 29:36Speaker 1: those guys. This is Texans or nothing.
- 29:39Speaker 6: You could not pay.
- 29:40Speaker 7: Me to watch this game.
- 29:41Speaker 4: Like, seriously.
- 29:43Speaker 6: You couldn't pay me to do it. I would rather
- 29:46Speaker 6: have somebody drop a fat deuce in a brown paper
- 29:50Speaker 6: bag and light it on fire on my stoop, and
- 29:54Speaker 6: then I will stomp it out with my boots. That
- 29:57Speaker 6: is what I would rather have happen to me than
- 30:00Speaker 6: watch a single play in this game.
- 30:04Speaker 2: I am going to watch the entire thing, but also
- 30:06Speaker 2: seven and a half. In division feels like I get that.
- 30:11Speaker 3: Don't get me wrong.
- 30:12Speaker 2: I know that both of these teams are bad, but
- 30:14Speaker 2: seven and a half in a divisional game when we
- 30:15Speaker 2: know divisional games are just built different. It's tough.
- 30:19Speaker 4: All right. Not, not in, not in. We are in
- 30:22Speaker 4: bet purgatory with that one.
- 30:23Speaker 1: Let's go to the Colts and the Steelers Steelers minus
- 30:26Speaker 1: two and a half total at 44 and a half. Really,
- 30:29Speaker 1: really bad schedule spot for the Colts here off of
- 30:32Speaker 1: a London game on the road against the Steelers team
- 30:36Speaker 1: with 10 days to prep. Yet 68% of the tickets
- 30:41Speaker 1: are on the Colts here. I don't want to bet
- 30:43Speaker 1: the Steelers. You don't want to bet the Steelers. I
- 30:47Speaker 1: feel like we got to bet the Pittsburgh Steelers.
- 30:50Speaker 2: Did you know this is only the second time in
- 30:52Speaker 2: history that a team has played a road game after
- 30:56Speaker 2: an international game?
- 30:58Speaker 4: Did not know that. How did it go the last time?
- 31:01Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 31:02Speaker 4: Okay.
- 31:02Speaker 7: Has that happened to the Jags?
- 31:05Speaker 2: I would assume it would probably be us.
- 31:07Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 31:08Speaker 7: Why not us?
- 31:10Speaker 6: Why not us?
- 31:10Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 31:11Speaker 2: I feel like it is a stealer's spot. But the
- 31:14Speaker 2: thing is, is that I just don't trust Aaron Rodgers, man.
- 31:16Speaker 2: The Colts are also getting Keenan Allen.
- 31:18Speaker 3: Back this week.
- 31:20Speaker 4: Same.
- 31:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 31:21Speaker 6: Pittsburgh has injury concerns, too, in the secondary. I feel
- 31:24Speaker 6: like the Colts' chances of keeping this close are winning outright.
- 31:28Speaker 7: Georgia Bean, what do you think, sweetie pie?
- 31:30Speaker 4: All right, dog's checking in. Yeah. The fact that the
- 31:33Speaker 4: dog is checking in, I think, leans me back to
- 31:35Speaker 4: the Colts, though. Yeah, that's right. Plus two and a half.
- 31:38Speaker 2: I think construction's on lunch, boys. We're getting lucky.
- 31:41Speaker 4: This is great. Bad news for Aaron Rodgers.
- 31:44Speaker 1: Dating back to 2022, Aaron Rodgers has started five games
- 31:48Speaker 1: on extended prep time coming off of a loss. His
- 31:51Speaker 1: teams are 0-5 ATS.
- 31:53Speaker 4: Yeah, now.
- 31:54Speaker 7: Aaron Rodgers is 87 years old.
- 31:56Speaker 4: So what is he doing with his extra time? I
- 31:58Speaker 4: thought he was a student of the game.
- 32:00Speaker 7: Yeah, doing drugs.
- 32:04Speaker 3: Kissing his computer wife.
- 32:06Speaker 6: His computer wife?
- 32:07Speaker 7: Yeah, probably cranking his hog. Who the hell knows?
- 32:10Speaker 3: His wife is literally Karen from SpongeBob.
- 32:12Speaker 4: I'm convinced. We don't know who it is, right?
- 32:19Speaker 3: It's a computer.
- 32:21Speaker 4: Okay.
- 32:21Speaker 6: Is this like that movie with Chalk Queen Phoenix and
- 32:24Speaker 6: he falls in love with Siri?
- 32:27Speaker 3: I think that that's exactly what's happening.
- 32:28Speaker 4: That's kind of been Kendra's theory all along with this.
- 32:33Speaker 6: Listen, all I know is, and I don't know this
- 32:35Speaker 6: from experience.
- 32:37Speaker 4: Okay.
- 32:37Speaker 6: But I know there are very, there are lifelike dolls
- 32:40Speaker 6: out there, you know?
- 32:41Speaker 2: Yes.
- 32:42Speaker 1: So it's only going to get worse with AI Emerson.
- 32:45Speaker 1: It's about to get really weird out there.
- 32:46Speaker 7: More like gay.
- 32:48Speaker 4: I got them. All right. Next Raiders, Patriots, Patriots minus
- 32:53Speaker 4: three and a half.
- 32:54Speaker 1: This is a fascinating game.
- 32:56Speaker 4: I love the Raiders this year.
- 32:58Speaker 3: Me too!
- 32:59Speaker 1: We are a Raiders podcast here. That is one of
- 33:02Speaker 1: our teams from the beginning of the season. We've been
- 33:04Speaker 1: talking about this team since May, people, okay?
- 33:06Speaker 3: They're so fun.
- 33:08Speaker 4: You're late to the party.
