- 0:12Speaker 1: It's hell no, no, no, no, no, no, and lo and low.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Welcome to the naughty but niceh I'm your host, drop
- 0:18Speaker 1: Shooter as Tuesday morning, so my dear friend Miss d
- 0:22Speaker 1: is with us. Hey, Delina, are you there? I am.
- 0:25Speaker 2: How are you feeling this morning, mister shooter.
- 0:28Speaker 1: I'm feeling a little better, naughtyse Thank you for being
- 0:31Speaker 1: so kind. Yesterday I had a bit of a bit
- 0:32Speaker 1: of a cold, but I had lots of honey, lots
- 0:35Speaker 1: of tea, and so today I'm feeling much better. So
- 0:38Speaker 1: thank you, thank you, thank you. I've got a rave
- 0:39Speaker 1: about something too, mister. I went to see the best
- 0:43Speaker 1: show over the week end. It's called The Heart of
- 0:46Speaker 1: Rock and Roll. It's Uie Louis some book. I didn't
- 0:51Speaker 1: have very high expectations. A friend invited me. We went along.
- 0:54Speaker 1: I laughed out, lad, it's the funniest new show of
- 0:58Speaker 1: the season. It is laugh out and it is shockingly touching.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Guy got a little bit weepy at.
- 1:05Speaker 2: Oh my goodness. I love Huey Lewis. So it is
- 1:08Speaker 2: the next show that I have to put on my calendar.
- 1:11Speaker 1: Maybe you'll go again, Yeah, put it on your list.
- 1:14Speaker 1: My friend Pete our friend Pete is doing the pr
- 1:17Speaker 1: for it. So Pete invited me along and I literally
- 1:19Speaker 1: dragged my heels. I gotta be honest, if you hadn't
- 1:21Speaker 1: invited me, the chance of me going was not good.
- 1:23Speaker 1: But don't be put off like me. You get to
- 1:26Speaker 1: really miss out if you want to see a really great, fabulous,
- 1:29Speaker 1: funny show that you leave the theater dancing and happy
- 1:33Speaker 1: and singing. It is the heart of ruck and Roll. Okay,
- 1:37Speaker 1: let's jump into Asher. Hopefully you'll feel the same about us.
- 1:40Speaker 1: What time is it, my friends? It is tea time.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Big story. At the top of the show, Kim Kardashian
- 1:45Speaker 1: has broken her silence after the Taylor Swift feud has reignited.
- 1:51Speaker 1: She was on Jimmy Kimmel last night. This was all
- 1:55Speaker 1: arranged months ago. When you get on Jimmy, you don't
- 1:58Speaker 1: get booked that day. You do it at t three
- 2:00Speaker 1: weeks in advance, so they knew the album was coming out.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Kim was booked now. Jimmy did make a little bit
- 2:06Speaker 1: of fun about Swift's new album in his monologue, but
- 2:10Speaker 1: he did not ask Kim any questions about it. He
- 2:14Speaker 1: asked her how she was doing, and she was all smiles,
- 2:17Speaker 1: and she told everybody quote, life is good now. Insiders
- 2:22Speaker 1: tell me this was all arranged. There was a discussion backstage.
- 2:25Speaker 1: When celebrities do shows like this, they talk about what
- 2:28Speaker 1: they want to talk about, what they don't want to
- 2:29Speaker 1: talk about. They even do something called a pre interview mysteria.
- 2:33Speaker 1: This is when you get on the phone with a
- 2:35Speaker 1: producer and you go over the whole segment so there's
- 2:37Speaker 1: no surprises, so it's like a rehearsal basically, so they
- 2:40Speaker 1: knew what was going to be asked, what wasn't going
- 2:42Speaker 1: to be asked. She doesn't want to talk about this.
