• Michelle Harris: Welcome back to another episode of Reality Hits Matt. I'm your host, Michelle. And I'm Matt. Today we'll be covering a season two episode four of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. And so before we jump into that episode, Matt, do you want to give a quick recap of last week's episode? Sure. Season two, episode three. I'm going to try and be a little quicker this week. feel like I drugged recap on forever last week. So the episode starts out It's a continuation of the Halloween party, Jesse's Halloween party. ⁓ There's a lot of drama and a lot of tension going on. ⁓ Taylor and Chase are fighting. Chase said that he said he never had feelings for Taylor. and that he had a dream about her but didn't have feelings. And Taylor's saying, that's not what you told me originally. And there's just a ton of back and forth. And this gets really heated. ⁓ Dakota and Taylor getting into it. Yeah. Because he seems to be getting kind of buddy-buddy with Chase. And everybody's just fighting. there's just a lot going on. And it spills outside. ⁓ There's ⁓ lot of drama going on. This is when the cops get called by the neighbors. ⁓ I guess the cops show up later on after Chase had left. But during all of this... Chase's date or girlfriend is very upset and she's pissed at him and can kind of see like, man, like he is an asshole. What's her name? Kate. Kate, think that's right. Well, all this is happening. the guys that are gonna do the Chippendales are upstairs, Demi's upstairs, Jesse's upstairs, Brett and Jordan. At some point they come down or Demi comes down and Kate is upset and like leaves the room and Demi says something to Chase like, hey, your girlfriend left, like, why don't you go get her? And Chase like walks by and hits Demi on the leg like, well, where's your husband at? Yeah. And like he's upstairs getting ready for this weird event. This entertainment. So she, I guess, runs upstairs and tells Brett Brett comes down. He's pissed off. This is why I guess it spills outside. ⁓ Chase was trying to leave and then Brett runs down the stairs and like runs outside. ⁓ Yeah, he's just trying to play it off. then Jordan's there. He's yelling. Brett's yelling. Chase is fired up. Taylor's trying to get in the middle of it. And girls are trying to hold her back. hold her back, but they're like, come on. Yeah, it's really not. Yeah, it's not. Come this way. Yeah. You're already like on probation. You don't need to be in the middle of all this or get hurt if it gets physical. Right. So Chase does leave. Then the cops show up. Jesse's like. You know, oh, my God, we just moved in. We're going to get kicked out of the neighborhood. The cops, he asked the cops if they watch Secret Lives and Mormon Live. It was more like this would explain a lot because they were asking like, is it couples or? it's a swinging scandal and it's a bunch of fucking weird. So she. No, they didn't watch it. They ended up leaving. It's It explain a lot. It would help you understand the situation. So. So that's kind of that. I guess. There was a lot going on and then Jessi's like, man, we didn't even get to the bottom of the swinging scandal when she was upstairs and like they were actually kind of getting to the bottom of it a little bit. Yeah. So the goes And they're like, ⁓ we gotta just keep moving with the party, you know, that we gotta do the Chippendales thing. So they put a chair out and they're like, the guest of honor is Jen. Jen goes up, the guys are dancing. They're not really dancing on her. You said they were facing the crowd more. From what we saw, wasn't that bad. And then after that, I guess Brett said something to... ⁓ to Zach like exposure therapy bro or whatever. Yeah. And Zach was really pissed off about that. So then after the party, we move on and Zach and Jen are talking and was under the impression that Jen nothing about this, but ⁓ It comes out that she did know, but we don't know if she knew that she was going to be the one that was on the chair and being danced on, but there were definitely some clips they flashed back. to she knew a Chippendales aspect would be a party. But yeah, they were kind of explaining it to her like, Brett's going to come in and take his shirt off. And yeah, so I don't know. It just seems a little weird there. So Jen and Zach are fighting. They've been fighting for a couple of episodes now, but they're fighting more and. Zach, I mean, he makes good points like, look, these are your friends and they're like driving a wedge between us. And why am I all the one that has to always speak up? Like, why isn't Jen speaking up to her friends and being like, you know, what's going on? But then also at the same point, yeah, she's telling her friends different things and he doesn't know. So there's just more drama there. And I thought back about that, that statement of why am I always the one to bring up stuff to your friends or to defend our marriage? And it even goes back to season one of The Baby Blessing because when Demi FaceTimes Jen confront her about being uninvited to The Baby Blessing. Yeah. She makes that get on to the face time to explain why they aren't invited. ⁓ OK. So it even goes back that far where she was like, well, Zach doesn't want them there. So Zach needs to explain this. Right. But it's like she's always relied on Zach to. Defend their stance and stuff. Yeah her friends, right? Like she doesn't take ownership for anything, right? Yeah, so it goes back that far. Okay. later on in the episode, a bunch of the girls are at a fall festival. I think it's everybody but. Whitney and Jen. Taylor and Miranda kind of have a