  absorber. They're able to help facilitate

  the trading in the way that there's not these wild swings in

  price, which is very important, right?

  We all want to see that exchange reputation and trading

  experiences. The exchanges want to ensure

  that newly listed tokens don't suffer from illiquid order

  books, which could frustrate traders, compliance and

  regulatory standards blah blah blah volume and revenue

  generations that the exchanges generate revenue from trading

  fees. So they want to have market

  makers that are going to ensure that there's going to be volume,

  institutional and retail confidence investors or more

  likely to trade a token when they see a tight bid to ask

  spread. That means that there's enough

  the world is caught on that the United States economy is headed

  All right, let me show you this real quickly then I'm going to

  explain to you what this means is you're going to be hearing a

  lot about stagflation probably in the coming throughout the

  rest of 2025. Be prepared.

  Look, I don't have a crystal ball, but I can tell you now

  it's being talked about in mainstream media and it's
• 28:53
  happening, OK. And they only talk about bad
• 28:56
  things on mainstream media until it's already going on.

  They don't like predict that we're they they will only

  recognize things like recessions, big inflation after

  it's already happening because, well, there's a lot of theories

  why we'll leave that alone. But let's go out here.

  Even bringing up the word is an indicator in and of itself,

  feeding a cycle of expectations and altered behavior.

  So enough of that. I'm not going to bore you with

  reading through that entire article, but I want to explain

  to you so you know what stagflation is.

  Take the word stagflation. Break it in.

  Stag doesn't mean a stag party or a or a horse or anything else
• 30:44
  or a Unicorn. Stag stands for stagnant
• 30:47
  recession like that that that refers to the economy being
• 30:51
  stagnant recessionary environment.

  Inflation refers to inflation. So I need to get my old friend
• 30:59
  Gomer Pyle, Jerome Powell from the United States Federal

  Reserve to show you why this what it what the impact will be
• 31:07
  on the economy, interest rates, monetary policy, all that good

  stuff. You're going to learn.

  Stagflation is the scariest thing in the world to this guy.

  He hates it. Our old friend Jerome Powell,

  Remember, what Jerome loves to do is this print money.

  That's the only thing he knows how to do.

  It's the only thing the Fed has done.

  Print, print, print, print, print because they can print

  unlimited amounts of dollars. But here's the interesting part.

  Maybe we'll we'll let him peek out now.

  We'll shut him up. Why stagflation is such a big
• 32:25
  deal is because when there's a recession, why is there a shadow
• 32:30
  on that? That's bugging me.

  There we go. When there's a recession, OK,
• 32:35
  what the Fed will want to do is lower interest rates.
• 32:39
  When they lower interest rates, that lowers the value of the
• 32:43
  dollar. And when the value of the dollar
• 32:45
  gets lowered, what that does is it creates more inflation.
• 32:51
  Come on. OK, Now then that becomes a
• 32:57
  problem because we already have high inflation.
• 33:00
  And so to fight inflation, what they have to do is raise
• 33:03
  interest rates. But if they raise interest
• 33:06
  rates, that makes the economy slow down more.
• 33:09
  So they're in this damned if they do, damned if they don't
• 33:14
  type environment with stagflation is like I used to
• 33:18
  say, if you went to the United States Federal Reserve
• 33:21
  headquarters in Washington, DC and said, oh, stagflation, it's
• 33:26
  like worse than it's worse than screaming fire, right?
• 33:29
  They all scurry out of the building like a bunch of little
• 33:31
  rats. No comment on that.
• 33:34
  But none the less that is, is a is a very precarious situation.
• 33:40
  Stagflation is what occurred in the United States in the 1970s.
• 33:44
  That's when that was there was no, I was a little baby boy.
• 33:47
  I barely remember it. But but during the
• 33:50
  stagflationary period of the 70s, there were no
• 33:53
  cryptocurrencies, right? But there was gold and silver
• 33:56
  and gold and silver skyrocketed in price.

  Now, and I always say this, you don't have to agree with it, but

  there's real big similarities between crypto and precious
• 34:09
  metals, undeniable, OK? The big difference is that one's
• 34:12
  physical, one's electronic, and some other minor differences.

  But essentially in terms of how they react to market conditions,

  I believe there's a lot more similarities than there are
• 34:23
  differences as we move into this stagflationary environment.

  Because remember, this guy is up a Creek without a paddle, right?

  They're putting in all these tariffs that's going to create
• 34:36
  inflation. That's going to create

  inflation. The only way they can fight

  inflation. Remember this, the only thing

  they can do is, is, is, is, is raising interest rates.

  If they raise interest rates to fight inflation from where they
• 34:51
  are now, that slows the economy down even more.

  Well, then they run over there and they're like, oh, the

  economy's going down, the economy's going down, we need to
• 35:00
  cut rates. Well, then they cut rates, but
• 35:03
  then boom, that creates even more inflation.

  It becomes a very unpalatable cycle for these big economists.

  But what does well in those environments are things that are
• 35:17
  finite in nature. OK, That's why silver and gold.

  I mean, gold and silver went up multiples.

  I think like silver went up like 50 times and valued between 1970
• 35:29
  and 1980, maybe even more. Gold went up crazy amounts to
• 35:35
  things that are finite in nature, Things like this, right,

  Unicorn fart dust, cryptocurrency, probably things
• 35:44
  like Bitcoin, right, are going to do very, very well in that
• 35:49
  environment because they are independent from the Fiat
• 35:54
  monetary system, right? What we look at, when we're
• 35:56
  looking at Jerome Powell, what we're talking about is monetary
• 35:59
  policy. What the government does, like
• 36:02
  what Elon and Trump are doing, that is called fiscal policy.

  That's the government's fiscal policy.

  There's a big difference. Monetary policy is like the

  Wizard of Oz magic, magic Wonderland.

  You know, it's like, it's like a, it's like a carnival fun

  house that Jerome Powell runs. And and as that continues to

  suffer, right, we got to remember that certain things

  operate independent. We measure Unicorn fire test in

  dollars, but people in different countries, right?

  They measure it in different currencies really, right.

  ourselves from thinking about things in U.S. dollar terms.

  And the icing on top of the cake is that there's only this.

  jug any bigger. So unfortunately, due to some

  poor decisions over the decades by our previous government

  administrations of all types not making a political statement, we

  are in a precarious situation where the value of the US

  dollar, you know, unless they change the laws of mathematics

  and somehow change the fact that 2 + 2 = 4, which they can't do

  because mathematics shows no forgiveness on the altar of
• 38:07
  truth, We're in an environment where the real value of the US
• 38:12
  dollar, unfortunately, and I love this country, I love what
• 38:15
  the founding fathers did, but the reality is the real value of
• 38:19
  the dollar will likely continue to go down.

  It's designed to do that anyway. Under the best case scenario,
• 38:25
  they want to have 2% inflation, which means slowly over time,
• 38:30
  they boil us like frogs and take away the value in the dollar.

  I know I'm on a big rant about economics, you know, but that

  again, it how does it tie back to UFD?

  It ties back to UFD because this is independent of the Fiat money

  system. It's on the blockchain.

  going on with this carnival of monetary and fiscal policy and