- 33:10Speaker 1: But the Patriots have dug themselves out of the mud
- 33:13Speaker 1: with a win over the Bills. I think this is
- 33:16Speaker 1: one of those games that's going to tell us a
- 33:18Speaker 1: lot about whoever comes out on top. Does the plus
- 33:21Speaker 1: three and a half on the Raiders feel too easy
- 33:25Speaker 1: to everyone out there? The Raiders are not only three
- 33:28Speaker 1: and one, they are four and oh ATS. They're the
- 33:31Speaker 1: only team to cover the spread every week this season
- 33:35Speaker 1: against the closing line. I feel like it's too easy.
- 33:40Speaker 6: Yeah. So is betting Drake made a throw a touchdown
- 33:44Speaker 6: or throw an interception rather.
- 33:46Speaker 7: To throw an interception.
- 33:48Speaker 1: Last week he had one. That was not on him.
- 33:50Speaker 1: Was that Romeo Dobbs?
- 33:52Speaker 4: I don't care.
- 33:52Speaker 7: I don't care who it's on. It's an interception.
- 33:56Speaker 4: Drake Bay.
- 33:57Speaker 7: Bet it, baby.
- 34:00Speaker 2: I know that the Patriots are on BetIR, but I
- 34:04Speaker 2: would like to nominate the Raiders for your consideration because
- 34:08Speaker 2: of a few things. One, we're getting points with a
- 34:11Speaker 2: team that's 4-0. And I get that the Patriots finally
- 34:15Speaker 2: won a.
- 34:15Speaker 3: Game last week.
- 34:16Speaker 2: But the thing is, is that when the Raiders opened
- 34:20Speaker 2: the season on the road in New England last year,
- 34:23Speaker 2: It was one of it. Was that the only game
- 34:24Speaker 2: they won last year? Did they win another game? But
- 34:26Speaker 2: they played really well here in New England. I don't
- 34:29Speaker 2: think that it's something that they have, you know, any
- 34:31Speaker 2: kind of weird reservation about being able to perform here
- 34:35Speaker 2: because they did it literally a year ago. The other
- 34:38Speaker 2: thing is that the Patriots, their injury report is terrible. disgusting.
- 34:44Speaker 2: Every single player is on it. Who is going to
- 34:47Speaker 2: be there starting running back this week? Is it going
- 34:48Speaker 2: to be Travion? Because he is not playing well. Josh
- 34:51Speaker 2: McDaniels doesn't seem like he can scheme anything right now.
- 34:54Speaker 2: And the Raiders are just rolling like Kirk cousins.
- 34:57Speaker 3: I get that.
- 34:58Speaker 2: He looks like his interceptions when they, when he has one,
- 35:00Speaker 2: they're ugly, but those tight ends are doing him insane favors.
- 35:04Speaker 2: I don't think that this is the time to fade
- 35:06Speaker 2: the Raiders, even though it seems like the Patriots have
- 35:08Speaker 2: gotten back on track here.
- 35:10Speaker 3: It's more so, once again, just the injury thing.
- 35:13Speaker 2: But I don't trust Vrabel to manage injuries the same
- 35:16Speaker 2: way that Kyle Shanahan is able to.
- 35:18Speaker 4: Nope, nope, nope.
- 35:20Speaker 6: I'm totally with you. That horny toad is distracted. This
- 35:24Speaker 6: is a letdown spot. Raiders 3-1. You're getting more than
- 35:27Speaker 6: a field goal against a Patriots team. As you have
- 35:29Speaker 6: already mentioned, Kendra, with defensive injury concerns, that makes Las Vegas...
- 35:34Speaker 6: An attractive underdog for me.
- 35:36Speaker 2: And still no A.J.
- 35:37Speaker 3: Brown, so can they put up points?
- 35:39Speaker 4: Say it, BK, you coward. Say it. Go ahead. Don't
- 35:42Speaker 4: be moaning and groaning. I'm going to.
- 35:43Speaker 1: I just didn't want to interrupt anybody. I am using
- 35:46Speaker 1: my veto on this. Gosh, that's such a fraud. I
- 35:50Speaker 1: think the pads to the right side here. And I
- 35:52Speaker 1: love the Raiders, but this kind of feels like if
- 35:57Speaker 1: you're on the Raiders now, you're just too late to
- 35:59Speaker 1: the party, that.
- 36:01Speaker 4: We can sense an implosion game coming. You're getting points.
- 36:04Speaker 1: I get it, but the Raiders defense. So one of
- 36:07Speaker 1: the things that has been vulnerable for them, 29th and
- 36:11Speaker 1: red zone defense, that's really helpful for the Patriots. They
- 36:15Speaker 1: cannot score in the red zone. They're finally going to
- 36:17Speaker 1: go up against the defense that will just let anybody
- 36:19Speaker 1: do it.
- 36:20Speaker 4: That's helpful.
- 36:21Speaker 1: Mike Rabel, 17 and four ATS in October since 2020,
- 36:25Speaker 1: he's the most profitable coach.
- 36:27Speaker 4: In the NFL.
- 36:28Speaker 1: Their injury report was thick last week against a better
- 36:31Speaker 1: team in the Buffalo bills. I think this is a
- 36:34Speaker 1: good time to buy the New England Patriots.
- 36:36Speaker 4: I like the Pats.
- 36:37Speaker 2: Can I give out another play?
- 36:39Speaker 7: Being cocktober, dude.
- 36:41Speaker 4: I didn't even think about that.
