- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome to all you faithfuls and traders. Another episode of
- 0:03Speaker 1: By Order of the Faithful swells here alongside the lovely
- 0:07Speaker 1: Dolores Catana.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Hi, wells, how are you?
- 0:10Speaker 1: I'm doing great. I actually my bank accounts a little lighter.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Why would you do? What did you purchase?
- 0:17Speaker 1: Oh? What I did? It's what my dog did yesterday?
- 0:21Speaker 1: What she owes me four thousand dollars? She ate an
- 0:26Speaker 1: entire can of baking cocoa powder. Oh, yeah, which you
- 0:33Speaker 1: know it's chocolate?
- 0:36Speaker 2: Is so you had to induce vomiting? Oh, in the hospital.
- 0:41Speaker 1: He's at the emergency room right now, right now. Don't worry.
- 0:45Speaker 1: She's okay. But she owes me a lot of money
- 0:48Speaker 1: because it was a lot. First of all, the carpet
- 0:52Speaker 1: is destroyed.
- 0:53Speaker 2: You know how you induce vomiting, Make them drink peroxide.
- 0:57Speaker 1: I did that. I I dipped some bread in some
- 1:00Speaker 1: peroxide and I made her eat it. And on the
- 1:04Speaker 1: way to the emergency room, she threw up so much chocolate.
- 1:12Speaker 1: She ate a hole?
- 1:15Speaker 2: What jar? What is it?
- 1:17Speaker 1: Yeah, it was like eight ounces of powdered chocolate that
- 1:20Speaker 1: she ate.
- 1:20Speaker 2: So bell could going down though, Yeah.
- 1:24Speaker 1: You know, I hope it was worth it. It was
- 1:26Speaker 1: the most expensive jar of chocolate in the entire world.
- 1:29Speaker 2: That's like gold leaf diva.
- 1:33Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly, you look all you look all dulled up?
- 1:39Speaker 1: Were you were you filming today?
- 1:40Speaker 3: No, I'm doing some content, is what I was doing,
- 1:43Speaker 3: catching up on some things.
- 1:46Speaker 2: And uh yeah, so so that's that.
- 1:49Speaker 3: I'm actually doing some content for a pet food as
- 1:53Speaker 3: soon as I get done with you.
- 1:55Speaker 1: So chocolate flavored.
- 1:56Speaker 3: It is not chocolate flavored, but but it's Gabrielle Catana,
- 2:00Speaker 3: doctor Gabby approved.
- 2:02Speaker 2: Oh but it's very good. And I'll let you know
- 2:05Speaker 2: about it. I'll let you know how it is.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Yeah, tell me the brand. I love dog food.
- 2:11Speaker 3: Pets table, the pets table. Okay, yeah, so so she
- 2:17Speaker 3: loved it. She's actually keeping it for her dogs and
- 2:19Speaker 3: she'll be feeding her dogs with it.
- 2:21Speaker 2: For now on I do.
- 2:22Speaker 1: I do Farmer's Dog But if this is good, let
- 2:24Speaker 1: me know and I'll switch.
- 2:25Speaker 2: To the table. Is good, she said, the ingredients are amazing.
- 2:29Speaker 1: All right, I'm sure that all the listeners out there
- 2:31Speaker 1: don't give a crap about our dogs, but they do
- 2:33Speaker 1: give a crap about Dancing with the Stars. The next
- 2:37Speaker 1: pro we are in episode six and I feel like
- 2:40Speaker 1: this is kind of where the rubber meets the road. Dolores,
- 2:43Speaker 1: It's like.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Well, I never heard that saying before, but I'll be
- 2:46Speaker 2: using it now.
- 2:48Speaker 3: So explain the Robbert meets the road. What does that mean? Like,
- 2:53Speaker 3: I know what it means, but I explain it to me.
- 2:56Speaker 1: What like for this episode, right, it's the episode where
- 2:59Speaker 1: they bring in quote unquote what the celebrities would be, right,
- 3:03Speaker 1: which are novice dancers, and they have to teach them,
- 3:07Speaker 1: you know, how to dance, teach them the number, get
- 3:10Speaker 1: them ready, do all the.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Corey corey Yeah.
- 3:14Speaker 1: And so for me, like rubber meets the road, Like
- 3:16Speaker 1: this is where it gets like really serious, because if
- 3:18Speaker 1: you're trying, if the whole thing is you're trying to
- 3:20Speaker 1: find someone to become a pro on Dancing with the Stars,
- 3:24Speaker 1: you need to know that they're good at this thing,
- 3:27Speaker 1: which is teaching people who can't dance how to dance.
- 3:30Speaker 2: So they save this for last.
- 3:32Speaker 3: They save this where you are so mentally yeah and
- 3:36Speaker 3: physically drained, and now you're down to the wire and
- 3:41Speaker 3: you're kind of scared, like who's going home next? And
- 3:45Speaker 3: they did they this is where the rubber meets the road.
- 3:49Speaker 3: For sure, and it did.
- 3:52Speaker 1: It did for someone, It absolutely did. So the show
- 3:55Speaker 1: starts with Robert welcoming Shirley and Mark out. Bob reminds
- 4:01Speaker 1: the five contestants that the finale just right around the corner.
