Latest / Worldview Matters With David Fiorazo / Matthew Maher: Israel vs. Iran - Political Conflict Or Prophetic Plan?
Transcript
- 0:00Welcome to World View Matters, discussing controversial issues, discerning current events,
- 0:10defending biblical Christianity.
- 0:13No topic, off limits.
- 0:16And now, here's your host, David Firazzo.
- 0:20Friends, thank you so much for joining us.
- 0:22Great podcast today.
- 0:23We're ready to unleash with our good friend and brother, author and pastor, Matthew
- 0:29Mayor.
- 0:30And you can go to the website truthovertrend.com, that's truthovertrend.com.
- 0:37He's got some exciting things happening, we're going to bring him right in and have him
- 0:40tell us about it.
- 0:41Brother, good to see you.
- 0:42Thanks for your time.
- 0:43David, thank you as always to you and your audience for the opportunity to address the
- 0:49issues of our day that matter most from a biblical worldview.
- 0:53Your name of your podcast and your show says it all.
- 0:56Praise God.
- 0:57And I occasionally catch you, part of a sermon or part of a talk you're giving or part
- 1:02of a post.
- 1:03I really appreciate your voice.
- 1:06You know, maybe I might not look it, but you're a lot younger than me.
- 1:09And so you're good for the younger generation, good voice, good voice of truth and role
- 1:16model.
- 1:17So I appreciate your voice as a pastor as well.
- 1:19And so thank you for all you do.
- 1:21So before we get into a new devotional that you have out, you've got a new development
- 1:28that just happened in your family.
- 1:30Tell us about it Matthew.
- 1:32Yes.
- 1:33So before we talk about a publication, we of course, my wife and I are celebrating the
- 1:38arrival of our third child, our second son on June 16th.
- 1:43We welcomed Malachi Joseph Mayer to our world and navigating a family of five, even in
- 1:50those few short weeks that we have had him has certainly been different.
- 1:54My wife, I don't know how she does it, but she has been a rock star through and through
- 2:00and being in full-time ministry with plenty of responsibilities in my schedule.
- 2:06I've had to slow down a little bit and tend to the family.
- 2:09That is my primary ministry, my marriage and my family.
- 2:11But yes, everyone says Malachi is my copy and paste and that is also true of my son Ezekiel.
- 2:19And Zeki, we call him, he wanted to name his baby brother Zeke Jr.
- 2:25So he immediately took ownership and I was like, I don't know how that's going to work
- 2:28out.
- 2:29Zeke and Zeke Jr.
- 2:30But hey, he's doing a great job loving on his little baby brother.
- 2:33All right.
- 2:34So Zeke and Malachi, man, you're blessed brother, you're blessed.
- 2:38And by the way, for people that haven't seen you before and maybe our newer viewers, tell
- 2:44us about your church words at and the website where you're preaching.
- 2:47Yes, our church is located in Ocean City, New Jersey.
- 2:51It is called Landmark Church.
- 2:53People can find out more about that at thelandmark.church.
- 2:56Not.org.
- 2:57Not.com.
- 2:58It's dot church.
- 2:59So thelandmark.church has been pastoring here for the past 10 years.
- 3:03It's an amazing community of believers and we're just trying to hold down the fort of
- 3:08truth on the east coast with many other pastors across our land that are ringing the bell
- 3:13of truth and trying to call the church back to that final and firm ground that Jesus established
- 3:20when he said, I will build my Ecclesia.
- 3:23Boy, what you just said, calling the church back, I think there's unfortunately a big portion
- 3:29of the church in America that needs to be called to him in the first place.
- 3:32That's right.
- 3:33They aren't really living and preaching and acting as biblical Christians.
- 3:37But anyway, we've talked about that before.
- 3:40So next, I want to give you props for coming out with a devotional.
- 3:43See what I did there?
- 3:45Well, people don't know yet because they don't know what we're talking about.
- 3:48But you've got a brand new one over at truthovertrend.com.
- 3:51It is Proverbs and Psalms.
