- 0:40SPEAKER_00: Do you like Johnny or John?
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: Johnny, it's fine.
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: Coach.
- 0:43SPEAKER_01: Well, I know when I know you, it's Johnny.
- 0:44SPEAKER_01: When I don't know you, and I'm formal, I say John, but I know you.
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: So it's Johnny Trishgetty.
- 0:50SPEAKER_02: AKA Johnny Balls, aka Johnny Lightning.
- 0:53SPEAKER_02: That's correct.
- 0:53SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: AKA When I said today when I was driving Michael to school with Bennett, do you remember Bennett?
- 0:59SPEAKER_00: Was Bennett on the team when we when you coached Flag?
- 1:02SPEAKER_00: I feel like he was.
- 1:03SPEAKER_01: He was, but you wouldn't have remembered him.
- 1:05SPEAKER_01: Wait, the one that the kid that I love was the blonde-haired kid.
- 1:07SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:08SPEAKER_01: He had a lot of balls.
- 1:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah, Caleb.
- 1:10SPEAKER_01: No, not Caleb.
- 1:10SPEAKER_01: It was the other kid.
- 1:11SPEAKER_01: Might have been Bennett.
- 1:12SPEAKER_00: It might have been Bennett.
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: His mom, his mom kept him out of one of the games because he was creating problems in school.
- 1:17SPEAKER_01: Oh, and we tried to talk about it.
- 1:19SPEAKER_01: Emmett was.
- 1:20SPEAKER_00: Okay, that was Emmett.
- 1:21SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he's in a street gang now.
- 1:23unknown: Oh my God.
- 1:25SPEAKER_02: His dad was a big king.
- 1:26SPEAKER_02: Emmett had balls.
- 1:26SPEAKER_01: I love Emmett.
- 1:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: I wonder how he's doing.
- 1:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: Um, no, I was saying to Michael and Bennett, my coach lightning.
- 1:32SPEAKER_00: And Bennett's like, huh?
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: And Michael's like, you know, thunder.
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: I'm like, no one's ever called him thunder.
- 1:36SPEAKER_00: I'm like, you're getting it confused.
- 1:38SPEAKER_00: It's lightning.
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:39SPEAKER_01: 1000%.
- 1:40SPEAKER_01: I've never been called Coach Thunder.
- 1:41SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:41SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 1:41SPEAKER_00: Well, Michael may maybe maybe.
- 1:43SPEAKER_02: He's no, he said he had thunder hips.
- 1:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: There you go.
- 1:47SPEAKER_00: When I hit on thunderous, yeah.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: That's about it.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 1:51SPEAKER_00: So thank you for being on here.
- 1:52SPEAKER_00: Thank you for having me.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: Appreciate it.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: I was waiting for this, this invitation.
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: You are a little bit.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: It did take long.
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: A little surprised.
- 1:59SPEAKER_00: Um, but we had you on here because.
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: Let's see, we had Kimmy on here, and you know Kimmy very well.
- 2:07SPEAKER_01: Kimmy's a great girl.
- 2:08SPEAKER_01: Wonderful woman.
- 2:09SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 2:09SPEAKER_01: She really is.
- 2:10SPEAKER_01: I have nothing but good things to say.
- 2:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: She's the best.
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: And she came on.
- 2:13SPEAKER_01: You want to hear the dirt, actually, but we'll wait a little bit.
- 2:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's fine.
- 2:16SPEAKER_00: You weren't on here, right?
- 2:18SPEAKER_00: You were in Jersey when I did hers.
- 2:19SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 2:20SPEAKER_02: But she had so many views about being single.
- 2:23SPEAKER_02: And that was a woman's perspective asked by my wife, and Kimmy's perspective being a young in her 30s, right?
- 2:29SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 2:30SPEAKER_02: And then Johnny, even though you don't look it, you look like you're in their 30s.
- 2:33SPEAKER_02: I wish.
- 2:34SPEAKER_02: But you're in your mid to later 50s, right?
- 2:37SPEAKER_02: Uh 54.
- 2:37SPEAKER_02: 50 to 50.
- 2:38SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so I'll be 55 in November.
- 2:40SPEAKER_02: And you are single, which is mind-boggling to me because look how handsome you are.
- 2:44SPEAKER_02: And you know how to put together an outfit.
- 2:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 2:46SPEAKER_01: Jason, you want to turn into a girl when you start dating?
- 2:49SPEAKER_02: You and I would be a crazy.
- 2:50SPEAKER_02: Yeah, no, no doubt.
- 2:51SPEAKER_02: Oh my gosh.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: Okay, so we want your perspective.
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: So I don't know.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: What's a question to ask John?
- 2:58SPEAKER_02: So first off, John and I, just to give you background, uh, Johnny and I worked at a place, Pasta Briones, and it started out as the regular restaurant, and then it became like kind of like a like a cult sensation almost, right?
- 3:13SPEAKER_01: At some point.
- 3:14SPEAKER_01: I agree.
- 3:15SPEAKER_01: Well, I, you know, you, Gino Compaso, and uh the uh Walter were the originals, right?
- 3:21SPEAKER_01: And Paulie, Paul Pascantelli.
- 3:23SPEAKER_01: And then I I I came in with like the second wave, which was East Alone, Keith, and then uh then obviously you had the mix, which was like Rocco and all of that.
- 3:32SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 3:32SPEAKER_01: So I I knew of you at first, and then you came back in and we became friends and we've been friends ever since.
- 3:38SPEAKER_01: Like 1999?
- 3:39SPEAKER_01: 99.
- 3:39SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's crazy.
- 3:40SPEAKER_02: Time flies.
- 3:41SPEAKER_02: Really does.
- 3:42SPEAKER_02: Really does.
- 3:43SPEAKER_02: So you are a real estate agent in profession, correct?
- 3:46SPEAKER_02: I am, yes.
- 3:47SPEAKER_02: And you and I work together.
- 3:48SPEAKER_01: That's why I'm wearing this monkey outfit.
- 3:49SPEAKER_01: This is this is not typically how I dress.
- 3:52SPEAKER_01: Usually I'm in shorts or uh sweatpants and a tank top or a t-shirt.
- 3:55SPEAKER_01: Awesome.
- 3:56SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but why we have you here, and you're super successful, you do luxury homes in Silverleaf and DC ranch areas.
- 4:05SPEAKER_02: I try to eight five two five five zip codes and so forth.
- 4:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I would say eight five two five five eight five two six six eight five two six two are probably my three most dominant zip codes.
- 4:14SPEAKER_02: But with that being said, we have you here because we go by analytics, and analytics say it is super people want to know about dating.
- 4:24SPEAKER_02: For some reason, everybody's an expert.
- 4:25SPEAKER_02: Meanwhile, when you look at their profile, they have three cats and look like they'd be like a t-shirt, but they're exactly ruthless.
- 4:33SPEAKER_01: So um, I may I may be throwing you a curveball right now, okay?
- 4:37SPEAKER_01: So back in our pasta brioni days, I mean, my whole life revolved around like we were the original like Jersey Shore people, right?
- 4:44SPEAKER_01: Like it was like gym tan, laundry, yeah, go for the run.
- 4:47SPEAKER_01: And it was like my whole life consisted of do I go home and bang this board to four o'clock in the morning, or do I get a good night's sleep and get a good workout tomorrow?
- 4:53SPEAKER_01: That's literally that's all I thought about.
- 4:55SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 4:55SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 4:55SPEAKER_01: So that's kind of the way I was uh in that pasta brioni world.
