- 1:20Speaker 3: fun fall and they a wir whizz So yeah, it's
- 1:23Speaker 3: too bad, But what did you expect? It's a podcast
- 1:27Speaker 3: call twenty five whistles twenty wine.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Wait what Welcome to the show everybody. I just want
- 1:35Speaker 1: to say that if you can't do a postgame interview ever,
- 1:41Speaker 1: you're not an athlete. So if you're a horse, you're
- 1:43Speaker 1: not an athlete. Well you're not. No, the Kentucky Derby
- 1:47Speaker 1: is not a sport. That's not sport. If you were
- 1:50Speaker 1: making the jockeys famous and it was all about all
- 1:53Speaker 1: the horses were even and it's the best jockey, that's
- 1:56Speaker 1: not sport. And I get it. It's an event. It's fine,
- 1:59Speaker 1: you have a getdressed up in the big old hats.
- 2:01Speaker 1: They go out and do the thing. But you can't
- 2:02Speaker 1: if you don't even know the concept of a trophy,
- 2:04Speaker 1: or if you can't even understand what winning is or
- 2:07Speaker 1: speak English, No, because that's not that's racist. No, I
- 2:10Speaker 1: mean like speak because other countries play soccer and don't.
- 2:13Speaker 4: It's because in my mind I was thinking of a horse.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Yeah, you mean speak a language like a human language. Yeah. Again,
- 2:20Speaker 1: if you can't hold the trophy, that's not a sport.
- 2:23Speaker 4: But doesn't the horse train?
- 2:25Speaker 1: The horse doesn't know what training is or understand the
- 2:27Speaker 1: concept of it. The horses gets on runs, So they're like,
- 2:30Speaker 1: it takes strategy, It takes incredible discipline. Yeah, from the jockey.
- 2:34Speaker 1: But the jockey's not who we're making famous.
- 2:36Speaker 4: What does the jock even do?
- 2:37Speaker 1: Rides just rides it, rides the animal. WHI animal for glory?
- 2:43Speaker 5: He does?
- 2:43Speaker 1: I think the jockey knows the horse and knows when
- 2:46Speaker 1: to open the horse up. I grew up near Oakland Racetrack,
- 2:49Speaker 1: so we started going to the races when I was
- 2:51Speaker 1: like ten years old. Sneak in. Can't make a bet
- 2:55Speaker 1: unless you're eighteen, but you get people to make bets
- 2:58Speaker 1: for you as kids. They do it all the time.
- 3:00Speaker 4: People. Yeah, that's like buying beer, like you don't drink,
- 3:02Speaker 4: but you don't know the struggle of like trying to
- 3:03Speaker 4: find someone to buy beer for you same.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Deal, not exactly the same deal. But yes, I feel you.
- 3:09Speaker 1: But yeah, I feel like that's not a real sport.
- 3:12Speaker 4: Huh.
- 3:12Speaker 1: I think horse racing used to be one of the
- 3:15Speaker 1: biggest horse racing in boxing where America is two biggest
- 3:17Speaker 1: sports at one point. Yeah, in the black and white days,
- 3:20Speaker 1: so everybody gets in little suits. It's a fun event
- 3:22Speaker 1: the old day.
- 3:22Speaker 6: You ever been to the Derby, Kentucky Derby, Yeah, Kentucky
- 3:25Speaker 6: Derby got invited a couple times, got invited this year.
- 3:28Speaker 6: Really well, it would have been a bad year because yeah, yeah,
- 3:31Speaker 6: oh yeah.
- 3:32Speaker 1: They were yeah, flopping through the mund Yeah, but you
- 3:35Speaker 1: can't even keep up with them for the season. Everybody
- 3:38Speaker 1: acts like it's a sport, Like Golden State in Houston
- 3:40Speaker 1: played last night, Like we've been following the Warriors either
- 3:43Speaker 1: this year or the last ten years. You know, Steph,
- 3:46Speaker 1: you know, Jaymond Green, you know, you know, I'm in
- 3:49Speaker 1: Thompson's been awesome.
- 3:51Speaker 6: Give me Butler, all these guys.
- 3:53Speaker 1: That's a sport.
- 3:54Speaker 4: You don't know.
- 3:55Speaker 6: Seabiscuit, Yeah, the one because they made a movie about him.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Well out of here naming people like you know, thunder Britches.
- 4:03Speaker 1: We root for him for one race.
- 4:05Speaker 6: Jason Worth his horse Mohawk something mohawk.
- 4:09Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know.
- 4:10Speaker 6: You remember Jason Worth from the Phillies. Yeah, he has
- 4:13Speaker 6: a horse now something Mohawk. I bet on him just
- 4:15Speaker 6: because of the name Malone and I found out it
- 4:16Speaker 6: was Jason Worth a horse, and I was like, perfect, Yeah,
- 4:19Speaker 6: I don't win.
- 4:20Speaker 1: They they didn't even interview the horse. They interviewed the jockey.
- 4:23Speaker 1: So then so anyway, that's jipped. Yeah, I think this
- 4:27Speaker 1: is not I mean in a NASCAR race, they don't
- 4:31Speaker 1: act like the car of the athlete.
- 4:33Speaker 4: It's a good point.
- 4:34Speaker 1: So, no, horse racing is not a sport. It also
- 4:37Speaker 1: doesn't have a ball. And I think for the most
- 4:41Speaker 1: part of sport needs a ball.
- 4:42Speaker 4: But neither does gymnastics.
- 4:43Speaker 1: I said, for the most part needs a ball. You
- 4:45Speaker 1: didn't get me because I said it for the most part. Again,
- 4:49Speaker 1: I think there are sports with that balls, but for
- 4:50Speaker 1: the most part, you need a ball to be a
- 4:52Speaker 1: sport or the person needs to understand what winning and
- 4:55Speaker 1: losing is not just I'm getting hit, so I need
- 4:58Speaker 1: to run run faster to get food the line. So
- 5:00Speaker 1: golf golf sport, Yeah, right, absolutely, handout coordination ball, you're
- 5:06Speaker 1: competing against others, you get a trophy.
- 5:08Speaker 4: Yeah, extremely difficult.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Horse racing, well, just being difficult doesn't make it a sport,
- 5:13Speaker 1: algebra a sport. Yeah, so I just want to start
- 5:18Speaker 1: with that. Okay, I don't even I didn't even watch it.
- 5:22Speaker 1: I was listening to a podcast though about how boxing
- 5:23Speaker 1: and horse racing used to be America's two biggest sports.
- 5:26Speaker 1: I was like, what losers people had to be back then?
- 5:29Speaker 6: Is boxing a sport in your mind?
- 5:30Speaker 5: Yeah? Okay, yeah, you're.
- 5:32Speaker 1: Keeping up with a I swear to god, I.
- 5:34Speaker 4: Said everyone every time there's one without a ball like that.
- 5:37Speaker 1: But it's like you can keep up with the person
- 5:39Speaker 1: wins and losses. We don't know a single one of
- 5:43Speaker 1: these horses. There's not a casual that can just jump
- 5:46Speaker 1: in because these horses run so little. And again we
- 5:51Speaker 1: don't follow them track to track, week to week. It's
- 5:54Speaker 1: not a team. They don't represent a city. They don't
- 5:56Speaker 1: represent a group of people.
- 5:57Speaker 4: You think tomorrow, like all of us in here can
- 5:59Speaker 4: jump on horse and like right and race.
- 6:01Speaker 1: No, No, I don't think you can jump on a
- 6:04Speaker 1: horse and ride a running horse and a gallop without
- 6:07Speaker 1: going out out out.
- 6:08Speaker 4: Oh, it would hurt.
- 6:09Speaker 1: I think you'd have trouble on a rapid gallop. You'd
- 6:12Speaker 1: have trouble. Would it change if there was a ball,
- 6:16Speaker 1: it's a good point.
- 6:17Speaker 4: No ball.
