- 0:00Welcome to Frontline Static, we will get to hear interviews with
- 0:02some of my clients journeys of getting into flight and how they
- 0:05utilize coaching to help them create success of getting hired
- 0:08with less confusion and more ease.
- 0:10Make your dream a reality of getting into flight.
- 0:12Listen in as you hear some of the stories of the people
- 0:14getting there and come join the flight prep group.
- 0:20Hey everybody, welcome to the free training mapping out your
- 0:23plan to flight. I don't know how long it takes
- 0:27for everybody to be able to come on, so let's just do a little
- 0:30bit of a test since I can only see myself.
- 0:33If you guys will just put in the chat box that you can hear and
- 0:37you can see me. OK?
- 0:39I want to make sure that we're beginning on the right foot and
- 0:43you guys can hear everything that I'm saying.
- 0:46I want to make sure that I have the chat box on so that you guys
- 0:49can see if you guys could just drop a message in the chat and
- 0:54let me know if you can hear and see me.
- 0:55OK, let's just get started as well.
- 0:58I want to make this training very interactive.
- 1:03So I want to start out by saying you guys are in the right place.
- 1:06If you are here for the free training of mapping out your
- 1:09plan to flight. I actually have never taught
- 1:12this outside of the flight prep Academy and I just realized I
- 1:17want to put how to map out your plan to flight in more hands of
- 1:21more people. And so I really wanted to make
- 1:23this a free training today and give you guys the opportunity to
- 1:27get clarity on your plan of getting into flight nursing or
- 1:30flight paramedicine and then also give you an opportunity to
- 1:33ask questions workshop on this call.
- 1:37So let me just start out by by telling you guys a little bit
- 1:42about what we're going to talk about today and kind of what it
- 1:46looks like today. So if you guys, I I want to make
- 1:50this as interactive as possible. So if I'm going to just point
- 1:53out two things. First, in the chat box, you guys
- 1:57are able to interact with me there.
- 2:01So if you guys could let me know that you can see and hear me,
- 2:03OK, If someone could do that, that would be great.
- 2:06And then also in the chat box, if you can put where you're
- 2:09from, where are you currently in the process?
- 2:12I want to make this training around you guys that are here
- 2:14live. So let me know where you guys
- 2:17are in the process, whether you're a nursing student, a
- 2:18critical care nurse, how long you've been a critical care
- 2:21nurse or if you're not working critical care yet, where you are
- 2:25at? I'm going to cover all of those
- 2:27different places and then down at the bottom, if you guys look
- 2:31at the bottom, if you're familiar with Zoom webinar as
- 2:35well, there's AQ and a box at the bottom.
- 2:40OK. Oh, it says the chat's been
- 2:41disabled. OK, let me figure out how to
- 2:43work that for you guys. Thank you guys for putting that
- 2:47in the Q&A. OK, I think I fixed it.
- 2:51So now give it a try. Let me see if you guys are able
- 2:56to. OK, perfect.
- 2:57Thank you guys. Great, perfect.
- 3:01So now if you guys want to put where you're from, where you are
- 3:03in the process of getting to flight nursing or flight
- 3:06paramedicine, you guys know how to use a chat box.
- 3:09Then hopefully everybody can see that in the chat too as well.
- 3:12So there's a chat box, we're going to interact there.
- 3:14I'm going to talk with you guys there and find out kind of where
- 3:17you're at and then utilize the Q&A if you guys have any
- 3:20questions for me. So the way that this call is
- 3:24going to go is I'm going to do about a 20 minute training with
- 3:27you guys. I'm going to cover all these
- 3:29different areas of where you are in your journey.
- 3:32I'm going to cover nursing school directly after
- 3:36graduating, critical care, not working critical care.
- 3:39And if you've been a critical care nurse for one years, two
- 3:41years or three years plus, I'm going to be covering what your
- 3:44plan is of getting into flight. And then after that, about 20
- 3:50minutes of teaching you guys. I want to bring anybody on who
- 3:53wants to workshop their plan. So anybody who has questions
- 3:56about their plan or needs clarity by the end of this call,
- 4:00I want to make sure that every single person who's on here live
- 4:04is super clear about what their plan is and walks away from this
- 4:08one hour training is like, OK, this is what I need to be
- 4:10working on. And then after that, after we do
- 4:14some live workshops with you guys, I also am going to open it
- 4:17up to any questions and AQ and a session for you guys.
- 4:20If you have any questions for me that don't have to do with your
- 4:22plan, I'm going to open it up there as well.
- 4:26And then I'm going to answer any questions that are in the chat
- 4:28box. And then I'm going to, at the
- 4:30end, invite you guys to take this plan, put it into action,
- 4:35and I'm going to talk to you about the Flight Prep Academy
- 4:38and what's included in there. And for those of you guys who
- 4:40stay on, I have a special offer for you as well.
- 4:43So good. I see the chat box is working
- 4:46now. Great, I know sometimes this is
- 4:49hard 'cause I just see myself and I can't see you guys.
- 4:51So thank you for letting me know that you can hear me loud and
- 4:54clear. Everything is working.
- 4:57We have people from all over, looks like Nebraska, Alabama,
- 5:03someone starting paramedic school, ER nurse, nursing
- 5:06student, new grad Perfect. This is like a little bit of
- 5:10everybody. We have some Philadelphia 3 plus
- 5:15years, mixed ICU and ER great nursing student.
- 5:19Yay. You graduate in June of next
- 5:21year, perfect ER nurse for eight years in California.
- 5:26Great. I live in California.
- 5:27I flew and worked out of California.
- 5:30So I'm completely I know everything that California
- 5:34requires. Perfect.
- 5:36We're going to we're going to work on getting you hired
- 5:39Michelle, nursing student. And then we have someone in
- 5:43Florida and we have someone graduating next month, which is
- 5:46great. So this is perfect.
- 5:47I'm going to talk up and address all of these things.
- 5:50So as you guys, as I'm doing this like 20 minute training at
- 5:53the beginning, if questions pop up for you, put them in the Q&A
- 5:58section for me so that I can go back and have to sift through
- 6:02the comments. I can go back and answer those
- 6:06questions when we get to the live workshop point.
- 6:09And I want to offer you guys, like I know sometimes people are
- 6:12nervous about coming on and doing the live workshop, but I
- 6:16want to offer you guys at the beginning of this training, get
- 6:19what you want, get what you came for out of this, Get so clear
- 6:23that you know exactly what to be working on.
- 6:25So if you have questions, if you're anything like me, when I
- 6:28hear information, I write it down, I can process it and then
- 6:34I'm like, I got 100 questions. So I wanna offer you guys, even
- 6:39if you're nervous, come on during the live portion part
- 6:42because whatever you're asking questions on, you're going to
- 6:45answer someone else who has the same question.
- 6:47So get what you came for out of this training.
- 6:50I just really want to put this information in the hands of more
- 6:55people who want flight nursing and what flight paramedicine.
- 6:58Because here's the thing, anybody can get into flight.
- 7:02I want to offer you that any it's possible for anybody, but
- 7:0690% of the reason why people don't is because they don't know
- 7:10where to start. They feel stuck and they let
- 7:12their fear get the best of them. And they think that they can't
- 7:15have fear and take action at the same time.
- 7:18And I hope by the end of this free training with you guys, you
- 7:21guys will be so clear about what actions you should be taking
- 7:25that you also will be able to say to yourself, hey, now that I
- 7:30have clarity, this is what it looks like to have fear of
- 7:33failure and still take action towards it.
- 7:35So I'm going to give you guys a little bit of a courage boost to
- 7:42ask me questions during the workshop time and get very clear
- 7:45about what your plan is. I don't know if I'm going to be
- 7:49offering this again. So I'm so glad for those of you
- 7:51guys who did join me live that you are on the call today.
- 7:56So let me introduce myself first.
- 7:57Most of you guys know me from Instagram.
- 7:59I think that's where a lot of you guys have signed up or
- 8:02Tiktok. But my name's Janessa.
- 8:05I have been a nurse now for 15 years.
- 8:11Four of those I spent. Two of those I spent as a
- 8:15student nurse intern in a medical surgical ICU.
- 8:18I think we're like a Level 3, level 4 at the time, we didn't
- 8:21have a super, super high acuity level.
- 8:24And then I did four years in that same ICU.
- 8:28So I got a job six months prior to graduating, which I'm going
- 8:31to talk about how with nursing students you can do that today.
- 8:34And then I worked that job for four years.
- 8:36And then I, I interviewed for a flight position for a local
- 8:43flight company that was about an hour away and I got hired with
- 8:46them and I flew about 6 1/2, seven years out of that seven
- 8:50years of flying. I precepted and was part of
- 8:56interviews for, for six of those years, five and a half, six of
- 8:59those years. So because of that, I know what
- 9:03is required to get into flight. I know the questions they're
- 9:06asking in their interviews. I know the candidates that they
- 9:08are looking for. I know the qualities and I know
- 9:11the steps that you need to be taking to get there.
- 9:14And So what I in, in this coaching that I've kind of, I, I
- 9:22grew to really love, I found life coaching during a time
- 9:26where I was going through a really hard time.
- 9:28I had lost like 5 patients in the course of like 3 or 4 weeks
- 9:33as a flight nurse and three were pediatric and I was having a
- 9:35really hard time. So I hired my first life coach
- 9:38and after that I was like, I love these tools of being able
- 9:42to help help help Co workers. So I went to life coach school
- 9:46training through the life coach school.
- 9:47I did that for six months. And on the other side, I became
- 9:51a life coach and I didn't know that I was going to just be
- 9:53coaching people who wanted to get into flight, But that's what
- 9:56a lot of people started asking me about.