- 4:59SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you know what I'm saying?
- 5:00SPEAKER_01: Then I met my ex-wife and I I loved her and I wanted to be, I've always wanted to be a family man.
- 5:04SPEAKER_01: I've always wanted to be married, I've always wanted to have a family, it's always been my heart's desire.
- 5:08SPEAKER_01: Just didn't didn't seem to work out for whatever reason, right?
- 5:11SPEAKER_01: So, and then as I've gotten older, I kind of reverted back to that like pasta brioni mindset, right?
- 5:18SPEAKER_01: I love it.
- 5:19SPEAKER_01: And then um, you know, I remember I was in Vegas one day and I was I was there with Frank Morola.
- 5:24SPEAKER_01: Uh-huh.
- 5:25SPEAKER_01: And I I kind of had like an epiphany.
- 5:26SPEAKER_01: I won't go like into the whole entire thing, and I just said to myself, it's all a lie.
- 5:30SPEAKER_01: I was looking at the girl dancing on the cage and was like, why is she dancing on the cage?
- 5:34SPEAKER_01: Did she have an unwanted pregnancy?
- 5:35SPEAKER_01: Does she have an STD?
- 5:36SPEAKER_01: What's right?
- 5:37SPEAKER_01: What's why is she there?
- 5:38SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 5:38SPEAKER_01: Uh so I was like, what's the hurt that's behind all of that?
- 5:41SPEAKER_01: And then I'm I You weren't on no drugs at the time.
- 5:44SPEAKER_01: No drugs completely.
- 5:45SPEAKER_01: I didn't know.
- 5:45SPEAKER_01: And I know you didn't even drink me.
- 5:47SPEAKER_01: I never drank.
- 5:47SPEAKER_01: I was always the guy with water in the club and lollipop.
- 5:50SPEAKER_01: And it was, I remember to go on a tangent, right?
- 5:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 5:52SPEAKER_01: Some guy came up to me.
- 5:53SPEAKER_01: He's like, Are you rolling, dude?
- 5:54SPEAKER_01: Because you're and I was like, What do you mean rolling?
- 5:56SPEAKER_01: And he's like, Are you rolling?
- 5:57SPEAKER_01: Like, you mean like rolling a bowling board?
- 5:59SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 5:59SPEAKER_01: And he's like, No, I'm like rolling a joint.
- 6:01SPEAKER_01: He's like, No, are you rolling on ecstasy?
- 6:03SPEAKER_01: I was like, I was like, get the hell out of here with that garbage.
- 6:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah, because I I never did that because I was always into health and fitness.
- 6:08SPEAKER_01: It always kept me on the straight narrow for the most part, right?
- 6:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 6:12SPEAKER_01: So anyway, getting back to that, I kind of have like a an out-of-body experience.
- 6:16SPEAKER_01: So I don't want to sound like I'm nuts, but I really did, right?
- 6:18SPEAKER_01: So I see the people over by the bar and they're drinking and they're and they're they're you know being happy.
- 6:23SPEAKER_01: And I see them and I say to myself, it's a lie.
- 6:27SPEAKER_01: There's an addiction with drugs, there's an addiction with alcohol, there's an addiction, whatever it may be.
- 6:32SPEAKER_01: So yeah, on the surface, it looks like it's fun, it looks like it's fun, but at the end, there's always an addiction, death, or or jail time that's associated with that.
- 6:40SPEAKER_01: It's it's the wages of sin of death, right?
- 6:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 6:42SPEAKER_01: So then I'm now I'm over by the crap's table, and then I see them rolling the dice, and the cocktail server comes up, and I'm like, now you have a gambling addiction, drug addiction.
- 6:51SPEAKER_01: So it's all bullshit.
- 6:52SPEAKER_01: This world's fucked up.
- 6:53SPEAKER_01: It is, it's fucked up.
- 6:54SPEAKER_01: Totally, right?
- 6:54SPEAKER_01: So I'm like, part of my friends, but it's like it's total bullshit.
- 6:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 6:57SPEAKER_01: I'm like, I know how this story ends.
- 6:59SPEAKER_01: I know the ending.
- 7:00SPEAKER_01: I've read the book a million times, I've been in the movie, I've been the star of the movie.
- 7:03SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 7:04SPEAKER_01: You know what I mean?
- 7:04SPEAKER_01: And I know how it ends.
- 7:05SPEAKER_01: So I turned to Frankie.
- 7:06SPEAKER_01: Frankie was yaked out of his mind.
- 7:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 7:08SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, I'm done, cuz.
- 7:09SPEAKER_01: And he's like, all right, bro, go up to the room.
- 7:11SPEAKER_01: And I was like, nah, nah.
- 7:12SPEAKER_01: And I just I just knew it wasn't the time.
- 7:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 7:14SPEAKER_01: And then I was like, you know, I'm not gonna be, I'm not gonna be doing this anymore.
- 7:18SPEAKER_01: And then, you know, I kind of went back to what I was doing.
- 7:22SPEAKER_01: And fast forward, I got back together with my ex-wife.
- 7:24SPEAKER_01: We were together, we broke up, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 7:26SPEAKER_01: And I was pretty angry for a while.
- 7:28SPEAKER_01: And uh, actually, very angry.
- 7:29SPEAKER_01: You know, I was angry at God, I was angry at my situation.
- 7:32SPEAKER_01: I was just felt very alone, very isolated.
- 7:35SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 7:35SPEAKER_01: You know what I'm saying?
- 7:36SPEAKER_01: Um, I did meet a very nice girl, a probean girl, wonderful, wonderful woman.
- 7:40SPEAKER_02: And it's almost like God puts people in your life to get you to the next one.
- 7:43SPEAKER_01: 100%, 100%.
- 7:45SPEAKER_01: She was a wonderful woman, super nice woman, very caring, uh, just really the opposite of what my ex was.
- 7:51SPEAKER_01: Very nurturing, very caring, a homemaker.
- 7:54SPEAKER_01: By the way, women, ladies, I'll say this.
- 7:57SPEAKER_01: If you really want to get to a man, feed him.
- 8:00SPEAKER_00: Oh, that wasn't a good one.
- 8:00SPEAKER_01: What if the man is feeding?
- 8:02SPEAKER_01: What if the man likes a cook?
- 8:03SPEAKER_01: What that's fine, but I'm saying every man it instinctually wants to be cooked for.
- 8:07SPEAKER_01: True.
- 8:08SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 8:09SPEAKER_01: There's nothing like coming home to a house and you smell garlic in the house.
- 8:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah, nothing.
- 8:13SPEAKER_01: You know what I'm saying?
- 8:14SPEAKER_01: So there's an old saying we would say, you know, feed him, bang him, and respect him, and he'll stay with you for the rest of his life.
- 8:19SPEAKER_01: It's pretty easy because men are simple.
- 8:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's true.
- 8:21SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 8:22SPEAKER_01: It really is.
- 8:22SPEAKER_01: It's very actually a very, very simple concept.
- 8:25SPEAKER_01: Feed him, bang him, and respect him.
- 8:26SPEAKER_01: In that order?
- 8:28SPEAKER_01: In that order.
- 8:28SPEAKER_01: Imagine you have somebody actually feeding at you while you're banging them?
- 8:31SPEAKER_01: Is that great?
- 8:32SPEAKER_01: I would love to be Fred Grace while I'm banging somebody.
- 8:36SPEAKER_02: That was a Seinfeld episode.
- 8:37SPEAKER_01: Was it really?
- 8:38SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 8:38SPEAKER_01: All right, well, it's it's it's a very simple thing.