- 6:18Speaker 1: I when I had to do a couple of things,
- 6:20Speaker 1: but like I did, break you, Bobby Belles went to Wyoming.
- 6:23Speaker 1: I went to Montana sit up there for like four days.
- 6:25Speaker 1: I had to reacquaint myself with riding a lot of
- 6:27Speaker 1: horses because we were moving. That's the only way to
- 6:30Speaker 1: get around.
- 6:30Speaker 4: That hurts the nuts.
- 6:32Speaker 1: It hurts well, it hurts the and then we can
- 6:34Speaker 1: talk about what we call it the tang.
- 6:35Speaker 4: Yes, the whole region.
- 6:38Speaker 1: It hurts that area pretty bad. But even I ride
- 6:42Speaker 1: horses as a kid, not like equestrian. That's like rich
- 6:45Speaker 1: people's stuff. Like my uncle Rick had some horses and
- 6:48Speaker 1: we jump on a bare backs.
- 6:49Speaker 4: Uncle Rick didn't jump to the bars.
- 6:50Speaker 1: No, none of that was happening Rick's house. But even
- 6:53Speaker 1: then it had to like get it down again because
- 6:56Speaker 1: you could easily fall off. We're going to talk to
- 6:58Speaker 1: Matt stell In just a little bit, who was at
- 7:00Speaker 1: Game seven last night nice, which I watched it this
- 7:04Speaker 1: morning on high I watched the highlights, but it was
- 7:07Speaker 1: like an extended highlights because I wanted to see as
- 7:10Speaker 1: much as possible. It's not like when football does every
- 7:12Speaker 1: play crammed in, because that would just be the whole
- 7:14Speaker 1: basketball because basketball is not like football football, there's time
- 7:16Speaker 1: running while they're not doing anything. Basketball times running, they're playing.
- 7:20Speaker 4: Back and forth.
- 7:21Speaker 1: Yeah so, but it seemed like the whole time they
- 7:24Speaker 1: had two guys on Steff, not just when he had
- 7:25Speaker 1: the ball. They were double team to Steff at times
- 7:28Speaker 1: when Steff didn't even have the ball. So they shut
- 7:30Speaker 1: Steph down. Buddy Hild had Yeah, he went, now I.
- 7:33Speaker 6: Have nine three pointers, had like twenty three in the
- 7:36Speaker 6: first half points.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Yeah. So, but what them being so attached to Steph
- 7:41Speaker 1: did was allowed Buddy Hill to actually shoot the ball
- 7:45Speaker 1: and made a ton of Shoy Thompson. What I'm just saying,
- 7:49Speaker 1: like a Klay Thompson back in the day. Yeah, but Buddy,
- 7:52Speaker 1: Buddy Hill is not Clay Toy.
- 7:54Speaker 4: You know. When we went to the Pacers, though, and
- 7:56Speaker 4: we went to their practice facility, there was one player
- 7:59Speaker 4: in there shootings three and that was Buddy Heel.
- 8:01Speaker 1: I don't remember that.
- 8:02Speaker 4: You don't remember? Yeah, remember that you're lying.
- 8:04Speaker 1: We talked about when we went we met UH coach Pargo,
- 8:08Speaker 1: Gennaro Pargo.
- 8:09Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, and there Buddy Heel was by himself shooting.
- 8:12Speaker 6: Before we started filming this. Okay, you're right, Okay, sorry.
- 8:15Speaker 6: While we were shooting, I was like, what, don't choose
- 8:17Speaker 6: on me?
- 8:17Speaker 4: A liar?
- 8:18Speaker 6: I was like, that was us shooting threes?
- 8:19Speaker 4: And you know what I thought, I'm not kidding. I
- 8:21Speaker 4: saw him and I was like, I bet one of
- 8:23Speaker 4: these days he's gonna just shine because he's working here
- 8:24Speaker 4: when no one.
- 8:26Speaker 1: He also could have been in their shooting because he
- 8:29Speaker 1: didn't show up to practice and the coach is penalizing it.
- 8:32Speaker 1: And I don't know that's the case, but that just
- 8:34Speaker 1: shows you what stories you can make up in your head.
- 8:35Speaker 1: Are we going to call him when he's ready?
- 8:37Speaker 5: Yeah? Waiting on him?
- 8:38Speaker 1: Okay, So Max.
- 8:39Speaker 4: Still get this. I don't understand. We just saw him
- 8:42Speaker 4: on Saturday.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Here's the thing, and I'll be completely transparent, a boy.
- 8:45Speaker 1: This We did I our country festival on Saturday night,
- 8:49Speaker 1: and so we left right after the show and flew
- 8:52Speaker 1: private home because I have to leave again to go
- 8:54Speaker 1: back to Dallas on Tuesday. So I just wanted to
- 8:57Speaker 1: get back home to my bed. So we get as
- 8:59Speaker 1: soon as Josoe we go to the airport. We get
- 9:01Speaker 1: on the plane and Matt's friend of mine, Matt Stell
- 9:04Speaker 1: by the way, who has songs like yeah, hold on.
- 9:07Speaker 7: I've been down to me fish and Dumpty not some
- 9:11Speaker 7: multi bees, I've been anywhere.
- 9:17Speaker 1: But he also had to pray for my melodies on
- 9:23Speaker 1: you got it, you got hold on, let me do
- 9:26Speaker 1: it this here, pray.
- 9:29Speaker 7: I've been down there, them gang and names before they
- 9:39Speaker 7: a miss.
- 9:39Speaker 1: I pray for you. That's it. So he's got all
- 9:42Speaker 1: these number one songs and he played uh. Earlier in
- 9:45Speaker 1: the day Matt's friend. I said, hey, if you want
- 9:47Speaker 1: to fly back with us because him and his wife
- 9:49Speaker 1: obviously live here. And I said's me Eddie and Amy
- 9:54Speaker 1: my wife Morgan number one, who's our manager. Uh, you
- 10:01Speaker 1: guys can hop on the plane. He's like, great, we
- 10:03Speaker 1: don't get back to like one in the morning, and
- 10:06Speaker 1: so as beat by the way, Kevin text me like
- 10:09Speaker 1: seven in the morning, we didn't get into I didn't
- 10:10Speaker 1: get a bed to like three dude.
- 10:12Speaker 5: I know.
- 10:12Speaker 6: As soon as I said, I was like, wait, what
- 10:13Speaker 6: am I doing.
- 10:15Speaker 1: On a Sunday at seven thirty? Like, hey, man, what
- 10:17Speaker 1: if he's a church dude? Just don't get that church
- 10:20Speaker 1: is not at seven.
- 10:20Speaker 6: Thirty and he's getting ready for church seven.
- 10:24Speaker 1: So still flies back with us. He's like, thanks, man,
- 10:27Speaker 1: say later, let's play golf. Whatever goes home. Text me
- 10:33Speaker 1: later that day goes, hey, I'm on the way back
- 10:34Speaker 1: to the airport. I say, why, goes I'm going to
- 10:36Speaker 1: Houston to game seven. I was like, why did you
- 10:37Speaker 1: fly home? You could have just driven?
- 10:39Speaker 4: Yes.
- 10:39Speaker 1: I don't think he knew he was two hours away,
- 10:41Speaker 1: like two half hours. He just could have driven right
- 10:43Speaker 1: up to Houston, went to the game. But he landed,
- 10:46Speaker 1: flew back, then flew back down to go to game seven.
- 10:48Speaker 4: Wow, you know, you said Matt still and like, dude,
- 10:50Speaker 4: he mightded be played golf on Sunday. He went to
- 10:52Speaker 4: the game.
- 10:53Speaker 1: I think it's probably the last minute deal. That's cool,
- 10:55Speaker 1: But I was glad to see that Golden State one.
- 10:59Speaker 1: I think the two breakout stars that are now gone,
- 11:01Speaker 1: but like, hello, we've arrived, or one K Cunningham with
- 11:05Speaker 1: the Pistons and then also like men Thompson's awesome, Like
- 11:09Speaker 1: the guy plays defense. Had he not been hurt, I'm
- 11:11Speaker 1: not even saying that because he had a calf thing.