- 9:58And so four years ago I created a program called the flight prep
- 10:01Academy that helps anyone at any point of getting into flight.
- 10:06I do a combination of strategy and mindset and I've helped
- 10:10dozens of people get hired since then.
- 10:13So that's a little bit about me. I retired completely from
- 10:16nursing and flight nursing two years ago.
- 10:18I went all in on helping more people get into flight and these
- 10:22coaching services and this program.
- 10:24It kind of took off and grew. And as I was helping more
- 10:26people, I just found more and more people, more successive
- 10:30people getting there quicker. And so I went all in and helping
- 10:33more people do it. So that's a little bit about me.
- 10:38I talked about the chat box, the Q&A box and let's go ahead and
- 10:43to get get started on mapping out your plan to flight.
- 10:46Tell me in the chat box how many of you guys are super clear
- 10:51about your path of getting to flight.
- 10:53And if you aren't clear, tell me why you are stuck.
- 11:03And normally the common reasons why people are stuck is because
- 11:07they hear all these different requirements of getting to
- 11:11flight and they hear all these different certifications and
- 11:14things that they need. So I'd be interested to see.
- 11:17Okay, great. Someone said they're pretty
- 11:19clear. Perfect.
- 11:21What I'm going to teach you guys today, just to also be clear, is
- 11:24these are only EU, United States, US flight requirements.
- 11:27So anybody outside of the United States, actually these are
- 11:30Canada's too. I'm only going to be teaching on
- 11:33Canada and the United States flight requirements, but I'm
- 11:37going to give you it very, very simple.
- 11:39It is that you only need three years ER or ICU time.
- 11:44That is it. When I was trying to get into
- 11:46flight, they required certification, they required
- 11:49your CCRN or your CEN and they've really done away from
- 11:53that because there's a new Cames requirement that requires you to
- 11:56have your CFRN within one to two years of being hired into flight
- 11:59nursing. Now I don't recommend people
- 12:01getting that beforehand because your flight company will pay for
- 12:05you to get it The the sources, the time for you to study.
- 12:08So I just recommend unless you're a good test taker, don't
- 12:10get it until after you get hired.
- 12:12You just need three years of ER or ICU time.
- 12:15But there is a reason why people at three years, why everybody
- 12:19who works three years ER or ICU is not a flight nurse.
- 12:24And that's just simply because I see people over work and try to
- 12:27get more time and experience and then they can get get confused
- 12:30of the requirements. I'm here to tell you guys, it's
- 12:33only three years ER ICU time and you want to be working towards
- 12:38this as soon as you know you want flight.
- 12:40So I knew I wanted flight as soon as nursing school.
- 12:43So today what I'm going to talk to you about is the plan that I
- 12:46created for just people who are in nursing school.
- 12:49And then every step of the way you want to be working on this
- 12:52early on because it is true, it is competitive to get into
- 12:55flight, but you don't want to be doing and hustling and working
- 12:58on a bunch of things. You want to stay very focused on
- 13:01certain and things so that you're not hustling, you're not
- 13:04overworking. And my strategy of getting to
- 13:06flight helps work in your everyday life.
- 13:10Your school, your family takes account and most of the people I
- 13:14work with have two or three jobs.
- 13:16So it's not meant for you to hustle and overwork.
- 13:18So I'm going to show you the things that you really do want
- 13:20to be focusing on. These are the things now that
- 13:24I've ran this four years, the people who come to join my
- 13:27program earlier just get hired earlier.
- 13:29So I am now getting hired, people hired before the
- 13:32three-year mark who follow this strategy.
- 13:35I'm helping people get hired at the 2 1/2 year mark, 2 year
- 13:38mark. I just helped someone six months
- 13:40get hired at the one year mark. Now she's been a nurse for six
- 13:43years. She was AOR nurse and a float
- 13:45porn float pool nurse. But I helped her just focus on
- 13:48these simple strategies and it got her an interview before
- 13:51working an entire year of just VR and she had no certification
- 13:55or anything. They offered her an interview
- 13:57and offered her a position. So what I'm going to be teaching
- 14:00you today is also to not wait. The biggest mistake I see people
- 14:05make is wait until they hit that three-year mark and then try to
- 14:08go for a flight that's too late. People inside my program and
- 14:11people who really want it, they've been working on this and
- 14:13taking action since nursing school.
- 14:15And so if that is you, if you know you want flight, you want
- 14:19to start taking action towards it now.
- 14:20That's like the biggest thing I can teach you from this because
- 14:23it is so competitive. We want to be already taking
- 14:28action towards it and you want to be following these steps.
- 14:31I'm going to be talking to you about today because this is
- 14:33what's going to be creating interaction.
- 14:35So I wanted to 1st just talk about the requirements.
- 14:38Three years, ERICU, and if you're a medic, it's three years
- 14:41of being a medic. Don't confuse that by getting
- 14:44certs and trying to work ER and ICU.
- 14:46It's one or the other and I get asked which one's better and I
- 14:50say just pick the critical care department you're most
- 14:52interested in. ERICU.
- 14:55It doesn't matter. One's not better than the other.
- 14:56I say pick the one you're interested in because that's
- 14:59where your confidence in your critical thinking skills are
- 15:01going to naturally grow. The one you're most interested
- 15:03in. I was most interested in ICU, so
- 15:05I didn't go the ERL and it can be any specialty of that too.
- 15:09So it can be burn, ICU, pediatric ER, any kind of
- 15:13specialty that will get you closer to flight.
- 15:17And then I'm going to talk to you about the things that you do
- 15:18want to be focusing on that will actually get you hired.
- 15:22Here's the thing too, about waiting till your three-year
- 15:24mark. I know I'm fast forwarding a
- 15:25little bit, but I wanted to address this first.
- 15:27If you wait till your three-year mark and you just look at online
- 15:31applications, that's too late. These online applications 90% of
- 15:36the time, if not more, already spoken for by people who've been
- 15:39doing ride alongs and making connections and been following
- 15:41these simple steps. So let's say for example, you
- 15:44know you wanted flight since nursing school and you're
- 15:46following these steps. I'm going to teach you today.
- 15:48You are going to get asked by a flight team to interview prior
- 15:52to you meeting the requirement. And what I'm seeing flight
- 15:54companies do is make rosters. So they're asking you to
- 15:57interview because you're doing these ride alongs, you're making
- 15:59connections and then they are making, they're interviewing you
- 16:04ahead of time. Then they're making a roster
- 16:06that's like 6 months, 18 months to two years out.
- 16:09So when a position opens, they're automatically going to
- 16:11fill you with it. Or when you meet the time and
- 16:13requirement of 2 1/2 years or three years, they're going to
- 16:16automatically fill you with it. So you don't want to rely on
- 16:19looking for applications online. That's the worst thing that you
- 16:21can do if you're at the three-year mark.
- 16:22Those positions have already been spoken for by people on
- 16:25rosters and people being doing right alongs and making
- 16:27connections. So This is why what I'm going to
- 16:30teach today is really, really important.
- 16:33Don't be afraid to ask me questions.
- 16:34I don't see any new questions in the Q&A box yet.
- 16:37So as I'm saying, anything, ask me questions in there.
- 16:42I just want to clarify first the requirement, OK, Someone asked,
- 16:49they're not clear about what they do after they graduate.
- 16:51I'm going to talk about that in this plan.
- 16:53And a combat medic for five years.
- 16:58OK, So I get asked this a lot and military, civilian side,
- 17:03military and civilian side are very different.
- 17:05So my question for you, Hannah, is, are you licensed as a medic
- 17:11on the civilian side? If you are, that will count
- 17:15towards your critical care experience as a medic that five
- 17:19years, but you would have to get hired in as a flight medic
- 17:22first. And then they there's companies
- 17:24that will transition you to flight nursing after you
- 17:25graduate nursing school and you've been in that medic
- 17:27position for a certain amount of time.
- 17:29So that's my question for you, Hannah.
- 17:30And maybe you can clarify that for me and you can come on and I
- 17:34can ask you more questions about that too.
- 17:36OK, are you guys ready? Let's talk about mapping out
- 17:40your plan. So let's start with nursing
- 17:44students. Tell me, if you are a nursing
- 17:47student that's currently on there, can you put it in the
- 17:49chat? How many nursing students do I
- 17:50have? And I saw a couple, one from
- 17:55Denver. OK, great.
- 17:59Yay. Three people so far.
- 18:00OK, perfect. Let's talk about nursing
- 18:03students and then nursing students for those of you guys
- 18:06who are on, if you guys still have questions, put them in the
- 18:10Q&A for me and I can get to those too when when I'm done on
- 18:14this teaching portion. So nursing students, this is
- 18:19perfect. This is when I knew that I
- 18:21wanted to be a flight nurse. We had a company that was local
- 18:24and they would fly into the hospital that I worked in as a
- 18:27student intern and we'd take patients in and out of there.
- 18:29And this is like where I figured out the love of wanting to be a
- 18:32flight nurse. So I knew this earlier on.
- 18:34So this is the plan that I created for nursing students.
- 18:37For nursing students, one thing that Ioffer and recommend is for
- 18:41you to get a student intern position.
- 18:43Now, what this means is this is either a tech position or a
- 18:47student intern position or a student extern.
- 18:50I think nursing extern it's called at some places.
- 18:53So the ICU that I worked at, they actually had these student
- 18:57extern positions. They had two always ongoing
- 19:01going. And the reason why Icus or ERS
- 19:04love to do this is because this is like a two year basically
- 19:09interview with the department. They get to know you for two
- 19:13years. They get to kind of like read
- 19:15you into the ICU earners that they want you to be.
