Speaker 1: Hello, everyone, and welcome to the Jeffrey Epstein Show. I'm
0:04
Speaker 1: your host, Bobby Capucci, and this is a morning update.
0:10
Speaker 1: What's up everyone in Greetings from Sin City. So I
0:14
Speaker 1: told you as soon as they hired Marty Singer and
0:17
Speaker 1: Andrew Brettler over at Team Joe Exotic of the Winsor
0:21
Speaker 1: Family that the full court press would begin. They would
0:25
Speaker 1: start their attacks on Virginia and folks. It's almost as
0:29
Speaker 1: if I know what I'm talking about. In the new
0:33
Speaker 1: filing that has been filed with the courts by Prince
0:36
Speaker 1: Andrew's team, they're basically calling her a money grubber, somebody
0:40
Speaker 1: who's just looking for a payday. Now, that's all fine
0:45
Speaker 1: and well to say, but you better have the receipts.
0:50
Speaker 1: And it certainly doesn't look like the Joe Exotic of
0:52
Speaker 1: the Windsor Family possesses any of those. Instead, what he
0:57
Speaker 1: possesses is a big fan and a bunch of lies.
1:03
Speaker 1: Oh I was at the pizza place. Oh I don't
1:05
Speaker 1: know Virginia. Oh I've never met her. Yeah, why are
1:08
Speaker 1: you sending Gallan Maxwell emails about her? Why is there
1:11
Speaker 1: a picture with your hand around her waist? With the
1:16
Speaker 1: brazenness at which they attempt to lie to us on
1:19
Speaker 1: a regular basis is unbelievable. And the fact that people
1:25
Speaker 1: still buy this bullshit is just beyond me. I don't
1:30
Speaker 1: know how anyone can look at this situation and not
1:34
Speaker 1: see Prince Andrew for the scoundrel ass mfe is This
1:42
Speaker 1: dude is just disgusting. You have daughters, bro, What are
1:48
Speaker 1: you doing? How would you feel if the roles were
1:52
Speaker 1: reversed and this was your daughter? Is this what you
1:54
Speaker 1: would tell your lawyer? You want your lawyers to say
1:56
Speaker 1: about her? What's next? They're gonna say that Virginia I
2:00
Speaker 1: had a beer one time. Oh no, oh, Virginia smoked
2:03
Speaker 1: a cigarette. It is all just so fucking absurd. Here's
2:08
Speaker 1: an idea. Let's go to court and let's see. No,
2:12
Speaker 1: you don't want to do that, do you. No. It's
2:14
Speaker 1: a game of technicalities and loopholes. And now they're going
2:17
Speaker 1: with the scorched earth theory. Well, folks, I told you
2:23
Speaker 1: this was coming, and guess what if I knew it
2:27
Speaker 1: was coming, you better believe that Virginia's lawyers knew it
2:30
Speaker 1: was coming, So they're gonna be prepared for this, I
2:33
Speaker 1: would guess, But me personally. You already know I have
2:38
Speaker 1: a few things to say. So let's jump into this
2:41
Speaker 1: article from The Guardian and let's see what they have
2:46
Speaker 1: to say about this situation. Doesn't seem to have an
2:53
Speaker 1: author's name here for this article, so I'm guessing it's
2:56
Speaker 1: a staff article. So there you are headline. Prince Andrew
3:01
Speaker 1: asked US judge to dismiss lawsuit alleging sexual abuse. Of
3:05
Speaker 1: course he does, and I get it right. I wouldn't
3:09
Speaker 1: want to go to court either. If I was him,
3:10
Speaker 1: I'd be doing everything in the world I possibly could
3:15
Speaker 1: to make sure that I wasn't going to court either,
3:18
Speaker 1: especially if I knew I did something wrong. And you know,
3:21
Speaker 1: he knows what's up. What do you think he's sitting there.
3:23
Speaker 1: He has himself fooled. He might have some other people fooled,
3:26
Speaker 1: but he ain't fool in himself. He knows what he did.
3:31
Speaker 1: The Joe Exotic of the Windsor family has asked the
3:33
Speaker 1: US judge to dismiss Virginia Robert's civil lawsuit accusing him
3:38
Speaker 1: of sexually abusing her when she was seventeen, in a
3:41
Speaker 1: filing with the US District Court in Manhattan on Friday,
3:45
Speaker 1: the Duke of York, said that case should be dismissed
3:47
Speaker 1: because Roberts failed to state a claim warranting relief. Again,
3:52
Speaker 1: technicalities and loopholes. This is what they're trying to do.
3:57
Speaker 1: Their whole, entire goal is to never be in front
4:00
Speaker 1: of a judge, never to answer any questions, never to
4:03
Speaker 1: give a deposition, and certainly never to go under oath.
4:08
Speaker 1: You've seen the way this moron was stumbling around his
4:10
Speaker 1: words with Emily Maitliss, wearing kid gloves with him. Can
4:14
Speaker 1: you imagine if he was sitting down with a real interrogator,
4:18
Speaker 1: somebody who didn't give a fly an f that he
4:20
Speaker 1: was a prince, somebody who just wanted to extract answers. Yeah,
4:25
Speaker 1: that's gonna work out well. So of course his team
4:29
Speaker 1: of high profile shit talking lawyers are gonna do everything
4:34
Speaker 1: they can to keep his repugnant ass away from anything
4:40
Speaker 1: like that. He also said that if dismissal were not granted,
4:45
Speaker 1: Robert should provide a more definitive statement of her allegations.
4:49
Speaker 1: I mean, what exactly is it that you want, mister prince?
4:54
Speaker 1: You want a full accounting of what happened? Why don't
4:56
Speaker 1: we ask Maxwell why don't we call Glenn Maxwell to
4:59
Speaker 1: the stand and see which she has to say. This
5:04
Speaker 1: guy is the biggest ninni in the history of the world.
5:09
Speaker 1: And every time I look at his dumb ass face
5:11
Speaker 1: and the stupid ass expressions on it, on that dumb face,
5:15
Speaker 1: I want to vomit. This man is an absolute sore
5:23
Speaker 1: on the underbelly of the UK and an embarrassment. Oh.
5:29
Speaker 1: We have plenty of embarrassments here in America, have you
5:31
Speaker 1: no doubt? But this guy, Oh, he's right up there
5:34
Speaker 1: with with our best. An absolute piece of garbage. The document,
5:42
Speaker 1: signed by lawyer Andrew Brettler, said, accusing a member of
5:46
Speaker 1: the world's best known royal family of serious misconduct has
5:50
Speaker 1: helped Roberts create a media frenzy online and in the
5:53
Speaker 1: traditional press. It is unfortunate but undeniable that sensationalism and
6:00
Speaker 1: nuendo have prevailed over the truth. What is the truth,
6:03
Speaker 1: mister Bretler. We've been trying to get to it forever. Now,
6:07
Speaker 1: all of a sudden you come in and you're the
6:09
Speaker 1: arbiter of truth. I got news for you, Hollywood, Not
6:14
Speaker 1: this time around. Pal. You're not intimidating nobody. Nobody's scared
6:19
Speaker 1: of you. I'm certainly not scared of any of you clowns.
6:26
Speaker 1: You people are the biggest kinds of bullies on earth,
6:29
Speaker 1: and the people that I can't stand the most. To
6:36
Speaker 1: sit here and try and demeanor the way you're doing
6:39
Speaker 1: it in the news is exactly what I expected. And
6:42
Speaker 1: that's why I did that whole entire two part episode
6:45
Speaker 1: about Marty Singer and Brettler and this whole entire law firm.
6:51
Speaker 1: This is their mo They think that this is the
6:55
Speaker 1: proper way to go about it, because when you're dealing
6:57
Speaker 1: with Hollywood, this usually is the right way to go
6:59
Speaker 1: about it. But they're making a critical error. This time.
7:04
Speaker 1: The ship is sailed. The days of victim blaming are over.
7:08
Speaker 1: Nobody's down with that now, except for like some in
7:12
Speaker 1: cells and some weirdos. Even people who a few years
7:17
Speaker 1: ago might have looked the other way are not anymore.
7:22
Speaker 1: Everyone sickened by you, Joe Exotic of the Windsor family,
7:27
Speaker 1: and we're certainly all sickened by your lawyer's attempt here
7:30
Speaker 1: to demean Virginia. And if they thought that this was
7:37
Speaker 1: just gonna pass by the wayside without an absolute evisceration,
7:42
Speaker 1: they have not been paying attention. Roberts has initiated this
7:52
Speaker 1: baseless lawsuit against Joe Exotic of the Windsor family to
7:56
Speaker 1: achieve another payday at his expense and at the expense
8:00
Speaker 1: of those closest to him. Epstein's abuse of Roberts does
8:03
Speaker 1: not justify her public campaign against Prince Andrew. Hey, Brettler,
8:08
Speaker 1: what if it was your daughter? How about that, buddy?
