- 0:08Speaker 1: Advice. Hello, Welcome to the Naughty Eva Night Show. I'm
- 0:16Speaker 1: your host, JOm Shooter. Every Wednesday. Our friend Donnie Meetcham
- 0:19Speaker 1: from Okay Magazine dot com joins us, Donnie, are you there?
- 0:24Speaker 1: Hell below? My day is started. I'm happy to be here.
- 0:28Speaker 1: My week has really started now because I'm talking to
- 0:30Speaker 1: you so much good gossip coming up. We get Timmi
- 0:33Speaker 1: Lvaro on a crazy fight that she's in. Yes Park News,
- 0:37Speaker 1: lots of good stuff, lots of good stuff. Let's jump
- 0:40Speaker 1: right in. Hey, what time is it? My friend? It
- 0:42Speaker 1: is deep. I love your tease, Donnie. Already we couldn't
- 0:46Speaker 1: wait to get into this Demi Lovado story. So Demi
- 0:48Speaker 1: is now apologizing for accusing a yogurt store for promoting
- 0:54Speaker 1: diet culture. So she's apologizing after she called out this
- 0:58Speaker 1: yogurt store for its excessive sugar free treats. Sugar free treats.
- 1:05Speaker 1: Demi came under fire when she slammed The Big Chill
- 1:08Speaker 1: for advertising quote guilt free cookies and cakes in their
- 1:13Speaker 1: Los Angeles store and went as far as to say
- 1:16Speaker 1: they were promoting a very harmful diet culture. Now, through
- 1:20Speaker 1: Dearm exchanges with the store, they've gone back and forth.
- 1:24Speaker 1: The store did point out that it is not diet
- 1:27Speaker 1: products that they are promoting. They have a whole range
- 1:30Speaker 1: of different products. However, this was not good enough for Demi.
- 1:33Speaker 1: She was furious about this, and she said she got
- 1:35Speaker 1: triggered by seeing all this diet stuff advertised. Now she
- 1:40Speaker 1: is apologizing for that, saying, quote, I'm human, and I
- 1:43Speaker 1: talk about my struggles. I'm passionate, So I'm sorry that
- 1:48Speaker 1: I got the wrong message. I'm genuinely sorry that people
- 1:53Speaker 1: took it the wrong way. What do you think about
- 1:56Speaker 1: all this? This is blowing up, Donnie. It's got so
- 1:58Speaker 1: much bigger than I thought it would. Yeah, I'm really
- 2:00Speaker 1: torn here because I do understand damie struggle here. She
- 2:03Speaker 1: struggled with an eating disorder her whole life, so she
- 2:06Speaker 1: did feel triggered by it. But the thing is that
- 2:09Speaker 1: I think I take issue with is there are so
- 2:11Speaker 1: many companies out there. There's Ben and Jerry's, there's pink Berry.
- 2:15Speaker 1: She chose this one little froyo shop to go after
- 2:20Speaker 1: for like saying for sugar free. It's like there's just
- 2:23Speaker 1: so many options out there that she could have made
- 2:25Speaker 1: a point to choose one little company. I feel like
- 2:28Speaker 1: it was so misguided in the moment. Yeah, I think
- 2:31Speaker 1: you're right. Insiders tell me she's now actually working with
- 2:34Speaker 1: the company to try and help them. You're right. This
- 2:37Speaker 1: is like a small mom and pop type establishment. This
- 2:39Speaker 1: could really hurt their business also to inside, as friends
- 2:42Speaker 1: of Demi told me late last night, she didn't think
- 2:46Speaker 1: this through. She got triggered. She's been very open about
- 2:50Speaker 1: her eating disorders in the past. She walked in the store,
- 2:54Speaker 1: all she could see was diet, diet, Diet, diet, diet,
- 2:57Speaker 1: and it triggered her. She even left the store with
- 3:00Speaker 1: out getting any yogurts. So we know when you leave
- 3:02Speaker 1: the store without yogurt, Donnie, you know you're upset. So
- 3:05Speaker 1: she left the store without any yogurt. She didn't realize
- 3:09Speaker 1: the power of her voice. It's amazing because when we
- 3:11Speaker 1: look at somebody like a Demi Levardo and see millions
- 3:14Speaker 1: and millions of followers, we think they're very aware of
- 3:18Speaker 1: what a big star they are. Often they forget she's
- 3:21Speaker 1: just Demi. To her, she's just Demi, and she thought something.