- 4:05Speaker 1: And this week's judge is one of my favorite of
- 4:08Speaker 1: the pros, Whitney Carson. She's a lovely person. I've gotten
- 4:10Speaker 1: to meet her before, and she's very pretty.
- 4:12Speaker 2: She looks like Madison Lacroix a little bit.
- 4:15Speaker 1: She doesn't look real. She's like, you know, she looks
- 4:18Speaker 1: like a supermodel.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Do any of the pro dancers look real to you? There?
- 4:23Speaker 2: The beauty.
- 4:24Speaker 1: What's crazy is she had a kid not too long
- 4:26Speaker 1: ago and she looks.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Out, So did you have to really ruin it for me?
- 4:30Speaker 1: I'm just like, I don't even know how, Like physically,
- 4:33Speaker 1: I guess if you're dancing every single day and doing
- 4:35Speaker 1: that much cardio, that's why you have like zero body fat.
- 4:38Speaker 1: But anyways, Whitney's awesome. She's obviously like one of the best,
- 4:41Speaker 1: and obviously very near and dear to Robert's heart. Because
- 4:45Speaker 1: did they.
- 4:45Speaker 3: Say they will they danced together? And did she win twice?
- 4:48Speaker 3: Did I hear them say that?
- 4:50Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 4:50Speaker 1: She's won twice, I believe. Yeah, and she won with Robert.
- 4:53Speaker 3: Yes, and uh, he gets so excited about everything like
- 4:59Speaker 3: his father.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:01Speaker 3: And you know, sadly his father left him us all
- 5:04Speaker 3: too soon, but he was such a baby. It's amazing
- 5:09Speaker 3: to me that he is so much like him in
- 5:13Speaker 3: every way. And the enthusiasm is right there.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean you can see so much of Steve
- 5:21Speaker 1: shining through in Robert, which is which is really nice.
- 5:24Speaker 1: And yeah he is he's like, I got a zest
- 5:26Speaker 1: for everything. And this hosting thing is is very very good.
- 5:30Speaker 1: So this this theme this week is teaching an amateur.
- 5:35Speaker 1: They will be dancing a ballroom routine with social media
- 5:39Speaker 1: influencers that are fans of the show. This is I
- 5:42Speaker 1: think a little bit of like boxing with kit gloves, right,
- 5:47Speaker 1: Like these guys are all one very very familiar with
- 5:51Speaker 1: the show and to their kind of like all TikTok dancers,
- 5:54Speaker 1: So they're kind of good at dancing, not.
- 5:57Speaker 3: Real they're not formally really formally trained in any way. Yeah,
- 6:01Speaker 3: and you can tell, like sometimes people lie about it.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Sometimes people have.
- 6:08Speaker 3: Some type of you know, dance training or something in
- 6:12Speaker 3: their backgrounds. You can tell that there was not that
- 6:16Speaker 3: wasn't the case here, so it was really hard for them.
- 6:20Speaker 3: I think when they chose who was going to be
- 6:24Speaker 3: their partners for their hardest challenge, I believe they chose
- 6:29Speaker 3: well because they really gave it to them.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Yeah, but like, think about it, when you become a pro,
- 6:35Speaker 1: you're going to be paired with people who have absolutelyslutely
- 6:39Speaker 1: no dance acumen or background, like you'll have like a
- 6:42Speaker 1: basketball player who like has never danced other than.
- 6:45Speaker 3: Always though wells And I've said it before, just one
- 6:49Speaker 3: per Charlie d'milio.
- 6:51Speaker 2: Yeah, even our Gabby Wendy.
- 6:53Speaker 3: She was a cheerleader for you know, many years, and
- 6:58Speaker 3: she was able to remember steps and keep her movements
- 7:02Speaker 3: tight and do that.
- 7:03Speaker 2: That's more than me.
- 7:05Speaker 3: As you'll see. Stay tuned for next season. I hope
- 7:09Speaker 3: you watch the show.
- 7:11Speaker 1: What Housewives Are Dancing with the Stars.
- 7:13Speaker 3: Housewives like you did do something this season that will
- 7:18Speaker 3: show you how I absolutely never had any training and
- 7:23Speaker 3: there were girls in the group that did.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:27Speaker 2: Oh yeah, it's very hard starting from scratch.
- 7:30Speaker 1: They're cheaters. So Robert reminds the dancers that they've already
- 7:35Speaker 1: made a random draw for their partners and announces each
- 7:38Speaker 1: of the partnerships. So you have aj and Bailey they're
- 7:41Speaker 1: doing the Waltz, Selena and Jeremy doing the quick step,
- 7:44Speaker 1: Alan and Zara doing the Waltz, Adele and Anthony doing
- 7:48Speaker 1: the tango, and Nina and Ja doing the fox trot
- 7:51Speaker 1: right off the bat, just from like looking at these
- 7:56Speaker 1: social media influencers, what team do you think is the strongest?
- 8:01Speaker 2: So I thought more.