- 19:18It's it's great for you and it's great for them.
- 19:20Also with student external positions, they will work around
- 19:23your schedule most of the times because they want to hire you
- 19:25after that two years. I did an ADN degree.
- 19:28You do not need your BSN for flight.
- 19:30You just need your ADN. So I did my ADN.
- 19:33So it's great for that because they get to know you the two
- 19:36years, they get to shape and mold you into the IC or ER nurse
- 19:38that they want you to be. And it's like a two year
- 19:40interview. What's also great about that is
- 19:43most of your managers will work around your your schedule as a
- 19:46student. So I've worked full time as a
- 19:49student extern. I worked three night shifts a
- 19:53week and went to nursing school four days.
- 19:55So I was there seven days a week and but on the really heavy
- 20:00student clinical. Rotations or semesters like for
- 20:05example, when I think they call it capstone now, like when you
- 20:07do your capstone the last semester I was super busy.
- 20:11So because of that, my nurse manager would be like okay, you
- 20:15can only do one this week, that's fine.
- 20:16So they'll work around your schedule because obviously they
- 20:19want you to work in their department and choose them in
- 20:22the end. The great thing about having a
- 20:24student extern position like this is that this will most
- 20:28likely give you an offer prior to graduation.
- 20:31You want to receive an offer as a nursing student in critical
- 20:35care. I say three to four months prior
- 20:37to graduation, but I got mine six months.
- 20:40So if you can even do it six months, that's great.
- 20:42I asked my nurse manager, am I going to be getting an offer for
- 20:44you prior to graduation? And I signed an offer letter six
- 20:47months before graduating. I say 3:00 to 4:00 because three
- 20:51to four months, you're already in your last semester.
- 20:53You're worrying about capstone, you're thinking about NCLEX,
- 20:56you're thinking about all these things.
- 20:57You do not want to be spending time at your last semester
- 21:01thinking about boards and getting a job.
- 21:04You want to have that dialed in. Also, you want to work critical
- 21:08care post graduation. So getting a new grad critical
- 21:11care position is not impossible, but you want to be thinking
- 21:15ahead. The number one thing that I see
- 21:17common mistake that I see nursing students make is they
- 21:20don't plan ahead. They're so stuck in their
- 21:23current situation and clinicals and all of those things that
- 21:27they're not planning ahead. If you know that you want to
- 21:29work critical care and you know that you want flight, you got to
- 21:31plan ahead. Otherwise, you're going to be
- 21:33stuck in a department Med surg or a sniff or a place that
- 21:36you're not going to be wanting to work and it will be harder to
- 21:39get to critical care from there. I'm going to repeat that.
- 21:42People think it's easier to go Med search for a year and then
- 21:45jump into critical care. I just don't see a lot of people
- 21:47do it and people who do do it, It's so hard because after you
- 21:52graduate nursing school, you learn how to become a Med surge
- 21:54nurse. And then after that, you love
- 21:56your hours, you love the people you're working with.
- 21:58And then you have to learn how to become a critical care nurse
- 22:01versus nursing student who just goes straight into critical
- 22:03care. That's the only nursing that you
- 22:05know. And so you don't have to relearn
- 22:07anything. The other reason why I suggest
- 22:09getting an offer three to four months prior or even 6 months
- 22:12prior to graduation is you do not want to be worrying about
- 22:15boards after graduation and getting a critical care job as a
- 22:19new grad. You just don't want to be
- 22:21preparing for interviews and seeking out nurse managers in
- 22:23that way. You want to have it solidified
- 22:25ahead of time so you can just focus on boards.
- 22:27You also do not want to be waiting when everybody has just
- 22:31graduated. So we got these months right,
- 22:33August, September, December, January, May, June, July.
- 22:37That is the common months people are graduating nursing schools
- 22:40and nurse managers know that. I was a nurse manager.
- 22:42I did a small stamp for like 9 months.
- 22:44I know when people graduate and so you're inundated with
- 22:47applications at that time and you're just not getting to all
- 22:50of them. So you want to make sure you're
- 22:53not seeking out critical care, new grad positions at the same
- 22:56time as everybody in those months who graduated and you're
- 22:58just focused on boards. Something to think about, and
- 23:03you might have to look state to state, is there's an interim
- 23:05permit that you can work with. So I worked in under an interim
- 23:09permit after I graduated. You can get that and apply for
- 23:11that as soon as you graduate nursing school, whatever your
- 23:15day is post graduation. And your interim permit is
- 23:17usually good for six months or until you pass the NCLEX.
- 23:20So once I pass the NCLEX, then I had my RN license, but I worked
- 23:24under my IP with another registered nurse in the ICU
- 23:27until then. So something to be thinking
- 23:29about. I don't feel like a lot of
- 23:30nursing schools talk about that. So something to consider is your
- 23:33intern permit. OK, now I know what you guys are
- 23:36thinking. If they don't offer student
- 23:39intern positions at the hospitals that you're working
- 23:41at, you want to ask about them. So lots of nurse managers, they
- 23:47can make these positions because it doesn't go under any of their
- 23:54numbers as far as staffing. This is just like a kind of a
- 23:57hidden position and most nurse managers want to do that because
- 24:01they want to start training you ahead of time and and
- 24:04interviewing you for a position. So how can you get these if you
- 24:09are a new grad or you are a nursing student who wants to get
- 24:12one of these positions or even a tech job in the Eric, you don't
- 24:16need any prior experience. You don't need your CNA license
- 24:18or anything. What I recommend is you going in
- 24:23person and talking to these nurse managers.
- 24:25So what you want to do is every clinical that you have, every
- 24:29hospital you go to, you want to make a connection with every
- 24:32single ERICU manager, whatever, any critical care department,
- 24:38you want to take your resume with you and you want to have
- 24:41your resume always with you at clinicals or make a separate
- 24:44trip and express to them, Hey, I want to work in your department.
- 24:48I want after graduation. Do you have a student intern
- 24:51position available right now? So you want to go in person as
- 24:55much you can. That is the best way to make
- 24:57connections with nurse managers. Do it on your clinical days.
- 25:01You guys are already there. You have a little bit time.
- 25:03Make connections. Let them know.
- 25:05Give them your resume and and ask if you can start
- 25:09interviewing, especially if you are getting ready to graduate.
- 25:12Say hey, I'm really interested in working in this department.
- 25:14Are you are you doing any interviews for positions ahead
- 25:16of time? Ask about student intern
- 25:18positions. They can make those.
- 25:20The floor that I worked on that I was a nurse manager.
- 25:22I made two student intern positions because I really
- 25:27wanted to have nursing students on my floor so that I could hire
- 25:30them directly after graduation. It's the best thing that you can
- 25:33do for a unit, so make sure your resume is ready with every
- 25:36clinical. Start reaching out to managers.
- 25:38If you cannot reach out to managers on clinical or in
- 25:41person, then you want to call them.
- 25:43Call the units, call the department, start having
- 25:45conversations with them. Or also third best option is to
- 25:48get an e-mail. Even right now, it's so
- 25:52competitive to work in critical care that especially as a new
- 25:55grad, the only way that you're going to get into critical care
- 25:58is for you to go in person, call, just really go at it and
- 26:03show them that you really want it.
- 26:05When I was a nurse manager, it was like right when COVID hit
- 26:08and I had 60 employees and I needed to go from 60 to 90.
- 26:12And I had so many nursing students and so many people
- 26:15interested in the floor that I only brought people to
- 26:20interviews that either came to my floor and came to my office
- 26:24or called me directly. That's the only way that I
- 26:27brought people into interviews. And that's the same for most
- 26:29hospitals. They have an HR department that
- 26:31works it. So if you apply for any of these
- 26:33positions, it just goes to the HR department and the nurse
- 26:36manager never gets it until they physically ask for that person's
- 26:40name and they pull the application.
- 26:42So you want to be the person that works at it goes at it.
- 26:44Show them how much you want it and have conversations with some
- 26:48of these managers. This will help you grow in
- 26:51nervousness and speaking with nurse managers as well.
- 26:54So that's nursing students. That's what you want to be
- 26:57doing. That's what I recommend a
- 26:58student interposition. Get your resume critical care
- 27:00ready. And also you want to start
- 27:02practicing for interviews. How do you practice for critical
- 27:05care interviews in a position that you've never done before?
- 27:08So you want to start thinking about who you are, what you
- 27:11value, the team player you are, past experiences, clinical
- 27:15experience that you had and bring that all to, to talking to
- 27:20these nurse managers and practicing those.
- 27:23OK. So that is nursing students now.
- 27:26I have nursing students in my program right now that are doing
- 27:29all of these things. They felt so comfortable with
- 27:32the plan that we've mapped out that they are also doing ride
- 27:35alongs and base visits. So I want to put that out there
- 27:39to my nursing school students. If you guys feel comfortable
- 27:42with your plan, which everybody does who's in my program, you
- 27:45will start to do base visits and ride along.
- 27:48I want to be able to add that for those of you guys who feel
- 27:50comfortable doing that, you can do a ride along and a base visit
- 27:53at any point in any of your career as a flight nurse.
- 27:58And it really depends on the company.
- 27:59But as a flight nurse, anybody who asked me to do a base visit
- 28:03or a ride along, whether they were in healthcare or not, I had
- 28:05to get OK by my manager, but I said yes to everybody.
- 28:08So nursing students, you get your plan down, you feel really
- 28:11good about it. Start doing ride alongs and
- 28:13making connections with light companies and base visits.