- 2:44Speaker 1: I'm told that Kim wants to move on. She doesn't
- 2:47Speaker 1: want this brought up again. She's upset that Taylor has
- 2:50Speaker 1: done a new song in which it's pretty obvious she's
- 2:53Speaker 1: talking about Kim, but Kim would rather just say nothing.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Do you think that's a good strategy.
- 2:59Speaker 2: Yeah, we talk about this all the time that sometimes
- 3:01Speaker 2: you just can't respond to what's going on. And if
- 3:03Speaker 2: anybody doesn't remember, basically, this goes back to when Kim
- 3:07Speaker 2: was married to Kanye West and he had an album
- 3:10Speaker 2: that mentioned that he was having sex with Taylor Swift.
- 3:12Speaker 2: And then he called her the B word, and Kim
- 3:15Speaker 2: said that Taylor had signed off on that. Even though
- 3:18Speaker 2: Taylor did say that that was not the case, she
- 3:21Speaker 2: didn't know that word was going to be used. So
- 3:23Speaker 2: I think it's been about eight years since that happened.
- 3:27Speaker 2: Kim just wants to put it behind her. She's not
- 3:29Speaker 2: even married to Kanye anymore. She's working on other projects
- 3:33Speaker 2: that are much more important. The last thing she wants
- 3:36Speaker 2: to do is talk about a Taylor Swift feud with
- 3:38Speaker 2: a man she's no longer with.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Right right, right, Yes, sources are suggesting that at the time,
- 3:44Speaker 1: Kim was influenced by loyalty to her husband, Kanye West,
- 3:48Speaker 1: and so that's why she went along with this. But
- 3:50Speaker 1: you know, the best way to put something behind you,
- 3:53Speaker 1: in general naughties is to say sorry. The best way
- 3:58Speaker 1: and something to move on is to apologize. And if
- 4:01Speaker 1: I was Kim, I'd say sorry. Would I would say
- 4:04Speaker 1: sorry to Taylor. The way that you treated Taylor back
- 4:07Speaker 1: then just wasn't right. And yes, you were defending your husband,
- 4:11Speaker 1: and that is very, very admirable. I agree with that. However,
- 4:15Speaker 1: your husband here was in the wrong and what he
- 4:18Speaker 1: did to Taylor swift was not good and kick me
- 4:22Speaker 1: on the wrong side of this argument. You really are
- 4:24Speaker 1: so I understand why you want to ignore it because
- 4:27Speaker 1: it's not pretty, But the only way you can actually
- 4:30Speaker 1: move on from it is by confronting it. I found
- 4:33Speaker 1: this in my life, misty things that make me uncomfortable.
- 4:36Speaker 1: I know when I've messed up. I know ande I've
- 4:38Speaker 1: done something naughty. I pretend it didn't happen. I just
- 4:40Speaker 1: ignored it. That's the old rob. Now I don't I
- 4:43Speaker 1: say I'm really sorry, my behavior was wrong. I'm really sorry,
- 4:46Speaker 1: and then you actually have a real chance. It might
- 4:50Speaker 1: not happen, but at least you have a chance of
- 4:52Speaker 1: moving on. Oh.