- 3:53It's a 365 day devotional.
- 3:56There it is.
- 3:57Tell us about this and this is in a series called Core Conviction Series.
- 4:01Tell us about that.
- 4:02It's book four.
- 4:03Yes.
- 4:04So the Core Conviction Series is exactly what it says.
- 4:08Core Convictions need to be strengthened and bolstered by the truth of God's words.
- 4:12So book number one was entitled, imprisoned by peace.
- 4:15And the subtitle was a view apart.
- 4:18And that is, of course, out of Philippians 4, 6 and 7, where the peace of God guards the
- 4:22heart and mind.
- 4:23So we don't give anxiety, worry, fear or any lie, any access to our hearts and our minds.
- 4:29The Shalom peace of God guards the heart and mind.
- 4:32That is a view apart.
- 4:34And then book number two is called Unchained.
- 4:37And the subtitle is a voice apart.
- 4:39And the inspiration was the word of God is not chained.
- 4:43Paul was chained when he wrote that verse, but the word of God cannot be chained.
- 4:47So that book talks about our voice being set apart to be used by God regardless of our
- 4:53circumstances.
- 4:54Book three is entitled, let us pray, a plea apart.
- 4:59And I took what is I believe wrongly known as the Lord's Prayer, which is Matthew 6.
- 5:05The Lord's Prayer is John 17, right?
- 5:07That's right.
- 5:08So John 17 is the Lord's Prayer.
- 5:10Matthew 6 is our prayer.
- 5:12So I took our prayer as it's prescribed and wrote a prayer book more or less, biblical
- 5:17prayers, how to model prayer and what that looks like in our faith walk.
- 5:23And that's the plea apart.
- 5:24And then book number four stands alone.
- 5:26It's called Props and there was some word plays going on.
- 5:29The subtitle is Proverbs and Psalms apart.
- 5:32And I took the first three letters of Proverbs, P-R-O, and the first two letters of Psalms,
- 5:38P-S. And I put them together because those two books, David, if you were to ask even nonbelievers
- 5:44what their favorite books of the Bible are, they would say Psalms and Proverbs.
- 5:49They're familiar with that.
- 5:50So I wrote a devotional one day at a time where you look at the same Proverb or the same
- 5:55Psalm two days in a row.
- 5:57So day number one, you're looking at that Proverb, I'm giving you biblical commentary on it,
- 6:02but the goal is to contemplate it, to think deeply about it.
- 6:06And then day number two, same exact verse, but now I'm challenging you to cultivate it.
- 6:12So instead of rushing through a 365 day devotional where you're giving a lot of verses, day by
- 6:17day, and those are good.
- 6:18I took my time, I chose choice Proverbs and Psalms, hence props what props us up on our
- 6:26leaning side, like a Bikes kickstand.
- 6:29And we need to be those that lean on the truth of God's Word.
- 6:33So I hope the devotional style reading is helpful to anyone that would be looking for
- 6:39a solid go-to for a jump start to their day.
- 6:44Some, you know, you said it right.
- 6:46Some devotions are good, there are some that, as you say, they just, you know, throw
- 6:50a verse out, talk about it, move on to the next one.
- 6:52I like the way you did that from what you're explaining.
- 6:55So you can get it at truthovertrend.com under books or on Amazon.com, correct?
- 7:02Correct.
- 7:03Yes, thank you so much, David.
- 7:04Yeah, well, you're most welcome.
- 7:06So, so this is a series, this is book four, are you going to book five or when does the
- 7:11series end?
- 7:13It's never ending.
- 7:14It's like scrolling through social media.
- 7:16No, I will conclude with a book five.
- 7:18I have multiple ideas in my mind, and this might shock your audience unless they saw
- 7:24the show we did when you first brought me on.
- 7:26This was months ago that most of these books were written when I was an inmate of the state
- 7:31from 2010 to 2014, which gives rise to that meaning of core conviction.
- 7:38I was an inmate under conviction.
- 7:41But obviously the greater conviction in my life was when the Lord got my undivided
- 7:44attention.
