- 0:00Speaker 1: Can you kind of kind of.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Sure, yeah, can you kind of take us through the uh,
- 0:19Speaker 2: you know, you hit I think you hit a big three,
- 0:21Speaker 2: you know, in the first quarter win steph straight the
- 0:23Speaker 2: hamstring and I guess you guys are celebrating the time
- 0:25Speaker 2: out of steps walking off the floor.
- 0:27Speaker 1: It's kind of the emotions.
- 0:29Speaker 3: That well, I didn't see what happened. I also didn't
- 0:32Speaker 3: see that he had grabbed his hamstring. I just saw
- 0:35Speaker 3: him limping a bit. So I walked over to him,
- 0:38Speaker 3: tell him good pass, and he was kind of walking
- 0:40Speaker 3: towards the locker room, and I say you're good. He
- 0:42Speaker 3: was like, I'll be back, and he just kept pushing.
- 0:46Speaker 3: But we didn't really know what was going on for
- 0:48Speaker 3: a while, several minutes and like I mean game time minutes,
- 0:53Speaker 3: which you know is a lot longer than just meant.
- 0:55Speaker 4: We didn't know for a long time.
- 0:58Speaker 3: And then they finally told us as a ham stream
- 1:01Speaker 3: a little deflating, but we knew, you know, he had
- 1:05Speaker 3: did a great job of helping us build a comfortable
- 1:08Speaker 3: enough league. And Robin turned in the batman. Ah what
- 1:16Speaker 3: y'all call buddy? Alphad turned into Robin, and they just
- 1:22Speaker 3: they filled in so It was beautiful to see. And
- 1:24Speaker 3: then everybody played great minutes. G came in, played great minutes.
- 1:29Speaker 3: The hustle plays from Gee Santos, what do you play?
- 1:32Speaker 3: Three minutes, three minutes and forty three seconds, and he
- 1:35Speaker 3: was hustling all over the glasses, causing, causing, wearing those
- 1:39Speaker 3: guys down. It was beautiful to see. JK great minutes.
- 1:43Speaker 3: Garden At hit a big time shot, timely cuts. Everybody
- 1:48Speaker 3: who came in the game gave us something. Loon was
- 1:51Speaker 3: huge off the bench, gave great minutes, and so, you know,
- 1:53Speaker 3: complete team effort. But we know this series will get
- 1:56Speaker 3: tougher and tougher. What you know, hopefully we get stuff back,
- 2:00Speaker 3: but regardless if we get stepped back or not, that's
- 2:03Speaker 3: a really good team with a lot of pride and
- 2:05Speaker 3: a lot of talent, and the cohesiveness of that team
- 2:09Speaker 3: has grown over the year and so they're together team
- 2:12Speaker 3: and we know they're going to come out fight.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Halftime, we heard kind of had the ice back on
- 2:16Speaker 2: his hamstring.
- 2:17Speaker 3: It sounded like he was a little deflated, but he didn't.
- 2:21Speaker 3: He did try not to show it. You know, he
- 2:25Speaker 3: was just in the locker room waiting on guys to
- 2:28Speaker 3: come in continue to show their support, saying what he
- 2:30Speaker 3: saw going on in the game, but it was tough one.
- 2:37Speaker 5: You guys helped Minnesota over fifteen from three in the
- 2:40Speaker 5: first half and I just saw eight points over Paul.
- 2:43Speaker 5: Was there something special about defence Bevert today or just
- 2:46Speaker 5: something you guys did that was extraordinary?
- 2:49Speaker 3: Just we flew around, We made extra efforts, which was important.
- 2:54Speaker 4: We know this is.
- 2:54Speaker 3: A very very good three point shooting team, and we
- 3:00Speaker 3: knew that we didn't want to give them uncontested looks
- 3:03Speaker 3: they get. They started their threes, they can roll. Uh
- 3:06Speaker 3: saw that last series.
- 3:07Speaker 4: And so.