- 4:53Speaker 2: I definitely agree, but I will add this one little
- 4:56Speaker 2: caveat Kim cant apologize to Taylor, but it actually has
- 5:00Speaker 2: to be done in private, and Taylor has to be
- 5:02Speaker 2: the one to say, oh, Kim and I have spoken
- 5:05Speaker 2: and she has apologized, because if Kem just apologizes and
- 5:09Speaker 2: because she's a celebrity, people will be like, oh, that's
- 5:12Speaker 2: was insensitive or it's not genuine. So Taylor has to
- 5:15Speaker 2: be the one to say, oh, yes, Ken and I
- 5:18Speaker 2: have spoken and we are cool with one another. I
- 5:21Speaker 2: know that sounds crazy. It's just celebrity life. But that's
- 5:24Speaker 2: how it works.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Yeah, it doesn't sound crazy, mister. When I upset people,
- 5:28Speaker 1: I don't apologize on social media. I will if they
- 5:31Speaker 1: want me to. If I've humiliated them, I will. But
- 5:33Speaker 1: you reach out to somebody, you text them. Bruce got
- 5:36Speaker 1: some great news yesterday about Harmony He's musical with Mary
- 5:40Speaker 1: Manilo being nominated for a reward. Lots of people responded
- 5:44Speaker 1: on social media best Musical. It was a really exciting
- 5:47Speaker 1: nomination with really excited about it. We've got a shot
- 5:49Speaker 1: of everyone's really thrilled about it. A few people, though,
- 5:53Speaker 1: only said congratulations on social media, like people that he
- 5:57Speaker 1: thought were his friends. And so I reach out. If
- 6:01Speaker 1: you have the phone number, if you have vir my email,
- 6:04Speaker 1: use it like that's how you contact people. Kim could
- 6:07Speaker 1: get in touch with Taylor. There is a communication channel
- 6:11Speaker 1: between the publicist between their people. They could arrange a
- 6:14Speaker 1: phone call. And if I was Kim, I'd say that
- 6:16Speaker 1: my people today instead of booking me on Jimmy Kimmel
- 6:19Speaker 1: to sell my new bras or whatever she was selling,
- 6:22Speaker 1: Let's get me on the phone for ten minutes with
- 6:24Speaker 1: Taylor Taylor might not want to do it. Taylor might
- 6:26Speaker 1: say no because the last time Kim was on the
- 6:28Speaker 1: phone with her, Kim allegedly illegally recorded the conversation. Remember that.
- 6:33Speaker 1: And so there's a lot of stuff here. There's a
- 6:34Speaker 1: lot of water over the bridge. But the way to
- 6:36Speaker 1: move on is not to ignore it. Let's also point
- 6:39Speaker 1: out to Kim's taking a little bit of a hit here.
- 6:42Speaker 1: She lost about one hundred thousand Instagram followers after Taylor
- 6:46Speaker 1: released the track. She still has hundreds of millions or
- 6:50Speaker 1: one hundred thousand does not mean that much to her.
- 6:52Speaker 1: My goodness, it would be life changing to me, but
- 6:54Speaker 1: to Kim not that much. But nevertheless, there is a
- 6:58Speaker 1: little bit of a backlash going on, which brings to
- 7:00Speaker 1: our pole question of the day. Kim Kardashian remains largely
- 7:04Speaker 1: unbothered by Taylor Smith's dis preferring to not re engage
- 7:08Speaker 1: in the feud. Is this a good idea or should
- 7:12Speaker 1: she respond? Hey, go vote on our Twitter page at
- 7:15Speaker 1: Naughty n Ice rob our Facebook pages Naughty Gossip. Be sure
- 7:19Speaker 1: to check back tomorrow to hear your results. Hey, mister you,
- 7:22Speaker 1: what are you working on?
- 7:23Speaker 2: Well, it looks like the double m's stick together because
- 7:27Speaker 2: Melissa McCarthy has spoken out in support of Meghan Markle,
- 7:32Speaker 2: obviously the Duchess of Sussex. Melissa is criticizing those who
- 7:36Speaker 2: unjustly attacked and criticize Meghan despite her inspiring qualities. So
- 7:42Speaker 2: Melissa finds it perplexing that someone as awesome and inspiring
- 7:47Speaker 2: in quotes as Meghan Markle could be the subject of
- 7:50Speaker 2: such unwarranted hostility. She says, it bums me out for
- 7:54Speaker 2: every woman and every person that for no reason, people
- 7:58Speaker 2: just like to attack. She told them to page six,
- 8:01Speaker 2: A smart, interesting woman that has her own life for
- 8:05Speaker 2: some reason is incredibly threatening to people. This is, of course,
- 8:09Speaker 2: talking about Meghan. Melissa went on to say, I always
- 8:13Speaker 2: think how inspiring. I've never once been threatened by someone
- 8:17Speaker 2: who is amazing. I just think how inspiring. So it's
- 8:21Speaker 2: really on those people throwing hate now, of course, Rob.
