- 0:21Speaker 2: and I'm sad. Yeah, sorry, dude, I know twenty by
- 0:25Speaker 2: whistles blah blah blah were blow the whistle look presented
- 0:29Speaker 2: by DraftKings sports book and official sports betting partner.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Of the NFL.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Download the DraftKings app and use the code Bobby sports
- 0:35Speaker 2: to get in on the action. Uh, it's Arkansas loss
- 0:38Speaker 2: and it sucks. It sucks and it sucks.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Kevin.
- 0:42Speaker 3: Yeah, Patriots got whooped and it sucks. It sucks really bad.
- 0:45Speaker 1: Who do they get whooped by?
- 0:47Speaker 3: I don't know. The Austin Longhorns.
- 0:52Speaker 4: Heyy and the Cowboys are back. Baby, we're back.
- 0:56Speaker 1: They're bad. You're back. We're back.
- 0:58Speaker 3: The Patriots are really bad.
- 0:59Speaker 1: You're almost back. Well, I did have a theory.
- 1:02Speaker 2: It was close back than I can remember you being
- 1:03Speaker 2: in like ten years. Yeah, man, fifteen years.
- 1:06Speaker 4: I mean after four weeks sure, yeah yeah, even where
- 1:09Speaker 4: it digs out. Yeah, I think what is Bland? The
- 1:12Speaker 4: guy that got two picks yesterday? I think he is
- 1:15Speaker 4: his replacement. So if he's got two picks and he's
- 1:18Speaker 4: Dig's replacement, I think we're gonna be over.
- 1:20Speaker 2: Well that's not exactly how it works, doesn't know, but
- 1:23Speaker 2: I do like that he had some encouraging numbers and plays.
- 1:27Speaker 4: I think he got bullied last week, so I think
- 1:30Speaker 4: it's a huge improvement that it.
- 1:31Speaker 3: Helps when our number one wide receiver is who.
- 1:35Speaker 2: Juju, I thought you were gonna say, hurt as Canna
- 1:37Speaker 2: say who? You have a receiver series? We don't have
- 1:38Speaker 2: one right right?
- 1:39Speaker 5: Right?
- 1:39Speaker 3: Our tight end?
- 1:40Speaker 1: You have two tight ends?
- 1:41Speaker 3: Yeah, and those are number one guys.
- 1:44Speaker 6: Man.
- 1:44Speaker 1: Henry made a one head of catch.
- 1:46Speaker 3: Yeah, it was nice.
- 1:47Speaker 1: It's not I mean moving to his left one handed falling.
- 1:51Speaker 1: It was awesome. Yeah, that's about the only highlight.
- 1:53Speaker 3: Yeah, we got nothing on offense.
- 1:55Speaker 6: That's bad.
- 1:55Speaker 4: I really did feel for Belichick a little bit because
- 1:59Speaker 4: I mean, obviously he's a masterminds and genius at the game,
- 2:02Speaker 4: but he's just got nothing to work with.
- 2:04Speaker 1: And I feel bad for him.
- 2:05Speaker 3: But that's also on him because he's a GM.
- 2:07Speaker 1: That's true. Absolutely.
- 2:10Speaker 2: Lincoln Riley at USC where people are like and they
- 2:13Speaker 2: can't stop anybody, but all they all they have if
- 2:16Speaker 2: they get somebody to run the defense. Well wells also
- 2:18Speaker 2: the head coach who could change the culture and bring
- 2:21Speaker 2: in a defensive coordinator who so yes, like I feel bad, Flake.
- 2:26Speaker 1: They only the score a bunch of pots. They can't stop. No, no, no, no. Uh.
- 2:30Speaker 1: The Arkansas game was troubling. It just was we lost.
- 2:38Speaker 2: He's gonna probably be an All American freshman are tied
- 2:41Speaker 2: end He had a dude, a couple of touchdowns one
- 2:42Speaker 2: hundred yards last week and first series falls on his shoulder.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Have they raced his collar road?
- 2:48Speaker 2: Yeah? They were like, could be out six to eight weeks,
- 2:51Speaker 2: but I don't think he comes back at all. That sucks,
- 2:53Speaker 2: which sucks, and he is in our episode of Too
- 2:55Speaker 2: Much Access with Arkansas.
- 2:58Speaker 1: But that was bad.
- 2:59Speaker 2: When we picked off a ball halftime, ran it back
- 3:01Speaker 2: for a touchdown immediately, and Kevin's.
- 3:03Speaker 1: Like, we got and we're going to do it. Oh Kevin,
- 3:05Speaker 1: don't do that. I know, don't do that.
- 3:06Speaker 3: No no, no, no no, I said, great start.
- 3:10Speaker 1: I can't say that either.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Why oh yeah from sore losers because lunchboxes out sick.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Raymond goes here with us again, Jay, Yeah, you don't
- 3:19Speaker 2: you kind of don't do that.
- 3:20Speaker 1: The game's over. I've learned that you just don't text
- 3:22Speaker 1: bones at all.
- 3:23Speaker 3: Yeah, in Arkansas, after five minutes from by, I was like, yeah,
- 3:26Speaker 3: I ain't get a text back.
- 3:29Speaker 2: Unless they win. I can get a text back too.
- 3:31Speaker 2: I don't want to hear that some sucks. I want
- 3:33Speaker 2: to hear somethings awesome. I just I don't hear anything
- 3:36Speaker 2: after the game, Oh that sucked, or what a great win.
- 3:38Speaker 2: That's fine, but during it because if it goes wrong
- 3:42Speaker 2: like it did, I'm gonna blame you for jinxing it.
- 3:44Speaker 1: But he doesn't believe in the jinks. So that's weird too.
- 3:47Speaker 6: I don't.
- 3:47Speaker 1: I don't believe in the jinks.
- 3:48Speaker 3: I deserve it.
- 3:49Speaker 1: So but it was tough.
- 3:50Speaker 2: And now everybody's calling for our coach's head. Oh come on,
- 3:53Speaker 2: Eddie's got on his glove today.
- 3:55Speaker 4: It's right South Carolina game cocks. I thought they were
- 3:57Speaker 4: going to make that a better game too.
- 3:59Speaker 2: I can reach you my bets in a second. But
- 4:03Speaker 2: let me say this about Sam Pittman at Arkansas because
- 4:07Speaker 2: now they're like, get a.
- 4:08Speaker 1: New coach, get a new coach.
- 4:10Speaker 2: It's a weird place to be and it's happened to
- 4:13Speaker 2: me the last few times, kind of knowing the coach,
- 4:16Speaker 2: because you kind of know him and you root for him,
- 4:18Speaker 2: and I think Sam Patman is a good coach.
- 4:19Speaker 1: I think it's going to be a difficult year, just
- 4:25Speaker 1: in general.
- 4:26Speaker 2: We play Ole Miss next and we're all taking eleven
- 4:28Speaker 2: point dog at ole Miss. Oh Miss just beat LSU.
- 4:32Speaker 2: They both scored seven hundred points. It was a crazy,
- 4:34Speaker 2: crazy day. So I think we can win the game,
- 4:37Speaker 2: but I always think that. But I think if he
- 4:39Speaker 2: doesn't win this game and then we have to play Alabama,
- 4:43Speaker 2: it's a five game losing streak.
- 4:45Speaker 1: It's just it's gonna get pretty toxic. And I hate that.
- 4:49Speaker 4: Did you see the TikTok of a fan looking over
- 4:52Speaker 4: the shoulder of another fan watching him text.
- 4:55Speaker 2: I thought it was set up, though for could have been.
- 4:59Speaker 2: I thought it was set up where they were like
- 5:00Speaker 2: get yeah the pit. Yeahah, I thought it was set up.
- 5:03Speaker 2: I do not think we need to make a coaching change.
- 5:06Speaker 2: I don't think we need to start over right now.
- 5:08Speaker 2: I like, I still believe, maybe not this year is
- 5:11Speaker 2: gonna be the year that I thought it was. But
- 5:13Speaker 2: just for the record, I still believe, and it was
- 5:15Speaker 2: the backup quarterback too. Would you guys gotten beat by
- 5:17Speaker 2: even more? We got beat by him last year because
- 5:20Speaker 2: he was he beat us last year starting. His dad
- 5:23Speaker 2: is Brad Johnson. He's about the best backup he could
- 5:25Speaker 2: possibly have, you know, jo Brad Johnson, not Chad got
- 5:28Speaker 2: And he was sitting in the stands with Jason Witten.
- 5:31Speaker 7: Yeah wait, wait, gotta bring crap up. Well, is he
- 5:34Speaker 7: was he a left year? Was it a different year
- 5:35Speaker 7: he was a lefty?
- 5:36Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 5:36Speaker 3: Max Johnson, right, yeah, it is, yeah, I think so.
- 5:38Speaker 7: I thought I read something that they said the backup
- 5:40Speaker 7: is pretty dang good.
- 5:41Speaker 3: So what did you think about Kj's game? I mean
- 5:44Speaker 3: seven times seven eight times stupid?
- 5:46Speaker 7: The crazy thing about kJ Jefferson, he was top twenty Heisman.
- 5:50Speaker 2: Yeah, before the season. Our offensive line has just been terrible.
- 5:53Speaker 2: So I'm moving off that because I'm done with it.
- 5:55Speaker 2: Real quick though, Cam Little though not real quick. Cam
- 5:58Speaker 2: Little's a b a dude, Yeah, And like really I
- 6:01Speaker 2: text him after the game and I was like, dude,
- 6:03Speaker 2: he had like three fifty yarders.
- 6:05Speaker 1: I know, at least two fifty plus yarders.
- 6:07Speaker 5: You know.
- 6:08Speaker 3: My favorite part after the second fifty yarder, his offensive
- 6:11Speaker 3: Lineman was getting in like a scruffle with somebody on
- 6:14Speaker 3: the team and he's like getting in the middle. He's
- 6:15Speaker 3: grabbing him.
- 6:15Speaker 4: And he's like, come on, man, hey, it's not a
- 6:17Speaker 4: big guy.
- 6:19Speaker 2: But he's like, come on, let me ask you guys,
- 6:21Speaker 2: and Ray, I'd like your opinions.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Yes, I just looked up Kim Little the Kicker. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 6:26Speaker 1: he was on our episode.
- 6:26Speaker 7: Too, Ray, So but nobody see you were laughing at I.
- 6:35Speaker 2: Was about to say, they're so inside. He's the Arkansas Kicker.
- 6:39Speaker 2: So here's the deal.
- 6:40Speaker 1: You had to google it.
- 6:42Speaker 2: Do you think that I should put out the ark
- 6:44Speaker 2: and Saw too much access today?
- 6:46Speaker 1: Because I can. Luke is hurt.
- 6:50Speaker 2: I could put it out in honor of Luke, who
- 6:52Speaker 2: got hurt from his collar bone. I don't want to
- 6:54Speaker 2: put it out after a loss, but I can. We've
- 6:56Speaker 2: been sitting on it for a while, kind of running
- 6:58Speaker 2: out of games, but it's so tallable. Listen, we're gonna
- 7:00Speaker 2: win again because we're playing it. It may be three
- 7:03Speaker 2: or four weeks though. What do you think should I
- 7:06Speaker 2: put it out that Arkansas went out today?
- 7:08Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 7:09Speaker 1: Are people just gonna be so? Is it gonna be
- 7:11Speaker 1: so toxic?
- 7:11Speaker 3: Because it could get worse. Like you were saying. No,
- 7:15Speaker 3: you were saying you could go on a five.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Kansastry, could you could?
- 7:19Speaker 5: So?
- 7:20Speaker 1: Okay, Well, before.
- 7:21Speaker 3: You know, it would get twenty twenty four. It's like, okay,
- 7:23Speaker 3: let's put it out.
- 7:24Speaker 4: No, okay, and you have stuck to this rule of
- 7:27Speaker 4: like don't put it out of the team's loss. I'm like, bas,
- 7:28Speaker 4: you can't do that, Like, but I could because I
- 7:30Speaker 4: could put Kansas State out today, which they were on
- 7:33Speaker 4: a buy so it's okay.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Yeah, they didn't lose. Which, by the way, this is
- 7:35Speaker 2: gonna air tomorrow. So whatever we decides already up, I
- 7:37Speaker 2: could put Kansas State out.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Oh oh great, hey, whatever you want.
- 7:40Speaker 2: Man, No no, no, no, no.
- 7:42Speaker 5: No no.
- 7:42Speaker 2: I'm saying, whatever we decide, here's what I'm gonna do.
- 7:44Speaker 2: So people listening, whatever we land on is what I
- 7:47Speaker 2: did Western Kentucky want I believe yep, we have that one.