- 8:05Speaker 3: Of Nina because she's talks about how she teaches, right,
- 8:12Speaker 3: So I said, oh, well, you know, I think that she's.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Going to do good. Yeah, but that wasn't the case here.
- 8:22Speaker 1: That was a big swing and a miss. I'll tell
- 8:24Speaker 1: you who I really liked.
- 8:26Speaker 2: Are you going to say a Dell again because you
- 8:28Speaker 2: say a Dell every week?
- 8:29Speaker 1: Well? No, she Well she's going to win this thing.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Let's stop pretending that she's not going to win this thing.
- 8:35Speaker 1: She is the best every single week. But I tell
- 8:38Speaker 1: you I did like. I really liked Jeremy. He was
- 8:43Speaker 1: Selena's partner on the quick Step. He's a bigger guy
- 8:46Speaker 1: with like a lot of flair and a lot of
- 8:48Speaker 1: exciting close calls.
- 8:49Speaker 3: She almost went home with him, but he was so
- 8:52Speaker 3: cute and I think his personality made up for.
- 8:57Speaker 2: The you know, lack of step that they had.
- 9:01Speaker 3: Yeah, the judges do not like when you do not follow,
- 9:06Speaker 3: it could go wrong.
- 9:06Speaker 2: Here's the thing what I've learned. The judges like.
- 9:09Speaker 3: If it goes good, the judges love it that you
- 9:11Speaker 3: took on your own. If it goes bad, the judges
- 9:14Speaker 3: are hammering you. And that is the excuse to get
- 9:17Speaker 3: rid of you. You did not follow directions.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Yeah, don't you think you know? This was a funny
- 9:22Speaker 1: episode watching all these guys dance because this was a
- 9:27Speaker 1: good example of me not really knowing what's good and
- 9:30Speaker 1: what's not good. Because I thought every one and I
- 9:32Speaker 1: was like, that was good, that was great, and then
- 9:35Speaker 1: surely would come in and be like you didn't do this,
- 9:37Speaker 1: or you missed the brief, or like you were slow
- 9:39Speaker 1: here or fast here. Where. I'm like, I'm really impressed
- 9:43Speaker 1: with everyone. They learned this in two days.
- 9:45Speaker 3: It's safe to say I don't think you and I
- 9:47Speaker 3: Wells will be getting called for this gig anytime soon.
- 9:52Speaker 3: I realized the other day I was giving myself a
- 9:54Speaker 3: vitamin shot in my butt.
- 9:56Speaker 2: Yeah, and I could turn all the way.
- 9:58Speaker 3: This way to do it, but I can it left, Like,
- 10:03Speaker 3: I'm not flexible enough to give it to me in
- 10:06Speaker 3: my left side, So every time I give myself a shot,
- 10:09Speaker 3: it's in the same spot. But I just thought you
- 10:12Speaker 3: wanted to know that in case I ever had to
- 10:14Speaker 3: be flexible.
- 10:15Speaker 1: All right, no shots in your left side.
- 10:21Speaker 2: I'd like, I can only go this far up. Yeah
- 10:24Speaker 2: it stops, but look at this, yoh yeah, like an.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Athlete, great motion going right.
- 10:30Speaker 2: I could be a golfer, Like, as long as I'm
- 10:32Speaker 2: only swinging like this.
- 10:34Speaker 1: Yeah, you're like a NASCAR driver. You can only go
- 10:37Speaker 1: one way.
- 10:39Speaker 3: I'd be driving in circles all day.
- 10:49Speaker 2: Rehearsal day one.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Yeah, rehearsal day one. This is interesting to see, like
- 10:53Speaker 1: everyone's different teaching style. Adele and Anthony get to work.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Adele hope and that he'd be her partner because he
- 11:03Speaker 1: looks like he can dance. Do you think he looks
- 11:05Speaker 1: like he can dance? Now? Really?
- 11:07Speaker 2: Did you see his tiktoks?
- 11:08Speaker 3: I wonder if they saw their tiktoks? His tiktoks were
- 11:11Speaker 3: like not like the other ones. Yeah, you know, I
- 11:17Speaker 3: think he was less of a dancer than anyone. But
- 11:21Speaker 3: I felt like she was being so mean when she
- 11:24Speaker 3: was teaching him, Like, if someone talks to me like that,
- 11:26Speaker 3: I'll walk right out.
- 11:27Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that this is that's an interesting take
- 11:32Speaker 1: because I think that I think that she's Russian, she
- 11:35Speaker 1: or some sort of Baltic situation, and I feel like
- 11:38Speaker 1: they're very stern. Like I know that my wife was
- 11:41Speaker 1: taught by Ukrainian dance teachers for ballet, and she was like,
- 11:46Speaker 1: they are rigid, they are serious, they are mean, and
- 11:49Speaker 1: I imagine that she's got like a little bit of
- 11:51Speaker 1: that in her.
- 11:53Speaker 3: So at one point in my life, that's how you
- 11:56Speaker 3: could have talked to me and I would have learned.
- 11:58Speaker 3: But now I'm going to be triggered and I'm going
- 12:01Speaker 3: to be nasty.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Yeah, And.
