- 0:00Speaker 1: Tampa Bay's best music is Magic, 94.9.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Welcome to a new episode of Scotty and Abby Unfiltered.
- 0:07Speaker 3: I'm excited to be able to share the crazy way
- 0:09Speaker 3: my brain works for this relationship. I'll get to that
- 0:12Speaker 3: in just a second, but we do got to update
- 0:13Speaker 3: the fam on the latest rejection that I got since
- 0:16Speaker 3: we've been talking so much about just how this week
- 0:18Speaker 3: has just turned into a ton of rejection.
- 0:20Speaker 1: What happened?
- 0:21Speaker 2: Well, of course we know about the Warren Sapp situation.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Yeah, let's talk about it again.
- 0:25Speaker 2: No, no, no. I'm not trying to rehash that one.
- 0:27Speaker 1: Hey, remember when you approached Bucks legend Warren Sapp and
- 0:30Speaker 1: he said, you're going to talk to a grown man
- 0:32Speaker 1: like that?
- 0:33Speaker 3: And he used his son as an example of like,
- 0:34Speaker 3: I would never let my son talk to a grown man.
- 0:37Speaker 1: Then he started calling you a bunch of homophobic slurs.
- 0:39Speaker 2: I forgot about that.
- 0:40Speaker 1: No, I'm just kidding. That never happened. I'm making that up.
- 0:41Speaker 2: I'm making that up.
- 0:42Speaker 1: That never happened.
- 0:43Speaker 3: What's so crazy is we could touch on it for
- 0:45Speaker 3: just a second. It's like as soon as this situation happened,
- 0:47Speaker 3: all of a sudden his name is everywhere in Tampa
- 0:50Speaker 3: Bay News.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Yeah, because he's suing Tampa.
- 0:51Speaker 2: He's suing the city. The city.
- 0:53Speaker 1: What's he suing Tampa for?
- 0:55Speaker 3: Apparently some First Amendment thing where he was sitting in
- 0:58Speaker 3: a public building and they were trying to get him
- 1:01Speaker 3: to leave and he wouldn't leave.
- 1:02Speaker 2: It was a whole bunch of back and forth. Like
- 1:05Speaker 2: he has it up on his Instagram.
- 1:06Speaker 1: He's suing them because he had to leave?
- 1:08Speaker 3: Like they're forcing him out. Like he wasn't allowed to
- 1:10Speaker 3: use his First Amendment or something like that. That is
- 1:12Speaker 3: a very loose interpretation of what happened. I was listening
- 1:14Speaker 3: to him talk about it on a John Sunning show.
- 1:17Speaker 3: Our neighbors across the hall.
- 1:18Speaker 2: Yeah. I didn't really understand. It didn't really make a
- 1:20Speaker 2: lot of sense. They even had an attorney on talking
- 1:22Speaker 2: about it. I don't know. It just seems, from the
- 1:26Speaker 2: outside looking in, it seems like he is a pot stirrer.
- 1:30Speaker 3: Like, he just wants to stir the pot. He goes in,
- 1:33Speaker 3: he gets confrontational, he stirs the pot.
- 1:35Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:35Speaker 2: That could be wrong. I could be completely misspeaking just
- 1:38Speaker 2: from the outside looking in. That's what it looks like.
- 1:39Speaker 1: He's just a rich old man who's just a little bored.
- 1:43Speaker 3: Yeah, like, I know he has some strong opinions on,
- 1:44Speaker 3: of course, using his First Amendment, of course, speaking up
- 1:47Speaker 3: for the youth, and of course, keeping, like, kids, especially
- 1:50Speaker 3: in the African-American community, safe. I know he speaks on
- 1:53Speaker 3: that a lot. And I also recognize, based off of
- 1:57Speaker 3: the video that he even shared, it just seems like
- 2:01Speaker 3: sometimes he's there for a little trouble.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Okay, so I'm asking Dr. GPT, I said, give me
- 2:06Speaker 1: a quick summary on why Warren Sapp is suing Tampa.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Warren Sapp is suing the city of Tampa over a
- 2:11Speaker 1: First Amendment dispute at City Hall. Sapp says he went
- 2:15Speaker 1: there on September 17th to pick up paperwork the same
- 2:17Speaker 1: day When did we see him?
- 2:19Speaker 2: Oh my God. 18th.
- 2:21Speaker 1: See, he was just in a mood that weekend.
- 2:22Speaker 2: He was PMSing, but you know what makes me so okay.
- 2:25Speaker 3: Now you're going to get me all going again, literally.
- 2:27Speaker 3: And we're talking about, I was on John sending show
- 2:29Speaker 3: talking about this.
- 2:30Speaker 2: John walked over. And again, he was moments away from
- 2:32Speaker 2: getting ripped apart too.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:34Speaker 2: But he like gave John like a smile and a laugh.
- 2:37Speaker 1: And I'm like, he might know John or maybe they've
- 2:39Speaker 1: met before.
- 2:40Speaker 2: No, they never met. He just said he's with the bone.
- 2:42Speaker 2: He's like, Oh, you with the bone fan.
- 2:43Speaker 1: We're good.
- 2:43Speaker 2: We're good. I'm like, And that's what I said to John.
- 2:45Speaker 2: I was like, what?
- 2:46Speaker 3: Just because I didn't say I'm on a radio station,
- 2:48Speaker 3: I'm not good enough? Just because I'm just one of
- 2:50Speaker 3: your fans? And I was kind of joking on the air,
- 2:52Speaker 3: but it's true. I don't want to always lead with
- 2:54Speaker 3: what I do. Who I am, why is that not enough?
- 2:57Speaker 1: Yeah, welcome to the entertainment industry, Scott.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Welcome to the NFL.
- 3:01Speaker 1: People shout, yeah, welcome to the NFL. It's your welcome
- 3:04Speaker 1: to the NFL moment. Okay, so he went to City
- 3:06Speaker 1: Hall to pick up paperwork, but during a city council meeting,
- 3:10Speaker 1: officials accused people in nearby offices of being disruptive. called
- 3:14Speaker 1: police and had Sapp removed and said that he trespassed
- 3:19Speaker 1: for the day. Sapp claims that the city violated his
- 3:21Speaker 1: constitutional rights by preventing him from accessing and petitioning his
- 3:25Speaker 1: local government. He's seeking damages and a declaration that the
- 3:29Speaker 1: city violated his rights. Tampa officials have declined to comment
- 3:32Speaker 1: because the case is currently pending.
- 3:37Speaker 3: You know what's sad about it is because it's like,
- 3:39Speaker 3: It just tarnishes your name in the Tampa Bay area.
- 3:42Speaker 2: Like, this city loves you. Or loves you.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Probably.
- 3:44Speaker 2: Well, you know what's interesting? There's a lot of people
- 3:46Speaker 2: in the comments recognize that he's an a-hole.
- 3:48Speaker 1: It is funny how many people have stories about him
- 3:51Speaker 1: being a problem, I guess you could say.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Problematic, for sure.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Not friendly. I'm just wondering, where is the footage of
- 4:00Speaker 1: him allegedly being disruptive?
- 4:02Speaker 3: I think it's on his Instagram. He has a video
- 4:04Speaker 3: on his Instagram. It popped up in my feed. Coincidentally.
- 4:07Speaker 1: Was he being disruptive in your opinion?
- 4:09Speaker 3: In that opinion, no. He was just sitting with the video.
- 4:11Speaker 3: That's from his perspective. He was just sitting there, had
- 4:13Speaker 3: his video camera recording all the people telling.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Him to get out. And he's like, I'm not doing
- 4:17Speaker 2: anything wrong. I can sit here. It's a public building.
- 4:18Speaker 2: I can sit here.
- 4:20Speaker 3: I don't know that what happened before. And I don't
- 4:22Speaker 3: know the, I would love to talk and they would
- 4:24Speaker 3: never comment on it. But like the cops in that
- 4:25Speaker 3: room that are like, yeah, what happened that got you
- 4:28Speaker 3: guys to want to kick them out?
- 4:30Speaker 1: Release the footage. Yeah.
- 4:31Speaker 2: Like for real. Cause it's one entertaining, but two, I
- 4:34Speaker 2: just need to have the full story. Because why else
- 4:36Speaker 2: would you want to sue?
- 4:37Speaker 3: Why would you be getting kicked out if you weren't
- 4:39Speaker 3: doing something wrong is my question. Yeah.
- 4:41Speaker 2: If I was a lawyer.
- 4:42Speaker 1: That's why he's suing.
- 4:44Speaker 2: I guess so.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Because he's like, that wasn't fair.
- 4:46Speaker 2: It is crazy.
- 4:46Speaker 3: So many people have popped off in the comments are like,
- 4:49Speaker 3: my five-year-old, I just read one as I was getting coffee.
- 4:52Speaker 3: My five-year-old waved at him and he got mad at us.
- 4:55Speaker 3: And I guess the five-year-old, it was like a five-year-old
- 4:57Speaker 3: little girl wearing his jersey. And I guess he was
- 4:59Speaker 3: a complete jerk.
- 5:00Speaker 2: I'm like, who's mean to a five-year-old? Like, that's something...
- 5:05Speaker 2: You're just mean. I don't know. I wonder where that started.
- 5:08Speaker 2: When did it start that you just became this mean man?
- 5:12Speaker 1: It's probably, in my opinion, it could have to do
- 5:15Speaker 1: with the fact that he's been sacked a million times. like, tackled.
- 5:18Speaker 2: Oh, like, literally hitting his head against it?
- 5:20Speaker 1: Brain injuries. I mean, that's a thing in football players.
- 5:22Speaker 3: There was a reporter on ABC that I was watching
- 5:24Speaker 3: his interview with him, and he asked him, he's like,
- 5:26Speaker 3: do you think you have any, like, mental, like, issues
- 5:28Speaker 3: and mental problems?
- 5:29Speaker 1: You talk to a grown man like that?
- 5:30Speaker 2: Gosh, you scared me. Trauma.
- 5:33Speaker 3: Oh, no. Oh, no.
- 5:36Speaker 2: But then he kind of made jokes about it, but
- 5:38Speaker 2: he was like, well, I don't know. I wake up fine.
- 5:39Speaker 2: I'm fine. I feel fine. I'm like, I don't know.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Sounds like something somebody with CTE would say.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Like, how do you know, though? Like, how do you know?
- 5:47Speaker 1: I don't think you do know. I think that's the
- 5:48Speaker 1: problem is this is, like, a new discovery. Although, didn't
- 5:51Speaker 1: they do an autopsy on a bunch of NFL players and, like,
- 5:55Speaker 1: 98% of people who played in the NFL have CTE?
- 5:57Speaker 2: I can't imagine how you couldn't. You're literally smashing your
- 5:59Speaker 2: head over and over again.
- 6:01Speaker 1: But it is crazy. Like, some people seem fine. Like,
- 6:03Speaker 1: Travis Kelsey, when I see interviews of him or see
- 6:05Speaker 1: him and Jason do their podcast, they seem hysterical and
- 6:08Speaker 1: very with it.
- 6:09Speaker 2: That's a good point.
- 6:10Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 6:10Speaker 2: I guess it's kind of like, well... Again, I'm not
- 6:13Speaker 2: a doctor. It's kind of like a disease. Like, it
- 6:14Speaker 2: doesn't hit everybody. But, I mean, you're in that environment
- 6:17Speaker 2: where it could really, the numbers are a lot higher.
- 6:20Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:20Speaker 2: So I don't know, because what is the, oh, God,
- 6:24Speaker 2: I lost my train of thought. But, yeah, like, they're fine.
- 6:26Speaker 2: They talk very eloquently. Like, no problems there. But I
- 6:30Speaker 2: never saw that. Do you ever see that movie, that
- 6:31Speaker 2: concussion movie? It came out. It was a big football movie.
- 6:34Speaker 1: The Blind Side?
- 6:35Speaker 2: No, that was. That was a heartfelt movie.
- 6:38Speaker 1: I love that movie.
- 6:39Speaker 2: The other one, it was like a Jordan Peele film.
- 6:41Speaker 1: You remember? No.
- 6:42Speaker 2: Okay, I'm going to try to watch that over the weekend.
- 6:44Speaker 1: Get Out?
- 6:45Speaker 2: No, it was like his fourth movie.
- 6:46Speaker 1: I don't think that's a concussion. That's a sunny place.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Look it up on chat. I'm telling you, there's another
- 6:49Speaker 2: one from Jordan Peele called Concussion.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Okay, I'll look it up.
- 6:51Speaker 2: Because that one, I think it's about that.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:53Speaker 2: But it takes it in like a horror direction.
- 6:55Speaker 1: No, but it's like a big deal. Getting a concussion
- 6:57Speaker 1: is no joke.
- 6:58Speaker 2: I've luckily never had. Have you ever had a concussion?
- 6:59Speaker 2: I've never had a concussion.
- 7:00Speaker 1: No.
- 7:01Speaker 2: At least not that I know of.
- 7:01Speaker 1: You know what's funny, though? I started getting really bad
- 7:03Speaker 1: migraines my senior year. And I thought because I was
- 7:07Speaker 1: a cheerleader, I was like, I must be concussed because
- 7:09Speaker 1: I didn't really know what a migraine was. And so
- 7:11Speaker 1: I think I had to explain it to a coach
- 7:12Speaker 1: or something. I'm like, yeah, I think I was doing
- 7:14Speaker 1: somersaults because I started getting migraines after that. I'm like, yeah,
- 7:17Speaker 1: I think I got a concussion from. Yeah.