- 3:24Speaker 1: She tweeted it, she put it out there on social
- 3:26Speaker 1: media and it exploded. Have you ever put stuff oct there, Donnie,
- 3:30Speaker 1: that's rubbed a nerve. Yes, definitely. I think when it
- 3:34Speaker 1: comes to politics of most kinds, I think, because it
- 3:37Speaker 1: even happens with us, is that, yes, we're very small
- 3:40Speaker 1: fish in a very big pond, but we do have
- 3:43Speaker 1: people who look to us for our opinions or people
- 3:45Speaker 1: that look to us. So when we put out our own,
- 3:47Speaker 1: like political stuff, it does rub people the wrong way,
- 3:50Speaker 1: or you make a point there. I don't really think
- 3:54Speaker 1: about that when I post like, obviously, we are not
- 3:57Speaker 1: Demi lov We're not Demi Moore where No, Demi's not whatsoever.
- 4:03Speaker 1: But but I don't think you can live your life
- 4:07Speaker 1: worrying about other people. Now. Am I thoughtful about what
- 4:11Speaker 1: I say and do? Yes, But I think we should
- 4:13Speaker 1: all be thoughtful people. But I'm not necessarily thoughtful about
- 4:18Speaker 1: your values or your opinions. It's my own, and I
- 4:21Speaker 1: know when I post something that it has to be
- 4:23Speaker 1: true to me. And I think Demi here was really
- 4:27Speaker 1: trying to do good. She's not a Meni. This is
- 4:30Speaker 1: not ps Morgan going after Megan Markle and trying to
- 4:34Speaker 1: get themselves in the press. Demi doesn't need any extra attention.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Although did you see you ps. Morgan did go after Demi.
- 4:40Speaker 1: He called her dumb and deluded. If that's nice, isn't it?
- 4:44Speaker 1: So this brings us to our pole question of the day.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Demi Levado is apologizing for accusing a yogurt store of
- 4:52Speaker 1: promoting diet culture? Should she have apologized? Yes? Or Noah?
- 4:56Speaker 1: Go and vote on our Twitter page. I had naughty
- 4:59Speaker 1: nice rob on Facebook pages. Now whats he gossip? You
- 5:02Speaker 1: can leave a comment there and she has a check
- 5:04Speaker 1: back tomorrow to hear your results. Dounny Love, what are
- 5:07Speaker 1: you working on? Yes? Lynn Spears objects to her ex
- 5:11Speaker 1: husband spending money for his lawyers to defend him on TV. Yes,
- 5:18Speaker 1: Lynn is Britney Spears's mom that she has issues with
- 5:21Speaker 1: her ex husband Jamie, who is Britney's conservator and has
- 5:25Speaker 1: been Britney's conservator for a long time. She's objecting to
- 5:29Speaker 1: how he's spending their daughter's money. So Brittany has another
- 5:32Speaker 1: hearing in her conservativeship legal battle. Well, now Lynn is
- 5:36Speaker 1: objecting to how he's spending the money, and she actually
- 5:40Speaker 1: filed parts saying that it's utterly excessive and it serves
- 5:44Speaker 1: no service to Britney Spears at all. So this is
- 5:47Speaker 1: what she takes objection to. He's spent nearly nine hundred
- 5:52Speaker 1: thousand dollars with a law firm that he's retained. Overall,
- 5:56Speaker 1: in total, he's spent about two million dollars of Britney
- 6:00Speaker 1: money on his lawyer fees, and Lynn has even saying
- 6:04Speaker 1: she thinks that he needs to pay that money back
- 6:06Speaker 1: and give it back to Brittney's estate. It's really wild
- 6:10Speaker 1: and this case just keeps getting messier and messier. Yeah,
- 6:13Speaker 1: the new hearings in less than a week, and she
- 6:17Speaker 1: does claim I think it's eight hundred and ninety thousand
- 6:20Speaker 1: dollars in expenses that she says his lawyer, his PR
- 6:25Speaker 1: people have been paid to defend him and this has
- 6:29Speaker 1: nothing to do with Brittany. And yet Brittany is picking
- 6:33Speaker 1: up the bill. It seems wrong, doesn't it. Meanwhile, that's
- 6:37Speaker 1: an expensive lawyer, isn't it. Although they're charged by the hour,
- 6:40Speaker 1: so we don't know how many hours they're talking about
- 6:43Speaker 1: this Also to there was a PR campaign. I saw
- 6:46Speaker 1: it on CNN and ABC. Brittney spears his father's lawyer
- 6:49Speaker 1: was on TV defending him and I was like, Oh,
- 6:52Speaker 1: I don't know what's this scot to do with Brittany.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Why is she paying for your pr campaign? He should
- 6:59Speaker 1: give some of that money back. She wants at least
- 7:01Speaker 1: the quarter of it to be returned to Brittney's estates. Also,
- 7:04Speaker 1: to let's point out, Brittney is not earning a lot
- 7:07Speaker 1: of money. Most of Brittney's money comes from performing in Vegas.