moment together and they kind of discuss the swinging scandal a little more. And Miranda's like, yeah, all I did was kiss. And then Taylor brings up a lot of details where there was. A lot of things going on with a lot of couples in the room together. And so then Miranda's like, OK, yeah, I see your point. Like, I guess what I was saying wasn't completely the truth. think Miranda stuck more to like physically. did not touch another man besides kissing. Right. So, yeah, so there's that. Taylor was taking it to another level. Yeah. And then there's a lot of talk about Jen and I think the girls are kind of turning on her because they kind of see that she's just constantly, I don't know, throwing Zach under the bus or blaming Zach for things. but they're they're talking bad about her and she's just not coming off as the greatest person. And everybody is starting to kind of, guess, accept more. Mikayla is like, ⁓ you know, there's. ⁓ A pass there. I'm not sure if I fully trust her, but, you know, she's coming around. She enjoys being around her more than Whitney. Right. It's always about Whitney. And then that's where we end the episode, I think, is Whitney gives birth to ⁓ her They didn't know it was going to be a boy. Yeah. And then. ⁓ Taylor and Macy go over to Whitney's house, I guess, to see her, see how she's still unwelcomed, the new baby boy. And at this point, there's some talk back and forth, you know, about what happened previously with Macy's store opening and whatnot. ⁓ turns out that ⁓ ⁓ message Macy saying she wasn't going to be there. And there was a TikTok and there's text messages and Whitney reaching out to Macy and Macy not really talking or keeping the conversation going. So there's kind of was kind of eye opening there because that's when, you know, Everybody was really kind of putting Whitney in like that bad light of she didn't even reach out. Yeah. And in fact, she did. And Macy was saying she didn't, but she did. And she has the taxes to prove it, which is kind of crazy. And then I guess Whitney's like, you know, I'm ready to get back into mom talk. And it seems like most people would be good with that except for, I guess, Demi and Mikayla. Jesse, Demi, and Mikayla. The three of them. So, I guess we'll see what happens there. But yeah, that's kind of what I got out of it. Is there anything big that I missed? There's two things We dove into Mikayla's therapy last episode with her sexual trauma and past. she really got deep into her skin condition and then her trauma. And then I felt bad for calling her the sick girl. So I'm not going to call her the sick girl anymore. Yeah. So so right. Yeah. She was abused for four or five years. Yeah. From like 11 to 15. believe her. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So we got to know more about her during last. last week's episode and then the only other thing was that we ended on Jen being pregnant. Oh, right. Yeah. And she didn't even put the pregnancy test in a cake. I know. The hell. It's how announcements should go. But yeah, I mean, it's great. You know, she's pregnant. Her marriage is just doing wonderful. So I'm sure this will be great moving forward. What do we got going on now? Episode four. Tell me about it. So episode four, the Book of Taboos. Oh, thanks. I read it at the top now, so don't forget. The Book of Taboos. Book of Taboos. All right, let's hear it. So we start with Layla and Cameron on a date. Layla and Cameron go to another fall festival. ⁓ yeah. We heard about Cameron last episode. They've been dating for like four months now. Yeah. OK. Another fall festival. All right. Yep. And so they're riding Ferris wheels and checking things out and they're on the Ferris wheel making out. And Layla says that she feels like Cameron generally sees her and understands her, which is not like any of her other exes. OK. So she's really happy right now and is liking where things are going. good. Keep in mind that Cameron comes from a very religious family. His dad is a bishop of the LDS church. And Layla is the one that doesn't come from a religious family but went to school with them and then kind of converted. Okay. At a young age. Like 16 or so. Yes. Okay. Yeah, around 16. Okay. And so they go to like an ice cream stand and there's beer there. And he asked her if he should try beer for the first time. And he tells Layla that he's just not really intrigued by it. And Layla spills that he told her that he would try weed. And so he's like, well, I won't smoke it. But if I I said, if I were going to try it, it would be a gummy. And she really thinks that this is a good idea. And it just seems like Layla is a little pushy when it comes to like the weeds are good. or the beer is a good idea? She thinks all of it's a good idea. OK. So she's like, ⁓ you can eat a weed gummy and then get the munchies and it's going to be so much fun. And so she really seems a little pushy with him on that front. ⁓ Maybe he's just like shy around the cameras. OK. So Layla in an interview says that their sex life is good, but she still has an experience in orgasm with someone and she really wants that for herself. So Cameron tells Layla that growing up with a dad as a bishop, they didn't talk much about taboo things. didn't talk about drinking or weed or sex or anything. Anything that was taboo was just no not to do that. So ⁓ that's just how he's his life. Layla feels like his parents may have some reservations about her because he has only ever dated active, very conservative Mormon girls. Okay. And she is not that. Layla asked Cameron if his parents know that he has sex and he says no, but if they asked, he