- 7:45So I wrote multiple manuscripts in that season, and I have to choose the fifth and final
- 7:50to the core conviction series.
- 7:52So once I get more time, I'll be able to give my attention to it.
- 7:56So friends, I want to remind you, I just sometimes I do forget.
- 8:00We mentioned it earlier, Matthew's been on before several times, but if you missed his
- 8:05testimony that he shared, may have been the first podcast, if not the first it was
- 8:11the second.
- 8:12But I think it was the first.
- 8:13So go to worldviewmatters.tv and the upper right, if there's a search bar, just type in
- 8:19Matthew Mayer, M-A-H-E-R, and you can get all his episodes there.
- 8:24Go to the first one, amazing story.
- 8:26He was in prison.
- 8:27You can get the whole story on why, what happened, and now look at, he got out really earlier
- 8:33than you thought or than you expected or that was originally planned, right?
- 8:39You got out of prison?
- 8:41Long story short, in New Jersey, the charge that I had came with 85% mandatory time, and
- 8:48the gift of 15% is more or less, if you don't get an intending trouble, then you have an
- 8:54early release.
- 8:55So I did 85% of a five and a half year sentence that was four years and seven months.
- 8:59And again, I would love your listeners, your audience to check that out because saying
- 9:04it like I was in prison, a lot of people might have the wrong impression.
- 9:09Of course, what I did was egregious and terrible, but that's what God allowed and used
- 9:13to get my undivided attention.
- 9:15And of course, we serve a God who redeems.
- 9:18And the way he redeemed my life, it is only the miraculous that can give any explanation
- 9:25to it.
- 9:26Amen, brother.
- 9:27So, yeah, friends, you need to hear the whole story.
- 9:29If you don't know, it is inspiring.
- 9:32It is eye opening and to look what God has done in your life.
- 9:36You are truly a new creation, brother.
- 9:39And he is using you.
- 9:40He chose you to go and bear fruit.
- 9:42I mean, he chooses all of us, right?
- 9:44But you answered the call.
- 9:46A lot of people don't, you know, some people just want to do their own thing.
- 9:50So anyway, good stuff.
- 9:52Anything else before we wrap up the thought here on the new devotional, anything else you
- 9:55want to share for wisdom, I just love, I read a Psalm in a proverb every day.
- 10:00Sometimes I don't get through a whole one.
- 10:02It's proportions, but I'm in that every day before I read it, the New Testament or whatever,
- 10:07whatever else is on your heart about the devotional or Psalms and proverbs.
- 10:11Yes, I'm actually teaching through the book of Psalms during our midweek service on Wednesday
- 10:18evenings and last night was Psalm 27.
- 10:21And I began by stating this, and I think it's applicable to anyone that calls themselves
- 10:26a Christian, that we should discover what the Lord is doing in our hearts first.
- 10:31What is He doing in my life, in my heart?
- 10:33And then partner with the Holy Spirit in that work.
- 10:36Don't delay that work, partner with Him in that work.
- 10:39And then the next layer, every Christian should be looking at what is the Lord doing in
- 10:43my church, my local community, and participate in it.
- 10:47So discover what He's doing in your heart, partner with Him in it, look out at the community
- 10:52that you are part of, see the work that He's doing there, participate in it, and then this
- 10:57is the layer that you address on a daily basis.
- 11:01Look and see what God is doing in the world.
- 11:04And point to it, point other believers to it that we would be brought to the attention
- 11:10of what God is doing in the earth.
- 11:12And I think if the church does those three things from the heart to their local community,
- 11:17to what God is doing globally, there you have the Psalms, Psalm 27 specifically coming
- 11:22to life, regardless of what's happening around us, David.
- 11:25Yeah, and I want to mention, it's very good, there's a lot of wonderful Bible believing
- 11:31Christians.
- 11:33As you know, the biblical worldview is declining.
- 11:35It's like, I mean, the trajectory is not good in America.
- 11:39And in churches, there's a remnant of solid, just God fearing men and women in Christians.
