- 0:04Speaker 1: It's under asteroid here and for this episode, I'm going
- 0:07Speaker 1: to be giving my thoughts on gay rights. I think
- 0:14Speaker 1: Christians are better for the LTGPQ community. Yes you heard
- 0:20Speaker 1: me right, so bear with me on why Christians like
- 0:27Speaker 1: Beckett Cook and Kinzemberg are tired of the Christo fascist
- 0:32Speaker 1: homophobic jabs. They do interviews posted on Spotify and YouTube
- 0:40Speaker 1: and end up being shared on social media, setting the
- 0:43Speaker 1: record straight in their own words, Yes, homosexuality is the sin,
- 0:51Speaker 1: but shocker, we all are, including straight and priests and
- 0:58Speaker 1: pastors aren't blowing smoke when they stress love the sinner,
- 1:03Speaker 1: hate the sin. When it comes to the trans community,
- 1:09Speaker 1: I think that affirming them doing the trans woman or
- 1:14Speaker 1: woman thing is saying something is wrong with you and
- 1:19Speaker 1: that is wrong. It isn't helping them. Talking to a
- 1:24Speaker 1: therapist and establishing a relationship with God is going to
- 1:28Speaker 1: give them healing from the sources that make them have
- 1:33Speaker 1: issues with their gender identity to begin with. I don't
- 1:38Speaker 1: know about you, but I think that suggesting counseling sessions
- 1:42Speaker 1: go further than affirming them, just for it to act
- 1:47Speaker 1: as a band aid that comes off and nothing gets resolved.
- 1:52Speaker 1: The resultso risks to the body. Even taking hormones later
- 1:57Speaker 1: has potential problems, so you know there is a risk comminers,
- 2:02Speaker 1: which actual pediatricians have backed up waiting to transition. By
- 2:08Speaker 1: the way, because of how critical Huberty is to development,
- 2:13Speaker 1: quote unquote, conservative Christians are throwing chrystal fascist homophobic jabs
- 2:21Speaker 1: that arise from some of the LTGBQ community, cut off
- 2:26Speaker 1: contact from their family because some of their family speak
- 2:32Speaker 1: out and don't affirm those that say love is love.
- 2:37Speaker 1: You should be able to marry who you want. Don't
- 2:41Speaker 1: know what's up. Here's why very few gay couples are
- 2:48Speaker 1: married because they think marriage is confining. They are projecting
- 2:54Speaker 1: their own view thinking about their relationship based off perception
- 3:02Speaker 1: and word on the street. Is the Republican platform softened
- 3:07Speaker 1: it stands on gay marriage because of Trump? And gay
- 3:13Speaker 1: marriage wasn't even overturned. There are the queers for Palestine crowd.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Are there those who know what I do about the war. Yes,
- 3:31Speaker 1: but we are in sensitive times and not a stretch
- 3:35Speaker 1: to spin propaganda into fact. Don't tell me Christians are
- 3:42Speaker 1: the homophobic ones when there are former Muslims who have
- 3:47Speaker 1: converted doing interviews, getting on the subject, talking about what
- 3:54Speaker 1: happens to gay people in mostly Muslim country. To those
- 4:03Speaker 1: who say Christianity is homophobic because my former pastor said
- 4:09Speaker 1: that they're going to Hell, I would like to first
- 4:13Speaker 1: say I'm sorry you have been let down, and secondly,
- 4:23Speaker 1: go with the part of your heart that says, hey,
- 4:27Speaker 1: that is not right, and don't give up research early
- 4:36Speaker 1: Church father teachings. Priests don't bite. They wouldn't mind a
- 4:45Speaker 1: call to arrange a time to answer questions, or if
- 4:49Speaker 1: not them, find a way to talk to who heads
- 4:54Speaker 1: of what is called RCIA classes. R CIA stands for
- 5:01Speaker 1: the Right of Christian Initiation of adults and the next
- 5:07Speaker 1: one peas since chi Can Greece