- 3:09Speaker 3: That's you know, we're not going to hold them the
- 3:12Speaker 3: five threes every night, that's for sure. But incredible job,
- 3:16Speaker 3: incredible game plan put together by CD and start on
- 3:20Speaker 3: the defensive end. I think guys did a great job
- 3:24Speaker 3: of following it, but I think we can be a
- 3:25Speaker 3: lot better.
- 3:26Speaker 6: Dramond eighteen offensive rebound seven by Jimmy. How did you
- 3:30Speaker 6: outplay I play bigger than these timberwarlds.
- 3:33Speaker 3: I think, you know, just being relentless. You know, we
- 3:38Speaker 3: talked about that, uh before the game. Just like Yo,
- 3:41Speaker 3: we got our rebounded pretty pretty badly in the Houston series.
- 3:46Speaker 3: It's not necessarily that we're going to come out rebound
- 3:49Speaker 3: this team, although we did, but we can try to
- 3:51Speaker 3: cut that back some. You know, that's not let that
- 3:53Speaker 3: be a staple, and we're trying to outplay the rebounding
- 3:55Speaker 3: it rebounding edge.
- 3:58Speaker 4: So you know, the eighteen offensive rebounds was huge.
- 4:01Speaker 3: Losing Loon got some big ones, but in saying that,
- 4:04Speaker 3: they missed a lot of shots and it's important that
- 4:07Speaker 3: we're not giving up offensive rebounds. Rudy did an incredible
- 4:09Speaker 3: job starting that game getting offensive rebounds and we were
- 4:12Speaker 3: able to clean it up a bit as the game
- 4:14Speaker 3: went on. But Rudy's a great offensive rebound it has
- 4:17Speaker 3: been his whole career. Showed that a lot in that
- 4:19Speaker 3: Lakers series, so it was something that we wanted to
- 4:22Speaker 3: target focusing on.
- 4:24Speaker 4: But it's a complete team effort.
- 4:26Speaker 3: Man. You know, it's tough to box out Rudy and
- 4:28Speaker 3: go get the ball. So our guards did a great
- 4:31Speaker 3: job of coming back and cleaning up those rebounds and
- 4:33Speaker 3: then it allowed us to get out the run.
- 4:35Speaker 7: Uh, you hit four three pointers? How much were you
- 4:38Speaker 7: channeling Steph tonight?
- 4:42Speaker 3: Now, don't put that on me. I just wanted to
- 4:45Speaker 3: come out, be aggressive and take open shots. I missed
- 4:49Speaker 3: the first one, which felt very good, and the second
- 4:52Speaker 3: one went I shot the pick and pop three.
- 4:55Speaker 4: I was like, all right, that one went in.
- 4:56Speaker 3: I'm I'm gonna keep it rolling. So it was good
- 4:59Speaker 3: to see the ball go through the whole. But you know,
- 5:01Speaker 3: I think.
- 5:04Speaker 4: I was. I enjoyed the defensive end more.
- 5:09Speaker 7: Still, you Steve said he's operating as if he's going
- 5:12Speaker 7: to game plan without Steph for game two because of
- 5:15Speaker 7: the tricky nature of a hamstring. How much falls on
- 5:18Speaker 7: your shoulders for play making you at the eighteen eight
- 5:20Speaker 7: and six to night. Do you feel like you're going
- 5:23Speaker 7: to have to do even more? Does your role change
- 5:26Speaker 7: at all offensively without stuff?
- 5:28Speaker 3: I think, you know, I have four turnovers again tonight,
- 5:31Speaker 3: so I think just taking better care of the ball
- 5:34Speaker 3: because your margin for aaron strings dramatically without stuff.
- 5:38Speaker 4: And so we'll see what coach has in store.
- 5:41Speaker 3: I'm not going to come out and be like, oh man,
- 5:43Speaker 3: I need to be staff like I can't do that,
- 5:47Speaker 3: but you know, I may have to handle a little more.
- 5:51Speaker 3: We'll see, But just play my role, play play the
- 5:55Speaker 3: game under the game plan that coach gives us. If
- 5:58Speaker 3: that's me making more plays, then I'll try to do that.