- 28:15I teach you exactly how to do that inside the program and how
- 28:18to prepare for them. OK, that's nursing students,
- 28:22hopefully nursing students. If you have any questions, put
- 28:24that in the question box and we'll go over that there.
- 28:27OK. Oh, right along.
- 28:30She asked what a right along is. I'm going to be talking about
- 28:31right alongs here coming up in the first year, second year and
- 28:343rd year. OK, so now we're in post
- 28:37graduation, first year of working critical care.
- 28:41Who is on the call, who is in within either just graduated and
- 28:49is in within their first year of working critical care ERICU or
- 28:53first year of being a medic. OK, great, one person so far.
- 29:02OK, perfect. OK, great.
- 29:04We have a lot of people, OK, first years talking to you right
- 29:08now. Oh, and Vinny, you put level 1.
- 29:10I wanted to just address that too.
- 29:12I want to let you guys know flight companies are not just
- 29:14looking for level 1. They're looking from rural bed
- 29:17all the way to level 1. So don't.
- 29:18I also don't want you guys to feel like you have to chase
- 29:21level 1 experience. They're looking for people who
- 29:25are rural bed, critical access centers because that makes a
- 29:28really resourceful nurse and anywhere from level 1.
- 29:32So don't feel like you have to only work level 1 experience,
- 29:35but great if you have that. Vinny.
- 29:38OK, so let's talk about first year of working critical care or
- 29:42just graduated. If you just graduated, you want
- 29:44to follow all of those things. You want to get yourself into
- 29:47critical care. Do not.
- 29:48This is the biggest thing I want to tell you guys.
- 29:50Do not settle for not working critical care your first year.
- 29:55Do not listen to the people that say you have to work Med search
- 29:59for a year. It's simply not true.
- 30:00I have 90 people in my program right now who are all working
- 30:04critical care and who have most of them gotten jobs straight out
- 30:07of nursing school in critical care.
- 30:08It is not true. Just be the person who's willing
- 30:11to hear people say that and go out anyway and keep going at it
- 30:14till you get the job that you want.
- 30:16OK, so first year in critical care, in your mapped out plan,
- 30:21you you want to first of all be transitioning confidently into
- 30:27the unit. So you want to have someone, a
- 30:29preceptor that you can really either a preceptor or a friend
- 30:32who works in your unit. That one you can trust, you can
- 30:36go to you can vent to you can ask stupid questions too.
- 30:40You want to have that resource and that support a mentor.
- 30:42I had one in every single step of the process I had.
- 30:45So have that person. So that's part of your plan in
- 30:50your mapped out plan. After you've spent like the
- 30:53initial couple months, like really transitioning into the
- 30:56role with your preceptor and all of that and learning all of the
- 30:59new things. As a critical care nurse, you
- 31:01want to start doing ride alongs immediately and making
- 31:04connections with flight companies.
- 31:06I teach you inside the flight prep Academy how to ask for
- 31:09them, how to do them. But I recommend doing 6 to 8 a
- 31:13year. So that comes out to three to
- 31:14four in a six month period. I know that sounds daunting
- 31:18because it's like scary to think about asking, but once I I teach
- 31:22you the process of how to ask them and go about doing it, you
- 31:26are going to get them like this. I had someone who joined the
- 31:28flight prep Academy, gosh, it's been about six months.
- 31:32She went through my jump start flight course and she started
- 31:36asking for ride alongs in the way that I taught her and she
- 31:38got six in one month. Now I don't recommend doing 6 in
- 31:42one month because I don't want you guys to get overwhelmed.
- 31:44I know you guys are working two or three jobs.
- 31:46You have school and you have families.
- 31:48So that's why I recommend three to four in a six month period.
- 31:50That's about 1:00 every other month and you can keep doing it
- 31:54with the same companies. You want to do this because ride
- 31:58alongs are the opportunity for you to get to know them and them
- 32:02to get to know you. There's a couple reasons why
- 32:04this is so important. I call this speed dating.
- 32:07So you don't want to end up at the end of your three years and
- 32:10start speed dating. Couple a bunch of companies and
- 32:13then choose one to marry. When I say speed dating is you
- 32:16want to date people this whole three years, you want to find
- 32:20out which ones do you really like, which bases and companies
- 32:22you really like and you want them to get to know you.
- 32:25You want to go with different bases, different crews every
- 32:28time. And sometimes that means, hey, I
- 32:31really liked doing a ride along with this base.
- 32:33I want to get in another ride along with them.
- 32:35And most companies, if they really liked you and if they
- 32:39have a ride along policy, usually they'll let you a couple
- 32:423-4 times a year if they really like you.
- 32:44I have a a couple of people in the flight prep Academy right
- 32:46now. They really like them.
- 32:48They're going to monthly clinical education meetings with
- 32:50them. So ride alongs are not hard to
- 32:53get. I recommend doing three to four
- 32:55in a six month period. Start making connections with
- 32:57them. This is also important too, so
- 32:59that you can see what it's like to do the job.
- 33:01You're going to be in the helicopter seat, You're going to
- 33:03see what it's like. You're going to taste it.
- 33:05You're going to taste the the fuel.
- 33:07You're going to see what it kind of patients, the high acuity,
- 33:10what it's like to be a flight nurse, what it's like to be a
- 33:12flight medic, what it's like to work with a tight knit team.
- 33:15You're gonna experience it. And so it's really good to do
- 33:18that and for them to be able to get to know you in a relaxed
- 33:22environment. Ride alongs are important
- 33:25because you don't want to end up in a flight interview and that's
- 33:28the first time they met you. When they know you and they've
- 33:32been doing ride alongs with you, they know who you are, what you
- 33:34value, the team player you are. They've got to know you.
- 33:36They've invited you to an interview.
- 33:38They already bought in on you. They already want you to be a
- 33:41part of the team and doing a flight interview where they
- 33:43already want you is just much different.
- 33:46And that's the position that you want to put yourself in.
- 33:48That's what's going to create success in the first flight
- 33:50interview that you have. So you want to do ride alongs,
- 33:54You want to do make connections, you want to do base visits, you
- 33:56want to go to community outreach events.
- 33:58I teach you exactly how to do that inside the Flight Prep
- 34:00Academy. That's what you want to start
- 34:02doing in your one year after you've transitioned in and you
- 34:05feel comfortable into the role. And of course, you want to still
- 34:09continue to grow your confidence and your critical thinking
- 34:11skills in the department that you're currently in from here on
- 34:15out too, at year one, post graduation and getting into
- 34:18critical care. And even if you're not in
- 34:19critical care yet, you want to get your resume flight ready.
- 34:22What I mean by that is you really want to focus on
- 34:26leadership qualities, not time and experience on your flight
- 34:30resume. What they're looking for is
- 34:33where you bought, gone above and beyond your staff role, any
- 34:37leadership roles you've you've done, any education that you've
- 34:40helped roll out, anything where you've really stood out or any
- 34:44recognition that you've gotten. That's what flight companies are
- 34:47looking for. Inside the flight prep Academy.
- 34:49I have a whole course that get your flight resume ready and
- 34:52then we work your flight resume so that it's good before you
- 34:56start reaching out and you start doing right along so that you
- 34:58can give that to the companies. Flight resumes are the same
- 35:00thing as critical care resumes. I teach you nursing students how
- 35:04to get your resume critical care ready.
- 35:07It's the same way and that course is all inside the flight
- 35:11prep Academy. OK, so that's year 1.
- 35:13You want to be growing your critical thinking skills and
- 35:15your confidence at the same time while doing ride alongs and
- 35:17making these connections. OK, let's move to if you're in
- 35:20two years of working critical care, anybody on who has had two
- 35:27years, two years or plus anybody or all you guys, nursing
- 35:37students in year 1, eight years. Oh yeah, that's right, Michelle.
- 35:41OK, perfect. OK, I'm going to talk about two
- 35:46years with you guys right now just because this is a really
- 35:48pertinent year. So if you've worked critical
- 35:51care for two years or some of you guys are one year and you're
- 35:54getting ready to come up. OK, great.
- 35:55Christopher, you're at your three years.
- 35:57So the second year is a really important year because this is
- 36:01the year, the biggest year, After two years, I see people
- 36:05become comfortable in their department.
- 36:07They love the people they're working with.
- 36:08They love their schedule, they're getting in the groove.
- 36:10They're feeling more confident. They're not afraid to speak up,
- 36:13talk to intensivist doctors, make recommendations, work off
- 36:16their protocols. OK, so two years, that's where
- 36:19you just start to feel a little bit more comfortable.
- 36:21That's where you're like not getting diarrhea as you're
- 36:23walking to your department because you're so nervous.
- 36:26That was me for the first two years.
- 36:27I was so nervous, but two years is where you're starting to feel
- 36:31a little bit more comfortable. You're incompetent in your
- 36:33skills. This is the year that I see
- 36:36people move departments. This is the year that I see
- 36:39people say this is kind of like a rural bed ICU.
- 36:43Maybe it's like a level 4. I'm not seeing a high level of
- 36:45acuity, so let's move to a different level 1 ICU or let's
- 36:48move all together to ER or opposite.
- 36:51I see people in ER be like, oh, I'm getting more comfortable.
- 36:53Let's get some ICU experience. This is the worst thing that you
- 36:57can do for you yourself. This is the biggest mistake I
- 37:00see critical care nurses make. When you jump to a different
- 37:03department, you have to learn everything over again.
- 37:07You have to learn the protocols. You have to learn, oh,
- 37:10especially if you go from ER to ICU or ICU to ER, this is the
- 37:13year that you want to hang in and you want to override the
- 37:16part of your brain that's like uncomfortable.