- 11:44However, there is a portion of that group that are serious, doctrinally sound, they're
- 11:49true believers, but they have become consumers in a way, whether that's Christian music,
- 11:56and which is, which a lot of it is turned into entertainment, unfortunately, or whether
- 12:01it's going to conferences.
- 12:02Now, conferences are good.
- 12:03I've spoken at conferences.
- 12:05You have to conferences are good, prophecy conferences, all these different conferences.
- 12:11But you can get wrapped up into that and go into these conferences just to get the
- 12:15head knowledge.
- 12:16And then what are you doing, Christian?
- 12:17What are you doing outside of church, Monday through Saturday?
- 12:21What are you doing outside of the conference in the application of salt and light and what
- 12:26we should be trying to save souls, wake people up?
- 12:29What are your thoughts on that before we move on, Matthew?
- 12:31Yeah.
- 12:32Well, we live in a culture of consumerism, and that is the plague of the American church,
- 12:37right?
- 12:38Feed me more.
- 12:39And it's like, our church can be so spoiled with messages from Sunday to Sunday, from
- 12:43Wednesday to Wednesday, and yet we're not applying that word to our lives.
- 12:47So what do we do?
- 12:48We look online, we sign up for the next conference, for the next seminar, we buy the next book,
- 12:53and you've already said it.
- 12:54We encourage all those avenues, but they're supplemental to the application of our personal
- 12:59faith and our personal Christian walk that, like James wrote, be doers of the word, not
- 13:05hears only.
- 13:06And so many in the church are hears only.
- 13:10And of course, we live in a day and age where when truth is projected and presented from
- 13:15the pulpit, there's a lot of people that are offended by it.
- 13:18And I think that's one of the ways the Lord is purging His bride as of late.
- 13:22So the Bible tells us that we are headed towards a remnant.
- 13:26There's always a remnant, and God never leaves Himself without a witness.
- 13:31And we're living in a day and age where the witness of the church, that voice is getting
- 13:35louder because the times are getting darker and you're seeing people fall by the wayside
- 13:40or go apostate because they can't handle the way the truth is being presented.
- 13:44So we live in incredible times and we need the Bible to be our lens.
- 13:48Amen.
- 13:49And we are here for such a time as this.
- 13:51I know it kind of sounds canned or cliché, but it's so true.
- 13:54I believe it.
- 13:55You can follow.
- 13:56Yeah, Matthew.
- 13:57You can follow Matthew on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, X, YouTube, truth over trend.
- 14:04I've got his Facebook page up here.
- 14:06But before we take a really brief pause and we're going to come back friends.
- 14:10We're going to talk about Israel and Iran and the conflict there.
- 14:13Is it political or is it part of Bible prophecy?
- 14:16We'll talk about that great, very brief, but pointed blog you put up a post on that.
- 14:22I want to mention the devil's playbook because that I still love that book.
- 14:26Brother, you you had me at you had me at the four plays from Nazi Germany currently at
- 14:32play in America, discerning the devil's playbook.
- 14:37It's very short.
- 14:39You guys can get it.
- 14:40Get a couple copies.
- 14:41Give it as a gift.
- 14:42We talked about that a few podcasts ago with Matthew Mayer.
- 14:47So with that, we'll take a break, come back, we'll talk about Israel and Iran that's next.
- 14:52Today's show is brought to you by Harbinger's Daily, world news, biblically understood.
- 14:57Stay informed at harbingerstaley.com.
- 15:01All right, friends.
- 15:09This is an area where Matthew and I were talking before we got on the podcast.
- 15:14He put this out for a reason and I like the fact that more pastors and more churches
- 15:19are talking about this because unfortunately, there is some ignorance and even biblical
- 15:25ignorance on where the church stands when it comes to Israel.
- 15:29Now, I had a guest on last week or a week and a half ago that I didn't agree with all
- 15:34of his views.
- 15:35I saw that.
- 15:37Yeah, you know, so there were some things where we don't always see eye to eye, but I personally
- 15:41believe unless it's egregious and not if they agree on the essentials of the faith, I
- 15:48don't believe in breaking fellowship.