would be open to having that conversation with them. Layla then asked if he feels pressured about her and making her orgasm. She says at this point, she's going to die without having an orgasm with a guy. Oh God. I'm like, this is a lot. So that was our beginning of the episode and then the intro plays. OK, quick, quick beginning this time. Yeah. I like the previous ones we just you tell me like and I'm like, oh, man, we got to be halfway through the episode now. then the intro plays. No, no, it was a very quick one. So then we cut to brunch with Taylor, Macy, and Mikayla. Taylor tells the girls that she checked him with Dakota following the Halloween party to make sure he was okay. Taylor says that she does worry about him because of his past with addiction. ⁓ right. Taylor said that she did tell Dakota that he embarrassed both of them at the Halloween party for not sticking up for her when Chase was pointing at her very aggressively. Yeah. And Mikayla points out to her that any of the other husbands would have lost it. And so Taylor's point was he made one one off comment to Demi and Demi's husband chased him out of the house. Right. Whereas we stood there going round and round and round and you didn't say a single thing. Right. is worried that after like that would have pushed him into like a relapse of sorts so she has been checking it with Taylor tells the girls that she has nothing left to say and so she's kind of telling them that she's over the relationship with Dakota. But Macy says, yet you still talk to him and fight like you're together. Macy and Makila think that Taylor should be fully separated from Dakota and like not talk to him unless it's coordinating something about their And Taylor says that. She thinks it is done, to be honest, and Macy says, OK, well, if he were to go on a date with someone, would you be pissed? And then Taylor's response was, if you're going to go on a date with someone through all of this, you're not my person at all. And so Macy is like, OK, so you're still considering being together. Right. And Taylor just says she doesn't have words for it. So Taylor in this moment really feels like she wants to work on herself. She's very overwhelmed with trying to work on herself. Yeah. She kind of breaks down and she's like, I'm just over people asking me, is it over? Is it not over? Like making me make that decision right now, because I can't make that decision right now while I'm trying to work through a bunch of other other stuff. Yeah. So she just like wants to work on herself and focus on her kids and focus on her own healing before she answers any of these questions. And so she's just really over people like wanting her to be like, yeah, Dakota's out of my life. Right. Taylor says that when she goes into therapy, she feels crazy because it's the same thing over and over again. And I guess her therapist is like, no, it's not crazy. It's just your trauma and your past. And like, we got to work through this and Taylor admits that her and Dakota have a therapy session coming up and she's unsure if he will show, but she's going to go regardless. Taylor asked for the combo to be swapped. She's like, let's talk about something else like I can't talk about this. So Macy brings up another confessional that she received. ⁓ the Sunday Sinners confessional. And this was the one that revealed that Jenna. and Dakota. We're together. We're together. Yeah, yeah, yeah. OK. What do we got now? What's so at this point? At this point, Taylor is pleased about me and she goes, no, it's not about you. so it says that I slept with Demi's husband last year while she was away. ⁓ geez. Mikayla thinks that it's not true because Demi would not go a day without Brett. Right. But then Macy brings up except for the birthday weekend that they spent in Park City. OK, yeah. And so may see things that Demi and Brett may have some cracks in their relationship they don't share with everyone. Okay. So the girls start talking about that and then they switch to Jen and Zach. Taylor goes, has anyone heard from Jen? Mikayla says the last she talked to Jen, Jen said things were so much better because Zach was allowing her to be herself. That's nice of him to allow her. That exactly what they were all saying. Like the girl thing is a problem that he's allowing in the first place. Yeah. So they're all just catching up and that kind of ends the brunch conversation. ⁓ We go to Miranda's house and Jen comes over to Miranda's house to talk to Miranda. And Jen shows up at Miranda's house and Jen says that it's been really hard to talk to the girls about what's been going on. And she says it's nice to have Miranda because Miranda has validated her feelings. And she doesn't get that from the other girls. So Jen asked Miranda how co-pirating is going because when she shows up, her daughter's still there and Miranda's telling her daughter to go get ready because she's about to go over to Chase's house. And so Jen asks if co-parenting is hard and Miranda says it can be difficult and it has not been easy, but there hasn't been a day where she didn't feel like it was the best choice for her and her kids. Right, right. So she keeps Miranda all these questions about like co-parenting. What's what's on Jen's mind? Divorce. ⁓ And so Jen finally asked like when Miranda knew it was time to divorce Chase. Yeah. ⁓ And Miranda just says there one fight where I finally just knew ⁓ that it like that was And the minute that the light switch flipped. I felt more at peace and I felt more relaxed and I knew that it was the right choice and I wasn't going back. So after Jen is done asking her divorce