- 11:14Speaker 1: I'm not even saying they would have won the game.
- 11:16Speaker 1: But he played as good at defense as I've seen,
- 11:19Speaker 1: Like he was on Steph the whole night. Uh. But yeah,
- 11:23Speaker 1: so Twins got still or coming on here? You're gonna
- 11:26Speaker 1: call him. He's a relady, all right, go get him on.
- 11:28Speaker 5: Uh.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Tonight it's the Knicks at Celtics. Well, Kevin Celtics. How
- 11:35Speaker 1: did Casey has been here way less than Kevin get
- 11:37Speaker 1: known as the Knicks fan went Celtic.
- 11:39Speaker 4: Champions on the show. I never know who he's rooting for, Kevin.
- 11:46Speaker 1: Nuggets and Thunder, which is interesting because listen, the Nuggets
- 11:49Speaker 1: played hard. Think about the Nuggets. They got to be tired.
- 11:51Speaker 1: They went seven games, by the way, they won Game
- 11:54Speaker 1: seven pretty easily. Yeah, but after a seven game because
- 11:57Speaker 1: but also Harden sucked Game seven. What else is yeah again,
- 12:01Speaker 1: Harden's terrible Game sevens Yeah, heard and terrible in the
- 12:04Speaker 1: playoffs for the most part. But Oklahoma City and Denver
- 12:09Speaker 1: and Oklahoma City Game one, that's the night as well, oh, okay,
- 12:11Speaker 1: so he's.
- 12:12Speaker 5: Gonna run them.
- 12:12Speaker 4: Oh yeah for sure.
- 12:13Speaker 1: Game one, Game one, yeah, I think. Yeah, they just
- 12:16Speaker 1: finished playing like an hour ago. Now they're back exactly. Yeah.
- 12:19Speaker 1: So and then I have Sovereignty wins the Kentucky Derby
- 12:23Speaker 1: at seven to one. Not a sport, although fun.
- 12:26Speaker 4: Sovereignty is the horse.
- 12:27Speaker 6: Did you bet it is that you're singing?
- 12:29Speaker 3: Or no?
- 12:29Speaker 4: No, we couldn't.
- 12:30Speaker 1: Oh we know, we didn't. Better. I didn't even watch it.
- 12:33Speaker 1: The Preakness, the Triple Crown second leg will happen on Saturday,
- 12:36Speaker 1: May seventeenth. Okay, is he on?
- 12:39Speaker 5: Got him?
- 12:39Speaker 1: Okay? Put him on on with us? Now country music
- 12:42Speaker 1: superstar Matt Still. We were telling the story about how
- 12:44Speaker 1: you flew with me back to Nashville and then like
- 12:48Speaker 1: six hours later you were flying back to Houston, which
- 12:50Speaker 1: was literally down the road from where you came from.
- 12:52Speaker 1: What happened with that, Well.
- 12:54Speaker 8: You know, I got the call from one of my
- 12:56Speaker 8: buddies that was like, hey, do you want to drop
- 13:00Speaker 8: everything and go watch one of the greatest players to
- 13:02Speaker 8: ever do it? Uh playing a game seven? And I
- 13:06Speaker 8: was like, I absolutely do, And so that just hopped
- 13:09Speaker 8: hop back on a plane and head back to Texas.
- 13:12Speaker 9: And how was how was it to see Buddy Hill
- 13:15Speaker 9: the greatest, the greatest bohemian bucket we've ever seen in
- 13:21Speaker 9: our in our lives.
- 13:22Speaker 5: Bro he was balling.
- 13:24Speaker 1: So just from watching on my computer, it looked like
- 13:28Speaker 1: they were doubling Steph all night when he had the ball, obviously,
- 13:32Speaker 1: but at times even when he didn't have the ball,
- 13:35Speaker 1: I mean, was that very apparent from where you were?
- 13:38Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 13:38Speaker 8: So you know the thing that we noticed is that
- 13:41Speaker 8: even even when Steph was like out of the play,
- 13:46Speaker 8: you know, there was there.
- 13:47Speaker 5: Was no space given to him.
- 13:49Speaker 8: And and this and this time of year, you know,
- 13:51Speaker 8: basketball gets gets like they don't call near as many
- 13:54Speaker 8: fouls and and you know a lot of times that's
- 13:56Speaker 8: a good way, but man, Steph has to fight off
- 13:58Speaker 8: the ball because he's also you know a lot of
- 14:01Speaker 8: these other guards that get buckets like Steph does, they
- 14:03Speaker 8: start with the ball in their hand.
- 14:05Speaker 5: Where Steph and the Warriors, you know, they run.
- 14:07Speaker 8: Action for him, so like he's he is always moving
- 14:11Speaker 8: coming off screens, trying to get open that way. But man,
- 14:14Speaker 8: anytime that anytime he even came close to the ball,
- 14:17Speaker 8: there was at least one guy on him.
- 14:18Speaker 1: Absolutely, What did you think about I'm in Thompson last
- 14:21Speaker 1: night was saying one person, I.
- 14:24Speaker 8: Mean, he's just he's athletic in that in that next
- 14:28Speaker 8: he's athletic among athletic people.
- 14:30Speaker 5: Man, It's like he reminds me.
- 14:32Speaker 8: Some people say, you know, he's got some Westbrook in
- 14:35Speaker 8: terms of just pure athleticism, and I get that that
- 14:38Speaker 8: is toping athleticisms like that.
- 14:40Speaker 5: But I tell you who he.
- 14:41Speaker 8: Really reminds me of more right now is a bigger
- 14:44Speaker 8: John Wall. Like he John Wall had had had that
- 14:48Speaker 8: burst and the elite athleticism, but he's also smooth with
- 14:52Speaker 8: it in a way that sometimes Russ is just like
- 14:55Speaker 8: so explosive to a fault.
- 14:56Speaker 5: And that's kind of what what he looks like to me.
- 14:59Speaker 5: That that would be my.
- 15:00Speaker 1: John Wall is also a lot longer, and it seems
- 15:03Speaker 1: like the Thompson twins are both a lot longer than
- 15:05Speaker 1: like a Russ.
- 15:07Speaker 8: Yeah, I mean they're big. I mean they're they're both
- 15:09Speaker 8: they're they're huge, guy. Yeah, absolutely, they're they're playing you know,
- 15:13Speaker 8: they can they can play the two, and that's another
- 15:15Speaker 8: thing about you know, they can play one through three. Really,
- 15:18Speaker 8: he could probably guard bigger than that, depending.
- 15:20Speaker 5: On who it was.
- 15:20Speaker 8: But that's the thing about Houston, man, they can switch.
- 15:24Speaker 8: You know, Tari Easton can switch on the steff. You know,
- 15:28Speaker 8: Fred van Vliet can switch on to stuff. And then
- 15:30Speaker 8: obviously you know Thomson with the primary defender. Like that's
- 15:33Speaker 8: another reason that makes it really tough with those guys.
- 15:35Speaker 8: But yeah, man, it was. It was incredible.
- 15:37Speaker 1: What was a vibe like last night in the arena,
- 15:39Speaker 1: pre middle end, at the end.
- 15:43Speaker 5: Well, I think you know, early early on. You know,
- 15:47Speaker 5: I've been to.
- 15:47Speaker 8: A few games in Houston at this point, and Houston
- 15:52Speaker 8: is a great is a great city. I would probably
- 15:54Speaker 8: say that basketball is their probably third favorite sport, uh
- 15:57Speaker 8: there because a lot of times you'll go to Toyota
- 15:59Speaker 8: Set and it'll be you know people, it'll be full,
- 16:02Speaker 8: but but people are not in a rush to get
- 16:04Speaker 8: there for tip. But that was not the case last night. Man,
- 16:06Speaker 8: everybody was was in there, they were locked in. I think, uh,
- 16:11Speaker 8: I think you could kind of early on it felt
- 16:13Speaker 8: like it felt like Houston really would have something for
- 16:15Speaker 8: him because the Warriors were shooting really well and and
- 16:19Speaker 8: we're only.