- 37:18This is the year where you want to start filling in in
- 37:20leadership roles. This is the year where you want
- 37:23to stay in your department and the part of you that's like, I
- 37:26need to get time, more time and experience.
- 37:28I want to tell you right now, flight companies are not looking
- 37:30for time and experience. Flight companies are looking for
- 37:32leaders. They're looking for who you are,
- 37:34what you value, the team player you are.
- 37:37And so This is why the second year is so important.
- 37:40In this second year, you want to focus on doing fill in roles.
- 37:43You want to do fill in RT, fill in charge nurse.
- 37:47If you don't want to do those kind of roles, that's OK.
- 37:50There's other things that you can do.
- 37:51You can be on committees, UBC committees or any kind of
- 37:55committees, any kind of rolling out, any new training or new
- 37:58devices. You guys, we all know how much
- 38:02devices, training either in the EMS world or healthcare world,
- 38:06pumps, ventilators, everything changes.
- 38:09Be that person that steps up and is a super user.
- 38:12She could be a super user. You want to be taking nursing
- 38:16students at this time. You want to be volunteering to
- 38:18take new hires and precepting new people.
- 38:21You want to do anything that is going to go be above and beyond
- 38:25your staff position, even if it's failing roles.
- 38:28This is really important because this is really what you want to
- 38:30highlight on your flight resume and this is what flight
- 38:33companies are looking for. How much of these roles have you
- 38:35taken on and how much of A leader were you in your
- 38:39department? You also want to continue on
- 38:41with ride along. So by your second year, you're
- 38:43just still doing 6 to 8 a year. By the 2nd year, the people who
- 38:47come to work with me, you're making really valuable
- 38:50connections with flight companies.
- 38:52I have a couple people who've gotten flight suits already at
- 38:55the second year mark and they're like, hey, we really want you.
- 38:58We're just waiting for you to get the rest.
- 39:00One more year or a year and or a half a year or one more year
- 39:03left. So here's your flight suit.
- 39:05Can you come to our monthly trainings?
- 39:07And they're already treating them like as a staff member, so
- 39:11or they're saying, hey, come and do a right along with us at
- 39:13least once a month or every other month.
- 39:15This is where you want to be at your second year.
- 39:18OK, I think that pretty much sums up the second year.
- 39:22So if anyone has questions on that, put that in the question
- 39:24box. I'm going to move now to 2 1/2
- 39:27three-year mark. So tell me in the chat.
- 39:30I know Michelle and Christopher, you guys are 8 years and three
- 39:32years. Who is and I'm just going to say
- 39:352 1/2 year mark and beyond. Let me know if that's you
- 39:41besides Michelle and Christopher.
- 39:43I'm going to address you guys now and your plan, OK?
- 39:49No one so far, but I'm going to talk about it, OK?
- 39:52At this 2 1/2 year mark, if you have a mapped out plan and you
- 39:55have been doing all of these things, the 2 1/2 year mark,
- 39:58everybody who is in the flight prep Academy with me, who works
- 40:01with me at the 2 1/2 year mark, we're already prepping for
- 40:04flight interviews. I'm helping people get hired at
- 40:06the 2 1/2 year mark. It is possible with flight
- 40:08companies. Flight companies, if they like
- 40:11you so much, they can get approval from the higher ups to
- 40:14not have the three years critical care and get approval
- 40:17to hire you. So 2 1/2 year mark is really
- 40:21where I recommend asking for interviews and prepping for
- 40:24flight interviews. So this is really where you want
- 40:27to be doing that on top of having your flight resume ready,
- 40:30on top of doing right along 6 to 8 a year and base visits, making
- 40:36connections like that all counts as right alongs at the 2 1/2
- 40:41year mark plus year mark. You want to start prepping for
- 40:44interviews specifically. Now where I see people go wrong
- 40:48with this is they open up their CCRN book or they open up their
- 40:51CNN book and they just look at all of the clinical stuff and
- 40:56flight interviews are, unless you've been in one, are nothing
- 40:58like you have ever expected. So I teach you exactly what to
- 41:02expect in my flight interview prep course, which is inside the
- 41:06flight prep Academy for flight. And I'm going to tell you
- 41:08exactly what they look like right now.
- 41:10Flight interviews. Most flight companies are
- 41:12expecting you to take a critical care test.
- 41:14Some of them require you to pass the critical care test prior to
- 41:17even getting to the interview position.
- 41:20So you're going to have a critical care test.
- 41:21Most of those are very basic. Now you have to remember they're
- 41:24giving that not only to nurses, but to, so they're not only,
- 41:29they're not just going to be talking about ventilators and
- 41:32lots of drips. It's going to be a lot of
- 41:35scenarios in your critical care test.
- 41:39So that's the first part. What I'm seeing with most flight
- 41:43companies is that 3/4 of your flight interview are clinical
- 41:47scenarios. Now what that means for nurses
- 41:49and nurses have the hardest time with this.
- 41:51And how I prepare you is that for clinical scenarios, this is
- 41:55verbalizing them. They're going to give you a
- 41:57scenario and then they're going to ask you to lead it and to
- 41:59verbalize it. For most nurses, this is hard
- 42:02for us to do. And I train you exactly how to
- 42:04do this because we're used to ACLS, PALS, BLS, where you have
- 42:09that mannequin and all the things in front of us.
- 42:11And we work that and we talk about it and we show it.
- 42:13Case scenarios for flight companies are they give you a
- 42:17verbal case scenario and then they just tell you to verbalize
- 42:19through your mind what's going through.
- 42:21So because of that, I give you a systematic process on how to get
- 42:25through any case scenario and to practice them and which exactly
- 42:30you need to be following line for line for line to get to your
- 42:33case scenario, to lead it and to successfully pass it, even if
- 42:38it's a scenario you never had before.
- 42:39So when I get in a flight, I never had a Pete patient, I
- 42:41never had a cardiac device, I never had an infant, and I got
- 42:44case scenarios on those things. So I really teach you how to
- 42:49verbalize any case scenario and how to successfully pass it off
- 42:52and lead it. And then I teach you minimally
- 42:55what you need to know clinically going in.
- 42:57I teach you minimally what you need to know about ventilators,
- 43:00what you need to know about RSI drugs, and what you need to know
- 43:02about intubation because you will get asked RSI and
- 43:06intubation questions and ventilator questions in the case
- 43:08scenarios. So that's what I'm seeing is
- 43:10most companies now, they do the case scenarios.
- 43:13If you pass off those case scenarios, then they bring you
- 43:16to a panel interview. And I want you guys to know for
- 43:19those of you guys, they're at the 2 1/2 year marker plus panel
- 43:22interviews. You have a mixture of people.
- 43:24You have about 6 to 8 people on the panel interview.
- 43:27They're from all over the United States.
- 43:28So even though you're interviewing for one base,
- 43:32because you have people over the United States, you could get
- 43:35your, it's not linear to get to flight.
- 43:37I know you might apply an interview for one base, but they
- 43:40might offer you 5 different bases after they interview you.
- 43:43Or maybe they give that position to someone else.
- 43:46But because you interviewed so well, they're going to come back
- 43:48and say, hey, actually I have positions open other places.
- 43:51I have that happen inside the flight prep Academy all the
- 43:53time. They interview for one position
- 43:55and they gave it to someone else and they come back and they say,
- 43:57actually I have a position closer to home too.
- 43:59You want that? And they're like, yeah, I want
- 44:01that. So you got to leave a little bit
- 44:03of magic. And no, it's not linear.
- 44:04And know there's people from all of the United States in these
- 44:07panel interviews. I teach you inside my panel
- 44:11interview prep course what types of questions to expect and how
- 44:15to authentically answer them to showcase you.
- 44:18I really teach you how to get up out of your, out of their head
- 44:22and into yours. The number one question I get
- 44:24asked about flight interviews is how do I tell them what they
- 44:27want to hear? And I have to rewire you guys
- 44:30and teach you how do you stay in your own head?
- 44:33Explain to them the value of you, the team player of you.
- 44:37And I really show you how to do that inside my flight interview
- 44:41prep course with the panel interview questions.
- 44:43I give you a subset of panel interview questions, common ones
- 44:46that I see and common ones to like kind of go through and
- 44:49authentically answer and then we practice them together.
- 44:51So panel interviews I'm we're now seeing are coming after case
- 44:55scenarios. So you have to pass out the case
- 44:57scenarios before they'll get you to the panel interview.
- 44:59So those are the three parts that I really cover in the panel
- 45:02interview. I'm sorry, in the flight
- 45:05interview prep course that I do offer inside the flight prep
- 45:07Academy. And that's how you want to
- 45:08prepare. You don't want to prepare by
- 45:10looking at a bunch of material and studying that.
- 45:13That's just like not going to be sufficient enough for you,
- 45:15especially nurses who don't know how to verbalize case scenarios.
- 45:18OK, so at the 2 1/2 three-year mark, flight interview, flight
- 45:22resume ready, instead of asking for ride alongs, you want to
- 45:25start asking for interviews. If you're at the two and half
- 45:27year mark, instead of saying, hey, I'm Janessa and I'm really
- 45:30interested in doing a ride along with your company, I always
- 45:33offer for you to lead with, hey, I'm Janessa.
- 45:36I really would love to interview for your company and work for
- 45:39your company. And you guys do ride alongs.
- 45:42I'm noticing that ride alongs are now becoming interviews.
- 45:44So as soon as you get a ride along, you want to prepare for
- 45:47your ride along day because those are often lead insurance
- 45:50to interviews and the lead insurance to to getting asked to
- 45:56interview for the company or positions.