8:12
Speaker 1: Would that justify it? Then you are an absolute clown Brettler. Okay,
8:20
Speaker 1: your whole law firm full of clowns? Do you do
8:23
Speaker 1: all of you drive together in one car and then
8:26
Speaker 1: pile out eleven deep dent d d d N dent dent.
8:30
Speaker 1: Now is that your entrance music? Going after somebody who
8:35
Speaker 1: has been through what this poor girl has been through,
8:38
Speaker 1: and to try and to mean her as a liar
8:40
Speaker 1: like this, There's no other way to go about it.
8:42
Speaker 1: You can't perform your job with a little more decency.
8:46
Speaker 1: Of course, you can't. Rattlesnake ass serpent MF. Lawyers for
8:55
Speaker 1: Roberts did not immediately respond to a requests for comment.
8:59
Speaker 1: Roberts thirty eight, who is one of Epstein's most prominent accusers,
9:02
Speaker 1: sued Andrew for unspecified damages in August, and you know
9:07
Speaker 1: what the kicker is, Virginia wouldn't have to sue him
9:10
Speaker 1: for damages if the law enforcement would have just done
9:13
Speaker 1: their job from the get go. You know what kind
9:17
Speaker 1: of different conversation this all is if law enforcement did
9:20
Speaker 1: their job, If they had some a steal in their
9:22
Speaker 1: spine and they slapped him with Rico or her with
9:25
Speaker 1: Rico the same way they did with Keith rayin Neery,
9:28
Speaker 1: the same way they did with r. Kelly. What it's
9:31
Speaker 1: not good enough for Maxwell? Then you could have alleviated
9:34
Speaker 1: all of this bullshit and he would be looking at
9:36
Speaker 1: Rico predicates folks, not a civil case. And then I'd
9:40
Speaker 1: like to see how much Yap and Bretler would be doing.
9:43
Speaker 1: Probably not as much because Rico is the manna of
9:48
Speaker 1: the gods. When it comes to tools that the government
9:51
Speaker 1: has in their toolbox. Why do you think they use
9:53
Speaker 1: it against every single Italian person that goes in front
9:57
Speaker 1: of them? But no, not for this. Not If you're
10:00
Speaker 1: a molester. You want to be involved in sports gambling,
10:04
Speaker 1: well that's going to be seven years. You want to
10:08
Speaker 1: molest girls and be part of a trafficking organization, no
10:11
Speaker 1: big deal. As long as you're a prince, Well guess what,
10:14
Speaker 1: fuck him, fuck that, and fuck the royal family. Roberts
10:24
Speaker 1: also accused Andrew of abusing her at Epstein's mansion in
10:27
Speaker 1: Manhattan and on one of Epstein's private islands in the
10:30
Speaker 1: US Virgin Islands. Andrew sixty one, a former friend of Epstein, No,
10:35
Speaker 1: it is bis bff. Okay, who flies across the pond
10:39
Speaker 1: to break up with a dude? Unless you're in a
10:41
Speaker 1: relationship with him, then that's a different story. Then I
10:44
Speaker 1: get it. You're his friend, you're the Prince of England.
10:47
Speaker 1: You're flying across the pond to go and break up
10:50
Speaker 1: with a child molester in person? Oh okay, Yeah, you're
10:54
Speaker 1: a hell of a guy. You're exactly who i'd want
10:56
Speaker 1: to be representing my country. You desc gusting excuse for
11:01
Speaker 1: a man, Andrew sixty one, excuse me a past there.
11:09
Speaker 1: The prince, who is the Queen's second son, gave up
11:12
Speaker 1: many royal duties and lost support from charities and organizations
11:16
Speaker 1: after a disastrous November twenty nineteen interview in which he
11:21
Speaker 1: did not appear as sympathetic towards Epstein's survivors. Well, this
11:25
Speaker 1: just reinforces that right. If he was sympathetic, don't you
11:29
Speaker 1: think he would have said to his lawyer's, look, where's
11:31
Speaker 1: some gloves here? Guys, be a little cautious. I don't
11:34
Speaker 1: want victim blaming going on. Defend me, but no. So
11:40
Speaker 1: it just goes to show you that he didn't care
11:43
Speaker 1: then and he certainly doesn't care now. Just another piece
11:51
Speaker 1: of disinformation about how you know he cares so much. Oh,
11:57
Speaker 1: he he's so worried about the survivors, not him or
12:01
Speaker 1: the Royal family. They haven't done a thing, lifted one
12:04
Speaker 1: single finger to try and help these survivors. Not one
12:08
Speaker 1: has the Royal family made a donation to a human
12:11
Speaker 1: trafficking organization? Well, I mean, why would they do that
12:15
Speaker 1: considering their family member is part of a human trafficking ring.
12:22
Speaker 1: Never mind the fact that he's hanging out with Nyguard
12:25
Speaker 1: or arms dealers or anyone else. But there's a real
12:27
Speaker 1: good guy. So if we're calling Virginia's character into question,
12:32
Speaker 1: then you better damn well believe that Prince Andrew, the
12:36
Speaker 1: Joe Exotic of the Windsor family can count on getting
12:39
Speaker 1: dragged on this podcast on a regular basis. Run home
12:43
Speaker 1: and tell that a lawyer for Roberts, told the Daily
12:47
Speaker 1: Telegraph the Duke's newsnight interview where he discussed the allegations,
12:52
Speaker 1: will form part of the case against him. Uh yeah,
12:57
Speaker 1: that monstrosity of an interview. Fuck a crash. That's the Hindenburg, folks,
13:02
Speaker 1: that's the Titanic hitting an iceberg. This dumb moron gets
13:07
Speaker 1: up there, drooling all over himself, looking the fool. Then
13:12
Speaker 1: he has the audacity to call somebody else a liar.
13:15
Speaker 1: Oh okay. Sigared McAuley was quoted in the paper saying, frankly,
13:22
Speaker 1: it was very helpful for us. I don't know who
13:25
Speaker 1: would have advised him to do that. It was a
13:27
Speaker 1: very wrong move on his part to expose himself in
13:30
Speaker 1: that way. Yeah, it was talk about a blunder, big
13:34
Speaker 1: time blunder. And now his two thousand dollars an hour lawyers,
13:40
Speaker 1: well they're here to pick up the pieces. Well, good luck.
13:46
Speaker 1: At a hearing last month, Brettler told the US district
13:49
Speaker 1: Judge Lewis Kaplan, who oversees Robert's case, that he believed
13:53
Speaker 1: the settlement agreement absolves our client from any and all liability.
13:57
Speaker 1: David boy is one of Robert's lawyers has said he
14:00
Speaker 1: considered the agreement irrelevant to Robert's case, and I'm pretty
14:05
Speaker 1: sure that this document is irrelevant. I highly doubt it's
14:09
Speaker 1: going to prove to be a big boon for the
14:14
Speaker 1: Joe Exotic of the Windsor family. But we'll have to see.
14:21
Speaker 1: The next hearing is scheduled for the third of November.
14:25
Speaker 1: Roberts was sued separately for twenty million dollars on Thursday
14:29
Speaker 1: for allegedly defaming on Twitter an artist who has said
14:32
Speaker 1: she brought women to Epstein but denied being a recruiter.
14:36
Speaker 1: So you brought women to Epstein as an adult, but
14:39
Speaker 1: you're not a recruiter. Huh, Okay, sure, I guess. The
14:44
Speaker 1: artist Rina o Amman or Amen whatever, sued over tweets
14:49
Speaker 1: including that she procured and partook in the abuse of minors.
14:54
Speaker 1: Amon called the tweets maliciously false and said Epstein also
14:58
Speaker 1: abused her. Epstein killed himself allegedly at age sixty six
15:03
Speaker 1: in a Manhattan jail in August twenty nineteen, while awaiting
15:07
Speaker 1: trial on sex trafficking charges. Here's an interesting question, and
15:11
Speaker 1: of course this is just me throwing it out there.
15:14
Speaker 1: I have no evidence of this pretty interesting that Rena
15:20
Speaker 1: has her lawsuit come right at the same time as
15:23
Speaker 1: Brettler and Marty Singer begin their full frontal assault of Virginia.
15:29
Speaker 1: Pretty odd how these timelines are meeting. Upon question is
15:34
Speaker 1: what's going on there? Is that a coordinated attack? Again,
15:38
Speaker 1: I have no proof of that, just a question. And
15:40
Speaker 1: when you're dealing with the people who are dealing with,
15:43
Speaker 1: all bets are off, folks. There's nothing that is off
15:45
Speaker 1: the table when you're talking about Jeffrey Epstein's criminal enterprise
15:50
Speaker 1: or the remnants of it, And that is exactly what
15:53
Speaker 1: we're talking about. And Prince Andrew, you were part of it.