- 8:41SPEAKER_01: So anyway, getting back to it, I I um I kind of have my uh my watch is falling off here.
- 8:47SPEAKER_01: I kind of had like my I always say it was like my Lieutenant Dan moment in um in uh Forest Gump.
- 8:55SPEAKER_01: And remember when the storm came and he's like, all right, God, it's me and you, and he has like the war with God, and they survive, and then like he does his backstroke in the ocean, and he kind of has like he gets his piece.
- 9:07SPEAKER_01: Okay, right?
- 9:07SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 9:08SPEAKER_01: So I wanted to get my piece, I would say uh October of 2023.
- 9:14SPEAKER_01: So I was going through another, another round with the ex with the fighting and the divorce and not seeing the kids and blah blah blah blah.
- 9:21SPEAKER_01: It was pretty, pretty vicious.
- 9:22SPEAKER_01: And then, but all of it came out, it all got exposed, it all came out.
- 9:27SPEAKER_01: I was completely vindicated.
- 9:29SPEAKER_01: I got sole custody of my daughter, which is which is rarity, yeah, right?
- 9:32SPEAKER_01: So I wind up getting sole custody of my daughter, and uh, and then from that point forward, my ex and I have actually been getting along really well.
- 9:39SPEAKER_01: No, that's good, and it it is good because it's the best thing for the children, yes, a million percent.
- 9:44SPEAKER_01: 100% in their life.
- 9:46SPEAKER_01: No one does, but I'm the type of person that's like I'm pretending.
- 9:49SPEAKER_01: So once I dig my feet in the sand, I always said to her, I'll see you with the finish line.
- 9:53SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'll never stop fighting.
- 9:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and you didn't, and I didn't know I fought for 20 plus years.
- 9:58SPEAKER_01: No, I know, right?
- 9:59SPEAKER_01: So, but I would never walk away from my children, basically.
- 10:02SPEAKER_02: So, anyway, uh just a segue uh to that really quick, and I know we're short on time, but just to talk about your tenacity, you battled for 20 years, right?
- 10:13SPEAKER_02: Absolutely, yeah.
- 10:13SPEAKER_02: And you learned off you learned the law so well that number one, a judge said you should go to law school 100%.
- 10:18SPEAKER_02: And number two, you actually helped fathers with their uh divorce cases multiple, which is actually kudos to you.
- 10:25SPEAKER_01: Which is amazing.
- 10:26SPEAKER_01: Every not every, but a lot of the fathers that I have helped in the past.
- 10:30SPEAKER_01: One of my friends is like Raphael, I helped him.
- 10:33SPEAKER_01: Uh Raf hired many different attorneys, he couldn't get anywhere, wasn't getting to see his kids.
- 10:37SPEAKER_01: I helped him, I took over his case.
- 10:39SPEAKER_01: And I was filing all the petitions and everything for him, and he wound up getting so close.
- 10:42SPEAKER_01: Was it pro bono?
- 10:44SPEAKER_01: No, actually, what I did was uh which is probably not even I shouldn't even mention this kind of thing, but what I was doing is I would charge him per um and the only reason why I did this because I find when you do something for free, people don't they don't respect it and then they won't implement it.
- 10:58SPEAKER_01: Yes, right?
- 10:58SPEAKER_01: So I purposely charged him to so he'd have a commitment.
- 11:01SPEAKER_01: Yes, right?
- 11:02SPEAKER_01: So basically it's almost like working out with a trainer.
- 11:04SPEAKER_01: 100%.
- 11:05SPEAKER_01: So like if I had to, if I had to file the petition, like start a petition, it was a hundred, right?
- 11:10SPEAKER_01: If I had to respond, it was fifty.
- 11:11SPEAKER_01: If there was a reply, it was fifty, and then it was like, you know, building it all out.
- 11:15SPEAKER_01: And I kind of built the business off of that.
- 11:17SPEAKER_01: At one point, I was actually helping like three or four different people.
- 11:19SPEAKER_01: I was working all doing a lot of it, right?
- 11:21SPEAKER_01: And I was very, very, very successful with it because there's this there's a process to the whole thing.
- 11:26SPEAKER_01: And typically what happens is that uh the the men will fight to not pay child support, they usually will control over money, yep, and women will use the children as control over the men, right?
- 11:37SPEAKER_01: And that's that's typically the way it goes.
- 11:39SPEAKER_01: And and and the courts see it as two competing interests.
- 11:42SPEAKER_01: And this is one of the problems, is that when when you get married as a man, not always, but generally, when you get married as a man, everything that you have as a man, a man can be held liable by the law, right?
- 11:55SPEAKER_01: So the man has to build, provide, protect, do all that other stuff, you know.
- 11:58SPEAKER_01: Um, and then you could go into a court system, the court can hold you accountable, they could they could take your retirement fund, they could take your money if you're not paying child, whatever it may be, they could throw you in jail, right?
- 12:08SPEAKER_01: And then usually the job of the woman is to nurture, create, have a home, give sex.
- 12:12SPEAKER_01: None of that's enforceable.
- 12:13SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 12:14SPEAKER_01: So I would always say, you know, yeah, you like so, in other words, I have to have to maintain your lifestyle with spousal maintenance, but who maintains mine?
- 12:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 12:24SPEAKER_01: And it's only, right?
- 12:25SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 12:26SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 12:26SPEAKER_01: So the so do I get to hire a maid, right?
- 12:29SPEAKER_01: And she's gonna cook, clean, and do all that other stuff for me, do my laundry?
- 12:32SPEAKER_01: Do I get to do I get to get a hooker to come in here and I bang her twice a week?
- 12:35SPEAKER_01: And then, you know, the the do you understand what I'm saying?
- 12:38SPEAKER_01: I totally get it.
- 12:38SPEAKER_01: Where's where's where's my recourse?
- 12:40SPEAKER_01: It seems very one-sided.
- 12:41SPEAKER_01: It it appears to be one-sided, but there's there there are two sides to every story.
- 12:45SPEAKER_01: Sure.
- 12:45SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 12:46SPEAKER_01: So anyway, fast forwarding with that, I know you want press for time.
- 12:50SPEAKER_01: Um I winded up kind of recommitting my life to Jesus Christ.
- 12:55SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 12:56SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 12:56SPEAKER_01: So, and it's very, very difficult to date someone when you're in that realm.
- 13:03SPEAKER_01: Okay, because I'm dating with intention.
- 13:05SPEAKER_02: So let me let me ask you this question, John.
- 13:09SPEAKER_02: You had an epiphany, you are where you are, right?
- 13:11SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 13:12SPEAKER_02: What if you see the signs of a good woman that's just not where you're at, but you could see that like do you give her the benefit of the doubt that maybe she'll have that epiphany at some point, or is it just she needs to be at your level and that's it?
- 13:26SPEAKER_01: You know, I know I always question right.
- 13:28SPEAKER_01: No, I mean, uh would I be willing to wait?
- 13:31SPEAKER_01: I would say, I would say yes, but I'll say this God doesn't prepare the woman for the God doesn't prepare the man for the woman, he prepares the woman for the man.
- 13:39SPEAKER_01: If you go back to the beginning of time, God created Eve for Adam, and he he pranced Eve in front of Adam, and Adam accepted her.
- 13:48SPEAKER_03: Right?
- 13:48SPEAKER_01: And God also saw when the only time God ever said that something wasn't good is when man when when when wow, when man was alone.
- 13:55SPEAKER_01: When he saw Adam was alone, he knocked him out, pulled out his rib, and then bang, you have Eve.