- 7:51Speaker 2: I just want to put un we in Western Kentucky
- 7:53Speaker 2: back to back.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Okay, yep. So, and Kansas is in the hopper.
- 7:57Speaker 2: Kansas State is there. It's like eighty five percent down.
- 8:00Speaker 2: But I could have it done a couple hours. Read
- 8:01Speaker 2: would be here Butody he's having a root canal and
- 8:03Speaker 2: he was like, hey, man, I'm a finished roucnal, come
- 8:05Speaker 2: right to work.
- 8:05Speaker 1: I was like, no, you go home. And then he's
- 8:07Speaker 1: going to finish the root canow and finish the edit too.
- 8:09Speaker 2: Yeah, that's crazy. I've also editing one, but I've hired
- 8:13Speaker 2: his roommate to help them. His roommates also video audio video.
- 8:17Speaker 2: So what do you what do you think? Let's see
- 8:21Speaker 2: ray our show that we do. I was like, I
- 8:22Speaker 2: don't want to put it out for a loss. But
- 8:24Speaker 2: then one of the guys we featured, Bocus collar Bone
- 8:26Speaker 2: is out for the year, heard that. Yeah, so what
- 8:27Speaker 2: would you do if you were us? I say, you
- 8:29Speaker 2: wait until Bam a week again.
- 8:32Speaker 1: That could be that'll be this way, and that'll be
- 8:34Speaker 1: if we lose to Old Miss. Correct.
- 8:36Speaker 7: I mean I think you may beat old Miss. Old
- 8:37Speaker 7: Miss is coming off that flying game against LSU. I
- 8:40Speaker 7: haven't been very impressed with Dart and Old Miss. Give
- 8:43Speaker 7: me Bam a week.
- 8:44Speaker 1: You guys release it, okay, I mean it's not a
- 8:47Speaker 1: bad little so you go hold it a week.
- 8:50Speaker 3: I say you put it out there because why again,
- 8:52Speaker 3: because you got old Miss? And sorry, Ray, I know
- 8:54Speaker 3: you said that, but they just put up sixty on
- 8:55Speaker 3: LSU and then you got Bama right, So, like I said,
- 8:59Speaker 3: it could get uglier before it gets better.
- 9:01Speaker 4: Eddie, put it out, put it out. I think it's
- 9:04Speaker 4: a great episode and I want people to see it.
- 9:07Speaker 4: So I'm like, put it out right now.
- 9:09Speaker 1: That's my vote, Okay, and cam Little had a great.
- 9:13Speaker 2: Game, Mike and cam Little's a badass my and Mike's
- 9:15Speaker 2: the producer of the Executi producer of that show.
- 9:17Speaker 1: I'm also with Eddie.
- 9:18Speaker 3: I think you put it out right, Okay.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Then I'll put it out. I'll put it up today.
- 9:21Speaker 2: Ray I felt that though, I like where your mine was. Hey,
- 9:24Speaker 2: is your running back hurt or Yeah? He missed the
- 9:26Speaker 2: first rocket, Yeah, he missed two of the last three games.
- 9:30Speaker 3: Phone.
- 9:31Speaker 7: I was just trying to figure out why this team
- 9:33Speaker 7: isn't doing as good as they were supposed to do.
- 9:34Speaker 7: I actually thought they're gonna be pretty good this year.
- 9:37Speaker 7: Rockett Sanders got hurt in the first game, miss two games.
- 9:39Speaker 7: I love kJ Jeffers me too, and he could come
- 9:42Speaker 7: back next year, but I don't know that he will. Man,
- 9:43Speaker 7: but he Rockett Sanders Heisman guy early, but hurt whatever,
- 9:50Speaker 7: and I feel like he was one hundred percent yesterday
- 9:51Speaker 7: moving off the Arkansas game.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Okay, but I'll put it out today.
- 9:54Speaker 2: Uh, I got a few things i'd like to Are
- 9:56Speaker 2: you do betting my betting stats? Oh yeah, Well I
- 10:00Speaker 2: like to say this because Kevin came in and was like, yo, bro,
- 10:02Speaker 2: you are right.
- 10:05Speaker 1: Yeah, it's concerned.
- 10:07Speaker 3: You need to look over your boil.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Mondays or Monday is the big recovery day.
- 10:12Speaker 4: Is usually with people, Hey, you want ray on your sidebones,
- 10:16Speaker 4: you want ray on your side.
- 10:18Speaker 2: This weekend, I made a total of thirty eight bets. Okay,
- 10:20Speaker 2: but this is what's happening. I'm doing end games. Is
- 10:23Speaker 2: that Saturday and Sunday is at Friday to Monday?
- 10:26Speaker 6: No, it's Monday.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Yeah, it's Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Doing like he's doing nine of the day pretty much.
- 10:33Speaker 1: It sounds like a lot of chasing, no chasing, a
- 10:36Speaker 1: lot of live Like I'm in a good spot, I'm
- 10:38Speaker 1: gonna keep running too. I do both.
- 10:40Speaker 2: Yeah, so if I'm in a good place, I'm like,
- 10:42Speaker 2: oh I can keep let me just keep hitting this
- 10:44Speaker 2: because I like where the spread's going.
- 10:46Speaker 7: But that being said, that's interesting You'll bet it and
- 10:51Speaker 7: then bet the same game again because you just like
- 10:53Speaker 7: because because if the odds have gotten better from what
- 10:56Speaker 7: I originally was on, I feel good about it.
- 10:58Speaker 1: I jump on.
- 10:58Speaker 8: You've never done that, ray Im No, not now Now
- 11:01Speaker 8: that I do thirty dollars a week in yea, I
- 11:04Speaker 8: would say that most seventy sixty percent of my bets
- 11:08Speaker 8: are in game, yes, almost half.
- 11:10Speaker 2: Yes, So it's not that I'm just making a bunch
- 11:12Speaker 2: of bets and sitting and watching.
- 11:14Speaker 7: There is something to an end game bet where you
- 11:16Speaker 7: see the flow of the game. I mean, you turn
- 11:18Speaker 7: on that Cowboys Patriots game. You know they're about to
- 11:20Speaker 7: get smacked right in the face.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Oh Titans game. I mean the Bengals didn't have a
- 11:24Speaker 1: chance in that game.
- 11:25Speaker 2: Crazy, So Eric Henry Run was running through people crazy. Yeah, okay, great,
- 11:32Speaker 2: here we go. Uh.
- 11:33Speaker 1: And I lost most of my money on the Arkansas game.
- 11:35Speaker 1: I'm gonna be honest.
- 11:36Speaker 2: See, that's the thing. You got to stay away from
- 11:37Speaker 2: your team. I don't though, Oh yeah, don don't better
- 11:39Speaker 2: your team. No, I always do, and I I And
- 11:41Speaker 2: the reason I lost. I would say the big loss
- 11:44Speaker 2: was Arkansas, right because I just kept Yeah, there was like,
- 11:47Speaker 2: I just like boom fifty. I like spread spreads better,
- 11:51Speaker 2: spreads better. Yeah, because they got points and then they
- 11:53Speaker 2: were there. It's fourteen and a half and I needed
- 11:55Speaker 2: them to stop on the goal.
- 11:57Speaker 1: It was stupid. I hate it, all of it. But
- 11:58Speaker 1: here we go.
- 11:59Speaker 2: NCAA bet total bets twenty nine bet on NC double
- 12:02Speaker 2: A football three three hundred and ney five dollars winnings
- 12:08Speaker 2: winnings meeting. Yeah, not that I won total money back
- 12:11Speaker 2: two eight hundred and forty three.
- 12:13Speaker 1: That's a loss. So come on, NFL, Come on NFL
- 12:19Speaker 1: for a total of.
- 12:23Speaker 2: I think I'm like negative five hundred or something, five
- 12:26Speaker 2: to fifty two five and NCUBLEA for the year.
- 12:29Speaker 3: No, that was just this weekend.
- 12:30Speaker 1: Stupid. What am I for the year? N C double.
- 12:33Speaker 3: A that I would have to check?
- 12:36Speaker 2: Okay, in NFL, I only had nine bets. I was
- 12:39Speaker 2: in Arkansas, so I couldn't bet over there.
- 12:40Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, did they started eight thirty eight? I
- 12:44Speaker 1: bet there.
- 12:45Speaker 2: I bet the I did bet the Jacksonville minus thirty
- 12:47Speaker 2: game and hit it, so.
- 12:49Speaker 7: I did first touchdown score. I was like, well that
- 12:51Speaker 7: was stupid. Now I just got to watch this stupid
- 12:53Speaker 7: game in London with no bet on it.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Did you watch the toy story version?
- 12:56Speaker 6: I did?
- 12:57Speaker 7: Graphics absolutely terrible if you play PlayStation, yeah.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Like mob I liked it though. I thought it was good.
- 13:03Speaker 7: But they wouldn't even tackle the guys. The guy it
- 13:04Speaker 7: was a glitch so the guys would still stand up.
- 13:07Speaker 1: It was so stupid. Oh really, it wouldn't tack. I
- 13:09Speaker 1: mean would sometimes. Yeah, they was so mad at the animation.
- 13:12Speaker 7: It was DESPN plus because you had. I canceled it
- 13:16Speaker 7: after that because he kept glitching. I would like go
- 13:19Speaker 7: to it and it would A game will resume and
- 13:21Speaker 7: I'm like, what the game's on right now?
- 13:23Speaker 2: I got a first touchdown score? No, sometimes they're they're
- 13:25Speaker 2: on commercial. I want to see commercials too. I want
- 13:27Speaker 2: to see it all.
- 13:29Speaker 5: All right.
- 13:31Speaker 2: I thought it was pretty cool because it was so
- 13:32Speaker 2: instant totally it was.
- 13:33Speaker 1: It wasn't me, it was.
- 13:34Speaker 2: Instantaneous with what was happening. NFL Bets again, I was
- 13:37Speaker 2: an Arkansas. I can't bet in Arkansas. So I made
- 13:39Speaker 2: up a few uh before I left. So I didn't
- 13:42Speaker 2: do a lot of end games, which is what I
- 13:43Speaker 2: like to do. So here you go. NFL Bets nine
- 13:47Speaker 2: Wagered six twenty five, winning six sixty four.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Okay, a little bit.
- 13:52Speaker 2: I've hit every week on NFL, which is crazy. I
- 13:54Speaker 2: don't expect to so total on the year. Bets one
- 14:00Speaker 2: hundred and three wager twelve four undre and ninety four dollars.
- 14:04Speaker 2: I meant negative sixty eight dollars for the year. The
- 14:07Speaker 2: Arkansas game kicking right the balls? I mean, what am
- 14:11Speaker 2: I overall in college?
- 14:12Speaker 3: I got it's gonna take.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Okay, don't worry about it. For as much as you bet, though,
- 14:15Speaker 1: it's I'll take that. Except for the Arkansas kicking the balls.
- 14:18Speaker 1: And I was just I was up.
- 14:20Speaker 7: I mean, I've been doing pretty good. This is when
- 14:22Speaker 7: your team wins and you bet against them.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Really, that's why you don't bet.
- 14:25Speaker 7: I never bet against my team, and I did that
- 14:27Speaker 7: with the balls in South Carolina and it just looked
- 14:29Speaker 7: like crap. And I went to bed and basic goes,
- 14:31Speaker 7: did you bet against the balls last night?
- 14:32Speaker 1: I was like, yeah, I never bet it.
- 14:37Speaker 7: I can't know your team wins and then you still
- 14:39Speaker 7: feel like, yeah, that's.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Like you lose regardless.
- 14:44Speaker 4: So it happened to me again. Twelve game parlay. I
- 14:47Speaker 4: hit all of them except one eleven it's important to
- 14:51Speaker 4: tell us where was it at in it It was
- 14:53Speaker 4: NFL and the game was a noon game. It was
- 14:55Speaker 4: Pittsburgh Houston.
- 14:56Speaker 1: How many into the parlay though, how many of you
- 14:59Speaker 1: had you hit?
- 15:00Speaker 5: Well?
- 15:00Speaker 4: Probably at that point I think three games had already
- 15:02Speaker 4: hit and that four.
- 15:04Speaker 1: Were they offering you a cash out?
- 15:06Speaker 5: No?
- 15:06Speaker 4: Not, because it was all it was all the noon
- 15:08Speaker 4: games got it.
- 15:09Speaker 1: So no, no cash out.
- 15:11Speaker 7: Sorry buddy, But dude, that you know what that means
- 15:13Speaker 7: though it's still lost, that's what that means.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Yeah, that's not the way I was.