- 7:10Speaker 1: Like I hope she has good investments. But for a year,
- 7:13Speaker 1: nobody's been performing. So all these big artists have really
- 7:17Speaker 1: been staying home because of the COVID virus. In fact,
- 7:20Speaker 1: a lot of speculation is one of the reasons Ariana
- 7:23Speaker 1: Grande signed up to be a panelist to judge on
- 7:26Speaker 1: The Voice. If she wanted the money, it's twenty five
- 7:29Speaker 1: million dollars. She hasn't made a penny by shore from touring.
- 7:32Speaker 1: That's where the money is if you're not the songwriter.
- 7:34Speaker 1: As we know, Brittany did not write those hits. So
- 7:37Speaker 1: what's happening here, Donnie, is all this money is going
- 7:40Speaker 1: out every month, houses, staff, legal bills, all those expenses
- 7:45Speaker 1: are going out every month. No money is coming in,
- 7:48Speaker 1: so this can't continue forever. Britney's very wealthy, don't get
- 7:51Speaker 1: me wrong, but even wealthy people have to balance their budget.
- 7:55Speaker 1: At some point. We'll keep you in the loop. This
- 7:58Speaker 1: store is a little heartbreaking. Prince Harry will return to
- 8:02Speaker 1: the USA without speaking to his dad or his brother
- 8:06Speaker 1: one on one, so we don't know when he's planning
- 8:08Speaker 1: to fly back. It's the Queen's birthday today. Happy birthday,
- 8:12Speaker 1: your Royal Highness, so everybody hoped he would stay for
- 8:16Speaker 1: the birthday. All indications are that has happened, but he
- 8:19Speaker 1: could leave at any any moment. He's going to leave
- 8:22Speaker 1: the United Kingdom without speaking to his brother or his
- 8:26Speaker 1: dad one on one. The three of them had a
- 8:28Speaker 1: meeting together, but he's not done one on one because
- 8:31Speaker 1: page six reports they don't trust him and they felt
- 8:34Speaker 1: like they needed a witness in the room. My goodness
- 8:37Speaker 1: that they had this fear that he might twist the
- 8:39Speaker 1: account of what went down when he leaks the information
- 8:42Speaker 1: to one of his fabulous friends. I'm looking at you,
- 8:45Speaker 1: Gail or Oprah Winfrey. That is sad. If you don't
- 8:49Speaker 1: think you can be one on one with a family member,
- 8:53Speaker 1: then you shouldn't meet with them because nothing good can
- 8:55Speaker 1: come from that meeting. I agree with you. This story
- 8:58Speaker 1: is very, very sad. The fact that he can and
- 9:00Speaker 1: speak with his own brother or his own father in
- 9:04Speaker 1: a room, and you know, I hate to say it,
- 9:06Speaker 1: but I kind of agree with them and the fact
- 9:08Speaker 1: that he might not be trusted now knowing that Megan Marko,
- 9:12Speaker 1: you know, kind of spilled a lot of the secrets.
