• TMPA Takes Law Enforcement’s Voice to the Texas Capitol — TMPA Legislative Liaison John Wilkerson testified during a heated House committee hearing examining prosecutorial integrity and accountability. Travis County District Attorney José Garza’s office faced pointed questioning from lawmakers about its policies and outside influences. For Texas officers, the issue is straightforward: cops can make the arrest and build the case, but what happens after that arrest matters. TMPA will continue making sure Texas law enforcement has a voice at the Capitol.
