- 1:43Speaker 1: does help others find our show. Hello lady, I hope
- 1:47Speaker 1: you had a fabulous time in New York. Very jealous
- 1:51Speaker 1: that you are in New York. Thank you for joining
- 1:55Speaker 1: me today, especially with me being late. Now, before we
- 2:00Speaker 1: get to today's cases, I wanted to let you know
- 2:04Speaker 1: in case you didn't know, that Dearest Mother's Darkest Secret
- 2:07Speaker 1: has returned on Mondays at nine pm Eastern for season
- 2:12Speaker 1: two and guys, this season, we are live streaming it. Okay,
- 2:17Speaker 1: and this series takes a deeper look at some of
- 2:20Speaker 1: the most disturbing and heartbreaking cases involving mothers and the
- 2:26Speaker 1: secrets that ultimately come to light. Tonight, I am covering
- 2:32Speaker 1: the case of Darley Routier, and Guys, I have lots
- 2:36Speaker 1: and lots of thoughts on this one, so you're going
- 2:40Speaker 1: to want to be sure to join me. I lived
- 2:43Speaker 1: in the area where this happened, and I have lots
- 2:48Speaker 1: of thoughts, and I'm going to be interested to learning
- 2:52Speaker 1: what others thoughts are that know this case. Now, guys,
- 2:58Speaker 1: if you follow True Crime and mind Time, you know
- 3:01Speaker 1: that we just finished last month a deep dive into
- 3:04Speaker 1: the Robert Hansen case. Guests, Like, guys, we are back
- 3:08Speaker 1: in freaking Alaska again, and I am going to tell
- 3:13Speaker 1: you that Alaska isn't making me any happier with some things,
- 3:19Speaker 1: So get ready to find that out. You're only ten
- 3:23Speaker 1: minutes from Manhattan. Oh and you can see the New
- 3:26Speaker 1: York City skyline. Oh my god. That's amazing. Now, guys,
- 3:31Speaker 1: if you don't know, Alaska is a place where vast
- 3:34Speaker 1: wilderness and rugged coastline shape daily life, with soft, small
- 3:40Speaker 1: communities often separated by mountains, forests, and miles of open water.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Many towns are accessible only by boat or plane. That
- 3:52Speaker 1: scares me. My daughter in love and monkey butts. Stepdad
- 3:59Speaker 1: lives works in Alaska, and I know that's it's very remote,
- 4:03Speaker 1: so that's kind of crazy. Okay. Now, Alaska can consistently
- 4:10Speaker 1: reports one of the highest missing person rates in the
- 4:14Speaker 1: United States. Is anybody surprised? I'm not not after we
- 4:20Speaker 1: did the deep dive into Robert Hanson, because law enforcement
- 4:23Speaker 1: in Alaska, if you are not a perfect victim, they
- 4:27Speaker 1: don't give a shit. Okay. Now, they have hundreds of
- 4:31Speaker 1: active missing person cases at any given time that are
- 4:36Speaker 1: reported each year. Okay. Now, something I found very disturbing
- 4:42Speaker 1: while researching Alaska and their missing person stats is that
- 4:47Speaker 1: there are over thirteen hundred active missing person cases and
- 4:54Speaker 1: twelve hundred inactive. I need to know what does it
- 5:00Speaker 1: active mean? Where they found? Are they no longer missing?
- 5:05Speaker 1: Or are you no longer working the cases? I need
- 5:08Speaker 1: to know how a missing person case can be an
- 5:11Speaker 1: active because what I learned about Robert Hansen, y'all not
- 5:17Speaker 1: great there. Okay, y'all aren't great there. So I need
- 5:21Speaker 1: more information. If anybody knows, I need you to tell me, okay,
- 5:25Speaker 1: because it's another reason I'm not a fan of Alaska. Okay. Now,
- 5:34Speaker 1: normally on Midday Missing we focus on one person at
- 5:37Speaker 1: a time, but sometimes cases are so closely connected that
- 5:43Speaker 1: separating them would mean losing the full picture. This is
- 5:48Speaker 1: one of those cases. Okay. The disappearances of Hoseiah Bracken
- 5:53Speaker 1: and Quinn Witten are tied together, and for the families,
- 5:58Speaker 1: the search for answers have been shared from the very beginning. Okay.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Hooaiah Bracken was born January thirty first, nineteen ninety four.