- 8:25Speaker 2: You know I can't say anything bad about Meghan because
- 8:27Speaker 2: I was once mistaken to be her mom, so I
- 8:30Speaker 2: have a place in my heart for her. But I
- 8:32Speaker 2: know a lot of people criticize her, even some of
- 8:34Speaker 2: my friends do. So what do you think is going
- 8:37Speaker 2: on here? Rob?
- 8:38Speaker 1: I think Melissa has hit the nail on the head
- 8:41Speaker 1: first of all. Kudust to our friend Nicki Gostin at
- 8:43Speaker 1: page six for getting this interview. She was on the
- 8:45Speaker 1: red carpet at the musical stuffs. Hillary Clinton was there,
- 8:47Speaker 1: There's Melissa McCarthy, and only Nicky was smart enough to
- 8:50Speaker 1: make the connection with Meghan mark Or. They're friends, and
- 8:52Speaker 1: so she asked her about Meghan. It's such a great
- 8:55Speaker 1: interview and it's such a great answer. And I've done
- 8:57Speaker 1: this too. I've lashed out. I've said cruel things about
- 9:00Speaker 1: people I'm jealous of. I have people that threaten me.
- 9:03Speaker 1: Sometimes if I have a nasty comment or a thought
- 9:06Speaker 1: in my mind, I often ask myself, well, why do
- 9:09Speaker 1: you think that? And often, if I'm really honest, it's
- 9:12Speaker 1: because I'm a little bit jealous, I'm a little bit threatened.
- 9:15Speaker 1: I think when we're threatened by people, we lash out.
- 9:18Speaker 1: And Melissa is saying, we don't need to do this.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Instead of being threatened, be inspired, think about it. Train
- 9:26Speaker 1: your brain so the next time you feel threatened, acknowledge
- 9:30Speaker 1: the feeling, take a moment and saying no, no, no,
- 9:33Speaker 1: instead of lashing out, I'm gonna look inward and be inspired.
- 9:37Speaker 1: It's changed my life. Misty people that I used to
- 9:40Speaker 1: be jealous of now I follow on Instagram and I
- 9:43Speaker 1: don't get jealous anymore. I get inspired to be a
- 9:46Speaker 1: better me. And I think Meghan can do that too.
- 9:49Speaker 1: There are things about Meghan that rub people the wrong way.
- 9:52Speaker 1: I get it, and the Harry stuff, But Harry is
- 9:54Speaker 1: a grown man. Harry made his own decisions. Here. It's
- 9:57Speaker 1: Harry's family, not Meghan's here, and so I think here
- 10:00Speaker 1: we should lay off Megan a little bit. And remember,
- 10:03Speaker 1: if you really don't like her, look in the mirror
- 10:06Speaker 1: and ask why, and it might be that she threatens you.
- 10:13Speaker 2: I would certainly agree with that. And look, we all
- 10:17Speaker 2: have this emotion called envy. I totally get it. I
- 10:21Speaker 2: have to check myself sometimes as well. But as a
- 10:26Speaker 2: very wise man once said, his name happens to be
- 10:28Speaker 2: Rob Shooter. When he's jealous of someone or envious, he says, well,
- 10:33Speaker 2: what was their blueprint? And how can I use that
- 10:35Speaker 2: in my own life to get where I need to go?