15:57
Speaker 1: You were there, and according to Virginia, not only were
16:04
Speaker 1: you there, you took part in the abuse. So no
16:08
Speaker 1: matter what your boy Brettler has to say, no matter
16:11
Speaker 1: how many people you can dig up to file lawsuits,
16:15
Speaker 1: it's not gonna be enough because at the end of
16:18
Speaker 1: the day, you know what matters, not your technicalities, not
16:22
Speaker 1: your loopholes, and certainly not your two thousand dollars an
16:26
Speaker 1: hour lawyer. The truth matters. And when you get in
16:30
Speaker 1: front of that jury, then we'll see who's really the liar.
16:38
Speaker 1: If you'd like to contact me. You can do that
16:40
Speaker 1: at Bobby Kopuchi at ProtonMail dot com. That's Bo Bby
16:45
Speaker 1: c ap u Cci at ProtonMail dot com. You can
16:49
Speaker 1: also find me on Twitter at Bobby underscore c ap
16:54
Speaker 1: u Cci. The link that we discussed can be found
16:58
Speaker 1: in the description box. As for me, well, I'll be
17:02
Speaker 1: back later on folks, and you well keep the flags
17:06
Speaker 1: of discontent flying. Hello everyone, and welcome to the Jeffrey
17:11
Speaker 1: Epstein Show. I'm your host, Bobby Capuci, and this is
17:17
Speaker 1: a morning update. What's up everybody in greetings from Sin City. Today,
17:24
Speaker 1: we're going to continue talking about Prince Andrew a little
17:27
Speaker 1: bit more and add a little bit more context, a
17:30
Speaker 1: little bit more meat to the bone. Now we left
17:34
Speaker 1: it off yesterday. The phone call occurred. Prince Andrew has
17:39
Speaker 1: a high profile Hollywood lawyer on tab to protect him,
17:45
Speaker 1: and according to Prince Andrew and his new lawyer, well,
17:50
Speaker 1: they weren't served properly. Now the judge, Judge Kaplan, is
17:56
Speaker 1: not really looking to deal with any bullshit. It seems
17:59
Speaker 1: like in this case, he already hammered them yesterday telling
18:03
Speaker 1: them that they were making this way more complicated than
18:07
Speaker 1: it needed to be and basically telling them that they're
18:13
Speaker 1: not going to be able to obfuscate here. They're going
18:15
Speaker 1: to have to come correct and they're going to have
18:18
Speaker 1: to provide some information to the court because these judges,
18:24
Speaker 1: I'm telling you right now, I am telling you, they
18:27
Speaker 1: do not like to feel disrespected. You want to talk
18:30
Speaker 1: about narcissism, you want to talk about narcissists, Go ahead
18:33
Speaker 1: and look at the bench and the judges that sit
18:36
Speaker 1: on these benches, and not all of them, right, you know,
18:38
Speaker 1: I don't deal in absolutes like other people. That's for
18:41
Speaker 1: the Sith, but for me. You look at a lot
18:43
Speaker 1: of these judges and they really really wield a lot
18:47
Speaker 1: of power. I mean even you look in like the
18:50
Speaker 1: family courts situation and how these judges wield extreme power
18:57
Speaker 1: over situations of children being moved from homes and this,
19:02
Speaker 1: that the other thing, and there's really not a lot
19:05
Speaker 1: of oversight. So you start messing around with these judges
19:10
Speaker 1: and you think you're gonna pull a fast one on
19:12
Speaker 1: them because y'all the Prince of England, Well you're really
19:16
Speaker 1: making a big mistake. Now if you get in front
19:19
Speaker 1: of these judges and you know, you give them their
19:21
Speaker 1: proper respect then whatever's whatever. But I'm talking about if
19:25
Speaker 1: you just try and ignore what a judge's telling you,
19:28
Speaker 1: if you try and ignore a case that you've been
19:31
Speaker 1: summons you've received a summons to forget it. These judges
19:34
Speaker 1: are gonna go ham on you. I believe the saying
19:37
Speaker 1: used to be they'll go medieval on that ass. And
19:42
Speaker 1: Judge Kaplan doesn't seem like he's going to want to
19:45
Speaker 1: mess around with these technicalities in this BS right, and
19:48
Speaker 1: why should he. There's been ample time for the Joe
19:53
Speaker 1: Exotic of the Windsor family to step up to the
19:55
Speaker 1: plate and do the right thing, but he continuously acts
20:00
Speaker 1: like the coward that he is, hides ducks behind mommy
20:06
Speaker 1: and refuses to answer any questions whatsoever. So the talk
20:13
Speaker 1: going into this was that that might have been the
20:16
Speaker 1: strategy that he was going to employ. I told you
20:19
Speaker 1: all here I thought that was a bad idea, and
20:21
Speaker 1: obviously his legal team did as well, considering they employed
20:25
Speaker 1: mister Hollywood. So there's a quick recap of what went
20:31
Speaker 1: on on that phone call yesterday and what we talked
20:34
Speaker 1: about yesterday, I should say, And today we have an
20:36
Speaker 1: article from the Sun, and I'm sure there'll be a
20:39
Speaker 1: couple of gold nuggets in here to help add a
20:43
Speaker 1: bit more context and to put a little bit more
20:46
Speaker 1: meat on the bone. So let's jump into this article
20:49
Speaker 1: from the US Sun and let's see what author Niemma
20:54
Speaker 1: Kavanaugh has to say headline, face up, Prince Andrew could
20:59
Speaker 1: be forced to give evidence if he dodges Virginia Roberts
21:02
Speaker 1: rape claims, says Epstein, victim's lawyer. Let's look caveat there, right,
21:08
Speaker 1: we're gonna be talking about Lisa Bloom in this article.
21:11
Speaker 1: I know I could hear you all sighing and rolling
21:13
Speaker 1: your eyes from there. I agree. But when we're talking
21:18
Speaker 1: about this situation and we're talking about Prince Andrew again,
21:22
Speaker 1: every one of these articles will offer up a golden
21:25
Speaker 1: nugget or two. And as much as I dislike Lisa Bloom,
21:29
Speaker 1: a broken clock is right twice a day even, and
21:33
Speaker 1: what she's saying here is correct. So let's jump into
21:37
Speaker 1: this article and let's see what's what. Prince Andrew could
21:42
Speaker 1: be forced to give evidence if he continues to dodge
21:44
Speaker 1: and duck Virginia Roberts rape claims. The lawyer representing Jeffrey
21:48
Speaker 1: Epstein's survivors has said that's kind of a broad statement.
21:54
Speaker 1: Lisa Bloom is representing a few survivors, but to say
21:58
Speaker 1: she's representing these survivors is a bit of a stretch. Right.
22:02
Speaker 1: So when I think of lawyers representing survivors of Jeffrey Epstein,
22:06
Speaker 1: obviously we think about Bradley Edwards, David Boys, Cigarette McCauley,
22:19
Speaker 1: Spencer Covin, right, we don't think about Lisa Bloom, not
22:24
Speaker 1: the first person that comes to mind. Right, So again,
22:27
Speaker 1: she is certainly a fame chaser, somebody that likes to
22:30
Speaker 1: insert her name, and somebody who you can almost guarantee
22:36
Speaker 1: is going to be looking to get the spotlight put
22:39
Speaker 1: on them for at least a few seconds in any
22:41
Speaker 1: one of these kinds of cases. Speaking on a BBC
22:47
Speaker 1: Radio four show this morning, lawyer Lisa Bloom said that
22:51
Speaker 1: a UK court could get involved if the Duke of
22:54
Speaker 1: York refuses to be questioned willingly. And that's a fact, right,
22:58
Speaker 1: She's not lying about that. According to the treaty and
23:02
Speaker 1: the agreements between the United States and the UK, that
23:05
Speaker 1: is certainly a possibility. The UK courts most certainly could
23:10
Speaker 1: step in here and force Andrew into giving this deposition.
23:14
Speaker 1: Speaking to the authorities and getting this whole entire thing
23:18
Speaker 1: under way. Again, the question is, just like in America,
23:23
Speaker 1: is there the willpower to go that far end up
23:27
Speaker 1: until this point? Unfortunately the powers that be well, they
23:32
Speaker 1: don't seem to have that kind of willpower. No one
23:38
Speaker 1: is above the law, she told today. We have legal
23:40
Speaker 1: cooperation agreement between the US and the UK. We have
23:44
Speaker 1: a system and a process, and especially when it comes
23:47
Speaker 1: to sexual assault cases, Miss Roberts is entitled to her
23:51
Speaker 1: day in court. He's entitled to present all his defenses.
23:55
Speaker 1: You see, I think we're forgetting a lot about that part. Right.
