  Speaker 1: there's something the old folks will say, the Lord to

  Speaker 1: keep those that want to be kept. We need the

  Speaker 1: Lord to keep us in this day and age where

  Speaker 1: life is life in, and the way that the economy
• 0:20
  Speaker 1: is and what's going on politics, And we need the
• 0:24
  Speaker 1: Lord to keep us, to keep our minds when we
• 0:27
  Speaker 1: get weary. So that's what we're going to pray about

  Speaker 1: on today, Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ,

  Speaker 1: we come before you today with open hearts and to
• 0:34
  Speaker 1: be honest, God, we got weary soul. You know us,
• 0:37
  Speaker 1: You know us better than we even know ourselves. So
• 0:40
  Speaker 1: we don't come to you pretending to be anything. You

  Speaker 1: see what nobody else sees, the thoughts that race through
• 0:46
  Speaker 1: our minds, the burdens we carry, and silence the fears
• 0:51
  Speaker 1: we try the hard to bury deeper hide the Lord.

  Speaker 1: You never turn away from us. You are the keeper
• 0:58
  Speaker 1: of our souls, guardian of our hearts. Lord, we're asking

  Speaker 1: you today keep us, keep us, God, keep our hearts

  Speaker 1: from growing hard in a world that's continually wounding us.

  Speaker 1: Keep it tender in your hands, teachable, humble, and kind.

  Speaker 1: Let it be with compassion, Let it echo your love.

  Speaker 1: Don't let bitterness find a place to rue. Don't let

  Speaker 1: unforgiveness take hold. Instead, fill every corner of our hearts

  Speaker 1: with your spirit, that we can love like you love

  Speaker 1: and live like you lead us to. Oh Father, God,

  Speaker 1: keep our minds when anxiety tries to steal our peace. God,

  Speaker 1: when confusion clouds our thoughts, when doubt whispers lies in

  Speaker 1: the stillness. Lord, cover our minds with the helmet of salvation.

  Speaker 1: Let every thought bow before Jesus Christ. Replace our worry

  Speaker 1: with worship. God. Silence the noise of fear with the

  Speaker 1: sound of your truth in the world of God. Let

  Speaker 1: and peer and lovely and praise worthy. God, let your

  Speaker 1: word be the loudest voice in our lives. Let us

  Speaker 1: clearly hear you. God. You said in your word that

  Speaker 1: your sheep hear your voice, or the stranger they will

  Speaker 1: not follow. You said you would keep us in perfect
• 2:22
  Speaker 1: peace when we keep our minds stayed on You. So

  Speaker 1: help us God, to fix our eyes on you. Even

  Speaker 1: when the winds blow, even when we don't understand, even

  Speaker 1: when everything around us feels uncertain, You are not shaken,

  Speaker 1: You are not caught by surprise. God. You are our rock,

  Speaker 1: You are our refuge, You are our shelter and our strength. Lord.

  Speaker 1: We don't want to just be kept from harm, God,

  Speaker 1: we want to be kept close to you. Hold us

  Speaker 1: in the shadow of your wings. God, Wrap us in

  Speaker 1: when we fear a life slipping. Catch us. By your grace. God,

  Speaker 1: you're able to keep us from falling in to present

  Speaker 1: us faultless with great joy. Thank you, Jesus, You are

  Speaker 1: the lifting of our heads today. God, in every day forward,

  Speaker 1: we surrender our hearts and our minds in too your hands.

  Speaker 1: Let them be instruments of your glory. Keep us in

  Speaker 1: your love and your peace and your will. God, in