- 45:58So you want to be doing all the things that I talked about
- 46:01before, leadership roles, standing outgoing, above and
- 46:04beyond doing the six to eight ride alongs.
- 46:06And then at the two and half year mark, you really want to
- 46:08get in there and start doing the flight interview prep.
- 46:11I recommend this at 2 and half years because they might really
- 46:14like you on a ride along. And I've had this happen to
- 46:17about 3 of my clients in the last couple months.
- 46:19They're like, we really liked you.
- 46:21Can you come in tomorrow and interview And they're like, OK,
- 46:23so you want to just be ready. You don't want to be preparing
- 46:26for an interview right before your interview.
- 46:29You want to have your preparation already done.
- 46:31You feel good so that if and when they ask you, especially if
- 46:33it's on the spot and the right along, you're ready and you feel
- 46:37good about confidently showing up.
- 46:40So that's the 2 1/2 years plus Mark.
- 46:45I think that I went through everybody.
- 46:48So at this point I want to answer questions and I want to
- 46:53bring anybody on live who would love to workshop their call or
- 46:58workshop their plan. And don't be shy because I know
- 47:01if you have questions, someone else does too.
- 47:04So what I'm going to have you guys do is there's a raise hand
- 47:10button at the bottom. Just raise your hand and I'll
- 47:12bring you on. Ask me questions about your plan
- 47:15and let's workshop it together. And if you guys have any
- 47:20questions, you can put them in the question box too.
- 47:23But I want to make sure each and every one of you guys who is on
- 47:26today know exactly and are very clear about their plan.
- 47:30So let's do it guys. Who's ready to workshop their
- 47:34plan? OK someone asked does it have to
- 47:41be level 1 trauma or any critical care experience work?
- 47:43I think I answered that does not have to be level 1, can be
- 47:48rural, bed, critical access, anywhere in between.
- 47:50I just highly recommend stay in one department.
- 47:52Don't move around you guys that's kind of a bad thing that
- 47:54you can do for yourself because you want to just establish
- 47:56leadership roles and teamwork. So does not have to be level 1.
- 48:00In fact, I flew for a company where there's a level 1 trauma
- 48:04hospital, so we had a lot of interviews with level 1 nurses
- 48:08and we didn't always go with them because we weren't looking
- 48:11for time and experience. Can you work 3 years of PEDs and
- 48:15then do? Yes.
- 48:17Becca, I'm so glad you asked that because I always forget to
- 48:19mention that. I'm just going to say this.
- 48:22This is my opinion, but I do think other flight clinicians
- 48:25agree with me. Pediatric nurses have the
- 48:28easiest transition into flight and I'm going to tell you why.
- 48:31It's because PEDs is the scariest thing for every flight
- 48:34nurse. So if you're already a pediatric
- 48:36nurse and then you go into flight, they just make a great
- 48:38transition because it's the thing that you have the least
- 48:40amount of anxiety about. My first intubation was a
- 48:43three-year old PEDs patient and I was like so freaked out.
- 48:48And so yes, that's perfect. PEDs nurses make the best flight
- 48:52nurses. And I think in my opinion,
- 48:54transition the easiest into flight because you're used to
- 48:57having PEDs patients. They don't make you as anxious.
- 48:59So yes, you can go into adult flight.
- 49:01The only caveat that I get asked with this is NICU, NICU.
- 49:04If you're a NICU nurse, you got to go into NICU transport.
- 49:07I haven't seen a lot of NICU nurses be able to bridge into
- 49:10PEDs or adult transport. But yeah, if you're if you're a
- 49:14PEDs critical care nurse, you can absolutely transition it
- 49:19into adult flight. And if you and the other way
- 49:23around too, if you're an adult critical care nurse, you could
- 49:28you could transfer into PEDs as well.
- 49:30Good question. Oh my gosh, does everybody feel
- 49:34good about their plan? Everybody feels clear.
- 49:37I answered everything. No one wants to workshop it.
- 49:41OK, OK, great. I'm going to bring some people
- 49:43on. What should we expect doing ride
- 49:45alongs and how would we go about asking for one?
- 49:49So this is a great question, Michelle, I really teach you
- 49:52inside the flight prep Academy how to exactly, and I don't have
- 49:55time to go over this on this training, how to exactly ask for
- 49:58ride along so that you can secure them.
- 50:00And then I also have another course that's how to prepare for
- 50:03your ride along day, what to eat, what to bring them, what
- 50:06questions to ask, what to wear, what to bring that day, how to
- 50:10show up, what the flight crew expects out of you on your ride
- 50:14along day so that all those courses are inside the member
- 50:17portal of the Flight Prep Academy.
- 50:19Good question. OK, did I see?
- 50:21I thought I saw a couple of people raise their hand.
- 50:25OK, Christopher, I am going to bring you on.
- 50:39Can you hear and see me, Christopher?
- 50:41Yeah sorry having some trouble. Should I should I try to cross
- 50:46train as a paramedic before applying for a flight nurse
- 50:50position? And should I also consider I
- 50:55live in a state where they have pre hospital registered nurse
- 51:00certification? You have to have the PHRN.
- 51:04Yeah. OK I love that you asked this
- 51:07because I forgot to address this as well.
- 51:09So for most nurses, I really highly don't recommend getting
- 51:12any pre hospital experience like either as an EMT or a medic,
- 51:15because for most companies in the US, they don't require you
- 51:18to have the EMT or a medic. And you're going to learn all of
- 51:24that as as you become a flight nurse.
- 51:26So like for example, for me, I only worked ICU, so I had zero
- 51:29pre hospital experience or year experience.
- 51:31And then the company I flew for did predominantly 911 calls, but
- 51:35they taught me everything I needed to know.
- 51:36And what's great about that is the most flight companies, their
- 51:41team has a flight medic and a flight nurse.
- 51:43And the reason why it's set that way is because medics have all
- 51:47of it expertise and pre hospital experience and then nurses bring
- 51:51the expertise in the hospital experience and it's just a
- 51:53great, it's a great partnership. I just think it takes away from
- 52:01you what you want to be focusing on, which is right along to
- 52:04making connections when you do the pre hospital.
- 52:05And you definitely don't need that.
- 52:08But for you, there are companies that do require the PHRN.
- 52:11Remind me, Christopher, how far along are you in the process?
- 52:15So I've got 3 plus years of critical care experience, but I
- 52:20got a total of like 10 years of experience like like total in my
- 52:25career. OK.
- 52:26What other department did you work?
- 52:29So I've pretty much everything outside of OR, PACU.
- 52:36I've done observation, Med surg, progressive care.
- 52:41OK, perfect. We want to definitely talk about
- 52:42that in your interview because I think that's so cool and I think
- 52:45that's like something that you can bring that's going to be a
- 52:47different applicant for you, for you have been able to see like
- 52:49all those different departments. So something to consider
- 52:53bringing up in your interview are the companies, are all the
- 52:57companies that you're looking at require the PHRN.
- 53:02Not all the companies, it's just something that I've heard that
- 53:06it that is recommended to do to get your PHRN before applying
- 53:12do. Any of them require it.
- 53:16I don't think they require it necessarily, OK.
- 53:20It's just anyone that I've talked to that's been been doing
- 53:23flight said get PHRN, get that PHRN certification.
- 53:27OK, I love that you said that because you're going to get a
- 53:30whole gamut of different responses from people who are
- 53:32already flying because what happens is after we get into
- 53:35flight, we're like, oh, this would have been good for us to
- 53:38go this. Like if I would have said that,
- 53:39I would have been like, oh, this would have been good for me to
- 53:42have a little bit of ER experience.
- 53:43But if it's not required, it's, I think it's just really
- 53:47difficult to hear that from people already flying because
- 53:49then then after they're flying, they have this like notion in
- 53:52their head of what they wish they would have done.
- 53:54And then they tell that to you. And then you have the thought,
- 53:57oh, I really need that before that, before they'll hire me.
- 54:00So I would really recommend, Chris for your point at three
- 54:03years, let's just get you in interviews and get you hired.
- 54:08I. Really don't think that you need
- 54:09it. I really think and, and here's
- 54:12the other part. This is the other reason why I'm
- 54:14helping people at 2 1/2 year mark is I've helped people who
- 54:17do require like let's just say their area, their company
- 54:20they're looking at does require the PHRN or EMT.
- 54:23These companies love them so much after these ride alongs
- 54:26that even though it says required, which your companies
- 54:29don't, they hire them and then they pay for them to get it,
- 54:32which is great 'cause then it never comes out of your pocket
- 54:35and they pay for your time of doing it.
- 54:37So let's say worst case scenario, Christopher, we get in
- 54:40there and these flight companies, like actually it's
- 54:42required. We need you to get the PHR in.
- 54:43If they really like you, they're going to hire you and pay for
- 54:46you to do it. OK, awesome.
- 54:50Thank you. You're welcome.
- 54:51What's your thoughts about getting started and starting the
- 54:54interview? I'm, I'm definitely interested,
- 54:59definitely interested in getting started.
- 55:02It's definitely something that I would want to do, yeah.
- 55:06I mean, you're ready. You have like so much time under
- 55:09your belt and just three years of already working critical
- 55:11care. You're ready.
- 55:12You're ready to get hired. Cool.
- 55:16All right. Do you have any other questions?
- 55:18No, no, that's it. Thank you.
- 55:20OK. Thanks for asking those
- 55:20questions because I didn't address those.
- 55:24Thanks, Christopher. Yep.
- 55:27OK, anybody else want to workshop their plan or have any
- 55:34questions or any other questions that I can answer for you?
- 55:38OK, Michelle, I'm going to bring you on and we're going to go
- 55:41past one. Feel free if you guys need to
- 55:43log off, you can. Otherwise, I'm going to stay on.