23:58
Speaker 1: Prince Andrew should be looking at this as an opportunity
24:02
Speaker 1: to clear his name, an opportunity to come forward and say, hey,
24:06
Speaker 1: look there's been a lot of confusion here. I had
24:08
Speaker 1: nothing to do with any of this. I wasn't part
24:11
Speaker 1: of this. And here's what I know about Jeffrey Epstein.
24:14
Speaker 1: But he can't do that, Kenny, because he knows what
24:20
Speaker 1: he did. And a man who is honest, a man
24:23
Speaker 1: who has integrity, a man who has a set of
24:26
Speaker 1: non negotiable life principles, would never ever be caught dead
24:32
Speaker 1: doing what Prince Andrew is doing. Right, now, I mean,
24:37
Speaker 1: if he was to go see Don Corleone, he'd get
24:40
Speaker 1: grabbed by the collar of his shirt, slapped in the
24:43
Speaker 1: face and told to act like a man. And that's
24:47
Speaker 1: the easy route. If he went to Mama Capuci's house, however,
24:52
Speaker 1: well I already told you, folks the outcome of that.
24:58
Speaker 1: There are many ordinary cases ever every day where citizens
25:01
Speaker 1: of the UK are acquired to answer questions under oath
25:04
Speaker 1: and depositions in US cases and vice versa, because we
25:08
Speaker 1: have a friendly agreement between the two countries. With that said,
25:11
Speaker 1: I need to digress a second here, and the lady
25:14
Speaker 1: who ran over that boy in England, the one who
25:18
Speaker 1: claimed diplomatic privilege and all of that shit, she should
25:20
Speaker 1: be extradited to England to face charges for reckless driving
25:23
Speaker 1: and manslaughter or whatever the equivalent is in England. This
25:28
Speaker 1: is a two way street, no pun intended, and we
25:31
Speaker 1: should honor our agreements in America as well. One of
25:34
Speaker 1: the things that really agitates me, one of the many
25:37
Speaker 1: things I should say that agitates me about the government
25:39
Speaker 1: here in America is they talk a big game, but
25:46
Speaker 1: they walk around like they're pigeonfooted. Under the Hague Evidence Convention,
25:53
Speaker 1: English courts must assist US courts to obtain oral and
25:57
Speaker 1: documentary evidence from a witness who is a resident in
26:00
Speaker 1: either England or Wales. Yeah, and that's a good agreement, right. Look,
26:05
Speaker 1: I don't I don't know how anyone in America could
26:08
Speaker 1: look at the UK or you know, England and not
26:12
Speaker 1: see are one of our greatest allies or somebody who
26:16
Speaker 1: we should cooperate with on every single level. Our ways
26:20
Speaker 1: of life are very very similar. Of course there's some differences.
26:23
Speaker 1: But you could take a brit and put them in America,
26:27
Speaker 1: or an American and put them in Britain and they'll
26:29
Speaker 1: get along just fine for the most part. Right. Of course,
26:33
Speaker 1: they'll be cultural norms that have to be experienced and
26:36
Speaker 1: all of that. But my point is we're very much
26:38
Speaker 1: more alike than we are different, and that goes for
26:41
Speaker 1: probably most people in the world if you really get
26:44
Speaker 1: down to it. Of Course, the loud mouths they'll always,
26:47
Speaker 1: you know, spotlight the differences, right because they don't want
26:49
Speaker 1: you to know that we're all the same. They want
26:52
Speaker 1: you to think that everybody's your enemy, everybody's the fucking boogeyman,
26:55
Speaker 1: and all of that nonsense. But we know, as citizens,
26:59
Speaker 1: especially now now citizens who are in the public square
27:02
Speaker 1: using the Internet, who coordinate and speak with each other
27:05
Speaker 1: on a regular basis. There's no you know, drape over
27:11
Speaker 1: the rest of the world anymore. We all understand who
27:13
Speaker 1: everybody is, and we all know that we have more
27:16
Speaker 1: in common than we have different and it's only a
27:19
Speaker 1: handful of agitators around the world that continue to try
27:24
Speaker 1: and stir shit up. Asked who could force the Prince
27:29
Speaker 1: to sit in a US court to face the allegations.
27:32
Speaker 1: Ms Bloom said it would be a UK court that
27:34
Speaker 1: would enforce it. Just as in my country. If a
27:37
Speaker 1: witness is needed for a case in England, they are
27:40
Speaker 1: required to cooperate. That is absolutely true. There are severe
27:44
Speaker 1: penalties if you don't cooperate. Look, if you're subpoenaed by
27:47
Speaker 1: your court, especially in your home country, and you don't
27:50
Speaker 1: show up, you're gonna be held in contempt. You're gonna
27:55
Speaker 1: be held They're gonna have all kinds of charges for you.
27:57
Speaker 1: Once again, these feudal lords that we call judges, they
28:00
Speaker 1: don't like to be screwed with. And you know, people
28:03
Speaker 1: talk about awe. If I'm scared of the cops, right man,
28:05
Speaker 1: I'm scared of judges. That's who I fear the most.
28:08
Speaker 1: And it's a shame because we shouldn't fear anybody as citizens, right,
28:11
Speaker 1: no federal government official. They work for us, but we
28:15
Speaker 1: have seemed to have forgotten that. So these judges, they
28:18
Speaker 1: hold great power over your life and over your well
28:22
Speaker 1: being even and if you find yourself in front of
28:25
Speaker 1: one of them, you better hope that they're having a
28:27
Speaker 1: good day. She added. You have to jump through some hoops,
28:32
Speaker 1: you have to submit some paperwork and affidavits and so forth,
28:35
Speaker 1: but eventually witnesses and people who were sued need to comply.
28:40
Speaker 1: It comes after a US judge slammed Prince Andrew's lawyer
28:43
Speaker 1: for wasting time after he argue that the case should
28:46
Speaker 1: be dismissed. Yeah, that's probably the result you're going to
28:51
Speaker 1: get if you show up into a judge's courtroom after
28:54
Speaker 1: you've been avoiding shit for so long and talk about, ah,
28:57
Speaker 1: well this should be a this should just be ejected
28:59
Speaker 1: out of the car. We shouldn't even try this case,
29:03
Speaker 1: Judge Kaplan sitting there like, bro, what are you talking about?
29:06
Speaker 1: I was supposed to be playing golf right now, and
29:08
Speaker 1: instead I'm sitting here dealing with your dumbass. Nah, no
29:12
Speaker 1: more technicalities, no more loopholes. Let's get the ball rolling.
29:18
Speaker 1: The Duke of York's hot shot Hollywood lawyer branded it
29:21
Speaker 1: baseless during a thirty minute telephone pre trial hearing on Monday.
29:25
Speaker 1: Funny that Andrew Bretler, by the way, worked for the
29:28
Speaker 1: Southern District of New York. Used to be one of
29:30
Speaker 1: the sdnycats, so he knows what's going on over there.
29:34
Speaker 1: And again, what do I always tell you guys, It's
29:36
Speaker 1: about the influence that you're paying for, not the courtroom behavior.
29:40
Speaker 1: It's only the old days. You know, you watch a
29:44
Speaker 1: movie where the lawyer shows up and he's battering people. Right, Well,
29:48
Speaker 1: my cousin Vinnie isn't showing up here, folks. A super lawyer,
29:55
Speaker 1: Andrew Bretler told the Federal Court in New York that
29:57
Speaker 1: it was non viable and potentially unlawful case. And this
30:02
Speaker 1: guy is a super lawyer, There's no doubt about that.
30:05
Speaker 1: He has all sorts of accolades and won all kinds
30:11
Speaker 1: of awards in Hollywood. You know, another one of these
30:14
Speaker 1: big deal hot shot lawyers that you or I would
30:17
Speaker 1: never be able to afford. A lawyer that would never ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever,
30:21
Speaker 1: ever ever ever take one of our cases pro bono.
30:25
Speaker 1: And you know the funny thing is, guess who he
30:28
Speaker 1: clerked for. Remember Richard Berman? Yeah, you remember Judge Berman, right,
30:33
Speaker 1: the Honorable Richard Jermy Berman of the U. S. District
30:37
Speaker 1: Court of the Southern District of New York. Yeah, well
30:40
Speaker 1: this lawyer, mister Brettler, he was his clerk. So again,
30:44
Speaker 1: you know the circle of buddies, they're all friends. They're
30:47
Speaker 1: all you know, hanging out with each other. They've all
30:50
Speaker 1: worked with each other before. The game's rigged, folks, And
30:54
Speaker 1: unless you pursue your case in a very passionate and
31:01
Speaker 1: aggressive manner, you'll be lucky to ever get some justice
31:04
Speaker 1: in this country. You know, these guys are all running
31:07
Speaker 1: around with each other at you know, the golf courses,
31:11
Speaker 1: and you know these parties they go to and all
31:14
Speaker 1: of that jazz. It's like wrestling, right, they act like
31:17
Speaker 1: they dislike each other, then behind the scenes they're all boys.