- 15:50I still call them brother, but I say, okay, we'll see who's right about this.
- 15:55God's right, ultimately, but these are things we need to discuss.
- 15:59So where it comes to Israel, what we believe, Matthew, is we should support the God's
- 16:06chosen people because it's biblical, Old Testament, New Testament.
- 16:10But the politics, the government of Israel, it is a secular nation, not everything they
- 16:16do, we're going to get behind because it's just that would be ridiculous, you know, not
- 16:20everything they do.
- 16:21So let's just start by pointing people to your post that you put up at the end of June.
- 16:27All versus Iran, political conflict or prophetic plans is very prophetic because as, you know,
- 16:33biblical, a coalition of nations around Israel that surrounds her, they're going to invade
- 16:38Israel at some point.
- 16:39We know this is going to happen.
- 16:40So talk to us about before we dive into just some of the things I want to bring out
- 16:44from this post, just share your heart on this and what you've been hearing from Christians
- 16:48in your sphere of influence.
- 16:51Yeah, so I try to address any of the current issues of our day from a biblical worldview.
- 16:57I am a big advocate on not looking at these headlines and trying to fit them into scripture
- 17:04because there's plenty of headlines to go around.
- 17:07That is not what we are called to do.
- 17:09But we are to look to the scriptures to help us define the headlines.
- 17:13And Jesus being our master, he tells us in Matthew 24, he actually traces the age that
- 17:20bleeds into or leads into the end of the days.
- 17:24And when you put other prophetic pieces of the puzzle together and you take what Jesus
- 17:28said about contractions, and obviously I just was in the delivery room a couple of weeks
- 17:33ago.
- 17:34And I don't think I need to say this, but who do you think felt the contractions the most
- 17:39in that delivery room?
- 17:40Yeah.
- 17:41Probably your wife.
- 17:42That's right.
- 17:43My bride.
- 17:44My bride.
- 17:45And that's the point.
- 17:46The bride of Christ should be more sensitive to the contractions of our day that are leading
- 17:52to with more intensity in a greater interval to the soon delivery.
- 17:58So that's what we're watching on the world stage.
- 18:00We're watching all of these prophetic pieces come together.
- 18:04You just had Pastor Mondo on and I love what he said.
- 18:07He said there's a difference between chosen and saved.
- 18:11And what I do with with my church is I focus more on and get this.
- 18:16The God of Israel.
- 18:18We put a lot of emphasis on Israel and that's fine because there's a prophetic plan that
- 18:23has yet to be fulfilled that will save a remnant, one third of Israel in the end times.
- 18:32However, if we spend more time talking about the God of Israel, the God that will see this
- 18:37plan through, the God that does not forsake his covenant, the God that started a work
- 18:43through Abraham.
- 18:44And that's the Abrahamic covenant where there is a right to that land because God gave
- 18:50it to them.
- 18:51So right away, the interesting super sign was May 14th, 1948 that has never happened in
- 18:59human history.
- 19:00Exactly.
- 19:01That a people group that were seemingly dispersed and gone, the Hebrew language seemingly
- 19:04dead, they were all of a sudden back in their land, that fulfilled scripture.
- 19:10So we're not too far from that.
- 19:12When we look at that and all of the surrounding nations, including Iran, that are converging
- 19:18on them.
- 19:19Now, right away, when you understand the spiritual realm, these aren't left or right
- 19:23talking points.
- 19:24These are up or down.
- 19:26And I know Bible.
- 19:27And if God has a people whose name is Israel and that name means governed by God, the name
- 19:33alone would be enough for the enemy, the devil, to want to destroy them.
- 19:38As he knows, if he can destroy Israel, if he can wipe her off the map, which he'll
- 19:43never be able to do because God put her on the map, then he can stop Jesus from returning.
- 19:49So why he tried to stop Israel in the beginning before Jesus came the first time, and that
- 19:54is why there's an emphasis and an aggressiveness, what we call anti-semitism against Jews and
- 20:02Israel specifically.
