- 0:00One critically important thing that you need to understand here
- 0:03is the difference between assets versus liabilities.
- 0:06And most people spend their money on liabilities disguised
- 0:10as assets. And it keeps them stuck because
- 0:12what it really comes down to is she's not your mommy, she's your
- 0:15wife. The loudest man in the room is
- 0:17often the dumbest man in the room, and the quietest man in
- 0:20the room is often the most dangerous man in the room.
- 0:23That it is massively critically important that you begin
- 0:26learning about money, studying money and finances and when it
- 0:29comes to marriage problems that are money centered, financial
- 0:34stresses, things like that. What it comes down to is today
- 0:37I'm answering 10 of the top questions men ask online when it
- 0:40comes to marriage, money and success to bring you clarity
- 0:45when it comes to living a super awesome leveled up life.
- 0:48Stick around. Hello and welcome to the Warrior
- 0:51Kings podcast. I'm your host, Michael Riggs

- 1:02podcast. It's great to be here today.
- 1:03It's great to talk to you today. I have been sick again.
- 1:07It's totally crazy. One virus after another.
- 1:09I guess that's having little kids.
- 1:11So if my voice sounds a little bit different again, that is why
- 1:14I actually lost my voice for a couple of days, which doesn't
- 1:18usually happen to me when I get sick.
- 1:20So that was a whole new experience.
- 1:21But here I am back at it again. I am unstoppable.
- 1:24Nothing's gonna stop me. I hope you're doing awesome
- 1:27wherever you're getting this episode.
- 1:29Definitely subscribe to this podcast or this channel,
- 1:31wherever you're getting this, because this is what we do here
- 1:34every week. And if it's your first time
- 1:36here, my name is Michael Riggs. I'm a full time author,
- 1:38entrepreneur, men's personal development and marriage mentor,
- 1:42husband and father of six. And I teach men all over the
- 1:45world how to live fully optimized, leveled up lives.
- 1:48So if that's something you're into, like I said, subscribe and
- 1:51hit the like button if you're on the video version of this
- 1:53podcast episode on YouTube that helps me reach more men with
- 1:57these powerful messages. And with all that being said,
- 1:59let's dive right into the topics of the day.
- 2:02And the first question is, how do I fix my marriage before it's
- 2:06too late? And that's a great question
- 2:08because that's exactly what I teach.
- 2:10And what this really comes down to is you need to take the focus
- 2:13away from fixing your marriage and focus more on fixing
- 2:16yourself. Then a happy, thriving marriage
- 2:19naturally follows that. Most men make the mistake of
- 2:22trying to fix the relationship first.
- 2:24They try way too many things before they even get to the
- 2:28source of the problem. And if you want to fix your
- 2:30marriage or if you even want to level up your marriage, you need
- 2:33to put your focus on controlling what you can.
- 2:36And what you can control is yourself.
- 2:38Most men don't look within when things start going wrong in
- 2:42their lives. They don't say what did I do
- 2:44wrong? What could I have done
- 2:45different, and how can I be better moving forward.
- 2:47They don't self analyze, they don't look within.
- 2:50They just point the blame at everyone and everything else
- 2:52except for themselves. And when it comes to marriage or
- 2:55a marriage falling apart, many men make the mistake of pointing
- 2:58the blame at their wives. Or they make the mistake, like I
- 3:01said before, of just trying too many things, putting the focus
- 3:05on fixing the marriage rather than looking within and fixing
- 3:08themselves 1st. And understanding that a result
- 3:11of that is the happy thriving marriage.
- 3:13And you won't save your marriage by talking about your feelings
- 3:16and trying to fix her. Get to the source of her
- 3:19problem. You only fix your marriage by
- 3:21looking within and fixing yourself.
- 3:23Control what you can. And what you can control is
- 3:26yourself. You can't control her.
- 3:27You can't control how she feels about you.
- 3:29How she feels about the marriage.