- 9:14Speaker 1: Whether they were true or not, the information is still
- 9:17Speaker 1: getting out there, so they're nervous about anything they say
- 9:21Speaker 1: could turn around and be leaked to the public. And
- 9:23Speaker 1: that's it's a very sad story. You're right. It doesn't
- 9:26Speaker 1: matter if they're true or not. The fact that it
- 9:28Speaker 1: happened is certainly a red flag to me. Obviously, if
- 9:31Speaker 1: a friend did did this, you just would stop returning
- 9:33Speaker 1: their calls or stop seeing them. Family members are more tricky.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Have you ever had to meet anybody one on one
- 9:38Speaker 1: that's made you uncomfortable? I have because of what I
- 9:41Speaker 1: do for a living, and you do too, Donnie. As
- 9:44Speaker 1: gossip columnists, as writers, as entertainment reporters. I always meet
- 9:48Speaker 1: people in public places just for my safety, forget verbally
- 9:51Speaker 1: what they might say or what they might leak. Also
- 9:53Speaker 1: to I think the power of these iPhones is remarkable,
- 9:58Speaker 1: and I don't record people into the table I put
- 10:00Speaker 1: it on when I'm interviewing you. I was like, oh,
- 10:01Speaker 1: can I hit record? I hit record. I don't turn
- 10:04Speaker 1: the thing off. I don't until you leave, because you
- 10:06Speaker 1: never know. I've honestly, I've interviewed people and on camera,
- 10:11Speaker 1: not just in person, on camera, and I've got a
- 10:14Speaker 1: legal letter. I once interviewed Tiffany Trump, long before her
- 10:18Speaker 1: dad ran for president. I got a legal letter from
- 10:20Speaker 1: Michael Cohen from the Trump organization. I wish I had
- 10:23Speaker 1: saved it. I know I threw it out, but I
- 10:25Speaker 1: wish I had saved it. She was on camera this
- 10:27Speaker 1: said I ambushed her. I said, she signed a release.
- 10:30Speaker 1: We paid for her hair and makeup and paid for
- 10:32Speaker 1: her car. You have to be careful. Imagine if that
- 10:36Speaker 1: was a family member. Oh it's just awful, isn't it?
- 10:39Speaker 1: Also to the Queen has made some changes today for
- 10:42Speaker 1: her ninety birthday. So normally her majesty reveals a new
- 10:46Speaker 1: portrait that is not going to happen this year. No
- 10:49Speaker 1: new portrait too bad to celebrate this milestone birthday. It's
- 10:55Speaker 1: the first birthday the Queen's going to be spending without
- 10:59Speaker 1: her her and by her side. She will be surrounded
- 11:03Speaker 1: by staff and her three beloved dogs at Windsor Castle.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Family members are going to be coming throughout the day
- 11:10Speaker 1: to say happy birthday. Oh I do hope, Harry, I
- 11:15Speaker 1: hope you're one. Will let you know all those details tomorrow.
- 11:19Speaker 1: What is going on with the Sharon Osborne? It never
- 11:22Speaker 1: ends this story. Whatspp the talk? The talk? These ladies
- 11:25Speaker 1: are definitely talking. So Holly Robinson Pete, who remember was
- 11:30Speaker 1: a co host of the Toss Rhy many years ago,
- 11:33Speaker 1: kind of around it when it first started. She's responding
- 11:36Speaker 1: to Sharon. So Sharon Osborne was talking to Bill Maher
- 11:41Speaker 1: and apparently word got back to Holly Robinson Pete that
- 11:44Speaker 1: Sharon called her and Leah Rimony, who was also a
- 11:47Speaker 1: former co host of The Talk, disgruntled ladies. So Holly,
- 11:52Speaker 1: what does she do? She takes a Twitter, of course,
- 11:55Speaker 1: and she fires back and she goes So I'm told
- 11:57Speaker 1: this lady not calling her by name, never cold, he
- 12:01Speaker 1: never go told Bill Maher that Leah Remedy and I
- 12:03Speaker 1: are both disgruntled because I didn't watch. Did Bill, who
- 12:08Speaker 1: knows us both, pushed back or did he coddle and commiserate? Well,
- 12:13Speaker 1: this is the problem I have with that only to say,
- 12:15Speaker 1: you say you didn't watch, but then why are you
- 12:17Speaker 1: throwing it out there? Thing that she called you something?