31:22
Speaker 1: He added he believed in two thousand and nine settlements
31:25
Speaker 1: signed by his accuser with pedophile Epstein released the Duke
31:29
Speaker 1: and others from any and all potential liability the judge said,
31:34
Speaker 1: you have a pretty high degree of certainty that he
31:37
Speaker 1: can be served sooner than later. Let's cut out all
31:40
Speaker 1: the technicalities and get to the substance. So basically the
31:44
Speaker 1: judge told them, right, Judge Kaplin is telling them, stop
31:46
Speaker 1: the bullshit, accept this served summons and bring your ass
31:51
Speaker 1: to court. Let's get kracking. Judge Lewis Kaplan ordered a
32:01
Speaker 1: week long delay on proceedings on Monday. So there's another
32:04
Speaker 1: little tidbit. We didn't have that tidbit yesterday in the
32:07
Speaker 1: article that we read. I don't believe. So we have
32:10
Speaker 1: a delay for one week and they're going to have
32:14
Speaker 1: to come correct in that week, meaning the team for
32:20
Speaker 1: Andrew is going to have to bring something to the table.
32:23
Speaker 1: Them showing up and saying, oh, this isn't legit is
32:26
Speaker 1: not going to work. It will allow Virginia Roberts lawyers
32:32
Speaker 1: to make any request to the court for help serving
32:35
Speaker 1: the lawsuit. However, ms Bloom suggested that the case is
32:39
Speaker 1: likely to go ahead despite the Prince's lawyer contesting the lawsuit.
32:43
Speaker 1: One he can contest it until the cows come home,
32:47
Speaker 1: but if the court feels that it's necessary and the
32:50
Speaker 1: court wants to proceed. That is exactly what's going to happen,
32:55
Speaker 1: mister Joe exotic of the Windsor family. No amount of
33:01
Speaker 1: rial blood is going to stop that trend from leaving
33:04
Speaker 1: the station. Mister Brettler last night said that Andrew was
33:10
Speaker 1: not properly served with the lawsuit, rendering it null and void.
33:14
Speaker 1: Miss Roberts lawyers insist the Royal has been served court
33:18
Speaker 1: papers in accordance with English and international law and according
33:25
Speaker 1: to the parameters, it would certainly seem as that would
33:28
Speaker 1: be the case right that the process server served this
33:32
Speaker 1: correctly and things should get moving in the right direction.
33:39
Speaker 1: They say. A copy of the summons was left with
33:41
Speaker 1: police at the gate of Windsor Royal Lodge on August
33:44
Speaker 1: twenty seventh. However, Andrew's teams say correct procedure wasn't followed,
33:49
Speaker 1: as the paper should be served through a British court official.
33:53
Speaker 1: And you see what they do here, right. They love
33:55
Speaker 1: to play this game of technicalities. And I know I
33:57
Speaker 1: talk about it a lot, but it's a big, big
34:00
Speaker 1: sticking point here, folks. When we're talking about these people
34:03
Speaker 1: and the behavior they're engaging in, the technicalities are the
34:09
Speaker 1: lifeblood of the ruling class. It is how they are
34:13
Speaker 1: able to move without ever being smacked in the ass
34:18
Speaker 1: when it comes to their crimes or their missteps or
34:21
Speaker 1: their financial mouthfeasance. Meanwhile, they continuously add laws for you
34:28
Speaker 1: and I and the Biden administrations taking it a step
34:31
Speaker 1: further even and becoming extremely, extremely oppressive when it comes
34:38
Speaker 1: to financials. I'm gonna talk a little bit more about
34:41
Speaker 1: that over on the other podcast, Beyond the Horizon. But
34:45
Speaker 1: it's terrifying. Honestly, it's terrifying. Manhattan Federal Court Judge Lewis
34:53
Speaker 1: Kaplan tonight gave Miss Robert's legal team another week to
34:57
Speaker 1: serve the Prince sixty one with the papers. Mister Roberts
35:00
Speaker 1: claim she was trafficked by Andrew's former friend and convicted
35:04
Speaker 1: sex offender Jeffrey Epstein to have sex with the Prince,
35:08
Speaker 1: so got this extra week. The judge is telling them,
35:12
Speaker 1: don't fuck around, is what he is. Basically what Captain
35:14
Speaker 1: told Andrews people one week, accept these fucking papers or
35:19
Speaker 1: there's going to be hell to pay, basically is what
35:21
Speaker 1: the judge is telling them. American prosecutors have alleged that
35:27
Speaker 1: the Prince has been unhelpful in their investigation into the
35:30
Speaker 1: Epstein case. The district's former US attorney, Jeffrey Berman, had
35:34
Speaker 1: declared in a statement that the royal provided zero cooperation
35:38
Speaker 1: and he hasn't provided any cooperation. Right, we don't need
35:42
Speaker 1: Berman to tell us that we know this dude hasn't
35:44
Speaker 1: provided any cooperation. We know old boy hasn't said a
35:47
Speaker 1: goddamn thing to the authorities, and we know he continues
35:50
Speaker 1: to run, duck and dodge like ripped tornas throwing wrenches
35:53
Speaker 1: at him. Don't you all find this absurd? You got
36:01
Speaker 1: I'm reading articles of people who got who are getting
36:03
Speaker 1: busted for unemployment fraud for two or three thousand dollars,
36:09
Speaker 1: And now you got people like Prince Andrews still skirting
36:11
Speaker 1: the law. You got the Core four not in prison,
36:14
Speaker 1: you got Indyke and Con running free. And that's just
36:17
Speaker 1: the beginnings of what's going on out there. Our justice
36:23
Speaker 1: system is absolutely fucked The priorities are fucked up. The
36:28
Speaker 1: way that they manage things are messed up, and the
36:31
Speaker 1: whole entire situation is nothing more than a dumpster fire.
36:39
Speaker 1: When you look at what's going on with this prosecution,
36:46
Speaker 1: it just makes me shake my head. When you compare
36:48
Speaker 1: it to Rainieri or r Kelly. Now, don't get me wrong,
36:56
Speaker 1: Maxwell looking at eighty years is certainly a good sign
36:59
Speaker 1: and a good thing. But if they would have just
37:03
Speaker 1: went the Rico route, all of this would have been
37:05
Speaker 1: avoided because Prince Andrew would have been under that umbrella
37:11
Speaker 1: of Rico, considering his ties to Jeffrey Epstein. But the
37:15
Speaker 1: real sticking point would be the money that was sent
37:19
Speaker 1: to Fergie that my friends would an envelope the both
37:25
Speaker 1: of them under a Rico umbrella, and things would be
37:32
Speaker 1: a lot hotter for the Prince. Instead, Virginia still has
37:40
Speaker 1: to jump through all of these hoops, has to jump
37:42
Speaker 1: through all of these pitfalls and avoid a game of
37:47
Speaker 1: technicalities and loopholes. Unfortunately for the Prince, though, it seems
37:55
Speaker 1: like the time for obfuscation and honoring himself health is
38:01
Speaker 1: quickly coming to an end. If you'd like to contact me,
38:05
Speaker 1: you can do that at Bobby Capucci at ProtonMail dot com.
38:08
Speaker 1: That's bo Bby cap you Cci at ProtonMail dot com.
38:14
Speaker 1: You can also find me on Twitter at Bobby Underscore
38:19
Speaker 1: cap you Cci. All of the links that go with
38:22
Speaker 1: this episode can be found in the description box. All right, folks.
38:27
Speaker 1: I'll be back later on and we'll pick up where
38:30
Speaker 1: we left off and welcome back to the Epstein chronicles.
38:36
Speaker 1: Earlier today, Judge Kaplin made a ruling and Prince Andrew
38:41
Speaker 1: is going to have to face these accusations brought against
38:45
Speaker 1: him by Virginia Roberts in a court of law. Now.
38:49
Speaker 1: He's been trying to get these dismissed for quite some time,
38:53
Speaker 1: and he has attempted to use loopholes and technicalities to
38:59
Speaker 1: get let it tossed. Thankfully, Judge Kaplan is not having it,
39:04
Speaker 1: and Prince Andrew is going to have to answer these
39:08
Speaker 1: accusations in a court of law. Now, of course, this
39:11
Speaker 1: is not a criminal case, right, So it's not like
39:14
Speaker 1: he's going to go to prison because of this. But
39:17
Speaker 1: at the very least he's being held responsible in some
39:22
Speaker 1: aspect of justice here, as opposed to him just sliding
39:28
Speaker 1: underneath the radar and never being held to account. At
39:33
Speaker 1: the very least, the spotlight's being put on him, and
39:36
Speaker 1: people who might not have been aware of what was
39:39
Speaker 1: going on are going to become aware of what's going
39:42
Speaker 1: on very quickly, just like with Epstein and then the
39:45
Speaker 1: Maxwell trial. How many folks out there had no idea
39:48
Speaker 1: what was really going on with these two. I'm guessing
39:52
Speaker 1: a lot of people, and I'm guessing a lot of
39:54
Speaker 1: people that found their way to this podcast. I've got
39:58
Speaker 1: a lot of emails from a lot of listeners who
40:01
Speaker 1: really had no idea the true scope of what was
40:04
Speaker 1: going on here. You know, they heard the rumors and
40:06
Speaker 1: the innuendo, and then of course some of the more
40:09
Speaker 1: batshit crazy conspiracy theory stuff, and you know, that drives
40:14
Speaker 1: people away. They're like, oh, the whole thing's a conspiracy theory.