- 15:16Speaker 5: Looking at all.
- 15:17Speaker 1: It means that there was one dollar to win.
- 15:19Speaker 4: Like I think it was mostly winners money lines, so
- 15:21Speaker 4: it was like seven hundred bucks. That's awesome, But uh,
- 15:25Speaker 4: this means, guys, this is two weeks in a row.
- 15:26Speaker 4: This means that I am bound to hit. That's not
- 15:28Speaker 4: what it means.
- 15:29Speaker 6: Idi.
- 15:29Speaker 2: It has nothing to do with the relationship of you
- 15:30Speaker 2: in versus the next week. Are you sure I'm positive.
- 15:33Speaker 4: I've gotten two weeks in a row where I'm one
- 15:34Speaker 4: away from winning the big Dog.
- 15:36Speaker 1: I mean twelve teams. Dude, You're never going to hit that.
- 15:39Speaker 1: I was one away. It was in Houston and Pittsburgh.
- 15:41Speaker 7: Drop it into the sixes and sevens and you'll be
- 15:44Speaker 7: cleaning up.
- 15:45Speaker 1: Yeah, no you won't. That's it doesn't work like that either.
- 15:48Speaker 3: I almost hit seven. I got six.
- 15:50Speaker 2: I'm going to roll through some games and then if
- 15:53Speaker 2: you watched it and you have something you want to
- 15:54Speaker 2: say about it, let me know. Okay, I'll do college first.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Georgia and Auburn. I did watch a lot of this game,
- 16:00Speaker 2: and Auburn almost won this freaking game. Yeah, and if
- 16:02Speaker 2: it weren't for a touchdown from Rock Bowers late, it
- 16:05Speaker 2: had gone to overtime.
- 16:06Speaker 3: He's so good.
- 16:08Speaker 1: I lost some money on that game because that Georgia
- 16:10Speaker 1: in the line, he's their target. Yeah, he is the
- 16:12Speaker 1: dude there. Yeah.
- 16:14Speaker 2: Look, Arburn looked good. Georgia didn't look great. I don't
- 16:18Speaker 2: know which one. Yeah, yeah, there's always that confu. It's
- 16:21Speaker 2: like when Notre Dame in Ohio State play, Who's are
- 16:22Speaker 2: they greater?
- 16:23Speaker 6: They middle?
- 16:23Speaker 1: Oh they're But I thought it was a really good
- 16:25Speaker 1: showing for Horbarn.
- 16:26Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 16:27Speaker 2: It's it's hard to take a loss and be like,
- 16:28Speaker 2: hey nice, But I thought that's pretty good for Hugh
- 16:30Speaker 2: Freeze Michigan and Nebraska. I watched like five minutes of it,
- 16:33Speaker 2: right you're in Michigan. It was I mean, it was like, okay,
- 16:36Speaker 2: let me see your balls, boom, kick you in him,
- 16:38Speaker 2: goodbye out. Yeah.
- 16:39Speaker 7: I looked at it and it was a blow out
- 16:41Speaker 7: the whole game, and I was like, why did I
- 16:42Speaker 7: not freaking bet that. I believe it was two touchdowns.
- 16:45Speaker 7: It's just stupid that I didn't bet that one. Because
- 16:47Speaker 7: five to seven they killed them. Kansas lost of Texas
- 16:50Speaker 7: forty to fourteen. It was in Austin.
- 16:53Speaker 1: The game was closer for longer, or at least it
- 16:56Speaker 1: was close ish close at half thirteen to seven.
- 16:58Speaker 2: Yeah, for longer than I thought it was going to be.
- 17:00Speaker 2: And I consider jumping on it, but I didn't.
- 17:02Speaker 1: I just can't.
- 17:02Speaker 5: Well.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Found out before the game the quarterback died.
- 17:05Speaker 3: Yeah what happened?
- 17:06Speaker 7: They just said, oh, during warm ups he's not playing. Awesome,
- 17:09Speaker 7: Oh he didn't really die. No, I didn't play.
- 17:11Speaker 2: I was about to say, guys, I don't know anything
- 17:13Speaker 2: about somebody dies, so hey in Texas has another good
- 17:17Speaker 2: running back man. But listen to this though about Texan,
- 17:20Speaker 2: they are what four and oh or five, and I
- 17:23Speaker 2: think they've played against four backup quarterbacks really except for Alabama.
- 17:28Speaker 4: I think they've played all backup quarterbacks. Well, Alabama doesn't
- 17:31Speaker 4: know who their quarterback is, so.
- 17:32Speaker 1: Iowa State, No, I don't know the Platts, Oh Platts say.
- 17:35Speaker 2: I think every quarterback they've played was a backup quarterback
- 17:38Speaker 2: except for that one.
- 17:39Speaker 1: I know at least three of them have been.
- 17:40Speaker 7: Not like started the whole game, but at some point
- 17:42Speaker 7: they got put in, yeah, or the whole game. Yeah,
- 17:45Speaker 7: because in Baylor they played two different quarterbacks. Okay, so
- 17:47Speaker 7: you're right on that. Probably a backup type thing that
- 17:49Speaker 7: Baylor you see.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Oh my gosh. I lost on that one too.
- 17:52Speaker 7: It was the craziest comeback, craziest come back, unbelievable, craziest
- 17:55Speaker 7: come back ever.
- 17:56Speaker 2: Uh, Penn State, Northwestern watching none of that, don't know anybody.
- 18:00Speaker 3: No, it was close at halftime too. I think it
- 18:02Speaker 3: was thirteen or ten, ten or something.
- 18:03Speaker 2: Oh, I saw Northwest was even up early early tide. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yah.
- 18:08Speaker 2: I didn't watch any of it. Washington beats Arizona. It
- 18:11Speaker 2: was a lot closer than I thought it would be.
- 18:12Speaker 3: Mm hmm.
- 18:13Speaker 1: I didn't watch any of it though, just highlights. I
- 18:15Speaker 1: don't count highlights. I didn't watch it.
- 18:16Speaker 2: I watched a lot of the USC Colorado game. That
- 18:18Speaker 2: was great, great game, and I did I bet on
- 18:21Speaker 2: Colorado to cover and I thought it was dead money
- 18:24Speaker 2: about halftime.
- 18:26Speaker 1: But Colorado, man, they just kept firing.
- 18:28Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 18:28Speaker 1: Have they kept it right at the twenty one for you?
- 18:30Speaker 1: Oh forever.
- 18:31Speaker 2: I was like, Oh, we're close, We're close. USC can't
- 18:35Speaker 2: stop anybody. Nope, they could score, but that's what's gonna
- 18:38Speaker 2: keep them from in the National Championship. Ye is, they
- 18:40Speaker 2: can't stop anybody. But it's the same thing Lincoln Ridley
- 18:42Speaker 2: did at Oklahoma. Can't stop anybody.
- 18:46Speaker 1: So score forty eight, that's okay, and just help you out. Yeah.
- 18:49Speaker 3: When they play Oregon Washington.
- 18:51Speaker 1: There's it's just gonna it's one hundred, one hundred. Yeah.
- 18:54Speaker 2: I thought that should Sanders looked really good for the
- 18:57Speaker 2: first time I watched him and thought, oh, some of
- 18:59Speaker 2: the people right, he is really really good.
- 19:01Speaker 1: He completes a lot of his passes.
- 19:03Speaker 2: I remember who he's like tenth grade, like I met
- 19:04Speaker 2: him with Dion Really yeah, yeah, crazy.
- 19:07Speaker 3: You see him as a grown man.
- 19:09Speaker 2: Yeah, that's weird. Crazy, Yeah, it's weird to say that,
- 19:12Speaker 2: really weird. Oregon crushed Stanford. Don't know to watch any
- 19:16Speaker 2: of it.
- 19:17Speaker 3: That was close to At the beginning.
- 19:18Speaker 1: Notre Dame Duke was a good game. Oh, great game.
- 19:21Speaker 3: That was another one with Ohio State and Notre Dame
- 19:23Speaker 3: kind of thing. I was like, I can't tell.
- 19:25Speaker 4: Well, Duke's not a bad football team, and then just
- 19:27Speaker 4: playing and in Duke, it just makes it a lot different.
- 19:30Speaker 2: And also Duke football and they have been better, but
- 19:34Speaker 2: they're still not somebody that you have the understanding there's
- 19:38Speaker 2: consistently gonna be good.
- 19:39Speaker 1: Yeah, so I agree. I don't think Notre Dame.
- 19:41Speaker 5: Is that good.
- 19:42Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know if their defense is that good
- 19:44Speaker 3: and their offense isn't that good or.
- 19:46Speaker 2: The Duke corback got hurts into the game. Oh the
- 19:49Speaker 2: last last, I like the last.
- 19:50Speaker 3: Yeah, I thought Duke was gonna win it.
- 19:52Speaker 1: That sucked.
- 19:53Speaker 5: Uh.
- 19:54Speaker 2: I watched Oregon State in Utah and I just felt
- 19:56Speaker 2: terrible because that's when I was wrong on this. I
- 19:59Speaker 2: bet this one wrong. You talk to do nothing offensively.
- 20:01Speaker 2: They had a third quarterback in at the end of
- 20:03Speaker 2: the game that he couldn't throw.
- 20:04Speaker 1: It was just bad.
- 20:05Speaker 2: Yeah, Utah State looked good and then I mean without
- 20:10Speaker 2: Cam Rising I don't.
- 20:10Speaker 1: Know when is Cam Rising coming back? Make a call, right?
- 20:14Speaker 7: I mean, that team is amazing. Remember them against USC.
- 20:17Speaker 7: That quarterback is really good. They've sucked all year because
- 20:19Speaker 7: he hasn't played.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Their quarterback situation was so bad at the the game
- 20:23Speaker 2: that you talk, even the announcers were like, let's just
- 20:25Speaker 2: hope this game in soon.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Yeah, that game was they said that. Yeah, they felt
- 20:29Speaker 1: that they felt bad for him.
- 20:30Speaker 5: Wow.
- 20:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:31Speaker 2: NFL wise, I think I watched most of these and
- 20:34Speaker 2: it's awesome that Sunday ticket is on YouTube. It's amazing,
- 20:37Speaker 2: the greatest thing ever. It's it's yeah, it's really changing.
- 20:40Speaker 2: Forty nine Ers and Cardinals. The game was closer. The
- 20:43Speaker 2: game was closer than it should have been. Yeah, and
- 20:46Speaker 2: until the end it really wasn't over. But the Cardinals
- 20:49Speaker 2: are fighting every week and I hate it. They they
- 20:51Speaker 2: need to quit. Sound like their owners.
- 20:53Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, I watched some expert and he said, of
- 20:56Speaker 7: all the NFL teams, the Cardinals play the hardest. Whatever
- 20:59Speaker 7: that means. Take that with you when you bet them.
- 21:02Speaker 7: But they didn't cover. McCaffrey scored four times.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Did deebo go leave the game early because he had
- 21:07Speaker 2: almost no stats and I didn't see him in the
- 21:09Speaker 2: game a lot, and he was hurt coming into the game,
- 21:10Speaker 2: but he did play, so I was flipping around. I
- 21:13Speaker 2: thought they m to be over, so I didn't. I
- 21:14Speaker 2: watch like sixty percent of it. Deebo did nothing. He
- 21:18Speaker 2: had to have been hurt. No catches in three runs.
- 21:22Speaker 4: I'm watching ray recap Sunday on Monday is the best
- 21:26Speaker 4: he was.
- 21:27Speaker 1: He didn't watch anything like what happened on his phone today.
- 21:35Speaker 2: He uh was questionable going into the game, so it
- 21:38Speaker 2: was hurt going in, but did play.
- 21:39Speaker 1: But there you go.
- 21:41Speaker 2: He only had three rushes. Jaguars beat the Falcons, which
- 21:45Speaker 2: the Jacks had it early. They had it so much
- 21:48Speaker 2: early they went for a fourth down just like dicking
- 21:50Speaker 2: around in the first half. Yeah, and didn't get it,
- 21:52Speaker 2: and the allowed the Falcons to score and it got
- 21:54Speaker 2: a little itchy for a second, but then the Jags
- 21:56Speaker 2: just pulled it out. But the Jacks stay in London.
- 22:00Speaker 2: Now Buffalo comes out there.
- 22:01Speaker 1: Yeah, so they have two weeks in London. That's crazy.
- 22:03Speaker 3: They play in London or Germany.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Europe. I don't know if it's London again, but it's Europe.
- 22:07Speaker 1: I know it was London. I think I thought it was,
- 22:09Speaker 1: but I'm not going to fight for that.