questions, Miranda then asks Jen how she's doing and Jen breaks down. How do you think? So Jen tells Miranda that she feels alone between where she's at with the girls in her marriage Miranda in an interview says that she can relate to Jen and maybe she's not receiving the support she needs from MomTalk right now. Jen tells Miranda that she wants to continue being a part of MomTalk, but it's really hard for Zach and it's hurting their marriage. Yeah. Jen sounds just like Miranda. Right, right. So that's why Miranda can really relate to Jen. Yeah. And so she really empathizes with her and... I think even though she knows that maybe there's more to this story and maybe because other girls are involved where it was just like her and Taylor. Yeah. So it's easier for her to remove herself from that. Like, and they weren't on a reality TV show where you're obligated to show up to things. Right. Right. She can definitely see that Jen just needs support in some way and she's not getting it. Yeah, for sure. So Jen thinks that She is in the midst of a spiritual warfare and she's not even sure if she wants to be in this marriage and she wants to figure out what she needs and wants before this baby comes. So this is in an interview. She hasn't told anyone that she's pregnant yet. ⁓ okay. Jen is questioning her relationship with God and what her purpose is. So she hasn't gone to church. She has kind of split that relationship. So not only is she feeling lonely in her marriage and lonely with the girl, the girl, she's not even going to church. she's lost that relationship with God. So she just really doesn't know what to do. Yeah. Yeah. So it cuts to golf and Zach brings Brett and Jordan golfing to confront them about the Halloween party. OK. Zach in an interview says that since he's already told to me and Jesse about where he stood they chose to ignore his thoughts and feelings ⁓ and four days later ended up something that was against what he thought they were on the same page. Right. He hopes he can have a good relationship with the guys and talk to them about it. OK. ⁓ Zach tells the guys that he doesn't think that they had bad intent, but if they did respect him, they could have given him a heads up. Yeah. Zach says that 10 minutes prior to the dance, they were aside almost physically assaulting someone. ⁓ And then Jordan chimes in and says, that's because the guy touched Brett's wife without consent. Jordan was like, I not back down from me doing that. like I'm always going to stand up to be like that wasn't right when you touch like a woman. Right. so Jordan says that he would never back down from that conversation especially when a man is touching woman condescendingly okay So Zach says, but then you turned around and you did that same thing and you touched my wife condescendingly. So he thinks that it's the same thing. Jordan and Brett don't 100 % agree with that. Jordan said that the ⁓ thing he's having a hard time with is that Jen was told about this and she was told that Zach could be included in the plan, but she chose not to tell Zach. Okay, so this goes against what Jen was saying earlier. To Zach. Yes, but no, because then it cuts to the same scene of her being told that Brett's going to rip his shirt off and go to Chippendale. Yeah. OK, well, I mean, yeah, so then maybe there's some miscommunication there between Demi and Brett and Jessi. Right. OK. All right. Yeah. But I mean, what was on camera might not be all of it, too. It might not be all of it, but that might be it. And they're just like really playing into the fact that something was mentioned to her. Right. So who knows? OK. Jordan says that it doesn't excuse the fact that he could have reached out to Zach and he should have reached out to Zach separately, but still thinks that Jen needs to be held accountable. Brett says that this all comes down to intent and communication at the center of it. And Jen might be at the center of it and a bit of a moving target. Brett thinks that Jen may have not been 100 percent honest with Zach because she may have been nervous about how he would react at times. Right. And Brett really wants Zach to like take that into consideration when he's trying to draw these like, well, she said this and he said that. Right. He said this because Brett is saying like, it's not all black and white. There's some great. areas and you need to recognize that and like give grace to people because Zach is in this situation where he's like, well, I'm listening to my wife and she's telling me this. So like, that's it. Yeah. Or I mean, that should be over here. It should be like, like you have to at some point, like if there is such a this wishy washy back and forth like. That with your wife should be it. No, that should be like, yeah, with other people. think I think his comment was like you went and talked with Demi and Jesse and then like you thought that that was going to end the issue. Yeah. Yeah. But it doesn't really get resolved until all of the people are on the same page. Right. And not all of the people are on the same. Nobody is on the same page. So. Brett says that if he knew or thought for a second that this would have caused an issue in their marriage whatsoever, he wouldn't have done it. So he says that in the future, he will reach out to Zach and be clear about the intentions of it. How would it not cause an issue? Come on. Because he's listening to Demi and Demi is like, ⁓ I told Jen and Jen thinks it's a great idea. And like, so he's going off that information. Right. Right. But Jen probably didn't even have all the information. I don't know. So if it's going to be that can take