- 12:04Speaker 3: The other teachers weren't speaking to their students like this.
- 12:08Speaker 3: I noticed the other teachers were very complimentary. They're like, no,
- 12:11Speaker 3: you got this, you could do this. She was rough,
- 12:14Speaker 3: and here's where she was smart. She was teaching the
- 12:20Speaker 3: dance instead of teaching the posture and spending time on
- 12:23Speaker 3: the fundamental things that we teach, and like that's what.
- 12:29Speaker 2: Nina was doing.
- 12:30Speaker 3: Like Nina was worried about posture and things like that,
- 12:32Speaker 3: but never worried about teaching him the dance, and then
- 12:35Speaker 3: you didn't have time for mistakes.
- 12:37Speaker 2: You have two days to teach these people something.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Yeah, this is Selena's first time teaching a quick step.
- 12:43Speaker 1: Jeremy loves show stopping moments and he used to doing
- 12:47Speaker 1: lifts and tricks. He's a big guy who's very.
- 12:49Speaker 2: Ch I saw what the he picked up a whole
- 12:52Speaker 2: wheelchair chair, Yeah, and spun it around.
- 12:55Speaker 1: He's strong, I know, and you know he wants to
- 12:58Speaker 1: be able to do that, but unfortunately, I think I
- 13:00Speaker 1: don't think the dance really kind of allows you to
- 13:02Speaker 1: do that. But she kind of like says like, yeah,
- 13:06Speaker 1: let's throw something in.
- 13:07Speaker 2: Listen. That almost cost her the dance, the spot. She's
- 13:11Speaker 2: so lucky. If Nina did it go so bad that
- 13:17Speaker 2: she would have been the one to go.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Jeremy the partner, because he was so gagarious and enigmatic
- 13:25Speaker 1: and like fun to watch. I feel like that was
- 13:28Speaker 1: what tipped the scales for Selena not going home in
- 13:31Speaker 1: comparison to Nina.
- 13:33Speaker 2: But you know what, though Jay was so cute.
- 13:36Speaker 1: I know he was.
- 13:37Speaker 2: He was so cute too. He was just as just
- 13:39Speaker 2: as adorable.
- 13:41Speaker 1: Yeah, Alan's been teaching for many years so this is
- 13:45Speaker 1: kind of easy for him. He wants to keep the
- 13:47Speaker 1: routine simple so that Zara's dance skills can shine, which
- 13:50Speaker 1: they did. They did absolutely. Bailey notices that AJ's teaching
- 13:54Speaker 1: style is very fast. She has minimal dance experience from
- 13:57Speaker 1: her drill team, but she has no ballroom experience.
- 14:01Speaker 2: Well, she still has something more than I do.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Absolutely. What did you think about AJ's teaching style?
- 14:10Speaker 2: I think it was good.
- 14:11Speaker 3: I think it was I think that he gave her
- 14:18Speaker 3: a lot of confidence. He spoke very nice to her.
- 14:21Speaker 3: He didn't worry about the little things so much. Yeah,
- 14:25Speaker 3: and it showed because the people that were really worried
- 14:29Speaker 3: about that almost didn't do so great.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Here's my question to you, what do you think that
- 14:36Speaker 1: they're looking for more with their dancer. Do you think
- 14:40Speaker 1: they're looking for someone who's a really really good dancer
- 14:44Speaker 1: or do you think they're looking for someone who's really
- 14:46Speaker 1: really good at teaching people how to dance?
- 14:49Speaker 2: Well? Both, I don't think.
- 14:51Speaker 3: I think that the people here are such amazing dancers.
- 14:55Speaker 3: They're the best, and like do I want to say
- 14:58Speaker 3: the world I don't know, But you have to be
- 15:02Speaker 3: if you're in this, you have to be good just
- 15:06Speaker 3: as good at every single thing you're doing. Yeah, every
- 15:09Speaker 3: single dance, every single thing. There's no room to not
- 15:14Speaker 3: be good at something here.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, Nina's kind of the weak link here.
- 15:20Speaker 1: She places a large emphasis on the form of Jay
- 15:24Speaker 1: and their foxtrot, and she even you know, puts like
- 15:27Speaker 1: blocks on his elbows. She like fixes his posture with
- 15:32Speaker 1: like a rope.
- 15:33Speaker 3: This is where being a teacher and being taught something
- 15:37Speaker 3: hurts you, you know how like when you go somewhere
- 15:40Speaker 3: and they're like, we don't want you to know how
- 15:43Speaker 3: to do it, we want to teach you from the
- 15:45Speaker 3: like just from the ground up.
- 15:47Speaker 2: Yeah, because it's easier.
- 15:49Speaker 3: I think being a teacher hurt her here because she
- 15:52Speaker 3: was so worried about what she was, how she was
- 15:54Speaker 3: taught to teach, or how she typically taught when when
- 15:58Speaker 3: she's doing that with her students, she doesn't all have
- 16:00Speaker 3: two days to make them a dancer.
- 16:02Speaker 1: Yeah. I think that her issue came with time management.
