POSTCAST: David Peterson's Struggles CONTINUE, Sink Mets In HORRIBLE Weekend
David Peterson struggled. The New York Mets continued to fall behind early. And it was a bad weekend in Philly, as the Mets fell Sunday night 6-2.
It felt like just a continuation of what we all watched Saturday night. Sloppy play and rough starting pitching paved the way for the Philadelphia Phillies to jump out to a 5-0 lead by the end of the second inning.
And, the chances the Mets did have to mount a comeback fell short. Perhaps the only bright spot from the weekend was Carson Benge hitting homers in back to back games.
POSTCAST host Chris Schubert breaks down all the action.