- 3:31You can't force her to fall back in love with you, but what you
- 3:34can control is yourself and leveling up every aspect of your
- 3:38life so that the happy thriving marriage naturally follows that
- 3:41you will save your marriage by becoming the best husband that
- 3:44you possibly can be. And there is a lot that goes
- 3:47into that. And if you don't know where to
- 3:49start, if you want a structured guide that you can follow and
- 3:52actually implement in real life, I put together the Reforged
- 3:56Husband Complete system. It is a step by step program
- 3:59that you can go through to learn how to be the best husband that
- 4:02you can be and shift the course of your marriage and where it's
- 4:05going completely. You can find the link to the
- 4:08Reforged Husband complete system in the description of this
- 4:11episode or you can go to linktree.com/michael Riggs
- 4:15official. And I know man, I've been there
- 4:17before. I was with a lady for 10 years
- 4:19and we had two kids together and one day, because I was doing all
- 4:23the wrong things in that relationship, she packed up and
- 4:26moved out without me even expecting it.
- 4:28And at first, I did not know what to to do or where to begin
- 4:31to learn what it means to be a man, how to be a Goodman in a
- 4:34relationship, how to communicate with women.
- 4:36And I had to figure out that path for myself.
- 4:39But that's why I wrote the book Warrior Husband and why I put
- 4:42together the Reforged husband complete system.
- 4:44So if you want to level up your marriage or if you're trying to
- 4:47save your marriage, definitely check out those resources in
- 4:50those links. And the next question is, how do
- 4:53I know if my marriage is over? And this is a tough one.
- 4:56And what this one comes down to is you need to have that
- 4:59difficult conversation, the conversation that most men
- 5:02avoid. And it's totally understandable
- 5:05why you would be avoiding that conversation, but you need to
- 5:08have it. It's very important to have that
- 5:10conversation. And you need to have that
- 5:11conversation in a level headed, grounded, calm still.
- 5:15Safeway, you need to ask her, is this marriage over?
- 5:18Is this worth me fighting for? Do we have a chance?
- 5:22You know what I'm saying? Like that is a super important
- 5:24conversation to have. And most guys that I work with
- 5:27one-on-one have been avoiding that conversation.
- 5:30Like I said, they're scared to have it.
- 5:31They don't want that answer. They want to fix the marriage
- 5:34without even asking that question.
- 5:36And that's possible too. But when it comes to how do I
- 5:39know if my marriage is over, you need to have that difficult
- 5:42conversation. And here's what I believe.
- 5:44I believe that the marriage isn't over until you're living
- 5:47completely separate lives and maybe she's remarried and things
- 5:50like that. Like it's never really over.
- 5:52There's always a chance for a marriage because it's a lifelong
- 5:55commitment. You committed to spending the
- 5:57rest of your lives together. And you know, the old marriage
- 6:00vows in sickness and in health, whether I'm pissed off or not.
- 6:03I mean, that's not really one of the technical marriage vows, but
- 6:06you understand what I'm saying. Like, I don't believe that it's
- 6:09truly over. And I believe that you can still
- 6:11become the man that she desires again.
- 6:13And if you're scared of the marriage being over, if you're
- 6:16scared of losing her, you need to let go of fear and become
- 6:19secure in yourself, optimized in yourself, level up every aspect
- 6:24of your life, regardless of whatever the outcome is with the
- 6:27marriage. Like I said in the first
- 6:29question, shift the focus from fixing the marriage to fixing
- 6:33yourself because if you are driven by fear, nothing is going
- 6:36to workout in this situation. And the third question is, why
- 6:40does my wife treat me with so little respect?
- 6:439 times out of 10, What this one comes down to is you haven't
- 6:46been acting like a man in the relationship.