- 7:21Speaker 2: But I take these pills.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Yeah. I was like, I think I was just having
- 7:24Speaker 1: a migraine.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Yeah, probably. I don't know. Like in football, I play
- 7:27Speaker 2: football through high school. I have no idea.
- 7:30Speaker 3: I don't know if maybe me like mildly concussed at
- 7:32Speaker 3: some points, but never concussed.
- 7:34Speaker 2: I don't think.
- 7:35Speaker 1: You might have CTE.
- 7:36Speaker 2: I don't think so.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Makes a lot of sense.
- 7:37Speaker 2: Kidding.
- 7:40Speaker 3: They could probably scan you and be like, all right,
- 7:43Speaker 3: we could tell there's signs here.
- 7:44Speaker 1: You know what I would like for them to do
- 7:46Speaker 1: for us here at the station is I would love
- 7:48Speaker 1: to get a comped prenuvo scan.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Just like check. There's got to be something wrong.
- 7:55Speaker 2: You want to know something?
- 7:55Speaker 3: Actually, I'm going to talk about this openly because it
- 7:57Speaker 3: is kind of a concern of mine.
- 7:59Speaker 2: Oh. Just openly. I'm not saying there's anything wrong. I'm
- 8:02Speaker 2: not even like.
- 8:04Speaker 3: We all notice things in our body and sometimes we think, hmm,
- 8:06Speaker 3: I hope there's not actually something there.
- 8:08Speaker 2: I say that because of that scan.
- 8:10Speaker 3: One of the things I want to do with this
- 8:11Speaker 3: radio station is like we do ads for like heart scans.
- 8:14Speaker 3: I want to scan my heart because as I've been
- 8:17Speaker 3: training for this 100 miler and like I'm running more again,
- 8:20Speaker 3: this again, I'm fine.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Everything's fine.
- 8:23Speaker 1: It's almost like running 100 miles isn't normal.
- 8:25Speaker 3: Well, I'm not that distant yet. Like I'm just doing
- 8:27Speaker 3: like five and six milers.
- 8:29Speaker 1: But.
- 8:30Speaker 3: There's sometimes, like, this sharp pain I get in my chest, like,
- 8:32Speaker 3: right above my heart. And sometimes I think, okay, maybe
- 8:35Speaker 3: that's just gas. You know, that's what I've been told
- 8:37Speaker 3: for a long time. Like, maybe just a little gas.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:39Speaker 3: But the fact that it happens every time, I'm like, hmm,
- 8:42Speaker 3: maybe a little weird. And I know if my dad
- 8:44Speaker 3: ever hears this, he's going to be so upset. But
- 8:47Speaker 3: that's why I'm going to go get checked. I just
- 8:48Speaker 3: want to make sure everything's good.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:49Speaker 3: Because he made me, my dad, when I went and
- 8:51Speaker 3: did my first Ironman. He was like, you will absolutely
- 8:54Speaker 3: go get a full physical. Make sure everything's okay before
- 8:57Speaker 3: you go and do a distance like that.
- 8:58Speaker 1: That's my man, Steve. I know.
- 8:59Speaker 2: He's always looking out for his boy.
- 9:01Speaker 3: But that concern popped up in my head because I'm like,
- 9:03Speaker 3: why do I keep getting the same little... It's a
- 9:04Speaker 3: little sharp pain and it's always over my heart. And
- 9:07Speaker 3: I'm like, that would suck. And then, of course, your
- 9:10Speaker 3: brain goes to worst case scenarios like you got a
- 9:11Speaker 3: hole in my heart or some crap like that.
- 9:13Speaker 1: I don't think you have a hole in your heart.
- 9:14Speaker 2: I don't think so either. But I just hope it's
- 9:15Speaker 2: nothing like actually, you know. But I don't know until
- 9:18Speaker 2: I get a scan.
- 9:18Speaker 1: You never know.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Those are the things, though.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Or you might just be running out of oxygen because
- 9:23Speaker 1: you're running so much.
- 9:25Speaker 2: Jesus, that sounds scary.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Well, I mean, like, you know, your heart's like, hey,
- 9:28Speaker 1: we need more oxygen.
- 9:29Speaker 3: Well, what I was thinking is like, okay, it's obviously training.
- 9:31Speaker 3: It's getting stronger. And maybe it's just not at that
- 9:34Speaker 3: strength yet.
- 9:35Speaker 1: I mean, it's also your heart's a muscle. It could
- 9:37Speaker 1: just be a muscle cramp.
- 9:38Speaker 2: It could be. I'm glad. I'll go get some.
- 9:41Speaker 1: I don't know. I didn't go to med school.
- 9:42Speaker 2: You didn't go to med school.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Hey, don't look at me like that. I was going
- 9:47Speaker 1: to be a dentist.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Were you really?
- 9:49Speaker 1: Yeah, I was like, it's so funny that my best
- 9:51Speaker 1: friend from college is a dentist because my dream job
- 9:54Speaker 1: for years was to be a dentist. And then I
- 9:56Speaker 1: can't remember when it changed. But one day I was
- 9:58Speaker 1: just like, yeah.
- 9:58Speaker 2: No, you just. no. Why did you want to originally?
- 10:02Speaker 1: I think I just really liked my dentist as a kid.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Like I just for some reason thought going to the
- 10:05Speaker 1: dentist was super cool because I've never understood why people
- 10:08Speaker 1: are scared of the dentist. I'm like, it's objectively the
- 10:10Speaker 1: least scary doctor. I'm afraid of going to the regular
- 10:13Speaker 1: doctor because they could be like, hey, we saw this
- 10:15Speaker 1: biomarker on your blood scan. Meanwhile, what are they going
- 10:17Speaker 1: to do with the dentist? Tell me I have a cavity?
- 10:19Speaker 2: Oh, no.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Too many sweet tweets.
- 10:22Speaker 2: I used to love the dentist. I don't love the
- 10:24Speaker 2: dentist anymore.
- 10:25Speaker 1: I don't love it anymore, but I don't hate it.
- 10:27Speaker 3: I don't like it because a tooth pain, it is
- 10:31Speaker 3: a shock to your system. I can hurt my elbow,
- 10:33Speaker 3: and it's okay.
- 10:34Speaker 2: It's annoying.
- 10:35Speaker 3: But if you ever go to the dentist and they're
- 10:37Speaker 3: doing that little drill, they're just kind of scraping the
- 10:41Speaker 3: plaque or whatever, and some of us have sensitive teeth,
- 10:44Speaker 3: and so there's a spot in my mouth.
- 10:45Speaker 2: There's a spot in my mouth. That you hit, and
- 10:48Speaker 2: it's like the most painful moment ever.
- 10:52Speaker 1: It's your T-spot.
- 10:53Speaker 2: It's my T-spot. And that one doesn't bring me pleasure.
- 10:58Speaker 2: That one sucks. Like, that's what I suck about.
- 11:00Speaker 3: Like, I want to actually switch dentists, but the reason
- 11:03Speaker 3: I stay is because the hygienists that I go and see,
- 11:05Speaker 3: they now have seen me enough where they know that.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 11:08Speaker 2: I don't want to coach somebody new and then have
- 11:09Speaker 2: somebody be like, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, it's fine, and
- 11:11Speaker 2: then hit it.
- 11:13Speaker 1: I know. That's why I haven't been to the dentist
- 11:14Speaker 1: since I got my veneers. Because I'm like, I need
- 11:16Speaker 1: someone to know what they're doing.
- 11:17Speaker 3: I was going to say, how often does it the
- 11:19Speaker 3: same amount of times that you have to go if
- 11:21Speaker 3: you have veneers? I don't know.
- 11:22Speaker 1: I haven't been since I got them.
- 11:23Speaker 2: How long ago did you get them?
- 11:24Speaker 1: Three years. Three and a half years ago.
- 11:26Speaker 2: I would say it's probably time to get back.
- 11:27Speaker 1: It's probably time, but I'm fine.
- 11:28Speaker 2: Whatever.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, right?
- 11:30Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 11:31Speaker 1: I don't notice anything weird.
- 11:32Speaker 2: What would you notice weird, though?
- 11:34Speaker 1: Like your gums are bleeding, tooth pain.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Do you floss with veneers?
- 11:37Speaker 1: Yeah, I floss. You can do anything. Like, I don't know.
- 11:41Speaker 1: I don't think about the fact that I have veneers
- 11:42Speaker 1: until I, like, see a photo and I go, oh,
- 11:44Speaker 1: thank God I got those things.
- 11:45Speaker 2: You're like, dang, look at that smile.
- 11:46Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm like, thank God.
- 11:48Speaker 2: It is cool to see.
- 11:49Speaker 3: How many people have them because you start seeing people
- 11:52Speaker 3: in the industry or people that, like, maybe have, like,
- 11:54Speaker 3: I don't know, finally, like, stepped up in their career
- 11:56Speaker 3: or wanted to just level up. Like, so many people
- 11:58Speaker 3: have them, whether it's just, like, you and I or, like, celebrities.
- 12:02Speaker 2: It's everywhere.
- 12:02Speaker 1: I think it's so flattering when people go, oh, my God,
- 12:04Speaker 1: I had no idea you had veneers. Oh, really?
- 12:06Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:07Speaker 1: I've had one person say, you have veneers, right? And
- 12:10Speaker 1: I was like, yeah, how'd you know? And I think
- 12:11Speaker 1: that person just like, I don't know.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Staring at your mouth.
- 12:13Speaker 1: I had like a sixth sense, but they were like,
- 12:15Speaker 1: your teeth are perfect. Do you have veneers? And I'm like, yeah,
- 12:18Speaker 1: I do actually. But most people are like, what? You
- 12:19Speaker 1: have veneers? That's crazy.
- 12:21Speaker 2: Yeah, you want it to look just good enough where
- 12:22Speaker 2: you love your smile, but not so good where you're like, okay,
- 12:25Speaker 2: those things aren't even a real shade of white. They're
- 12:28Speaker 2: too white.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Oh, my God. You look like the Santa Claus from
- 12:30Speaker 1: Santa Claus 2.
- 12:30Speaker 2: Yeah, where your mouth actually blinds you when you smile.
- 12:33Speaker 1: Yeah, you're like a nutcracker.
- 12:35Speaker 2: So what made you decide not to be a dentist?
- 12:37Speaker 2: You're just like, eh. I don't know.
- 12:39Speaker 1: I think just one day I was like, eh.
- 12:40Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Which is good because I think you have to be
- 12:42Speaker 1: really good at science to get into med school, and
- 12:44Speaker 1: I'm not good at science.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I wasn't either.
- 12:46Speaker 3: That's what actually stopped me from going into physical therapy
- 12:48Speaker 3: because I was sitting in chemistry, and I was like,
- 12:50Speaker 3: nothing makes sense.
- 12:52Speaker 1: I'm not good at this. Mm-mm.
- 12:53Speaker 3: This is actually really, really hard. And I thought I
- 12:56Speaker 3: was so smart through high school. Then I got to
- 12:57Speaker 3: college and I was like.
- 12:58Speaker 2: Huh, maybe.
- 13:00Speaker 3: And I'm not saying I'm not smart, but this is
- 13:02Speaker 3: not the area of expertise that I belong in.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:05Speaker 2: It took a couple years after that to figure it out.
- 13:07Speaker 2: It would have been cool. I think I would have
- 13:08Speaker 2: liked the profession, just not the schooling to get to
- 13:10Speaker 2: the profession.
- 13:10Speaker 1: I completely agree. And sometimes I wonder if that's the
- 13:13Speaker 1: flaw in the system is the schooling that gets you
- 13:15Speaker 1: to the career doesn't line up the right people for
- 13:17Speaker 1: that job. Because you know how like when you go
- 13:19Speaker 1: into dental or med school and you're constantly like sucks.
- 13:22Speaker 1: But that person could be a totally great doctor. Cause
- 13:25Speaker 1: a lot of the doctors I've seen kind of suck.
- 13:28Speaker 2: Very true.
- 13:28Speaker 3: Like a lot, not, there are some I have noticed
- 13:31Speaker 3: in my experience that just like lack empathy or people
- 13:34Speaker 3: skills or like any of the things that actually make
- 13:36Speaker 3: me feel comfortable in that very vulnerable place.
- 13:38Speaker 1: I know that. Well, especially as a woman going into
- 13:40Speaker 1: the doctor, they never believe you. They just always think
- 13:42Speaker 1: you have an eating disorder or anxiety. And I'm like, fair,
- 13:46Speaker 1: but no. Yeah.
- 13:47Speaker 2: Like let's, You know what sucks about it?
- 13:49Speaker 3: I think we've talked about this months ago, but because
- 13:52Speaker 3: of how busy they are, they can't give you the
- 13:55Speaker 3: proper look in of what's truly wrong with you. Yeah.
- 13:58Speaker 2: That part sucks.
- 13:59Speaker 1: That's why I'm a big proponent of going to a
- 14:02Speaker 1: naturopath or a holistic health doctor because You're going to
- 14:06Speaker 1: pay out of pocket.
- 14:07Speaker 2: A woo-woo doctor?
- 14:08Speaker 1: You're going to go to a woo-woo doctor. But I mean,
- 14:10Speaker 1: what does it cost for you to go to the
- 14:11Speaker 1: regular doctor? It's like a $ 100 copay. Spend a couple
- 14:14Speaker 1: more and you actually get a good experience.