- 12:20Speaker 1: Could you do that to me? You do that? To
- 12:22Speaker 1: do that? It's like when the Housewives get fired and
- 12:24Speaker 1: Bethany is too busy on a Tuesday to watch anything
- 12:27Speaker 1: like I love. When they tweet that like anything good
- 12:29Speaker 1: on TV tonight, I was like, you know what, stop
- 12:32Speaker 1: being so silly about it. This is just going to
- 12:34Speaker 1: go on and on. Sharon's gonna respond, Then they're going
- 12:36Speaker 1: to respond at some point. I think we get bored
- 12:39Speaker 1: by the whole thing. But the easiest way to stop
- 12:43Speaker 1: the shop. Maybe Sharon's enjoying it. The easiest way to
- 12:45Speaker 1: stop it is to stop talking about it, Sharon is.
- 12:48Speaker 1: It's sort of it's sort of, in my opinion, falls
- 12:50Speaker 1: upon your shoulders here, Sharon. If you just shut up,
- 12:53Speaker 1: then the others just look like they're rattling on and
- 12:55Speaker 1: there's no real story there. I think that's the quickest
- 12:58Speaker 1: way to get to that, and quickly before we go
- 13:01Speaker 1: to break. Kanye West is annoyed by reports about Kim Kardashian,
- 13:06Speaker 1: which seemed to imply she pulled the plug on the divorce,
- 13:10Speaker 1: not him. Obviously, the Kardashians have a huge spin pon
- 13:16Speaker 1: that she but it's annoying to him and it's a
- 13:19Speaker 1: constant present as they get divorced. They did point out
- 13:23Speaker 1: to it was actually Kanye that for months was saying
- 13:27Speaker 1: he wanted nothing to do with the family anymore. He
- 13:29Speaker 1: called her mother a white nationalist, like I mean, he didn't,
- 13:33Speaker 1: he wasn't subtled about this, Donny. And now it's been
- 13:36Speaker 1: presented that she she pulled the plug on the on
- 13:40Speaker 1: the marriage. He is pushing back, Kanye, I think you've
- 13:44Speaker 1: got bigger troubles. What do you think? I mean? This
- 13:47Speaker 1: is the tell tell signs of a narcissist, the fact
- 13:50Speaker 1: that you are so bothered that some people are reporting
- 13:53Speaker 1: that it was Kim who filed for divorce versus you
- 13:56Speaker 1: filed for divorce. You filed for a divorce. Both of
- 13:58Speaker 1: you are getting divorce. And actually, if you look at
- 14:00Speaker 1: the legal papers, the legal papers are Kim did fire.
- 14:05Speaker 1: You can't. You can't argue that he did say some
- 14:10Speaker 1: awful things for months, and he did seem like he
- 14:12Speaker 1: wanted to get out of the relationship, particularly when he
- 14:14Speaker 1: was running for president. It reminds me of school, or
- 14:17Speaker 1: there's young romances where you're like, I didn't break up
- 14:20Speaker 1: with her, she broke She didn't break up with me.
- 14:22Speaker 1: I broke up with him and he didn't break up
- 14:23Speaker 1: with Oh, please you to get it together. Hey, we're
- 14:28Speaker 1: going to take a quick bag and we will be
- 14:30Speaker 1: right back. Welcome back to that not even I show.
- 14:36Speaker 1: I'm your host Frum shooting with our friend Donnie meat chum. Hey, Donnie,
- 14:39Speaker 1: let's get to the polls. So yesterday we talked about
- 14:44Speaker 1: lip readers. That's right, lip readers have deciphered what Prince
- 14:49Speaker 1: William and Prince Harry said to each other at Prince
- 14:51Speaker 1: Philip's funer roule. So do you want to know what
- 14:54Speaker 1: they said? Or should we just leave them alone? And
- 14:58Speaker 1: sixty two oh said leave them alone? Donny where are you?