- 16:05Speaker 1: If they had a week to do, then yeah, great,
- 16:07Speaker 1: let's go over posture to make sure you know the
- 16:09Speaker 1: lines are correct and everything. But if you only have
- 16:11Speaker 1: two days, you got to learn choreo, right.
- 16:15Speaker 3: Which was Adele's thing. That was the biggest. That's what
- 16:19Speaker 3: Adele did.
- 16:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:21Speaker 3: Uh.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Back at the house, the five contestants talk about their
- 16:23Speaker 1: days and how rehearsals are going. Alan says that Zara
- 16:27Speaker 1: was able to pick up the choreo in forty five minutes.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Nina realizes that she was so focused on Jay's posture
- 16:33Speaker 1: that they are a little bit behind. You can see
- 16:36Speaker 1: it in her face.
- 16:37Speaker 2: So tell me, did you think they were going to
- 16:39Speaker 2: lose at this point?
- 16:40Speaker 1: Yeah, one hundred percent, you did.
- 16:42Speaker 2: It was so early to tell.
- 16:44Speaker 1: I mean, could us.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Turn that around?
- 16:46Speaker 1: It was going to be one of two things. Either
- 16:48Speaker 1: it was going to be a bad situation or it
- 16:51Speaker 1: was a misdirect to make you think it's her and
- 16:55Speaker 1: then it's going to be somebody else. But it did
- 16:58Speaker 1: seem in that moment that she was so much further
- 17:01Speaker 1: behind than everybody else.
- 17:04Speaker 2: Yeah, it did. They did kind of show that.
- 17:07Speaker 1: You could see it on her face of like oh shit, I.
- 17:10Speaker 2: Well she says it, She's like I'm behind.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Yeah. Day two rehearsals, Whitney, Shirley, and Mark observe each
- 17:18Speaker 1: of the dancers. Adele and Anthony. Shirley immediately notices that
- 17:21Speaker 1: Adele is a no nonsense partner, so she kind of
- 17:25Speaker 1: sees what you saw.
- 17:26Speaker 2: She's just noticing that now.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Yeah. Whitney notes that Adele has given Anthony a lot
- 17:32Speaker 1: of steps and she thinks she's trying to prove something.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Well she is, she's serious.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Yeah, but yeah, I would I would hope that she's
- 17:42Speaker 1: only giving him that many steps because she thinks that
- 17:45Speaker 1: he can do it. You know, I would hate that
- 17:47Speaker 1: if if I was in that situation, that they put
- 17:49Speaker 1: me in a bad situation just because you want to
- 17:52Speaker 1: prove something, not because you think I could do it, right,
- 17:55Speaker 1: you know.
- 17:56Speaker 3: Yeah, No, no, like listen, uh, I don't know that
- 18:01Speaker 3: she taught he could do it.
- 18:03Speaker 2: I think it's just she was being a tough teacher.
- 18:08Speaker 1: Yeah, AJ and Bailey. AJ is trying to block out
- 18:13Speaker 1: the judges completely pretending that they aren't even there surely
- 18:16Speaker 1: and which which is good. It's very smart. That's got
- 18:19Speaker 1: to be very stressful, like to have someone just.
- 18:22Speaker 3: That's like when Bramo shows up to one of your
- 18:24Speaker 3: scenes when you know the big bosses are there, You're like.
- 18:28Speaker 1: Oh, like does Andy show up?
- 18:31Speaker 3: Sometimes not Andy, it would be the other bosses show
- 18:34Speaker 3: up to it all cast e ed, you better perform,
- 18:39Speaker 3: They better leave there going, Oh we got a show.
- 18:41Speaker 1: Yeah. The judges were very impressed with AJ's teaching style.
- 18:47Speaker 1: He's very very clear with his instructions to Bailey. I
- 18:52Speaker 1: think AJ would be a really good pro after me.
- 18:55Speaker 2: Yeah, what makes you think AJ's not going to win?
- 18:57Speaker 1: I used to think it was Allan's because he's had
- 19:00Speaker 1: a lot of really strong dances, But now I think
- 19:02Speaker 1: it might be. I think it might. What I think
- 19:04Speaker 1: is gonna happen is I think that Adele and AJ
- 19:07Speaker 1: might be the two winners.
- 19:09Speaker 2: You still think there'll be two?
- 19:11Speaker 1: I do. I think that's good TV. That's what I
- 19:13Speaker 1: would do if I was a producer. Okay, it's a
- 19:16Speaker 1: big misdirect of like, you know, Adele, you're the winner,
- 19:21Speaker 1: but guess what so are you? Aj? Like that would
- 19:24Speaker 1: be yeah, that would be fun to well, I mean
- 19:27Speaker 1: I would have I would appreciate that.
- 19:28Speaker 2: I don't know, did you imagine that kind of a feeling?
- 19:31Speaker 3: Oh?
- 19:31Speaker 1: I know, Well, losing and then winning that's great TV.
- 19:36Speaker 1: Alan and Zara Whatney can tell that Alan has a
- 19:40Speaker 1: really good background in teaching. She thinks their routine looks solid,
- 19:45Speaker 1: so she wants him to amp up the details Selena
- 19:48Speaker 1: and Jeremy. You have Selena feeling like an underdog because
- 19:53Speaker 1: she's the only one who doesn't have experienced teaching ballroom,
- 19:56Speaker 1: and she's also so much smaller than what.