- 6:00Speaker 3: But we got Jimmy Butler still who is incredible by
- 6:04Speaker 3: making plays for people. So we'll just collectively continue to
- 6:08Speaker 3: move the ball, try to find open guys and try
- 6:10Speaker 3: to make the right place.
- 6:12Speaker 8: We've all seen the Jimmy Buddy dynamic and they're both
- 6:15Speaker 8: new to the team. They're just as joking as laughter.
- 6:18Speaker 8: But what is is there a competitive thing with both
- 6:21Speaker 8: those guys that you see and you feel beyond the
- 6:23Speaker 8: laughter or is the laughter part of all that.
- 6:26Speaker 3: It's a part of it. But they have an incredible relationship.
- 6:29Speaker 3: Y'all don't get to see everything, but there's times where
- 6:33Speaker 3: they really go at it. That's just the nature of
- 6:37Speaker 3: the game we play. They went at it in a
- 6:40Speaker 3: huddle today. But it's great. You know, you love to
- 6:45Speaker 3: see guys engaged and you know, communicating back and forth
- 6:49Speaker 3: to each other. But they have a great dynamic, both
- 6:54Speaker 3: of them playing great basketball for us.
- 6:56Speaker 4: Is two great additions to this team this year.
- 6:59Speaker 9: And you talked about how your role might be different
- 7:01Speaker 9: without stuff. How much different is the offense without stuff?
- 7:05Speaker 9: I mean, because Steve's talked much about Jimmy gives you
- 7:08Speaker 9: another whole sort of identity. How much do you sort
- 7:11Speaker 9: of lean into that now? If stuff can't play for
- 7:13Speaker 9: a while.
- 7:13Speaker 3: We have two, but we know what Jimmy's capable love.
- 7:15Speaker 3: Jimmy's capable of carrying the team. He carried a team
- 7:17Speaker 3: to a finals twice. So we won't panic. We'll we'll
- 7:22Speaker 3: figure out what that means. We have best coaching staff
- 7:25Speaker 3: in the NBA. We know they'll put us in a
- 7:27Speaker 3: good spot and let us know what our offense looks
- 7:30Speaker 3: like with our steph if we have to go on
- 7:32Speaker 3: without them. But we got full confidence and the guys
- 7:35Speaker 3: that are on this team that we can make plays,
- 7:38Speaker 3: we can make shots, and we know we got a
- 7:40Speaker 3: guy that can make that first domino fall and Jimmy.
- 7:44Speaker 4: So we will be all right.
- 7:47Speaker 10: Steve said, you guys really need a day, and he's
- 7:49Speaker 10: going to give you a day tomorrow. I'm just wondering,
- 7:51Speaker 10: after a pretty grueling seven game series, how did everything
- 7:55Speaker 10: feel today for you and how much do you guys
- 7:58Speaker 10: need to day?
- 8:00Speaker 3: Man, you see me in the first half, you saw
- 8:03Speaker 3: me bouncing to that pick and pop three.
- 8:06Speaker 4: I felt this is what I trained for.
- 8:11Speaker 3: You know, this is what we all trained for to
- 8:13Speaker 3: get in these situations.
- 8:16Speaker 4: Thing A beautiful thing.
- 8:17Speaker 3: About the NBA is you play back to backs all year,
- 8:19Speaker 3: so getting one day of rest plenty. Anytime you can
- 8:23Speaker 3: get a day, it's always great for the recovery. So
- 8:28Speaker 3: I think we have an incredible training and performance staff
- 8:33Speaker 3: and they taught me. But this team, everyone's so much
- 8:38Speaker 3: about your body and recovery and how to expedite that process.
- 8:42Speaker 3: And so we followed our league led by Rick, but
- 8:47Speaker 3: you know, the performance led by DT and just try
- 8:51Speaker 3: to take advantage of all the recovery tactics that we can.
- 8:54Speaker 4: But I felt incredible going out there.
- 8:56Speaker 1: As someone who's been through this a lot.
- 8:58Speaker 11: What is it like watching some of these guys their
- 9:00Speaker 11: first like real high pressure, high stakes playoff moments. I know,
- 9:05Speaker 11: you're witnessing them kind of go through like to watch.