- 6:49And that's probably been happening for a really long
- 6:51time. And there's this thing called
- 6:53polarity. If you've spent some time here
- 6:55on the Warrior Kings podcast, you've heard me talk about this
- 6:57before, but there are masculine energy and there are feminine
- 7:01energies. And we all possess both
- 7:03masculine and feminine traits. It's whatever one is, the
- 7:06dominant force in you, in the relationship, that's going to
- 7:10determine the polarity and the relationship.
- 7:12And the question is, are you acting in the masculine or have
- 7:15you been living your life in the masculine or have you been
- 7:18living your life in your relationship, in your marriage,
- 7:20in the feminine. And the masculine is grounded,
- 7:23still, safe, calm, secure, directional, ambitious, and the
- 7:27feminine is more emotions driven and intuitive.
- 7:31The feminine flows an in successful relationship,
- 7:34successful marriages. The man is in the masculine role
- 7:37and the female is in the feminine role.
- 7:39I know they're telling us all kinds of crazy stuff these days,
- 7:42but that's just a fact. It's just how it is.
- 7:44This goes back hundreds, thousands of years ago when you
- 7:47would have had to have been a strongman or your wife and your
- 7:50children, everybody you know and love would not have survived.
- 7:53You would have had to have been a strongman.
- 7:54And that's why women innately still desire to have a
- 7:58strongman, a man who is in his masculine energy.
- 8:01You would have had to have gone out hunting and fought off
- 8:03invaders to your village and things like that.
- 8:05In that innate Dr. that innate desire in women still exists.
- 8:09And if your wife has very little respect for you, chances are you
- 8:13have not been in your masculine energy in that relationship.
- 8:16You have not had strong direction, knowing where you're
- 8:19going. You have not been ambitious.
- 8:20You have not been building something great for your family.
- 8:23You have not held your standards in such a way that nothing can
- 8:27throw you off course, nothing can shut you down.
- 8:30Your standards are your standards.
- 8:31Because you're so secure in yourself, you are in your
- 8:34grounded masculine core. And so the question is, if she
- 8:37disrespects you, if she doesn't have very much respect for you,
- 8:40if she walks all over you, as they say, have you been showing
- 8:44up like a man? And to fix this, you need to
- 8:46restore the polarity in your marriage, in your relationship.
- 8:50You need to be in the masculine energy which allows her to relax
- 8:54into her feminine energy. Question 4.
- 8:56How do I communicate better with my wife?
- 8:59A woman's desire in communication and even in
- 9:02conflict is to feel safe, seen, heard and understood.
- 9:05And I gotta ask you, when was the last time that you actually
- 9:08listened to your wife? When she was speaking, no matter
- 9:11what she was speaking about. And if you've been married for a
- 9:14while, you've probably heard the phrase, you never listened to
- 9:17me. You've heard that phrase,
- 9:18haven't you? Yeah, we all have.
- 9:19I even hear that sometimes. You know, it's just like the
- 9:22natural way of men is we're not super good listeners.
- 9:25And this is a muscle that you have to train overtime.
- 9:28Train yourself to listen every time your wife is speaking, no
- 9:31matter what she's speaking about, no matter how mundane you
- 9:34think it is. Train yourself to listen to
- 9:37everything that she's saying. And this will level up not only
- 9:40the communication in your marriage, but every aspect of
- 9:42your marriage overall. There is super duper great power
- 9:46in listening to your wife. Trust me, this has been the
- 9:48foundation of my work for the past couple of years.
- 9:51The loudest man in the room is often the dumbest man in the
- 9:54room, and the quietest man in the room is often the most
- 9:57dangerous man in the room. Wise men listen and more than
- 10:00they speak, and that's why they're wise.
- 10:02And if you're speaking more than you are listening, or if you're
- 10:05just waiting for your turn to speak and tuning out other
- 10:07people, you will never be the wise man.
- 10:09So if you want to communicate better with your wife, don't
- 10:13consider communication speaking more or speaking in the right
- 10:17way. Consider better communication
- 10:18with your wife, shutting your mouth and actually listening to
- 10:21her for once. Question 5.