- 55:47I want to tell you guys about the program and I want to also
- 55:49give you guys a special bonus offer for those of you guys who
- 55:52are on. So if you can stay for that, I
- 55:54want to workshop these people's plan as well.
- 55:57OK, Michelle, I'm bringing you on.
- 56:09Can you hear me, Michelle? Hi, Yes.
- 56:11Vanessa, hi. Hi.
- 56:15So I mean, I've said it a couple Times Now.
- 56:17I've been an ER nurse for about 8 years, always had to go out
- 56:21flight nursing and I get into it and then I get really
- 56:26overwhelmed. So really my question is, what's
- 56:29where do I start? What's my first step?
- 56:31What should I be focus focusing on now?
- 56:34Yeah, well, Michelle, I really want to offer you come join the
- 56:37Flight Prep Academy because getting overwhelmed is what we
- 56:41help you navigate the best. And it's totally normal to get
- 56:45overwhelmed because you start to have doubt and you start to have
- 56:47fear about the whole. And what I see, what I notice,
- 56:51and my hunch is maybe for you is that you get overwhelmed because
- 56:54you might actually successfully get into it, and then that
- 56:57scares you, too. Absolutely, Yeah.
- 57:00Yeah. And that's what I see with most
- 57:02people. So what I help you do at this
- 57:05point and what really I would recommend for you, Michelle, and
- 57:08for Christopher, is we want to get your resume flight ready.
- 57:11That way when you reach out to ask for these interviews and
- 57:14express interest in them, you already have your resume ready.
- 57:18So at this point, we want to do that and then really ask for
- 57:22those interviews and start prepping for the interviews and
- 57:25these ride alongs because what you're going to see is people at
- 57:28the three-year mark or eight-year mark like you, it's
- 57:30going to move pretty quickly. So that's you.
- 57:34You want to do everything that's in your control, which is
- 57:36prepping your resume, asking for the interviews, and then also
- 57:40getting ready for the interviews.
- 57:41And I hope you do that. One thing that I want to address
- 57:45for people at your stage and at Christopher's is that you guys
- 57:49are just thinking about getting hired.
- 57:51I'm helping you really navigate also thinking about creating
- 57:56success after your offer. So what I saw for a lot of
- 57:59people is they got hired into flight and then they didn't know
- 58:03how to create success for orientation.
- 58:05And that's really what I help you do is start to think about,
- 58:09hey, post offer, how do we navigate orientation?
- 58:14What are some things that we can start thinking about?
- 58:16How do you drink through a fire hose and learn new things?
- 58:20And I really teach you and support you all of that inside
- 58:22the flight prep Academy. I have about 20 flight nurses
- 58:25and medics in there right now that I've helped transition
- 58:27over. So you have that support in
- 58:28there as well. But we're starting to talk about
- 58:31that even before you get your offer.
- 58:34Gotcha. Does that answer your question?
- 58:37No, it absolutely does. Thank you so much.
- 58:39I appreciate it. You're welcome.
- 58:40And I think, Michelle, for you, it's just like the mindset
- 58:44piece. How do we work through like the
- 58:46fear of failure and then also the fear of.
- 58:48Success, Yes. And will I be OK?
- 58:50Yes. And of course, like we already
- 58:53know you will because you can do hard things.
- 58:56And, and the number one thing that I say for you and
- 58:58Christopher at your stage is get the support.
- 59:00Join a community. Maybe it's not mine, but join a
- 59:03community where you're going to get support with people who are
- 59:05going through it and a mentor who's going to help you walk you
- 59:08through every stage because I that's what's going to create
- 59:10success for however long you want to fly.
- 59:12Perfect. I appreciate it, Genesis.
- 59:14All right. Thanks, Michelle.
- 59:15Good question. OK, Hannah, I'm going to bring
- 59:20you on. Yeah.
- 59:33Hey, Hannah. Hi, Janessa.
- 59:35Can you hear me? Yes.
- 59:37OK, perfect. What can I help you with?
- 59:39So I was the one that commented earlier, I'm just under a year
- 59:42as an ER nurse in Alabama and I've been the medic for a couple
- 59:46years, OK, in the Army. And it's just kind of like, I
- 59:49wanted to ask a couple more questions cuz it looks like at
- 59:52my ER, it's basically like all the trauma nurses that are like
- 59:56on these flight roles and stuff, 'cause our trauma team is like
- 59:59a, something that you have to apply and get on for.
- 1:00:01It's not like people are rotating through.
- 1:00:03So I just wanted to see kind of like that's what it looks like,
- 1:00:06at least in this state that like that's who ends up getting the
- 1:00:08flight jobs is the one that have had like the trauma side of
- 1:00:12things and like nurses like that, you know what I mean?
- 1:00:14OK. Couple questions for you.
- 1:00:18Are you a medic on the civilian side too?
- 1:00:20No it technically only transfers over as an EMTB because the army
- 1:00:24like once you're doing that army stuff their blanket of like
- 1:00:27scope of practice is way different.
- 1:00:29OK. I actually have a lot of people
- 1:00:31military side who had their EMTB like did that transition to
- 1:00:35nursing just like you too inside the group.
- 1:00:40So unfortunately that won't count as critical experience
- 1:00:44because you weren't on the civilian side of medic.
- 1:00:47One thing that I want to offer you, Hannah, is we want to
- 1:00:51broaden your scope of flight companies that we're looking
- 1:00:54for. So that might be true for the
- 1:00:56flight company at your hospital, but we want to get you dating a
- 1:01:00bunch of different flight companies because not every
- 1:01:03flight company that's the way to get in there is being a part of
- 1:01:06a trauma team or and that's pretty common for hospital
- 1:01:09based. But for private ones, which are
- 1:01:12the majority of air ambulance companies in the United States,
- 1:01:15we would we want to just broaden how many people that you get to
- 1:01:17know and you get to meet. And then if that is the way that
- 1:01:22you get in, this is the number one thing that's hard for people
- 1:01:26is that they want to listen to what everybody's saying.
- 1:01:29So if that's the way that of course we're going to work, your
- 1:01:34hospital based company too, if you want to go with them, just
- 1:01:38be willing to not listen to that part.
- 1:01:40That's like you have to go through the trauma team or you
- 1:01:43have to be doing trauma for a certain amount of time.
- 1:01:45Be willing to keep putting yourself out there.
- 1:01:47OK, awesome. Thank you so much.
- 1:01:49You're welcome. Does that answer your question?
- 1:01:50Yes, ma'am. OK.
- 1:01:52All right. Thanks, Hannah, for asking.
- 1:01:56OK. You guys had great questions.
- 1:01:58I love. Oh, Vinny, I saw your hand up.
- 1:02:04Did you want to workshop yours? OK.
- 1:02:13I think your hand went down. OK.
- 1:02:14Yes. OK, Vinny, come on on.
- 1:02:18Because it might help someone else.
- 1:02:19Whatever question you have, I'm going to promote you right now.
- 1:02:32Hello. Hey, Vinny, how are you?
- 1:02:35Hi, I'm doing great. Good.
- 1:02:39You know, I'm a newly licensed nurse.
- 1:02:42I will be completing one year program.
- 1:02:45OK. I mean a one year in November,
- 1:02:49OK. And I was, I'm very blessed to
- 1:02:52have started in the ICU and the level 1 trauma.
- 1:02:56And yeah, what I got from the workshop was that, you know, to
- 1:03:00start working on those ride alongs and to continue to build
- 1:03:04that experience. One question that I had was
- 1:03:07like, what would you say is the main difference between working
- 1:03:11as a flight nurse for these private companies rather than
- 1:03:15like EU, the US Air Force? OK, good question.
- 1:03:20I don't know. I can't speak for the military
- 1:03:22side and I know that on that side as a flight nurse is
- 1:03:26different than the civilian side.
- 1:03:30So I can't speak for that. But on the flight nurse side of
- 1:03:33civilian, you're you're going to have all different kind of,
- 1:03:36we've kind of alluded to this a little bit.
- 1:03:38You're gonna have all different kinds of flight companies.
- 1:03:40So you'll have the hospital based ones and then you'll have
- 1:03:42private air ambulance companies. So This is why you want to be
- 1:03:45doing ride alongs. And I don't know if you can do
- 1:03:48ride alongs on the military side or if you're in the military or
- 1:03:50not, but doing these ride alongs gives you an open view of kind
- 1:03:54of seeing what all the different bases and companies are like.
- 1:03:58Do you currently work for the military?
- 1:04:00No. OK.
- 1:04:01No, I just, I we've had like flight nurses from the Air
- 1:04:07Force, like come do like small workshops as well.
- 1:04:10Yeah. OK.
- 1:04:10So maybe, yeah, if they're doing workshops, I would just get in
- 1:04:13there and ask them if they you can do a ride along on the
- 1:04:15civilian side. And Hannah's answering this for
- 1:04:17us too right now. You can, but it's a recruiting
- 1:04:19event usually not actual patients.
- 1:04:21OK, that's a good way to start. Looks like Hannah has some
- 1:04:24information on that. Yeah.
- 1:04:26I mean it just sounds like you know that you will be pretty
- 1:04:31much enlisting yourself and serving either in like the
- 1:04:33reserves or like 4 year and you know, you have to like be going
- 1:04:37in and out for training and why not?
- 1:04:39I mean, I can't speak for the military side, but I would get
- 1:04:42information on it. But one thing that I personally
- 1:04:45did look at, there was a moment where I maybe wanted to do some
- 1:04:49military or international contracts as a flight nurse.