- 22:10Speaker 2: Maybe it is, yeah, but I mean Trevorlock's play fine.
- 22:15Speaker 2: I had a couple of yards, a couple of touchdowns.
- 22:17Speaker 2: I would love for the Jags to win some games.
- 22:20Speaker 1: No, thank you.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Did you see Ritter that Collins? Yeah, Hollands didn't dap him. Yeah,
- 22:25Speaker 2: and he like stood up me on his face.
- 22:27Speaker 1: Yeah, that's kind of weird.
- 22:29Speaker 5: Weird.
- 22:29Speaker 2: The Bills and Dolphins. The Bills put forty eight on
- 22:31Speaker 2: the Dolphins.
- 22:33Speaker 3: Stuff on Diggs had a day.
- 22:35Speaker 2: I mean, Josh Allen just looked crazy good and you
- 22:39Speaker 2: know that's okay. The Dolphins, that's fine, right, Yeah, it
- 22:45Speaker 2: doesn't mean anything.
- 22:45Speaker 1: No, it really doesn't. He means Buffalo's good again. It
- 22:48Speaker 1: means yeah, it means that. I mean Buffalo's good again.
- 22:50Speaker 3: Yeah, until like three weeks and we said, what's going
- 22:52Speaker 3: on with Josh Allen again?
- 22:53Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean it's just the NFL.
- 22:55Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 22:56Speaker 2: The game that was the craziest to me, speaking of
- 22:58Speaker 2: just NFL, was the freaking Broncos and Bear And no,
- 23:00Speaker 2: the Bears are like twenty eight seven or whatever it was.
- 23:03Speaker 2: I flipped over went a different game twenty fourteen twenty
- 23:06Speaker 2: one right twenty field go thirty They and fields played
- 23:10Speaker 2: his brains out.
- 23:13Speaker 3: Did you see the fourth down? That the fourth and one,
- 23:16Speaker 3: fourth and one shotgun on like the eighteen or something
- 23:18Speaker 3: like that.
- 23:19Speaker 2: Arkansas did that craft two from shotgun trying to get
- 23:21Speaker 2: a one yard one They couldn't get on fourth and
- 23:24Speaker 2: one because they were Okay, let's get in punt formation
- 23:26Speaker 2: and go for it with one yard.
- 23:27Speaker 1: To go, go back ten yards. Oh my god, is
- 23:29Speaker 1: that what you talking about?
- 23:32Speaker 3: No, no, it was. It was like three or four
- 23:35Speaker 3: minutes left and then they called time out. They tried
- 23:36Speaker 3: to get him jump off side, called time out, thought
- 23:38Speaker 3: they were going to kick a field goal, went for it, didn't.
- 23:40Speaker 1: Get it, but then they go for it from shotgun.
- 23:42Speaker 3: Broncos got it. I can't. Yeah, it might have been
- 23:44Speaker 3: because I think it was a zone readon now that
- 23:45Speaker 3: you say that.
- 23:46Speaker 2: Actually, anyway, that game was stupid. I thought the are
- 23:49Speaker 2: the Bears both but Arkansas Moore? But I bet the
- 23:52Speaker 2: Bears and took the points. I thought the Bears would
- 23:54Speaker 2: play better. You bet the toilet Bowl?
- 23:56Speaker 1: I did? Was it on the quad? And there was
- 23:59Speaker 1: one quad?
- 24:00Speaker 5: To me?
- 24:00Speaker 2: I didn't watch quad. I fingered it really interesting. I
- 24:04Speaker 2: fingered it out. I love the Quad like fingers.
- 24:06Speaker 4: Especially when like you're playing Fantasy and three of your
- 24:09Speaker 4: players are in one quad and like this is fantastic.
- 24:12Speaker 7: I love the Quad. But will you admit though, I mean,
- 24:14Speaker 7: you can't watch four games at once.
- 24:16Speaker 1: It's I do. Yeah, I watched the Quad. I must
- 24:18Speaker 1: watch the zone Gennleal.
- 24:19Speaker 4: Well, let me ask you that, like, what what do
- 24:21Speaker 4: you listen to when you're watching the quad?
- 24:23Speaker 2: Whichever game my money's on, where the most impact that
- 24:27Speaker 2: could happen.
- 24:27Speaker 3: Right then interesting takes your interest?
- 24:29Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 24:29Speaker 4: I always pick a quad with red zone and I
- 24:31Speaker 4: leave the audio on red Zone and then watch kind
- 24:33Speaker 4: of the other the other games.
- 24:35Speaker 2: If I pull the quad up, I'm gonna finger one.
- 24:36Speaker 2: I'm pretty soon I'm just knna stick with that one.
- 24:40Speaker 7: Or you got the quad up in my wife? So
- 24:41Speaker 7: you want to play cards, I'm like, yeah, I'll play cards. Well,
- 24:43Speaker 7: I'm not even watching the quad, so I didn't even
- 24:45Speaker 7: watch the quad and I'm paying for the quad. Yeah,
- 24:47Speaker 7: but yeah, I'll play cards, no problem.
- 24:51Speaker 2: Ravens whooped up on the Browns, but Sean Watson didn't.
- 24:54Speaker 4: Play Yeah, last minute decision. That line moved four points
- 24:58Speaker 4: when he when they announced that.
- 25:00Speaker 2: I thought it would move a little more than that too.
- 25:01Speaker 2: I thought it'd be a touchdown move. But it is
- 25:03Speaker 2: a bad, bad situation. Ravens whooped him.
- 25:06Speaker 6: They needed to win.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Titans crush the Bengals. Bengals look terrible. But is Joe
- 25:08Speaker 2: Burrow just hurt? He's not himself?
- 25:10Speaker 7: Is he?
- 25:11Speaker 2: I mean, he just doesn't look right. Is he way
- 25:13Speaker 2: rich or still hurt? You know he did get I
- 25:15Speaker 2: don't believe in the hole. You make a bunch of money,
- 25:17Speaker 2: you relax, You don't know.
- 25:20Speaker 1: Interesting.
- 25:20Speaker 2: He did hurt his calf again, the same one he hurt,
- 25:25Speaker 2: and he pulled up him camp, so I would assume
- 25:28Speaker 2: something's up.
- 25:29Speaker 7: Yeah, just no sustained drives, dude. It was like they
- 25:32Speaker 7: played gross football for having two star receivers.
- 25:35Speaker 3: Did you watch the whole thing?
- 25:36Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 25:36Speaker 3: And then the Titans defense got after him, right.
- 25:39Speaker 7: The Titans, first of all, just had sustained drives. Derrick
- 25:42Speaker 7: Henry did whatever he wanted to wild.
- 25:45Speaker 2: Derreck Henry had some highlights of him just running through guys, bouncing,
- 25:49Speaker 2: guys just bouncing off of him, like Derrick Henry of old.
- 25:51Speaker 2: How do you feel about Tannehill. I only watched part
- 25:53Speaker 2: of that game because it got out of hand. Do
- 25:55Speaker 2: you feel like Tannehill is well.
- 25:57Speaker 1: You're always gonna get an interception with him? Is he improving? Yeah? Yeah,
- 26:00Speaker 1: I would say, I mean, or is.
- 26:01Speaker 7: He already had a ceiling and anybody else just tested? Well,
- 26:04Speaker 7: let's see how how much do we trust our quarterback.
- 26:06Speaker 7: We gave it to Dereck Henry and said, hey, throw
- 26:08Speaker 7: the ball, wildcat into the end zone.
- 26:11Speaker 1: You do this?
- 26:11Speaker 2: Why have a quarterback? The Rams and the Colts, that
- 26:15Speaker 2: game was pretty wild. Yeah, over time, there's another Toilet
- 26:17Speaker 2: Bowl game. But Colts should have won the game. Richardon
- 26:21Speaker 2: played good. Yeah, but he's a stud, doesn't really have
- 26:25Speaker 2: the weapons, and I don't know. The Rams still score
- 26:31Speaker 2: a bunch of points. Nobody expected them to win. Nukah
- 26:33Speaker 2: or Luca Okay, Yeah, that overtime touchdown, Yeah, that was awesome. Yeah,
- 26:40Speaker 2: and then the Buccaneers went again. They beat the Saints.
- 26:42Speaker 2: Look at that the boy Baker doing it. It's the
- 26:44Speaker 2: Saints first loss, I believe right, No, I think they're
- 26:46Speaker 2: two and two?
- 26:47Speaker 1: Are they and two?
- 26:48Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 26:48Speaker 1: Bucks are three and one. Let's go.
- 26:50Speaker 7: I told you guys, because why why did you tell
- 26:53Speaker 7: us Baker Baker.
- 26:54Speaker 1: He's a big Baker fan, big Baker guy. I believe
- 26:57Speaker 1: in him. I believe it called bigger. I mean he'd
- 27:00Speaker 1: does to throw the ball up and Mike Evans just
- 27:01Speaker 1: catches it.
- 27:02Speaker 7: No, no, not yesterday, Mike Kevins had three catches for
- 27:06Speaker 7: forty yards.
- 27:07Speaker 1: Absolutely. Oh he got hurt.
- 27:09Speaker 3: I got hurt.
- 27:10Speaker 1: That explains it.
- 27:10Speaker 3: Yeah, that's why there was no fight screen him in.
- 27:13Speaker 6: You had a lot of I.
- 27:15Speaker 7: Made a blockbuster trade, got Mike Mike Evans and traded
- 27:19Speaker 7: away DeAndre Swift DeAndre Swift and it'll be fine because
- 27:24Speaker 7: it was also the Pooka not Pooka to to two
- 27:30Speaker 7: is in on the trade. He sucked and is not
- 27:32Speaker 7: gonna do anymore once Cooper's bad. I don't think Cooper's
- 27:35Speaker 7: Cooper and Nuka. It's all like you could have Pooka
- 27:39Speaker 7: to to and number Cooper. But I don't know even
- 27:43Speaker 7: if Cooper comes back, and it's not gonna be soon.
- 27:46Speaker 1: I believe it's two or three weeks. That stuff, the hamstring.
- 27:49Speaker 3: Stuff is not you know they're gonna ease that.
- 27:50Speaker 7: They have to well they said on the screen it
- 27:52Speaker 7: said he gets to practice and that opens up the
- 27:54Speaker 7: three week window.
- 27:55Speaker 1: What Oh, that's not what they said.
- 27:58Speaker 2: That's what it's said on the bottom line. Promise that
- 28:01Speaker 2: Eagles won barely. Yeah, oh man, what a game.
- 28:04Speaker 1: Still undefeated them in the forty nine Ers. Ye, what
- 28:07Speaker 1: a game. I was pulling for the Commanders. Oh, I
- 28:09Speaker 1: was too, for sure.
- 28:11Speaker 2: Hey, I listen, say what you want.
- 28:14Speaker 1: I think the Commanders have a good quarterback.
- 28:16Speaker 2: Yeah, dude, that was awesome. I think I think he
- 28:18Speaker 2: was looking pretty solid.
- 28:20Speaker 3: Isn't he similar though, to who they had in the
- 28:23Speaker 3: last couple of years, like the backup guy that just
- 28:24Speaker 3: plays his butt off Heinikey.
- 28:27Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, Heineke's.
- 28:29Speaker 2: A little more of a gun slinger as in no
- 28:35Speaker 2: regard Chunk Brett. But I agree, I do see it.
- 28:38Speaker 3: So they just play like, I don't know, you just
- 28:39Speaker 3: want to play for him.
- 28:40Speaker 2: Vikings Panthers, nobody cares boarding game. Texans whooped the Steelers.
- 28:45Speaker 2: I means is pretty freaking good, dude. I mean, he's
- 28:47Speaker 2: gonna win Rookie of the Year over Bijon. God dang
- 28:50Speaker 2: third neck and neck right now. He charges beat the Raiders.
- 28:53Speaker 2: They almost blew it at the end, which was stupid.
- 28:55Speaker 2: The Cowboys beat the Patriots.
- 28:56Speaker 1: So there you go.
- 28:58Speaker 2: That's kind of the recap of the week. Let's go
- 29:05Speaker 2: now and do the tittle tattle, name ever the tittle tattle.
- 29:16Speaker 3: Do you think LSU fans are upset with Brian Kelly
- 29:18Speaker 3: already after two losses.
- 29:20Speaker 2: I think they thought they're gonna win the national championship.