- 14:15Speaker 3: Somebody that's just like, I like the individualistic care.
- 14:20Speaker 1: Yes.
- 14:21Speaker 2: I want somebody to be like, forget everything I've ever
- 14:23Speaker 2: seen until right now. Yeah. Let me focus on you.
- 14:26Speaker 3: So that's why, I mean, I don't do the blood
- 14:28Speaker 3: work anymore, but I do like the idea of getting
- 14:30Speaker 3: a scan here just to see.
- 14:32Speaker 2: One scan, tell me what's going on, if there's anything happening.
- 14:35Speaker 1: What's wrong with me?
- 14:37Speaker 2: Well, my first one, I would like to know what's
- 14:38Speaker 2: going on with my heart. I just want to know.
- 14:40Speaker 3: I want to know if I'm, like, just, you know,
- 14:42Speaker 3: maybe a little weak in that area and I need
- 14:43Speaker 3: to strengthen it. Or is there something worse?
- 14:45Speaker 1: Okay.
- 14:46Speaker 3: But back to, like, just really quick on this concussion thing.
- 14:48Speaker 3: I saw another player.
- 14:50Speaker 2: Have you noticed? I don't know how much NFL you're watching.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Not a lot.
- 14:54Speaker 3: But you might notice, like, there's some players with these
- 14:56Speaker 3: bigger helmets on. Have you noticed, like, the foam padding
- 14:58Speaker 3: over some of them?
- 14:59Speaker 1: I thought those were practice helmets.
- 15:00Speaker 2: Those are guardian caps. It's the new thing in the NFL.
- 15:03Speaker 1: Oh.
- 15:03Speaker 3: What's so weird. This is where guys, we are so
- 15:08Speaker 3: effing like weird. A lot of the guys are saying
- 15:11Speaker 3: no to wearing them because it just looks funny.
- 15:14Speaker 2: That it doesn't fit the culture. That it looks a
- 15:16Speaker 2: little quote unquote weak.
- 15:17Speaker 1: I get that though. And I thought it's funny that
- 15:18Speaker 1: you bring that up. But I thought those were just
- 15:20Speaker 1: for practice. I thought people were just practicing in them.
- 15:23Speaker 1: But I saw the same thing because I've been going
- 15:25Speaker 1: to so many lightning games. My feed is just like
- 15:27Speaker 1: all NHL. There's a new thing where rookies have to
- 15:32Speaker 1: wear a neck guard so they don't get their neck
- 15:34Speaker 1: sliced or whatever. And I remember having that same thought
- 15:36Speaker 1: of going, oh, my God, there's because the older players
- 15:39Speaker 1: don't have to wear them. I was like, no older
- 15:41Speaker 1: players ever going to voluntarily wear that thing that could
- 15:44Speaker 1: potentially save their life because I know dudes are going
- 15:46Speaker 1: to be like, well, I don't want to seem like
- 15:47Speaker 1: I'm a pussy because I got my neck guard on.
- 15:50Speaker 1: And then they'll be chirping from like the. the penalty box,
- 15:53Speaker 1: and be like, oh, look at you in your neck guard.
- 15:54Speaker 1: But I'm like, it's so sad because this is something
- 15:56Speaker 1: that could really protect you.
- 15:57Speaker 2: It could literally save your life.
- 15:59Speaker 3: And I saw a player get up and he was
- 16:00Speaker 3: talking about it because he's wearing it. He's got it
- 16:02Speaker 3: in every game. He's got the guardian cap on. And
- 16:04Speaker 3: they're like, oh, what made you want to wear it?
- 16:06Speaker 3: He's like, I want to have a life after I'm
- 16:08Speaker 3: done in the league.
- 16:08Speaker 2: Like, I got kids. I want to be able to
- 16:11Speaker 2: see my kids grow up.
- 16:12Speaker 1: I wonder if it's harder to run because it's a
- 16:14Speaker 1: bigger helmet.
- 16:15Speaker 2: Yeah, it probably feels a little funny. You feel like
- 16:17Speaker 2: a bobblehead? But I feel like it's a padding. It's like,
- 16:19Speaker 2: it's foam. So how heavy could it really feel? And...
- 16:22Speaker 2: If that's going to be what you need to not
- 16:24Speaker 2: get CTE, to not have all these other problems, sign
- 16:27Speaker 2: me up. It just blows my mind.
- 16:29Speaker 3: I guess I get it because I'm a dude, but
- 16:31Speaker 3: it still blows my mind that more players haven't jumped
- 16:33Speaker 3: on this when we know how bad it could be. Like,
- 16:37Speaker 3: I'm so into the football world right now, but there's
- 16:39Speaker 3: this player.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Well, it's just interesting.
- 16:41Speaker 3: You see so many of these players have health problems,
- 16:43Speaker 3: and they're so young, and you're like, you're... I wish
- 16:47Speaker 3: we could have done something or known something.
- 16:48Speaker 1: I know. The best gig is just to be like
- 16:50Speaker 1: a third stringer. You never really play, but you get
- 16:52Speaker 1: to wear the jersey, get all the glory. You probably
- 16:54Speaker 1: got some hot wife at home and you're making like
- 16:56Speaker 1: a million dollars a game.
- 16:58Speaker 2: Easy. You just sit on the sidelines.
- 16:59Speaker 3: You get to say in the NFL, you know, what's
- 17:01Speaker 3: funny about that is because I'm in the speaking world.
- 17:03Speaker 3: And so I look for different gigs and I always wonder,
- 17:05Speaker 3: I'm like, damn, they have an NFL speaker coming in.
- 17:09Speaker 2: It doesn't even matter who it is. You put NFL
- 17:11Speaker 2: in front of it. Everyone's like, Oh, me. I'm like radio.
- 17:15Speaker 1: They're like, All right.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:17Speaker 1: Cool. No. Yeah, we're not nearly as cool as the
- 17:21Speaker 1: pro athletes.
- 17:21Speaker 2: Yeah, but if you're a third stringer and you have
- 17:23Speaker 2: your life, you could write books about the experience. You
- 17:26Speaker 2: could go on speaking tours.
- 17:27Speaker 3: I mean, if I could go back in time, I
- 17:31Speaker 3: forget being like the big macho, like I'm going to
- 17:33Speaker 3: tackle guys.
- 17:34Speaker 2: I'd have been a kicker. Be a kicker on a team.
- 17:37Speaker 1: Oh, that is the cheat code.
- 17:38Speaker 2: Hell yeah.
- 17:39Speaker 1: That's a lot of pressure though. If you can handle
- 17:41Speaker 1: the pressure, because a lot of times, I mean, it
- 17:44Speaker 1: comes down to you, whether you can get that goal
- 17:45Speaker 1: or not. And I mean, make or break baby.
- 17:48Speaker 2: That's true. I guess maybe I'll then be a punter.
- 17:50Speaker 2: I'd be a punter. Cause a punter could F up
- 17:52Speaker 2: every now and then.
- 17:52Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 17:53Speaker 2: But they got that big old leg and it's like,
- 17:55Speaker 2: I guess you gotta be tall. My legs aren't that long.
- 17:57Speaker 2: I don't know how much power they could put on
- 17:58Speaker 2: that ball. Sorry. But it would have been the easy,
- 18:01Speaker 2: not the easy way. It would have been a much
- 18:02Speaker 2: safer way. To try to go to another level.
- 18:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 18:05Speaker 1: No one tackle me. Yeah.
- 18:06Speaker 3: I don't want to get hit anymore. That's why I
- 18:08Speaker 3: was telling my buddy yesterday as we're driving by his
- 18:10Speaker 3: high school. I'm like, man, I do have dreams about
- 18:12Speaker 3: playing football still. And like we talked about in the
- 18:15Speaker 3: last podcast, it's weird to think like I'll never do
- 18:17Speaker 3: that again. But I also don't want to do it again.
- 18:19Speaker 3: Because I'm like, I don't want to smack my head
- 18:22Speaker 3: against somebody anymore.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:23Speaker 2: That sounds horrible. Horrifying.
- 18:25Speaker 3: I don't want to do anything that could potentially put
- 18:27Speaker 3: me in like life hurt situation. All those different injuries
- 18:31Speaker 3: and problems.
- 18:32Speaker 1: Life hurt.
- 18:32Speaker 2: All that to say... How.
- 18:35Speaker 1: Are we getting on this again?
- 18:36Speaker 2: The rejection from the big football player in the Tampa
- 18:39Speaker 2: Bay area.
- 18:39Speaker 1: You got sapped. What did Cackle say? Or Cackle.
- 18:42Speaker 2: What did Cackle say?
- 18:43Speaker 1: What did Kelta say?
- 18:44Speaker 2: You got sapped. You got sapped.
- 18:46Speaker 3: We were talking about it, all the guys yesterday at
- 18:47Speaker 3: the meeting. And you told me, he's like, everybody has
- 18:49Speaker 3: a story. Everybody in this building. Everybody in the industry.
- 18:53Speaker 3: If you haven't had one, are you really in it?
- 18:55Speaker 1: He's like, you're not special.
- 18:56Speaker 2: I'm like, oh no, I got it. I just.
- 18:59Speaker 3: I wish we, I guess it's a cool story now,
- 19:01Speaker 3: but I wish I would have known before. Because it
- 19:03Speaker 3: was humiliating to do it in front of my girlfriend.
- 19:04Speaker 2: That sucked. That was like.
- 19:06Speaker 1: Did she break up with you afterwards?
- 19:07Speaker 2: Yeah, she's like, actually, he didn't want to take a
- 19:09Speaker 2: picture with you. I'm going to, I'm going to leave.
- 19:12Speaker 2: She's like, how are you going to leave? I drove
- 19:13Speaker 2: you here. She's like, I'm going to Uber out.
- 19:15Speaker 3: Yeah, because he didn't say hi. All that to say,
- 19:17Speaker 3: I got another rejection yesterday. And this goes into the
- 19:19Speaker 3: car discussion that we were having earlier in the week.
- 19:22Speaker 3: My Subaru, she did. I don't know what I'm.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Going to do with her.
- 19:25Speaker 1: RIP Sue.
- 19:27Speaker 2: I mean, there are a.
- 19:28Speaker 3: Couple options here, but I'm going to probably get the
- 19:30Speaker 3: call today that it's like $ 5, 000.
- 19:31Speaker 2: To $ 6, 000.
- 19:32Speaker 1: What are the options?
- 19:33Speaker 3: Well, I either take the car back and drive her
- 19:36Speaker 3: until she fully dies and the transmission goes, and that
- 19:40Speaker 3: could be in a year. So I'm going to spend, what,
- 19:43Speaker 3: 6K this time? And then car dies? Or I can
- 19:45Speaker 3: put that 6K to a new car. But what was
- 19:48Speaker 3: super embarrassing is that it's a nice car.
- 19:52Speaker 2: It looks nice. And I asked the Subaru dealership. I
- 19:54Speaker 2: was like, all right, look. I get it. It's going
- 19:56Speaker 2: to be expensive. Just can I get an appraisal on it?
- 19:59Speaker 2: Can I just get enough? Like, give me a number.
- 20:00Speaker 2: Give me a ballpark. I didn't even.
- 20:02Speaker 3: I literally told my dad. I was like, it's time
- 20:05Speaker 3: to get rid of it. He's like, we'll get an
- 20:06Speaker 3: appraisal and see maybe they want it. I get the
- 20:08Speaker 3: call yesterday, literally on the phone. The guy's like, no,
- 20:12Speaker 3: we don't want it. We talked to sales. They don't
- 20:14Speaker 3: want anything to do with it. I'm like, what the,
- 20:16Speaker 3: what is happening? What did I do where the karma
- 20:19Speaker 3: is now? Like, all right, we're going to just bleep
- 20:21Speaker 3: up this. We're not even going to give you a
- 20:23Speaker 3: chance with this. I'm like, so now what do I
- 20:25Speaker 3: do if they don't even want the car?
- 20:27Speaker 2: Do I get it fixed? Then I got to get
- 20:28Speaker 2: it sold.
- 20:30Speaker 3: Or like, I just take it without like, cause the
- 20:33Speaker 3: AC is the next biggest expense.
- 20:35Speaker 2: The AC went, That's going to cost me like 4K.
- 20:37Speaker 1: And you cannot not have AC.
- 20:39Speaker 2: Correct.
- 20:39Speaker 3: And I can't sell a car for any sort of
- 20:42Speaker 3: money without that. So it's either I take it without
- 20:44Speaker 3: getting fixed and I sell it for just nothing. Might
- 20:48Speaker 3: be an option. That one sucks because it's still a
- 20:51Speaker 3: nice car. Because I went online, it's valued at like.
- 20:53Speaker 2: 5, 6K. So it's going to cost as much as
- 20:56Speaker 2: it's worth to get fixed. Yeah.
- 20:58Speaker 1: I mean, is there anywhere you can just drop off
- 21:00Speaker 1: the car and just be like, please just take it
- 21:02Speaker 1: so you don't have to spend any money on it?
- 21:03Speaker 3: Well, I think the only option is I get it fixed,
- 21:06Speaker 3: and then I just try to sell it privately and
- 21:08Speaker 3: just try to make my money back, which could suck.
- 21:10Speaker 3: That sounds horrible, but at least it gives me a
- 21:12Speaker 3: second to.
- 21:12Speaker 2: Have the car.
- 21:12Speaker 1: You're not going to make the money back on the car.