- 14:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah, right.
- 14:00SPEAKER_01: So we're not we're not meant to go through life alone.
- 14:02SPEAKER_01: It's not the way life is supposed to be.
- 14:04SPEAKER_01: And I think a big part of the problem is from a male's perspective, is women today, especially American women today, are too busy dating themselves.
- 14:13unknown: Yeah.
- 14:13SPEAKER_01: They are.
- 14:13SPEAKER_01: I agree.
- 14:14SPEAKER_01: Like right.
- 14:15SPEAKER_01: So, in other words, it's all about their social media.
- 14:17SPEAKER_01: It's all about like it she raises her hand.
- 14:20SPEAKER_01: No, I have I right.
- 14:21SPEAKER_01: So I'm just saying, like it's it's just like it's literally like the Miley Cyrus song.
- 14:25SPEAKER_01: It's like I can love me better than you can.
- 14:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 14:28SPEAKER_01: That is the modern day American thing.
- 14:30SPEAKER_01: And here you come in like a wrecking ball.
- 14:31SPEAKER_01: I'm just saying, that's so almost like the movie, like the guy that comes in and then like bridles the woman, and then after they're with me, they get married.
- 14:38SPEAKER_01: I don't know what that movie was.
- 14:39SPEAKER_01: Like after they date the one guy, like they get married all the time, right?
- 14:42SPEAKER_01: So, anyway, it's it's you come in and you have these women, and uh, they're so busy dating themselves and they're so self-absorbed and they're so worried about their physical beauty that there's so much more than just that.
- 14:56SPEAKER_01: Where is your intellect?
- 14:57SPEAKER_01: Where is your character?
- 14:58SPEAKER_01: Where is your where is your spirituality?
- 15:00SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 15:00SPEAKER_01: Where where is your depth?
- 15:02SPEAKER_01: I always say I've stepped in puddles deeper than half the women in Scottsdale.
- 15:05SPEAKER_01: Sure.
- 15:06SPEAKER_01: They're awful.
- 15:06SPEAKER_01: They're all they're all cut out of the same cloth, the Lululemon outfit, the sports bra.
- 15:10SPEAKER_01: If it's called out, they put the jacket on, zip it up so their tits are hanging out.
- 15:13SPEAKER_01: They all got the fake lips, they all got the the Botox, and they usually wear the hat and they all look like they've been stamped out of the same thing.
- 15:19SPEAKER_01: You just called my wife out.
- 15:20SPEAKER_01: I'm just saying, they all look like they've been stamped out of the same thing, but which is fine.
- 15:24SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's it's okay to have the physical beauty, but there's so much more than that.
- 15:28SPEAKER_01: Sure.
- 15:29SPEAKER_01: You know what I'm saying?
- 15:29SPEAKER_01: And as a man, when you get to be our age, when you get to be 40s and 50s, and if you have any kind of financial success, we're not gonna put up with your bullshit.
- 15:38SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 15:39SPEAKER_01: We're not, and that's the problem.
- 15:41SPEAKER_01: Yeah, women want a high value man, but when they get a high value man, they want to bring in their bullshit, and then the man's like, I'm not dealing with it.
- 15:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah, not dealing with it.
- 15:49SPEAKER_01: You know what I'm saying?
- 15:50SPEAKER_01: So I think that's one of the problems.
- 15:52SPEAKER_01: And the other thing I'll tell you is that like dating with intention, you know, you are trying to meet someone in the church, right?
- 15:59SPEAKER_01: Well, fellas, I got news for you.
- 16:01SPEAKER_01: The women in the church is probably worse than the women that are out there because they're recycling themselves.
- 16:05SPEAKER_01: That's what they're doing.
- 16:06SPEAKER_01: What do you mean?
- 16:06SPEAKER_01: They're just checking out a new venue.
- 16:08SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 16:09SPEAKER_01: So, in other words, they were a bartender, they married a guy, they had their two kids, they thought they could do better, they initiate a divorce, now they're renting a room in the house, their life is garbage, but they have to route every night of the week.
- 16:19SPEAKER_01: You know, it's it's Taco Tuesday, wine Wednesday, Thursday, Thursday, freaky Friday, slippery Saturday, impact Sunday.
- 16:25SPEAKER_01: Yeah, right?
- 16:25SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 16:26SPEAKER_01: I mean, that's just like the way it is, you know, and then it's like they're so busy dating themselves and then they're going on these vacations and everything.
- 16:32SPEAKER_01: And then they realize they look back, they're like, oh my God, like this is hard, this is difficult.
- 16:36SPEAKER_01: And now they're looking for some shim in the church to pick them up and and carry their baggage.
- 16:42SPEAKER_01: You got to bring something to the relationship.
- 16:44SPEAKER_01: You can't just bring nothing.
- 16:44SPEAKER_01: So, like the girl Kimmy said, I didn't want to pay 37 cents for a slice of pizza or whatever it was, right?
- 16:49SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 16:50SPEAKER_01: Okay, which actually was a really good clip.
- 16:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it caught my attention.
- 16:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 16:53SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 16:53SPEAKER_01: So, in other words, yeah, well, we don't want to, we don't want every girl I see to meet, they're renting a room.
- 16:59SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 16:59SPEAKER_01: I'm like, you're 45 years old.
- 17:01SPEAKER_01: How are you renting a room?
- 17:01SPEAKER_01: You got kids.
- 17:02SPEAKER_01: Like, where where is your where is your commitment to like bettering yourself?
- 17:07SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 17:08SPEAKER_01: Does that make sense?
- 17:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 17:09SPEAKER_01: Not all women are like that.
- 17:10SPEAKER_01: I'm just saying, you know.
- 17:11SPEAKER_01: So then the other thing is that, you know, trying to date pure, not be, not be sexual, you know what I'm saying?
- 17:17SPEAKER_01: That's tough too, right?
- 17:18SPEAKER_01: It's very hard.
- 17:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 17:19SPEAKER_01: Because, you know, it's very, I'm in that tribal relation.
- 17:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I get it, right?
- 17:22SPEAKER_01: It's very, it's very, very difficult.
- 17:24SPEAKER_01: But these women, you know, I've fallen into I fall into the trap.
- 17:28SPEAKER_01: I've had sex, right?
- 17:29SPEAKER_01: And then I I feel really guilty and I would talk to them about it.
- 17:33SPEAKER_01: And then I'd say, Do you feel guilty?
- 17:34SPEAKER_01: And they would say, No.
- 17:35SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, Are you listening to the same word that I'm hearing?
- 17:38SPEAKER_01: Are you reading the same Bible as me?
- 17:40SPEAKER_01: And I'm finding a lot of women cherry-pick the Bible.
- 17:43SPEAKER_01: They cherry pick.
- 17:44SPEAKER_01: They cherry-pick that which is good for them.
- 17:45SPEAKER_01: So let me let me give you an example.
- 17:47SPEAKER_01: Every woman's gonna agree with me on this.
- 17:49SPEAKER_01: A man's job is to build, provide, protect, lead, and teach, right?
- 17:52SPEAKER_01: And I agree with that.
- 17:53SPEAKER_01: Would you agree with that?
- 17:54SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 17:55SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 17:55SPEAKER_01: You want a man that's gonna build, build, provide, protect, lead, and teach.
- 17:58SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 17:58SPEAKER_01: No one wants a beta male.
- 17:59SPEAKER_01: Unless previously gay.
- 18:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah, right.
- 18:01SPEAKER_01: No one wants a beta male.