- 29:21Speaker 2: But I think they thought that every year period in
- 29:24Speaker 2: the history of the world, they ran off at oseron
- 29:28Speaker 2: after he won a championship. No, it's too early. I
- 29:34Speaker 2: think if they lose a third game, they start to
- 29:35Speaker 2: get irritated more. This is his second year. If they
- 29:40Speaker 2: go to a big Bowl game, that's a win. Would
- 29:44Speaker 2: it have been extra sugar on top sprinkles? If they
- 29:47Speaker 2: go to the playoff, yes, finish top ten, that's a
- 29:51Speaker 2: win for LSU this year. If you were to win
- 29:56Speaker 2: the championship, that's awesome. Maybe next year your expecttions are
- 29:58Speaker 2: a little higher. But this is only the second year.
- 30:00Speaker 2: It's a long a second, but they are. LSU fans
- 30:02Speaker 2: have unrealistic expectations because they've been they've been allowed to
- 30:06Speaker 2: have them. Alabama fans have unrealistic expectations because they've been
- 30:10Speaker 2: allowed to have them. They've been conditioned to go, we
- 30:11Speaker 2: win all the time, so you just feel like you're
- 30:13Speaker 2: supposed to win all the time, even though you're not
- 30:15Speaker 2: supposed to win all the time, even if you win.
- 30:16Speaker 1: All the time.
- 30:17Speaker 2: So I get it. And LSU's gonna play Missouri. They'll
- 30:21Speaker 2: wop Missouri. I know Missouri is undefeat the Missouri hasn't
- 30:23Speaker 2: played anybody. I mean, they beat Kansas State on the field,
- 30:25Speaker 2: goalt the end. That's the only game really that they
- 30:27Speaker 2: I feel like they've played halfway decent.
- 30:30Speaker 1: Auburn. I mean, Auburn's fine.
- 30:35Speaker 2: They played Georgia, but then they haven't really beat anybody.
- 30:38Speaker 2: But they didn't beat Georgia, but they did play them good.
- 30:40Speaker 2: Do you get moral credit for that? And then they're
- 30:42Speaker 2: gonna play Army. They'll they'll run them out. But the
- 30:46Speaker 2: SEC's weird. Man, if they were to lose one of
- 30:48Speaker 2: the two games, I'm not even saying they're they should
- 30:50Speaker 2: win both of those games. But if they were to
- 30:52Speaker 2: lose one of the two, I wouldn't be that surprised.
- 30:55Speaker 2: But I'm gonna say LSU fans, chill out. You lose
- 30:57Speaker 2: two games the whole year, that's a really good year.
- 31:00Speaker 4: Hey, explain the bowl goal for me, Like, so, if
- 31:04Speaker 4: you don't go to the National Championship, your goal is
- 31:06Speaker 4: to just make a bowl game.
- 31:07Speaker 2: Not that bowl game because anybody that's five hundred or
- 31:09Speaker 2: better or sometimes worse that there are not enough teams,
- 31:11Speaker 2: right makes a bowl. But there are New Year's Day
- 31:13Speaker 2: Bowls and Beyond and those that's kind of the big bulls.
- 31:16Speaker 5: Got it?
- 31:16Speaker 1: If not the pable, No.
- 31:18Speaker 2: You don't want to play December twenty six, that's what
- 31:21Speaker 2: you want to play New Year's Day or Beyond, got it?
- 31:25Speaker 1: And some of those more prestigious bowls.
- 31:27Speaker 4: So yeah, I did, because I've heard coaches say that,
- 31:30Speaker 4: and I'm like, but coach, like, there are a lot
- 31:32Speaker 4: of bulls the toilet flush Bowl.
- 31:33Speaker 2: Well, they're not saying it any Yeah, Okay, I hear yet.
- 31:36Speaker 2: But even we talked to Sam Pittman, who's the Arkansas coach,
- 31:39Speaker 2: which we'll play a little later on. He was like,
- 31:41Speaker 2: Florida Bowl is our goal. That's that's what that's the goal.
- 31:44Speaker 2: And that's a New Year's Bowl.
- 31:46Speaker 1: Yeah, it's all. It's not the National Championship Bowl.
- 31:48Speaker 2: But he said I think if no, I think his
- 31:49Speaker 2: answer was, it's not a successful season unless we're in
- 31:52Speaker 2: that that wasn't the goal, but it's like, that's that's
- 31:54Speaker 2: where we should be, got it. So yeah, just it's
- 31:57Speaker 2: a tier there of bowls. All right, next question, all.
- 31:59Speaker 3: Right, what do you thing is going to happen?
- 32:00Speaker 1: First?
- 32:01Speaker 3: The Kelsey and t Swift breakup where an NFL coach
- 32:04Speaker 3: gets fired.
- 32:05Speaker 1: Maybe the greatest question in the history of twenty five whistles. Yeah, yeah,
- 32:08Speaker 1: I agree, So let's talk about Travis Kelsey and Taylor Swift.
- 32:11Speaker 2: I feel like if they just stop dating right now,
- 32:13Speaker 2: they both look pretty dumb because they're both kind of
- 32:15Speaker 2: allowing it all to happen. They're both not dating, but
- 32:19Speaker 2: they're both in on whatever this is. If they are,
- 32:22Speaker 2: or even if it's straight, they're both in on it.
- 32:23Speaker 2: They're on their screw and they're talking about it and
- 32:25Speaker 2: she's showing up to games. So I feel like if
- 32:27Speaker 2: they just came out in a week and said we're
- 32:29Speaker 2: not dating anymore, that'd be a bit quick. Even if
- 32:32Speaker 2: they weren't dating anymore, you still give it some time
- 32:34Speaker 2: to simmer down. So I'm gonna say, man, ebra Flus
- 32:39Speaker 2: or McDaniels both could go any moment that.
- 32:43Speaker 1: The Bear's losing that game. Yeah, it was wild.
- 32:46Speaker 2: Justin Fields finally plays the game of his life, got
- 32:48Speaker 2: like two hundred and eighty yards and a half.
- 32:50Speaker 1: They lose, they lose.
- 32:53Speaker 2: So I mean, how crazy would it be if the
- 32:54Speaker 2: Bears got the first and second picks next year and
- 32:57Speaker 2: they got Caleb Williams and Lincoln Riley comes and coaches
- 33:01Speaker 2: the Bearers?
- 33:02Speaker 1: O that coul happen? Yeah, I mean they obviously they
- 33:05Speaker 1: picked Harrison too. Yeah, but I'd be crazy.
- 33:08Speaker 2: I'm gonna go ebra flu to McDaniels. I don't know
- 33:11Speaker 2: if if that the super Chargers almost blew that game,
- 33:13Speaker 2: Staley's he won, so you went, you win a game
- 33:16Speaker 2: in the NFL, good for you. You don't really look
- 33:18Speaker 2: at But he's just done so many dumb things. But
- 33:21Speaker 2: I'm gonna go eber Flus or McDaniels probably gets fired
- 33:24Speaker 2: before they break up, really, I think so.
- 33:26Speaker 4: And it's just funding for me to say, no, I
- 33:28Speaker 4: see what you're saying now after thinking about it. Yeah,
- 33:30Speaker 4: there's too much money involved in the Kelsey Taylor things.
- 33:33Speaker 4: So yeah, I'd say that lasts longer than the coaches.
- 33:37Speaker 2: I just think that lasts another three to four weeks
- 33:39Speaker 2: and I don't think both the coaches last three to
- 33:41Speaker 2: four weeks.
- 33:41Speaker 4: I mean, the NFL can't how much money for the
- 33:43Speaker 4: Travis Kelsey Taylor Swift thing.
- 33:44Speaker 1: I don't. I don't know they paid anything.
- 33:47Speaker 5: A lot?
- 33:48Speaker 1: Yes, all right? What else?
- 33:49Speaker 3: Which Ricky QB performance as surprise you more? The success
- 33:53Speaker 3: of c J. Stroud and Anthony Richardson were struggles of
- 33:56Speaker 3: Bryce Young.
- 33:57Speaker 2: Bryce Young was going to struggle. He doesn't have an
- 33:59Speaker 2: offensive line, has no weapons, and he's little. Bryce Young
- 34:02Speaker 2: doesn't have a number one receiver. He doesn't have a
- 34:05Speaker 2: number one receiver. He doesn't have me to protect him.
- 34:08Speaker 2: So I'm not that surprised. It is not a good
- 34:10Speaker 2: team that should happen. The only reason it's amplified is
- 34:14Speaker 2: because CG.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Strut's killing it. He's playing on a Houston team. What
- 34:17Speaker 1: are they doing that.
- 34:20Speaker 2: They do have a they do have a running back,
- 34:22Speaker 2: Damian Pierce is really good. Their offensive line is pretty
- 34:27Speaker 2: it's pretty okay, it's definitely better than the Panthers offensive line.
- 34:31Speaker 2: Anthony Richardson's just dynamic as crap. It's not even They've
- 34:34Speaker 2: wont a bunch of games. What are the Colts two
- 34:37Speaker 2: and two? So you know, it's not what's when he
- 34:41Speaker 2: missed one game, one and a half games. Basically, what
- 34:43Speaker 2: are the Texans two and two crazy? The Texans with
- 34:45Speaker 2: two and two unbelievable. I'm still gonna say the success
- 34:49Speaker 2: of c J. Stroud to me is the most surprising,
- 34:52Speaker 2: just because I believed every supposed expert that was like,
- 34:55Speaker 2: he's an Ohio State bucket quarterback, he looks awesome. And
- 35:00Speaker 2: when I really don't know, I just listen to people
- 35:01Speaker 2: that I trust, and all the people that I trust
- 35:03Speaker 2: told me c J.
- 35:04Speaker 1: Strout was gonna be a bum and that Bryce Young was.
- 35:07Speaker 2: I still believe in Bryce Young, I do, and I
- 35:09Speaker 2: don't think the height things much of a factor.
- 35:11Speaker 4: We have other quarterbacks that were named Russell, named Drew
- 35:17Speaker 4: m m hm, So I get that. But you got
- 35:20Speaker 4: to have a good O line or else. That's all dies.
- 35:22Speaker 2: Oh, so I'm gonna go see J. Stroud to me
- 35:25Speaker 2: is the most surprising of all of it.
- 35:26Speaker 3: Okay, last one here at one and three and the
- 35:28Speaker 3: offense really struggling. Do you think the Bengals regret bringing
- 35:31Speaker 3: back Joe Burrow to start the season.
- 35:33Speaker 1: Probably now.
- 35:35Speaker 2: I think if you're able to go back and do hindsight,
- 35:37Speaker 2: maybe you let him get fully healthy because he probably
- 35:41Speaker 2: wasn't one hundred percent. He's probably healthy enough that you
- 35:44Speaker 2: want to start him if it's a playoff game or
- 35:46Speaker 2: a game that really mattered. But I think now, because oh,
- 35:49Speaker 2: it's been bad to the Bengals and it's not like
- 35:51Speaker 2: he's gotten any better because he's been playing. You know,
- 35:54Speaker 2: you get your time during the week, but then it's
- 35:56Speaker 2: right back you're vulnerable again. So probably if you're gonna
- 36:00Speaker 2: lose games, which they have, you'd rather lose them with
- 36:03Speaker 2: your quarterbay getting healthier than having them play. So hindsight, yes,
- 36:08Speaker 2: but I'm not gonna hate him out have started him too.
- 36:10Speaker 4: I hear a lot of announcers saying like, oh, the
- 36:12Speaker 4: calf injury is one thing, but there's got to be
- 36:14Speaker 4: something else going on, Like what could possibly be going
- 36:16Speaker 4: on more than that, like personally what he.
- 36:19Speaker 2: Got engaged right or that was the big rumor too,
- 36:23Speaker 2: And also but the thing he made all he signed
- 36:25Speaker 2: a contract for all the money, so there's a lot.
- 36:28Speaker 2: I don't know what they're insinuating. Just feel like, what
- 36:30Speaker 2: are you talking about? Yeah, I don't think that that's
- 36:34Speaker 2: Everyone's like you get paid all of a sudden, you
- 36:35Speaker 2: don't want to play.
- 36:36Speaker 1: That's not hard too, right, Bo's gonna eye the Tiger.
- 36:39Speaker 1: He's hurt.
- 36:40Speaker 2: The Bengals I think will be fine. They'll end up
- 36:42Speaker 2: going to the Bahama Bowl. Leddy like, yeah, watch it.
- 36:47Speaker 2: He'll be like, let's go, all right. That's tittle tattle,
- 36:52Speaker 2: the tittle tattle, all right.
- 36:58Speaker 1: Thank you.

- 37:06Speaker 2: Another parlay loss. I didn't want to go over the
- 37:09Speaker 2: loss last week, but I'm the Utah game, you know,
- 37:13Speaker 2: wasn't my best work.