- 21:14Speaker 2: You don't think I'll make 6K on it?
- 21:15Speaker 1: No, you for sure won't.
- 21:16Speaker 2: Okay, well, that sucks.
- 21:16Speaker 3: Well, that's why I'm like, this weekend, I'm sure they're
- 21:18Speaker 3: going to call me, because eventually I have to give in.
- 21:20Speaker 3: I have a complimentary car right now, which, thank God,
- 21:23Speaker 3: I'm getting around town with it.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:24Speaker 3: But eventually I'm going to switch back, and if I
- 21:26Speaker 3: don't get the AC fixed, I'm going to what, roll
- 21:29Speaker 3: my windows down that don't even work?
- 21:30Speaker 2: I forgot about that. My windows don't even work.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Dang, girl.
- 21:32Speaker 2: I guess the car's done. The car's done. It's going
- 21:34Speaker 2: to cost way more than it's worth.
- 21:35Speaker 1: You've got to sell it at the right time. That's
- 21:37Speaker 1: the moral of the story. You've got to figure out
- 21:39Speaker 1: when it's just getting janky enough to where someone will
- 21:41Speaker 1: take it.
- 21:41Speaker 2: I was getting ready for that moment. I really was.
- 21:44Speaker 3: In my head, I was like, all right, we're at $ 141, 000.
- 21:46Speaker 3: I could kind of feel the car starting to give.
- 21:50Speaker 3: Let's start looking at getting rid of this thing. And
- 21:52Speaker 3: then it just happens out of nowhere, though.
- 21:54Speaker 2: That's the thing with cars. It's not like there's a
- 21:55Speaker 2: little dash thing that's like, hey, by the way, coming up.
- 21:58Speaker 2: On a little bit of time. It was literally like,
- 22:01Speaker 2: and we're done. I'm like, what?
- 22:03Speaker 3: What?
- 22:04Speaker 2: I got to get rid of you now?
- 22:06Speaker 3: So that's like I'm working on now of finding the
- 22:09Speaker 3: new car. But it just felt so crappy to be
- 22:11Speaker 3: rejected again from a car dealership.
- 22:13Speaker 2: They say no to nothing. They don't even want to
- 22:15Speaker 2: have it.
- 22:16Speaker 1: Okay. It is surprising. You think they'd be able to
- 22:18Speaker 1: sell it for parts or whatever?
- 22:20Speaker 2: At least something.
- 22:21Speaker 3: Like they're not even going to give me like a
- 22:22Speaker 3: grand for it. comp the repairs and just take it.
- 22:25Speaker 1: So funny.
- 22:26Speaker 2: That's crazy to me.
- 22:27Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 22:27Speaker 2: That's madness.
- 22:28Speaker 3: So I probably will take it back and then have
- 22:29Speaker 3: to sell it on my own. But I was asking
- 22:31Speaker 3: you this earlier because I'm going to give you a
- 22:32Speaker 3: couple options. I'm going to narrow down my options to
- 22:34Speaker 3: like three and what one feels more like me since
- 22:36Speaker 3: you have your laptop.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Okay.
- 22:37Speaker 2: Because I am 90% sure I'm going to go electric.
- 22:41Speaker 1: It's electric.
- 22:42Speaker 2: Boogie, boogie, boogie.
- 22:43Speaker 3: I would like to go that route because gas is
- 22:45Speaker 3: like a gajillion dollars.
- 22:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I filled up yesterday and I was like, what
- 22:48Speaker 1: do you mean $ 4. 50? What is this, hell?
- 22:51Speaker 2: I want to do my part to save the planet.
- 22:53Speaker 2: That's kind of a, no, not really, but gas.
- 22:56Speaker 1: I get that.
- 22:56Speaker 3: The three options I'm narrowed down to. I want you
- 23:00Speaker 3: to look up the Ford Mach-E. It's a Mustang Mach-E.
- 23:04Speaker 1: Mach-E? Mach-E.
- 23:05Speaker 2: No, Mach-E.
- 23:07Speaker 1: Ford Mach-E?
- 23:09Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 23:09Speaker 3: That's like my first option. I'm working with one of
- 23:12Speaker 3: our teammates here, and I'm.
- 23:14Speaker 2: Going to see.
- 23:15Speaker 1: Oh, like Bach. Bach.
- 23:16Speaker 2: Like bach mach m-a-c-h-e.
- 23:18Speaker 1: Okay this is sly it's sweet i like this green
- 23:21Speaker 1: color yeah right okay you know it's new it's electric
- 23:25Speaker 1: it's fast i wasn't a huge fan of you know
- 23:29Speaker 1: having a smaller car i'm used to the suv but
- 23:31Speaker 1: for this time period i could do it this one's
- 23:34Speaker 1: chic okay what are the other two the other.
- 23:35Speaker 2: One is the tesla model why.
- 23:37Speaker 1: Tesla model why would you get that.
- 23:39Speaker 2: Car because it's Let's just be honest on the pot.
- 23:42Speaker 2: I know, like, Tesla is controversial.
- 23:44Speaker 1: That was a joke.
- 23:45Speaker 2: I know, but it's true, though.
- 23:46Speaker 3: Because I have to literally run this by everybody. I'm like,
- 23:48Speaker 3: how are you going to feel if I pull up
- 23:49Speaker 3: in a Tesla? And some people had mixed reactions.
- 23:53Speaker 1: I think this model is going to look really old
- 23:56Speaker 1: in a couple years.
- 23:57Speaker 2: Doesn't it look like a beetle? It looks like a
- 23:58Speaker 2: beetle to me, like, on the road.
- 24:00Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel like they're about to remodel it because
- 24:02Speaker 1: I feel like I've seen so many of these that
- 24:03Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, they're going to revamp this at some point.
- 24:06Speaker 3: Well, the thing with it is it's in the right
- 24:08Speaker 3: price range and... It's truly the best electric car.
- 24:12Speaker 1: Okay.
- 24:12Speaker 2: I could pay a little extra money. It could drive
- 24:14Speaker 2: me around.
- 24:14Speaker 1: What's the third one?
- 24:15Speaker 3: The third one is the Hyundai Ioniq 5. Hyundai. Hyundai
- 24:21Speaker 3: Ioniq 5.
- 24:22Speaker 1: Ioniq.
- 24:23Speaker 3: Now, these are weirdly, they're not the sexiest car out
- 24:26Speaker 3: of the three, but they're the best out of the three.
- 24:28Speaker 2: Okay. What are your thoughts on that one?
- 24:30Speaker 1: I hate the way this looks.
- 24:31Speaker 2: I know.
- 24:32Speaker 3: I wasn't a huge fan of it either, but it
- 24:34Speaker 3: is the best, and the inside of it looks sweet.
- 24:37Speaker 3: That's the part to me that I'm like, I mean,
- 24:38Speaker 3: that's really what matters.
- 24:39Speaker 1: Have you asked your girlfriend yet?
- 24:41Speaker 2: Yeah, I sent her all three.
- 24:42Speaker 1: What are her thoughts?
- 24:42Speaker 2: She's in for all of them.
- 24:43Speaker 3: I think I'm going to try to take her to
- 24:44Speaker 3: test drive all of them because I do want to
- 24:46Speaker 3: feel the comfort.
- 24:48Speaker 2: What does it feel like in it?
- 24:49Speaker 1: Yeah, I would say that would be a big deciding
- 24:51Speaker 1: factor is the one thing you do every single time
- 24:53Speaker 1: you get in your car is you are going to
- 24:55Speaker 1: drive it.
- 24:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I want to make sure it feels right.
- 24:57Speaker 1: You got to figure out if you like driving it first.
- 25:00Speaker 1: And I feel like that'll be a big deal breaker
- 25:01Speaker 1: or not.
- 25:02Speaker 2: Out of the three, what would you pick right away?
- 25:04Speaker 1: I like the first one, the Ford one. I mean,
- 25:05Speaker 1: if we're just going off vibes.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Just go off vibes. Yeah, yeah, that's all I'm asking.
- 25:08Speaker 1: The first one is the best looking.
- 25:10Speaker 2: That's what I think.
- 25:11Speaker 3: I think it's the third place option for best electric
- 25:15Speaker 3: in there.
- 25:15Speaker 2: They're all really good.
- 25:16Speaker 1: Yeah, the second one, I mean... The Tesla's kind of
- 25:19Speaker 1: a classic one at this point, but I think it'll
- 25:21Speaker 1: look old in two years. And I think it'll be like, oh,
- 25:23Speaker 1: I have the old Tesla. I don't want the old Tesla.
- 25:26Speaker 3: I just want a car that I love being in.
- 25:28Speaker 3: It's my first option. I think I'm leaning toward the Ford.
- 25:32Speaker 3: I did send a message to our saleswoman, Mel.
- 25:34Speaker 2: I was like, hey. Hey. I love this car. They
- 25:37Speaker 2: have one over at Furman. Could we set something up?
- 25:40Speaker 2: I would love to work with them for that.
- 25:42Speaker 3: So I'm going to try to drive over there today
- 25:43Speaker 3: and see if I get a little test drive.
- 25:44Speaker 2: Okay.
- 25:45Speaker 3: But I know they're going to try to probably hound
- 25:47Speaker 3: me down for another one, too. I don't think the
- 25:49Speaker 3: electric cars are doing great around the industry. And so
- 25:52Speaker 3: they're going to be like, oh, yeah, but what about this?
- 25:54Speaker 1: But, hey, I mean, if it's a free car, it's
- 25:55Speaker 1: a free car. Oh, girl.
- 25:56Speaker 2: If it's free, no doubt I'm taking it immediately.
- 25:59Speaker 1: I don't know if that will happen.
- 26:00Speaker 2: I don't think it's going to happen.
- 26:01Speaker 1: Maybe you could get a loaner car for like three
- 26:03Speaker 1: months and just do some social with it. That'll at
- 26:05Speaker 1: least give you some transition time.
- 26:06Speaker 2: That would give me great transition time.
- 26:08Speaker 3: And then maybe I love it so much that I'm like, actually,
- 26:10Speaker 3: I'm going to take it and just ride it out
- 26:13Speaker 3: until whatever. Because realistically, and I know somebody got mad
- 26:16Speaker 3: at me for talking about this on the air. But, like,
- 26:19Speaker 3: driverless cars are going to be here.
- 26:20Speaker 2: I mean, they're here.
- 26:23Speaker 3: Legit.
- 26:23Speaker 2: They're already here.
- 26:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, AI is taking all of our jobs.
- 26:25Speaker 2: Well, I guess. Okay, in that case, so we're all
- 26:27Speaker 2: in the same boat. So, it'll just all be in
- 26:28Speaker 2: the same boat, same paddle.
- 26:30Speaker 3: But I'm going to get this car. And what's crazy
- 26:32Speaker 3: is I was talking to my friend. I was like,
- 26:33Speaker 3: this might be the last car I ever drive. Because,
- 26:36Speaker 3: think about it.
- 26:37Speaker 1: The last car you ever drive?
- 26:39Speaker 3: In the next five years. I could see in five,
- 26:42Speaker 3: ten years, like, it's just driverless cars. Everyone's in a
- 26:44Speaker 3: driverless car.
- 26:44Speaker 1: Oh, oh, oh, oh. That's so true.
- 26:46Speaker 3: Because everyone's starting to do it. I was looking, because
- 26:48Speaker 3: now that I'm in the car world, I know weird
- 26:50Speaker 3: things about cars. Like, Rivian's about to come out with
- 26:52Speaker 3: their own model that drives itself.
- 26:53Speaker 2: And a couple other brands.
- 26:54Speaker 1: I'm sick of doing all this work.
- 26:57Speaker 3: It does sound sweet. You just sit on back. But
- 26:59Speaker 3: it would be the last car that I actually drive. Like,
- 27:01Speaker 3: actually hands on the wheel, drive.
- 27:02Speaker 1: Yeah, so make sure you enjoy... How it feels behind
- 27:05Speaker 1: the wheel.
- 27:05Speaker 2: That's what I feel. And that's what I think the
- 27:07Speaker 2: Ford is. Like, ooh, it's zippy. It's fun. I've never
- 27:09Speaker 2: had a sports car.
- 27:10Speaker 1: I like a zippy car.
- 27:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:11Speaker 1: My car's pretty zippy.
- 27:12Speaker 2: The little Mazda?
- 27:13Speaker 1: The Mazda Rati.
- 27:14Speaker 2: Do you have a name for your car?
- 27:16Speaker 1: No.
- 27:16Speaker 2: You never decided to name it? Is that not your thing? No.
- 27:19Speaker 2: I can't say that.
- 27:19Speaker 1: I think I tried forcing it with my first car
- 27:21Speaker 1: and it just like didn't stick. And so I'm like, yeah.
- 27:23Speaker 2: See, I like my, I like Sue the Subaru. Sue
- 27:25Speaker 2: the Subaru.
- 27:25Speaker 1: But that makes sense.
- 27:26Speaker 2: She was a great car. And she was big. That's what,
- 27:29Speaker 2: you know what?
- 27:30Speaker 3: Some people love being in a smaller car. Some people
- 27:32Speaker 3: get used to being in an SUV or a truck.
- 27:35Speaker 3: What's very fascinating is how quick your body gets used
- 27:37Speaker 3: to being back into like a smaller car. Because I
- 27:38Speaker 3: was in an SUV for, you know, six years. And
- 27:41Speaker 3: now I'm back in this little tiny, I'm in a
- 27:43Speaker 3: tiny Subaru right now. And I'm like, okay, I guess
- 27:45Speaker 3: I could do the tiny car thing again.
