- 0:04Speaker 2: Is it of interest?
- 0:05Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 0:06Speaker 2: Email? Oh interest?
- 0:10Speaker 1: If I can find the email of interest, now, let's
- 0:12Speaker 1: see where and it has Oh, there it is, and
- 0:16Speaker 1: it's got a picture with it. It says hello radio
- 0:21Speaker 1: from hell as Cassie from Parma, Idaho. Here, thanks for
- 0:25Speaker 1: letting me listen. Okay, now bear in mind if you
- 0:29Speaker 1: go to X ninety six dot com slash live, this
- 0:32Speaker 1: is a picture of a car in Parma, Idaho. Thanks
- 0:35Speaker 1: for letting me listen. I've been listening since before I
- 0:37Speaker 1: can remember. I have been living in Idaho for seven
- 0:40Speaker 1: years now, but just can't give you up for local
- 0:42Speaker 1: radio shows. So I was at the car wash today,
- 0:46Speaker 1: lo and behold the car in front of me, which
- 0:49Speaker 1: was a newer make vehicle, had an old kjq's cowsticker
- 0:53Speaker 1: on it.
- 0:54Speaker 3: Wow.
- 0:54Speaker 1: I also had an Idaho license plate, but they they
- 0:59Speaker 1: must have a local ties to Utah. I just thought
- 1:02Speaker 1: it was cool to see. This picture is enclosed anyway,
- 1:05Speaker 1: I hope you're all having a good day or a
- 1:07Speaker 1: great day. Cassie and Parma, Idoh.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Well, I don't know what kind of filter she is
- 1:13Speaker 2: because we never made a red version of that.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Stick it's I think it's just it's it's it's I
- 1:20Speaker 1: think it's just there's look orange.
- 1:22Speaker 3: It's black and white just because of she's behind him
- 1:26Speaker 3: in a car wash, you.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Know, Okay, you know they're white there in the car wash.
- 1:30Speaker 1: And yeah, just an ambient light of some sort. And
- 1:34Speaker 1: uh and I mean she says it's a newer model car.
- 1:36Speaker 1: You hardly can tell.
- 1:38Speaker 3: So that but that means they'd have to have saved
- 1:40Speaker 3: the sticker to put on the new car or made
- 1:43Speaker 3: the new one, which is a thing too. Yeah, what
- 1:48Speaker 3: you can make, you can have a sticker made. Yeah
- 1:50Speaker 3: about with anything. You don't have to wait for a
- 1:53Speaker 3: radio station to make it in.
- 1:55Speaker 1: I don't believe that you're you're just now you're just
- 1:59Speaker 1: giving me a hard time. The cowstickers, I think they
- 2:03Speaker 1: were at the time, we well we did.
- 2:08Speaker 3: We did cowstickers because of our affiliation with cream a
- 2:12Speaker 3: weaver or milk.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Well, mainly because of our affiliation with a milk truck
- 2:17Speaker 1: that we had, which led to the affiliation with So Sour.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Our owners saw this old milk truck out parked out
- 2:25Speaker 1: in a field somewhere and said that'd make a great
- 2:28Speaker 1: station vehicle. Let's let's get that mega station vehicle. And
- 2:34Speaker 1: I think somebody said, no, we don't want to want that,
- 2:37Speaker 1: because you know it could just that's just a place
- 2:39Speaker 1: where the DJs can go in and have sex inside
- 2:42Speaker 1: the milk.
- 2:43Speaker 3: That's not how they said it, but that's the radio
- 2:45Speaker 3: for a Leavers.
- 2:46Speaker 1: I think it was a dj F palace.
- 2:48Speaker 2: DJF palace. I'm not going to pay for a dj
- 2:51Speaker 2: F palace.
- 2:53Speaker 1: But our sales manager went ahead got that milk truck
- 2:58Speaker 1: and he got it fxed up and painted up like,
- 3:01Speaker 1: you know, spotted like a cow, and we called it Bessie.
- 3:05Speaker 1: And then we gave away cream weaver milk wherever we
- 3:08Speaker 1: went and people loved that. And yeah, and then the
- 3:15Speaker 1: cowsticker came along as part of that, and there was
- 3:17Speaker 1: a Christmas cowsticker, which I quite like. It was that
- 3:20Speaker 1: sticker with Bessie with a with a Christmas wreath. I
- 3:24Speaker 1: guess on her head, around the neck around the neck
- 3:26Speaker 1: is around her neck.
- 3:28Speaker 2: I've got a one of the things I stole when
- 3:32Speaker 2: the station shut down. It was a framed mock up
- 3:38Speaker 2: of the sticker, but it's big. It's like, you know,
- 3:41Speaker 2: two foot by three foot.
- 3:43Speaker 1: I've got it.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Hanging up in my TV room. You took it, I did,
- 3:48Speaker 2: and a bunch of things.
- 3:49Speaker 1: It just would have gone into.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Yeah, it just would have sat in the in the
- 3:54Speaker 2: garage in the back until somebody threw it away. I
- 3:59Speaker 2: mean a lot of those records over there.
- 4:02Speaker 1: I took a lot of old records out of there.
- 4:06Speaker 1: They were seventy eights and they were all like all
- 4:09Speaker 1: these old Broadway show tunes and things like that, and
- 4:12Speaker 1: I took them out of the garage because somebody would
- 4:15Speaker 1: would have just thrown them away. And then I eventually
- 4:17Speaker 1: just threw them away.
- 4:19Speaker 2: Should have given them to should have at least Brad.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Took him to the DAN. I did give Brad a
- 4:25Speaker 1: bunch of old records.
- 4:26Speaker 3: Speaking of Brady, quickly, I saw he posted last week
- 4:33Speaker 3: there's a show going on in Ogden to celebrate Ogden's
- 4:38Speaker 3: whatever If anniversary. And as part of the poster, he
- 4:44Speaker 3: made a poster of notable Ogdenites and he put us
- 4:50Speaker 3: on the poster. There's a bunch of people on there,
- 4:53Speaker 3: but he added us to the post pool and there's
- 4:55Speaker 3: a concert going on this weekend, and that's kind of celebrating.
- 5:01Speaker 3: I'll see if I can find that story for you, Bill.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Okay, we can do it in the news.
- 5:04Speaker 2: There's the picture. Sue took it. She was listening and
- 5:09Speaker 2: took it and sent it to me.
- 5:12Speaker 3: I didn't know you had that.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Yeah, it was in the lobby. Oh, somebody's just gonna
- 5:18Speaker 2: throw it away.
- 5:19Speaker 3: I'm glad you kept it.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Bessie, the kJ Q milk. We used to go to
- 5:23Speaker 1: the ballet and uh part Bessie. Bessie would be parked
- 5:27Speaker 1: outside and an intermission of the ballet, people would come
- 5:30Speaker 1: out and have milk and cookies. Those that's back when
- 5:34Speaker 1: we had good ideas.
- 5:37Speaker 2: We still have good ideas.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Well, we don't.
- 5:40Speaker 2: It's execution that is the problem. But the thing is,
- 5:45Speaker 2: though the guy, the general manager, who said it would
- 5:49Speaker 2: turn into it DJ he wasn't wrong.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Really really, I never did it
- 6:00Speaker 2: Interest