- 37:14Speaker 1: I thought they'd score a little more than that. Though
- 37:15Speaker 1: they'd be a little better than that.
- 37:16Speaker 7: But it's not fair, I believe probably when you said
- 37:18Speaker 7: the line we thought the quarterback was playing that he
- 37:20Speaker 7: didn't play.
- 37:21Speaker 2: I thought it would at least be open because he
- 37:24Speaker 2: was going through warm ups last week.
- 37:26Speaker 1: So whatever, we'll get him this week.
- 37:29Speaker 2: If you want to take the twenty five Whistles parlay,

- 37:50Speaker 2: I'm gonna play this interview with Eddie and I and
- 37:53Speaker 2: coach Sam Pittman of the Arkansas Razorbacks. It is not
- 37:57Speaker 2: a great time right now to be a Razor, but
- 38:00Speaker 2: there have been much worse times. And there's adversity and
- 38:03Speaker 2: you just look at versity in the face, spit in it,
- 38:07Speaker 2: and you win the next ball game. Yeah, but it's
- 38:10Speaker 2: a little toxic right now online.
- 38:13Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 38:13Speaker 2: Yeah, we should have be BYU. That game was set
- 38:16Speaker 2: up for us to win. We should have bet LSU.
- 38:18Speaker 2: We had first and goal on the one and somebody
- 38:20Speaker 2: jumped off a false start. It's been a bad stitch,
- 38:23Speaker 2: to be honest with you. But I'm big Pittman guy,
- 38:27Speaker 2: love him. I think we're gonna turn this thing around.
- 38:30Speaker 2: We got four I think top seventy five recruits coming in.
- 38:32Speaker 2: We play on the team like. So that being said,
- 38:37Speaker 2: I am still a big believer. I love coach Pittman,
- 38:40Speaker 2: and here he is. This is us with coach Sam Pittman.
- 38:42Speaker 6: Coach, how are you no?
- 38:43Speaker 5: Good man? It's good to see you.
- 38:44Speaker 6: Good to see you too. It's my setup question before
- 38:47Speaker 6: I go right to it. How's it going?
- 38:49Speaker 2: Yeh?
- 38:49Speaker 5: Is it true?
- 38:51Speaker 2: It's when we talk to you here now it's about
- 38:53Speaker 2: to be week two, second non conference game in a row.
- 38:58Speaker 6: Is there like a game a is we showed.
- 39:03Speaker 2: This much of our playbook and if we're good with it,
- 39:05Speaker 2: then we can go to the Is there like a
- 39:07Speaker 2: limit that you kind of have to hit before you
- 39:09Speaker 2: graduate to the next level early in the season.
- 39:12Speaker 5: Not really this year. I mean, because Dan's new and
- 39:15Speaker 5: te wheels new. We basically just went into game planning
- 39:21Speaker 5: like we normally would, running plays that we felt like
- 39:24Speaker 5: we'ld have success, ones that we could do, you know,
- 39:28Speaker 5: more importantly than even the success of them that we
- 39:31Speaker 5: could do correct didn't have a lot of mistakes and things.
- 39:34Speaker 5: So now, I mean, you're obviously going to put a
- 39:38Speaker 5: few more plays in as the season progresses. You obviously
- 39:42Speaker 5: want to save something a little bit for the SEC games.
- 39:45Speaker 5: But we have to win as we continue to grow
- 39:48Speaker 5: and get better, So not a whole lot of holding back.
- 39:52Speaker 2: Do you have one crazy trick play that you've always
- 39:54Speaker 2: wanted to do but it's never been the exact right
- 39:56Speaker 2: moment for it, But you're just like, if it's ever
- 39:57Speaker 2: presented perfectly, we're going to run the backwards under scooter volley.
- 40:01Speaker 5: There's been many games that you're going just give us it,
- 40:05Speaker 5: give us it, and then you might even call it
- 40:07Speaker 5: and the look's not there, and then everybody's bombed out,
- 40:10Speaker 5: you know, and and but uh, yeah, I mean, I
- 40:14Speaker 5: don't know if we've ever want ran one. You know,
- 40:16Speaker 5: we've run double passes and things of that nature. But
- 40:19Speaker 5: they better work. Man. If they don't work, you catch
- 40:21Speaker 5: so much. Heck, you know if they don't work. But uh,
- 40:24Speaker 5: it's all about timing too, you knowing those things, and
- 40:28Speaker 5: we've we tried a few in the last three years
- 40:30Speaker 5: just then quite work like we wanted them to.
- 40:33Speaker 2: How much freedom does a kicker or a punter have,
- 40:35Speaker 2: either on kickoff or they're punting, to actually make that
- 40:39Speaker 2: decision if they see there's not a guy guarding the gun, Like,
- 40:43Speaker 2: how can they actually call, Hey, I'm gonna snap it,
- 40:45Speaker 2: I'm gonna throw it now.
- 40:50Speaker 5: Now we will have we will have fake punts on
- 40:54Speaker 5: the front end of it and then we'll call it off,
- 40:56Speaker 5: or we'll have on side kicks or you know, something
- 41:00Speaker 5: something in the middle or something like that that we'll
- 41:03Speaker 5: call it off. But no, they I mean, they're both
- 41:07Speaker 5: pretty good athletes. But we haven't we haven't got to
- 41:09Speaker 5: there yet.
- 41:10Speaker 2: But what if one say, Camu calls one and it
- 41:12Speaker 2: worked better and it right and it works.
- 41:15Speaker 6: And you what, you didn't call it, nobody knew it.
- 41:18Speaker 6: But he's like, all right, I feel it. He calls
- 41:20Speaker 6: it on the line and it works. Are you upset
- 41:23Speaker 6: at him if it works?
- 41:25Speaker 5: Yes? But but but in the media will probably take
- 41:28Speaker 5: credit for it, like, yeah, it was a great call
- 41:31Speaker 5: and Scott made it, no, or I made it, you know.
- 41:33Speaker 5: But now, oh, if it worked, you know, and it
- 41:40Speaker 5: helped us win, you know it, we'd forgive him.
- 41:43Speaker 6: You still have a little talk absolutely.
- 41:45Speaker 4: Coach locker room speeches. Do you go in there like
- 41:48Speaker 4: knowing what you're gonna say or is it just top
- 41:50Speaker 4: of the dome?
- 41:52Speaker 6: Like how do you do that?
- 41:52Speaker 4: Because I feel like the first one big pregame you
- 41:55Speaker 4: kind of have the week to think about what you're
- 41:57Speaker 4: gonna tell your boys, But do you kind of just
- 42:00Speaker 4: go on the.
- 42:00Speaker 5: Fly before the game. It's usually something that you've tried
- 42:06Speaker 5: to put in their heads all week. But I go,
- 42:09Speaker 5: I have like BBC or SAT or whatever it may be,
- 42:15Speaker 5: in that order of how I'm going to say my
- 42:17Speaker 5: three things that I'm going to say, and I usually
- 42:21Speaker 5: get that locked in whenever we get through with the hogwalk.
- 42:25Speaker 5: We get through the hogwalk and I go, Okay, how
- 42:27Speaker 5: do I want to I kind of know what I
- 42:29Speaker 5: want to say, but then I put it in order,
- 42:31Speaker 5: and then then just the S stands for whatever. And
- 42:35Speaker 5: you know, last week started for playing smart, you know,
- 42:40Speaker 5: first game and all those type things. So I do
- 42:43Speaker 5: have something going into the motion you have to put in.
- 42:46Speaker 5: So it's hard. A lot of times when I first
- 42:48Speaker 5: got here, it was just whatever I'm going to say,
- 42:51Speaker 5: you know, but that's more of a motivational deal at
- 42:56Speaker 5: that and then at half it's kind of like, all right,
- 42:59Speaker 5: we're talking right now, right, here's what we have to do.
- 43:03Speaker 5: You know, don't panic. The world's not coming to an
- 43:05Speaker 5: end or we're way ahead. Let's go out and play.
- 43:09Speaker 5: You're playing against yourself, not necessarily the scoreboard, things of
- 43:13Speaker 5: that nature.
- 43:14Speaker 2: Do you ever feel though that maybe you've actually repeated
- 43:17Speaker 2: yourself if you're like doing a motivation because you can
- 43:19Speaker 2: only use one every four years, like safely maybe five
- 43:22Speaker 2: COVID six, You know, you only is that one motivational
- 43:24Speaker 2: nugget specifically, you.
- 43:26Speaker 5: Know, when I was at Northern Illinois, Joe Novak did
- 43:32Speaker 5: the greatest thing I'd ever seen in pregame. And he
- 43:35Speaker 5: had these two police officers standing over there and he
- 43:39Speaker 5: asked them, I forget the school we were playing, the
- 43:41Speaker 5: university we were playing. He said, Hey, is all their
- 43:44Speaker 5: fans in here as a team in here? He's asking
- 43:46Speaker 5: these police officer and he brought out the biggest chain
- 43:52Speaker 5: and he goes, go lock the gates. We're gonna lock
- 43:54Speaker 5: him in here and we'll let him out when we're
- 43:56Speaker 5: through with them. And I thought that was the greatest
- 43:58Speaker 5: thing ever. Well, two years ago, we're playing Texas and
- 44:02Speaker 5: I just kept talking to the team, We're gonna lock
- 44:04Speaker 5: the gates on them. We're gonna get them in here.
- 44:06Speaker 5: We're gonna lock them in here, and we'll let them
- 44:08Speaker 5: out when we get done. I just kept talking about it. Thursday,
- 44:11Speaker 5: I talked about it. We're gonna lock them in here,
- 44:13Speaker 5: you know. And well, so I called Joe and I said, coach,
- 44:19Speaker 5: you don't mind if I use this lock the gate,
- 44:22Speaker 5: they'll do you. And he said, oh no, I stole
- 44:24Speaker 5: it from Bill Mallory when we coach together in Indiana.
- 44:27Speaker 5: And so I'm getting ready to hang up, and he goes,
- 44:29Speaker 5: but Sam, it's undefeated, so if you're going to use it,
- 44:34Speaker 5: you better win. I'll never forget that. And I'm like, oh,
- 44:36Speaker 5: my lord, and I thought, well, we got a good
- 44:38Speaker 5: chance to win. So we used it. The team went
- 44:41Speaker 5: off and it was a lot of fun and we won.
- 44:44Speaker 2: And that game I waited in traffic. My wife is here,
- 44:46Speaker 2: two weird in traffic for three hours. Yeah, because we
- 44:49Speaker 2: to me, I hate Texas and I hate them because
- 44:52Speaker 2: they're legit and when you grow up in Arkansas, they're
- 44:55Speaker 2: the big brother. And you know, I caught the back
- 44:58Speaker 2: end of the Southwest Conference days, but I I hate
- 45:00Speaker 2: Texas respectfully. So when they came to town, I lived
- 45:04Speaker 2: in Ostober twelve years. So when they came to town,
- 45:08Speaker 2: I mean I was foaming at the mouth for that.
- 45:10Speaker 2: And so you wouldn't let me in the game. So
- 45:11Speaker 2: I set up on the suite and we could have
- 45:15Speaker 2: left because it's kind of hard to get out of here,
- 45:17Speaker 2: and I was like, no, I want to stay on.
- 45:18Speaker 2: We get everybody storm on the field. I was freaking
- 45:20Speaker 2: loving it, and then we're like, okay, let's get out here.
- 45:22Speaker 2: We sat in traffic for three hours. They almost wouldn't
- 45:26Speaker 2: let us flex we flew home privately, and so they
- 45:31Speaker 2: almost they almost duft the plane down because it took
- 45:32Speaker 2: us three hours to get there.
- 45:33Speaker 6: They're like, we can't take you home. Oh, it's a
- 45:35Speaker 6: real sad story. Guess please feel somethry for me.
- 45:38Speaker 1: Everyone sorry for you now.
- 45:39Speaker 2: But also the Texas team was on the on the
- 45:41Speaker 2: They had chartered like a Southwest Fighter Delta flight behind us,
- 45:44Speaker 2: and they were getting on the plane behind us, were
- 45:46Speaker 2: waving out to the window. It's pretty awesome that Texas
- 45:49Speaker 2: game had.
- 45:49Speaker 5: To feel special, Yeah, I did, you know, it kind
- 45:51Speaker 5: of validated. You know, we had beaten Ole Miss in
- 45:54Speaker 5: Mississippi State and Tennessee the year before, and then coming in.
