- 0:16Speaker 2: This one today I want to share with you is
- 0:21Speaker 2: for all of us, and here it is. There is
- 0:26Speaker 2: a solution to all of your problems in situations. If
- 0:34Speaker 2: you don't know what your next move is, that's a go.
- 0:38Speaker 2: I don't care what it is. If the relationship you're
- 0:42Speaker 2: in is all wrong and you don't know how to
- 0:46Speaker 2: get out of it, it doesn't matter. There is a
- 0:49Speaker 2: solution to all your problems and situations. That solution to
- 0:56Speaker 2: all your problems, that way to make all your dreams
- 0:59Speaker 2: come true.
- 1:01Speaker 1: The way around a lot of this and.
- 1:05Speaker 2: The weakness that you feel at times is prayer, prayer,
- 1:10Speaker 2: a connection with your creator. Could that be the thing
- 1:15Speaker 2: that's missing in your life. I'm just asking because whenever
- 1:20Speaker 2: I get a little bit off track, all I gotta
- 1:24Speaker 2: do is think, just a moment, Steve, have you been praying?
- 1:30Speaker 1: Man?
- 1:30Speaker 2: Have you been connecting with your creator? I know you're busy, man,
- 1:35Speaker 2: I know you're busy, and I know at the end
- 1:37Speaker 2: of the day you're done. You're done, and sometimes crawling
- 1:41Speaker 2: into bed is all you can manage to do.
- 1:44Speaker 1: I've said this, It happened to me last night. Again.
- 1:49Speaker 1: I did all of this. But when I look and
- 1:52Speaker 1: when I.
- 1:52Speaker 2: See things not moving, or I don't feel like things
- 1:57Speaker 2: are going in the right direction, or I have a
- 1:59Speaker 2: sense of being stagnant, all I got to do is
- 2:02Speaker 2: retrace it. Because I'm working. There's no doubt about that.
- 2:06Speaker 2: I'm working. But I am I staying connected? Am I
- 2:11Speaker 2: using that weapon that's available to all of us?
- 2:14Speaker 1: And I pray? And the answer is usually no?
- 2:18Speaker 2: And so I know, Okay, okay, man, I'm getting off
- 2:20Speaker 2: track here, because see, let me tell you something, man.
- 2:23Speaker 2: The reason I constantly talk to God is because life
- 2:29Speaker 2: constantly changes. People who said they was going to do
- 2:33Speaker 2: something for you one day have changed their mind the next.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Somebody you thought was going to show up that day
- 2:40Speaker 2: called in late, had an accident and couldn't make it.
- 2:44Speaker 1: That changes the parameters of everything.
- 2:47Speaker 2: The meeting you had set up that had to be
- 2:49Speaker 2: counseled because somebody was ill. That changes the parameters the
- 2:54Speaker 2: time frame of everything. Because it's all connected. So if
- 2:59Speaker 2: I don't stay in constant prayer and stay connected to
- 3:02Speaker 2: the creative, when this thing's happen. I'm not put in
- 3:06Speaker 2: my bed, I've not talked to him about how to
- 3:09Speaker 2: handle it, or I'm just not aware of it and
- 3:12Speaker 2: what to do next. And the next thing you know,
- 3:14Speaker 2: it becomes a little stagnant. That has happened to me.
- 3:17Speaker 2: I gotta get back because prayer is the solution to
- 3:22Speaker 2: all of my problems and situations. I have found that
- 3:26Speaker 2: to be the case now. The only reason I'm telling
- 3:29Speaker 2: it to you is because I know if you anything
- 3:32Speaker 2: like me slash human being, then there are times that
- 3:36Speaker 2: you feel anxious. There's moments of desperation. You have moments
- 3:41Speaker 2: of uncertainty. There are times when you feel like you've
- 3:45Speaker 2: lost your way you or your purpose is a little blurred.
- 3:50Speaker 2: You're not sure anymore, or you don't know what your
- 3:54Speaker 2: next move is, or the relationship you in or the
- 3:56Speaker 2: relationships you dabbling in.
- 3:59Speaker 1: They're just all wrong for you.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Man, there is a solution to all your problems and
- 4:06Speaker 2: situations and his prayer. If you're suffering from any of
- 4:11Speaker 2: the things I just listed, or any other thing you
- 4:13Speaker 2: could think of, just check your prayer. What has your
- 4:16Speaker 2: prayer been lately about it? And this is for everybody.