- 10:38Speaker 2: So I always think about that, I say, and let
- 10:40Speaker 2: me know again, get angry, just.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Then look a look at that blueprint and say, do
- 10:45Speaker 1: I really want it? When I look at people who
- 10:48Speaker 1: have jobs on TV that I'm jealous of. I say,
- 10:51Speaker 1: I don't want to get up at four in the
- 10:52Speaker 1: morning and work for a local station. I don't want
- 10:54Speaker 1: to do that. When I go to the gym and
- 10:56Speaker 1: I see guys in the dressing rooms with their six
- 10:59Speaker 1: pack abs, oh gosh, I love I'd love to have
- 11:01Speaker 1: one of those, Misty, But I don't want to do
- 11:03Speaker 1: the work. So I know the blueprint. I know how
- 11:06Speaker 1: to get what I think I want. The question is
- 11:09Speaker 1: are you willing to do the work? And honestly, a
- 11:12Speaker 1: lot of the times I'm not, And that's just fine.
- 11:15Speaker 1: I'm not going to get those abs if I don't
- 11:16Speaker 1: do those synups. And I'm not doing those synups because
- 11:19Speaker 1: I'd rather be having a drink with Miss d. That's
- 11:21Speaker 1: the end of that, Okay. Moving along, Tom Cruise appeared
- 11:24Speaker 1: at the Beckham birthday party over the weekend, and this
- 11:27Speaker 1: seems to nab squashed all the rumors that there was
- 11:29Speaker 1: a feud. If you remember, they were really really good friends.
- 11:33Speaker 1: The Beckhams were at his wedding to Kat and Homes
- 11:36Speaker 1: in Italy and they were super close in the two thousands,
- 11:40Speaker 1: and then suddenly we didn't see them together at all. Really.
- 11:44Speaker 1: The last time I think we saw them together was
- 11:46Speaker 1: about two thousand and thirteen. This is ten years ago. However,
- 11:52Speaker 1: Victoria Beckham turned fifty over the weekend in London. Who
- 11:56Speaker 1: showed up at the party? Tom Cruise. He didn't just
- 11:58Speaker 1: show up, miss d He was breakdancing. He was having
- 12:01Speaker 1: a great time there. Now reports that the Beckhams were
- 12:05Speaker 1: so star struck with Tom Cruise that they've got a
- 12:08Speaker 1: photograph of him up in the house. It's a picture
- 12:10Speaker 1: of the two of them together, you know, like you
- 12:12Speaker 1: have pictures up on your piano, on your bar and
- 12:14Speaker 1: your night table. Apparently there's a picture of the two
- 12:17Speaker 1: of them with Tom in their house. I like this.
- 12:20Speaker 1: I like feuds that can end. I do. It's fun
- 12:23Speaker 1: to have a little bit of a feud for a minute,
- 12:25Speaker 1: a week, maybe a month. But I also enjoy very
- 12:28Speaker 1: much ending the feud. I'm happy that they're friends again.
- 12:32Speaker 2: Yeah. I think the key in this story is that
- 12:35Speaker 2: Victoria Bagham turned fifty years old. She looks absolutely fabulous.
- 12:39Speaker 2: But I think when you get to that age, you're
- 12:40Speaker 2: a little older, you're a little wiser, and you realize
- 12:43Speaker 2: some things are petty, whatever petty caused this situation, It's
- 12:48Speaker 2: time to move on. You know, life is precious. Friendship
- 12:51Speaker 2: is pession. Friendship is precious. Relationships are precious. And if
- 12:55Speaker 2: you can get over whatever it was, whatever small thing
- 12:58Speaker 2: that caused you to fall out, isn't it more important
- 13:01Speaker 2: to have those things in your life that happiness?
- 13:04Speaker 1: Do it, mistake, do it? I call it putting down
- 13:07Speaker 1: the sword. I've been carrying this sword around. It's so heavy.
- 13:11Speaker 1: I've been swinging it. I've been furious. I'm always ready
- 13:15Speaker 1: to go to battle. Put down the sword. Just drop it.
