  Speaker 1: we see how people respawn to the Gospel. According to Paul,

  Speaker 1: because whenever the word goes forth, a response follows either

  Speaker 1: the word says, So when the Jews went out of

  Speaker 1: the synagogue, the gentiles begged them these things, these words

  Speaker 1: might be preached to them the next Sabbath. Amen. Amen, Okay,

  Speaker 1: preached to them the next Sabbath. Now, when the congregation

  Speaker 1: had broken up, many of the Jews and devout proselytes
• 7:02
  Speaker 1: followed Paul and Barnabas, who speaking to them, persuaded them
• 7:08
  Speaker 1: to continue in the Gospel in the grace of God.

  Speaker 1: And the next Sabbath almost the whole city came together
• 7:15
  Speaker 1: to hear the word of God. Hallelujah. This is amazing

  Speaker 1: so far, this is a very positive response to the Gospel. Now,

  Speaker 1: the Gentiles, who were often pushed aside regularly, were spiritually hungry.

  Speaker 1: When they heard salvation was available through Christ. They wanted more.

  Speaker 1: It's like they got a taste of it. They wanted
• 7:51
  Speaker 1: to they wanted the whole feast. But meanwhile, many Jews
• 7:57
  Speaker 1: rejected or resisted this message. Now, truth often gets embraced
• 8:05
  Speaker 1: by those who you least expect. The people you expect
• 8:12
  Speaker 1: to embrace truth often are the ones who twist it. Now,
• 8:18
  Speaker 1: notice something powerful. The gentiles beg to hear more, not entertainment,
• 8:28
  Speaker 1: not impressed, but they were hungry. They were hungry for
• 8:34
  Speaker 1: more of the Word. And here's a question. When people
• 8:39
  Speaker 1: hear God's word today, are they being are they begging
• 8:44
  Speaker 1: excuse me for more? Or are they just bored? Real
• 8:51
  Speaker 1: gospel preaching produces hunger. My prayer is every time I
• 8:57
  Speaker 1: come into this podcast, I wet your appetite for more,

  Speaker 1: that you're even more and more hungry for the Word,

  Speaker 1: that you're not just bored or just it doesn't entertain
• 9:08
  Speaker 1: you to come, but you are quenching a thirst for

  Speaker 1: God when we meet together now forty three Now, when

  Speaker 1: the congregation had broken up, many of the Jews and

  Speaker 1: devout proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas, who speaking to them,

  Speaker 1: some Jews and converts follow Paul and Barnabas because they

  Speaker 1: of us need to continue in God's grace. Christianity is

  Speaker 1: not about law, It is about grace. Now. Notice Paul's

  Speaker 1: He didn't say join a religion, you need to become religious.

  Speaker 1: All he told him was continue in the grace of God.

  Speaker 1: Grace saves us, Grace sustains us, and grace changes us.

  Speaker 1: Grace is powerful. If you don't know about grace. Pastor

  Speaker 1: Chuck Smith of Cavid Chappel has a great book out

  Speaker 1: about the grace of God. How when he encountered God's

  Speaker 1: grace they touched them tremendously. And I do encourage you

  Speaker 1: new discipleship starts with grace, not performance. It's Guy's grace. Now.

  Speaker 1: The gospel will always create a response. Some will reject it,

  Speaker 1: some people will ignore it. Some people will hunger for more,

  Speaker 1: some being following become some people become followers of Christ.

  Speaker 1: The question is which response are you giving today? We

  Speaker 1: respond to the Gospel each and every day. Here we

  Speaker 1: respond to God each and every day as far as

  Speaker 1: our interaction in our relationship with Him. Amen, we can

  Speaker 1: have as much of God as we truly want. Now

  Speaker 1: my question is do you really understand the grace of God.

  Speaker 1: The Bible tells us that the grace of God teaches
• 12:40
  Speaker 1: us to deny ungodlikeness and worldly lust. And so for
• 12:46
  Speaker 1: years I've strived in my walk with God. I've strived
• 12:54
  Speaker 1: to do it in my own strength. I would read
• 12:58
  Speaker 1: the Bible and I would try to apply the word,
• 13:02
  Speaker 1: and my own ability always coming up short. It's a
• 13:04
  Speaker 1: frustrated thing when you want to please God, you want
• 13:07
  Speaker 1: to live for God, and you know God, you know
• 13:09
  Speaker 1: the word at least that you're not truly experiencing His power.
• 13:18
  Speaker 1: If I believe it says that many will have a
• 13:20
  Speaker 1: form of Godliness, but denying the power thereof. And it's
• 13:26
  Speaker 1: taking me a long time to learn this. Even when
• 13:29
  Speaker 1: I learn it, sometimes I fall back and forget. We
• 13:33
  Speaker 1: get so distracted. Now, God's presence has always been with me.
• 13:38
  Speaker 1: I believe that I've been saved this whole time, except
• 13:42
  Speaker 1: for the times when I backslid. But I would always
• 13:46
  Speaker 1: hit a plateau. I would always get so far and
• 13:49
  Speaker 1: it seems like I couldn't go all the way. Well,
• 13:56
  Speaker 1: what God is teaching me right now, He's teaching me
• 13:59
  Speaker 1: about his grace and we have to develop a true
• 14:06
  Speaker 1: and living relationship with the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit, I

  Speaker 1: ask it to you, you release your presence right now
• 14:14
  Speaker 1: through this podcast everyone listening, that you will manifest your presence.

  Speaker 1: And see, we are the temple of the Holy Spirit.

  Speaker 1: So let me explain something. You are either God's home

  Speaker 1: or you have demons and devils living inside of me.

  Speaker 1: I don't understand exactly how it works, but when you

  Speaker 1: look into scriptures, even demons they call us their home. Now,

  Speaker 1: demonic spirits are they don't have any body, so they're
• 14:53
  Speaker 1: looking for bodies that they can habit, that they can oppress.

  Speaker 1: They need eyes, a need ears, the need mouths to
• 15:02
  Speaker 1: operate in this world. And some people are completely taken
• 15:06
  Speaker 1: over by demons to where the demon is controlling the body.

  Speaker 1: And the way that happens is when we disobey God.

  Speaker 1: When we disobey God, these demons spirits get legal right,
• 15:21
  Speaker 1: they get legal access into our lives when it's a sin,
• 15:26
  Speaker 1: when it's something different, things that would encourage you to
• 15:29
  Speaker 1: study even further on it, on how we can open
• 15:32
  Speaker 1: up doors and we need to close those doors. It

  Speaker 1: could be the words we speak, It could be an
• 15:40
  Speaker 1: object or an item that is in our house. It
• 15:44
  Speaker 1: could be a person in your life planted by the
• 15:46
  Speaker 1: enemy to distract you, hinder you, delay you. So we

  Speaker 1: have to be very careful belove it. Now on the

  Speaker 1: flip side, the Holy Spirit comes to live inside of

  Speaker 1: us once we receive Christ as our Lord and savior.

  Speaker 1: This is what Jesus paid the penalty for His blood

  Speaker 1: washes us clean so that we can get back and
• 16:18
  Speaker 1: fellowship with God. And so our posture, our relationship, our

  Speaker 1: connection is yielding to the Holy Spirit. Now, if you