- 1:04:53They do international contracts for civilians in the military
- 1:04:57side of it too. So I, I didn't start to get
- 1:05:02information, but I do know that I know some people who did that
- 1:05:05on this. They were civilian and they did
- 1:05:07military contracts. So that might be something that
- 1:05:09you can kind of ask about because I don't know what the
- 1:05:11requirements are on that, right. But good question, Vinny.
- 1:05:14Thank you. You're welcome.
- 1:05:16Did that answer all your questions?
- 1:05:17Yeah, that's all. Thank you.
- 1:05:18OK, you're welcome. OK guys, great questions.
- 1:05:23I want to invite all of you guys that are on to now.
- 1:05:26Let's take your plan that you're clear about and let's put it
- 1:05:29into freaking action. This is it right here.
- 1:05:32Taking massive action despite fear, despite overwhelm, all
- 1:05:36these things. Now that you're clear, let's
- 1:05:38help you get the clarity and support to go forward with it.
- 1:05:42I want to invite all of you guys that are on right now and
- 1:05:44created your plan. Join us inside the Flight Prep
- 1:05:46Academy. I know I've talked about it a
- 1:05:48little bit, but I'm going to give you a rundown of what's
- 1:05:49included. Lifetime membership.
- 1:05:51I love this because I want to work with you whenever you start
- 1:05:55knowing that you want flight and I want to work with you for
- 1:05:57longevity of however long you want to fly.
- 1:05:59So if you're in nursing school, you get to be in the flight prep
- 1:06:01Academy for a long time. If you are at your three years
- 1:06:05or eight years, like Christopher and Michelle, you get to be in
- 1:06:09the flight prep Academy for however long that you want to
- 1:06:12fly. I want to support you the entire
- 1:06:13way. And I think it's really
- 1:06:15important to have a community and a mentor and a coach and
- 1:06:18someone to support you in flight.
- 1:06:19It's what I wish that I would have had in helping like have
- 1:06:22someone that can just push me along to get there.
- 1:06:25So the flight prep Academy is a lifetime membership, meaning you
- 1:06:29pay and you get to be in there for a lifetime.
- 1:06:31So inside the flight prep Academy, you're going to get the
- 1:06:34five step process. You're going to get how to grow
- 1:06:37your, your confidence and critical thinking skills.
- 1:06:39The flight mindset to have. We're going to really talk about
- 1:06:42mindset because as a coach, mindset is everything.
- 1:06:44You're going to get this course, which I just taught today,
- 1:06:47mapping out your plan to flight. You're going to get another
- 1:06:49course, which is how to make ride alongs, how to do ride
- 1:06:52alongs and make connections. You're going to get the course
- 1:06:54of how to get your resume flight ready.
- 1:06:56And then you can workshop that with me either on the call or
- 1:06:59one-on-one over e-mail or directly.
- 1:07:01That way you're going to get the course, how to prepare for your
- 1:07:04ride along, what to eat, what to bring, what questions to ask,
- 1:07:06what to expect, and then you're going to get the three-part
- 1:07:09course of the interview prep course.
- 1:07:10I think there's actually about 25 courses inside the member
- 1:07:13portal. These are on demand for you to
- 1:07:15watch. It's not like once you join, you
- 1:07:17got to go through all the videos.
- 1:07:18Now these are all on demand, so you can watch them at any time.
- 1:07:21That works best for you with this.
- 1:07:24I like the weekly coaching call support, meaning we meet every
- 1:07:27Tuesday at noon Pacific Standard Time to help you, support you on
- 1:07:31your plan, work you through the obstacles, and also talk about
- 1:07:34the mindset piece where you're having doubt, where you're
- 1:07:36having fear, where you're in overwhelm, confusion.
- 1:07:40We're talking about that every week on the calls.
- 1:07:43You do not have to come to them live.
- 1:07:46They're all recorded. Everybody in this group or shift
- 1:07:49work or two jobs or goes to school.
- 1:07:50So every call is recorded and then housing the member portal
- 1:07:53for you to go back and watch any of the replays anytime.
- 1:07:56You also don't have to be coached on it, just coming and
- 1:07:59listening to other people talk about their doubts, their fears,
- 1:08:02or where they are in the process.
- 1:08:03We do a lot of evaluation of flight interviews.
- 1:08:06There's, like I said, 20 flight nurses and medics in there.
- 1:08:08So we're talking about problems that they're facing.
- 1:08:11You can watch other people get coached and get a lot out of it
- 1:08:14for where you are currently or where you will be in the future.
- 1:08:17You also, this is my favorite part, you get access to a
- 1:08:19WhatsApp community group chat where you can tap into that 24/7
- 1:08:23for daily support. So say you need events, say you
- 1:08:25need support, say you need to figure out, hey, what is the
- 1:08:29best study material that I need for this test or what's the best
- 1:08:34study material for Ekgs. You can tap into that group 24/7
- 1:08:38whenever you want for support. The community is my favorite
- 1:08:41part and I think I have the best community in the flight prep
- 1:08:44Academy for people wanting to get in a flight and who are
- 1:08:46currently flying. Again, you have flight nurses
- 1:08:48and flight medics in there too, so you can get support from
- 1:08:50them. And then you also will get that
- 1:08:53flight interview prep course that talks about critical care
- 1:08:56tests, panel interview preparation with questions, case
- 1:08:59scenario preparation with the systematic process.
- 1:09:02So you'll get to be able to workshop that.
- 1:09:04And then on the weekly calls we also talk about prepping for
- 1:09:07flight interviews or critical care interviews or if are
- 1:09:10already flying, how do we prepare you for your Simex and
- 1:09:14your simulation interviews and stuff like that?
- 1:09:16We run a lot of case scenarios. So you get all of this for $2000
- 1:09:20inside this lifetime membership inside the Flight Prep Academy.
- 1:09:24I never, never, never want the cost to be the reason why you
- 1:09:27can't join. So because of that, I have
- 1:09:29created some different payment plans.
- 1:09:31So I have a painful option. Some people like to do that.
- 1:09:35The painful option, you get one free one-on-one call for me with
- 1:09:38me. That's 45 minutes that you can
- 1:09:39use that call for anything, interview, prep, your flight,
- 1:09:44resume, whatever you want. You get one, one-on-one call for

- 1:10:1230 days after that. And then I have a 12 monthly
- 1:10:15payment plan of 176 for those of you guys who want to spread it
- 1:10:18out a little bit more. You get immediate access to all
- 1:10:21of this stuff. This isn't like you trickle
- 1:10:23about getting access no matter what payment plan you choose.
- 1:10:26No, whatever payment plan you choose, you get immediate access
- 1:10:28to the community group chat, the member portal, and the weekly
- 1:10:30calls. You'll get that today as soon as
- 1:10:32you join. OK, here's the bonus offer for
- 1:10:35those of you guys who are on and join today.
- 1:10:38You are going to get a free one-on-one session with me to be
- 1:10:41able to use any time. Whether you want to map out your
- 1:10:44plan, whether you want to do critical care, whether you want
- 1:10:50to do flight resume or flight resume prep, whether you want to
- 1:10:53do flight interview prep, whatever you want to do, you can
- 1:10:56use that one free one on call whenever you want.
- 1:10:59Never expires if you join on this call right now.
- 1:11:03And then if you do the painful option, you're going to get 2
- 1:11:06free one-on-one calls to use whenever you want for a
- 1:11:08lifetime. So I wanted to offer that to you
- 1:11:11guys that are on this call, this bonus one-on-one call, my
- 1:11:15one-on-one calls, Ioffer to my one-on-one clients and two
- 1:11:19people inside the flight Academy for $360.00.
- 1:11:22So you're going to get this completely free 45 minutes,
- 1:11:25one-on-one time with me to use whatever you want for whatever
- 1:11:28subject or thing that you want coaching on or help with.
- 1:11:32And it will never expire to use. So I want to offer you guys take
- 1:11:36this plan of action, put it into action, get the support that you
- 1:11:40need to get out there, get the job, get hired, be with the
- 1:11:45community of people who are going through it.
- 1:11:47And I promise you guys, we will not let you fail.
- 1:11:50We have helped dozens of people get hired this year.
- 1:11:53I have helped dozens of people get hired before the three-year
- 1:11:56mark even this year. And that's by just following
- 1:11:58this simple plan. So I want to invite you guys to
- 1:12:02come join us. If you join on this free
- 1:12:04training, any of the payment plans, you're going to get the

- 1:12:16over. I hope you guys got really clear
- 1:12:18about your plan and I want to invite you guys.
- 1:12:20Let's put your plan into action. Let's get it going.
- 1:12:23Let's get you hired. If you're at that 2 1/2 year
- 1:12:25mark, let's get you hired in the next couple months.
- 1:12:28I'm confident that we can do that.
- 1:12:30And if you're in nursing school and you're just getting started,
- 1:12:32when you start, you're cutting your time in half.
- 1:12:35I'm noticing now after running this program for four years, the
- 1:12:37people that join me in nursing school are getting there in half
- 1:12:39the amount of time. And that's because they're
- 1:12:41getting the support and they're staying on track and they're
- 1:12:43putting their plan into action. That's it for the training, you
- 1:12:47guys. Thank you guys for coming on.
- 1:12:49I am going to quit the recording and then I'm going to stay on
- 1:12:52for anybody who has any extra one-on-one questions for me.

- 1:12:59specifically answers you back. And I hope to have you guys join
- 1:13:02us inside the Flight Prep Academy.
- 1:13:03I hope you joined on this call. You joined today.
- 1:13:06You're going to get that bonus offer one-on-one call.
- 1:13:09All right, guys, thank you. That's it, bye.