- 13:19Speaker 1: You feel so much better. Life is so much lighter.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Put down the sword. Okay, misty, quickly, before we get
- 13:27Speaker 1: a break. Parents are concerned about Taylor Swift's new album
- 13:30Speaker 1: Please Explain.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Yeah. So her new album kind Of she's an adult
- 13:34Speaker 2: as well, it has explicit language, darker themes, including references
- 13:39Speaker 2: to sex, harm, violence, and death. So the album features
- 13:43Speaker 2: several explicit songs with warning labels, and it's sparked a
- 13:47Speaker 2: debate online for parents, especially parents of tweens, so whether
- 13:51Speaker 2: they should let their children listen to the album. So
- 13:54Speaker 2: Tanya Handcott emphasize that while she's tolerant of the curse words.
- 13:58Speaker 1: It's a couple of.
- 13:59Speaker 2: F bombs and this album. She finds the album's darker content,
- 14:03Speaker 2: this is not something she wants her kids to listen to.
- 14:07Speaker 2: A woman named Stephanie de Vaughn questioned the album's suitability
- 14:11Speaker 2: for younger audiences, giving its title Tortured Poets m Department. Yes,
- 14:18Speaker 2: so that's where it stands. I guess you can't let
- 14:20Speaker 2: your little kids listen.
- 14:21Speaker 1: What do you think, Yeah, I think you can. Like
- 14:25Speaker 1: Taylor Swift is a great person. She's a great role model.
- 14:28Speaker 1: If there's two words on an album that is thirty
- 14:30Speaker 1: two songs that we don't like, then I think we're
- 14:33Speaker 1: over reacting. The world is full of naughty language, of
- 14:37Speaker 1: saucy images. You can't watch primetime TV these days, Misty Gosh,
- 14:42Speaker 1: I sound so old fashioned without seeing something a little
- 14:44Speaker 1: bit racy. So I think give your kids the benefit
- 14:47Speaker 1: of the doubt here. They're smart. And just because Taylor's
- 14:50Speaker 1: going to say an F word, it's a little surprising.
- 14:53Speaker 1: This isn't who she is. She's not turning into somebody
- 14:56Speaker 1: that's dropping those bombs all the time. And I think
- 14:59Speaker 1: when you get frustrated, maybe even you do it, don't.
- 15:02Speaker 1: We don't use language like that on The Naughty but
- 15:04Speaker 1: Nic Show, and I don't actually use it that much
- 15:07Speaker 1: in my regular life. But there are times, miss Steve,
- 15:09Speaker 1: when I stubbed my toe, fall over, or I lose
- 15:12Speaker 1: my glasses. Well, I might use the F word too.
- 15:15Speaker 1: So I think if we're worried about Taylor being a
- 15:17Speaker 1: bad influence on our kids, we're barking up the wrong tree. Overall,
- 15:21Speaker 1: you've got to take people as holes, you got to
- 15:24Speaker 1: take life as a whole. There are always one or
- 15:26Speaker 1: two little details that you might not like, but overall,
- 15:30Speaker 1: eighty ninety ninety five percent of Taylor Swift is just
- 15:34Speaker 1: the best. Okay, we're going to take a quick break
- 15:36Speaker 1: and we read right back. Welcome back to the Naughty
- 15:41Speaker 1: but Nice run up. Shootok that dear friend, Miss d
- 15:44Speaker 1: Hay and Steve, let's get to the poles. Yesterday we
- 15:47Speaker 1: took about Taylor liking an unofficial post ranking her boyfriends
- 15:52Speaker 1: from from top to bottom? Was this funny? I think
- 15:56Speaker 1: you know my answer by my reaction already. Is this funny?
- 15:59Speaker 1: Or is petty? Let's have a look. Oh, eighty percent
- 16:02Speaker 1: think it is funny. She didn't rank them. She just
- 16:05Speaker 1: likes the post and the boyfriend she has at the moment.