- 20:03So so many thoughts that I have about what's happening in the Middle East because the Bible
- 20:07gives us the blueprint, the template.
- 20:09And if you stick to that and you get caught up in all the politics, and unfortunately, you
- 20:14had that interview between Tucker Carlson and Ted Cruz that went viral and you had two
- 20:20individuals who were who are biblically illiterate, right?
- 20:25So Ted Cruz didn't know why or where that verse in Genesis and Tucker called him out on
- 20:32that is like it's in Genesis.
- 20:33And I washed it over and over and I'm like, yeah, that's right.
- 20:36But there's context to that.
- 20:37And you follow that thread through the word of God and it leads to the New Testament and
- 20:41then it leads to the Apostle Paul writing in Romans 9, chapter 9, 11.
- 20:45And then you look at the Old Testament prophecies that are yet to be fulfilled, including Zachariah
- 20:50chapters 12 to 14.
- 20:51You look at Ezekiel chapter 38 and you watch all of these prophetic puzzle pieces coming
- 20:57together and you look at God's prophetic plan coming to fruition, which is in spite of
- 21:03Israel, that secular political state.
- 21:06So that's one angle.
- 21:08The other angle is every Christian should know Romans 13.
- 21:12Romans 13 is the flagship passage, David, that gives us God's definition for government
- 21:19who God calls His servant, His minister.
- 21:24I'm a minister of the gospel, but government has a unique role and the government of every
- 21:30nation that is civilized has been granted the sword.
- 21:33And the sword is law enforcement, is military enforcement.
- 21:39So that is the reason why nations don't easily invade other nations.
- 21:43Even though that happens, it's because those nation states have been granted by God,
- 21:48the sword.
- 21:49So that's what really spurred this on is those nation states that are surrounding Israel
- 21:53attempting to destroy her, who is the leading sponsor of terrorism, it's Iran.
- 21:59And all the proxies that surrounded Israel for the past several decades have sought
- 22:04to destroy her.
- 22:05And what is she done?
- 22:06She has just protected her right to exist.
- 22:09And at the end of the day, no one will be able to destroy her because God's plan is not
- 22:13done with her.
- 22:14Amen.
- 22:15And brother, yeah, you mentioned that exchange with Ted Cruz and Tucker Carlson.
- 22:22And I thought about playing it at the beginning of this podcast or before we started talking
- 22:27about it, but it is so maddening, you're there going, no, I mean, there is just ignorance
- 22:32on both sides and these men profess biblical Christianity and I don't know their hearts.
- 22:39But as far as their knowledge and their understanding of scripture, there's a problem.
- 22:44As you mentioned, they are so, they're influential, they're both well known.
- 22:49I like both of these men, but now Tucker Carlson has taken a different angle.
- 22:54It seems maybe an anti-Semitic angle, but let's talk about the article that you wrote.
- 23:00You said, you mentioned the Persian people and you mentioned there are beautiful people.
- 23:05They have suffered under this tyrannical rule since 1979.
- 23:10Did that have something to do with Jimmy Carter or something anyway?
- 23:15Anyway, so you mentioned, you know, it's not the whole country, but you put, whenever
- 23:20you have something governed by a demonic religion or something like radical Islam, you're gone.
- 23:27The people are going to suffer and go ahead, I'll let you just share whatever you want.
- 23:31We're already down to four minutes, my goodness.
- 23:33Yeah, Islamism is not just an ideology, it's a doctrine of demons.
- 23:39It does not, in the American context, get this David, we have Americans who are yelling
- 23:45at the top of their lungs for separation of church and state, right?
- 23:49That's the lie that we've been fed.
- 23:52Meanwhile, Islamism, which is welcomed into the halls of government in America.
- 23:57You're seeing more Islamic individuals running for office, and that's another podcast we
- 24:02could do about what's happening in New York City, but my point is this, nobody calls them
- 24:06out for separation of state and mosque, no, it's because they are one and the same.