- 36:45Speaker 2: I'm going to give out Cody White over one and
- 36:47Speaker 2: a half receptions. And I wanted Efton Chisholm's receptions, but
- 36:51Speaker 2: they're unavailable. So I'm going to go with him to
- 36:54Speaker 2: have a touchdown as well. Vrabel in his press conferences
- 36:56Speaker 2: this week was very vocal about how disrespected Efton Chisholm
- 37:00Speaker 2: was after that.
- 37:01Speaker 3: Touchdown, which.
- 37:03Speaker 2: I mean, to be honest, like he is just a
- 37:06Speaker 2: glorified practice squad guy, not to be a dick.
- 37:08Speaker 3: It's true.
- 37:09Speaker 2: So I think that they're probably going to try to
- 37:10Speaker 2: go back to the well. They don't really have a
- 37:12Speaker 2: ton of other options anyway. So I put a very, very, very,
- 37:15Speaker 2: very teeny tiny sprinkle on an Efton Chisholm anytime touchdown
- 37:17Speaker 2: just because there weren't other options for me. But I
- 37:19Speaker 2: do love Cody White over one and a half receptions.
- 37:23Speaker 1: Have they already sold out of Efton Chisholm jerseys at
- 37:25Speaker 1: the team shop?
- 37:26Speaker 4: It's just such a New England guy.
- 37:29Speaker 3: Really, he is.
- 37:30Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 37:31Speaker 4: Browns-Jets, Jets minus two and a half.
- 37:34Speaker 1: Back at home after playing the last two on the road,
- 37:36Speaker 1: the Browns off of a Thursday night tilt against Pittsburgh.
- 37:40Speaker 1: This game should be gross in theory, but the Browns
- 37:43Speaker 1: have some mojo. Are we buying the Watson resurgence?
- 37:49Speaker 3: I don't know. I think I'm kind of torn on him.
- 37:51Speaker 4: You're the Browns girl on the show.
- 37:54Speaker 2: I am, but I think that I'm kind of torn
- 37:56Speaker 2: on him and Geno in the same way.
- 37:58Speaker 3: I feel like I'm just waiting for both of them
- 38:00Speaker 3: to implode.
- 38:01Speaker 4: Emerson, talk us into a side. I'm really twisted up
- 38:05Speaker 4: on this game.
- 38:06Speaker 1: I don't want to buy high on the Browns. I
- 38:09Speaker 1: certainly don't want to lay points with the Jets.
- 38:11Speaker 4: I know, man. I'm in the middle with this one.
- 38:14Speaker 6: Does this have all the makings of one of those
- 38:16Speaker 6: classic rock fights for you guys? It kind of feels
- 38:21Speaker 6: like points are going to be at a premium here.
- 38:24Speaker 6: I think I would take the Browns. Plus, what do
- 38:27Speaker 6: we have the number as?
- 38:27Speaker 7: One and a half?
- 38:28Speaker 4: Two and a half.
- 38:29Speaker 1: It is one and a half, so money coming in
- 38:31Speaker 1: on the Browns. If there's still a two and a
- 38:34Speaker 1: half out there on the Browns, I do think that
- 38:36Speaker 1: that's a good bet. I would be okay with putting
- 38:38Speaker 1: the Browns in the contest.
- 38:40Speaker 6: Yeah, it's freaking disgusting, but I don't trust either offense
- 38:45Speaker 6: to run away with this thing.
- 38:47Speaker 2: I like the under, and I also have Geno Smith
- 38:49Speaker 2: over ten and a half rushing yards.
- 38:51Speaker 3: He's averaging nine. Browns will get after him. He's going
- 38:53Speaker 3: to have to run around a bit.
- 38:54Speaker 4: All right.
- 38:55Speaker 1: I want to remind everybody out there that we have
- 38:57Speaker 1: one of the five that are in contests.
- 38:59Speaker 4: We started hot.
- 39:01Speaker 7: Yeah, we did.
- 39:02Speaker 4: We've really cooled off since then.
- 39:04Speaker 7: Remind everyone, too. It's the peg of the week.
- 39:06Speaker 2: This isn't home for the Browns, though.
- 39:09Speaker 3: If this were home, I think I'd feel differently.
- 39:12Speaker 4: Well, for sure. The Browns at home are the Browns
- 39:14Speaker 4: of the dog pounder. Different team. I don't want to
- 39:17Speaker 4: buy high on Cleveland. I don't. The Jets are a
- 39:21Speaker 4: sketchy bunch.
- 39:22Speaker 6: Last time I checked, I think 84% of the bats
- 39:25Speaker 6: were backing the Browns to cover.
- 39:28Speaker 4: And that is not.
- 39:30Speaker 1: I think the two and a half is a good
- 39:31Speaker 1: number on the Browns. This is where I'm twisted up.
- 39:34Speaker 1: That is a good, if that is out there, that
- 39:36Speaker 1: is a good solid bet to make per the numbers. However,
- 39:40Speaker 1: you do not want to bet the Browns when they're
- 39:41Speaker 1: getting 80% of the bets.
- 39:43Speaker 4: That is not a way to make money in this
- 39:45Speaker 4: betting life. Let's go to the.
- 39:47Speaker 1: Giants at the Commanders. Commanders minus three and a half.
- 39:51Speaker 1: This is the line that makes the least sense of
- 39:54Speaker 1: all the lines this week. Jaden Daniels is on the
- 39:56Speaker 1: mend here. He's going to play. He practiced in full
- 39:58Speaker 1: on Wednesday. The left arm is going to be in
- 40:01Speaker 1: a brace. I'm not sure how that's going to limit him.
- 40:03Speaker 1: He's certainly not going to be at 100%. The guy
- 40:06Speaker 1: can't land on one of his arms.
- 40:08Speaker 4: The Giants.
- 40:09Speaker 1: have a chance to move to four and one here.