- 19:59Speaker 2: About Well Belle didn't have experience teaching either.
- 20:02Speaker 1: Yeah, that's true Nina and Jay. Whitney points out that
- 20:06Speaker 1: Nina should be cleaning up the routine by now, she
- 20:09Speaker 1: shouldn't still be teaching the choreography. She was right, She
- 20:13Speaker 1: was very very right. I really enjoyed this night before
- 20:24Speaker 1: the performance thing when Whitney came and talked with all
- 20:29Speaker 1: the social media influencers. I thought this was a fun
- 20:31Speaker 1: wrinkle and gave you.
- 20:33Speaker 2: They asked about their confidence, Yes.
- 20:37Speaker 1: Because you got to think confidence is you know, especially
- 20:40Speaker 1: in show business and especially like stage dancing and stuff.
- 20:43Speaker 1: Confidence is everything I know. So yeah, it was. It
- 20:47Speaker 1: was really cool to have her sit down and ask
- 20:50Speaker 1: the all the social media influencers what they thought.
- 20:53Speaker 3: I wasn't surprised that Anthony didn't feel confident because he's
- 20:57Speaker 3: getting ripped every day all day.
- 21:00Speaker 1: Yeah, and Jeremy felt pretty good. He had like a
- 21:02Speaker 1: seven and a half.
- 21:04Speaker 2: He did go on there feeling confident.
- 21:06Speaker 1: I think that he's a confident person. Like just from
- 21:10Speaker 1: the few moments I saw of him on TV, he
- 21:12Speaker 1: seems like someone who carries himself with a lot of confidence.
- 21:15Speaker 3: He's cute, he's silly, he's like a puppy, he doesn't care.
- 21:19Speaker 3: He's happy to making tiktoks with his sister.
- 21:22Speaker 1: So let's go through what they all said. So you know,
- 21:24Speaker 1: Whitney asked them to close their eyes and hold up
- 21:26Speaker 1: a number to represent how good they're feeling, ten being
- 21:28Speaker 1: the most confident, in one being the least. Bailey went
- 21:31Speaker 1: with five, Jeremy went with eight, Anthony went with four,
- 21:34Speaker 1: Jay went with five, and Zara went with seven point five.
- 21:39Speaker 1: Whinny points out that four is really really low for Anthony.
- 21:42Speaker 1: At this point, are you thinking that maybe Anthony and
- 21:45Speaker 1: Adele will be going home?
- 21:47Speaker 3: I did not no, because she was a real stickler
- 21:52Speaker 3: about how she was teaching him. And when I realized
- 21:55Speaker 3: that Nino was spending too much time on I guess,
- 21:58Speaker 3: like the fundamentals, I want to go for a dance lesson.
- 22:01Speaker 3: I want someone to tell me just I don't know.
- 22:04Speaker 3: I'm fifty five.
- 22:05Speaker 2: I don't have time to learn how to be a dancer.
- 22:07Speaker 3: Just teach me the dance, yeah, and we'll work on
- 22:11Speaker 3: the other stuff later.
- 22:12Speaker 2: But let me know the dance and then tweak me.
- 22:16Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, show night. It's always interesting to see
- 22:22Speaker 1: what the order they go in. Nina and Jay come
- 22:24Speaker 1: out first. They're the ones that we're most concerned with,
- 22:27Speaker 1: because Nina really didn't show Jay the choreo until the
- 22:31Speaker 1: second day. They do the fox trot.
- 22:34Speaker 2: He didn't miss on the steps, they just didn't have
- 22:36Speaker 2: a lot of steps.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Yeah, surely notices some posture elements that were lacking. She
- 22:40Speaker 1: even pulls out some tiny ballroom shoes to show the
- 22:43Speaker 1: proper foot.
- 22:43Speaker 2: The way you should stand.
- 22:44Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, she had those this entire time. I need,
- 22:48Speaker 1: I want, I want props more often from Shirley.
- 22:51Speaker 2: I mean she should.
- 22:52Speaker 3: You know who she reminds me of every time I
- 22:54Speaker 3: look at her, the Ukrainian teacher in john Wick.
- 22:58Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I know you're talking.
- 23:02Speaker 2: Yeah, like that reminds me of her.
- 23:04Speaker 1: Yeah yeah yeah. Adele and Anthony goes second. They're doing
- 23:08Speaker 1: a tango. Mark was impressed with the dance and was
- 23:10Speaker 1: impressed with Adele's no nonsense teaching. Whitney was super impressed
- 23:15Speaker 1: with Anthony's dancing abilities as well as Adele's teaching skills
- 23:20Speaker 1: that you know, she corrects him kind of mid dance
- 23:23Speaker 1: because he got she slowed him down.
- 23:25Speaker 3: Yeah, and they said that's the sign of a real professional.
- 23:29Speaker 2: And you might be right by the end of.