- 16:20Speaker 5: Up a few points.
- 16:20Speaker 8: But uh, but man, it kind of came back to
- 16:24Speaker 8: bottom that they don't have one of those go get
- 16:26Speaker 8: a bucket guys yet. You know Am and Thomas have
- 16:27Speaker 8: played great, but he's not quite where you can just
- 16:30Speaker 8: like hand him the ball and him go get a bucket.
- 16:32Speaker 1: Were you rooting for Golden State?
- 16:35Speaker 10: Man?
- 16:35Speaker 5: I guess I was.
- 16:36Speaker 8: You know, I was there just to be one hundred
- 16:39Speaker 8: percent honest, Like one of my one of my buddies
- 16:41Speaker 8: is his buddies was Steph and that's kind of how
- 16:43Speaker 8: we got there and got the tickets. So yeah, man,
- 16:46Speaker 8: I was pulling for the Warriors last night, not only
- 16:49Speaker 8: because of uh, because of that, but man, like you know,
- 16:53Speaker 8: it's easy to take some of these guys for granted.
- 16:56Speaker 8: You know that are that are getting because you know
- 16:58Speaker 8: all of these, all these superstars played for so long,
- 17:00Speaker 8: you know, Tom Brady, Lebron and and you know Steps
- 17:03Speaker 8: you know not so many years behind, you know, behind Lebron.
- 17:06Speaker 5: You don't know how many, how many of these games
- 17:08Speaker 5: you're gonna.
- 17:08Speaker 8: Get, so to to watch the to watch the like
- 17:11Speaker 8: grizzled Veterans go up against this upstart super athletic squad,
- 17:16Speaker 8: well coached, tough, you know, hard nosed team. Uh, I
- 17:19Speaker 8: guess I was kind of rooting for Uh, I was
- 17:21Speaker 8: kind of rooting for Golden State.
- 17:22Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 17:22Speaker 1: Did you get to meet Steph after the game?
- 17:25Speaker 5: Yeah? Man, I yeah, yeah, I say what's up before
- 17:30Speaker 5: the game?
- 17:31Speaker 4: Uh?
- 17:31Speaker 5: He was.
- 17:32Speaker 8: I'll send you, hey, I will send you a link
- 17:36Speaker 8: to like a Twitter link of a video that like
- 17:38Speaker 8: we were there at his shooting around. We were sitting
- 17:41Speaker 8: on the bench and uh and then my buddy Will
- 17:43Speaker 8: knows him and uh and and actually threw threw him
- 17:46Speaker 8: past sort of, uh, make his last three.
- 17:48Speaker 5: So I'll send you the video.
- 17:49Speaker 1: No way, So after the game, do you go back
- 17:53Speaker 1: go back in the locker room away?
- 17:55Speaker 5: No?
- 17:55Speaker 8: No, he you know this game said, hey, they've got
- 17:58Speaker 8: to play in forty eight hours. So it's not like
- 18:00Speaker 8: it's it's not like they were all they were so
- 18:03Speaker 8: pumped to win. But you know, Steph had his wife
- 18:07Speaker 8: and kids there and I think his mom was there too,
- 18:09Speaker 8: So he's got his guy, his like security, like a
- 18:15Speaker 8: number one dude. Yusuf is kind of the the one
- 18:19Speaker 8: that took care of us last night.
- 18:20Speaker 5: So we could get down there a little bit. So
- 18:22Speaker 5: shout out to him.
- 18:22Speaker 1: But how'd you get home?
- 18:23Speaker 5: But yeah, man, that's good. I got home the old
- 18:26Speaker 5: fashioned way.
- 18:27Speaker 8: Hey, you remember that flight that I that I canceled
- 18:30Speaker 8: to fly home with you. Yeah, I just repurposed that
- 18:34Speaker 8: thing to get home, to get home from.
- 18:35Speaker 5: Houston, Texas.
- 18:36Speaker 4: See that was meant to be then, So this.
- 18:38Speaker 1: Morning you got home.
- 18:40Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm in Nashville right now.
- 18:42Speaker 8: I'm over here trying to write a song, trying to
- 18:45Speaker 8: rhyme girling truck together.
- 18:46Speaker 1: But all right, I'll let you go do that. Thanks
- 18:50Speaker 1: for the story. Talk to you soon, all boys, All right,
- 18:54Speaker 1: he's the best. He's fair.
- 18:56Speaker 4: No, dude, he's so funny to me.
- 18:58Speaker 5: He is. He's fair.
- 19:00Speaker 4: Like, how was he in the cockpit of that plate?
- 19:02Speaker 5: Oh?
- 19:02Speaker 1: He kept going to the pilots. He like got their
- 19:04Speaker 1: iPad and wanted to see like how to land? He
- 19:06Speaker 1: was like a nine year old what do you do? Yeah?
- 19:09Speaker 1: What do you do here? What do you do here?
- 19:10Speaker 1: So yeah, yeah, there's Matt Stow. You guys go follow
- 19:13Speaker 1: him on socials and stuff. I don't even know what
- 19:15Speaker 1: he's doing. Bill Belichick, talk about him for a second.
- 19:19Speaker 4: What about it?
- 19:21Speaker 1: The story where his girl supposedly, because now anybody that
- 19:24Speaker 1: has any story knows they're going to get a little
- 19:26Speaker 1: cloud they say anything about it, they have any sort
- 19:28Speaker 1: of inside information. And somebody was talking about how she
- 19:32Speaker 1: forced her way into the Dunk and Donuts Super Bowl commercial.
- 19:34Speaker 1: She wasn't really supposed to be a part of it.
- 19:36Speaker 1: Oh and because she's running all of his empire now
- 19:40Speaker 1: that she insisted she being the commercial, it wasn't like
- 19:44Speaker 1: the creative that was already.
- 19:47Speaker 10: After watching it in that light, now it's it's very different.
- 19:52Speaker 1: She seemed forced in a little bit. Bill Belichick has
- 19:55Speaker 1: found himself in the news recently for some unexpected reasons.
- 19:57Speaker 1: I'm gonna read this from Larry Brown Sports and the
- 19:59Speaker 1: legend coach. Maybe looking for some help in that department.
- 20:02Speaker 1: Apparently he's looking for a new PR like just in general,
- 20:07Speaker 1: to help with a bad PR for her being his PR, so.
- 20:10Speaker 4: She can't get a MODR for the PR.
- 20:12Speaker 1: No, she's still the same, but they need someone to
- 20:14Speaker 1: fix the image of what they're doing.
- 20:16Speaker 6: You can't demote her, so he's.
- 20:19Speaker 1: Belichick has had conversations with at least one public relations
- 20:22Speaker 1: specialist in recent months. One PR expert that Belichick has
- 20:25Speaker 1: spoken with is a former Chicago Bears vice president of communications.
- 20:29Speaker 1: Belichick has not formally hired anyone. One goal would be
- 20:31Speaker 1: to boost a tour for his upcoming book, The Art
- 20:33Speaker 1: of Winning, And then it goes on talks about what
- 20:35Speaker 1: happened on the CBS Morning Show and how she was
- 20:39Speaker 1: a constant presence during the interview. One recent report claimed
- 20:42Speaker 1: that North Carolina is concerned about Belichick's relationship with Hudson,
- 20:45Speaker 1: as she appears to be operating as his manager in
- 20:48Speaker 1: addition to his girlfriend. So some people are going, who
- 20:51Speaker 1: cares if she's his manager? And right, it's his right
- 20:53Speaker 1: and it's not even an age thing or a girlfriend thing.