- 40:11Speaker 1: And they're catching three and a half points in a
- 40:13Speaker 1: division game against the team. That's flying back from London.
- 40:17Speaker 1: I don't get this.
- 40:19Speaker 3: You and me, we're here.
- 40:20Speaker 1: I pride myself on getting every number. It's like one
- 40:23Speaker 1: thing that I do well in life is understanding how
- 40:27Speaker 1: every line lands where it is.
- 40:29Speaker 4: And this one baffles me.
- 40:32Speaker 2: I had the exact same thought. I'm all over the Giants.
- 40:36Speaker 2: Love the Giants this week. I get that they are
- 40:40Speaker 2: having some serious question marks with Jameis, but this feels
- 40:44Speaker 2: like a Giants spot. Also, the Commanders, breaking news, they
- 40:48Speaker 2: have a substation next to their field.
- 40:52Speaker 4: Really?
- 40:53Speaker 3: Yes.
- 40:54Speaker 4: That explains a lot.
- 40:55Speaker 3: It does.
- 40:56Speaker 4: What do you mean?
- 40:57Speaker 7: What are we talking about?
- 40:58Speaker 2: You know how the 49ers have the substation that's causing
- 41:01Speaker 2: all of their injuries?
- 41:04Speaker 4: No, I don't.
- 41:07Speaker 3: Oh, Emerson.
- 41:09Speaker 6: Maybe I've been reading my book too much and not
- 41:12Speaker 6: up on the news. Can you just tell me real quick?
- 41:16Speaker 4: It's only been out there for like two years, Emerson.
- 41:19Speaker 2: The electromagnetic fields are causing all of the 49ers players
- 41:24Speaker 2: for their muscle.
- 41:25Speaker 3: To just fall off the bone.
- 41:27Speaker 5: Oh.
- 41:28Speaker 2: So the commanders also have a ton of injuries and
- 41:32Speaker 2: so many injuries. I put the injury report in our notes,
- 41:35Speaker 2: but they have so many injuries.
- 41:36Speaker 3: I am all over the Giants.
- 41:38Speaker 2: I know that it is yucky, but I am with Kravitz.
- 41:41Speaker 3: Are we nominating the Giants?
- 41:43Speaker 4: Yeah, I like it. I like it.
- 41:45Speaker 6: What's the number at?
- 41:46Speaker 7: Three and a half?
- 41:47Speaker 3: Three and a half.
- 41:48Speaker 7: Yeah, absolutely.
- 41:49Speaker 6: More than a field goal in a divisional game?
- 41:53Speaker 7: That's appealing.
- 41:54Speaker 3: Especially because.
- 41:56Speaker 6: Yeah, go ahead.
- 41:56Speaker 2: Jaden does not play well against the Giants in his career.
- 42:01Speaker 4: And they don't play well at home as favorites.
- 42:03Speaker 1: Washington, 39-58-3 against the spread as a home favorite since 2000.
- 42:08Speaker 1: That is the worst mark in the NFL. Profitable strategy
- 42:12Speaker 1: to fade the Commanders as favorites at home.
- 42:15Speaker 6: Is he just going to have, and this is a
- 42:18Speaker 6: question from a guy who has him in a couple
- 42:19Speaker 6: of fantasy leagues as well. Is he going to have
- 42:21Speaker 6: just like a massive brace on that non-throwing arm? Like
- 42:24Speaker 6: one of the ones that Gronk used to wear?
- 42:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 42:26Speaker 1: You remember Kurt Warner? I think he's the most vivid
- 42:30Speaker 1: memory years ago wearing.
- 42:33Speaker 4: That big brace. Yeah.
- 42:35Speaker 2: But if I'm not mistaken, the brace has a curve
- 42:37Speaker 2: to it. Which means he can't run properly.
- 42:41Speaker 6: Yeah, girl.
- 42:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 42:42Speaker 7: You need a little curve in there.
- 42:44Speaker 2: It has to keep it bent so that it prevents
- 42:46Speaker 2: him from getting another. Yeah.
- 42:48Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 42:49Speaker 3: Yep. Yeah, girl.
- 42:50Speaker 4: Now you're talking his language.
- 42:52Speaker 1: All right, let's move to the next one. We got
- 42:54Speaker 1: two games in pocket here. Bucks plus nine and a half.
- 42:57Speaker 1: Giants plus three and a half. The dogs are barking.
- 43:00Speaker 1: Vikings at Saints. Saints plus one and a half. The
- 43:05Speaker 1: dog is back. The saints had the big dome coming
- 43:09Speaker 1: on Monday night football. They got waxed by the Atlanta Falcons.
- 43:13Speaker 1: If you can't get up for that game, what makes
- 43:15Speaker 1: us think you're going to get up for a 1
- 43:17Speaker 1: PM against Kyler Murray and the Vikings. But guys, before
- 43:20Speaker 1: you chime in, I bet this game at halftime on
- 43:24Speaker 1: Monday night football.
- 43:25Speaker 4: This is such.
- 43:26Speaker 1: A saints spot embarrassed in prime time against a team
- 43:33Speaker 1: with they're perhaps the worst. 4-0 team of my lifetime.
- 43:37Speaker 1: Second worst success rate on offense in the league. 156
- 43:41Speaker 1: pass yards per game. Worst in the NFL. Yes, their
- 43:44Speaker 1: defensive numbers look great. They've gone up against the Packers,
- 43:48Speaker 1: the Bucks, and the Dolphins, and the Bears in a rainstorm.
- 43:51Speaker 1: The Saints are my favorite nominee.
- 43:55Speaker 4: Plus one and a half. Veto.
- 43:58Speaker 6: Yeah, I don't know, man.