- 23:30Speaker 3: This, she like, you wouldn't know she was like slowing
- 23:34Speaker 3: him down unless we were told, right.
- 23:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I know, it seemed like to me, I was like,
- 23:38Speaker 1: that's part of the dance, and then.
- 23:39Speaker 2: That's what I thought.
- 23:40Speaker 1: Yeah, AJ and Bailey they do the waltz. Whitney tells
- 23:45Speaker 1: Aj she would have loved an emotional moment in the
- 23:49Speaker 1: dance somewhere. Mark could tell that Bailey felt comfortable with Aj,
- 23:52Speaker 1: which is very important for a teacher, and surely thought
- 23:55Speaker 1: that what Aj did in the last two days was
- 23:58Speaker 1: amazing and calls him a star. Is he now like
- 24:02Speaker 1: the leader in the clubhouse when it comes to at
- 24:04Speaker 1: least the guide dancers.
- 24:06Speaker 3: Well, I feel like when she says it, it means something.
- 24:09Speaker 1: I know, right, her words carry more weight than I
- 24:13Speaker 1: think her son's or whoever the guest judge is.
- 24:16Speaker 3: I feel like that too, and I just think it's
- 24:19Speaker 3: out of pure experience and age and you know, like
- 24:23Speaker 3: a wise person.
- 24:25Speaker 1: Yeah, and also you know, this was the first episode
- 24:29Speaker 1: where Surely and Mark don't fight, which made me sad.
- 24:33Speaker 1: I want that every episode. I like when they fight.
- 24:37Speaker 3: I like when they fight too, and I love that
- 24:39Speaker 3: we know why they fight.
- 24:41Speaker 2: That's mother and son.
- 24:43Speaker 3: So like what I was looking at when I saw them,
- 24:46Speaker 3: I'm like, you know, say they're in the kitchen to
- 24:48Speaker 3: have a little talk, like does he just bust out
- 24:50Speaker 3: her dance? And then just they get in a fight
- 24:52Speaker 3: over whether or not he did it right?
- 24:55Speaker 2: Like what goes on? What went on in that house
- 24:57Speaker 2: growing up? I want to out.
- 24:59Speaker 1: Yeah, Like they're in the kid making a sandwich and
- 25:01Speaker 1: she like critiques him about how much mayonnaise he's putting.
- 25:07Speaker 1: Alan and Zara do the waltz. Surely love it. She
- 25:11Speaker 1: tells Alan just needs to tighten up the basics and
- 25:14Speaker 1: then he'll be a force to be reckoned with. Whitney
- 25:16Speaker 1: gives Alan props for building up Zara's confidence, and then
- 25:20Speaker 1: the last dance is Selena and Jeremany. They do the
- 25:24Speaker 1: quick step. Whitney tells Jeremy that he lit up the room.
- 25:28Speaker 1: Whitney tells Selena it was lacking some quick step content.
- 25:32Speaker 1: Though Mark felt like it needed to move around the
- 25:35Speaker 1: floor more and surely wanted the character of the quick step,
- 25:39Speaker 1: she didn't necessarily see it in the dance. This is
- 25:42Speaker 1: a thing that like, I'm amazed that they haven't figured
- 25:45Speaker 1: this out yet, which is, you need to stick to
- 25:47Speaker 1: the brief.
- 25:49Speaker 3: Right and like I said, if it comes out great, amazing. Yeah,
- 25:52Speaker 3: it's a risky move to not stick to the brief.
- 25:55Speaker 1: I think that there is a little bit of blame
- 25:57Speaker 1: to be put on Jeremy shoulders for that, because he
- 26:00Speaker 1: really wanted to do something else. And I think that
- 26:03Speaker 1: Selena was trying to kind of acquiesce to his desires
- 26:07Speaker 1: to be able to throw her around or spin her.
- 26:10Speaker 3: I felt like she was trying to acquiesce to what
- 26:14Speaker 3: he was able to do. Good, yeah, which is not
- 26:20Speaker 3: the point of a great teacher. But the fact that
- 26:23Speaker 3: they had two days to get this right. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 26:27Speaker 3: so exaggerate what they're good at.
- 26:30Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly. The two dancers that are in jeopardy are
- 26:33Speaker 1: Nina and Selena. This didn't surprise you.
- 26:36Speaker 2: Did it?
- 26:37Speaker 1: No?
- 26:37Speaker 2: I was able to tell right now, And to be
- 26:41Speaker 2: honest with.
- 26:42Speaker 1: You, I think that Nina knew as well. I think
- 26:44Speaker 1: I could read it on.
- 26:45Speaker 3: Her Shade didn't know she did? She took it well,
- 26:48Speaker 3: she did. Jay felt so bad? Did you see? Could
- 26:52Speaker 3: you not read the look on their faces? They get
- 26:55Speaker 3: one of them were own home, like my partner might
- 26:57Speaker 3: go home because of me?