- 45:59Speaker 5: I forget first game was Rice. I think we didn't play,
- 46:02Speaker 5: you know, especially well. I think we won big at
- 46:05Speaker 5: the end, but we didn't play well. And Texas was
- 46:08Speaker 5: Week two and our offensive line, our offense played extremely well,
- 46:13Speaker 5: defense played well, and the atmosphere was what college football
- 46:17Speaker 5: is supposed to be. And it was Yeah. I mean
- 46:21Speaker 5: I think that validated a little bit of our program.
- 46:26Speaker 5: I think maybe even validated me somewhat.
- 46:29Speaker 6: Yeah, I wasn't sold until the Yeah.
- 46:31Speaker 2: So can you feel because you try to be as
- 46:36Speaker 2: much of the people as any coach that I know,
- 46:38Speaker 2: But can you feel the teams that we just that
- 46:42Speaker 2: the fans just absolutely want to beat more than the
- 46:45Speaker 2: other teams.
- 46:45Speaker 5: You can feel it? Yeah, I mean you really can
- 46:47Speaker 5: You feel it in the hogwalk? You can. You can
- 46:50Speaker 5: feel it pre game. The more people in the stands
- 46:54Speaker 5: pre game, the more excited excited the fans are. I mean,
- 46:58Speaker 5: I know, tailgating is a big deal. The hell when
- 47:01Speaker 5: I retire, I'm going to be out there too, you know.
- 47:03Speaker 5: But you can feel all you sure can. The kids can,
- 47:07Speaker 5: uh the size of the hogwalk, you can feel that too,
- 47:12Speaker 5: and so and a lot of times you're really humbling
- 47:15Speaker 5: because you go out there and there yell them you
- 47:17Speaker 5: know my name or whatever, like I'm going to play
- 47:19Speaker 5: I'm not playing, you know, but very humbling too.
- 47:23Speaker 2: At the same time, do you ever go to the
- 47:24Speaker 2: grocery store alone? Uh no, because you don't like the
- 47:30Speaker 2: grocery shop, or because you can't.
- 47:32Speaker 5: Well, I like to eat, I don't necessarily like the
- 47:34Speaker 5: grocery shop, but no I can't. I mean I can go,
- 47:38Speaker 5: I go wherever I want to, but uh, it's not
- 47:43Speaker 5: easy to get out, you know what I mean. It's
- 47:45Speaker 5: a lot of a lot of folks.
- 47:47Speaker 6: I mean, this is a state, this is a town
- 47:51Speaker 6: that we love. It's what we have.
- 47:53Speaker 2: Yeah, because you know, because we don't have a lot
- 47:55Speaker 2: as far as we don't have a population to have
- 47:57Speaker 2: any professional team, like we have the Razor and you know,
- 48:00Speaker 2: you had the keys to our house that we love.
- 48:03Speaker 6: And you know, you're you're the guy.
- 48:05Speaker 2: And I can't imagine how popular and how famous you
- 48:08Speaker 2: are to people walking around because you're the guy that
- 48:10Speaker 2: we all look to to get us, you know, nine
- 48:12Speaker 2: ten eleven wins.
- 48:13Speaker 5: Well, I understand that too, I do. And none of
- 48:15Speaker 5: it's a burden, No, no, no, I'd rather be doing
- 48:19Speaker 5: what I'm doing than anything else in the world, and
- 48:21Speaker 5: very honored to be looked at that way. But it is,
- 48:26Speaker 5: you know, I can remember Bobby when Hunter came to
- 48:30Speaker 5: the house and one of the last questions he asked
- 48:33Speaker 5: me was can you handle being the head coach at
- 48:36Speaker 5: Arkansas with the public? And I was like, I don't
- 48:41Speaker 5: know what you mean, you know, and I didn't you know,
- 48:43Speaker 5: And of course the answer was, oh, hell yeah, I
- 48:45Speaker 5: can do you know, you know whatever. But you can't
- 48:48Speaker 5: be prepared for being the head coach at Arkansas until
- 48:52Speaker 5: you're doing it, because it is. It's a different deal
- 48:56Speaker 5: and I enjoy every bit of there, and not all
- 48:59Speaker 5: of it, you know, me most of it. But that
- 49:02Speaker 5: was a question he asked because he understood more than
- 49:05Speaker 5: I did.
- 49:06Speaker 2: This job is obviously football, but it's so much public
- 49:09Speaker 2: relations as well. And so with you being the CEO
- 49:13Speaker 2: of this company, in the face of this company that
- 49:15Speaker 2: is Arkansas Football, there are a lot of things that
- 49:17Speaker 2: people probably don't realize you have to do.
- 49:19Speaker 6: And it's it's politics in a way.
- 49:21Speaker 2: And I consider running for the governor of Arkansas for
- 49:22Speaker 2: a bit, but then they were like, oh you do
- 49:23Speaker 2: is get on the phone ask peple for money the
- 49:25Speaker 2: whole time. That's all like, you do what you do,
- 49:27Speaker 2: but really it's a lot of funding things and so
- 49:32Speaker 2: that's got to be a big part about what you
- 49:33Speaker 2: do as well, right, is making sure that people in
- 49:35Speaker 2: full disclosure, I'm a donor of the program, but making
- 49:37Speaker 2: sure people feel involved and feel like there's some optimism
- 49:42Speaker 2: about the program.
- 49:43Speaker 5: Yeah, I think it's about access, you know, or am
- 49:48Speaker 5: I willing to go do this, this and this and
- 49:53Speaker 5: show gratitude and things for people who are donors. You know,
- 49:58Speaker 5: there's a lot that goes on on each and every day,
- 50:01Speaker 5: a lot like today. There's been so many different things
- 50:04Speaker 5: that go on. Some of it has to do internally,
- 50:06Speaker 5: some of it has to do with nil, some of
- 50:09Speaker 5: it has to do with what's going on on the portal,
- 50:11Speaker 5: all those type things. There's always something. I'm not really
- 50:15Speaker 5: good at much, but I am a good problem solver
- 50:18Speaker 5: because nothing really takes me up here and nothing really
- 50:21Speaker 5: takes me down here. But I do want to solve
- 50:24Speaker 5: it as fast as I can. But as far as
- 50:27Speaker 5: the donors, we've got plenty of wealthy people in the state,
- 50:32Speaker 5: but they're not going to give It's just like a teacher,
- 50:35Speaker 5: she's not going to want you to give you a
- 50:38Speaker 5: good grade if she doesn't know who you are. And
- 50:40Speaker 5: it's the same thing with donors. They want to know
- 50:44Speaker 5: who you are. They see who you are on TV,
- 50:47Speaker 5: but they want to sit down and have a conversation
- 50:49Speaker 5: with you. And if we're asking them to give money,
- 50:52Speaker 5: I need to do that. Coach.
- 50:53Speaker 4: I know Bobby has your phone number, and be honest here,
- 50:56Speaker 4: how often does he text you?
- 50:58Speaker 5: No?
- 50:58Speaker 1: Hold on, I'm not asking you, I'm asking coach.
- 51:00Speaker 6: I said once I want a water burger. It's like,
- 51:01Speaker 6: let me alone.
- 51:01Speaker 4: Other than that, Coach, does he ever text you before
- 51:04Speaker 4: a game and say, Coach, I think we should do this?
- 51:06Speaker 5: No?
- 51:07Speaker 6: Not, he did though a call.
- 51:10Speaker 5: You don't care if I said what one? I did
- 51:12Speaker 5: get a call? Uh. And I happened to be on
- 51:14Speaker 5: the lake just to go by and hey, look at
- 51:18Speaker 5: this place, and I did. I was more happy to
- 51:21Speaker 5: do it, and went by. I took a few pictures, uh,
- 51:24Speaker 5: from the.
- 51:25Speaker 6: Lake side music.
- 51:27Speaker 2: It was like foreigner, you can tell foreigner on the
- 51:29Speaker 2: barge and.
- 51:31Speaker 5: And he was like yeah, but he did because I
- 51:34Speaker 5: aint it looked like a nice place but still hadn't sold.
- 51:37Speaker 6: So I don't ever want to abuse that.
- 51:39Speaker 5: Oh no, you you absolutely do not.
- 51:43Speaker 2: I feel guilty asking for like a T shirt, that's right,
- 51:45Speaker 2: But this program, this, this organization, this program the school
- 51:48Speaker 2: to me and my my wife would say the same thing,
- 51:51Speaker 2: like I've been able to do some cool stuff like
- 51:53Speaker 2: I've written best sellers, I sell out theaters, I do whatever.
- 51:56Speaker 2: I have a big radio show, but all that goes
- 51:58Speaker 2: secondary when Arkans place football and that crazy every single thing.
- 52:03Speaker 5: I think there's a lot of successful people that feel
- 52:07Speaker 5: the same way. You know, it's weird. I mean, it's wild,
- 52:10Speaker 5: but it's a passion for the Hogs. That's how you
- 52:12Speaker 5: grew up. It's how I grew up.
- 52:13Speaker 2: And it was the really only consistent thing. I moved
- 52:16Speaker 2: around a bunch like mom or live with Grandma or
- 52:19Speaker 2: got you know, shipped around a little bit, but the
- 52:21Speaker 2: only thing that was consistent was Saturday Arkansas was going
- 52:24Speaker 2: to play on like JP Sports or you know wherever
- 52:27Speaker 2: it was. And I think that is And also when
- 52:30Speaker 2: you come from a place that doesn't have a lot,
- 52:31Speaker 2: what you do have is so important. Amen, And that's
- 52:34Speaker 2: this whole that's that's the whole deal here. And so
- 52:37Speaker 2: you know, you feel like you're one of us. But really,
- 52:39Speaker 2: what people don't know if you have a British accent
- 52:40Speaker 2: and you're actually from London, and you really that's the
- 52:43Speaker 2: thing about your coach, you.
- 52:44Speaker 6: Really pull it off.
- 52:45Speaker 5: Well. You know, I'm a small town kid from Oklahoma,
- 52:49Speaker 5: and and when I came over here my junior year,
- 52:54Speaker 5: I wanted Lou Holtz was a coach. I wanted to
- 52:57Speaker 5: be a hog so bad. And I had my my
- 53:01Speaker 5: aunt and uncle lived in Don't Dover, Arkansas, and they
- 53:05Speaker 5: were big hog fans. And I do anything the hogs
- 53:08Speaker 5: offered me. Of course, they were smart and they didn't.
- 53:11Speaker 5: I wasn't either, but I was hoping, you know, and
- 53:14Speaker 5: I wouldn't offered me now. And but I fell in
- 53:18Speaker 5: love with the hogs and that was it. And then
- 53:21Speaker 5: I'll be honest with you, coming back here as an
- 53:24Speaker 5: old line coach was a dream, you know, I think
- 53:26Speaker 5: it was a dream more. You know, how you do
- 53:28Speaker 5: some things and it's for your parents, you know, some
- 53:32Speaker 5: of it's a little bit more for you and getting
- 53:34Speaker 5: back home, but it's for the enlightenment and the gratitude
- 53:38Speaker 5: appreciation for what your parents did. And here we're doing
- 53:42Speaker 5: something that was a little bit about it then. And
- 53:45Speaker 5: then come back as a head coach was that was unbelievable.
- 53:48Speaker 2: When you got the job, did you feel like you
- 53:50Speaker 2: were in the mix early.
- 53:51Speaker 5: Oh, no, Thursday, about Thursday. Now we're getting ready to
- 53:56Speaker 5: play the SEC Champions Georgia. We get ready to play LSU.
- 54:02Speaker 5: And I had spoke with Hunter that week on a Monday,
- 54:08Speaker 5: and I felt like it was kind of a courtesy
- 54:11Speaker 5: type deal, you know, because the kids had wanted, you know,
- 54:14Speaker 5: him to talk to me.
- 54:15Speaker 6: You're old guys here when you were.
- 54:16Speaker 5: Yeah, and so went about our business, and you know,
- 54:21Speaker 5: I had an agent and she said, we're not going
- 54:23Speaker 5: to do anything to after the game. I said, that's
- 54:25Speaker 5: I don't want to do anything to after the game.
- 54:27Speaker 5: And then after the game, I look at my phone.
- 54:30Speaker 5: It's crickets, you know, I'm going, oh yeah. And then
- 54:34Speaker 5: I was thankful that I had the job I had,
- 54:36Speaker 5: you know. And and then Sunday, at about ten am
- 54:40Speaker 5: Eastern time, Jamie called me and she was bawling, you know,
- 54:44Speaker 5: and I say, I thought something had happened to her
- 54:47Speaker 5: parents or something like that, Arkansas. I was going to
- 54:50Speaker 5: call you, you know, and they did well. Back in
- 54:55Speaker 5: the day, I didn't have two phones.