Jen's word at point blank, then Brett is going to take his wife. Yeah. Yeah, for sure. So that's where he's saying, like, we're having this conversation. Yeah. Information from our wives and like, clearly, it's not lining up. So like we all need to like the wives are never lining up. It's always their fault. So Jordan says at the end of the day he still wants to hang out with Zach and continue to golf and that he does want to see him at the dad talk stuff later. OK, so this is like a dad talk here. It was a thing earlier or was it not? Or we heard about it earlier, like it was up and coming. Yes, we heard about it with Sylvia. OK, but it hasn't been a thing yet. This is the first of it. is the inaugural dad Oh my goodness. That's what they should have called this episode, the Book of Dad Talk. Barf. What do we got going on? The dad talk stuff later. Right. right. So Taylor and Dakota go to therapy. Taylor says that she's thankful that Dakota showed up to therapy. and they a lot about the Halloween party because it was so triggering. So they show clips of their therapy session and Taylor is explaining that Dakota should have told Chase to back the fuck up for speaking to her condescendingly. And Dakota says that he just didn't feel like she wanted anything to do with him. So that's why he didn't say anything. Taylor, did you? I mean, she did say you're not my partner. Fuck you. Yeah. Yeah, there was a seem like a lot of back and forth going on. was kind of crazy still, like, I mean, that's the mother of your son. Like, don't let somebody talk shit to her. So that was a focus of this therapy session. Taylor in an interview says that therapy with Dakota took a step in the right direction because he was actually processing what she was saying and listening for the first time. Dakota says he doesn't have a problem with Taylor needing to process all these things, but all he ever wanted was forgiveness. And he just felt like he never got that. But he says if he could get forgiveness or feel like he was forgiven for the things that he's done, he could give her the space to process these things and the space to like heal. But he is also like very upset for failing. her in that moment. So he does apologize for that. Taylor thinks that they had a breakthrough moment and she finally the soft side that she initially fell for. ⁓ And Taylor that Dakota has upset her and hurt her, but he hasn't failed her yet. ⁓ And so her would be completely giving up and not showing up. Okay. So ⁓ she still that even though her heart is closed right now, there's no doubt that she has a bunch of feelings for her. Right. Right. So now we get into the main part of the show. OK, this episode, what is it? So Demi has decided to throw Layla a remove the taboo sex party. And so she wants to help Layla remove the taboo of sex so she can have an orgasm with. ⁓ her significant other. And how does she plan on doing this? So Demi says that Jesse and her have planned this party for Layla and they all show up wearing lingerie. So they're all wearing very outfits. OK. ⁓ Demi gotten a certified sex and relationship expert to come over. ⁓ OK. Demi hopes that Erica, this lady, can help remove the taboo around sex. Macy says that she's a little shocked because there are collars, butt plugs, dildos and chains that are all set up. So this lady comes in this house, sets up her little table of toys, and then the girls start showing up. And as they start showing up, Demi is telling this lady, like, we have experience from someone who's like has swung with. multiple people to like very conservative, like has only been with their husband and, you know, not really done stuff. So as the girls are showing up, they're like walking into this and she has like candy bowls and it's like suck blow. Like the different candies are like labeled like suck blow, whatever. And like, so she has different like stuff going on. And then, like I said, on the table, there's like different sex toys. ⁓ He thought that this was just going to be to remove the stigma of sex. But now she's feeling full blown. She's like, this is a full blown orgy party. And at one point, she's like, I'm at a swingers party. Well, that's the thing. When you first started telling the telling this bit, I was like, wait, so like, are they going to like help her and him? Like, I was like, now we're just getting swingy again. Like, like they're just going to like coach them and. Okay. All right. I mean, it's just the girls. Still weird, but it's still weird, but it's just the girls. Yeah. I don't know if that table of things is really what she needs just yet, but let's, let's, let's move on. ⁓ girls are really getting the theme of it. Mikayla brought a cake that was in the shape of like a butt that had like a thong going through it. So it's like the like outline of like a butt. ⁓ And ⁓ Mayci an interview says that the butt was made, like the butt cake was made from a mold of her butt because she has the best butt in the group. And then the producers tell Mikayla that and Mikayla says that there's not enough cake for that. ⁓ So they're having fun with it. Yeah. The old butt cake ⁓ of pregnancy test in there. Jen's pregnancy test should have been. Yeah. Yeah. ⁓ piss-filled butt-cake. So a producer asked Miranda if she thought that she'd ever be back at a mom-talk sex party and she just starts laughing and then Taylor's like, yeah, I guess I'm back. ⁓ And then the girls, as they're waiting for other people to show up, a.k.a. Jen, because every single girl shows up to this except for Whitney. OK. So as they're waiting for Jen to show up, the girls start talking about if