- 20:56Speaker 1: She has no experience being a manager of such a successful, famous,
- 21:03Speaker 1: such a dependent because there's so many people depending on
- 21:05Speaker 1: his success to work under him and with him, the
- 21:08Speaker 1: university that works alongside him, and now she's managing that,
- 21:11Speaker 1: it could hurt a lot of other people. So Belichick
- 21:15Speaker 1: apparently is looking for someone to help manage the PR
- 21:18Speaker 1: that he's gotten from his bad PR that she's created.
- 21:22Speaker 1: What a mess, It's a mess.
- 21:24Speaker 4: What would what would you do? Like, what would be
- 21:26Speaker 4: the first thing you would do if you got that job?
- 21:30Speaker 5: Well?
- 21:30Speaker 1: Are you saying if I got to be king of
- 21:32Speaker 1: that job?
- 21:33Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 21:33Speaker 1: Because I understand there are probably some there's some nuance
- 21:37Speaker 1: to that which would be very sensitive about their relationship.
- 21:40Speaker 1: But if you're like you get to be king, we'll
- 21:41Speaker 1: do whatever you say. Eliminate her from any narrative. She
- 21:45Speaker 1: doesn't exist anymore. She could be your girlfriend of pictures
- 21:47Speaker 1: and go to stuff, but you got your girlfriend being
- 21:50Speaker 1: your manager, which it doesn't matter even if there's not
- 21:53Speaker 1: an age difference. That can be weird that it's a dynamic,
- 22:00Speaker 1: like if my wife was up here producing the show,
- 22:04Speaker 1: or like telling Scuba Steve like, don't that's that's publicly
- 22:06Speaker 1: that's weird, right, yeah, and people can be resentful of that,
- 22:09Speaker 1: and people as your wife ever ran a syndicated radio show, No, no, no,
- 22:15Speaker 1: So I would but give her a chance.
- 22:16Speaker 4: She's good.
- 22:17Speaker 1: I would pull any way for anyone to see she's
- 22:20Speaker 1: doing any of that at all, whatsoever. So you got
- 22:24Speaker 1: to remove her.
- 22:25Speaker 4: I think that's smart.
- 22:27Speaker 1: And the problem is, but he's not going to or
- 22:29Speaker 1: he would have already.
- 22:30Speaker 4: And whoever gets that job you think they can say that, Well,
- 22:32Speaker 4: you asked me what I would know. I know and
- 22:34Speaker 4: accept it.
- 22:35Speaker 1: No, because what I would say is, if I'm really
- 22:37Speaker 1: going in, I'm going Hey, how do we limit the
- 22:42Speaker 1: negativity that comes from whenever both of you do something
- 22:48Speaker 1: in the press that's out of your control, because then
- 22:52Speaker 1: you're saying the same thing, but now you're saying it
- 22:54Speaker 1: in a way that it's not their fault. It's out
- 22:57Speaker 1: of their control. People are going to do this. But
- 22:59Speaker 1: how do we make sure it's not as bad as
- 23:00Speaker 1: it has been it's all going to be, and how
- 23:03Speaker 1: sensitive they are with it? And will they be able
- 23:05Speaker 1: to remove her totally? No, because he wants her there.
- 23:10Speaker 1: The fact that and again this is just a story,
- 23:12Speaker 1: the fact that she wears his Super Bowl membilia and
- 23:14Speaker 1: makes it like crop tops and wears it to bed and.
- 23:17Speaker 4: Stuff he does, game warn stuff crazy.
- 23:21Speaker 1: This is like Yoko Ono level a bit or Yeah,
- 23:24Speaker 1: I mean the elder abuse thing was always funny, funny,
- 23:27Speaker 1: but now you're starting to wonder, like, what's happening here?
- 23:29Speaker 5: Right?
- 23:29Speaker 1: Because I don't think it's elder abuse. I think he knows,
- 23:32Speaker 1: but also he's in his seventies and I think he
- 23:35Speaker 1: likes what. I think he likes it. Yeah, but I
- 23:38Speaker 1: also think I don't think he's getting it's getting to
- 23:41Speaker 1: him how toxic it is for him. Because they talk
- 23:45Speaker 1: about how he's never online. He doesn't go online. He
- 23:47Speaker 1: doesn't see a lot of the stuff. So if he's
- 23:49Speaker 1: never online, he doesn't see all the toxicity that's happening
- 23:51Speaker 1: from this, and it's only coming from other people to him,
- 23:54Speaker 1: and people going to him a lot of the times
- 23:55Speaker 1: aren't going to say how they really feel. Because the
- 23:57Speaker 1: Emperor wears no clothes, he's not he doesn't really have
- 24:00Speaker 1: an understanding of it. I think this interview probably opened
- 24:04Speaker 1: that door to, oh, this is actually a lot bigger
- 24:06Speaker 1: than I think. Yeah, and he's had to reevaluate, and
- 24:09Speaker 1: his evaluation might be now, I'm good with it. It
- 24:11Speaker 1: could be that, but he's had to probably if not
- 24:15Speaker 1: reevaluate for the first time what's happening to him publicly,
- 24:19Speaker 1: which could also hurt recruiting or be a little staying
- 24:22Speaker 1: at North Carolina football. It could be the main story
- 24:25Speaker 1: at Carolina football. If they're losing, it's probably going to
- 24:28Speaker 1: be her fault.
- 24:28Speaker 4: Yep, yeah, even I and.
- 24:30Speaker 1: If he loves her, you don't want that for the
- 24:33Speaker 1: person you love to have to take the blame if
- 24:36Speaker 1: the program's losing, because it's not going to be her fault, probably,
- 24:39Speaker 1: but it will be to everybody in the media because
- 24:42Speaker 1: they'll go well, obviously they're losing. Look at the distraction
- 24:44Speaker 1: to the head coach. Not fair, But what about the
- 24:47Speaker 1: media is.
- 24:48Speaker 4: And I bet he does love her very very much.
- 24:53Speaker 4: I'm sure he does. I'm serious. I don't know if
- 24:56Speaker 4: he loves him, but he loves.
- 24:58Speaker 1: They can't even go jogging together. How far can he
- 25:01Speaker 1: run before he gets tired?
- 25:02Speaker 4: The point yeah, point drive away. He'd be like, just go,
- 25:05Speaker 4: I'll meet you at home. I turn around. I thought
- 25:08Speaker 4: you're done, I'll be home. But it's more like it's like.
- 25:13Speaker 1: Later, like he wants to watch gun smoke, she wants
- 25:16Speaker 1: to watch.
- 25:17Speaker 4: They agree on the house.
- 25:18Speaker 6: Well, I don't even think he has any saying anything
- 25:20Speaker 6: with her. What I like, I don't even care. Whatever
- 25:24Speaker 6: you're saying he doesn't have. You're not saying he doesn't
- 25:27Speaker 6: have say you're saying he doesn't want to say. Yeah,
- 25:29Speaker 6: he doesn't care enough to have to say, to have
- 25:31Speaker 6: an argument or to He just lets her do whatever.
- 25:34Speaker 5: The hell she wants.
- 25:35Speaker 1: Obviously that's what's happening.
- 25:36Speaker 6: Yeah, and then it's reached now to the point of
- 25:39Speaker 6: his professional career and everything where it's like and then
- 25:42Speaker 6: to your point now he's seeing the ramifications of it
- 25:44Speaker 6: where he's like, oh, maybe this has gone too far.
- 25:46Speaker 1: Actually he's gone from the constructions in any way.
- 25:50Speaker 6: That's the crazy part. Imagine being like a former player
- 25:52Speaker 6: and be like, wait, I got like fine for this,
- 25:54Speaker 6: or I got traded for this, and you're out here
- 25:56Speaker 6: doing this with a twenty something year old girl. That's
- 25:58Speaker 6: crazy and.
- 25:59Speaker 1: That that's okay to do something like that with the
- 26:02Speaker 1: twenty seven year old girl. But the pr part of
- 26:05Speaker 1: it is a big part of being the head coach
- 26:07Speaker 1: of a Power five school, especially a school that probably
- 26:10Speaker 1: has the best colors in collegiate sports.