- 9:07Speaker 3: It's great, you know, because it takes you back to
- 9:10Speaker 3: those moments when it was your first time.
- 9:11Speaker 4: You know.
- 9:12Speaker 3: I always tell people when I've had the absolute honor
- 9:20Speaker 3: and some luck to win four championships, and the first
- 9:24Speaker 3: one was incredible, the everyone after that the most joy
- 9:31Speaker 3: or you get the most joy out of watching the
- 9:33Speaker 3: guys that won. And for the first time in their
- 9:36Speaker 3: reaction because it just takes you back to that moment
- 9:39Speaker 3: and watching these guys go through their kind of first
- 9:42Speaker 3: testing these playoffs is great because.
- 9:46Speaker 4: You see who stands up, who struggles a little bit.
- 9:48Speaker 3: But as a leader, it's fun because you get to
- 9:51Speaker 3: coach those guys through it.
- 9:52Speaker 4: You get to grab their hand and walk them through.
- 9:54Speaker 3: You get to boost their confidence, you know, if they're
- 9:56Speaker 3: having a rough stretch, and and so it's it's always
- 9:59Speaker 3: a treat watching guys go through it their first time.
- 10:03Speaker 3: But it's on us myself, Jimmy, you know, steph down,
- 10:07Speaker 3: but loan guys who.
- 10:09Speaker 4: Have that experience to coach them up and drag him through.
- 10:13Speaker 11: How crazy is it that Pat Spencer can step into
- 10:16Speaker 11: a playoff game and play like that.
- 10:18Speaker 3: Pat is a damn good basketball player, And I know
- 10:21Speaker 3: he don't look like it.
- 10:24Speaker 4: You don't.
- 10:24Speaker 3: He don't just jump off the page as you when
- 10:26Speaker 3: you see him in the basketball jersey. I don't think
- 10:29Speaker 3: the number sixty one helps him, but he is. He's
- 10:33Speaker 3: one of the toughest guys on this team, that includes myself,
- 10:39Speaker 3: that includes Jimmy. Pat Spencer as tough as nails, and
- 10:43Speaker 3: you know he don't always get the opportunity to play,
- 10:45Speaker 3: but every time he get the opportunity, he's ready. And
- 10:47Speaker 3: I think one thing that he does is he's so
- 10:49Speaker 3: big for this team. He's a voice on the bench
- 10:53Speaker 3: for us. But he's selfless, and when you have guys
- 10:58Speaker 3: that either play low minus or guys coming back from injury,
- 11:01Speaker 3: he goes and plays in those games. He dropped me
- 11:05Speaker 3: off so bad when I was coming back from my
- 11:07Speaker 3: calf injury.
- 11:09Speaker 4: It was embarrassing.
- 11:10Speaker 3: I went out there thinking I'm about to win games,
- 11:13Speaker 3: and I pride myself on winning those games, and I
- 11:16Speaker 3: couldn't get a win. I got one win, but I
- 11:18Speaker 3: couldn't like win, and he was talking crazy to me
- 11:21Speaker 3: and I couldn't do nothing about it. I was mad
- 11:25Speaker 3: as hell. But that is pat and he brings that
- 11:28Speaker 3: same energy every single day. He works so extremely hard,
- 11:32Speaker 3: extremely intelligent, and he has a chip on the shoulder.
- 11:36Speaker 4: He doesn't back down from anyone.
- 11:37Speaker 3: And you know, he's been a great addition to this team,
- 11:40Speaker 3: a good fund by our style. I think he'll be
- 11:44Speaker 3: around here for a long time because he just adds
- 11:47Speaker 3: what he brings to the team. We're lucky to have
- 11:50Speaker 3: him because he from demeanor off the court. He's one
- 11:54Speaker 3: of those guys that he's he's always group there when
- 11:58Speaker 3: young guys, but I think past like twenty seven, twenty eight,
- 12:01Speaker 3: he's lived some life, and so it's always good to
- 12:04Speaker 3: have kind of an elder statesman in there with the
- 12:07Speaker 3: young guys.