- 6:09Speaker 1: He has described as five feet eight inches tall, weighing
- 6:12Speaker 1: about two hundred and forty pounds, brown hair, and hazel eyes.
- 6:17Speaker 1: He has a tattoo on his left arm. Now. Quinn
- 6:21Speaker 1: Witten was born September twelfth, nineteen seventy five. He stood
- 6:25Speaker 1: approximately five feet eleven inches and weighed about one hundred
- 6:30Speaker 1: and eighty five pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. Now.
- 6:35Speaker 1: Both men were last seen the night of December thirteenth,
- 6:38Speaker 1: twenty twenty five, near Back Beach in Sitka, Alaska. Not
- 6:44Speaker 1: sure from them saying that right, but it's Alaska, so
- 6:46Speaker 1: I don't care. So. According to earlier statements from the
- 6:50Speaker 1: Sitka Police Department. They left that evening aboard a fourteen
- 6:55Speaker 1: foot blue and silver Lund skiff. Authorities believe they were
- 7:00Speaker 1: headed towards Camp Coogan Bay, which is about five nautical
- 7:04Speaker 1: miles away, where the men had been renovating a floating home. Guys,
- 7:09Speaker 1: is that a houseboat? Because a floating home, isn't that
- 7:13Speaker 1: a houseboat? I mean, maybe it's a Texas thing, but
- 7:17Speaker 1: I thought those were houseboats. Anybody knows, let me know
- 7:20Speaker 1: in the chat now. They were not reported until December fifteenth,
- 7:26Speaker 1: when authorities were notified that neither men had shown up
- 7:29Speaker 1: for work. Since that night, there has been no sign
- 7:33Speaker 1: either of Josea. Bracken or Quinn Witten. The Alaska Department
- 7:39Speaker 1: of Public Safety reported that weather conditions were poor around
- 7:44Speaker 1: the time the men were believed to have departed, with
- 7:48Speaker 1: high winds and snow. The US Coast Guard launched search efforts,
- 7:54Speaker 1: but one boat had to turn back due to weather.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Search and rescue operation continued the following day with multiple
- 8:02Speaker 1: agencies involved. Okay, so Laney says, maybe it's like the
- 8:08Speaker 1: buildings in Venice. Those are floating but not boats. Maybe
- 8:14Speaker 1: maybe good point search dogs later indicated possible signs in
- 8:20Speaker 1: the same area of Canon Island, about three hundred and
- 8:24Speaker 1: twenty five yards from Back Beach where the men had departed. However,
- 8:29Speaker 1: dive searches were delayed due to weather and lack of
- 8:33Speaker 1: volunteer divers. Search and recovery efforts efforts. Sorry, guys, my
- 8:39Speaker 1: mouth is still numb from the dentist, so pronunciations are
- 8:44Speaker 1: a little bit harder today. But the search and recovery
- 8:47Speaker 1: efforts were halted on December seventeenth with no findings. Now, guys,
- 8:52Speaker 1: I am not shaming these gentlemen, but I want to
- 8:56Speaker 1: say I live in Texas. Yes, I've lived in California,
- 9:00Speaker 1: in Vegas, in New Mexico for a short time, never
- 9:04Speaker 1: any place that had the kind of snow that Alaska does.
- 9:08Speaker 1: But would you go out with high winds and snow,
- 9:14Speaker 1: because I don't know. Is that something that they do there?
- 9:18Speaker 1: I mean, I'm guessing they do because they have snow
- 9:20Speaker 1: almost all the time, So I don't know. I don't know. Now.