- 26:13Speaker 5: It's pretty cool.
- 26:14Speaker 1: I mean that's my favorite color, but that North Carolina
- 26:16Speaker 1: blue is pretty awesome.
- 26:17Speaker 5: Blues.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Yeah, I think it's literally Carolina blue. It's not baby blue.
- 26:21Speaker 1: I think it's I think it's its own official Like
- 26:24Speaker 1: on the wheel has a number, I think it's Carolina blue.
- 26:27Speaker 1: You keep liking certain little things like maybe blue a ball,
- 26:30Speaker 1: but you're wrong again like technicality, Yeah, yeah, why do
- 26:33Speaker 1: you be in that guy today?
- 26:34Speaker 4: I was just trying to picture a crayon and mean, like,
- 26:36Speaker 4: I've never seen Carolina.
- 26:37Speaker 1: Blue, baby blue? What do you say kran you say it,
- 26:41Speaker 1: that's weird.
- 26:42Speaker 5: Crazy.
- 26:42Speaker 6: No, you said like cray yawn, I say crazy. I've
- 26:47Speaker 6: heard that's like two words.
- 26:48Speaker 10: I've heard people say crown.
- 26:49Speaker 5: I don't know crown.
- 26:52Speaker 1: I could accept crayon, being that you're not from the South. Yeah,
- 26:55Speaker 1: it's weird that you say crayon. Yeah, maybe maybe detective

- 28:16Speaker 1: So Jim Harbaugh says that the Kicker job with the Ravens,
- 28:20Speaker 1: it has to be John Harbal.
- 28:21Speaker 6: I say, John, Jim, you said, Jim, Yeah.
- 28:24Speaker 4: I wasn't gonna preck to you though, John, thank you.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Technicality it starts, this is horriball got Harball's right, John says,
- 28:32Speaker 1: the Kicker job we based solely on football, Yeah right.
- 28:36Speaker 4: What like what is it like there's problems?
- 28:40Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 28:41Speaker 4: Yeah, he does the greatest kicker ever. You're talking about.
- 28:43Speaker 1: The Justin Tucker massage parlor problem. Yeah, so I'll read
- 28:48Speaker 1: you this. At the end of the month. The Baltimore
- 28:50Speaker 1: Ravens from ESPN could be facing a situation in which
- 28:54Speaker 1: kicker Justin Tucker shares the field with his potential successor,
- 28:57Speaker 1: Tyler Loop. They drafted Loop as which you don't often
- 29:00Speaker 1: draft a kicker unless you plan to start the kicker.
- 29:03Speaker 1: I didn't catch that, especially if you draft them not
- 29:06Speaker 1: in round seven. Yeah, asked how the Ravens would handle
- 29:09Speaker 1: the dynamic of Tucker and Luke being in the same building.
- 29:12Speaker 5: Quote.
- 29:12Speaker 1: Every decision we make has to be based on football.
- 29:15Speaker 1: There are a lot of layers to that. You got
- 29:16Speaker 1: a rookie kicker, and here you took them in the
- 29:19Speaker 1: early sixth round. He's a talented guy from a football standpoint, salary,
- 29:23Speaker 1: cap all different things. You have to take that into consideration.
- 29:25Speaker 1: In the off season, Tucker has been accused by sixteen
- 29:28Speaker 1: massage therapists of inappropriate behavior, including sexual misconduct. According to
- 29:33Speaker 1: The Baltimore Banner, he has twice publicly disputed the allegations.
- 29:37Speaker 1: I'm gonna need at least sixteen disputes. So I'll be
- 29:38Speaker 1: honest with you. If there are sixteen massage therapists, I'm
- 29:41Speaker 1: going to need sixteen individual disputes.
- 29:43Speaker 4: Twenty wouldn't hurt either.
- 29:44Speaker 1: Does that mean fourteen or non disputed? Exactly? Yeah, Oh
- 29:50Speaker 1: my gosh, sixteen that is that's a bad number, and
- 29:55Speaker 1: not the number sixteen itself, and then number one is
- 29:58Speaker 1: a bad number. When it comes to this, I could
- 30:00Speaker 1: see someone lying and using it to make money in
- 30:06Speaker 1: an unfair way, or a couple people. When it gets
- 30:09Speaker 1: up there to like four or five, seven, sixteen, you're going, man,
- 30:14Speaker 1: that's a lot of lion Yeah, by a lot of
- 30:16Speaker 1: people if they're lit. So you go, well, since there's
- 30:20Speaker 1: that many, I probably tend to believe that something so good.
- 30:25Speaker 1: I know Tucker's been at the Ravens facility the last
- 30:29Speaker 1: couple weeks, kicking and working out. I wonder what the
- 30:31Speaker 1: other players they look at him, like, Oh boy, does
- 30:33Speaker 1: anyone say anything? They may take a picture with them,
- 30:35Speaker 1: you know, taking pictures of camp. You probably don't go
- 30:38Speaker 1: post on Instagram me and my boy talk.
- 30:40Speaker 5: Yeah, nope, you crop them out.
- 30:41Speaker 1: Oh my goodness. Teams officials wouldn't say that they'd make
- 30:46Speaker 1: a determination on Tucker until the NFL had finished investigation.
- 30:49Speaker 1: I agree, investigate it fully. A month later, the Ravens
- 30:53Speaker 1: drafted a kicker for the first time in franchise history.
- 30:56Speaker 1: Tucker thirty five is the most accurate kicker in NFL history,
- 30:59Speaker 1: but he's coming off the worst season of his thirteen
- 31:01Speaker 1: year career. He missed ten total kicks. Do we think
- 31:03Speaker 1: that was because he knew it was all coming out?
- 31:04Speaker 5: Yes?
- 31:04Speaker 1: Yes, that Metal game nails he was so good. Yes,
- 31:10Speaker 1: and I agree it probably was because he knew what
- 31:12Speaker 1: was coming. He is also getting older, but I still
- 31:16Speaker 1: think it's probably, Oh God, any any day this could
- 31:19Speaker 1: come out.
- 31:20Speaker 4: And now Joe Buck and Aikman can relax. It wasn't
- 31:23Speaker 4: them jinks in his kicks.
- 31:26Speaker 1: True, they do love when they miss it after they
- 31:27Speaker 1: say he's never missed all that was probably on me.
- 31:30Speaker 1: So yeah, justin Tucker's in the news.
- 31:32Speaker 10: Well, they've already seen the Deshaun Watson stuff play out,
- 31:36Speaker 10: so I can't imagine the Ravens let it play out
- 31:39Speaker 10: that long.
- 31:39Speaker 1: You know, Deshaun Watson did play again though he did, right,
- 31:43Speaker 1: he did, because they settled. All is all settled, nothing criminal.
- 31:50Speaker 1: So but Also, a kicker is not a quarterback, and
- 31:53Speaker 1: you have the money committed to a kicker that you
- 31:55Speaker 1: do a quarterback, and the money's not all guaranteed with
- 31:57Speaker 1: the kicker. That Brown situation, in many ways was an
- 32:00Speaker 1: anomaly because they shouldn't have given him all the money
- 32:04Speaker 1: up front. That'll never happen again. He run that for
- 32:07Speaker 1: the future for the next twenty years of.
- 32:08Speaker 6: Anybody doing that, every other quarterback is pissed.
- 32:10Speaker 1: Yes, when every other owner was pissed at first, because
- 32:15Speaker 1: had Deshaun Watson been good, that then set the standard
- 32:18Speaker 1: for what everybody else was going to have to do
- 32:20Speaker 1: to get a free agent quarterback. But now all the
- 32:22Speaker 1: owners like, thank god Deshaun Watson's a bad person, because
- 32:25Speaker 1: they never have to do that now. So I don't
- 32:29Speaker 1: think Justin Tucker will be with the team when it starts.
- 32:31Speaker 1: If I'm just guessing, if I'm rolling the dice, I.