- 12:08Speaker 4: And he's not an elder statesman as far as.
- 12:11Speaker 3: NBA experience goes, but life experience and smart as hell.
- 12:17Speaker 3: So you incorporate him with them young guys, and even
- 12:20Speaker 3: when we're not with him, they're still learning because you
- 12:23Speaker 3: got a guy like that who's earned a respect, Like
- 12:25Speaker 3: it's not like, oh man, that's pat and listen, No,
- 12:28Speaker 3: he has everybody here.
- 12:29Speaker 4: And it's beautiful to see him get those opportunities and produce.
- 12:33Speaker 12: Drey Mind, what's the mood of the team right now?
- 12:35Speaker 12: I can imagine coming out there, it's like an adrenaline high.
- 12:39Speaker 12: You win the game on the road, the second straight win,
- 12:41Speaker 12: you go in the locker room. I'm guessing reality sets in.
- 12:44Speaker 12: But how hard the next few games are going to be?
- 12:48Speaker 4: The album was hard. They are hard games to win.
- 12:55Speaker 3: Obviously, things get tougher if we got to go forward
- 12:57Speaker 3: with out stuff. But it's the same mission trying to
- 13:00Speaker 3: keep this thing going when as many games as we can.
- 13:02Speaker 3: So you know, I'm not gonna let that reality set
- 13:07Speaker 3: in right now. We'll start figuring that out tomorrowm enjoyed
- 13:09Speaker 3: his winning. I h rest up, recover, and we'll get
- 13:14Speaker 3: back to the drawing board. Like I said earlier, I
- 13:15Speaker 3: think we got the best coaching staff in the NBA.
- 13:18Speaker 3: They'll they'll put us in a position to be successful,
- 13:20Speaker 3: and it's on us to go out there and perform.
- 13:22Speaker 4: Welcome Buddy and Jimmy. Uh, you haven't done nothing yet.
- 13:28Speaker 10: Draymond declared that tonight Jimmy became Batman and Buddy went
- 13:34Speaker 10: from Alfred to Robin.
- 13:35Speaker 12: Do you guys have any comments on that declaration.
- 13:39Speaker 1: No, I'll start out.
- 13:40Speaker 3: I'll start out, no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 13:42Speaker 4: I'm Batman today. I saved today.
- 13:46Speaker 13: He's still robbing, all right, Well I'm still robbing, yes, uh,
- 13:51Speaker 13: and Steph still Batman and uh, buttered is still who
- 13:56Speaker 13: he is. But he Yeah, another good game, man, except
- 14:02Speaker 13: for that stupid thing you did at the beginning of
- 14:04Speaker 13: the game.
- 14:04Speaker 1: When you have on the right shorts, it's not real
- 14:07Speaker 1: Robin and or Batman like.
- 14:10Speaker 12: Fuddy, what happened with the wardrobe malfunctions, Jimmy stretched out.
- 14:14Speaker 1: That's it was Jimmy Faull.
- 14:15Speaker 4: Okay, Jimmy, and that's what happens.
- 14:19Speaker 14: I was looking at my shorts and I thought it
- 14:20Speaker 14: right when he said, yo, put these on, it was right,
- 14:22Speaker 14: and that was that's that's what you're going with. Yeah,
- 14:25Speaker 14: I'm going on, Jimmy, is Jimmy Faull. It's lockers next
- 14:29Speaker 14: to my locker. I was looking at my shorts. He said, Joe,
- 14:30Speaker 14: I can't have my shorts away, see there, And I
- 14:32Speaker 14: put them on and look just alike. And after that,
- 14:35Speaker 14: that's a fine for it.
- 14:36Speaker 1: This is cool, Jimmy fault. Blame Jimmy, Jimmy.
- 14:40Speaker 8: I mean, obviously, you know, there's always so much responsibility
- 14:42Speaker 8: on you.
- 14:42Speaker 1: But when you see stuff go down.
- 14:44Speaker 14: Sponge billion and shorts too, Like I'm telling you a
- 14:48Speaker 14: sponge billion and he's not doing his job.