- 9:26Speaker 1: For Hosea's mother, Brandy Bracken, the days since her son
- 9:30Speaker 1: disappeared had been filled with uncertainty and frustration. I'm doing
- 9:35Speaker 1: the best I can under the circumstances, she said. Brandy
- 9:41Speaker 1: said she last spoke with her son by phone on
- 9:44Speaker 1: December thirteenth, just hours before he disappeared. Said their conversation
- 9:50Speaker 1: laughed last at about fifteen minutes now. According to Brandy,
- 9:55Speaker 1: her son had told her and others that he was
- 9:58Speaker 1: not planning to travel to the fl house that day
- 10:01Speaker 1: because recent storms had kept the men in town for
- 10:04Speaker 1: several nights. She said the timeline initially reported by authorities
- 10:10Speaker 1: have left her with questions me too, because why are
- 10:15Speaker 1: the authorities saying that they departed the island? Anybody know
- 10:21Speaker 1: that I don't know. I have been very frustrated with
- 10:25Speaker 1: the lack of communication and the lack of searching for
- 10:28Speaker 1: these two men, Brandy said, I know that Sitka is
- 10:31Speaker 1: a small island, and I have become aware that, you know,
- 10:36Speaker 1: there's not a lot of manpower here. Quinn Witten's mother,
- 10:42Speaker 1: Sky Courota, has voiced similar concerns. She said she was
- 10:47Speaker 1: not even notified by authorities that her son was missing
- 10:51Speaker 1: until days after he was last seen, learning about it
- 10:55Speaker 1: instead from one of his friends. Excuse me, Alaska, why
- 11:01Speaker 1: in the hell would you not notify the parents and
- 11:05Speaker 1: how did the Finn's friends find out who told them,
- 11:10Speaker 1: because I find that weird. I find that extremely weird. Also, guys,
- 11:17Speaker 1: I'm trying really hard not to think that all of
- 11:20Speaker 1: Alaska police suck, because we did learn there was a
- 11:24Speaker 1: couple of great officers in Alaska, but we're talking one
- 11:29Speaker 1: or two. Okay. And guys, if you don't know what
- 11:31Speaker 1: I'm talking about with Robert Hansen, you need to go
- 11:34Speaker 1: to our playlist on our YouTube channel and you will
- 11:37Speaker 1: find the deep dive that me and Mama did. I mean,
- 11:41Speaker 1: it's like fourteen episodes. And let me tell you, Alaska
- 11:43Speaker 1: has blood on their hands. And if they have twelve
- 11:46Speaker 1: hundred inactive missing person cases and those people are still missing,
- 11:52Speaker 1: they have more blood on their hands in my opinion.
- 11:57Speaker 1: Quinn Witten was known by those close to him him
- 12:00Speaker 1: as someone who lived on his own terms. His father
- 12:04Speaker 1: Tom Wenton, described him simply, he came in on a
- 12:09Speaker 1: huge adventure and he never slowed down. His sister Ali
- 12:14Speaker 1: echoed the same sentiment, saying Alaska was his frontier. Friends
- 12:21Speaker 1: say Quinn was curious, driven, and deeply passionate about learning.
- 12:27Speaker 1: He had tremendous motivation toward traditional learning, said his longtime
- 12:32Speaker 1: friend Danielle Prawl. But he was one of the most
- 12:36Speaker 1: self steadied people, as if he had a craving for
- 12:39Speaker 1: knowledge and information. Love that now he had worked in construction,
- 12:46Speaker 1: owned properties and places including Sikka and Panama, and he
- 12:50Speaker 1: had earned his master captain's license after captaining a tuna
- 12:56Speaker 1: fishing boat. Okay, guys, if you don't know, that's a
- 13:00Speaker 1: big deal. Okay, master captain license is a big deal now.