- 32:34Speaker 6: Think Belichick might need to get the pr team from
- 32:36Speaker 6: the Ravens.
- 32:38Speaker 5: Yeah, maybe they're doing a good job.
- 32:42Speaker 1: I almost got a hold of one.
- 32:43Speaker 4: What not.
- 32:45Speaker 1: Well, so I'm blind, which makes it even more impressive.
- 32:49Speaker 1: That's true. Well, I can see the ball in front
- 32:51Speaker 1: of me. But since when I hit the ball up,
- 32:54Speaker 1: A lot of times I can't see it, and so
- 32:56Speaker 1: I'll be like, did you see it? If I hit
- 32:58Speaker 1: it right down the middle? A lot of times if
- 33:00Speaker 1: the weather's good, I can see it. But that doesn't
- 33:01Speaker 1: happen a lot. Both don't hit it down the middle
- 33:04Speaker 1: a lot and then weather's not always great, So a
- 33:07Speaker 1: lot of times I'm just like, hey, you see where
- 33:08Speaker 1: the ball went. I need to get one of those
- 33:11Speaker 1: like at a crosswalk for blind people.
- 33:12Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah.
- 33:14Speaker 1: And so we're playing a part three at this work
- 33:17Speaker 1: event we went to. I've never hit a hole in
- 33:18Speaker 1: one and I hit it. It's part three, like one
- 33:21Speaker 1: fifty five or something, and the three guys I'm playing
- 33:24Speaker 1: with start jumping up and down. I knew it felt good,
- 33:27Speaker 1: and they're going, oh jumping up Down'm like, what happened?
- 33:30Speaker 1: Oh what happened? I thought it hit somebody or a
- 33:31Speaker 1: hole in one, one of the two and you've done
- 33:33Speaker 1: that before. Yeah, I have hit somebody. Yeah, And so
- 33:36Speaker 1: I'm like, oh my god. And then they go because
- 33:39Speaker 1: there was a hill and they were like they all
- 33:41Speaker 1: thought it was going in and it rolled past the
- 33:43Speaker 1: hole by about two or three feet.
- 33:45Speaker 6: But you didn't, but you couldn't clearly see it.
- 33:46Speaker 1: I never saw anything. All I saw was them jump
- 33:49Speaker 1: up and down.
- 33:49Speaker 6: But did they even see it at the end or no?
- 33:51Speaker 6: Because of the hills.
- 33:52Speaker 1: They saw it roll right toward the hole and then
- 33:54Speaker 1: it kind of went over the hill, so in their
- 33:58Speaker 1: mind it wasn't for sure in, but they up because
- 34:00Speaker 1: it was go it was tracking to go in. Then
- 34:02Speaker 1: they lost it and then they were like, well, now
- 34:05Speaker 1: we don't know, but it could be in the hole.
- 34:07Speaker 1: And then you get up there, you drive up and
- 34:11Speaker 1: you're looking and when you get to that that level
- 34:14Speaker 1: in the elevation where then you see the ball, you're like, oh,
- 34:18Speaker 1: but good news. I missed a birdie putt.
- 34:24Speaker 4: That's golf.
- 34:24Speaker 6: Yeah, I was gonna say that, that sums it up.
- 34:26Speaker 1: Yeah, I missed missed the birdie put there.
- 34:29Speaker 4: So you said, you the ball I went past the
- 34:31Speaker 4: hole about three feet.
- 34:33Speaker 1: It rolled like not straight on. You saw the ball
- 34:36Speaker 1: mark about three feet right in front of the hole,
- 34:39Speaker 1: because that's what they wanted to see where it was
- 34:41Speaker 1: right on it, and so it hit and just because
- 34:44Speaker 1: it just kind of rolled to the right. Yeah, yeah,
- 34:47Speaker 1: I missed that BIRDI putt. That's pretty cool. I thought
- 34:51Speaker 1: it for like five seconds. I was like, wow, I
- 34:53Speaker 1: think I got a hold on one, but I never
- 34:54Speaker 1: saw the ball in the air.
- 34:56Speaker 4: Is that the closest you ever been to hole one?
- 34:58Speaker 1: No, I've been probably three inches from one.
- 34:59Speaker 5: Befo.
- 35:00Speaker 4: Oh see that is Oh that's crazy.
- 35:02Speaker 1: But I didn't know until I got up there. This
- 35:04Speaker 1: one I thought it was because they were all jumping
- 35:07Speaker 1: up and down. Thought there was a chance. The one
- 35:08Speaker 1: I was really close to, I didn't think it was
- 35:10Speaker 1: a chance, and I got up and I was like,
- 35:11Speaker 1: oh my god, that I almost went in. That second
- 35:14Speaker 1: one was more fun, the one I'm talking about back
- 35:16Speaker 1: in the day or three years ago, because I never
- 35:18Speaker 1: thought it was going in. Then I get up and
- 35:20Speaker 1: it was so close. I'm like wow. The first one
- 35:23Speaker 1: was a little further off the hole when I got there,
- 35:26Speaker 1: but I thought there was a chance. So there was
- 35:28Speaker 1: disappointment involved.
- 35:29Speaker 6: Are you like, what is it mentally selling yourself like
- 35:32Speaker 6: there's no way, no way, just so you could be
- 35:33Speaker 6: like what if it happens though, like the reverse psychology?
- 35:36Speaker 6: There you go, That's what I'm looking for.
- 35:37Speaker 1: I didn't even start walking. I didn't even start recording
- 35:39Speaker 1: on my phone. So I didn't believe for a second.
- 35:43Speaker 1: And maybe I'm just keeping the like super non jinks.
- 35:46Speaker 1: But I didn't. But if I think there's a chance
- 35:47Speaker 1: of it, I'll record on my phone going up to it.
- 35:51Speaker 1: I didn't turn my phone on.
- 35:52Speaker 4: There's there's always that time too, where you like, you
- 35:55Speaker 4: think it's a home one that's hidden, and you go
- 35:56Speaker 4: up and you don't see the ball in the green.
- 35:58Speaker 1: Like, oh my god, tis maybe it went in and
- 36:04Speaker 1: you go and you slowly walk up to the hole.
- 36:07Speaker 1: You're like, come on, come on, come on, come on,
- 36:09Speaker 1: come on, come on.
- 36:10Speaker 6: Oh no, then you gotta find it.
- 36:13Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that sucked. So yeah, that's what's up. The

- 37:33Speaker 1: Anytime about the guy you said the NFL player had
- 37:35Speaker 1: the normal job.
- 37:36Speaker 4: Yeah, I saw a tweet or something and it was
- 37:39Speaker 4: this NFL guy who plays for the Titans. Now his
- 37:41Speaker 4: name's Xavier Woods and the headline was Xavier Woods, NFL
- 37:45Speaker 4: player has side job. And I'm like, okay, let me
- 37:49Speaker 4: click this, and yeah, yeah, he gets paid a lot
- 37:51Speaker 4: of money in the NFL, but he also says that
- 37:53Speaker 4: he makes smoothies on the side something. This guy work
- 37:56Speaker 4: at Smoothieking or something. And so I think I got clickbaited.
- 38:00Speaker 4: I clicked the same article, did you. Yeah, he owns
- 38:02Speaker 4: a bunch of them, yes, yeah, and maybe once in
- 38:06Speaker 4: a while he goes in there and makes a smoothie
- 38:08Speaker 4: or two. But I thought this guy had a part
- 38:10Speaker 4: time job while he's the NFL, and like that's cool.
- 38:13Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 38:13Speaker 1: The whole story was he has a second job, but
- 38:16Speaker 1: he really runs the business. But he's like super smart
- 38:20Speaker 1: for investing his money. I don't think he makes a
- 38:21Speaker 1: ton of money. He may look up a salary. I
- 38:23Speaker 1: don't think he's making like ten million a year.
- 38:25Speaker 4: I think he had just sound like a five million
- 38:27Speaker 4: for the Titans one year contract year.