- 14:50Speaker 8: When you see stuff go down, what does that communicate
- 14:53Speaker 8: to you? What are you trying to then?
- 14:55Speaker 1: Then?
- 14:55Speaker 8: What did you see from Buddy one stuff?
- 14:58Speaker 13: Yeah? I saw Butter be aggressive and it makes some
- 15:03Speaker 13: some timely shots and get stops in a big way.
- 15:07Speaker 13: I think we all want thirty back that, that is
- 15:10Speaker 13: for sure, But we want him to do his best
- 15:13Speaker 13: for himself, best for our group in the long run,
- 15:16Speaker 13: in the long haul, and until then we can hold
- 15:19Speaker 13: down the fork.
- 15:20Speaker 1: I know we can.
- 15:22Speaker 11: Jimmy, You've been through these types of things before. What's
- 15:25Speaker 11: psychologically happens to play?
- 15:27Speaker 1: You put everything into this and then you can't play. Yeah,
- 15:33Speaker 1: it's tough.
- 15:34Speaker 13: You know, one of the the greatest to ever do it,
- 15:38Speaker 13: and he wants to be out there. I think he
- 15:40Speaker 13: knows and we know how much easier the game is
- 15:43Speaker 13: for us whenever he's hooping at a high level. But uh,
- 15:47Speaker 13: I think we're all prepared to compete and win without him.
- 15:50Speaker 13: We don't want to, but we all prepared and we
- 15:52Speaker 13: may have to. So we'll we'll see what it all
- 15:57Speaker 13: means and what it all says come tomorrow.
- 16:00Speaker 8: I want to mention that you two guys were kind
- 16:01Speaker 8: of going back and forth in the huddle.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Even do you feed off.
- 16:04Speaker 8: I mean, we've seen that, We've seen you guys go
- 16:06Speaker 8: back for you're.
- 16:07Speaker 9: Doing it right now.
- 16:08Speaker 1: Why he's going back and forth, going back and.
- 16:10Speaker 13: Forth because when I you know what, I'm not going
- 16:13Speaker 13: to say exactly what I'm what I'm say in the
- 16:15Speaker 13: locker room. But when I got a mismatch in the post,
- 16:19Speaker 13: don't cut, stay on and stay on the perimeter. If
- 16:21Speaker 13: you got a mismatch, scored the ball. I am going
- 16:23Speaker 13: to score the ball. I can't score the ball when
- 16:25Speaker 13: you cut into my space.
- 16:26Speaker 4: You're a shooter.
- 16:27Speaker 1: You're not even a cutter.
- 16:28Speaker 4: You see.
- 16:29Speaker 13: You saw what happened when you shot a layup in
- 16:30Speaker 13: the first quarter, Smokey Robinson.
- 16:33Speaker 1: That's exactly what you did. Use the backboard too, exactly.
- 16:38Speaker 1: You guys feed off of this though.
- 16:40Speaker 8: I mean, is it like when you can do this,
- 16:43Speaker 8: does it translate to what happens.
- 16:44Speaker 1: On the court.
- 16:45Speaker 13: It actually does because I respect Butter so much because
- 16:49Speaker 13: he knows whatever I'm saying.
- 16:53Speaker 1: My name is Buddy, but that's short for Butter. Uh,
- 16:58Speaker 1: it's he knows.
- 17:00Speaker 13: Was what I'm saying is always towards winning, the same
- 17:03Speaker 13: thing that that Draymond does and everybody, and you can
- 17:06Speaker 13: talk to whoever you want to talk to like that
- 17:08Speaker 13: in the moment, and then you move past it.
- 17:10Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. Like we had another something
- 17:13Speaker 1: in the huddle.
- 17:14Speaker 13: He's like, you know what, You're right, and we move
- 17:15Speaker 13: on because the main goal is to win. He understands
- 17:18Speaker 13: that I just want to win. I understand that he
- 17:20Speaker 13: just want to win. Soever to talk to each other,
- 17:22Speaker 13: Perhaps you guys.
- 17:24Speaker 1: Got a lot of contributions. I'm curious what you're talking about.