- 15:05Speaker 1: And nosey as hell? I want to know exactly what
- 15:07Speaker 1: they said. I want to know every if everybody goes
- 15:11Speaker 1: what does she wearing? I want to know what he
- 15:12Speaker 1: is said, what does he say? I know, I want
- 15:14Speaker 1: to know everything I said. Now I might I might
- 15:16Speaker 1: have said leave them alone on the pole though, to
- 15:18Speaker 1: make myself feel a bit better because it was a
- 15:20Speaker 1: few wrong, but we should remember to It was televised,
- 15:23Speaker 1: so it wasn't like radar grabbed them, you know, hid
- 15:28Speaker 1: under the organ in the church and Donnie popped out
- 15:30Speaker 1: with his iPhone. Actually that he was was televised by
- 15:34Speaker 1: the BBC, so they knew they were being watched. So
- 15:37Speaker 1: I think I disagree with the majority, which I normally
- 15:41Speaker 1: don't do. Hey, don't forget to vote on today's pole.
- 15:45Speaker 1: You can get to our page at Naughty Nice rab
- 15:47Speaker 1: Our facebook page is Naughty gussip and be sure to
- 15:49Speaker 1: check back tomorrow to hear your results. And now it's
- 15:53Speaker 1: time for the nicest of the day. The names he
- 15:59Speaker 1: said day, it's actually Anderson Cooper and his son Wyatt.
- 16:05Speaker 1: So Anderson has been guest hosteeing Jeopardy, which he has
- 16:08Speaker 1: been a thrill to do and he's been so honored
- 16:10Speaker 1: to do. And he shared a picture of his little
- 16:12Speaker 1: baby boy, who turns one this month. Hard to believe
- 16:15Speaker 1: a little white has already on Times pun By and
- 16:19Speaker 1: he said why it has never seen me on TV
- 16:21Speaker 1: before and he likely won't for a long time, but
- 16:24Speaker 1: apparently he caught a bit of me on Jeopardy, and
- 16:27Speaker 1: he showed a picture of little Wyat watching his dad,
- 16:30Speaker 1: and it's so sweet. He's one. I doubt he knew
- 16:32Speaker 1: that what his dad was doing, but he knew that
- 16:34Speaker 1: that was his dad. And he's not watching CNN, so
- 16:37Speaker 1: let's good he's not watching that. But it's very sweet moment.
- 16:41Speaker 1: And it's a very touching. That's a father's son moment
- 16:44Speaker 1: that he'll never do horrible. It's adorable, Nat. I think
- 16:47Speaker 1: Anderson starts on Jeoparty this week, So it was, let
- 16:51Speaker 1: me be a little cynical, a little bit of a
- 16:53Speaker 1: pr push to Mat say, and was the sun just
- 16:56Speaker 1: happened to be sitting on a bed. It's not a
- 16:58Speaker 1: crib and the TV was on Channel seven in New
- 17:01Speaker 1: York at seven o'clock. I mean it's just you know,
- 17:04Speaker 1: see an ends only an hour later. So the little
- 17:07Speaker 1: boys dressed up. I mean, he's not picking his nose.
- 17:09Speaker 1: It's a beautiful shot. Anderson looks lovely. I mean, do
- 17:13Speaker 1: you think Anderson took the picture because he doesn't tape
- 17:16Speaker 1: it live? Probably Andy Cohen took the picture. This will
- 17:20Speaker 1: be the best PR for you doing Jeopardy. And we
- 17:22Speaker 1: want to get those numbers up because what's his name?
- 17:25Speaker 1: Rogers did really well. The football player. Doctor Ozzy's numbers
- 17:28Speaker 1: were terrible. I know, I saw them. Not very good.
- 17:30Speaker 1: Doctor os is the lowest so far. I know. Do
- 17:34Speaker 1: you think Anderson will do good? Do you think the
- 17:36Speaker 1: ratings will be high? I don't know. I think they
- 17:38Speaker 1: will be because I think what people like with Jeopardy.
- 17:40Speaker 1: The problem with doctor os is he's not known for
- 17:43Speaker 1: being like stoic or like very plain, and I think
- 17:46Speaker 1: that's what people like when they want a Jeopardy Hills.
- 17:49Speaker 1: They just want you to answer the question, to say,
- 17:52Speaker 1: get out of the way of the show, stop making
- 17:54Speaker 1: it about you. Well, I don't know, we'll let you
- 17:57Speaker 1: know next week. About those numbers is an endorable picture.