- 4:22Speaker 2: I often find when I get that disconnection, Man, my
- 4:27Speaker 2: prayer and slipped off. I started feeling a little bit less,
- 4:31Speaker 2: so I got to jump back on it. I'm just
- 4:33Speaker 2: offering you a solution to it, man, and and and
- 4:36Speaker 2: and I'm giving you a solution that works one thousand percent.
- 4:40Speaker 1: Fust show. See, I ain't guessing at this one.
- 4:44Speaker 2: I'm telling you what has happened in my life, how
- 4:47Speaker 2: I did it, and it'll do for you. God is
- 4:51Speaker 2: filled with mercy and grace. He knows we all messed up.
- 4:55Speaker 2: He knows all of us have done some jacked up
- 4:57Speaker 2: things that don't nobody know about.
- 5:00Speaker 1: He know all about our past. Man, he know all
- 5:03Speaker 1: of that. But he is so.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Full of grace and mercy, so full of fifty fifty chances.
- 5:10Speaker 2: But you know the thing about your life though, and
- 5:13Speaker 2: the thing I had to come to terms with, and
- 5:16Speaker 2: the reason I don't let out of the reason I
- 5:18Speaker 2: don't let my past bury me, the reason I don't
- 5:21Speaker 2: let my past define me is because my past I
- 5:26Speaker 2: found out, or just the ingredients needed for me to
- 5:34Speaker 2: make this cake I'm eating now. My past is just
- 5:39Speaker 2: my ingredients. See, you don't get rid of your past.
- 5:44Speaker 2: They ain't they ain't gone nowhere. They are the ingredients,
- 5:47Speaker 2: but when you put them with something else, they look better,
- 5:50Speaker 2: they taste better, It is better. All of our pasts
- 5:55Speaker 2: are just the ingredients that have become the cake we eating. Now,
- 6:00Speaker 2: you don't like the way your cake taste, then you
- 6:02Speaker 2: gotta start putting some other ingredients in there. Just because
- 6:05Speaker 2: you started off and your cake was messed up, don't
- 6:08Speaker 2: mean you can't straighten out the flavor your cake. You
- 6:11Speaker 2: gotta put some different ingredients in there. So let's say
- 6:16Speaker 2: your cake is trifling tasted, it's bitter. Your cake is bitter, Well,
- 6:20Speaker 2: you got to dilute the bitterness. You gotta put some
- 6:23Speaker 2: more goodness in there. So you gotta put some goodness
- 6:26Speaker 2: ingredients to take away the taste of the bitterness. So
- 6:32Speaker 2: you gotta put some different ingredients in there. You gotta
- 6:35Speaker 2: start living your life a little more kindly, a little
- 6:37Speaker 2: more thoughtful, a little more sharing, a little more caring.
- 6:41Speaker 1: And then after a.
- 6:41Speaker 2: While, man those new ingredients combined with that bitter it
- 6:46Speaker 2: starts overshadowing the bitter taste because the bitter taste is
- 6:49Speaker 2: further behind you. Now see something that happened to you
- 6:53Speaker 2: twelve fifteen thirty twenty five, sixteen years ago. Ain't got
- 6:58Speaker 2: to be the flavor that's in your mouth unless you
- 7:00Speaker 2: let it be. It's the ingredients, man. If you sink
- 7:06Speaker 2: it away your cake taste and change your ingredients, put
- 7:10Speaker 2: something else in your cake mix so you can get
- 7:13Speaker 2: a better taste.
- 7:16Speaker 1: If you don't like the way your life tastes. Pray.
- 7:20Speaker 2: I've been here my mama saying for years, boy, prayer
- 7:23Speaker 2: change his things, don't My mama said to me all
- 7:26Speaker 2: the time. I said to my TV artist, is when
- 7:28Speaker 2: they come see me on the talk show, before I
- 7:31Speaker 2: walk on stage, I tell them these words, my mother said.
- 7:34Speaker 2: I said, my mother used to always tell me this,
- 7:36Speaker 2: and it's bailed me out, and it might do the
- 7:38Speaker 2: same thing for you.
- 7:41Speaker 1: I said. Whatever I get in trouble, I hear her words.
- 7:44Speaker 2: She says, son, don't forget to pray, don't be ashamed
- 7:48Speaker 2: to pray, and don't be too proud to pray, because prayer,
- 7:53Speaker 2: prayer change is things and you better believe something it
- 7:58Speaker 2: one hundred percent show.