- 17:28Speaker 1: What Spencer did. Yeah, I mean Pat was big.
- 17:34Speaker 4: He came in.
- 17:34Speaker 14: Uh you know, I mean you show you guys saw
- 17:36Speaker 14: flashes in the Houston series where he's just being aggressive,
- 17:39Speaker 14: was getting on the floor, getting stops scoring the basketball.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Crafty. Uh.
- 17:45Speaker 14: And Lorna is a prose pro and he's when you
- 17:48Speaker 14: whenever you call his number, he's always available. He doesn't power,
- 17:50Speaker 14: he doesn't complain. He does his job, and he does
- 17:53Speaker 14: his job at high level. His wife Chap fact you.
- 17:56Speaker 10: Guys, Gary compared you to fickering for others. And you're
- 18:01Speaker 10: the little annoying brother and you're the older brother.
- 18:03Speaker 1: And what Gary is I don't know.
- 18:05Speaker 10: Maybe he's the middle brother.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Comes you one that I was doing the dumbest stuff ever.
- 18:09Speaker 1: You literally wore the wrong short the audacity.
- 18:16Speaker 10: Do you think that this creates kind of a little
- 18:18Speaker 10: family environment.
- 18:20Speaker 13: Yeah, I think we really do enjoy being around each other.
- 18:24Speaker 13: We really do enjoy when somebody else is playing great
- 18:30Speaker 13: and whenever everybody else is shining and everybody's happy. So
- 18:34Speaker 13: it's a it's a good feeling that to have this
- 18:36Speaker 13: energy and did.
- 18:37Speaker 10: This energy and relationship kind of help your I mean,
- 18:41Speaker 10: you've you when you got here. It seemed like it
- 18:43Speaker 10: didn't take long for you to be part of the group.
- 18:47Speaker 14: We had to make sure he got his joy back
- 18:49Speaker 14: because somehow he lost his joy. We're not going to
- 18:53Speaker 14: say where he lost his joy, but somehow he lost
- 18:55Speaker 14: his joy.
- 18:55Speaker 1: Why do you keep doing this? Do you even know
- 18:57Speaker 1: what these are called? What are they called? Fingers? Are
- 19:04Speaker 1: mean that?
- 19:08Speaker 4: Wow?
- 19:08Speaker 9: Jimmy how STEP's obviously very unique player, not just how
- 19:12Speaker 9: good he is, but the way he plays with him out,
- 19:15Speaker 9: it seems like the offense has to change the way
- 19:17Speaker 9: it functions, and obviously a lot of it's through you.
- 19:20Speaker 9: How do you see what the offense needs to do?
- 19:22Speaker 9: How would you describe what the offense needs to do?
- 19:24Speaker 9: If he's out for a couple of games.
- 19:27Speaker 13: Ball just needs to move a lot more, find the
- 19:30Speaker 13: open guy, attack closeouts, get into the paint. And I
- 19:36Speaker 13: guess it's gonna be my job to draw a little
- 19:38Speaker 13: bit more attention, Probably not as much as Steph does draw,
- 19:42Speaker 13: but uh, I gotta find a way to score and
- 19:44Speaker 13: get everybody else involved.
- 19:46Speaker 1: Jimmy, your belief in this team is step fast. But
- 19:49Speaker 1: to see this team win without stuff.
- 19:52Speaker 7: A game one on the road of Minnesota in the semifinals,
- 19:54Speaker 7: what does that do for this team?
- 19:56Speaker 13: I've said it before. Any team with me on it
- 20:01Speaker 13: I think has a chance. And I know that any
- 20:03Speaker 13: team with Stefana does have a chance. And my guys
- 20:06Speaker 13: believe it too. They work so hard at their craft
- 20:10Speaker 13: every single day. They don't shy away from any moment,
- 20:13Speaker 13: from any matchup. They'll do whatever you ask them to
- 20:15Speaker 13: do to make sure that we have a chance of winning.
- 20:17Speaker 13: And we're gonna need all hands on deck if thirty
- 20:21Speaker 13: is not ready to go.