- 13:09Speaker 1: His sister Ali describes his personality this way. Quinn was
- 13:14Speaker 1: pure wit and chaos. He just had the most amazing
- 13:18Speaker 1: mind and was just so personable. But then he also
- 13:23Speaker 1: had that edge about him that if anyone told him
- 13:26Speaker 1: he couldn't do something, he would do it. Guess what, clan,
- 13:31Speaker 1: I'm like, you tell me I can't do something, and
- 13:34Speaker 1: I'm going to prove to you that I can and
- 13:37Speaker 1: make you eat your words. Okay, trust me. My parents,
- 13:41Speaker 1: I drove them crazy for both families. The uncertainty deepened
- 13:46Speaker 1: when new developments surfaced weeks after the men disappeared. Buckle up, guys, okay,
- 13:52Speaker 1: because I have so many more questions. Charging documents filed
- 13:58Speaker 1: January fifteenth, alleged that a woman named Stephanie Tuttu repeatedly
- 14:05Speaker 1: entered the men's floatouse at Camp Cook and Bay just
- 14:09Speaker 1: days after they were reported missing. Investigators say she arranged
- 14:14Speaker 1: for the removal of firearms, ammunition, and other property from
- 14:20Speaker 1: the home. Okay. According to investigators, Tout traveled to the
- 14:27Speaker 1: floatouse on December seventeenth and again on December nineteenth, paying
- 14:33Speaker 1: a captain to transport her. Witnesses reported seeing numerous loaded
- 14:38Speaker 1: firearms inside the revenance. Inside the residence, the captain later
- 14:45Speaker 1: told the police he was uncomfortable transporting the weapons and
- 14:49Speaker 1: refused to move them. I mean, guys, nobody's saying anything
- 14:54Speaker 1: that they had a lot of guns. It's Alaska. They
- 14:57Speaker 1: got lots of animals, they got big animals. Okay. Plus
- 15:01Speaker 1: I live in Texas. Guns are a thing, and if
- 15:04Speaker 1: they are being used for the right reason safety, nobody
- 15:10Speaker 1: should get involved. Okay. Now, Investigators say too to then
- 15:14Speaker 1: arrange for another man called Johnson to accompany the captain
- 15:19Speaker 1: on the second trip. Johnson later told investigators that when
- 15:23Speaker 1: he arrived, the firearms had already been packed into two
- 15:27Speaker 1: large duffel bags and a rifle case. Please say the
- 15:31Speaker 1: weapons were transported back to Sika moved between vehicles at
- 15:36Speaker 1: Eliason Harbor and eventually stored in Johnson's garage. Okay, guys,
- 15:44Speaker 1: I'm gonna hold my thoughts. Johnson told investigators he believed
- 15:49Speaker 1: he was doing the families of the missing men a
- 15:52Speaker 1: favor by keeping the weapons safe. Sure you were, sir,
- 15:57Speaker 1: because was it the family who reached out to you?
- 16:00Speaker 1: Did they ask you to go into their missing loved
- 16:04Speaker 1: ones residents and take anything? I don't think so now.
- 16:10Speaker 1: Stephanie Twuotu was charged with one count a first degree
- 16:14Speaker 1: burglary and one count of second degree theft. She acknowledged
- 16:18Speaker 1: retrieving chickens and paperwork from the float house, but denied
- 16:24Speaker 1: stealing firearms. Okay, guys, chickens, Why would you steal someone
- 16:30Speaker 1: else's chickens? And do they have chickens living? This was
- 16:36Speaker 1: a boat house. Do they have chickens living and floating
- 16:39Speaker 1: boat houses? I need to know? And what paperwork did
- 16:43Speaker 1: you take, Stephanie? What paperwork do you have the receipts?
- 16:49Speaker 1: I mean? And why would you steal any of their
- 16:52Speaker 1: belongings unless you knew they weren't coming home? In my opinion,
- 16:58Speaker 1: that is a huge read flag. Okay, I mean, Alaska
- 17:03Speaker 1: is known as the last front Tier, But I'm kind
- 17:06Speaker 1: of wondering, after all the stuff I'm learning about Alaska,
- 17:11Speaker 1: if it should be the lawless Frontier. Okay. For Quinn's
- 17:16Speaker 1: mother's guide, the situation reflects the fear she had early
- 17:20Speaker 1: in the investigation. She described the situation as a free
- 17:25Speaker 1: for all, saying that once her son was missing, his
- 17:29Speaker 1: property and belongings suddenly became vulnerable. Okay, guys, why wasn't
- 17:36Speaker 1: the house marked as a potential crime scene if they
- 17:39Speaker 1: thought the men were traveling there? Because remember that's what
- 17:42Speaker 1: law enforcement said, not the family. Why wasn't it marked
- 17:47Speaker 1: as a crime scene? Why wasn't the door sealed? Why?
- 17:53Speaker 1: Despite the legal action related to the property taken from
- 17:57Speaker 1: the floatouse, it does not answer the most important question
- 18:00Speaker 1: for either family, what happened to Josea Bracken and Quinn Witten.