like Dakota is going to go to dad talk And ⁓ I guess was asking ⁓ Jesse how do Tic Tocs and Jesse was like, ⁓ just just just ask Dakota because he knows. ⁓ Connor, Jordan, Jacob, Dakota, and Brett. So ⁓ is Makila, Macy, Whitney, Taylor's boyfriend, Jesse, Demi, ⁓ all of their husbands. Okay. ⁓ So they're all together and then they're showing this clip of the girls and it's like, what are we a part of? And then they're like click. And so they all do like a head turn and like a snap. None of the guys can like do this on stage. So they're all like click and they're all like one guy's head is going to the right and one guy's head is going to the left. And like they're all like offbeat and they're like, how did they do this? And then at one point Dakota's like, how did they all get in frame? Is it because they're all so tiny? They are struggling. And finally, when they get it, the guys say we cannot admit to the girls how hard that was. So the dad talk is officially dad talking. ⁓ So we just saw a little clip of that and then we cut back to the sex party. Miranda asked Taylor if her and Dakota are in a better place and Taylor in an interview says that she can appreciate that Miranda's thinking of her and their friendship is definitely getting better. Okay. The girls ask if Jen's on her way and Demi asks if anyone knows what's going on with Jen and Zach and Miranda tells the girls that she has been asking a lot of questions about Miranda's divorce. Demi keeps asking questions like, ⁓ like she's inquiring for herself. And ⁓ then she goes, does anyone know how she feels about the Chippendale situation? And I'm like, girl, what the fuck? Like. Why don't you text her and ask her? Why don't you ask her to meet up? If you think that it could have been an issue. Yeah. But you haven't talked with her since the Halloween party. Yeah. Why haven't you reached out to her? Yeah. And one thing that just crossed my mind about the Halloween party that I missed in my recap was Jessi was like, I shouldn't have invited all these people. But she was like saying it like kind of ironically, like laughing. if I would have known. ⁓ That's you invited all these people. Sorry, the Chippendales thing just like reminded me. Yeah. Yeah. So Miranda tells the girls that Jen wasn't thrilled about it. Jen did say that Demi brought it up. So Jen did tell Miranda like Demi brought it up. And I appreciate that. She just wished she would have known the extent of what it would have been. OK. So and Demi at this party say, well, it was supposed to be a surprise. And even giving her a heads up to see if it was absolutely off the table. Like, that's the only reason why they did it. so it was a surprise. Yes. they like the mentioning of like, ⁓ Brett's going to take his shirt off. Yes. So it wasn't like Brett's going to dance. So it was the we saw was the extent. was like, well, it was to be a surprise. OK. So. ⁓ I think that Jen did not know the full extent of what was about to happen. So it re shows a clip of Demi telling Jen about Brett's costume. Layla in an interview says that it's absolutely ridiculous how upset Jen got now knowing that she knew about it all along. And I'm like, but she didn't know about it. didn't know. So Jen shows up to Demi's party and she walks in the door and she's like, I honestly thought about wearing my garments, like, you know, her Mormon garments. ⁓ yeah, yeah. didn't, she was wearing like a lingerie outfit. Okay. Which beforehand they said that Zach would never allow her to do that. And she showed up in this. So Jen says that she's hoping by showing up tonight, it shows the girls that she's really trying to put in the effort and be a part of the group and there's no more drama. Like she hopes that this is it. Okay. The sex expert goes around and asks the girls what turns them on. And she starts with Taylor. So Taylor says role playing. Miranda says talking dirty and Mikayla says massages. Layla cannot answer this question. at one point Layla says that it turns around to see her partner enjoying it to which Demi interrupts and says, yeah, but what about you without them being involved? And she cannot answer that question. So Layla says that the fact that she can't even say what turns her on is a big revelation and probably a big red flag. So the sex lady then has them do some sensation play. So she gives them all blindfolds and whips. So they have to pair off in two. And then like one girl has to be blindfolded. And then the other girl has to like whip them and like do it like softly and be like, how do you like that? Or do you like to be scratched? And all the girls are like losing it. So Mikayla and Macy are like paired up. And Mikayla's like, I will forever be traumatized that Macy like whipped me. Oh, no feathered me because she had like a little feather. OK. And she goes, but I will say Macy needs to work on her feathering technique because it did not do anything for me. Macy's like, I can't believe I had to feather Mikayla. So some of the girls are taking it more seriously than others like the. sex expert lady, Erica, goes up to Taylor and like is like showing Jen how to like what to do. And so she was like, ⁓ like, and then you can scratch them. like, Taylor's like, ⁓ yeah, like, I like that. And to me then goes, it's scary how straight I am. And so Taylor goes, it's not about being straight. It's about what you like. And so at that point, to me goes, well, I haven't kissed girls you have. And so they're kind of like going on it. And Taylor's like, yeah, I've kissed a girl and Miranda's a great kisser, but that doesn't mean I'm not straight. Like I just did it to do it. And