- 18:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 18:02SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 18:03SPEAKER_01: So fine, Dandy, I agree.
- 18:05SPEAKER_01: But what's your job as the woman?
- 18:07SPEAKER_01: They can't answer you.
- 18:09SPEAKER_01: What do you bring to the table?
- 18:10SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 18:10SPEAKER_01: They can't answer you.
- 18:11SPEAKER_01: So then I'll say to them, okay, you want a man to lead.
- 18:16SPEAKER_01: How does a man lead?
- 18:18SPEAKER_01: So if if you don't agree, if we're together and you don't agree with what I say, are you gonna subvert your will to me and allow me to lead, or you're gonna fight me on it?
- 18:28SPEAKER_01: Are you having these conversations with with the women?
- 18:31SPEAKER_02: I do have these conversations before or after sex.
- 18:33SPEAKER_01: Uh both.
- 18:35SPEAKER_01: But I I I've I've actually been pretty good.
- 18:37SPEAKER_01: I haven't done any of that stuff.
- 18:38SPEAKER_01: Because like I said, I've committed my life to Christ and I'm trying to trying to date pure.
- 18:41SPEAKER_01: Now, a lot of people are gonna think I'm nuts, but that's really what I'm doing.
- 18:44SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 18:44SPEAKER_00: What does that mean?
- 18:45SPEAKER_00: Date pure, like don't have sex.
- 18:47SPEAKER_01: I want to meet a woman that's gonna be on the same page as me, that's a born-again Christian, okay, that that's family oriented, that loves.
- 18:53SPEAKER_01: If a woman loves God, she can love me and her family.
- 18:56SPEAKER_01: Okay, right?
- 18:56SPEAKER_01: So that's gonna immediately put me in a good spot, right?
- 18:59SPEAKER_01: So I want to be equally yoked, equal minded, spiritually, physically, emotionally, intellectually, and eventually sexually, right?
- 19:06SPEAKER_01: You want all of those things to happen in jail, right?
- 19:08SPEAKER_01: You see what I'm saying?
- 19:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so I want her to be on the same page, is what I'm saying.
- 19:11SPEAKER_01: So I was with this one girl, she was a Christian, and I asked him, like, do you feel guilty?
- 19:16SPEAKER_01: And she's like, No, I want a man that loves Jesus and is gonna bang the shit out of me, and you are the dude.
- 19:20SPEAKER_01: You know what I'm saying?
- 19:21SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, Do you even love that?
- 19:23SPEAKER_01: No, I was like, I'm not on the same page.
- 19:25SPEAKER_01: Really?
- 19:25SPEAKER_01: I'm not on the same page.
- 19:26SPEAKER_01: Well, now why not?
- 19:27SPEAKER_01: Ten years ago I would have been totally on the same page, right?
- 19:29SPEAKER_01: But everything else was good, pursuant to the Bible.
- 19:31SPEAKER_01: The fornication is of sin.
- 19:33SPEAKER_01: So you're saying you would need to marry first before you get back to that.
- 19:38SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 19:38SPEAKER_00: Did she give you a chance?
- 19:39SPEAKER_01: So I'm saying I'm probably throwing a big curb ball at you because when you knew me when I was in Pasta Briones, I, you know, I was obviously very promiscuous, right?
- 19:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 19:46SPEAKER_01: And then people say to me, You're 50, you're 54 years old, you banged all these broads, you've you've had sex.
- 19:51SPEAKER_01: Why are you waiting for because I recommitted my life to Christ.
- 19:55SPEAKER_01: So I'm using my discipline to him to be blessed.
- 20:00SPEAKER_00: Special thank you to Justin Liszt from State Farm.
- 20:03SPEAKER_00: Justin is our sponsor here at Local Legends with Jess and Jay.
- 20:07SPEAKER_00: His mission is simple.
- 20:08SPEAKER_00: He treats customers like family, provides real solutions, ensures every client feels confident, supported, and genuinely cared for.
- 20:16SPEAKER_00: That level of intention and service is exactly why he's considered one of our favorite local legends here in Arizona.
- 20:22SPEAKER_00: We're grateful for the support and proud to highlight Justin and his team for truly making a difference in our community.
- 20:31SPEAKER_02: Two questions.
- 20:32SPEAKER_02: A, do you do functions within the church?
- 20:34SPEAKER_02: I do.
- 20:35SPEAKER_02: So I play the bass in the church.
- 20:37SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 20:37SPEAKER_01: Are you involved in it otherwise?
- 20:39SPEAKER_01: So I am involved.
- 20:40SPEAKER_01: I am involved in the church.
- 20:41SPEAKER_01: But like I said, I I've met women in the church.
- 20:43SPEAKER_01: Oh, you mean in that level?
- 20:45SPEAKER_02: That they're actually going there, not just on Sundays, but they're actually going to things on Wednesdays or maybe.
- 20:51SPEAKER_01: I haven't met a woman at that level yet.
- 20:52SPEAKER_01: And that's what I've realized.
- 20:54SPEAKER_01: I need to, I I pretty much remove myself from like Bumble and Facebook dating.
- 20:59SPEAKER_01: No, I yeah, that wouldn't be good for you.
- 21:00SPEAKER_01: No, it's not because uh what happens is most people can't understand that, and I wouldn't be able to understand it either.
- 21:06SPEAKER_01: So, in other words, I want somebody to be on the same the same page and wavelength as I'm on.
- 21:12SPEAKER_01: Does that make sense?
- 21:13SPEAKER_01: So you actually need to pay for a professional person that can you need a real matchmaker.
- 21:20SPEAKER_02: Send them this video, and no, a real matchmaker will understand that.
- 21:23SPEAKER_02: No, I know God's gonna at least sometimes maybe God.
- 21:26SPEAKER_01: You committed to God because they may have women that that's pretty hard.
- 21:30SPEAKER_01: I just want to meet somebody from Trinity Church.
- 21:31SPEAKER_01: I don't know what's so hard about it.
- 21:32SPEAKER_01: But but the when I pray to God, I'm like, I'm like, God, listen, you're immortal, I'm not.
- 21:36SPEAKER_01: Could you get so you step off the throne and do something?
- 21:38SPEAKER_01: He's preparing her for you.
- 21:40SPEAKER_01: You are very intense.
- 21:42SPEAKER_01: I am very intense.
- 21:44SPEAKER_01: I actually met a girl, and she said it, she said it the best way that anybody could put it to me.
- 21:49SPEAKER_01: She said, Because you're waiting for God, and when you do meet that right woman, imagine how much more special that's gonna be.
- 21:57SPEAKER_01: And that's a really good point.
- 21:59SPEAKER_01: You know what I mean?
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: Saying it's a really good point, but I would really like to meet somebody, I'd like to settle down.
- 22:04SPEAKER_01: But again, like I said, it's like they yeah, they want you to build, provide, protect, and leave, but then they don't want to submit unto your will.
- 22:12SPEAKER_01: Submit is like a is like see, even this deep breath.
- 22:14SPEAKER_01: No, submit is like a taboo word.
- 22:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah, submit doesn't mean for me to be abusive and control and manipulate you.
- 22:21SPEAKER_01: That's not submit.
- 22:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah, submit means if I'm a coach of a team and I tell my team I want you to run a post pattern, yeah, and the kid runs it down and out, I say to him, get off the field, I'm putting someone else on the field because you're not listening to my plays.
- 22:32SPEAKER_01: Right, yeah, right?
- 22:33SPEAKER_01: And then if my plays don't work, we have to go back to the drawing board and kind of figure it out.