- 10:23Does money ruin marriages? And the answer to that is only
- 10:27if you let it. And I got to tell you something
- 10:29here, man. Over the last few years, I have
- 10:31really dove into learning about money, learning about finances,
- 10:35learning how money works. I've read so many books on this
- 10:38subject. My entire mindset around money
- 10:41has been completely shifted into an entirely new perspective.
- 10:44And I want to tell you today that it is massively critically
- 10:47important that you begin learning about money, studying
- 10:51money and finances, learning how this stuff works.
- 10:54We aren't taught this stuff when we're growing up.
- 10:56We aren't taught this stuff in high school.
- 10:57Hardly anyone's parents teach them the stuff I wasn't even
- 11:01taught about credit or the importance of a credit score
- 11:03when I was growing up. And when it comes to marriage
- 11:06problems that are money centered, financial stresses,
- 11:10things like that, what it comes down to is stop talking about it
- 11:13and just handle it. And this goes back to being in
- 11:16the masculine energy, being in the masculine role in the
- 11:20marriage. Stop talking about it all the
- 11:22time. Stop letting it be stressful and
- 11:23just get down to handling it. And if she's the one who's
- 11:26having to manage life for you, manage the finances, make all
- 11:29the appointments, all these things, like if she's managing
- 11:32your entire life, you are in trouble.
- 11:34Because what it really comes down to is she's not your mommy,
- 11:37she's your wife. And if money is a problem, make
- 11:40it less of a problem, especially in her perception, her
- 11:43perspective. Maybe she doesn't have to know
- 11:45every little detail of every little thing that's stressing
- 11:47you out financially. And then it's just this negative
- 11:50energy all the time. Stop talking about it so much
- 11:52and just handle it. And money isn't easy.
- 11:55I get that. I mean, recently I had a mindset
- 11:58shift where I realized that it actually is easy.
- 12:00But like before you Start learning about this stuff, it's
- 12:03not easy and I understand that, but it can be.
- 12:06And if you take charge, if you take the lead, if you figure it
- 12:09out, like I said at the beginning, does money ruin
- 12:11manages? Well, only if you let it.
- 12:13Money and finances are the number one source of conflict in
- 12:17marriages. Just imagine if you took that
- 12:19out of the equation and just got better at it, better about it,
- 12:22started handling it yourself. Take the lead in tackling that.
- 12:26How much less problems you would have.
- 12:28You understand what I'm saying? Questions 6 Should I combine
- 12:31finances with my wife or keep separate accounts?
- 12:34And this is a ridiculous question.
- 12:36All money in a marriage should be all one thing like you are
- 12:39one in the same husband and wife.
- 12:42If you have separate accounts it's like you're living 2
- 12:44separate lives. It is my belief that all money
- 12:46should be combined and accessible by both people in the
- 12:49marriage. It's ridiculous to me that
- 12:51people even ask this question and it's also so disgustingly
- 12:55modern. I guess you know what I'm
- 12:56saying? Like she has her job and I have
- 12:59my job, and we have separate accounts and we pay separate
- 13:01bills and we go half and half on.
- 13:03That's ridiculous. It's all one thing.
- 13:05It's a lifelong commitment. I'm going to keep that one
- 13:07short. Actually.
- 13:07That's a stupid question. Of course, all your money should
- 13:10be together and you shouldn't have separate accounts unless
- 13:12they're like separate business accounts or something.
- 13:14That's different. Question 7.
- 13:15How do I get out of debt and build wealth?
- 13:18Well, I'm glad you asked. One critically important thing
- 13:21that you need to understand here is the difference between assets
- 13:25versus liabilities. And most people spend their
- 13:27money on liabilities disguised as assets, and it keeps them
- 13:31stuck. An asset is something that
- 13:33generates money for you. It's bringing money in.
- 13:36And a liability is something that takes money away from you.
- 13:39It takes money out of your pocket.
- 13:41So for example, if you buy a house, you have a mortgage that
- 13:44you're going to have to pay every month.