- 27:47Speaker 2: Yeah. For now. Until whatever chapters of life pop up.
- 27:50Speaker 2: But it'll be the last car I put my hands
- 27:52Speaker 2: on the wheel.
- 27:52Speaker 1: Probably.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Forever. Forever. It might be the last thing.
- 27:57Speaker 1: Might be the last time. Well, I hope you make
- 27:59Speaker 1: the right decision. Don't make the wrong one. I mean.
- 28:02Speaker 1: Because that would be detrimental.
- 28:03Speaker 2: That would be horrible.
- 28:04Speaker 1: When are you going to test drive them?
- 28:06Speaker 3: I hope today. I hate taking time out of it.
- 28:09Speaker 3: I've just put everything off this week. I've had to
- 28:11Speaker 3: make calls this week and workouts, and everything's got put
- 28:13Speaker 3: to the crapper because of this situation, friend situations, travel situations.
- 28:20Speaker 3: I feel very behind on my schedule, and it's kind
- 28:22Speaker 3: of given me a little bit of anxiety.
- 28:25Speaker 2: But it's fine.
- 28:26Speaker 3: I need to go test drive today because I know
- 28:28Speaker 3: eventually they're going to have to take their courtesy car back.
- 28:30Speaker 2: So it's time to get a new one.
- 28:31Speaker 1: Just like your girlfriend. You got to test drive it
- 28:33Speaker 1: before you buy it.
- 28:34Speaker 2: My Jesus. How was the lightning game yesterday?
- 28:37Speaker 1: So fun. I love going to Thunder. So fun. The
- 28:40Speaker 1: first like, I will say, you know, they weren't winning
- 28:43Speaker 1: towards the end. So, you know, momentum kind of left
- 28:46Speaker 1: around period three. But like that, they have such a
- 28:49Speaker 1: good intro. Like they play Thunderstruck. They have, like, a
- 28:52Speaker 1: little 11-year-old come and skate out, and you're just watching
- 28:54Speaker 1: this kid, and you know this is, like, the best
- 28:56Speaker 1: day of his life. Oh, my God, yeah. Wearing the
- 28:57Speaker 1: Lightning jersey, and he gets to stand with the players
- 28:59Speaker 1: after they name the starting lineup. It's just wholesome.
- 29:03Speaker 3: It would be so crazy. Could you imagine being that kid? Like,
- 29:06Speaker 3: they do these things to these kids. I'm like, man,
- 29:07Speaker 3: they don't even understand how cool that is.
- 29:09Speaker 1: No, it's so cool.
- 29:11Speaker 2: I want to be that adult.
- 29:12Speaker 1: I know.
- 29:12Speaker 2: I want to skate out with the players.
- 29:13Speaker 1: I want to go back to when I was 11
- 29:15Speaker 1: and I still had hopes and dreams.
- 29:16Speaker 2: You know what? You should actually apply to be applied.
- 29:18Speaker 2: Just reach.
- 29:20Speaker 1: Out. Can you picture that? Because I can't skate.
- 29:26Speaker 2: Oh, really?
- 29:27Speaker 1: I'm not a coordinated person. I'm very sharp with my tongue.
- 29:30Speaker 1: I'm not sharp with my feet.
- 29:32Speaker 2: Interesting. Could you ride a bike?
- 29:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not great at it, but I can. Um,
- 29:38Speaker 1: but yeah, if you've never seen the start of a
- 29:40Speaker 1: lightning game and we've talked so much about the lightning,
- 29:41Speaker 1: dear God, we're giving them so much free press.
- 29:42Speaker 2: Oh girl, they send you to the games. Yeah, they are.
- 29:45Speaker 2: Bring it on, go bolts.
- 29:45Speaker 1: Yeah, go bolts, go motherfucking bolts. Um, so the way
- 29:48Speaker 1: they start out their games is they play Thunderstruck and
- 29:51Speaker 1: they have like a 12 year old who's on one
- 29:52Speaker 1: of their junior teams or whatever. I don't know where
- 29:54Speaker 1: they find these kids. They just pluck them off the street.
- 29:56Speaker 2: Hey kid.
- 29:57Speaker 1: Hey kid. Uh, and I'm assuming he's like a, local
- 30:00Speaker 1: hockey player kid and they have him like lead this
- 30:04Speaker 1: line of flags or whatever and he just gets to
- 30:06Speaker 1: feel like a badass skating around it's just.
- 30:08Speaker 3: Really cute it is cool and that's like like you
- 30:10Speaker 3: said the biggest moment of his life imagine telling your
- 30:12Speaker 3: friends it's cool yeah yeah i skated out with.
- 30:14Speaker 1: The lightning yeah and then they announced the starting lineup
- 30:17Speaker 1: and then they stand for the national anthem with the
- 30:19Speaker 1: players and it's just.
- 30:20Speaker 2: Really precious And it's just such a fun environment.
- 30:23Speaker 3: What I did love is, like, we had a coworker, Gordy,
- 30:25Speaker 3: send me a video of you, like, turning up at
- 30:27Speaker 3: the game yesterday.
- 30:27Speaker 1: Do you have the video?
- 30:28Speaker 2: I do have the video.
- 30:29Speaker 1: Play the video for the people. Oh, yeah.
- 30:30Speaker 3: Because this was, I was like, lightning games are fun
- 30:32Speaker 3: to just, like, you literally just get to let loose.
- 30:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:35Speaker 2: Drink, eat, all the things.
- 30:37Speaker 1: I really wasn't going to drink or have much of
- 30:39Speaker 1: a time. I just honestly wanted to see the lightning get,
- 30:41Speaker 1: the lightning deck, not get decked, deck the Panthers. Deck
- 30:44Speaker 1: the Panthers. That didn't happen, but I just was not having,
- 30:46Speaker 1: just having one of those days.
- 30:48Speaker 3: I'm going to show the camera for the. So obviously
- 30:51Speaker 3: when you go to a lightning game, you're not sweating.
- 30:53Speaker 3: You don't have to worry about dehydration.
- 30:55Speaker 1: Oh, it's inside.
- 30:57Speaker 2: And so I feel like you take full advantage of
- 30:59Speaker 2: these moments.
- 31:01Speaker 1: You got to put it up to the microphone.
- 31:02Speaker 2: Oh, wait a second. Here we go.
- 31:07Speaker 1: So wait, let me give context for this before you
- 31:09Speaker 1: play it. So it's the third period. I'm with Miranda.
- 31:12Speaker 1: I've had... I mean, like, I've had, like, two glasses
- 31:15Speaker 1: of wine. Two, like, big.
- 31:16Speaker 2: Oh, that's not bad.
- 31:17Speaker 1: Two big glasses of wine. I know. So, like, I'm
- 31:18Speaker 1: not trying to be like, I was so drunk.
- 31:20Speaker 2: I was falling off the chair.
- 31:21Speaker 1: I was a little tipsy. And the Endgame host, Craig,
- 31:24Speaker 1: comes over.
- 31:25Speaker 2: Greg. Greg?
- 31:26Speaker 1: Greg. I thought it was Craig.
- 31:27Speaker 2: Nope, it's Greg. Third leg Greg.
- 31:29Speaker 1: Third leg Greg. So Greg comes over and he's talking
- 31:31Speaker 1: to Mike Cernak, who's one of our engineers. And Mike goes, oh, Abby,
- 31:35Speaker 1: come over here. And I don't know why in my
- 31:36Speaker 1: mind I'm like, because he's the Endgame host and he'll, like,
- 31:39Speaker 1: interview people. during the game and i go i can't
- 31:42Speaker 1: answer any questions i'm drunk mike i'm taking you.
- 31:45Speaker 2: Said that too yes i was.
- 31:47Speaker 1: Like i can't be on camera like the narcissist that
- 31:50Speaker 1: i am and they're like that's not what what are
- 31:52Speaker 1: you talking.
- 31:53Speaker 2: About just talking to some friends.
- 31:54Speaker 1: Just saying hi so i go say hi to greg
- 31:56Speaker 1: greg was like okay loser and then um gordy was
- 32:00Speaker 1: sitting next to mike and mike's or and gordy's like
- 32:02Speaker 1: i need to get this on camera so here's me.
- 32:05Speaker 2: After that here's abby Abby is drunk right here.
- 32:12Speaker 1: Hi, Abby.
- 32:12Speaker 2: Say hello.
- 32:13Speaker 1: Hi.
- 32:15Speaker 2: Girl, you look like you're living your best life. That's
- 32:17Speaker 2: what he said right back to me.
- 32:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 32:18Speaker 2: You got a nice outfit on. You got a little
- 32:20Speaker 2: jacket on. You got a plate of food.
- 32:22Speaker 1: You got to have something to live for, Scotty.
- 32:24Speaker 2: That's it. Hey, lightning games are doing it. You know
- 32:26Speaker 2: what I like, though? Because I was thinking about this yesterday.
- 32:27Speaker 2: I was like, this goes right into pocket. It felt like,
- 32:30Speaker 2: I don't know. Tell me if I'm wrong.
- 32:31Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.
- 32:31Speaker 2: But, you know, like three podcasts ago, we talked about
- 32:33Speaker 2: just doing more like eff it moments. Last night feels
- 32:36Speaker 2: like an eff it moment for you. Yeah.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Just go out. Well, because I was talking to Mike
- 32:40Speaker 1: Cernak yesterday and we were talking about because he had
- 32:43Speaker 1: a he had told me he was going to more games.
- 32:46Speaker 1: And the way our tickets work is I guess we
- 32:49Speaker 1: have like a block that our station gets. And so
- 32:53Speaker 1: you can claim those seats or whatever. And so Mike
- 32:57Speaker 1: and I had seen each other on Sunday and he's like, oh, yeah,
- 32:59Speaker 1: I'm going to this game, this game, this game. And
- 33:02Speaker 1: when he came in, I was like, oh, are you
- 33:03Speaker 1: going to the game tonight? And he goes, yeah, it's
- 33:04Speaker 1: against the Panthers. And I was like, are you kidding me?
- 33:06Speaker 1: It's against the Panthers? Because that's like one of the biggest,
- 33:09Speaker 1: like it's going to be a hell of a game.
- 33:11Speaker 1: It wasn't, but I was like, oh, I'm going to
- 33:13Speaker 1: have so much FOMO if it's a good game and
- 33:15Speaker 1: I'm not there. So I requested tickets knowing I would
- 33:18Speaker 1: probably want to do something fun later in the evening.
- 33:20Speaker 1: And yeah, then I just invited, I texted everyone on
- 33:24Speaker 1: my phone and Miranda was the only one that said yes.
- 33:27Speaker 2: I like that though because I think that's the vibe
- 33:29Speaker 2: that you needed that night of like, Two young women
- 33:31Speaker 2: out in the town.
- 33:32Speaker 1: Bopping around.
- 33:33Speaker 2: It's a weeknight. I was like, girl, you turned it
- 33:35Speaker 2: up on a third. Oh, my God.
- 33:36Speaker 1: It just.
- 33:37Speaker 2: But I wasn't.
- 33:37Speaker 1: I was like, I'll just go. Maybe I'll watch one period.
- 33:39Speaker 1: I'll see them get hit, and then I'll go home.
- 33:41Speaker 2: Did you leave after one period?
- 33:42Speaker 1: No, I stayed the whole game. Oh, yeah, you did.
- 33:44Speaker 1: Once I was like, oh, they're losing. I'm like, we
- 33:45Speaker 1: got to go.
- 33:46Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, that's true.
- 33:47Speaker 1: I was like, no, this is sad.
- 33:48Speaker 2: When you have access to the drinks and the food, though,
- 33:50Speaker 2: that's good. That's what I'm saying.
- 33:51Speaker 1: I'm like, you know, I might as well get a
- 33:52Speaker 1: free meal out of this. And then I was like, okay,
- 33:54Speaker 1: I'll have one Bev. And then one Bev turned into, okay,
- 33:56Speaker 1: I'll have two Bev's. Oh, you got to have two Bev's.
- 33:57Speaker 1: And then two Bev's said, okay, I'll sip on a third.
- 33:59Speaker 1: So I sipped on a third.
- 33:59Speaker 2: Yeah, just sip on a third. What, are you going
- 34:01Speaker 2: to just Miranda? Miranda. whatever the word is, walk back
- 34:04Speaker 2: to your place.
- 34:05Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 34:06Speaker 2: Yeah, you're good. That's, like, fun.
- 34:07Speaker 1: It was fun.
- 34:08Speaker 2: Then you wake up.
- 34:10Speaker 3: I'll probably do it in the season where it's, like,
- 34:13Speaker 3: we go out to, like, a Tuesday or Thursday game.
- 34:15Speaker 3: I just know when you stay the whole game, it
- 34:17Speaker 3: is so hard to get up on the next day.
- 34:21Speaker 1: It's tough. Like, I'm glad today's Friday.
- 34:23Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like, I knew, like, I was thinking
- 34:25Speaker 2: about that last night. I was like, I hope Abby's
- 34:26Speaker 2: feeling okay when we come into the studio.
- 34:28Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, no. Like, I didn't go crazy hard. I
- 34:30Speaker 1: just had a couple of bebs and then called it
- 34:31Speaker 1: a day.