- 22:37SPEAKER_01: Now, that doesn't mean she can't sit down with me and say, hey, listen, I don't think I should run a post here, I should run an in.
- 22:43SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 22:43SPEAKER_01: But in other words, we equal.
- 22:45SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 22:45SPEAKER_01: In other words, I'm not the head, I'm not the foot, we come from the side.
- 22:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 22:48SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 22:48SPEAKER_01: But if you want me to lead, you have to allow me to lead.
- 22:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 22:52SPEAKER_01: And if you can't allow me to lead, then that's just not to me.
- 22:54SPEAKER_01: I'm just talking about a man.
- 22:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 22:56SPEAKER_01: If you can't allow a man to lead, then how can you possibly expect to be in a successful relationship?
- 23:02SPEAKER_01: It can't happen.
- 23:03SPEAKER_02: Why I say a professional like person that would introduce you somebody?
- 23:09SPEAKER_02: Because think about it this way what you're saying you want.
- 23:12SPEAKER_02: Imagine if a woman wants exactly what you are.
- 23:15SPEAKER_02: There's not a lot of guys like that.
- 23:16SPEAKER_02: So there has to be women that are looking for a guy like you.
- 23:19SPEAKER_02: You just haven't connected yet.
- 23:20SPEAKER_02: Well, it means that's not your unicorn and you're actually looking for a unicorn.
- 23:24SPEAKER_02: 100%.
- 23:25SPEAKER_01: So people say to me it doesn't exist.
- 23:26SPEAKER_02: No, it does, but it's just there's not people that we know.
- 23:30SPEAKER_01: Right, right.
- 23:31SPEAKER_01: So so I I meet a girl in the gym, very pretty, Brazilian woman.
- 23:34SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 23:35SPEAKER_01: Very sexy the whole nine yards, right?
- 23:37SPEAKER_01: And she wants to have sex with me.
- 23:39SPEAKER_01: And I actually turned her down.
- 23:41SPEAKER_01: I was like, I was like, way to go, bro.
- 23:42SPEAKER_01: You did it.
- 23:43SPEAKER_01: You know what I'm saying?
- 23:43SPEAKER_01: Like I actually showed self-resistant restraint.
- 23:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 23:46SPEAKER_01: No, no, no.
- 23:47SPEAKER_01: And then she got like really angry and upset with me.
- 23:49SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 23:49SPEAKER_01: And I was sore one day in the gym.
- 23:51SPEAKER_01: I was like, if I told you the reason why, you wouldn't, you wouldn't be able to comprehend what I'm telling you.
- 23:55SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 23:56SPEAKER_01: And then I told her in the gym why I felt that way.
- 23:59SPEAKER_01: And then she's like, I don't understand.
- 24:01SPEAKER_01: I said, I knew you wouldn't.
- 24:02SPEAKER_01: You see what I'm saying?
- 24:04SPEAKER_01: So what I said to her, what I said to her, I said, imagine this for a moment.
- 24:08SPEAKER_01: I'm a single man that can have, I don't want to say to pick it a little, but in other words, I have options, right?
- 24:14SPEAKER_01: So I'm a single man, I have options.
- 24:16SPEAKER_01: And if I'm showing resolve and restraint as a single man, imagine how much more you can trust me if I marry you that you know I'm not gonna go outside the relationship and remain faithful to you.
- 24:25SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's right.
- 24:26SPEAKER_01: That's powerful.
- 24:27SPEAKER_01: Her answer was I don't care, I want it now.
- 24:29SPEAKER_01: What?
- 24:30SPEAKER_01: That's the answer.
- 24:31SPEAKER_01: You gotta care I want it now.
- 24:32SPEAKER_01: You gotta want me her number.
- 24:33SPEAKER_01: I need to talk to this girl.
- 24:35SPEAKER_01: I don't care, I want it now.
- 24:36SPEAKER_01: That's ridiculous.
- 24:36SPEAKER_01: I think what you're doing is dumb.
- 24:38SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 24:38SPEAKER_01: And I and I said, You're entitled to your opinion.
- 24:40SPEAKER_01: Now, you know, I'm usually very argumentative.
- 24:42SPEAKER_01: That's because no one ever said no.
- 24:43SPEAKER_01: Probably.
- 24:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 24:44SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 24:45SPEAKER_01: But I, you know, usually I'm very argumentative.
- 24:47SPEAKER_01: And I just said to myself, it there's no point in going any further.
- 24:50SPEAKER_01: Why waste my breath?
- 24:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 24:51SPEAKER_01: It's dumb.
- 24:51SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 24:52SPEAKER_01: You know what I'm saying?
- 24:52SPEAKER_01: Like, like I was with this one other girl, and I don't know what happened.
- 24:57SPEAKER_01: She's was accusing me of like cheating on her.
- 24:59SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, I'm not cheating on you.
- 25:00SPEAKER_01: Like, like, like yeah, we're not in a boyfriend, girlfriend relationship, but I'm not seeing anyone else.
- 25:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 25:06SPEAKER_01: You know what I'm saying?
- 25:07SPEAKER_01: And uh anyway, make a long story short, I winded up uh she sends me this long text message, and I and I sent her like I was gonna send her a long text message back.
- 25:16SPEAKER_01: And I said, why?
- 25:18SPEAKER_01: No matter what I say to her, she's not gonna believe me, so why waste my breath?
- 25:22SPEAKER_01: I'm out.
- 25:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah, wow.
- 25:24SPEAKER_01: I'm out.
- 25:25SPEAKER_01: And I never spoke to her again.
- 25:26SPEAKER_01: That's growth.
- 25:27SPEAKER_01: You know what I'm saying?
- 25:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, 100%.
- 25:28SPEAKER_01: Like, why argue?
- 25:30SPEAKER_01: Why go down that road?
- 25:31SPEAKER_01: It's not worth my time.
- 25:33SPEAKER_01: So now I know my energy.
- 25:34SPEAKER_02: That's why I picked up dirt bike riding.
- 25:36SPEAKER_02: That's what I'm saying.
- 25:36SPEAKER_02: Now you have hobbies, you focus on doing those things, and then eventually you're gonna meet somebody that's doing those hobbies and doing those things.
- 25:42SPEAKER_01: I would love to be able to share my life with you.
- 25:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's awesome.
- 25:44SPEAKER_01: That's you know, I want to be able to share someone that has the same interests as I do, that's spiritually aligned with me.
- 25:50SPEAKER_01: And then um, I'm not looking to date for a long period of time.
- 25:54SPEAKER_01: I'm not looking to bang broads, I'm looking to meet somebody of quality, and if that meshes to get married and have a family and have a relationship and be able to travel and enjoy what life spoils have to offer.
- 26:05SPEAKER_01: I feel like the song Zoom by the Commodores.
- 26:07SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you know what I'm saying?
- 26:08SPEAKER_01: I want to I want to taste honey.
- 26:10SPEAKER_01: You know, I want to walk amongst the stars at night.
- 26:12SPEAKER_01: Ladies, you know what I'm saying?
- 26:14SPEAKER_01: Like, that's what I want to do.
- 26:15SPEAKER_01: I want to be able to have those things.
- 26:16SPEAKER_01: I want to go to Italy and see it.
- 26:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you know the reason why I haven't gone to Italy?
- 26:19SPEAKER_01: Because I don't want to go without my wife.
- 26:20SPEAKER_01: Oh reason why.
- 26:22SPEAKER_01: I will not go until I meet it.