- 16:08Speaker 1: Travis was number one, which she should be. If he
- 16:11Speaker 1: was at the bottom of the list, then she shouldn't
- 16:13Speaker 1: like it. But if your boyfriend's number one on the list,
- 16:15Speaker 1: I think it's a little bit cheeky and I love this.
- 16:18Speaker 1: It is funny. Don't forget to vote on today's poem.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Going to atwit a page had naughty nice rob or
- 16:24Speaker 1: a Facebook page which's naughty gossip, and be sure to
- 16:27Speaker 1: check back tomorrow to hear your results. And now it's
- 16:32Speaker 1: time for around the Nicest of the day.
- 16:35Speaker 2: Our nicest of the day is Celine Dion because she's
- 16:38Speaker 2: on the cover of Vogue France May twenty twenty four,
- 16:42Speaker 2: and she's making a stylish and bold statement at the
- 16:45Speaker 2: age of fifty five. Ooh, fifties are the new thirties, baby,
- 16:50Speaker 2: So the iconic singer. She's opened up about her health
- 16:53Speaker 2: issues and she's chocating her vibrant spirit and timeless beauty
- 16:59Speaker 2: now throughout the datorial spread and it's absolutely gorgeous. We
- 17:02Speaker 2: got some black and white photos in there. She's showing
- 17:05Speaker 2: joy and strength and a sense of empowerment and self assurance.
- 17:09Speaker 2: Lesson baby Selene Diont is charging forward and she is fabulous,
- 17:14Speaker 2: So let's go and support her and just scream out
- 17:18Speaker 2: how beautiful she is.
- 17:20Speaker 1: Beautiful. It is good to see you again, Selene, and
- 17:24Speaker 1: nicest of the day. And I noticed the day naughty, naughty,
- 17:27Speaker 1: naughty Nicki bin Aunt reacted rather swiftly to an object
- 17:30Speaker 1: being flown on stage. So this is wrong on many levels.
- 17:32Speaker 1: Don't throw objects at people on stage. This has been
- 17:36Speaker 1: a trend that I do not like. In a video,
- 17:39Speaker 1: it was captured that at a concert somebody threw something
- 17:43Speaker 1: at Nikki Well she managed to swat it away, and
- 17:46Speaker 1: then she picked up the item from the stage and
- 17:48Speaker 1: she made matters worse by hurling it back into the crowd.
- 17:51Speaker 1: So people threw stuff at her, she threw stuff at them.
- 17:54Speaker 1: Neither one is right here. Two wrongs do not make
- 17:57Speaker 1: a right. It's disturbed, being disturbing and naughty stuff the day.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Let's end with a moment of rap. You're gonn rub
- 18:04Speaker 1: you rub you rub Okay. This new research out and
- 18:06Speaker 1: I find this fascinating. They say in this new research,
- 18:10Speaker 1: scientific research that thinking about happiness actually makes you unhappy.
- 18:15Speaker 1: I'll say that again. If you think about being happy,
- 18:20Speaker 1: you end up being less happy. So instead of thinking
- 18:24Speaker 1: about being happy, start thinking about being happy er. You
- 18:30Speaker 1: want to be five ten percent happier. It's almost impossible
- 18:35Speaker 1: to become suddenly happy. It's quite easy to be happy er.
- 18:40Speaker 1: So think of all the things in your life, things
- 18:42Speaker 1: you can add to your life that won't make you happier.
- 18:45Speaker 1: Maybe it's spending more time with your friends or your family.
- 18:48Speaker 1: Maybe it's eating better. Maybe it's doing a little exercise.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Maybe it's walking your dog. Maybe it's buying a bunch
- 18:54Speaker 1: of flowers. You know, I love a bunch of flowers.
- 18:56Speaker 1: All these things I do every single day and they
- 18:58Speaker 1: make me happyer. That's how you find happiness. Hey, that
- 19:03Speaker 1: is it for today. Thank you so much for listening
- 19:07Speaker 1: to the Not Even Nice with Rob and Delaine show.