then Jesse's like, yeah, you were drunk. You just did it. And she's like, yeah, like I just did it. And so Taylor thinks that Demi makes little jabs at people. Right. Right. So in an interview, she's saying that. she can be judgmental and she makes these judgmental jokes and it's just an underlying like jab at you. So Taylor is like not a big fan of Demi. couldn't start to see that. The sex lady then asks if anyone would like to be sex lady. I mean, Ericob. No, no, the sex lady. It's just funny. All right. The sex lady does what now? So the sex lady asks if anyone like to be handcuffed by their ankles and wrists and Layla volunteers. So Layla says she has this like big inflatable thing that has like little like sections. And then Jen goes, can you buy that on Amazon? I don't know if she ever got an answer to that. You can get anything on if you search for it. So Layla says that something she took from the sex party, because after she gets tied up, she was like they're like whipping her and then they're like they're like doing it soft and she's like, no, maybe a little bit harder. She says the one thing that she took from the sex party is that she likes it hard and rough. And she said, moving forward, she's going to be more open she's hopeful that an orgasm is around the corner. So ⁓ after the whole sex. ⁓ Party's over. Demi is ready to talk to Jen about the Chippendale stuff. ⁓ ⁓ the sex lady's done, ⁓ go to hang out in the kitchen. Instead of saying, can we talk about this or how did you feel about the Chippendales performance or? Yeah. Like, let's ⁓ this out. Like I heard you might have been upset. Yeah. She goes, ⁓ are you and Zach doing? That is not not so good. That is you crying into someone's relationship. Yeah. Yeah. When they haven't reached out to you to have that conversation. Yeah. So Jen is saying that they are doing better. then she was like today, like we're doing better today. Right. Jen tells the girls that she's still trying to figure it all out. So for now, she's just going to keep that between Zach and herself. OK, so she does not want to have that conversation for all these girls. That's fair. Taylor in an interview says that Demi really likes to talk about projection a lot. So when you really pry into someone's business and you're like asking them a lot of questions about something just because you want to hear the drama or you want there to be drama. Sometimes it's a deflection on like what you're personally going through. Oh, right, right. And so I guess to me is really big on people doing that. Well, she's just asking about my marriage because her marriage is bad. Yeah. So Taylor thinks that there might be something going on between to me and Brett because. why she's so concerned about Zach and Jen. Yeah. And so she kind of just like leaves it at that, which is like, mean. Well, there was the Sunday Center confessional, which. Yeah. Who knows? I mean, also, like this is season two. Like, when did this confessional come in? Because like. I mean, people could make shit up. Yeah. And that's what like we thought maybe the first one was made up. I mean, yeah, it's all about like because when Taylor's like, oh, is it about me? And she goes, no, I got ones about you all the time, though. Yeah. So like it is what it is. But maybe she thinks that there are some truth to some of them. Yeah, you never know. Yeah. But. Macy did say in this episode, she's like, you know, we've learned that some of them have truth behind them, so we can't dismiss all of them. Right, right, right. So I don't know. Jesse in an interview says that Jen needs to be held accountable for what she's lied about. And then she brings up the fact that she's not related to Ben Affleck. I'm like, I'm like that. Yeah, like that's stupid. She lied about it, but that's also embarrassing. She lied about that. Yeah. So like, think we just need to let that one go. She thought it was true at first, right? She did think it was true, apparently. Her. Yeah. But then she didn't let it go. whole family was like, Yeah. OK. So but like, it's like, yeah, really, that's what you're going to be. You're upset that she's she told you that Ben Affleck was her first cousin. What were you hoping to get out of that? Why are you so why are you so upset that he's not her first cousin? Were you hoping? to meet Ben Affleck? ⁓ I don't ⁓ So anyway, that ends the sex party drama. Sex lady. ⁓ the episode ends with. all of the girls and by all of them, I mean every single one of them going out to dinner. OK, so Whitney, Jen, Miranda, Taylor, all of them, the whole gang. So Macy is having a dinner to make a big announcement to the girls. Mikayla gets there first and she says that she had put Macy in charge of the seating arrangements, but clearly she needs to modify them because Macy has her sitting across from Whitney. So they all have like name tags as she starts moving them around. Macy thinks that having Whitney around the girls is a good test to see if she gets along with the other girls now. And she really is hoping that Whitney can have a second, with them and that everyone deserves a second chance. So ⁓ she's rooting for in this moment to see if she can, you know, be there. OK. Whitney shows up and keep in mind, she's three days postpartum. ⁓ wow. Like she like she gets there and to me is like, wow, three days postpartum like she is because she had her baby at the end of the last episode. It's like we're like bang, bang episode to episode. And this is the end of this episode. Yes. So like we're just we're just rolling these rolling these episodes out one after another. They're filming, filming, filming. OK. OK. So. Jessi