- 18:06Speaker 1: As of today, both men remain missing, and their families
- 18:11Speaker 1: continue to search for answers and continue to hope that someone,
- 18:16Speaker 1: somewhen somewhere knows something about what happened after the two
- 18:22Speaker 1: men left Backbach that December night. If you have any information,
- 18:29Speaker 1: please contact the Alaska State Troopers in Sitka at nine
- 18:33Speaker 1: oh seven seven four seven three two five four, or
- 18:38Speaker 1: you can message me on any of our social media
- 18:41Speaker 1: channels or send me an email. Because Alaska, I'm ashamed
- 18:47Speaker 1: to say this, but I'm not one hundred percent sure
- 18:49Speaker 1: you would follow up on the tip after we learned
- 18:53Speaker 1: in Robert Hansen how you didn't follow up on tips
- 18:57Speaker 1: and how you didn't even follow up on a witness
- 18:59Speaker 1: who came in and everything she told you told you
- 19:03Speaker 1: was correct. So if you have any things, send it
- 19:07Speaker 1: to me. I'll at least get it to the family. Okay. Now,
- 19:13Speaker 1: if you know of a case of a missing person
- 19:16Speaker 1: where you live, or if you have a loved one
- 19:19Speaker 1: missing in your interested in having their story featured on
- 19:22Speaker 1: an upcoming episode, or if you want to join us
- 19:25Speaker 1: for a live interview, you can contact us by emailing
- 19:29Speaker 1: me Terry at tcwtmedia dot com, or you can reach
- 19:34Speaker 1: us through all of our social media accounts. Okay, Now,
- 19:41Speaker 1: this next case has seriously nothing really to find online,
- 19:46Speaker 1: which makes me angry and crazy, but then I remind
- 19:50Speaker 1: myself we are in Alaska. Okay. Paki Andrew Kobok, who
- 19:55Speaker 1: also goes by the name Taki, was reported missing from
- 19:59Speaker 1: Anchorage a lot on August seventh, twenty twenty five, Guys
- 20:03Speaker 1: were coming up on a year. Packy is a thirty
- 20:06Speaker 1: two year old Indigenous male. He approximately five foot seven
- 20:11Speaker 1: inches tall, weighs about one hundred and seventy pounds. He
- 20:15Speaker 1: has black hair, brown eyes, and at the time he disappeared,
- 20:19Speaker 1: Packy was wearing blue jeans. According to the available information,
- 20:25Speaker 1: Packy left in an assisted living home and anchorage and
- 20:29Speaker 1: never returned. Guys, how could the assisted living not know
- 20:36Speaker 1: exactly what he was wearing? Literally everything says he was
- 20:40Speaker 1: wearing jeans. Did he have on no shoes? Did he
- 20:44Speaker 1: have on no shirt? I mean, just jeans? And why
- 20:49Speaker 1: wouldn't assisted living know a little bit more information? Okay?
- 20:54Speaker 1: But since August of last year, his whereabouts remain unknown.
- 21:00Speaker 1: I could not find anything else, Guys. I couldn't find
- 21:04Speaker 1: where his family spoke. I couldn't find the name of
- 21:08Speaker 1: the assisted living he was living in so that I
- 21:11Speaker 1: could call them and ask questions. I couldn't find Jack
- 21:14Speaker 1: Squat and guys, that's not okay. Any person that goes
- 21:19Speaker 1: missing deserves to have the information out there so that
- 21:25Speaker 1: people know who and what to look for. Okay, Anyone
- 21:31Speaker 1: who knows anything about Paki Andrew Kobuk is asked to
- 21:37Speaker 1: contact the Anchorage Police Department at nine oh seven seven
- 21:41Speaker 1: eight six eighty nine hundred and guys, they have so
- 21:46Speaker 1: many missing they say you must reference a case number.
- 21:49Speaker 1: So that case number is twenty five hundred two four
- 21:53Speaker 1: five one six. Guys. If anybody knows anything else about
- 22:00Speaker 1: out this guy, please reach it out to me on
- 22:03Speaker 1: my social media channels or email me. I will do
- 22:06Speaker 1: an update. He and his family deserve better because what
- 22:12Speaker 1: is out there is absolutely horrific. They need to do
- 22:17Speaker 1: a better job. Okay, Now, don't forget to join our

- 24:31Speaker 1: to tell you I love the color. It relaxes me
- 24:34Speaker 1: before bed, but coloring a picture of yourself was weird.
- 24:40Speaker 1: I'm still having some mental issues from coloring a photo
- 24:45Speaker 1: of myself. It was fun, but my brain's doing some hoops. Okay.
- 24:53Speaker 1: But most importantly, I want to thank you all for
- 24:58Speaker 1: joining me today. I apologize again for being late. If