- 44:01Speaker 2: Dude, the Saints do not play well at home. I'm
- 44:04Speaker 2: sorry you would think with an environment like that, they
- 44:06Speaker 2: would be a better home team. But if you look
- 44:08Speaker 2: at their injury report, it's disgusting as well. Like Caden Ellis,
- 44:11Speaker 2: Noah Fant, Devon Godshout, Anthony Jennings was on there this week.
- 44:15Speaker 2: Alvin Kamara, Chris Olave, Tyler Shuck was limited. Like, I
- 44:17Speaker 2: don't want anything to do with that. I know that
- 44:20Speaker 2: the Vikings are due for a come-to-Jesus moment, but good Lord.
- 44:22Speaker 3: This is not.
- 44:24Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean, Minnesota still has injury concerns. It's a pretty...
- 44:29Speaker 6: Pretty decent defense, which I trust way more than the Saints.
- 44:33Speaker 6: I'm leaning towards Minnesota covering here.
- 44:36Speaker 2: Vikings are nothing, but I'm vetoing this crap.
- 44:39Speaker 3: Goodbye.
- 44:39Speaker 4: Trust is overrated.
- 44:42Speaker 1: Home dogs against undefeated teams last 172 times, 61% against
- 44:48Speaker 1: the spread. That would be the New Orleans Saints.
- 44:51Speaker 7: Is Jefferson going to be available?
- 44:54Speaker 2: He, I did put his status here.
- 44:57Speaker 3: He was limited in practice. So I would assume.
- 44:59Speaker 4: Yes.
- 44:59Speaker 2: Okay.
- 45:01Speaker 6: I mean, New Orleans just surrendered 45 fricking points, right?
- 45:04Speaker 6: To Atlanta.
- 45:05Speaker 4: But I mean, that was against the best team in
- 45:06Speaker 4: the NFL.
- 45:07Speaker 3: Oh my God.
- 45:09Speaker 6: Shut up, dude.
- 45:11Speaker 7: What's going on with you?
- 45:13Speaker 4: Next.
- 45:15Speaker 6: Atlanta's won us some money here on this show though.
- 45:19Speaker 7: I mean, I'll give you that.
- 45:21Speaker 3: And cost us some money.
- 45:23Speaker 4: You know what's crazy about the Falcons?
- 45:25Speaker 1: Is that you all called me a fucking lunatic in
- 45:27Speaker 1: the offseason when I bought this team.
- 45:30Speaker 4: And they've been the best team in the NFL the
- 45:31Speaker 4: last two weeks.
- 45:32Speaker 7: Dude, they haven't been the best team.
- 45:33Speaker 6: They have been the best team in the NFL the
- 45:36Speaker 6: last two weeks.
- 45:37Speaker 4: That is undeniable.
- 45:38Speaker 7: Okay, let's go the first four weeks of the season.
- 45:41Speaker 7: It's the Jaguars.
- 45:42Speaker 6: All right, whatever. Let's go the next game.
- 45:44Speaker 4: Broncos, Chargers.
- 45:45Speaker 1: Chargers plus three and a half is my favorite moment
- 45:48Speaker 1: of the show. 42 and a half is the total.
- 45:51Speaker 1: Two of the least healthy teams going head to head
- 45:54Speaker 1: here in the late window. The Broncos are likely without
- 45:56Speaker 1: Patrick Sertan and Riley Moss in the secondary.
- 45:59Speaker 4: That's a really important part of their overall team success.
- 46:03Speaker 1: And the Chargers, shockingly, are without their two offensive linemen
- 46:08Speaker 1: that are one of the keys to their success when
- 46:10Speaker 1: they have it, which they haven't had any this year.
- 46:12Speaker 1: Rashawn Slater, Joe Alt, they're going to be out. The
- 46:14Speaker 1: Chargers have been disgustingly bad. But I will remind you,
- 46:18Speaker 1: before anybody tries to sell me on the Broncos, That
- 46:21Speaker 1: road Bo Nix is not good. The Broncos are plus
- 46:25Speaker 1: 11 this year at home. They are minus 31 on
- 46:28Speaker 1: the road. Chargers or nothing, people.
- 46:32Speaker 2: Dude, have you seen the Chargers injury report, dude?
- 46:36Speaker 4: Oh, it's disgusting. Both of them.
- 46:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 46:38Speaker 7: Oh, God.
- 46:41Speaker 6: I mean, dude, if this, yeah, if this was home,
- 46:43Speaker 6: like Bo Nix and the mile high is so different
- 46:47Speaker 6: than Bo Nix on the road.
- 46:49Speaker 1: Oh, I will bet Bo Nix all day long with
- 46:52Speaker 1: every dollar in my account when he's at mile high,
- 46:55Speaker 1: but I want no part of the road and the chargers.
- 46:57Speaker 4: I get it. This is one.
- 47:00Speaker 1: I like the chargers. I bet the chargers. I'm not
- 47:03Speaker 1: sure I want to put my reputation on the chargers.
- 47:06Speaker 1: So I like this as a contest play, but I mean,
- 47:09Speaker 1: I've already been vetoed once and, um, I, I'm not
- 47:13Speaker 1: going to fight for this one, but I do, I
- 47:15Speaker 1: do like the chargers this week.
- 47:17Speaker 2: I just, I've bet on the chargers so much. I like, yeah,
- 47:22Speaker 2: they're just so hurt.
- 47:23Speaker 3: How are they going to put up points?
- 47:24Speaker 4: That's my game away. I will say they are a
- 47:27Speaker 4: non cover away from, from prison for me.
- 47:30Speaker 6: Yeah, dude.
- 47:30Speaker 2: Same.