says that she's questioning Whitney's intentions for wanting to be back in the group and she's not sure if it's for clout or if her intentions are sincere. Okay. I don't think she's gone that far where like she's not entitled to come back. Right. And she has her own followers. Like, it's not like she's like starving over here. she's been signed on for two seasons of Secret Lives and Mormon. I was like, yeah, she had a contract for this season. Yeah. So ⁓ clout thing needs to be dropped. like ⁓ whatever. Well it's one thing like Miranda coming back. Yeah, yes. But Whitney was like part of it. Right. And you all triggered her like shit. don't forget she was a part of it since Miranda. Yeah right. Like OG Miranda. So yeah Miranda left. So Jessi are you in this for clout? Because you weren't around then. Right. You didn't know that girl. Like has been there since the beginning. ⁓ Whitney says that she's happy to be there and she's happy that they're starting to rekindle some friendships. Whitney says she heard about Leila's remove the taboo party from Jen, and she was a little surprised that she wasn't invited, but she's just going to chalk it up to she just had a baby. OK, that's fair. But I don't think she would have been invited anyway, because was Jesse and Demi that was playing. Yeah, yeah, they don't like her. So Macy announces to the girls that the reason that she brought them all together was because she wanted to announce to them that she got a book deal. And all the girls are really excited for Macy and for her to have this opportunity to share with the world her experiences. So Macy, from my understanding, and I need to dig into this a little bit more. So she got pregnant and her... baby daddy passed away. So her first child is not with her husband, from my understanding. there's other stuff that goes into that, but it's really about that and going through like loss and grief and then like raising a child. So I guess when all of that was going on, her dad gave her like a notebook and said, when you're upset, write in this. When you're mad at us, write in this. When you're happy, write in this. like, hopefully one day this can help someone else out. So that's turned into a book. Yeah. Okay. So she and all the girls, even Taylor's like, I know she's been wanting this for a while. She's been wanting to do this for a while. So like, I'm really happy for her. And through all of this, like at first, like Demi like has a smile, but then it like slowly fades and it just seems like very not enthuse or happy. Yeah. And so a producer brings that up to Jen that to me maybe seemed a little bit jealous. OK, she was trying to hide it. And Jen says that to me puts up a front that she's a confident and put together woman, but she may have more insecurities than anyone and she's really good at hiding it. ⁓ wow. OK. So and even after she makes this book announcement, Macy tells the girls that she's hosting a celebrity pickleball tournament and Demi is like, what's that? And like all the other The girls are like, ⁓ that's cool. And she goes, ⁓ yeah, like they're going to like bring a bunch of celebrities and then like, I'm hosting it. And so she's like, so I thought it would be a good girls trip weekend for all of us to go out for that. Yeah. And so what he's like, yeah, absolutely. And like then Micaela and to me are like, this seems like a really bad idea. So that I guess that's going to be in the next couple of episodes, potentially. Celebrity Pickleball Tournament hosted by Macy. It ends with Macy saying that since she's confessing everything in this book, it's time for the others to confess. yeah. She says it can be spicy or something just about themselves. And then Mikayla says, so it's the truth box. And Macy says it's not the truth box. It's going to be all anonymous. And to me goes, yeah, like the truth box. Lila asked Miranda if she's ready for this. And Miranda asked if this is her initiation. So you want to get back in all the girls start writing down and like literally like this isn't like we're going to tell truths about one another. Like I'm going to put my feelings out about another person. It was just supposed to be like, just confess something. So all the girls write it down. And then when they start reading it, one of them says, I am trying to get pregnant. One of the girls says I once had a man suck on my toes and then I immediately left because I was so turned off. Another girl says I've had sex in five high school parking lots. What? Another. Everyone's like to me and she's like, why are you looking at me? Another another girl says I swallowed for the first time and immediately threw up after. One of them said my favorite place to do it is in a swimming pool or like a hot tub. And like everyone's like, oh, hashtag UTI. Hashtag. And the last one that they read on camera says, I think Jen is fake and all the girls are speechless. OK. And that's where it ends. That's the end. So season two, episode four in the books. Next week, we'll get back to episode five. It'll probably pick up. But maybe we'll see who said that. I don't know. Yeah. It cuts to them in a parking lot. And Miranda's like, had to have either been. a high school parking lot? No, the restaurant parking lot. Miranda's like it had to have either been Mikayla, Leila or Demi. OK, I think based off, I don't know what she was basing that off of. Yeah, they seemed like kind of like the typical suspects. Right, right. So and it was Jen with like Taylor and Miranda in the parking lot when they're talking about this. All right. Well. We'll pick it back up next week, I guess. Yeah. All right.