- 26:23SPEAKER_00: I feel like I'm having this moment right now, but I feel like we're gonna put this episode out in the universe and someone's gonna freak you to see this because you They're not gonna believe me, probably.
- 26:34SPEAKER_00: They're like, they just thought you're you're you're he's an enigma.
- 26:37SPEAKER_00: It's not normal.
- 26:38SPEAKER_00: But you know what?
- 26:39SPEAKER_00: It's not normal, but but you committed to God, and that that's really awesome.
- 26:43SPEAKER_00: And that that's really what you're following.
- 26:45SPEAKER_00: And someone is going to appreciate that and believe that, and they're gonna be like, oh my God, I'm prepared.
- 26:51SPEAKER_00: Like, God prepared me for him.
- 26:53SPEAKER_00: Here you go.
- 26:54SPEAKER_00: Here's my take a little bit of what you were saying before.
- 26:58SPEAKER_00: I feel like as we get older, and this is kind of the conversation with Kimmy, as a young girl from since I the hormones like came about, all I wanted was to be in love.
- 27:10SPEAKER_00: All I wanted was a family and a husband.
- 27:13SPEAKER_00: I just wanted love, right?
- 27:15SPEAKER_00: And I wasn't like I wasn't concerned with me.
- 27:20SPEAKER_00: I wasn't selfish.
- 27:21SPEAKER_00: It was like, what can I do to prove love?
- 27:24SPEAKER_00: What can I do to show I'm like such an awesome person?
- 27:27SPEAKER_00: I could be an awesome wife.
- 27:28SPEAKER_00: And as I got older, I just think naturally you find someone, like I I find, I found Jay.
- 27:36SPEAKER_00: And then it kind of went to, oh my, who the fuck am I?
- 27:40SPEAKER_00: And that's where I think most women come to a point.
- 27:43SPEAKER_00: I don't know if they come to a point because they've been in a relationship, or they just come to an age where it's like, holy shit, I've been living my life worrying about others for so long.
- 27:53SPEAKER_00: Now it's like, who am I?
- 27:55SPEAKER_02: How come I got the tail end of the career?
- 27:57SPEAKER_00: Listen, I'm obsessed with you.
- 27:59SPEAKER_00: Well, let me let me say this.
- 28:00SPEAKER_01: I'll say this.
- 28:01SPEAKER_01: Um always impressed me about you, honestly.
- 28:05SPEAKER_01: You met Jess and she came and she saw the Mercedes Benz and she saw the house, and you said to her, you were honest, like this is all going away.
- 28:12SPEAKER_01: Just so you know.
- 28:18SPEAKER_01: But that took balls, it took character, and it took honesty.
- 28:22SPEAKER_01: And that's probably why you're still with her today.
- 28:24SPEAKER_01: Because she recognized that, and most guys wouldn't say that.
- 28:27SPEAKER_01: They would lie, they would deceive.
- 28:29SPEAKER_01: And that's that's where guys, this is where the guys are wrong.
- 28:32SPEAKER_01: Like guys will lie, deceive to bang you, right?
- 28:34SPEAKER_01: Women will manipulate and control to get you to marry them so they can get access to everything you have.
- 28:39SPEAKER_01: Yeah, right.
- 28:40SPEAKER_01: Does that make sense?
- 28:40SPEAKER_01: So there's there's two sides to every story.
- 28:42SPEAKER_02: Yeah, there absolutely is.
- 28:44SPEAKER_02: Believe it or not, and this is real quick, and then we'll wrap it up.
- 28:47SPEAKER_02: There, quick story.
- 28:49SPEAKER_02: When I when I was at the tail end of my career where I wanted to be in a relationship, I went on a date, had the best date with the girl.
- 28:55SPEAKER_02: We went for pizza.
- 28:56SPEAKER_02: How do you feel about that, Just?
- 28:59SPEAKER_02: I and went back to our house.
- 29:01SPEAKER_02: She put her kid to sleep with her mother in the house.
- 29:03SPEAKER_02: And the mom's like, No, stay over, spend the night.
- 29:06SPEAKER_02: With the kid in the house.
- 29:06SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and then the she wanted to sleep with me, and I'm like, I'm not gonna do it.
- 29:10SPEAKER_02: You're gonna like me too much.
- 29:11SPEAKER_02: And and I wasn't being cocky, it was just that, and then I felt this was like weird.
- 29:15SPEAKER_02: Like, you you I shouldn't be here with your kid and your mom.
- 29:19SPEAKER_02: And then I'm like, I'm done.
- 29:20SPEAKER_02: This is stupid.
- 29:21SPEAKER_02: And I actually left and never did back.
- 29:23SPEAKER_02: I mean, it would have been so easy for me to do it.
- 29:25SPEAKER_02: I just chose not to because at that moment I thought it was more important for me to just not do it for her and just not even give her the inkling that I like her.
- 29:34SPEAKER_01: You know, it's it's funny.
- 29:35SPEAKER_01: I w I know you want to wrap this up, but really quick, I I'm on bumble.
- 29:37SPEAKER_01: So Kimmy was the one that gets me on bumble.
- 29:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah, right.
- 29:40SPEAKER_01: So Kimmy with Kimmy now, Kim and I met.
- 29:42SPEAKER_01: We were supposed to go on a date.
- 29:44SPEAKER_01: She was seeing a guy for six weeks, and then she says, I'm seeing him, I don't feel comfortable dating two people at the same time.
- 29:49SPEAKER_01: I was like, Oh, I really respect that, right?
- 29:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 29:51SPEAKER_01: So I said, Well, you know, if it doesn't work out, I hope it does.
- 29:53SPEAKER_01: But if it doesn't, my office still stands if I'm still available.
- 29:56SPEAKER_01: So she's like, well, you know, you should go on bumble and tinder, right?
- 29:58SPEAKER_01: So I went on bumble and tinder, and I realized pretty quickly Tinder was like just basically a bang site, right?
- 30:03SPEAKER_01: And then Bum Bumble, I was like obsessed with it at one point.
- 30:06SPEAKER_01: So I'm in New York and I meet a girl from Jersey in New York.
- 30:09SPEAKER_01: I meet her in the city.
- 30:10SPEAKER_01: Jen.
- 30:10SPEAKER_01: What?
- 30:11SPEAKER_01: Jen?
- 30:12SPEAKER_01: No, no, no, no.
- 30:13SPEAKER_01: No, no, no.
- 30:13SPEAKER_01: I did meet her, but anyway, I meet a school with Gina.
- 30:16SPEAKER_01: Actually, I meet her, I meet her in the city, we go out to eat, go, blah, blah, blah.
- 30:19SPEAKER_01: So now she's asking me to go back to her house with her in Jersey.
- 30:23SPEAKER_01: And I say to her, Where are your kids?
- 30:25SPEAKER_01: She goes, They're at the house.
- 30:26SPEAKER_01: And I go, you know, I could be a serial killer.
- 30:29SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 30:29SPEAKER_01: You're gonna bring me?
- 30:30SPEAKER_01: She's like, You come through the back door.
- 30:31SPEAKER_01: I'm like, absolutely.
- 30:32SPEAKER_01: I'm like, absolutely not.
- 30:34SPEAKER_01: And then she got mad at me.
- 30:35SPEAKER_01: She wanted you to come in the back door, she wanted me to go through the back door so I could have sex with her at night.
- 30:40SPEAKER_01: And I was like, Are you nuts?
- 30:42SPEAKER_01: I'm like, why would you put your kids in danger like that?
- 30:45SPEAKER_01: And she got so angry, man.