- 47:31Speaker 7: I hate this team. I've said it multiple times that
- 47:34Speaker 7: I've joined you guys like this season.
- 47:36Speaker 6: I can't stand them. The best thing about that team,
- 47:40Speaker 6: as I've also said, almost every week, I know where
- 47:42Speaker 6: you're going with this are the cutaways of Madison beer.
- 47:45Speaker 6: Jumping up and down in her little suite in LA.
- 47:52Speaker 7: That's it.
- 47:53Speaker 6: Other than that, all of these guys on the Chargers roster,
- 47:58Speaker 6: they are all frauds. They are frauds. This team is
- 48:02Speaker 6: a fraud. They are all cowards.
- 48:06Speaker 7: And I am sick of them taking my money.
- 48:09Speaker 3: You're a boob guy, aren't you?
- 48:11Speaker 7: I'm a whatever I can get guy.
- 48:14Speaker 6: Fair.
- 48:14Speaker 7: You know? Doesn't matter the time of the month, Kendra.
- 48:18Speaker 7: If wifey wants it, wifey will get it.
- 48:20Speaker 6: If she came in right now and said, get off
- 48:21Speaker 6: the podcast, let's make love, I would do it.
- 48:25Speaker 3: I think that we would encourage you.
- 48:27Speaker 4: Absolutely. We support that decision.
- 48:30Speaker 7: That's why I love you guys. And I know Gifford
- 48:33Speaker 7: would support me. I know EZE would support me. Dude,
- 48:37Speaker 7: it's natural. You just want it.
- 48:40Speaker 4: Oh, all right.
- 48:41Speaker 6: So I don't, yeah, sorry, dude. My lost my train
- 48:44Speaker 6: of thought thinking of my wife naked.
- 48:47Speaker 1: Justin Herbert and Bo Nix have faced each other three times.
- 48:51Speaker 1: The chargers are three and O against the spread in
- 48:54Speaker 1: those situations, Justin Herbert and Bo Nix.
- 48:57Speaker 4: So let's, um, So no, no on the chargers. I just,
- 49:01Speaker 4: I don't know. We have three, we need three. We
- 49:04Speaker 4: need three more people. We're running out of games. Lions, Cardinals,
- 49:09Speaker 4: Cardinals are plus five and a half.
- 49:11Speaker 1: The Lions off of a road loss in prime time
- 49:14Speaker 1: to the Carolina Panthers. What a sweet victory that was
- 49:17Speaker 1: for yours. Truly Cardinals off of a road loss. loss
- 49:20Speaker 1: to Jameis and the Giants. This is a double buy
- 49:23Speaker 1: low here. The Lions have a buy week on deck,
- 49:25Speaker 1: so I'm sure they're going to want to empty the
- 49:27Speaker 1: clip and get a win here. Any takers or are
- 49:31Speaker 1: we backing the birds?
- 49:33Speaker 3: I could be convinced on the Lions.
- 49:37Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 49:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 49:38Speaker 6: I mean, Arizona does have some offensive line concerns, right?
- 49:42Speaker 1: Harris Johnson is out for the game. He is easily
- 49:45Speaker 1: their best offensive lineman and the Lions defense is bad,
- 49:49Speaker 1: but they do get after the quarterback pressure. Yeah, they
- 49:52Speaker 1: are number two in the league in sacks. So this
- 49:55Speaker 1: could be a bad matchup for Arizona.
- 49:57Speaker 2: Yeah. I also just don't know how the Cardinals are
- 49:59Speaker 2: going to keep up with the Lions scoring wise. That's
- 50:01Speaker 2: the biggest difference for me here.
- 50:03Speaker 1: So here's, here's how the Lions defense is atrocious. They
- 50:07Speaker 1: allow 32 points per game. But they are dead last
- 50:10Speaker 1: against tight ends in the NFL.
- 50:12Speaker 4: Trey McBride.
- 50:12Speaker 1: Yeah, I think this is more of a Trey McBride
- 50:16Speaker 1: McBride props game than anything else.
- 50:19Speaker 4: I do like the Cardinals, but I need that six.
- 50:24Speaker 4: I'm not bad. Five and a half.
- 50:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 50:25Speaker 7: Has this gone from four and a half to five
- 50:27Speaker 7: and a half? I think like over.
- 50:28Speaker 4: Four and a half in the contest.
- 50:30Speaker 1: So if we're taking the Lions, we are getting the
- 50:32Speaker 1: best of it for a contest play.
- 50:36Speaker 7: Yeah, I like the Lions at four and a half.
- 50:39Speaker 4: I'll do that. I'll allow it.
- 50:44Speaker 2: I also have Tesla over two and a half receptions.
- 50:48Speaker 3: His catches have gone up every week.
- 50:50Speaker 6: Week one, zero.
- 50:50Speaker 3: Week two, two. Week three, three.
- 50:52Speaker 2: Week four and week four catches. And he had a
- 50:54Speaker 2: recalled touchdown last week. So I think they try and
- 50:56Speaker 2: feed him this week.
- 50:57Speaker 7: Good get right spot for Detroit boys and lady.
- 51:01Speaker 3: Yes, lady boy.
- 51:02Speaker 4: I'll go to Thailand. All right. We got a third
- 51:06Speaker 4: one in there. We got two left. We'll get the
- 51:08Speaker 4: bucks plus.
- 51:09Speaker 1: Nine and a half. The giants plus three and a half.
- 51:10Speaker 1: The lions minus four and a half, four, nine, 49ers
- 51:14Speaker 1: Seahawks Seahawks laying two and a half at home. Total
- 51:17Speaker 1: sitting at 45 and a half.