40:17
Speaker 1: But then they start to get some real information about
40:21
Speaker 1: what went on here, information backed up with sources from
40:24
Speaker 1: the media such as I DO, or with court documentation
40:28
Speaker 1: or whatever, and people start to realize that this was
40:32
Speaker 1: never a conspiracy theory. This was a criminal conspiracy from
40:36
Speaker 1: the very beginning. And somebody like Prince Andrew, of his status,
40:42
Speaker 1: of his wealth, of his power, being involved with someone
40:46
Speaker 1: like Jeffrey Epstein and Glenn Maxwell. It would seem absurd
40:50
Speaker 1: to people who are not following something like this closely,
40:54
Speaker 1: but the reality of the situation is the reality of life.
40:59
Speaker 1: These all elites, it seems like all of them are
41:02
Speaker 1: wired incorrectly and that all of them are fed up.
41:06
Speaker 1: Once you get a certain amount of money, you automatically
41:09
Speaker 1: become some kind of robber baron, it would seem. Now,
41:13
Speaker 1: when I talk about the rich, I'm not talking about
41:16
Speaker 1: people that are making you know, a couple of million
41:18
Speaker 1: dollars or anything like that. I'm talking about generational wealth,
41:22
Speaker 1: the kind of wealth you see with these hedge fund
41:26
Speaker 1: type people, with the Maxwells of the world. Those are
41:30
Speaker 1: the uber elite, the super elite, not what I call
41:33
Speaker 1: the working rich. The working rich are the people who
41:36
Speaker 1: might have accumulated a few million dollars throughout their years
41:39
Speaker 1: of working, but they're not part of the party either,
41:42
Speaker 1: and they're not invited up to the top floor no
41:47
Speaker 1: more than you or I are welcome. So when I
41:51
Speaker 1: talk about the rich, I'm talking about, you know, the
41:53
Speaker 1: Trumpian class of rich, the billions when you have that
41:56
Speaker 1: be after your name, even the hundreds of millions, right,
41:59
Speaker 1: These people are they're all wired funny. And then they'll
42:03
Speaker 1: get up there and they'll talk about, Oh, I give
42:05
Speaker 1: to this charity or I give to that charity, and
42:08
Speaker 1: then you hear two weeks later that they were involved
42:11
Speaker 1: in a trafficking ring, or they were involved in Nexium
42:14
Speaker 1: or whatever it is, the truth of the matter is
42:20
Speaker 1: that these people, the so called elite, the robber barons,
42:22
Speaker 1: the people in the financial sector, they don't care about
42:26
Speaker 1: any of us. And if you think someone like Prince
42:29
Speaker 1: Andrew cares about, you know, the most vulnerable amongst us,
42:34
Speaker 1: or the poor or the downtrodden, he doesn't care. All
42:39
Speaker 1: he cares about is enriching himself, increasing his wealth and
42:43
Speaker 1: continuing to you know, climb that social ladder that all
42:47
Speaker 1: of them are trying to climb. And if anybody thought
42:52
Speaker 1: he was ever gonna take responsibility what he did here,
42:55
Speaker 1: I mean for what he did here of his own accord,
42:58
Speaker 1: you weren't paying attention. I saw someone post earlier on
43:02
Speaker 1: Twitter talking about how it's time for Prince Andrew to
43:06
Speaker 1: hire some lawyers that are going to try and ruin
43:08
Speaker 1: Virginia Roberts breaking news, dumbass, He's already done that. What
43:14
Speaker 1: do you think, Brettler is what do you think Marty
43:15
Speaker 1: Singer in the firm that they work at and that
43:18
Speaker 1: Marty Singer owns, does they specialize in this? I uploaded
43:25
Speaker 1: two episodes, one about both about Marty Singer excuse me
43:29
Speaker 1: and Prince Andrew Episode one and two. Episode one will
43:34
Speaker 1: be uploaded at eight thirty and then episode two will
43:40
Speaker 1: come after that. But it's a look back episode of
43:43
Speaker 1: when Prince Andrew first announced that he was hiring Bretler
43:47
Speaker 1: and what my response to it all was. I knew
43:49
Speaker 1: exactly what the strategy was going to be then, because
43:53
Speaker 1: that's the kind of lawyers that these dudes are. So
43:57
Speaker 1: there's so many people who have no idea about this
44:00
Speaker 1: case but who liked to interject themselves into it. It's
44:03
Speaker 1: so beyond odd to me, Like, if you don't know
44:07
Speaker 1: about something, why are you popping off about it? You know,
44:11
Speaker 1: one thing I've learned in my forty one years on
44:14
Speaker 1: this planet is that I don't know anything, barely know
44:18
Speaker 1: my name at half the time, never mind you know,
44:20
Speaker 1: thinking I know everything about everything. But Prince Andrew hiring
44:27
Speaker 1: these lawyers signaled right away what his strategy was going
44:30
Speaker 1: to be, and this ruling today from Judge Caplan is
44:35
Speaker 1: also signaling that this strategy might not be the best
44:38
Speaker 1: one for him and might not be the way to victory.
44:42
Speaker 1: In fact, honestly, I don't think there is a way
44:45
Speaker 1: to victory for this dude. I think that he's going
44:49
Speaker 1: to have to pay up civilly here, there's going to
44:53
Speaker 1: be a judgment against him one way or the other.
44:55
Speaker 1: If it ever comes down, if he ever at pays it,
44:58
Speaker 1: that's a whole other matter. But I think the judgment
45:01
Speaker 1: eventually is going to go against him, and as far
45:04
Speaker 1: as criminally speaking, I highly doubt it. But this is
45:10
Speaker 1: this signals bad news for his civil case here with
45:13
Speaker 1: Judge Kaplan already basically saying, look, this getting off on
45:18
Speaker 1: the technicality stuff isn't going to work. You're gonna have
45:21
Speaker 1: to prove it in the court of law and prove
45:23
Speaker 1: the merits of what you're saying here. So let's jump
45:27
Speaker 1: into this article from CNN and let's see what Eric
45:31
Speaker 1: Levinson and Lauren de Valley have to say. Headline. Judge
45:38
Speaker 1: rules sexual assault lawsuit against Prince Andrew can move ahead.
45:44
Speaker 1: A federal judge in New York on Wednesday denied a
45:47
Speaker 1: motion to dismiss laws a lawsuit against Prince Andrew filed
45:51
Speaker 1: by Virginia Roberts, who alleges she was sexually trafficked to
45:55
Speaker 1: the Royal when she was under age. Now, all of
45:58
Speaker 1: this alleges and this that the other thing. That's fine,
46:01
Speaker 1: and well, when we're talking about the situation with Andrew,
46:04
Speaker 1: nothing has been proved. It has been proved in court, right,
46:06
Speaker 1: so of course it's alleged. But when we talk about
46:10
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein, I don't know why they still say one
46:13
Speaker 1: of his accusers pretty obvious that Jeffrey Epstein did what
46:18
Speaker 1: these girls are saying to them, it's pretty obvious he
46:20
Speaker 1: did it, or the estate wouldn't pay out all that money,
46:24
Speaker 1: he wouldn't have gotten arrested the second time. Maxwell wouldn't
46:27
Speaker 1: be indicted. You pick up what I'm putting down here, folks.
46:30
Speaker 1: So there's no alleged when it comes to Jeffrey Epstein.
46:33
Speaker 1: Come on, that's ridiculous. Miss Roberts's complaint is neither unintelligible,
46:39
Speaker 1: nor vague nor ambiguous, Judge Lewis Caplan wrote in the ruling.
46:43
Speaker 1: It alleges discrete incidents of sexual abuse in particular circumstances
46:48
Speaker 1: at three identified and identifiable locations. It identifies to whom
46:53
Speaker 1: it attributes that sexual abuse. So basically, Caplan is saying
46:57
Speaker 1: there's grounds here. There is. She is saying that the
47:01
Speaker 1: exact spots where it took place. She's saying that the
47:06
Speaker 1: locations are identifiable, and she's identifying whom it happened with.
47:12
Speaker 1: So I don't know how anyone who's looking at this
47:15
Speaker 1: from a non biased view like a judge should be
47:19
Speaker 1: could say, Ah, yeah, I'm gonna dismiss this. There's nothing there.