- 17:59Speaker 1: And now it's time and Naughtice of the Day. No
- 18:02Speaker 1: Coulton Underwood here you used to have a crush on.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Donnie will check in on that in a moment. There's
- 18:08Speaker 1: not a petition to cancel his Netflix series. Change dot
- 18:13Speaker 1: Org has a petition up and so far it's received
- 18:17Speaker 1: twenty five thousand signature. As we spoke out about this
- 18:20Speaker 1: show on our show, very controversial. People seem to be
- 18:24Speaker 1: very happy that Colton has come out of the closet.
- 18:27Speaker 1: What has rubbed a lot of people the wrong way,
- 18:30Speaker 1: particularly people in the gay community. Is he seems to
- 18:32Speaker 1: be profiting from this, and the day that he came
- 18:35Speaker 1: out was the day they announced he had got a
- 18:38Speaker 1: show coming out. This can be a very tricky thing
- 18:40Speaker 1: for for lots of people coming out the closet, it's
- 18:43Speaker 1: not easy, and for him to be celebrated and rewarded
- 18:48Speaker 1: with the TV show has rubbed a lot of people
- 18:51Speaker 1: the wrong way. Now, I know you had a crush
- 18:53Speaker 1: on him, Where are you with the crush first? So
- 18:56Speaker 1: here's the thing. This is very tricky because it was
- 18:59Speaker 1: a harmless crush. He was on the show. I gushed
- 19:01Speaker 1: about him, I went on and on and on. I
- 19:04Speaker 1: don't know him personally, so I still think he could
- 19:07Speaker 1: possibly be a wonderful guy. But I do see where
- 19:10Speaker 1: people are coming from. Just because he came out of
- 19:12Speaker 1: the closet does not disavow the fact that, yes, he
- 19:15Speaker 1: did stalk and harass Cassie Randolph. He did do these things.
- 19:20Speaker 1: Some people are yes, granted second chances. They're allowed to
- 19:24Speaker 1: explain himself. He has not really done that when it
- 19:27Speaker 1: comes to that part. But I also do know as
- 19:30Speaker 1: a gay man it is very hard being gay, especially
- 19:33Speaker 1: in the South, and being around Christianity, and he should
- 19:36Speaker 1: be allowed to explore his own journey. Yeah. I think
- 19:39Speaker 1: he can help himself here by inviting Cassie to come
- 19:42Speaker 1: on the Netflix show and have a conversation with her.
- 19:45Speaker 1: I think that's something that would help him out here.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Twenty five thousand people have signed the petition, and quickly
- 19:53Speaker 1: before we go, it's time for a moment of rob
- 19:56Speaker 1: you get, Darling. Living a lie is not an act
- 20:01Speaker 1: that you can keep up for very long. Sooner or later,
- 20:05Speaker 1: the truth always does come out. Living a lie, it
- 20:08Speaker 1: feels like you're under a spell, a wicked speller that
- 20:11Speaker 1: can only be broken by finding true love's kiss. And
- 20:15Speaker 1: that's from you give yourself a big kiss. Tell the truth.
- 20:21Speaker 1: Don't live a lie. No, I think it's beautiful. I
- 20:24Speaker 1: think it's a little thing we go back to, I mean,
- 20:26Speaker 1: a giant thing of like being gay. We all lived
- 20:28Speaker 1: that lie and it destructed us. And the truth always
- 20:31Speaker 1: comes out. Even when you lie to a friend with
- 20:34Speaker 1: something harmless about I can't hang out on somewhere else.
- 20:37Speaker 1: They see a picture of you hanging out with somebody.
- 20:39Speaker 1: Little lies like that always come to the surface. Don't
- 20:43Speaker 1: do it, don't lie openly, don't do it. You are right.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Being in the classic all those years can really damage.
- 20:49Speaker 1: Somebody turns you into a liar, and you've got to
- 20:52Speaker 1: reprogram your brain to stop lying and to be honest.
- 20:56Speaker 1: And once you do, life gets better. Hey, Donnie, life
- 21:00Speaker 1: is always better when you're around. Thank you so much