- 24:14They're not just an ideology, they're not just the political framework, they are religious
- 24:18framework.
- 24:19And then when you have that tyrannical, demonic governance, then people underneath of it
- 24:24will be oppressed.
- 24:25And yes, the Persian people are a Bible people.
- 24:29God used the nation state of Persia to be a protector upon his chosen people, Israel.
- 24:35And you see that with Cyrus, you see that with Doraius, some say Darius, but God always
- 24:41uses these world leaders to fulfill his plan.
- 24:45And I always say, regardless of that leader, because people will say, well, what about Trump
- 24:51or what about Netanyahu?
- 24:52It's like God is able to even use unrighteous rulers to accomplish his righteous rule in
- 24:59the earth.
- 25:00So Iran, since 1979, has been oppressive to her own people and has sought to destroy
- 25:09and they chant and their proxies chant.
- 25:11And I think there's a correlation here, death to America, death to Israel.
- 25:16And I think we should finally take them at their word.
- 25:19And that has bled into America.
- 25:21I'd love to write a part two to discerning the devil's playbook, because in that book
- 25:24you kind of see Nazism and how it has been repackaged in progressivism.
- 25:30But I think you had an episode recently, David, that made the cross reference to Islamism.
- 25:36And you're like, none of these ideologies have anything in common.
- 25:39Yet why are they partnering with each other?
- 25:41Why is Islamism and progressiveism partnering with each other?
- 25:45Well, it's because they have a common enemy.
- 25:47And that enemy is anything that represents God, anything that they think represents Jesus
- 25:52Christ.
- 25:53They are anti-Christ.
- 25:54So I kind of went away from the original blog, but I think it's all related in the
- 25:58green scheme of the spiritual war.
- 26:00Well, you referred to Trevor Loudon.
- 26:02I talked to it with Ken Michael.
- 26:05He talks about the red green axis.
- 26:07It's Islam or communism in Islam or Islam in progressivism.
- 26:12And strange bedfellows.
- 26:13But then you put the LGBTQ in that, supporting that, and they're going, do you know what they
- 26:17believe about homosexuality?
- 26:19And you have strange bedfellows.
- 26:21But I want to read, you referred to Genesis 17, 17, and I don't know how many times the
- 26:28Bible talks about this everlasting covenant.
- 26:31That's right.
- 26:32Everlasting.
- 26:33It says, I will establish my covenant between me and you and your descendants after you
- 26:38throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant to be God to you and to your descendants
- 26:45after you.
- 26:46And then it goes on.
- 26:47I will give you the land.
- 26:48And that's Genesis 17, 7, 8.
- 26:51But Matthew, we've got, oh, less than a minute.
- 26:54If you can just kind of just share your final thoughts in a couple seconds, I guess, sorry
- 26:57about that.
- 26:58We ran out of time quickly here.
- 27:01It always happens this way.
- 27:02The everlasting covenant is binding because God made it with Himself.
- 27:06He made the covenant with Himself.
- 27:07He cannot break it.
- 27:08He has to fulfill His plan.
- 27:10I often say unredeemed Israel.
- 27:12That might help your audience.
- 27:13Unredeemed Israel, which means He's bringing her to a redemptive conclusion.
- 27:18Jeremiah chapter 31 also says, if you can change the sun, the moon and the stars from
- 27:23orbiting, that's the day that I will cease my promise for the house of Israel.
- 27:28So so much more to be said, David, you always do a phenomenal job, bringing on the right
- 27:32guests to bring a biblical worldview.
- 27:33I appreciate it so much.
- 27:35Well, thank you.
- 27:36You're one of them.
- 27:37And you end that article.
- 27:38You say don't be fooled by talking heads, stick to God's unchanging word, truthovertrend.com.
- 27:45Brother, Matthew, thank you so much again.
- 27:48All right, guys.
- 27:49God bless you guys.
- 27:50Thank you so much.
- 27:51Yes.
- 27:52Thanks, Matthew.
- 27:53We're sharing the podcast.
- 27:54And as always, keep speaking the truth about things that matter.