- 34:32Speaker 3: Yeah, and it Last night was not the example of
- 34:35Speaker 3: what the team will look like, the example of what
- 34:38Speaker 3: the rivalry will look like.
- 34:39Speaker 1: I hope not. Because I think the reason they didn't
- 34:42Speaker 1: get into big fights is their two fightiest players on
- 34:45Speaker 1: the Panthers, the Kachuk brothers, they didn't have them out.
- 34:48Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, yeah, exactly.
- 34:49Speaker 1: And so when I heard that, I was like, oh,
- 34:50Speaker 1: so it's going to be boring as hell.
- 34:51Speaker 2: It's not fun.
- 34:53Speaker 3: You got to look at the schedule and find, like,
- 34:55Speaker 3: where's the first game between those two.
- 34:57Speaker 1: So let's pull up.
- 34:58Speaker 3: Because that would be, like, put in the request now.
- 35:01Speaker 1: Because we're going to go to, did we get approved
- 35:03Speaker 1: for opening night or no?
- 35:04Speaker 2: Not yet. Not yet. I'm still waiting. I sent the message.
- 35:07Speaker 1: I don't think we're getting those.
- 35:08Speaker 2: No, I do. I do.
- 35:09Speaker 3: What Mike, our promotions director is doing, he's working with
- 35:12Speaker 3: the lighting. So he has to like, talk to them,
- 35:14Speaker 3: figure out the thing, and then he's going to be
- 35:16Speaker 3: able to let us know.
- 35:16Speaker 1: I was just impressed that he got me these preseason tickets.
- 35:18Speaker 1: Because I texted him and I said, listen, I know
- 35:20Speaker 1: it's a last-minute ask. Do you think I can get it?
- 35:22Speaker 1: And he was like, uh, of course. And I was like, oh,
- 35:24Speaker 1: I've never heard that before.
- 35:25Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, no, he's the man. No, he is the man.
- 35:27Speaker 1: But sometimes if you ask day of, it's like, no,
- 35:29Speaker 1: you've waited too long. So I wasn't like, of course.
- 35:31Speaker 2: I was like, what do you mean, of course?
- 35:33Speaker 3: I think we won't be able to do that during
- 35:34Speaker 3: the regular season, like last-minute kind of deal.
- 35:36Speaker 1: That's what I mean.
- 35:37Speaker 2: Like preseason, yes.
- 35:38Speaker 1: So let's see.
- 35:39Speaker 3: But that's why I put this request in, like, you know,
- 35:41Speaker 3: a week and a half to make sure, like, hey.
- 35:44Speaker 2: We are interested.
- 35:44Speaker 3: Because I say that because he said to us that
- 35:48Speaker 3: they're interested in having us back.
- 35:49Speaker 1: Duh, they're obsessed with us.
- 35:50Speaker 2: Okay, I don't know about all that, girl. But they
- 35:52Speaker 2: do like that we do some social for them.
- 35:54Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 35:54Speaker 3: And we do actually, what's so cool is like when
- 35:56Speaker 3: you genuinely like something, it just becomes so easy to
- 36:00Speaker 3: just want to do stuff with them.
- 36:01Speaker 1: Yeah, like I like going to the Bucks tailgates. Yeah.
- 36:03Speaker 1: I like going to the Lightning Games. What else do
- 36:06Speaker 1: I like to do? I like going to concerts. Like,
- 36:07Speaker 1: I mean, really, we're in the right profession. Thank God
- 36:09Speaker 1: I didn't become a dentist.
- 36:10Speaker 2: Can you imagine just sitting there looking at people's mouths?
- 36:12Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah. I look at your mouth all day. That's
- 36:15Speaker 1: enough for me. There you go.
- 36:16Speaker 2: That's the only.
- 36:18Speaker 3: Okay.
- 36:18Speaker 1: So the first game, I'm so upset. The Rangers game
- 36:20Speaker 1: is away. The whole Rangers team is hot as fuck. Yeah.
- 36:24Speaker 1: I looked it up naturally. So opening night, it's against
- 36:27Speaker 1: the Capitals. Then. Okay. So Mike Cernak said the game
- 36:30Speaker 1: against the Flyers is going to be really good. Oh, yeah.
- 36:33Speaker 2: Philadelphia.
- 36:33Speaker 3: I mean, that's there are certain states and I don't know.
- 36:35Speaker 3: It's like the players just have to fit.
- 36:37Speaker 2: The culture, I guess. But like Philadelphia, they are a
- 36:40Speaker 2: gritty team. Gritty team, like all of them.
- 36:42Speaker 3: Eagles, gritty.
- 36:43Speaker 2: Hockey, gritty.
- 36:44Speaker 1: West Philadelphia, born and raised. Yeah, I mean, I was
- 36:46Speaker 1: sitting on the playground.
- 36:47Speaker 2: On the playground is.
- 36:47Speaker 1: Where they spent most of their days.
- 36:49Speaker 2: Most of the time.
- 36:49Speaker 1: So we could maybe go to that one, although it's
- 36:52Speaker 1: a Monday. Mondays are just kind of like tough.
- 36:55Speaker 2: Mondays are really tough. It's going to be very hard
- 36:57Speaker 2: for me to want to do a weeknight.
- 36:58Speaker 1: I might just want to watch that maybe casually at home.
- 37:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 37:01Speaker 1: And then Thursday against the Wild. Never heard of them.
- 37:04Speaker 2: Who's that?
- 37:05Speaker 1: What? The Wild. I don't know.
- 37:06Speaker 2: The Wild.
- 37:07Speaker 1: The Kraken.
- 37:08Speaker 2: The Kraken Seattle. I know that.
- 37:09Speaker 1: The Canucks.
- 37:09Speaker 2: The Canucks.
- 37:11Speaker 1: Is that?
- 37:11Speaker 2: No, I don't know that one either.
- 37:13Speaker 1: And then the Jets.
- 37:14Speaker 2: That is in Dallas.
- 37:16Speaker 1: No.
- 37:17Speaker 3: Is it?
- 37:18Speaker 1: No, that's the Stars. Red Wings, Blackhawks.
- 37:20Speaker 2: Oh, that one.
- 37:21Speaker 1: Thursday, November 5th. We should go to that one. November.
- 37:24Speaker 3: Okay.
- 37:24Speaker 1: Chicago, Blackhawks. Although I don't think the Blackhawks are particularly good.
- 37:28Speaker 1: My friend just has a connection on that team, which
- 37:30Speaker 1: is the only reason why I'm thinking about that. Oh, wow.
- 37:32Speaker 2: On the team. Yeah.
- 37:34Speaker 1: A friend of a friend's dad is a coach.
- 37:36Speaker 2: Oh, that's cool.
- 37:37Speaker 1: Damn. Yeah. That's the connection. Red Wings again, Capitals, Oilers, Sabres,
- 37:41Speaker 1: Hurricane Senators. None of these are really.
- 37:43Speaker 2: Where the hell are the Panthers?
- 37:44Speaker 1: The Panthers, it's Saturday, November 28th, but it's away.
- 37:47Speaker 2: Oh, I don't want to go there.
- 37:49Speaker 1: I know. I don't want to either. You know what?
- 37:51Speaker 1: Fort Lauderdale. Ew. That's why they're so angry. They have
- 37:54Speaker 1: to live in Fort Lauderdale.
- 37:56Speaker 2: Those fans, weirdly, I grew up a Miami fan.
- 37:59Speaker 3: I grew up a Panthers fan, weirdly enough.
- 38:01Speaker 2: But that area, I don't know why, but those fans
- 38:03Speaker 2: started to get mean too.
- 38:04Speaker 1: They're so angry at us.
- 38:05Speaker 2: I feel like Tampa Bay fans, we're loyal to the team.
- 38:08Speaker 2: We love to be excited, but.
- 38:09Speaker 3: We're not going to talk shit to you. We're not
- 38:12Speaker 3: going to get in your face about a sport. We're
- 38:14Speaker 3: just going to root really loud for ours.
- 38:15Speaker 1: I'm going to stare for a good time. Okay, December
- 38:18Speaker 1: is when it gets interesting. So December, they play the Bruins.
- 38:21Speaker 2: That's going to be a fighty game.
- 38:22Speaker 1: I'll be at that game. Saturday, my friend is a
- 38:27Speaker 1: huge Bruins fan. So I got to get her tickets
- 38:29Speaker 1: to go.
- 38:29Speaker 2: Oh, there we go.
- 38:30Speaker 1: Then Saturday, they play the Penguins.
- 38:32Speaker 2: The Penguins. That's Pittsburgh. They were supposed to be.
- 38:36Speaker 3: I mean, I had a buddy that was like a
- 38:37Speaker 3: huge Penguins fan. I don't know who's going to be
- 38:39Speaker 3: good this year.
- 38:39Speaker 1: Oh, the New Year's Eve game will be fun against
- 38:41Speaker 1: the Canadians. And the Predators is the day a couple
- 38:44Speaker 1: days before that, too.
- 38:45Speaker 2: OK, so it's like put in the request now for
- 38:47Speaker 2: what games you want.
- 38:48Speaker 1: Yeah, I think December will be a big lightning month
- 38:51Speaker 1: for us. Maybe not so much October.
- 38:52Speaker 2: Yeah, not October. Not in the beginning.
- 38:54Speaker 3: The beginning's fun, but also that's why I think it
- 38:56Speaker 3: would be nice to be able to go out because
- 38:58Speaker 3: then we could just talk about them and get people
- 39:00Speaker 3: to realize, if you're new to this area, how fun
- 39:02Speaker 3: those games are.
- 39:02Speaker 1: Yeah, they're a blast. Because, I mean, Bucks games would
- 39:04Speaker 1: be fun if it wasn't so freaking hot.
- 39:06Speaker 2: Put a dome on the thing.
- 39:07Speaker 1: Put a dome on it.
- 39:08Speaker 2: Wrap a tarp around the top.
- 39:09Speaker 1: Wrap it before you.
- 39:11Speaker 2: before you.
- 39:12Speaker 1: Hang on. There's a joke here. Wrap it before you.
- 39:15Speaker 2: I'll figure it out. Let me workshop it. You know,
- 39:18Speaker 2: it is fun.
- 39:19Speaker 3: It's like you said, though, like the tailgates. I want
- 39:20Speaker 3: to do more indoor tailgates. Well, yeah, I would like
- 39:23Speaker 3: to do indoor tailgates.
- 39:24Speaker 1: Bring back indoor tailgates.
- 39:25Speaker 2: I want to go back to like my college tailgate days, though.
- 39:28Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 39:29Speaker 2: I want to one day. I don't know.
- 39:31Speaker 3: I have the vision of having like a little camper,
- 39:33Speaker 3: like the full ass tailgate set up. Like we're about
- 39:35Speaker 3: to see that this weekend. We go and talk to
- 39:37Speaker 3: people at the tailgates. But that sounds so fun where
- 39:39Speaker 3: you don't even go in the game. You just get
- 39:41Speaker 3: like an RV with a TV and a little canopy
- 39:43Speaker 3: and you get a bunch of friends that park next
- 39:44Speaker 3: to you and you just bring out the spread.
- 39:46Speaker 2: Of food and the games. That looks so fun.
- 39:48Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:49Speaker 2: You got all the energy without the price of tickets.
- 39:51Speaker 1: I know. And having to like sit next to so
- 39:52Speaker 1: much of randos.
- 39:53Speaker 2: Yeah. And the seats, you know, unless you spend a
- 39:55Speaker 2: lot of money, they're not that comfortable.
- 39:57Speaker 1: They're not that comfortable. It's honestly not that enjoyable going
- 39:59Speaker 1: to a big football stadium unless you're like front row
- 40:01Speaker 1: or in a suite. A suite would be sweet.
- 40:06Speaker 3: Yeah. There are a couple of new ones that look
- 40:08Speaker 3: nice to go to. Like, again, I don't know how
- 40:10Speaker 3: many stadiums.
- 40:10Speaker 1: You're looking at. Well, Mercedes-Benz was nice.
- 40:12Speaker 2: Okay, I've never been to that one.
- 40:13Speaker 1: Actually, I take that back. Going to Mercedes-Benz is a
- 40:16Speaker 1: good experience.
- 40:16Speaker 2: That looks really nice.
- 40:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 40:18Speaker 2: That looks like that one, the one in Dallas, the
- 40:20Speaker 2: one in L.A.
- 40:21Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, the AT & T Stadium. Oh, SoFi Stadium.
- 40:24Speaker 1: SoFi Stadium looks sick. That looks sick.
- 40:25Speaker 2: Have you seen Las Vegas, that stadium?
- 40:27Speaker 1: I have not seen that one.
- 40:28Speaker 2: That one looks sick, too.
- 40:29Speaker 1: Really?
- 40:30Speaker 3: And the only one in Florida that actually looks really
- 40:32Speaker 3: nice is the new Miami one because that one's pretty new.
- 40:34Speaker 1: Oh, they have a new one? Mm-hmm.
- 40:36Speaker 2: Oh, damn. Yeah, the Hard Rock Stadium is pretty new.
- 40:39Speaker 2: It's newer. They've added a lot of new things. Do
- 40:41Speaker 2: they have a cover?
- 40:41Speaker 1: Do they have a dome?
- 40:42Speaker 2: They have, like, not a dome, but, like, shade.
- 40:45Speaker 1: Okay.
- 40:46Speaker 2: So they cover a lot of the seats.
- 40:47Speaker 1: Why not just dome it?