47:23
Speaker 1: And the fact that Andrew's two thousand dollars an hour
47:26
Speaker 1: lawyers thought that this strategy was gonna work is it's
47:30
Speaker 1: just crazy to me. It is just crazy to me
47:33
Speaker 1: that they can't read the temperature of the room at
47:35
Speaker 1: this point. Still Roberts alleged in the lawsuit that the
47:40
Speaker 1: late financier, the late financier, that's what they're still calling
47:44
Speaker 1: this guy, the late financier. But if it was one
47:46
Speaker 1: of their political opponents, they'd be calling him, you know,
47:51
Speaker 1: Himmler or some other crazy insert name here. You see
47:55
Speaker 1: what they do, folks. They pick and choose what they
47:57
Speaker 1: want to pour down your throat, and they act like
48:01
Speaker 1: attacking their political opponents is more important than you know,
48:05
Speaker 1: naming Jeffrey Epstein for what he is, the late financier.
48:08
Speaker 1: What are you going to offend Jeffrey Epstein? What's he
48:11
Speaker 1: going to come back from the dead? And sue you.
48:13
Speaker 1: Let's just call the guy what he is, okay, A pedophile,
48:16
Speaker 1: a human trafficker, a piece of trash. You know, all
48:19
Speaker 1: of that works. Trafficker enforced her to have sex with
48:23
Speaker 1: his friends, including the Prince, and that Andrew was aware
48:27
Speaker 1: she was under age seventeen in the US at the time.
48:30
Speaker 1: She alleges the Prince sexually abused her at Epstein's private
48:34
Speaker 1: island in the US Virgin Islands, at his mansion in Manhattan,
48:37
Speaker 1: and at his former girlfriend, co conspirator, fellow human trafficker
48:42
Speaker 1: General all around scuzbag and bipudal serpent, Glene Maxwell's home
48:47
Speaker 1: in London. Prince Andrew has denied the allegations and had
48:54
Speaker 1: moved to dismiss the suit. CNN has reached out to
48:57
Speaker 1: his attorneys for further comment. You know, they're not gonna come.
49:00
Speaker 1: They have nothing to say. They don't want to say
49:02
Speaker 1: anything because they know the deal. What can they possibly
49:05
Speaker 1: say at this point that is going to help their cause.
49:09
Speaker 1: Everything they say they've said in the courtroom already, and
49:12
Speaker 1: it's not good. They're They're not out here to try
49:17
Speaker 1: and win the pr battle anymore. It's a hatchet job.
49:20
Speaker 1: That's why Brettler was hired. The ruling sets up a
49:24
Speaker 1: dramatic series of legal proceedings for Queen Elizabeth the Second's
49:27
Speaker 1: third child that could have major ramifications for Buckingham Palace.
49:32
Speaker 1: The long running allegations against Andrew sixty one have already
49:36
Speaker 1: dramatically tarnished his public standing. And he stepped back from
49:40
Speaker 1: royal duties in late twenty nineteen, or did he? They
49:45
Speaker 1: gave that perception, But it sure seems to me like
49:47
Speaker 1: he was still, you know, hanging out around Balmoral, hanging
49:52
Speaker 1: out with mom. What did he really have taken from him?
49:55
Speaker 1: Some of those patronages still can come up with enough
49:59
Speaker 1: money to to spend two grand an hour for lawyers, right,
50:02
Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I know, I know. Mom's not paying for that,
50:06
Speaker 1: right stop it. You know that the Queen is paying
50:08
Speaker 1: for his legal fees one way or the other. And
50:11
Speaker 1: you know that if there was a settlement here, she'd
50:13
Speaker 1: be paying for that as well. Andrew has until July
50:17
Speaker 1: fourteenth to potentially answer questions about the case under oath,
50:21
Speaker 1: following a ruling made by Kaplan last year. If the
50:24
Speaker 1: case is not settled, Prince Andrew could face a trial
50:27
Speaker 1: date between September and December of twenty twenty two, so
50:33
Speaker 1: obviously not anytime soon soon, but it is on the horizon,
50:37
Speaker 1: and you know it's going to be keeping Uncle Touchy
50:40
Speaker 1: up at night sweating. Even though he says he can't.
50:43
Speaker 1: This guy is really dug himself a hole, hasn't he
50:47
Speaker 1: Going on to that Emily Maitliss interview was one of
50:51
Speaker 1: the worst decisions of this man's life. Well besides you know,
50:54
Speaker 1: hanging out with Epstein and abusing traffic girls, but going
50:58
Speaker 1: on to Emily may List of the show just made
51:01
Speaker 1: it so much worse for him because he can't even
51:04
Speaker 1: fall back on the I don't knows anymore or anything
51:07
Speaker 1: like that, because he was completely exposed in that interview,
51:10
Speaker 1: and anyone who watches it can tell the dude's lion.
51:13
Speaker 1: It's not like he's up there being truthful with anybody
51:16
Speaker 1: providing receipts pointing to this or that to say, hey,
51:20
Speaker 1: look I'm innocent. You can talk to so and so.
51:23
Speaker 1: Has he ever done any of that? And you would
51:25
Speaker 1: think that if Buckingham Palace had evidence that would help
51:28
Speaker 1: exonerate him, they would bring it forward. I'm guessing none
51:32
Speaker 1: of that exists because when he was going to hang
51:34
Speaker 1: out with Epstein. I'm sure it was a wink, wink, nudge,
51:37
Speaker 1: nudge to whatever the security detail is to. You know,
51:40
Speaker 1: how about we keep this one off the books. Boys,
51:42
Speaker 1: let's keep this one off the record. Now. Do I
51:44
Speaker 1: have evidence of that? No? But you don't think that happens.
51:48
Speaker 1: You don't think these guys are buddy buddy with the Prince.
51:51
Speaker 1: You don't think his security detail wants to be boys
51:53
Speaker 1: with the Prince. Of course they do. Buckingham Palace declined,
52:00
Speaker 1: saying we would not comment on what is an ongoing
52:03
Speaker 1: legal matter, and that's been their approach pretty much throughout
52:06
Speaker 1: this whole thing, to not comment. But you would think
52:09
Speaker 1: that they'd come out and they'd show empathy towards the survivors.
52:13
Speaker 1: But they don't really care about that. It's all about
52:15
Speaker 1: protecting the firm, making sure the monarchy is protected, making
52:19
Speaker 1: sure the queen isn't tarnished. Who cares about the girls
52:23
Speaker 1: that were abused by Jeffrey Epstein's BFFs, I mean by
52:26
Speaker 1: Prince Andrew's BFFs. I mean it's absurd, right, You would
52:31
Speaker 1: think that the monarchy, the queen, they'd be coming forward
52:34
Speaker 1: and they'd be saying, look, we have a lot of
52:36
Speaker 1: empathy for what happened to these girls. We're gonna let
52:38
Speaker 1: this legal process play out, and you know, we want
52:42
Speaker 1: everyone to understand that you know something, but no, it's oh,
52:46
Speaker 1: we have no idea, no comment. It's crazy. You people
52:50
Speaker 1: represent England and that's the best you can do. Huh.
52:55
Speaker 1: Robert's attorney, Sigurd McCauley said the judge's ruling is another
52:58
Speaker 1: important step in vers r Ginia's heroic and determined pursuit
53:02
Speaker 1: of justice as a survivor of sex trafficking. The civil
53:05
Speaker 1: suit stems from the sprawling and disturbing allegations against Epstein,
53:09
Speaker 1: the wealthy sex offender pedophile who befriended a series of
53:13
Speaker 1: powerful men despite a sketchy history, a group of powerful
53:17
Speaker 1: women as well. Let's not forget all of those powerful
53:20
Speaker 1: women that were around Jeffrey Epstein as well. Remember, folks,
53:25
Speaker 1: these everyone's a gray character, men and women alike, and
53:29
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein sure had his collection of both. Dittey. Epstein
53:34
Speaker 1: pleaded guilty in two thousand and eight the state prostitution
53:37
Speaker 1: charges and July nineteenth and July twenty nineteen was indicted
53:42
Speaker 1: on federal sex trafficking charges. Prosecutors accused him of carrying
53:46
Speaker 1: out a decades long scheme of sexual abuse of underage girls,
53:50
Speaker 1: flying them on private planes to his properties in Florida,
53:53
Speaker 1: New York, New Mexico, and the US Virgin Islands. He
53:57
Speaker 1: died by suicide, allegedly in prison before he could face trial.