- 38:29Speaker 1: But yeah, the whole thing was not all athletes waste
- 38:31Speaker 1: their money. Some invest Yeah, what's an article, But what's
- 38:34Speaker 1: to do.
- 38:35Speaker 6: Right a two year, eight million dollar contract?
- 38:38Speaker 3: OK?
- 38:39Speaker 4: So a little off on that.
- 38:40Speaker 1: No, you could have, correct, I just likely check it out.
- 38:44Speaker 1: You know, four million a year. Hey, pretty good money.
- 38:46Speaker 1: Get it if you can get it. Yeah, speaking of money,
- 38:48Speaker 1: I was looking in my credit card points, which I've
- 38:52Speaker 1: never used a single credit card point.
- 38:53Speaker 4: Dude, you're balling like you've got to have so many?
- 38:57Speaker 1: Well, hold, I've known that I've had them, but I'm
- 39:03Speaker 1: always like, I want to save them for a rainy day.
- 39:05Speaker 1: But I've been saving for rainy day for like seven years,
- 39:10Speaker 1: and so I don't even do the let me see
- 39:12Speaker 1: what it could buy me. I just see the points,
- 39:15Speaker 1: and I don't really do the Well, if I did
- 39:17Speaker 1: use them, what could I get? And so are all
- 39:20Speaker 1: points different? Meaning if you have one hundred points, it's
- 39:23Speaker 1: not the same as one hundred points for another company? Correct,
- 39:26Speaker 1: Like do you know like?
- 39:27Speaker 4: Correct? Because I have an American Express and then I
- 39:29Speaker 4: also have like a regular capital want.
- 39:31Speaker 1: When you log into an American Express, do you know
- 39:33Speaker 1: you're logging?
- 39:34Speaker 5: No?
- 39:34Speaker 4: I have to call my wife for that.
- 39:37Speaker 1: Text her and ask how many points you have? Okay,
- 39:39Speaker 1: what you know? What you respond in the next few minutes? Yeah, okay, text,
- 39:42Speaker 1: maybe I'll log into it.
- 39:43Speaker 10: Man, I have the information he has.
- 39:48Speaker 1: We all have our stupid read pictures up too. Oh yeah,
- 39:52Speaker 1: mine's in my well, you're you're on Amy's desk, so
- 39:54Speaker 1: you can't really can do that.
- 39:55Speaker 6: It's on my backpack.
- 39:56Speaker 1: I really thought Reid got us a nice gift because
- 39:59Speaker 1: it was like he like a week prior, is like,
- 40:02Speaker 1: I like to get some time to give you guys
- 40:04Speaker 1: your gifts.
- 40:04Speaker 4: I'm like, wow, the guy went out of amping us up.
- 40:07Speaker 1: But I got surprise for you guys, and it's all
- 40:09Speaker 1: just a picture of him. But it's sitting here.
- 40:11Speaker 4: My wife responds, not many, hold.
- 40:13Speaker 1: On, I'm just curious because I'll anybody else have American Express.
- 40:21Speaker 11: I have a Chase Sapphire and those points. I can
- 40:23Speaker 11: transfer to any airline and it's like one to one.
- 40:26Speaker 11: But I also have like a Southwest car that's like
- 40:28Speaker 11: only for Southwest, and I think like the conversion for
- 40:32Speaker 11: that's different.
- 40:33Speaker 4: But but with American Express you can buy golf clubs.
- 40:36Speaker 4: You can there's a catalog.
- 40:37Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree, and I just looked at the catalog.
- 40:39Speaker 1: Let's go, But I'm curious as to let's gool Like
- 40:42Speaker 1: it's your eight she said, eight thousand.
- 40:45Speaker 4: That sounds like a lot.
- 40:47Speaker 11: It's kind of low.
- 40:47Speaker 1: Actually, i'll tell you. I will tell you how many
- 40:50Speaker 1: I have. But let me see. I'll tell you what
- 40:51Speaker 1: eight thousand can get you, though, because I think it
- 40:57Speaker 1: tells him.
- 40:57Speaker 4: I pretty good though, that's what I think she says.
- 40:59Speaker 10: Not good.
- 41:00Speaker 1: Well, okay, boom, we gotta This is not a commercial,
- 41:06Speaker 1: by the way, I don't think American Express does anything
- 41:08Speaker 1: with us.
- 41:09Speaker 4: No, nothing.
- 41:10Speaker 1: Okay.
- 41:11Speaker 4: On the contrary, that call whenever I use it and
- 41:13Speaker 4: I'm out of town and tell my wife you know
- 41:14Speaker 4: your husband's in Vegas using your residen, Well, how are
- 41:18Speaker 4: you thinking that too much?
- 41:19Speaker 1: Yes, I have you, I'm saying on this show, oh,
- 41:20Speaker 1: this show, yeah show, yeah, yeah, yeah, No, I use obviously,
- 41:24Speaker 1: I use American Express because I'm looking at my points here, Eddie.
- 41:26Speaker 1: I can just show you my points too, if you'd
- 41:28Speaker 1: like to see.
- 41:28Speaker 4: I would love to see.
- 41:29Speaker 1: Well, not yet yet, I want to do I want
- 41:31Speaker 1: to see how much how much you can get? So
- 41:32Speaker 1: how many points do you have?
- 41:33Speaker 4: Eight thousand?
- 41:34Speaker 1: Okay, so if you have eight thousand points you can
- 41:38Speaker 1: get that's worth forty eight dollars? Right, you do it?
- 41:42Speaker 1: Did you do that?
- 41:43Speaker 10: I was just looking ten thousand points can get you
- 41:45Speaker 10: seventy dollars.
- 41:46Speaker 4: Yeay, and that's what my wife said, is not much.
- 41:48Speaker 4: It's like thirty thousand for round trip.
- 41:49Speaker 1: Do you want to see how many points I have?
- 41:51Speaker 5: Yes?
- 41:51Speaker 1: Can we guess, but you're going to guess over the
- 41:54Speaker 1: problem with that is it minimizes it not be like
- 41:58Speaker 1: not your fault, right, and if I move and I'm like,
- 42:00Speaker 1: well now, well now it's not even interesting.
- 42:03Speaker 5: I get it.
- 42:03Speaker 4: Can I see it?
- 42:06Speaker 5: Come on?
- 42:08Speaker 4: Come on? Now that I know that what was it
- 42:10Speaker 4: was mine eight thousand.
- 42:12Speaker 1: I'll text you a screenshot because I haven't thought about
- 42:17Speaker 1: what I want. I just my point is I actually just
- 42:19Speaker 1: use them instead of waiting for a rainy day.
- 42:22Speaker 4: Right, you've waited.
- 42:23Speaker 1: I've waited forever and.
- 42:24Speaker 4: It's rained a lot of days raining. Now it's raining.
- 42:29Speaker 1: I texted it to you. There it is.
- 42:32Speaker 4: Oh my goodness, Oh my goodness.
- 42:37Speaker 10: I.
- 42:38Speaker 5: Saw it.
- 42:40Speaker 1: Wow. Like if you would have guess five million it,
- 42:43Speaker 1: I've been right.
- 42:44Speaker 2: Really, you you could go to mars By that company
- 42:48Speaker 2: you buy five million.
- 42:50Speaker 1: Yeah, it's right at five million, like four million, almost
- 42:54Speaker 1: four million, nine hundred thousand.
- 42:55Speaker 4: Dude, You're probably the topic of conversations some of their
- 42:58Speaker 4: board meetings, Like guys we have problem. We have this
- 43:01Speaker 4: guy who's never uses he could buy us out.
- 43:05Speaker 1: Yeah, I should use them though, right.
- 43:08Speaker 4: Yes, I mean if you want to.
- 43:12Speaker 6: Yeah, But then it becomes like how long can I go?
- 43:14Speaker 10: Right?
- 43:15Speaker 1: Yeah, it does start to be a game.
- 43:17Speaker 4: Yeah, and you do like games.