- 51:18Speaker 4: This is a big one. Niners.
- 51:20Speaker 1: One of three unbeaten teams in the NFL. Brock Purdy
- 51:23Speaker 1: looks like an MVP. That was one that we handed
- 51:25Speaker 1: out in the off season as well. Historic levels of efficiency,
- 51:29Speaker 1: but the Seahawks are allowing just one 44 through the
- 51:32Speaker 1: air per game.
- 51:34Speaker 4: This is strength.
- 51:35Speaker 1: On strength, Shanahan McDonald.
- 51:38Speaker 4: Who do we like?
- 51:41Speaker 2: I haven't bet it, but I think Seattle is the
- 51:45Speaker 2: answer here.
- 51:46Speaker 3: I got got by the 49ers last week with the.
- 51:48Speaker 2: Broncos, and their injuries do have to catch up to
- 51:52Speaker 2: them at some point, but it's like the coaching mismatch
- 51:55Speaker 2: here for me.
- 51:55Speaker 3: For some reason.
- 51:58Speaker 2: Shanahan cannot play this Eagles team well. I don't know
- 52:02Speaker 2: what it is. He does not perform well against this
- 52:06Speaker 2: version of.
- 52:07Speaker 3: The Seattle Seahawks.
- 52:08Speaker 2: So I don't know how you fade the consistency of
- 52:11Speaker 2: that stat alone. And to be honest, Seattle has to
- 52:16Speaker 2: start on an upward trajectory at some point. Sam Darnold's back.
- 52:20Speaker 2: They need to get back on track. I know that
- 52:22Speaker 2: they also have some injuries, but this defense against this
- 52:25Speaker 2: many injuries, it's not like... the Broncos defense who got
- 52:29Speaker 2: super injured last week and just couldn't, you know, hold
- 52:31Speaker 2: out towards the end of the game. This is a
- 52:33Speaker 2: well-coached and deep, deep team on the depth chart.
- 52:38Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 52:39Speaker 2: So I think that it's, I don't, I haven't bet
- 52:41Speaker 2: this game, but it's Seattle or nothing for me. I
- 52:43Speaker 2: very much could be convinced to back the Seahawks here.
- 52:45Speaker 7: Okay, I agree with her. And let me give you
- 52:48Speaker 7: guys a little sneak peek.
- 52:49Speaker 6: One of my commercials that will be airing this weekend,
- 52:52Speaker 6: I update it every week with a new game.
- 52:54Speaker 7: And this week, one of.
- 52:55Speaker 4: My commercial spots. You can't wait to watch it 1,700 times.
- 52:58Speaker 6: Yeah, I know you're watching it pantless, buddy. So one
- 53:03Speaker 6: of the spots I read was this, 3-2-1. The Niners
- 53:06Speaker 6: are off to an unbeaten start while also going 3-1
- 53:09Speaker 6: against the spread. Now they face Seattle, who they've struggled
- 53:12Speaker 6: with as of late, going 1-3 straight up. And against
- 53:16Speaker 6: the spread in their last four matchups. So I am
- 53:20Speaker 6: going Seattle.
- 53:21Speaker 4: Okay.
- 53:23Speaker 3: You know what? We can come by off for a moment.
- 53:25Speaker 4: Yeah, we are. We are Kumbaya for a moment. I
- 53:29Speaker 4: agree with both of you. Okay.
- 53:31Speaker 2: I was going to say if me, if you don't
- 53:33Speaker 2: like this and you're on the edge, I would be
- 53:35Speaker 2: willing to give you your Falcons if you met us
- 53:37Speaker 2: in the middle, but we all agree.
- 53:39Speaker 4: Oh, I should have negotiated then.
- 53:41Speaker 2: Well, this is why that's my job on this podcast
- 53:44Speaker 2: and not yours.
- 53:45Speaker 7: God, it's just one second. I totally forgot to read
- 53:48Speaker 7: the promo. 3, 2, 1.
- 53:49Speaker 6: Right now, new DraftKings Sportsbook customers bet $ 5 and get
- 53:52Speaker 6: $ 150 in total bonus bets. Just download the app and
- 53:55Speaker 6: use the promo code when you sign up.
- 53:57Speaker 7: The crown is yours.
- 53:58Speaker 1: And if you miss that, I'll be back in five
- 54:01Speaker 1: minutes with this ad read again.
- 54:03Speaker 3: Period.
- 54:04Speaker 7: Buckle up. Grab the KY jelly.
- 54:06Speaker 1: One other thing that I wanted to add to the cap,
- 54:08Speaker 1: not that we need to... beat a dead horse here.
- 54:11Speaker 1: Cause we're on the Seahawks minus two and a half.
- 54:14Speaker 1: That is making its way into our contest. This is
- 54:17Speaker 1: the first true road game for San Francisco this year.
- 54:20Speaker 1: They had the Australia game, which the Rams basically said,
- 54:23Speaker 1: we forgot how to travel.
- 54:26Speaker 4: They handed the game.
- 54:28Speaker 1: They have admitted that then they had the dolphins, the
- 54:31Speaker 1: Cardinals and the Broncos all at home. It's just, it's
- 54:34Speaker 1: felt too easy for them. They haven't gotten punched in
- 54:37Speaker 1: the mouth yet. And there is an injury on this
- 54:39Speaker 1: team that I don't think is reflected in the point spread.
- 54:42Speaker 4: That is huge.
- 54:43Speaker 3: I know. I know what you're going to say. Kyle.