54:02
Speaker 1: And it wasn't just him obviously, right, How about those
54:04
Speaker 1: pilots that were flying all those girls around? They just
54:07
Speaker 1: get carte blanche, They just get off because they go
54:09
Speaker 1: and give a few words at the trial. I want
54:12
Speaker 1: did they get an agreement? What kind of agreement did
54:14
Speaker 1: they get? Did they get clemency, did they get immunity
54:17
Speaker 1: for their testimony? Or did they just do it out
54:19
Speaker 1: of the kindness of their souls? Where were they after
54:22
Speaker 1: the first arrest? So what about all of the other
54:25
Speaker 1: people that were involved? Here? You know, you have sex
54:28
Speaker 1: trafficking and Epstein wasn't flying the plane, right, So everybody
54:33
Speaker 1: who was involved needs to be caught up in this net. Maxwell,
54:38
Speaker 1: his former girlfriend, a co conspirator, general all around scusbag
54:42
Speaker 1: and human trafficker, was arrested in twenty twenty and accused
54:46
Speaker 1: of facilitating the abuse scheme. A federal jury convicted her
54:50
Speaker 1: in December on five federal accounts, including sex, trafficking a
54:54
Speaker 1: minor and conspiracy. Roberts was not one of the four
54:58
Speaker 1: women who testified Maxwell's true that they had been abused. Still,
55:03
Speaker 1: she was mentioned in the trial when Carolyn, one of
55:05
Speaker 1: the survivors, testified that Roberts had recruited her to come
55:09
Speaker 1: to Epstein's home in Palm Beach, Florida. So again, I
55:14
Speaker 1: don't know how Virginia wasn't called at this trial. I
55:17
Speaker 1: don't know how some of the other survivors weren't called
55:19
Speaker 1: at this trial. But hopefully at the sentencing portion they
55:23
Speaker 1: will be called for those witness impact statements. Catherlin's ruling
55:31
Speaker 1: wednesday allowed the lawsuit to continue, but he did not
55:34
Speaker 1: determine the facts or validity of the case. So he's
55:37
Speaker 1: letting it continue, meaning he wants to see more. He
55:40
Speaker 1: didn't determine one way or the other what's true or
55:43
Speaker 1: what's not true yet, but there is enough there for
55:47
Speaker 1: him to want to see more and to get this
55:49
Speaker 1: ball rolling. The Prince's attorneys that argued that Robert's lawsuit
55:54
Speaker 1: violated the terms of her two thousand and nine settlement
55:57
Speaker 1: agreement with Epstein in Florida, in which she agreed to
56:00
Speaker 1: a general release of claims against Epstein and others. That settlement,
56:04
Speaker 1: which was released to the public last week, shows that
56:07
Speaker 1: Epstein paid Roberts five hundred thousand dollars to drop the
56:10
Speaker 1: case without any admission of liability or fall. The Prince's
56:15
Speaker 1: name does not explicitly appear as a party, so again
56:18
Speaker 1: very vague. It goes against everything that Andrew was saying previously,
56:25
Speaker 1: so I'm glad that Kaplan recognized it as the bs
56:27
Speaker 1: that it is. However, Robert's attorney, David Boyce, argued the
56:32
Speaker 1: settlement is irrelevant to her claims against the Prince, noting
56:36
Speaker 1: Andrew did not know about it at the time and
56:39
Speaker 1: it didn't apply to him. In the ruling, Kaplan wrote
56:42
Speaker 1: that both sides put forward the reasonable interpretations of the
56:45
Speaker 1: settlement's meaning. So what that means is he wants to
56:48
Speaker 1: see more. He wants both sides to argue in front
56:51
Speaker 1: of him their case so he can get to the
56:53
Speaker 1: bottom of it. That's basically what Judge Kaplan is saying here.
56:58
Speaker 1: The agreement therefore is ambiguous. Accordingly, the determination of the
57:03
Speaker 1: meaning of the release language in the two thousand and
57:05
Speaker 1: nine agreement must have waited further proceedings, he wrote. Roberts
57:09
Speaker 1: brought her case under the Child Victims Act, a New
57:12
Speaker 1: York state law enacted in twenty nineteen that temporarily expanded
57:16
Speaker 1: the statute of limitations in child's sex abuse cases to
57:20
Speaker 1: give survivors more opportunities to seek justice. Prince Andrew's attorneys
57:25
Speaker 1: argued that the law is unconstitutional, but the judge rejected
57:29
Speaker 1: the argument, citing another judge's analysis that this line of
57:33
Speaker 1: argument was creative but without merit. So again loopholes and technicalities.
57:39
Speaker 1: Oh the law is wrong. Oh, the law is unconstitutional.
57:43
Speaker 1: Not that I'm going to defend myself with evidence at trial.
57:46
Speaker 1: None of that what Roberts alleges in claims made prior
57:52
Speaker 1: to filing her lawsuit. Robert's alleged that in two thousand
57:55
Speaker 1: and one, Epstein brought her to London, where she was
57:59
Speaker 1: introduced to Prince Andrew and went dancing at a nightclub
58:02
Speaker 1: with Epstein, Maxwell and the Prince. In a BBC interview
58:06
Speaker 1: broadcast in twenty and nineteen, Robert said she had been
58:09
Speaker 1: taken to the Tramp nightclub, where Robert's alleged Andrew asked
58:14
Speaker 1: her to dance and was sweating all over me. And
58:16
Speaker 1: now you know, Andrew says he can't sweat. He you know,
58:20
Speaker 1: he's not a sweater. He has a condition that makes
58:23
Speaker 1: it so he can't sweat. Who's ever heard of something
58:26
Speaker 1: so absurd. I know there's cases out there, right, but
58:29
Speaker 1: all of a sudden, Andrew's one of these people as well. Right,
58:32
Speaker 1: he hits the lottery for genetics as far as being
58:35
Speaker 1: born or royal, and he just happens to have this
58:38
Speaker 1: condition too. Huh, the only one in the family with it.
58:44
Speaker 1: After Andrew has denied the claims, telling the BBC in
58:47
Speaker 1: twenty and nineteen it didn't happen. I can absolutely categorically
58:51
Speaker 1: tell you it never happened. I have no recollection of
58:54
Speaker 1: ever meeting this lady, none whatsoever. Yes, see how the
58:58
Speaker 1: story has changed. Huh. Now it's wait, it's unconstitutional. Wait
59:02
Speaker 1: wait a minute, Hold on a minute. I had no
59:04
Speaker 1: idea here. I'm protected. Oh, it's not that I don't
59:07
Speaker 1: know her. Because now at the trial, when he goes
59:10
Speaker 1: under oath, is he going to say the same thing
59:15
Speaker 1: he claimed in that same interview that he could not
59:17
Speaker 1: sweat due to a rare medical condition, and that on
59:20
Speaker 1: the night he is alleged to have had sex assaulted.
59:23
Speaker 1: You mean with Roberts, he was in fact taking his
59:26
Speaker 1: daughter to a party at a pizza express restaurant and Woking,
59:30
Speaker 1: southwest of London. Imagine all of these scumbags using their
59:34
Speaker 1: kids and their families as some kind of alibi or
59:37
Speaker 1: a crutch. Oh, I was taking my daughter to get pizza.
59:40
Speaker 1: Meanwhile he's out molesting people and abusing people, absolutely disgusting.
59:47
Speaker 1: Robert's lawyers asked Andrew in court filings to provide documents
59:51
Speaker 1: proving both of those claims. Andrew's team responded that he
59:55
Speaker 1: was unable to do so because he has no documents
59:58
Speaker 1: proving a medical condition that prevents sweating and cannot identify
1:00:02
Speaker 1: anyone he encountered at the pizza restaurant. Now remember he's
1:00:06
Speaker 1: super famous, right If you were at the pizza restaurant
1:00:08
Speaker 1: that night, you would remember, if you know, the Queen's
1:00:12
Speaker 1: Sun was there. It would be like us going to
1:00:14
Speaker 1: a pizza shop, I don't know, a pizza hut and
1:00:17
Speaker 1: the Obamas are hanging out. You're gonna remember that. You
1:00:20
Speaker 1: mean to tell me not one person remembers you at
1:00:22
Speaker 1: this party. You can't get one person to corroborate your story.
1:00:25
Speaker 1: Huh oh yeah, we should all just believe you though.
1:00:28
Speaker 1: There should never be a trial here. You should never
1:00:31
Speaker 1: be deposed, not you, Prince Andrew, give me a break already,
1:00:36
Speaker 1: And thankfully, finally, after all this time, that's gonna change.
1:00:42
Speaker 1: And it looks like this dude's going to have to
1:00:44
Speaker 1: sit down under oath and answer questions. And we all
1:00:49
Speaker 1: know how well Andrew does when he's being interviewed. All right, folks,
1:00:55
Speaker 1: that's gonna do it for tonight. Tomorrow morning, we'll be
1:00:58
Speaker 1: back with a little bit more obvious. We'll catch up
1:01:01
Speaker 1: on the Glenn Maxwell situation, and obviously tonight you can
1:01:05
Speaker 1: also expect more context episodes to see you through. If
