Speaker 1: exercise the demons. Colorado's road performances have been cursed lately.
• 0:17
Speaker 1: Three straight regulation losses away from ball arena, including one
• 0:21
Speaker 1: against tonight's opponent, the New Jersey Devils. But home cooking

Speaker 1: has cured previous ills this season. Colorado scores more goals
• 0:29
Speaker 1: on home ice than any team in the league. So tonight,
• 0:32
Speaker 1: it's time to set our path straight. Resist the devil,
• 0:36
Speaker 1: and he must flee. So put on your listening sweaters
• 0:39

Speaker 1: Fourth shorthanded goal surrendered this year by the Avalanche. And
• 1:02
Speaker 1: it will go to Connor Brown. His first goal of
• 1:07
Speaker 1: the season. Telegraph pass from McKinnon. And it was a two-on-one.
• 1:19
Speaker 1: The pass was supposed to go to Hughes. Instead, it
• 1:21
Speaker 1: goes off of Kael McCarr and through Mackenzie Blackwood. The
• 1:28
Speaker 1: Avs put themselves in that position, but it's unlucky. 1-0
• 1:32
Speaker 1: New Jersey. Avs out shooting the Devils 8-4, but it's
• 1:35
Speaker 1: the fourth shorthanded goal of this season.
• 1:40
Speaker 2: The Colorado Avalanche have surrendered.
• 1:42
Speaker 1: They gave up a league-leading 14, excuse me.
• 1:46
Speaker 2: 13 last year. Nelson holds up. Down low for Landeskog.
• 1:52
Speaker 2: Back out there. Landeskog. Caves. Lines up. Swart back door.
• 1:56
Speaker 2: Landeskog scores! Oh, captain! My captain!
• 2:03
Speaker 3: With four seconds to go in the power play. Gabe
• 2:08
Speaker 3: Landeskog says, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls of all ages,
• 2:13
Speaker 3: this is a tie hockey game.
• 2:18
Speaker 2: Patience prevails. Taves to Schwartz. He waited for Pesci to commit.

Speaker 2: And then Landeskog tapped it in at the back door.
• 2:27
  Speaker 2: Allen gets beat.
• 2:28
Speaker 1: The Avalanche convert on their second power play and were
• 2:31
Speaker 1: tied at one in the Mile High City. Malinsky collects
• 2:35
Speaker 1: at the point, now it's Burns on the cycle.
• 2:37
Speaker 2: Burns, treads the needle, tip, was there! Back door! Kadri scores!
• 2:43
Speaker 4: The Kadri man can!
• 2:46
Speaker 2: His second goal of the season!
• 2:48
Speaker 1: And the Avalanche have a 2-1 lead, not three minutes
• 2:52
  Speaker 1: into the third.
• 2:58
Speaker 2: They were able to keep it alive.
• 3:00
Speaker 1: Burns, Cycle down low, then up high.
• 3:05
Speaker 2: Throw it towards the net front.
• 3:07
Speaker 1: Waugh, instead of tipping it, was able to take it
• 3:11
Speaker 1: and then slid it for Kadri, who had a wide
• 3:13
  Speaker 1: open net.
• 3:16
Speaker 2: It was a hodgepodge of personnel, but it works out
• 3:19
  Speaker 2: for Jared.
• 3:19
Speaker 1: Bednar's avalanche, who now have scored two straight to lead 2-1.
• 3:25
Speaker 2: Burns with the puck now. Ahead for Parker Kelly. He's
• 3:29
Speaker 2: got a little room to roam. Kelly holding. Keeps it himself.
• 3:31
  Speaker 2: Parker Kelly. Scores!
• 3:37
Speaker 4: Go ahead and silly Parker Kelly. His first point in
• 3:42
  Speaker 4: eight games.
• 3:46
Speaker 1: It's his second goal of the season and he extends
• 3:49
Speaker 1: the lead. It's 3-1 Colorado. What a release from Parker Kelly.
• 3:57
Speaker 1: He faked the pass to Logan O'Connor going towards the
• 3:59
  Speaker 1: net front.
• 4:00
Speaker 2: And just waited for a little bit of daylight underneath
• 4:03
Speaker 2: the glove of Jake Allen.
• 4:08
Speaker 1: That puck was in the back of the net before
• 4:10
Speaker 1: Jake Allen knew anything had happened. What a snipe from
• 4:15
Speaker 1: Parker Kelly. Colorado has now scored three straight goals. And
• 4:21
Speaker 1: now it's Leckanen for Nathan McKinnon. He blazes past Warren,
• 4:24
Speaker 1: blazes past Jim McKinnon.
• 4:26
  Speaker 2: Oh, he scores!
• 4:31
Speaker 4: Let's slip the dog of war! Nathan McKinnon moving at
• 4:38
Speaker 4: the speed of sound, blazed past the.
• 4:41
Speaker 2: Demons and the Devils. Straight through to paradise. It's his
• 4:46
Speaker 2: eighth goal of the season and he makes.
• 4:48
Speaker 1: It 4-1 Colorado in spectacular fashion. He got through Luke Hughes,
• 4:59
Speaker 1: he got through Brett Pesci, and then he got through
• 5:02
  Speaker 1: Jake Allen.
• 5:03
Speaker 2: Here's Cantre on the feed from DJ Hughes to his right.
• 5:06
Speaker 2: Malensky who lets it go. Score!

Speaker 1: Jaden Schwartz gets back on the board. It's his fourth
• 5:24
Speaker 1: goal with the Avalanche, his eighth point of the season,
• 5:27
Speaker 1: and Colorado has put a nickel on New Jersey. It
• 5:35
Speaker 1: started with the rush that Colorado couldn't generate back in
• 5:39
Speaker 1: the first period. But the ice has opened up significantly
• 5:44
Speaker 1: here in the third. Taking advantage of a New Jersey back-to-back.
• 5:48

• 5:52
  Speaker 2: and score.
• 5:53

• 6:13
Speaker 1: for Connor Brown, who hadn't scored at all this season.
• 6:16
Speaker 1: And now he's got two goals tonight. Still a 5-2
• 6:20

Speaker 1: tries to center it.
• 6:26
Speaker 2: It's blocked. Three seconds, two seconds, one second. Sound the horn.
