Latest / Kenny Wallace Media / Brad Keselowski Breaks His Leg Skiing: Should Drivers Be More Careful? | Coffee With Kenny
Transcript
- 0:00It's Saturday, everybody. I tell you, I'm still numb over
- 0:06the whole Greg Biffle plane wreck.
- 0:09So it's not a happy Saturday. It's just Saturday.
- 0:15I wasn't even going to do a coffee with Kenny because I I'm
- 0:18kind of feeling a little numb and not knowing how to be quite
- 0:24real happy yet. I think everybody in the racing
- 0:28industry kind of feels like that.
- 0:32So deep breath, going to try to move on.
- 0:40And so here we go. OK, All right, shake it off.
- 0:45Shake it off. All right, everybody look at
- 0:53Louie. Louie, what are you doing,
- 0:55buddy? What are you doing, huh?
- 1:01All right, Louis, the legend on the corner of the couch.
- 1:04He usually over this way a little bit.
- 1:08OK, couple subject matters today, man, Old man.
- 1:13How about Brad Keselowski breaking his leg?
- 1:17I mean, Full Break says he's going to work hard and he'll be
- 1:21back and ready to go for the Daytona 500.
- 1:26Now, I tell you, I know what I'm going to say is strange because
- 1:31it feels, it feels strange saying it.
- 1:33But I've never seen anybody not celebrate a broken leg.
- 1:39But Brad Kozlowski breaks his leg in a skiing accident.
- 1:46But they're smiling. They're celebrating.
- 1:50And I understand that Brad's probably looking at like, hey, I
- 1:55still have my life. And on one of his posts, it it
- 2:00made sense to me. You know, he said, listen, I
- 2:03broke my leg during the complete, you know, Greg Biffle
- 2:11plane tragedy. And I'm sure that I'm sure that
- 2:16Brad, Brad thought, well, I, I broke my leg, but I still have
- 2:20my life. And there's a wonderful picture
- 2:23out there of Brad Keselowski in the hospital, laid up in the
- 2:27bed. I mean, major surgery, you know,
- 2:30it's a big deal. Brad Kozlaski, I mean, flat
- 2:33broke his bone in half. God, it hurts just saying it.
- 2:38So all his, all Brad Kozlowski's kids and wife are there and
- 2:44they're just smiling. And now I get it because Brad
- 2:51still has his life. You know, there's an old saying,
- 2:56sticks and stones will break my bones, but words will never hurt
- 2:59me. I'm sure that Brad's looking at
- 3:03this broken leg is just a mere obstacle.
- 3:07So I want to share my thoughts on that, that, you know, there's
- 3:11a wonderful picture out there of Brad laid up in that hospital
- 3:14and just smiling. And not now, when you look at it
- 3:18that way, he still has his life and he can heal up and he'll be
- 3:23at Daytona. OK, same subject, but we brought
- 3:32this subject matter up before. Brad Kozlowski, skiing,
- 3:36accident, breaks his leg. Chase Elliott, skiing accident,
- 3:41breaks his leg Alex Bowman gets in the Sprint car, flips, breaks
- 3:47his back. He broke something Alex Bowman
- 3:51did a couple years ago. These, these things start adding
- 3:56up and you'll, you'll wonder, you know, these athletes that,
- 4:04that run these NASCAR race cars knocking down, you know, we
- 4:08just, we just found out that Denny Hamlin made 14,000,000 a
- 4:13year. And there's crew members
- 4:15depending on you. So I'm not going to say, do you
- 4:19stop skiing? Do you stop doing extra
- 4:23activities? What I am going to say is do you
- 4:25try really hard to limit your dangerous activities when you
- 4:31are a NASCAR Cup driver and you got hundreds of employees
- 4:36depending on you? I think you got to live your
- 4:42life. I think you got to live your
- 4:45life. I don't know if you can put
- 4:47bubble wrap around your body and promised everybody that you
- 4:51won't do anything. But I will say that when you're
- 4:56Brad Keselowski and you you, you are these great drivers like a
- 5:01Chase Elliott and Alex Bowman and a full Cup team.
- 5:05You know, a lot of these Cup teams got 50 employees.
- 5:08That's fifty families. See, when I look at 50
- 5:11employees, when I look at 50 men or ladies on these Cup teams, I
- 5:16don't look at 50 people. I think you go like 150 because
- 5:21you got the employee, you got the wife.