- 30:46SPEAKER_01: I'm like, I gotta catch the 822.
- 30:48SPEAKER_01: I'm out of here.
- 30:48SPEAKER_01: Meaning in New York, you gotta catch the train.
- 30:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah, right.
- 30:51SPEAKER_01: So I gotta go.
- 30:51SPEAKER_01: I was like, I gotta go back to Long Island.
- 30:53SPEAKER_01: If I miss the train, it's another hour and a half.
- 30:54SPEAKER_01: I'm not getting back till midnight.
- 30:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'll see you.
- 30:57SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 30:57SPEAKER_01: And you know, I mean it's crazy.
- 30:59SPEAKER_01: Same thing.
- 31:00SPEAKER_01: It's just craziness.
- 31:00SPEAKER_01: So it's definitely a difficult world out there.
- 31:03SPEAKER_01: But I believe if I stay patient, I stay the course, if I stay obese, stay vigilant, stay relentless.
- 31:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 31:09SPEAKER_01: Um, I believe that that my miracle, my my gift will come.
- 31:13SPEAKER_01: Well, you know, you have two cheerleaders, right?
- 31:15SPEAKER_01: You know, Jess is always trying to set me up.
- 31:17SPEAKER_01: I've already thought of it.
- 31:18SPEAKER_01: It's always like texting me, people, and I'm like, I'm always like, yeah, I think I'll pass on that one.
- 31:24SPEAKER_01: But I've given you a few.
- 31:26SPEAKER_01: I mean You gave me some layups.
- 31:28SPEAKER_03: I have given you some.
- 31:31SPEAKER_01: And I may have missed the layup on my end.
- 31:33SPEAKER_01: That's okay.
- 31:34SPEAKER_01: Right, you know what I'm saying?
- 31:34SPEAKER_01: But definitely, definitely looking out for my best.
- 31:36SPEAKER_01: And I love you both of you guys.
- 31:37SPEAKER_01: I really do.
- 31:38SPEAKER_01: No, man.
- 31:38SPEAKER_01: You have a beautiful family.
- 31:39SPEAKER_01: I love seeing the maturation of your kids.
- 31:41SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 31:41SPEAKER_01: It's a beautiful thing to say.
- 31:43SPEAKER_01: It really is.
- 31:43SPEAKER_01: So hopefully one day I can have that.
- 31:45SPEAKER_01: No, you will.
- 31:46SPEAKER_01: You will.
- 31:46SPEAKER_01: It's there.
- 31:47SPEAKER_00: This is going to be a shetty.
- 31:50SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, look me up.
- 31:52SPEAKER_01: Google me.
- 31:53SPEAKER_01: Google me.
- 31:54SPEAKER_01: Google him.
- 31:54SPEAKER_01: Google him.
- 31:55SPEAKER_01: Google me.
- 31:55SPEAKER_01: Look me.
- 31:56SPEAKER_01: Look me up on Facebook.
- 31:57SPEAKER_01: Playing bass a little bit.
- 31:58SPEAKER_01: You know, I can't sing, but I can salinate you to the bass.
- 32:01SPEAKER_01: There you go.
- 32:01SPEAKER_01: He's good.
- 32:02SPEAKER_01: What church you go to?
- 32:03SPEAKER_01: Trinity, you said?
- 32:04SPEAKER_01: I go to Trinity, yes.
- 32:05SPEAKER_01: I play there all the time.
- 32:06SPEAKER_01: I absolutely love that church.
- 32:07SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 32:08SPEAKER_01: It was the first time I went to a pastor that was a man.
- 32:10SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 32:10SPEAKER_01: And had balls, and he was saying things in a church that I like I never heard.
- 32:14SPEAKER_01: He actually said in the church, says, Men, you have to be savvy in business.
- 32:17SPEAKER_01: I never heard a pastor ever sing.
- 32:18SPEAKER_00: I love it.
- 32:19SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 32:19SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's be a fucking man.
- 32:21SPEAKER_01: It was such a man.
- 32:22SPEAKER_01: That's a I even belong to a thing called real men's.
- 32:24SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 32:24SPEAKER_01: And no, these guys are like, they got beards down to their chest.
- 32:28SPEAKER_01: That's for me.
- 32:28SPEAKER_01: I'm a cuisine.
- 32:29SPEAKER_01: I gotta be clean, you know, gotta put the nice shoes on.
- 32:32SPEAKER_01: But that's okay.
- 32:32SPEAKER_01: But I'm a man.
- 32:33SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 32:33SPEAKER_01: You know what I'm saying?
- 32:34SPEAKER_01: In their church, they say we build up men so we can provide, protect, and lead our women.
- 32:38SPEAKER_01: I love that.
- 32:38SPEAKER_01: You know what I'm saying?
- 32:39SPEAKER_01: So that's that's like their mantra.
- 32:41SPEAKER_01: So and he'll get labeled sometimes as a misogynist, but he's really not.
- 32:44SPEAKER_01: He puts all of the onus on the men.
- 32:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he really does.
- 32:48SPEAKER_01: He really does.
- 32:48SPEAKER_01: And his word is phenomenal.
- 32:51SPEAKER_01: And God is moving in that church, it's building, it's growing.
- 32:53SPEAKER_01: That's awesome.
- 32:54SPEAKER_01: It's incredible.
- 32:54SPEAKER_01: It really is.
- 32:55SPEAKER_01: And I'm so blessed and so happy to be a part of that church.
- 32:58SPEAKER_01: And even the music ministry, usually you got a lot of egos and people, you know, get jealous.
- 33:03SPEAKER_01: And there's just none of that in that church.
- 33:05SPEAKER_01: None of that.
- 33:05SPEAKER_01: Awesome.
- 33:06SPEAKER_01: Online, you just break out of solo and you're not.
- 33:08SPEAKER_01: Well, they do, they're getting mad at me.
- 33:09SPEAKER_01: Because I like to slap the bass.
- 33:10SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 33:10SPEAKER_01: And then they're like, and I'll like usually go on them on there, I'll be practicing I'll slap it.
- 33:14SPEAKER_01: And they're like, get it out now, Johnny.
- 33:15SPEAKER_01: Get it out.
- 33:16SPEAKER_01: Get it out now.
- 33:16SPEAKER_01: Because you're not going to be doing that during the service.
- 33:18SPEAKER_01: And then sometimes during the service, I'll just kind of break it in there.
- 33:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 33:20SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, you slapping the base.
- 33:22SPEAKER_01: Like, oh I didn't realize it.
- 33:23SPEAKER_01: I didn't realize it.
- 33:24SPEAKER_01: Anyway, but it's they're wonderful people.
- 33:25SPEAKER_01: It's a great church.
- 33:26SPEAKER_01: If you're thinking of going to a church, I highly, highly, highly, highly, highly recommend that church because it's all about family, getting married, doing the right thing, men supporting you, women making money, uh, being savvy in business.
- 33:38SPEAKER_01: And it's not just about that, it's about creating a relationship with God, being right with him, and then everything else will fall into place.
- 33:44SPEAKER_01: I love it.
- 33:45SPEAKER_01: And that's what I'm hoping for my life.
- 33:46SPEAKER_02: Well, Johnny, you have another layer that I didn't know was coming.
- 33:49SPEAKER_01: Well, I told you, I was going to turn a curveball today.
- 33:52SPEAKER_01: I love it.
- 33:52SPEAKER_02: Thank you.
- 33:53SPEAKER_00: Thank you for being on here.
- 33:54SPEAKER_00: And until next time.