- 13:46You have repairs, those repair costs.
- 13:48So while most people think that a house is an asset, it's
- 13:52actually a liability. Unless that house is putting
- 13:54money back into your pocket, most people will finance fancy
- 13:59things so that they can look fancier, they can look more
- 14:01wealthy or look rich. But those things that they're
- 14:03buying that they view as assets are not assets because they're
- 14:06taking money out of their pocket every single month and that's
- 14:09putting them further into debt. An asset is something that gives
- 14:13you money, not something that takes money away from you.
- 14:15So for example, this book right here, Warrior Husband, How to Be
- 14:19a Better Husband and Save Your Marriage, is one of my assets.
- 14:22This book is purchased by thousands of men every month and
- 14:25it puts money into my pocket every month.
- 14:27This book isn't taking any money away from.
- 14:30So this book is an asset. Back to the house example, if
- 14:33you buy a house and you rent that house out and somebody is
- 14:36paying you every single month for that house.
- 14:38Now that house is an asset. It's not a liability.
- 14:41And there's still liabilities that come with it.
- 14:43Like you still have to pay for repairs and things like that.
- 14:45But ultimately it's an asset because it's paying you.
- 14:48You understand what I'm saying? And most people, because it's
- 14:50the norm, they tell it. I mean, it's just normal.
- 14:52It's what everybody does. Most people finance everything
- 14:55just to keep up with the Joneses, just to keep up with
- 14:58the checklist of life. And that's why they're in debt.
- 15:01And the difference between your average person and a rich person
- 15:04is that a rich person doesn't get something until they have an
- 15:07asset that is going to cover the cost of that thing.
- 15:10So let's say that they want a super nice car.
- 15:12Like you see, they have like super cars and Rolls Royces and
- 15:15all these things. Well, they make sure that they
- 15:17have an asset that is generating money to pay for that car every
- 15:20month. They don't get the car and then
- 15:22say, oh, I hope from my income I have enough to pay this every
- 15:25month. And it's so annoying that I have
- 15:27a car bill that I have to pay every month.
- 15:28No, they have an asset like this book or something that is
- 15:32consistently generating money for them to cover the cost of
- 15:35that thing. And then it's not taking away
- 15:37from their income. And that's why recently I got a
- 15:40family car because we needed more seats.
- 15:42We had another baby and I bought that car outright.
- 15:44And I know that's not like something that all people can
- 15:47do. Like you can't just decide, oh,
- 15:49of course I'll just go buy a car outright.
- 15:50I had the opportunity to do that, praise God, but I did not
- 15:54want a car payment. I didn't want to have money
- 15:57taken out of my pocket every single month.
- 15:58I would rather own the thing outright.
- 16:00You understand what I'm saying? And why is all of this important
- 16:03when it comes to the question, how do I get out of debt and
- 16:06build wealth? Well, it's super important.
- 16:07If you want to build wealth, you need to know the difference
- 16:10between assets versus liabilities, and you need to
- 16:12have more assets. That's how you get out of debt
- 16:15and that's how you get rich. That's how you build wealth,
- 16:18generational wealth, even assets put money into your pocket every
- 16:22single month. And the more assets that you
- 16:23have that are generating money every month, the wealthier you
- 16:26will be. And when it comes to getting out
- 16:28of debt, knowing all of these things moving forward, you won't
- 16:31do dumb things like finance expensive things just to keep up
- 16:34with your friends and your peers, or spend money on
- 16:37liabilities disguised as assets just to look cool.
- 16:40You'll be a little bit smarter about how you go about things.
- 16:43You'll be smarter moving forward.
- 16:44And how do you get out of debt just a little bit at a time.
- 16:47It's just in chunks. As much as you can, just chip
- 16:50away at it. Start with the smallest thing
- 16:52and tackle the biggest thing later.
- 16:54Be constantly and consistently moving in that direction though.