- 5:24Most likely the employee is supporting the wife and the
- 5:27children. Now I know it takes 2 to run a
- 5:30family now, but the man is 8 times out of 10 going to be the
- 5:36red winner. There's a rare circumstances
- 5:39where the wife makes more than the man.
- 5:44But when I see these race teams run, I see there's all, you
- 5:48know, a lot of people that are being paid and they're they're
- 5:52they're counting on Chase Elliot.
- 5:54And then he broke that leg there a couple years ago.
- 5:56Then you're looking at Brad Kozlowski.
- 5:58Well, if you're ever going to break your leg, now is the time
- 6:01to do it so you can heal up and be ready for the Daytona 500.
- 6:05So respond right here. The question is this, Brad
- 6:09Kozlowski broke his leg. Should he have been more careful
- 6:14since he's the leader of the pack?
- 6:17All right, respond right here. Next subject matter.
- 6:28This is something that I didn't see coming, but I was talking to
- 6:32my dear friend Gary St. Sin last night.
- 6:36Hey, Gary. Gary's a sponsor of mine.
- 6:39Low voltage solution. Gary goes into all these
- 6:44buildings and I'm just going to say, does the wiring for all the
- 6:49new up to date electronics that's going on in the world.
- 6:55So with that being said, you know, throughout life you have
- 6:59these new things that happens that boosts the economy.
- 7:04So example, when the computers came, man, oh man, trillions of
- 7:08dollars. It's like, Oh my God, our
- 7:10economy is booming all around the world because now we're
- 7:13making computers, you know that then the then the cell phone
- 7:18comes like there's another boom. So in other words, sometimes in
- 7:21life, there's a product that comes along that creates
- 7:26business and creates employees and creates an economic boom.
- 7:33So now here we are with AI, artificial intelligence,
- 7:39ChatGPT. Now this ChatGPT, I got a story
- 7:46about that. It's funny.
- 7:47But anyway, this new economic boom, how how does how does
- 7:52artificial intelligence and ChatGPT, how does that create a
- 7:55new economic boom? How does that create business?
- 7:58Well, the way it creates business is these are
- 8:01supercomputers and they'll be like 18 of these buildings
- 8:10around Saint Louis or Illinois or throughout all of America and
- 8:14now the world. So they're creating these big
- 8:16buildings they're calling tech centers where they hook up all
- 8:20these computers and ChatGPT and artificial intelligence it take,
- 8:25they take supercomputers because they're digesting so much
- 8:28information. So you go to Google or you go to
- 8:32ChatGPT, you ask it a question and it answers you.
- 8:39Well, it goes through all these supercomputers that need to be
- 8:42cooled down. It takes a lot of lot of water,
- 8:46takes a lot of electricity to cool these things down.
- 8:50So now we got this new economic boom where all these buildings
- 8:53are being created and the employees are in there.
- 8:56They got to run and work over these computers.
- 9:02So respond right here. What you think about that?
- 9:04But I got to tell you this when I'm on social media or I see
- 9:11somebody write a letter and I'm like, Jesus, look at the
- 9:15verbiage. You can tell when somebody wrote
- 9:19a bullshit letter from ChatGPT. Sometimes I'll read a letter and
- 9:26all the dots are in the right, right places and the commas are
- 9:28in the right place. I'm like this somebody ain't
- 9:30that smart, but he knows how to ask ChatGPT.
- 9:35So, so you can't bullshit the old man here, but it but it is
- 9:40exciting, right? You'll ask ChatGPT.
- 9:43You'll say I'm a race car driver in Arnold, MO, looking for a
- 9:48sponsor from my dirt car, and the racetrack has 600 people in
- 9:54attendance and it's right off the side of Interstate 55.
- 9:59Who should I look for a sponsor? And please write me a letter.
- 10:04You don't wait 15 to 30 seconds and this damn thing will go and
- 10:10it will do it. You can't even be that smart.
- 10:14It will write a letter to your sponsor.
- 10:16It'll tell you how to go about everything and you're like, how
- 10:20in the hell? Well, that's a supercomputer.
- 10:25So anyway, I just thought I'd share with you that ChatGPT and
- 10:30AI, we got another economic boom.
- 10:35You're going to see the stock market generally go up.
- 10:38You're going to see things better because of this new, this
- 10:42new world, this new business. All right, everybody, I did my
- 10:48best today during tough circumstances.
- 10:54Have a nice Saturday.