- 40:49Speaker 2: I don't know. I wonder if it has something to
- 40:51Speaker 2: do with hurricanes. Well, okay, let's think about this.
- 40:53Speaker 1: Oh, that's so true.
- 40:54Speaker 3: Like, if we think about hurricanes, the trop and that roof,
- 40:57Speaker 3: how much that cost to get fixed?
- 41:00Speaker 2: Crazy.
- 41:00Speaker 1: To be fair, can't they just, like, figure out how to, like,
- 41:04Speaker 1: secure secure the roof.
- 41:06Speaker 3: Yeah i mean especially now with all the roofs that
- 41:08Speaker 3: like retract and come in uh-huh it just comes down
- 41:10Speaker 3: to money oh yeah let's get a retractable roof we
- 41:13Speaker 3: should be financial decision.
- 41:15Speaker 1: Yeah we're the urban planners for tampa bay but.
- 41:17Speaker 3: Truthfully like how much it's kind of like what i'm
- 41:20Speaker 3: in the situation with my car where i'm looking at
- 41:22Speaker 3: like all right my buddies are like you should get
- 41:23Speaker 3: a used car versus a new car i'm like guys
- 41:25Speaker 3: like let's just look at the money and check like
- 41:27Speaker 3: It's a $ 5, 000 difference.
- 41:29Speaker 1: It's not so much the difference up front, but difference
- 41:33Speaker 1: on the back end as well.
- 41:35Speaker 2: Oh, that's true.
- 41:35Speaker 1: Do you know what I mean? But I mean, yeah,
- 41:37Speaker 1: like you're, it's just money you don't have to lose.
- 41:40Speaker 1: So for example, if you get a 2025 Mach-E or whatever,
- 41:42Speaker 1: if the MSRP on that is $ 35, 000, when you leave
- 41:45Speaker 1: the lot, what's 20% of $ 35, 000? Oh, let me do
- 41:47Speaker 1: that quick. I don't know. What the heck? Okay.
- 41:56Speaker 2: I have no idea.
- 41:57Speaker 1: Let me do that real quick. Is it? I love
- 42:00Speaker 1: how we're becoming so bro-y. We're talking about finance and
- 42:03Speaker 1: the lightning. Cars, sports. Do we even appeal to women anymore?
- 42:06Speaker 2: Guys, we're one with the women, but we're bringing in
- 42:08Speaker 2: our dudes.
- 42:10Speaker 1: Okay, so that's $ 7, 000.
- 42:11Speaker 2: Immediately it's gone.
- 42:13Speaker 1: It's like you've just handed them over $ 7, 000. So if
- 42:16Speaker 1: you bought a $ 28, 000 Mach-E 2025, when you go to
- 42:20Speaker 1: sell it, that's not $ 7, 000 that you've lost.
- 42:23Speaker 2: Oh, that's true.
- 42:24Speaker 3: And, I mean, that's the crappy thing with electric cars
- 42:26Speaker 3: is they depreciate even faster.
- 42:27Speaker 1: I know.
- 42:27Speaker 2: It's like, boom, done.
- 42:29Speaker 1: But then also think about all the money you're saving
- 42:31Speaker 1: on gas.
- 42:32Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, exactly.
- 42:32Speaker 1: So, I mean, there's a little bit of give and
- 42:34Speaker 1: take there.
- 42:34Speaker 2: Yeah, and I don't know. I've just never had that
- 42:36Speaker 2: new car, like, the smell.
- 42:38Speaker 1: I do like the new car smell.
- 42:39Speaker 3: I know, and it's like everything's new. Because I've looked
- 42:41Speaker 3: at some of the used cars online, and I'm like.
- 42:43Speaker 2: Yeah, it's cheaper, but there's something about the interior that just,
- 42:46Speaker 2: it doesn't sparkle the way it used to.
- 42:48Speaker 1: I get it.
- 42:49Speaker 2: I want it to sparkle.
- 42:50Speaker 1: I get it.
- 42:50Speaker 2: We're going to see.
- 42:51Speaker 1: It's your money.
- 42:51Speaker 2: We're going to see what kind of deal.
- 42:52Speaker 3: I say that all to say, like, all right, how
- 42:54Speaker 3: do these owners for these big stadiums feel where it's like,
- 42:56Speaker 3: we could add a dome, but it's an extra so-and-so.
- 42:59Speaker 2: Like, you're worth billions. You can't add a dome for
- 43:02Speaker 2: all your fans.
- 43:03Speaker 1: I know. Like, Jerry, who's the guy that owns Jerry Jones?
- 43:06Speaker 2: Oh, Jerry Jones for the Cowboys.
- 43:07Speaker 1: He's a billionaire, and they can't even spend money on
- 43:10Speaker 1: their cheerleaders.
- 43:11Speaker 2: I know. That blows my mind.
- 43:13Speaker 1: I know. Isn't that crazy?
- 43:14Speaker 3: When you hear how much they're making versus like what
- 43:16Speaker 3: they're crazy.
- 43:18Speaker 1: Crazy is right.
- 43:19Speaker 2: But it's like, I don't know. I guess I did
- 43:22Speaker 2: watch a little bit of that documentary.
- 43:23Speaker 1: The DCC one?
- 43:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 43:26Speaker 3: That's the hard thing about the cheerleaders is because do
- 43:29Speaker 3: we appreciate them?
- 43:30Speaker 1: Yes.
- 43:32Speaker 2: Do we need them? I don't know.
- 43:35Speaker 1: I mean, you technically don't need them, but do they
- 43:38Speaker 1: add value to the experience? Yes. You know what I mean?
- 43:41Speaker 1: Then put some monetarial... But they would have to get
- 43:46Speaker 1: to a point where they're like, we're just not going
- 43:47Speaker 1: to do it.
- 43:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 43:48Speaker 3: And until everybody agrees that we're not going to do it,
- 43:51Speaker 3: then you can't get the pay raise. But that would
- 43:53Speaker 3: have to be like, honestly, like every woman to be like, nope,
- 43:55Speaker 3: we're not doing it.
- 43:56Speaker 1: I think they did do that because they did get
- 43:57Speaker 1: like a massive pay raise. I don't think it's anything exceptional.
- 44:00Speaker 1: Like I think it's enough for a... for the girls
- 44:04Speaker 1: in their early 20s to be like, oh yeah, this
- 44:05Speaker 1: is good.
- 44:06Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, like let me focus, because it is a
- 44:07Speaker 3: lot of work. You're literally always training. You're going to
- 44:10Speaker 3: events all the time. You're working on your body, your
- 44:12Speaker 3: spray tan, your hair, all those things.
- 44:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 44:16Speaker 2: On that budget, pay them a little bit more. Let
- 44:19Speaker 2: them at least live and just focus on that for
- 44:21Speaker 2: the season.
- 44:22Speaker 3: I'm in team for that, especially when you have so
- 44:24Speaker 3: much money.
- 44:25Speaker 1: I know, and I always thought, so there's this running
- 44:27Speaker 1: shtick amongst people who watch the DCC is you would
- 44:30Speaker 1: think like, okay, maybe it's an investment in getting a
- 44:32Speaker 1: lot of exposure for being a hot single girl in Dallas.
- 44:35Speaker 1: And you're going to like bag a hot rich guy afterwards.
- 44:38Speaker 1: The people will put together slideshows. And I don't say
- 44:41Speaker 1: this to be mean. I'm just saying what I have
- 44:43Speaker 1: seen on TikTok. They'll put slideshows of all the girls
- 44:46Speaker 1: with their boyfriends and they'll be like, how does this happen?
- 44:50Speaker 1: And that's not every boyfriend, but it's like so many
- 44:53Speaker 1: that people are like, how are these objectively, like they
- 44:56Speaker 1: represent the beauty standard in America. And like, These are
- 45:00Speaker 1: their boyfriends.
- 45:01Speaker 2: That sucks to be on that list.
- 45:03Speaker 1: I know. It does suck to be on that list.
- 45:04Speaker 1: And listen, it's not all boyfriends on that list. I'm
- 45:06Speaker 1: just saying that I've seen that. I'm not saying that's
- 45:08Speaker 1: my opinion. I'm saying I've seen it on the TikTok.
- 45:11Speaker 1: You know what?
- 45:11Speaker 2: It's valid to say, though, because, again, that's what you're
- 45:14Speaker 2: looking at. It happens.
- 45:17Speaker 3: We've seen it with our friends where you just... Dating
- 45:20Speaker 3: down is not the right term.
- 45:22Speaker 1: But... I mean, dating outside of your attractiveness box... Yeah.
- 45:26Speaker 2: Like, or just settling. You're like, okay, he's fine. He's
- 45:29Speaker 2: good enough. You don't realize, like, what you bring to
- 45:31Speaker 2: the table.
- 45:32Speaker 1: And you think, okay, well, maybe he's, Abby, that's so shallow.
- 45:34Speaker 1: Maybe he's really nice. We've seen some of these documentaries
- 45:36Speaker 1: to where, like, these guys suck. Yeah. It's sort of
- 45:38Speaker 1: like the secret lives of Mormon wives' husbands. Like, objectively,
- 45:42Speaker 1: all of the husbands and boyfriends absolutely suck.
- 45:46Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 45:46Speaker 1: Do you know what I mean? It's kind of like,
- 45:47Speaker 1: how are these women all so struggling?
- 45:49Speaker 2: I don't know. It's a male epidemic. It's rough.
- 45:52Speaker 1: It's a male hotness epidemic. Yeah. Make men hot again.
- 45:56Speaker 2: Well. I think we're on the right path, right? Kind of. Actually,
- 45:59Speaker 2: I don't think we are.
- 46:00Speaker 1: You're trying.
- 46:01Speaker 2: Some are.
- 46:02Speaker 1: Hey, some people do need to go to ChachiBT and
- 46:04Speaker 1: be like, what do I do with my hair?
- 46:05Speaker 2: Hey, it was the greatest investment.
- 46:07Speaker 1: It worked for you? Free tip right there. There it is.
- 46:10Speaker 3: Hey, shout out to AI for the one thing that
- 46:12Speaker 3: it did for me. It taught me how to actually
- 46:13Speaker 3: treat myself better and look just slightly decent. It's hard, though,
- 46:17Speaker 3: because I do wake up and I look like a
- 46:18Speaker 3: freaking chicken with its hair everywhere. And I'm still learning
- 46:22Speaker 3: how to use the hair dryer and stuff like that.
- 46:24Speaker 3: But the guys that get it?
- 46:26Speaker 1: Get it.
- 46:26Speaker 2: They get it.
- 46:27Speaker 1: They get it.
- 46:27Speaker 2: What would be the next thing, though? I guess it's then, like.
- 46:29Speaker 1: Plastic surgery, baby.
- 46:31Speaker 2: Nah, I don't know about all that. I don't got
- 46:32Speaker 2: that money.
- 46:32Speaker 1: Get you that Zac Efron jaw implant.
- 46:35Speaker 2: That would be crazy. I come in here, and I'm
- 46:36Speaker 2: just like.
- 46:36Speaker 1: Get you some filler.
- 46:37Speaker 2: Big old jaw. Who did I see the other day
- 46:39Speaker 2: with the thin cheeks?
- 46:40Speaker 3: And I was like, oh, that's that thing that Abby
- 46:42Speaker 3: talked about.
- 46:42Speaker 1: Oh, the buckle fat? Yeah. Removal?
- 46:44Speaker 2: I'm seeing a lot of that now.
- 46:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 46:45Speaker 3: Some guy on TV recently was like, yeah, that's that thing.
- 46:49Speaker 3: He got the fat taken out of his face.
- 46:51Speaker 2: You think Tom Brady did that?
- 46:52Speaker 1: Maybe.
- 46:53Speaker 2: Because he has that sharp face now, too. I know
- 46:54Speaker 2: he eats healthy.
- 46:55Speaker 3: But I don't know if eating healthy just takes away
- 46:58Speaker 3: a little bit of cheek.
- 46:59Speaker 1: What is your next physical goal? Because, of course, all
- 47:00Speaker 1: roads lead back to our body's morphia. Yeah, yeah.
- 47:02Speaker 2: Let's make sure we end on that. I think I'm
- 47:04Speaker 2: going to go on Project Six Pack.
- 47:05Speaker 1: What does that mean?
- 47:06Speaker 2: Like, I need to thin out again.
- 47:08Speaker 1: Don't you have a six pack?
- 47:10Speaker 2: Nah.
- 47:11Speaker 1: Nah. Don't you get a little love weight?
- 47:13Speaker 2: I mean, yeah. I'm eating pretty good.
- 47:17Speaker 1: Are you?
- 47:17Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. I mean, throughout the week, I eat, like,
- 47:21Speaker 2: very plain, very boring. Yeah, I know.
- 47:22Speaker 1: That's not what I meant.
- 47:24Speaker 2: Oh, my God. Just hit it. Alright, I got you.
- 47:27Speaker 3: But I am not necessarily thrilled with how I look
- 47:33Speaker 3: right now.
- 47:33Speaker 2: I'm happier now than I was like two weeks ago.
- 47:36Speaker 2: That's progress.
- 47:37Speaker 1: Did you get skinty this week?
- 47:39Speaker 2: Thinner, I would say.
- 47:40Speaker 1: Is it because Warren Sapp injected you with the Zemp?
- 47:43Speaker 2: Yeah, he's like, and here's another thing. He stuck it
- 47:46Speaker 2: in my ass. He was like, ah, you got me.