- 16:57And full transparency here, I still have debts like before I
- 17:00knew all of this stuff, I made dumb decisions just like
- 17:03everybody else. And I'm still paying for those
- 17:05decisions today. And that's why it's so important
- 17:08to begin learning about money and finances as soon as you
- 17:11possibly can. Question 8.
- 17:13How do I balance building a business with being a good
- 17:16husband and father? And there are two concepts here
- 17:19that I want to talk about to answer this question that are
- 17:22from my favorite book of all time, The Way of This Superior
- 17:25Man by David Dita. And the first concept is that
- 17:28your family benefits more from a small window of your undivided
- 17:31attention than they do a large window of time where you're
- 17:35distracted and thinking about other things and wish you could
- 17:38be working on other things. And most guys think that if
- 17:40they're not giving all of their time to their children, if
- 17:43they're not giving all of their time to their wife, then they're
- 17:46doing something wrong. But really, those small windows
- 17:48that you get where your attention is solely focused on
- 17:51them because you've completed everything else that you needed
- 17:54to complete, those times are way more important than an entire
- 17:58day, an entire week of you distracted, worried about
- 18:01completing those things that you didn't complete.
- 18:04And your purpose must come first.
- 18:06And deep down, intuitively, you know that your purpose should
- 18:09come first. And so if you're trying to give
- 18:11too much time to other things, you're going to be distracted.
- 18:14You're going to be pulled away in your mind from your wife and
- 18:17your kids and things like that. So those small windows of time
- 18:20are way more impactful, way more meaningful, way more valuable to
- 18:24them than large windows of your divided attention.
- 18:27The second concept here is that your purpose must come before
- 18:30your relationship. And ultimately, your woman wants
- 18:33your purpose to come before your relationship, even if she says
- 18:36that she doesn't. And imagine if a soldier was
- 18:39going off to war. That's his purpose.
- 18:41That's his duty, his responsibility.
- 18:42He's being called to war. And as he's leaving, his wife is
- 18:45like, no, please don't go. Just stay.
- 18:48If he were to be like, OK, I'll stay.
- 18:50You're right. I'm just gonna stay here and
- 18:52skip war. How would that woman actually
- 18:54feel about his strength if he just said, no, my purpose can
- 18:58wait and I'm just gonna stay here with you?
- 19:00Doesn't that sound crazy? What's more romantic to a woman
- 19:02is when he says, I must go, I must go fight this war.
- 19:05You understand what I'm saying? Like the purpose must come
- 19:08before the relationship. So the question is, how do I
- 19:11balance building a business with being a good husband and father?
- 19:14What that comes down to is finding that balance.
- 19:17You need to find a balance. And the balance weighs heavier
- 19:19on the side of fulfilling your purpose, your duties and your
- 19:23responsibilities and then making time that is meaningful,
- 19:26impactful, special with your wife and your family as as well.
- 19:30And please, Please remember that concept that they benefit more
- 19:33from a small window of your undivided attention than they do
- 19:37a large window of you wishing you could be doing something
- 19:40else. Question 9.
- 19:41How do I start a business with no money?
- 19:44And I got to tell you, man, opportunity to do this is bigger
- 19:47than it has ever been before. But that window is slowly
- 19:51closing. Things are more accessible to
- 19:53everyone than any other time in history, especially when it
- 19:57comes to like online business and building a brand on.
- 20:00Online, there are so many resources, so many things that
- 20:02are just absolutely free that you can use to build a business
- 20:06from absolutely nothing aside from the traditional business
- 20:09loan. You can build an empire
- 20:11basically out of $0.00 starting today.
- 20:14Trust me, it's just a matter of learning how to do that and
- 20:17researching how to do that. But why did I say that?
- 20:19That window, that opportunity is slowly closing?
- 20:22Actually, it's closing super fast.
- 20:23I don't know if I said slowly. That window is closing super
- 20:26duper fast and that's because of AI.