- 26:59Speaker 1: Yeah? Oh, I know. Yeah. For the social media influencers,
- 27:02Speaker 1: that's got to be heartbreaking for them. It was also
- 27:05Speaker 1: seemed like it was heartbreaking for the other dancers, like
- 27:09Speaker 1: the pros, because I think at this point, everyone's so
- 27:14Speaker 1: good that like anyone can go home, you know. I
- 27:18Speaker 1: think Nina, even though she has been kind of on
- 27:23Speaker 1: shaky ground in previous episodes, I think she's a really,
- 27:26Speaker 1: really strong dancer, and I think everyone's really surprised that
- 27:29Speaker 1: she was the one who went home. That's the end
- 27:31Speaker 1: of episode six. Well, who do you think is gonna win?
- 27:36Speaker 2: Who do I think is gonna win? I don't know.
- 27:38Speaker 3: It's between Adele and Alan, I think, yeah, right now,
- 27:46Speaker 3: that's how I feel.
- 27:47Speaker 1: Yeah, right, I got Adele Allan maybe AJ.
- 27:53Speaker 2: He's good, but I lose him sometimes.
- 27:57Speaker 1: Yeah. I thought he just showed that he's really good
- 28:01Speaker 1: at the thing that you need to be good at Yes,
- 28:03Speaker 1: which is teaching. So anyways, I am excited to see
- 28:09Speaker 1: how this whole thing shakes out.
- 28:11Speaker 3: Adele was just because her her client did well doesn't
- 28:15Speaker 3: mean she's a good teacher.
- 28:16Speaker 2: I didn't think she was great. Yeah to mean, sorry,
- 28:19Speaker 2: I'm talking about your buddy, but.
- 28:21Speaker 1: She tell my buddy. I just I just think she's
- 28:23Speaker 1: going to win well, and don't want to be right.
- 28:28Speaker 2: I feel like Alan's going to win.
- 28:32Speaker 1: You do who? Well, you know what's going to happen
- 28:35Speaker 1: is that they're both going to win.
- 28:37Speaker 2: You're still stuck on that there's going to be two winners.
- 28:40Speaker 2: I don't know that. I don't know.
- 28:42Speaker 1: I don't know, But we want to know what you
- 28:43Speaker 1: guys think out there. Hit us up on social media
- 28:45Speaker 1: by order of the faithfuls, tell us who you think
- 28:47Speaker 1: is going to win. We'll read some of the comments
- 28:50Speaker 1: in the next episode. I think only two episodes left,
- 28:53Speaker 1: and then after that. You know what's going to be happening, Dolores.
- 28:56Speaker 2: Oh Traders, baby Traders, what is it? Blood? I have
- 29:01Speaker 2: theories already and it didn't even start.
- 29:04Speaker 1: I know September seventeenth is the first episode, so I
- 29:07Speaker 1: got a feel and we'll have an episode either that
- 29:09Speaker 1: day or very very soon thereafter. Make sure you have
- 29:13Speaker 1: your Peacock subscription ready to follow along with us.
- 29:17Speaker 2: I feel like it's going to be a hard game.
- 29:19Speaker 2: They're going to make it hard.
- 29:20Speaker 3: I feel the people coming in have spent more time
- 29:23Speaker 3: studying the game shows and how to win. Because they
- 29:28Speaker 3: have more time, They're not like crazy like us. Sometimes,
- 29:31Speaker 3: you know, they have different lifestyles. Like I went in
- 29:35Speaker 3: there never even knowing what the hell I was doing.
- 29:38Speaker 1: I wants the show on the plane, that's all.
- 29:43Speaker 2: Right, Like they gave me a burger phone.
- 29:45Speaker 3: I got to watch like episodes on the way in
- 29:47Speaker 3: so well, I was stuck in my hotel room. But
- 29:51Speaker 3: these are people. I feel like they're dangerous.
- 29:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I think it's real killers. I think it's gonna
- 29:59Speaker 1: be a really fun season, and I think it'll do
- 30:02Speaker 1: really well and it'll prove that you don't really need
- 30:04Speaker 1: celebrities in the castle.
- 30:06Speaker 2: Yeah, do you need one to come back?
- 30:09Speaker 1: That would be Yeah, they need to have an all
- 30:11Speaker 1: star season. Yeah, Dolores, have a lovely rest of your day.
- 30:17Speaker 1: I'm gonna go to the vet and pick up this
- 30:20Speaker 1: dog that owes me four thousand dollars.
- 30:22Speaker 3: That dog owes you four thousand dollars for real?
- 30:27Speaker 2: Well, don't you better pick him or her her? What's
- 30:31Speaker 2: her name?
- 30:32Speaker 1: Boo?
- 30:33Speaker 2: I had a dog named Boo.
- 30:35Speaker 3: Really yeah, the best, one of the best. Yeah, so
- 30:40Speaker 3: Boo Boo's in trouble.
- 30:43Speaker 1: He is in trouble, and no more chocolate for her. Okay,
- 30:47Speaker 1: all right, all you faithful and traders out there, thanks
- 30:50Speaker 1: so much for listening. We'll be back again next week,
- 30:53Speaker 1: wrapping up Dancing with the Stars the next pro only
- 30:55Speaker 1: two episodes left, and then after that we'll be recapping Traders.

- 31:00Speaker 1: media at by order of the Faithful, the Lords you