- 47:49Speaker 2: And I couldn't eat any more of the brisket that
- 47:50Speaker 2: I had served up for me.
- 47:52Speaker 1: He's like, bend over.
- 47:53Speaker 2: I've just been like, because I'm running more, I've decided
- 47:56Speaker 2: to ask.
- 47:56Speaker 1: For Christmas, I'm getting you a t-shirt that says, Warren
- 47:58Speaker 1: Sapp gave me a sipping at the Bud Light tailgate.
- 48:02Speaker 2: It would be funny if it just kept going on.
- 48:04Speaker 2: Just more and more info of it. I would wear it.
- 48:06Speaker 2: Because of how he drew it, I would wear it.
- 48:08Speaker 2: No problem wearing it.
- 48:09Speaker 1: I can't wait to get that for you. Son of
- 48:11Speaker 1: a gun.
- 48:13Speaker 2: But anyway, that's my next project for my body.
- 48:14Speaker 1: I got a GLP. I got my GLP-1 at the
- 48:17Speaker 1: Bud Light tailgate. Anyway, what were you saying?
- 48:23Speaker 2: I talked over you.
- 48:23Speaker 3: Anyway, I'm just saying project six pack. It's like, it's
- 48:25Speaker 3: just thin back. I want to lose like five pounds
- 48:27Speaker 3: and just be like, feel thin, not thin, but feel
- 48:30Speaker 3: like just tight again.
- 48:31Speaker 1: Do you think we could partner with crunch or somebody
- 48:34Speaker 1: for both of us to get on that train? Cause
- 48:36Speaker 1: I want to have a six pack. Yeah. Or not
- 48:38Speaker 1: a six pack, but I want to have like the
- 48:40Speaker 1: coyote ugly body. Do you know what I'm talking about?
- 48:42Speaker 1: Like the low rise jeans body. I'm not there. Like
- 48:45Speaker 1: I look fine in like a, or I look good
- 48:46Speaker 1: in a swimsuit, but I want to look like ridiculous
- 48:49Speaker 1: in a pair of jeans.
- 48:50Speaker 3: Well, you definitely should reach out for crunch. Cause if
- 48:52Speaker 3: we can both be on crunch, I don't know what
- 48:54Speaker 3: they do for it, but yeah, you got to reach
- 48:56Speaker 3: out to our boy in sales.
- 48:57Speaker 1: Okay.
- 48:58Speaker 2: A homeboy and get on that list.
- 49:00Speaker 1: Nobody wants to sell me. I did get one email.
- 49:02Speaker 2: From who? Or like for what?
- 49:04Speaker 1: For a pool company.
- 49:06Speaker 2: That's cool.
- 49:07Speaker 1: I'm like, are they going to get me a pool?
- 49:08Speaker 1: That'd be sick.
- 49:09Speaker 3: That would be nice because I know some of them
- 49:10Speaker 3: like you actually have to get it in order to
- 49:13Speaker 3: talk about it.
- 49:13Speaker 1: I know. So maybe it's just like an ad read endorsement.
- 49:16Speaker 2: Could you get a pool at your place? Is there
- 49:17Speaker 2: room for a pool?
- 49:19Speaker 1: Maybe like an above ground pool.
- 49:20Speaker 2: Pool.
- 49:20Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah. Can you imagine? My parents would be so pissed.
- 49:22Speaker 2: They come home and there's a pool.
- 49:24Speaker 1: Just, like, a hot tub in the back. What's up, bitches?
- 49:26Speaker 1: This is my castle now.
- 49:29Speaker 2: That would be so funny. You're just sitting in the
- 49:31Speaker 2: hot tub with, like, a drink in your hand as
- 49:33Speaker 2: they walk in. They're like, Abby, what the fuck?
- 49:35Speaker 1: I'm putting it in the living room.
- 49:36Speaker 2: That's so funny.
- 49:38Speaker 1: Because we have a sunken living room.
- 49:40Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 49:41Speaker 1: I just get it built into the wall.
- 49:42Speaker 2: That'd be so great. That's something like a massive creator
- 49:46Speaker 2: would do. That would be awesome.
- 49:48Speaker 1: I put it in their room. I'm like, you guys
- 49:49Speaker 1: are never here.
- 49:50Speaker 2: You're never here, so I put a hot tub in.
- 49:52Speaker 2: I felt like it would be better for the zen.
- 49:54Speaker 2: That's honestly on my vision boards. I want a hot tub.
- 49:56Speaker 2: More than a pool. I want a hot tub. And
- 49:58Speaker 2: just put it on the back.
- 49:59Speaker 1: Pools are overrated.
- 50:00Speaker 2: Yeah. I'm so privileged that I grew up with a pool,
- 50:04Speaker 2: and it was awesome, but I also understand why people
- 50:06Speaker 2: say that, because we used it a little bit yeah
- 50:09Speaker 2: but it wasn't like every day it's a lot of
- 50:12Speaker 2: money out of it it's a lot of maintenance and
- 50:14Speaker 2: i know because i was the one that had to
- 50:15Speaker 2: go brush it and skim it when my dad didn't
- 50:17Speaker 2: want to do it and he i think my dad
- 50:19Speaker 2: finally just decided he's like you know what i'm getting
- 50:22Speaker 2: a pool boy i always get a pool boy oh
- 50:25Speaker 2: because you.
- 50:25Speaker 3: Don't want to do it anymore 20 years later he's
- 50:27Speaker 3: like i'm done i'm done cleaning the damn pool i've
- 50:29Speaker 3: got a pool boy but what would be nice is
- 50:31Speaker 3: like what alexia has she has that Above ground pool?
- 50:33Speaker 1: See, that's what I'm saying. I'm like, I wonder if
- 50:35Speaker 1: that's the kind of pool I can get in my backyard.
- 50:37Speaker 1: Because that's a pretty, like... It's basically a giant... And
- 50:40Speaker 1: I mean this complimentary. It's like a giant tin can pool. Yeah.
- 50:43Speaker 2: That circulates water. Put an umbrella over it. That's all
- 50:46Speaker 2: you need. These really expensive pools that, like, you use once.
- 50:50Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 50:51Speaker 1: Yeah, all I want to do is sit and have
- 50:53Speaker 1: a bev.
- 50:53Speaker 2: Yeah, sit and bev and, like, float.
- 50:55Speaker 1: Bop around.
- 50:56Speaker 2: There you go. Make that deal happen.
- 50:58Speaker 1: Go.
- 50:59Speaker 2: Go get that pool.
- 51:00Speaker 1: Abby, for blah, blah, blah, blank pools.
- 51:03Speaker 2: There you go. I would buy. I'd be your first buyer.
- 51:05Speaker 1: Hell yeah, brother.
- 51:06Speaker 2: I'm using code.
- 51:07Speaker 1: Use code. This shouldn't be in my parents' house 20
- 51:11Speaker 1: for 20% off.
- 51:13Speaker 3: I would love to see the reaction that you walk
- 51:15Speaker 3: home and there's a pool in the backyard.
- 51:17Speaker 2: I thought this place needed a little.
- 51:19Speaker 1: Sparkle. Oh, yeah. I've got ideas. One day, like, right
- 51:23Speaker 1: before I move out, I'm just going to do, like,
- 51:24Speaker 1: a whole rental and be like, I just thought this
- 51:26Speaker 1: place needed a little spruce up.
- 51:27Speaker 2: I just, I thought, I just, a little, taste it
- 51:29Speaker 2: up a little bit.
- 51:30Speaker 1: Hmm.
- 51:31Speaker 3: Leave you a little special mark on it. Girl, I
- 51:33Speaker 3: feel like sometimes you like to stir the pot. Anyway, well,
- 51:37Speaker 3: before we go, any other things, Abby, as you're going
- 51:40Speaker 3: into the.
- 51:40Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, it's just so many things.
- 51:42Speaker 2: So many things.
- 51:42Speaker 1: But that's it for me for before the weekend.
- 51:44Speaker 3: Y'all, thank you for the comment. Let me see you
- 51:46Speaker 3: just really quick. Let me just check on the comments because.
- 51:48Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 51:49Speaker 1: Make sure they're nice.
- 51:50Speaker 2: They're always nice.
- 51:51Speaker 1: Don't make me go into Friday feeling sad about myself.
- 51:53Speaker 2: I'm saying, I will say, like, you all in the
- 51:55Speaker 2: comments are incredible.
- 51:57Speaker 1: Oh, look at this.
- 51:57Speaker 2: Amanda said, Scotty, get the Tacoma. Thank you. Talking about
- 52:03Speaker 2: my dream car. I mean, is.
- 52:04Speaker 1: It too late? Are you going to get the Tacoma?
- 52:06Speaker 1: I mean, is it off the list?
- 52:08Speaker 3: It's not off the list, but it does put me
- 52:09Speaker 3: back into the gas car range, and they don't get
- 52:12Speaker 3: great gas mileage, but maybe for a little fun for
- 52:14Speaker 3: a little bit.
- 52:14Speaker 1: But then you can sing that song.
- 52:16Speaker 2: Blue Tacoma, California. That'd be sweet. Oh, there we go. Okay.
- 52:22Speaker 2: Got another comment that says, Scotty, get the car that
- 52:25Speaker 2: you want one model year older.
- 52:27Speaker 1: See? See?
- 52:29Speaker 2: That gets all the... Oh, the Mustang is a great car.
- 52:31Speaker 2: Very fast, very nice.
- 52:33Speaker 1: Okay.
- 52:33Speaker 2: Oh, somebody did say get Warren Sapp merch. Made up.
- 52:37Speaker 1: See, I'm telling you, I feel like that'd be so funny.
- 52:39Speaker 1: When's your birthday?
- 52:41Speaker 3: It's like in three weeks, October 18th. We're like right
- 52:45Speaker 3: around the corner.
- 52:46Speaker 1: I have your birthday gift. I got my, I'm just
- 52:49Speaker 1: getting you a shirt that said I got my GOP one.
- 52:51Speaker 2: That'd be so funny.
- 52:52Speaker 1: At the Bud Light tailgate, but I'm going to put
- 52:53Speaker 1: Warren Sapp's face on it.
- 52:57Speaker 2: I feel like something's going to come after me. I
- 52:59Speaker 2: don't know.
- 53:00Speaker 3: What?
- 53:00Speaker 1: You haven't disparaged him. You just said what happened.
- 53:03Speaker 2: That's exactly right. That's how I feel about it, too.
- 53:05Speaker 1: And we have it on camera.
- 53:06Speaker 2: That's exactly right.
- 53:07Speaker 1: That's the thing. You literally have the whole experience on
- 53:09Speaker 1: camera of him being like, what?
- 53:11Speaker 2: You know what I like?
- 53:11Speaker 3: I liked Brianda's comment on the video. She was like,
- 53:13Speaker 3: get the security guard on because we know that security guard.
- 53:16Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. I would love to hear his interpretation of it.
- 53:19Speaker 1: Oh, let's ask him. Can we get him on Tuesday?
- 53:21Speaker 2: We could try. I'll reach out to Mike to see
- 53:23Speaker 2: if we could get his contact because I.
- 53:25Speaker 1: Would love to hear.
- 53:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 53:26Speaker 1: Mike O, our favorite person who gets all of the
- 53:28Speaker 1: best seats to all the best places.
- 53:30Speaker 2: He's Mr. Tampa Bay.
- 53:31Speaker 3: Like, forget any of us, any of us doing the thing.
- 53:33Speaker 3: He knows everybody and knows how.
- 53:34Speaker 2: To get everything.
- 53:35Speaker 3: Uh-huh.
- 53:35Speaker 1: Shout out, Mike O. Love you.
- 53:36Speaker 3: That's going to be the job. The next couple episodes,
- 53:39Speaker 3: going to try to get the security guard's point of view.
- 53:40Speaker 3: Because I bet he was, like, flabbergasted.
- 53:43Speaker 1: Or maybe he's used to it because he was standing
- 53:44Speaker 1: next to him the whole time, no?
- 53:46Speaker 3: But, like, yeah, he's probably just putting on a smile of, like, okay, yeah,
- 53:49Speaker 3: I got to play it cool because I'm a security.
- 53:50Speaker 2: But I wonder in his head, is he, like, Oh, fuck.
- 53:54Speaker 2: This guy's such a... This guy's a dick. Like, keeping
- 53:57Speaker 2: a straight face.
- 53:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 53:59Speaker 2: Because he kept looking at the security guard as I'm
- 54:00Speaker 2: trying to, like, plead my case for him to take
- 54:02Speaker 2: a picture with me. And the security guard's just like...
- 54:04Speaker 2: It's like, you're really not going to take a picture
- 54:06Speaker 2: with him?
- 54:07Speaker 1: No. Nope.
- 54:07Speaker 2: I look like an idiot. I can't wait to talk
- 54:09Speaker 2: to that security guard.
- 54:10Speaker 1: I can't wait to make your t-shirt. Well.
- 54:12Speaker 2: I got my GLP-1.
- 54:14Speaker 1: In the ass, in the Bud Light tailgate.
- 54:17Speaker 2: Keep the comments going. The ratings. And send this podcast
- 54:21Speaker 2: to somebody... And if.
- 54:22Speaker 3: There's ever anything that you want to know more about
- 54:25Speaker 3: or get more involved in, just put it in the
- 54:27Speaker 3: comments and I'll read them through after every episode.
- 54:29Speaker 2: Y'all, we'll see you tomorrow.
