- 2:07A Commemoration of St. Primus and Felician Ever make us, we beseech thee, O Lord, honor the festival of thy holy martyrs, Primus and Felician, and through their prayers, may we obtain the gift of thy protection through our Lord Jesus Christ, thy son, who liveth and reigneth with thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, through all ages of ages. Amen.
- 2:37A lesson from the first letter of Saint John the Apostle.
- 2:43Brethren, do not be surprised that the world should hate you.
- 2:49Remember that we have changed over from death to life in loving the brethren as we do. Whereas if a man is without love, he holds fast by death. A man cannot hate his brother without being a murderer. And you may be sure that no murderer has eternal life dwelling in him. God has proved his love to us by laying down his life for our sakes.
- 3:23We too must be ready to lay down our lives for the sake of our brethren. And now suppose that a man has the worldly goods he needs and sees his brother go and want. If he steals his heart against his brother, how can we say that the love of God dwells in him? My little children, let us show our love by the true test of action, not by taking phrases on our lips.
- 4:03The gradual.
- 4:05In my trouble, I cried to the Lord, and he heard me. O Lord, deliver my soul from wicked lips and a deceitful tongue. Alleluia. Alleluia. O Lord, my God, in thee have I put my trust.
- 4:27Save me from all them that persecute me and deliver me. Alleluia. A continuation of the holy gospel according to Luke. At that time, Jesus spoke to the Pharisees this parable. There was a man that gave a great supper and sent out many invitations.
- 4:56And when the time came for his supper, he sent one of his own servants telling the invited guests to come for all was now ready. And all of them with one accord began making excuses. I have bought a farm, the first said to him, and I must needs go and look over it. I pray thee. Count me excused.
- 5:28And another said, I have bought five pair of oxen, and I am on my way to make trial of them. I pray thee. Count me excused. And another said, I have married a wife and so I am unable to come. The servant came back and told his master all this whereupon the host fell into a rage and said to his servant, quick, go out into the streets and lanes of the city.
- 6:09Bring in the poor, the cripples, the blind, and the lame. And when the servant told him, sir, all has been done according to thy command, but there is room left still. The master said to the servant, go out into the highways and the hedgerows and give them no choice but to come in that so my house may be filled. I tell you, none of those who were first invited shall taste of my supper. The offertory, turn to me, O Lord, and deliver my soul.
- 7:02O save me for thy mercy's sake. The secret, Lord, may this offering about to be dedicated to thy name make us clean and deepen in us day by day a heavenly life. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, thy son, who liveth and reigneth with thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, through all ages of ages. Amen. A commemoration of saints Primus and Felician.
- 7:44Lord, on this festival of a precious martyrdom, we pray, may our sacrificial victim appease thee to grant the prayers of thy servants through our Lord Jesus Christ, thy son, who liveth and reigneth with thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, through all ages of ages. Amen. The common preface, Just it is indeed and fitting, right and for our salvation that we should at all times and in all places give thanks unto thee, oh, holy Lord, father almighty, everlasting God, through whom the angels praise thy majesty. The dominions worship it. The power stand in awe.
- 8:41The heavens and the hosts of heaven together with the blessed Seraphim joyfully do magnify. We entreat thee that thou command it be permitted us to join with them in confessing thee while we say with lowly praise. Holy, holy, holy, Lord God of hosts. The heavens and the earth are full of thy glory. Hosanna in the highest.
- 9:12Blessed is he who comes in the name of the lord. Hosanna in the highest. The communion. I will sing of the Lord. He has been good to me and I will sing of the name of the Lord most high.
- 9:36The post communion. Let us pray. We have received thy sacred gifts, O Lord, and beseech thee that each renewal of this sacrament may bring us further fruits of redemption through our Lord Jesus Christ, thy son, who liveth and reigneth with thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God through all ages of ages. Amen. A commemoration of Saints Primus and Felician.
- 10:17Oh, Almighty God, we beseech thee. May the solemn feast of thy holy martyrs, Primus and Felician, which we celebrate with these heavenly mysteries obtain for us thy merciful forgiveness through our Lord Jesus Christ, thy son, who liveth and reigneth with thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, through all ages of ages. Amen. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy ghost. Amen.
- 11:00Saints Primus and Felician, pray for us.