- 20:29And I'm sure you've heard people talking about this recently.
- 20:31People's jobs are going to be replaced with AI this and that.
- 20:34Well, I mean, AI is here. It's just a fact.
- 20:37You can't escape that. And it's only going to be more
- 20:41and more optimized as time goes. And that's why the opportunity
- 20:44that, I mean, you can do anything you want right now,
- 20:47basically starting from $0.00, you can build anything you want
- 20:50online, but eventually that's going to be harder than ever
- 20:54before because of the development of AI.
- 20:56So my best advice to you, if you want to start a business from
- 20:59zero dollars is start studying online business as fast as you
- 21:03possibly can. And then you need to build a
- 21:05personal brand faster. And a personal brand is, for
- 21:09example, I am Michael Riggs. I'm a personal brand.
- 21:12Think of a personal brand as Elon Musk.
- 21:14When you hear Elon Musk, you know who that is right away.
- 21:17And then you think of cars and space programs and now AI.
- 21:21Elon Musk is a personal brand. And you build a personal brand
- 21:24by exposing yourself to the world, releasing content.
- 21:28And why do I say build a personal faster?
- 21:30Well, because you can't be replaced by AI as a person.
- 21:34Your individuality, who you are, your personal brand cannot be
- 21:38replaced by AI. And that's going to be one of
- 21:40the only things that can't be replaced by AI.
- 21:43So how do you start a business from $0.00?
- 21:46Start studying online business as fast as possible and start
- 21:49building your personal brand faster than that.
- 21:52And the 10th and final most asked question is how do I stop
- 21:56being stuck in survival mode and actually build the life I want?
- 22:00Well, step into the man that you were called to be.
- 22:03Become the man that you were called to be.
- 22:05Level up every aspect of your life every single day.
- 22:08Get a little bit better every single day.
- 22:11Pursue greatness in your life. Find and discover the calling
- 22:14and the purpose of your life. Why you're breathing.
- 22:17Pursue that thing relentlessly. Build yourself, develop
- 22:20yourself, mind, body and spirit and never cease doing that.
- 22:24Focus on the vision and the mission and the dream life
- 22:27becoming the best you that you possibly can be in this world.
- 22:31To be the most effective that you can be in this world in
- 22:34service to other people. Level up every aspect of your
- 22:37life. This is the solution to all of
- 22:40your problems becoming the best version of yourself that you can
- 22:44be as the solution to all your marriage problems, your finance
- 22:47problems, most of your health problems, basically all the
- 22:50problems in your life are solved by you becoming the Super
- 22:53awesome leveled up version of yourself, and you can start
- 22:57doing that today. How do you get out of being
- 23:00stuck in survival mode and actually build the life of your
- 23:03dreams? Actually build the life of your
- 23:05dreams. It's really that simple.
- 23:07Get a piece of paper or a notebook or your journal, split
- 23:10it into two columns, and write down all the things that you
- 23:13want to be, trait by trait, accomplishment by
- 23:16accomplishment, skill by skill. The dream version of yourself.
- 23:19Who do you want to be? And in the second column, write
- 23:22down all the steps that you need to begin doing right away to
- 23:25become that person. And then get started.
- 23:28People want instant fixes these days.
- 23:30Everything is instant. Everything is fast, fast, fast.
- 23:32Get used to the concept of the long game.
- 23:35You might be playing the game for a while, but eventually you
- 23:38will be there. There is no magical fix.
- 23:40There is no magical go button. That's like bang dream life.
- 23:43No, you have to build that thing.
- 23:44How do you build the life of your dreams?
- 23:47You build the life of your dreams.
- 23:49You become the man that you were always meant to be, that you
- 23:53were called to be. Not one of us on this earth was
- 23:56called to be mediocre, boring and lame.
- 23:58We were all called to great. The only thing is we have a
- 24:01choice whether to be great or whether or not to be great.
- 24:04So choose greatness and that's what I got for you guys today.