- 54:47Speaker 1: Kyle is checking this offense. Him not being there is
- 54:49Speaker 1: going to hurt this run game. Big time league. High 42%
- 54:53Speaker 1: of their drives ended in touchdowns. Not going to happen
- 54:56Speaker 1: on the road in Seattle. I just wonder how they
- 54:58Speaker 1: respond to that. I like the Seahawks as well. Let's
- 55:01Speaker 1: move to Sunday night football. Ravens at Falcons. Falcons are
- 55:06Speaker 1: now three and a half point favorites. The contest line
- 55:08Speaker 1: is plus two and a half. This is a gift
- 55:10Speaker 1: from the gods. Lamar Jackson status is up in the air.
- 55:13Speaker 1: He's probably not going to play. The line tells us
- 55:16Speaker 1: he's not playing in this game. So, I mean, do
- 55:19Speaker 1: I even need to sell anyone on this? Plus Michael
- 55:22Speaker 1: Penix and Bijan Robinson in primetime. The guy averages 145 scrimmage.
- 55:28Speaker 4: Yards per game in primetime. Insane numbers. He's awesome. They're awesome.
- 55:34Speaker 4: All of the Falcons.
- 55:35Speaker 3: You can have it.
- 55:37Speaker 7: Yeah, I'm, I'm, I'm fine with it.
- 55:40Speaker 1: I am.
- 55:40Speaker 6: Falcons have scored 80 points their last two games and
- 55:43Speaker 6: especially without like Lamar Jackson.
- 55:45Speaker 5: Okay.
- 55:45Speaker 4: I will say I'm not betting the Falcons at minus
- 55:48Speaker 4: three and a half.
- 55:48Speaker 1: This is a, this is a gift. This is a
- 55:50Speaker 1: contest gift. I wish that I had gotten in on
- 55:53Speaker 1: this early. I am not personally at least yet betting
- 55:57Speaker 1: on this football game, but this is just.
- 55:59Speaker 4: A contest gift.
- 56:01Speaker 2: For those of you who are watching this podcast and
- 56:03Speaker 2: not listening to it, you just saw me yell at
- 56:07Speaker 2: the dog because I left my little tiny leftover bit
- 56:10Speaker 2: of matcha in the windowsill and I just heard him
- 56:13Speaker 2: licking it. And you can see him scamper and run
- 56:16Speaker 2: across the couch in the background. If you rewind this,
- 56:18Speaker 2: you literally see me like cuss at him and then
- 56:21Speaker 2: him just run across the.
- 56:22Speaker 3: Couch in the back.
- 56:23Speaker 4: Big, big dog episode.
- 56:25Speaker 3: Big dog episode.
- 56:27Speaker 7: A lot of tongue punching. That's for sure.
- 56:30Speaker 1: All right, we've got our five Bills Rams on Monday
- 56:32Speaker 1: Night Football. The Rams are three-point favorites, sky-high total at 54.5.
- 56:37Speaker 1: Could be a Super Bowl preview. We'll save it for
- 56:39Speaker 1: Monday's show. Our contest is full. Make sure that you're
- 56:42Speaker 1: listening on Monday. We'll give a same-game parlay and a
- 56:45Speaker 1: bet for that game. Let's recap the action presented by DraftKings,
- 56:52Speaker 1: where the crown is yours. We've got the Bucs, plus
- 56:55Speaker 1: 9.5 on Thursday Night Football. Giants, plus 3.5. on the

- 57:05Speaker 1: half at home against their division rival, San Francisco 49ers
- 57:08Speaker 1: and the Falcons on Sunday night football with a gift
- 57:12Speaker 1: at plus two and a half, go and find it
- 57:14Speaker 1: on draft Kings where the crown is yours.
- 57:17Speaker 4: You have another read. You want to throw our way
- 57:19Speaker 4: Emerson before we cut you loose.
- 57:21Speaker 7: I absolutely do not.
- 57:23Speaker 6: Plenty of reads that'll be on your television. And I'm
- 57:26Speaker 6: very excited to be in London. I will send you
- 57:29Speaker 6: guys updates on Sunday as I'm sitting in the stands
- 57:34Speaker 6: watching our boys.
- 57:35Speaker 3: Where are you staying? I have lots of London recs.
- 57:40Speaker 6: I'm staying in some Marriott hotel because I'm a points whore.
- 57:45Speaker 3: Okay.
- 57:46Speaker 6: And what I like about this hotel that I'm staying
- 57:48Speaker 6: in is- Oh, I'm sorry. I was about to really
- 57:52Speaker 6: dive into how I like the hotel I'm at because
- 57:55Speaker 6: the sauna and cold plunge is included in your stay.
- 57:58Speaker 6: You don't have to pay extra for the spa stuff.
- 58:00Speaker 6: And so I can sit in the sauna and make friends.
- 58:03Speaker 6: But yeah, I'm around that main park. I've only been
- 58:06Speaker 6: to London once and I had to do a bunch
- 58:07Speaker 6: of wedding shit when I was there. So tomorrow, I'm
- 58:10Speaker 6: just going to be hitting the ground running. But yeah,
- 58:12Speaker 6: text me.
- 58:13Speaker 3: Yeah, I've gone to the Rex. I lived there.
- 58:15Speaker 7: We're going to go.
- 58:17Speaker 6: My friend who I'm going with, we're going to a
- 58:19Speaker 6: Brentford game, but it's an away game.
- 58:21Speaker 3: So we're going to go to a Brentford game.
- 58:23Speaker 6: Dude, we're going to go to Birmingham and watch him
- 58:25Speaker 6: just absolutely destroy Aston Villa on Saturday.
- 58:31Speaker 7: Yeah, I can't wait, dude. Yeah, thanks so much, guys.
- 58:34Speaker 7: I really appreciate it.
- 58:35Speaker 1: Have fun, and we love you, too, and enjoy your