- 20:22Speaker 12: Jimmy, you've always played within the construct of the team.
- 20:25Speaker 12: You never really want to stand out. But in other
- 20:28Speaker 12: stops you've had to be a high usage guy. Are
- 20:31Speaker 12: you prepared to take on that responsibility again?
- 20:35Speaker 1: Uh?
- 20:37Speaker 13: If I have to, I don't. I'm not a volume shooter,
- 20:40Speaker 13: never have been, probably never will be. But I'm gonna
- 20:43Speaker 13: play the right way. My guys is open. Uh, I'm
- 20:46Speaker 13: a pass it. I mean, you'll shoot it and if
- 20:47Speaker 13: they don't shoot it. Probably gonna yell at them for
- 20:49Speaker 13: not shooting the ball. And I'm just gonna have to
- 20:52Speaker 13: be efficient. I'm gonna have to play hard. I know
- 20:54Speaker 13: I will have a lot of minutes coming my way.
- 20:57Speaker 1: I trained for this. Are we ready for it?
- 21:00Speaker 11: Jimmy Steve said, but he is a two way player? Now, Like,
- 21:04Speaker 11: how tough was it for you to mold him into that?
- 21:07Speaker 4: Me?
- 21:07Speaker 1: Mold him and you know what I do be frying
- 21:10Speaker 1: him one on one? Don'ta you? Perhaps? Yeah, Uh ain't
- 21:17Speaker 1: gonna lie.
- 21:17Speaker 13: Butter Buttered has been stepping up big time on the
- 21:19Speaker 13: defensive side of the ball for sure to start out
- 21:21Speaker 13: the games. And it's crazy because I think he what
- 21:24Speaker 13: you got two points a have, but his defense was
- 21:28Speaker 13: off the charts and you got the toughest matchup in
- 21:31Speaker 13: Garden Anthony Edwards. And then he came back still guarding
- 21:35Speaker 13: at a high level and creating making shots. Two way
- 21:39Speaker 13: players a stretch. But uh, Buttered is he's been key.
- 21:42Speaker 13: He's been key.
- 21:43Speaker 1: I'm nice for both of you guys.
- 21:47Speaker 6: Buddy, you finished with eight rebounds, Jimmy, you came out
- 21:49Speaker 6: and had six offensive rebounds in the first half. Just
- 21:52Speaker 6: just a mentality against this bigger team going up and
- 21:54Speaker 6: getting those rebounds.
- 21:57Speaker 14: I think the mindset was, uh box no, Rudy go Bertty,
- 22:00Speaker 14: he got a fair share of them, but just box
- 22:02Speaker 14: him out. We know what he did in the Lakers
- 22:04Speaker 14: series and how effective he was, and uh we had
- 22:07Speaker 14: guys uh doing it, doing it to work early to
- 22:10Speaker 14: prevent that. And uh, she's gonna keep on continuing the boards.
- 22:13Speaker 14: If you contain the boards and get out and play
- 22:15Speaker 14: out basketball and put the ball in Jimmy's hands like
- 22:17Speaker 14: you all been talking about, and uh, just trusting to
- 22:19Speaker 14: make the right play, I think it would be in
- 22:20Speaker 14: good shape.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Jimmie, there was there was some hype about you coming
- 22:24Speaker 2: back playing here for the first time since twenty twenty one.
- 22:26Speaker 1: Did you notice the light boos response? That doesn't bother me,
- 22:31Speaker 1: But people do have to wash your mouth.
- 22:33Speaker 4: You know.
- 22:34Speaker 13: It's cool with the booths and all of this stuff,
- 22:36Speaker 13: but you call them people out of their names and
- 22:38Speaker 13: all of that stuff, which I can hear what they say.
- 22:40Speaker 1: You want me to repeat it, Yeah, no, I'm not
- 22:42Speaker 1: gonna repeat it. It's not good.
- 22:44Speaker 13: Uh that that that's unnecessary. The booze, I get it.
- 22:49Speaker 13: I understand let's just keep it at that.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Yeah, watch your mouth. Thanks a little bro, Thank you,