- 54:57Speaker 2: I wonder which number I have any another was that's
- 54:59Speaker 2: a good question. Now I probably got the crappy number.
- 55:01Speaker 5: No, I think you got the batphone.
- 55:02Speaker 2: You'll be funny if we If I called him, he
- 55:03Speaker 2: had them both out and we saw. We made them
- 55:05Speaker 2: declare which phone was real, and then we saw which
- 55:07Speaker 2: one ring. I think you got my okay, but they
- 55:10Speaker 2: called They called her she had the phone.
- 55:11Speaker 5: Well what happened? I didn't have two phones. But I
- 55:13Speaker 5: didn't want to interview with Arkansas on George's phone, so
- 55:18Speaker 5: I took Jamie's phone to uh whenever I interviewed. And
- 55:23Speaker 5: then they called that phone number and Jamie, you know,
- 55:28Speaker 5: Jamie had it at home and she said, here's the number,
- 55:30Speaker 5: call you know, and I did. And they just said, hey,
- 55:32Speaker 5: give us an hour and if we take bring the
- 55:37Speaker 5: plane to Athens, we're going to hire you as the
- 55:40Speaker 5: next head coach, you know. And so I said, ring
- 55:42Speaker 5: the plane, I said, well come.
- 55:44Speaker 2: On, that's like the pope watching the smoke. Yeah, like
- 55:46Speaker 2: you just watching for the plane of flying.
- 55:47Speaker 5: I said, well, well come on, come on now, and
- 55:50Speaker 5: they said, well, crazy business, you know. We'll let you
- 55:52Speaker 5: know in an hour. So I want to talk to
- 55:54Speaker 5: Kirby about it, you know. And and then a boy
- 55:57Speaker 5: hour and fifteen minutes later they called they were coming
- 56:00Speaker 5: to Athens and then could you believe it? No? And
- 56:04Speaker 5: then so I'm driving home and I'm I don't know,
- 56:09Speaker 5: I'm maybe ten minutes out, and the chancellor calls and
- 56:13Speaker 5: then I'm going, man, this is like real. And he's
- 56:15Speaker 5: talking about academics and I'm like, yes, absolutely, you know,
- 56:20Speaker 5: I don't care if they even practice, you know. And
- 56:24Speaker 5: so I hung up the phone. I think, well, then
- 56:26Speaker 5: I need a haircut. So I go to Supercuts. I'm
- 56:29Speaker 5: nineteenth in line. The thing said the ticket. The thing
- 56:33Speaker 5: says fifty nine minutes. Well, that plane's going to be
- 56:37Speaker 5: there in n ieron ten. And I'm going, well, am
- 56:39Speaker 5: I gonna? I saw, I'm gonna get the haircut. So
- 56:42Speaker 5: I got my haircut. I got home and I took
- 56:45Speaker 5: a quick shower, put a tight suit on because that's
- 56:48Speaker 5: all I own because I keep thinking I'm gonna lose weight,
- 56:51Speaker 5: but I don't and so but so I put my
- 56:54Speaker 5: tight suit on and then here they come in and
- 56:56Speaker 5: they we talked for a little bit, and about three
- 56:58Speaker 5: or four people with cameras they started walking in. I'm going, man,
- 57:04Speaker 5: I think I think I got a chance. And they
- 57:07Speaker 5: started a video and stuff and then we came back
- 57:09Speaker 5: and on the way back they said, hey, you've got
- 57:12Speaker 5: a team meeting at such and such. Well, I hadn't
- 57:14Speaker 5: prepared for nothing. I was in there grading tape on
- 57:17Speaker 5: the LSU Georgia game, you know that morning. I hadn't
- 57:21Speaker 5: prepared for anything. So I just dritted a few notes.
- 57:23Speaker 6: I all, haven't that fast?
- 57:24Speaker 5: That fast? You still get your hair cut at supercuts.
- 57:28Speaker 5: I think either supercuts or pro cuts. I don't know,
- 57:31Speaker 5: but it's they come to you now. But I've got
- 57:34Speaker 5: a young lady that I call and she gets me
- 57:37Speaker 5: in before no longer have to wait in that line. No,
- 57:41Speaker 5: I like her. I mean, I'm old, who cares what
- 57:44Speaker 5: my hair looks like?
- 57:44Speaker 6: So talk about hiring now?
- 57:47Speaker 2: Because offensive cornerator of this year been here before, and
- 57:51Speaker 2: so you make that call to him.
- 57:52Speaker 6: He was a Maryland I believe, and like now that
- 57:56Speaker 6: you know what.
- 57:56Speaker 2: It's like to be hired for a huge, high profile situation,
- 57:59Speaker 2: does that make you? Does that do you treat people
- 58:02Speaker 2: differently as now an executive as well executive anacon?
- 58:06Speaker 5: I hope I treat them like I would anybody. The
- 58:09Speaker 5: expectations of what their them doing their job is high,
- 58:15Speaker 5: you know, when when KB was going to go to
- 58:17Speaker 5: you know, was talking about Mississippi State. I had called
- 58:21Speaker 5: Dan and said, hey, if KB leaves, would you being
- 58:25Speaker 5: interested and he said absolutely so. Uh, whenever Kendall decided
- 58:30Speaker 5: to go to TCU, that was quick and fast. Now
- 58:33Speaker 5: T Wills was a little bit longer, you know, because
- 58:36Speaker 5: they interviewed more people, uh for that job. Actually, I
- 58:41Speaker 5: was in Maryland and everybody was saying I was there
- 58:44Speaker 5: to get their defensive coordinator, when I was just up
- 58:46Speaker 5: there to see John, you know, our defensive end. And
- 58:51Speaker 5: so I was supposed to meet t Will in Orlando
- 58:54Speaker 5: and I said, hey, can you drive to Tampa so
- 58:58Speaker 5: because they're back in the plane and he said yes. Well,
- 59:03Speaker 5: so then I interviewed t Will. I knew right when
- 59:06Speaker 5: we got done, that's who I wanted to hire. Flew
- 59:08Speaker 5: from there to Miami to pick up Morgan Turner, our
- 59:14Speaker 5: tight end coach. He was recruiting for Stanford, and I said,
- 59:19Speaker 5: just buy any kind of clothes. Just I'm not letting
- 59:22Speaker 5: you on the plane if you have Stanford gear on.
- 59:25Speaker 5: And we picked him up and we came home. So
- 59:28Speaker 5: that was that was a heck of a day. When
- 59:30Speaker 5: we when we hired Travis Williams, but I did not
- 59:34Speaker 5: hire him at that point because I didn't want to
- 59:36Speaker 5: disrespect UCF because it was close to signing day. And
- 59:40Speaker 5: then Gus called me and said, I'm gonna lose my
- 59:45Speaker 5: my secondary coach. Are you gonna hire t will I
- 59:49Speaker 5: said yes, but I'm trying to show respect and this,
- 59:51Speaker 5: and he said, well, go ahead and hire him because
- 59:54Speaker 5: if not, I'm going to lose my secondary coach, whom
- 59:56Speaker 5: he hired as Yeah, he promoted. So yeah, So it's
- 1:00:00Speaker 5: a crazy world coaching.
- 1:00:02Speaker 6: It's just kind of hit the ground running here.
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: Since he lived here before, he did that element of
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: like finding a place to live, it's probably easier so
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: he can be normal quicker.
- 1:00:09Speaker 5: Yeah, he knew the whole place just like I did
- 1:00:11Speaker 5: when I came back, and it was a very easy transition. Actually,
- 1:00:16Speaker 5: he flew in and then went on the road when
- 1:00:19Speaker 5: he landed. As soon as he landed, he went into
- 1:00:21Speaker 5: a couple of schools right when he landed, so that
- 1:00:25Speaker 5: was easy. And then te well, you know, he was
- 1:00:28Speaker 5: at Auburn. He understands the recruiting of the SEC and
- 1:00:31Speaker 5: all that kind of stuff. He came in during the
- 1:00:33Speaker 5: Bowl prep during the Liberty Bowl prep, so his wasn't
- 1:00:39Speaker 5: so urgent. You know, we were in the recruiting season
- 1:00:44Speaker 5: definitely towards a little bit more urgency when Dan got here.
- 1:00:49Speaker 5: But they both done an outstanding job.
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: Is there a I don't want to say new, but
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: the significance has kind of been restated of having a
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: really good back up quarterback. Do you feel that way
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: after what happened last year with kJ get hurt?
- 1:01:04Speaker 5: Yeah? Absolutely. I mean, you know, in life, you learned
- 1:01:08Speaker 5: a lot of lessons, and being the head coach, you
- 1:01:11Speaker 5: learned a lot of lessons. Some people think you're pretty
- 1:01:13Speaker 5: good at what you do, some people think you're horrible,
- 1:01:15Speaker 5: you know, all that kind of stuff. But as long
- 1:01:18Speaker 5: as you've as long as you're willing to learn all
- 1:01:20Speaker 5: the time and admit that there's I was a mistake
- 1:01:24Speaker 5: or whatever. And we just weren't quite ready there in
- 1:01:27Speaker 5: the backup quarterback situation. And so you know, we went
- 1:01:31Speaker 5: out got Chriswell, who I think is going to be
- 1:01:33Speaker 5: a really good player for us years to come, and
- 1:01:37Speaker 5: and we went out got him and got him in
- 1:01:39Speaker 5: the game the other day and he went to for
- 1:01:41Speaker 5: t Yeah, he's got a.
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: Gun spins it as they say, all right, final three questions, Eddie,
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: go ahead.
- 1:01:46Speaker 5: Yeah, coach.
- 1:01:47Speaker 4: The players keep you young, you know, they kind of
- 1:01:49Speaker 4: come to your office and teach you the new lingo
- 1:01:51Speaker 4: and new words.
- 1:01:52Speaker 5: Do you say stuff like lit and no, I haven't
- 1:01:55Speaker 5: lit up yet. But but Telly, what keeps me young?
- 1:02:00Speaker 5: We were actually talking about it out there during flex
- 1:02:03Speaker 5: and I said, you know, I'm sixty one. I don't
- 1:02:06Speaker 5: feel I feel young, but I know a lot of
- 1:02:11Speaker 5: sixty one year olds that are sixty one, you know,
- 1:02:14Speaker 5: if that makes sense when we were talking about it
- 1:02:16Speaker 5: out there. But the music, like whatever music they're playing,
- 1:02:20Speaker 5: if I like the song, then I tell Dalton or
- 1:02:24Speaker 5: equipment guy, I say, give it to him, and then
- 1:02:26Speaker 5: I'll put it on my Hot Springs yacht club, you know. Deal.
- 1:02:29Speaker 5: But the music kind of keeps me young too. So
- 1:02:33Speaker 5: there are some there is some music that they, you know,
- 1:02:37Speaker 5: the young kids listen to that.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: I like, what's one artist that you got kind of
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: turned to recently?
- 1:02:42Speaker 5: What's the guy? The last one I put on there
- 1:02:44Speaker 5: was I can't what's the guy's name? Something fifty? It was,
- 1:02:49Speaker 5: I can't. Yeah, a new guy. I've never heard him before.
- 1:02:56Speaker 5: But what happens is if you do that d version.
- 1:03:00Speaker 5: A lot of times it's just a beat. You knows
- 1:03:04Speaker 5: a lot of yeah we do, we don't. We don't
- 1:03:09Speaker 5: have the F bomb and all that stuff. But nowhere
- 1:03:12Speaker 5: in this building, you know, unless somebody says it, not
- 1:03:15Speaker 5: on lyrics and all that kind of stuff. So, you know,
- 1:03:18Speaker 5: I'm on Hot Springs Yacht Club. I'm gonna crank it.
- 1:03:20Speaker 5: I got a nice stereo, you know, on my boat,
- 1:03:23Speaker 5: and so I don't want, you know, all that stuff
- 1:03:25Speaker 5: on there. You know. So a lot of times though,
- 1:03:27Speaker 5: it's just the beat, you know, because it's nothing else.
- 1:03:31Speaker 6: It's all instrumental.
- 1:03:32Speaker 5: It's my whole is just an instrumental. It's a great meat.
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: I had two questions left your opinion, what's the greatest
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: football movie of all time?
- 1:03:44Speaker 6: Mm hmmm mmm, what are the best three?
- 1:03:48Speaker 5: Well? Do you count Forrest Gump as as a football
- 1:03:54Speaker 5: not football? Right?
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: A lot of football there?
- 1:03:56Speaker 5: He played football football. I mean, what was the one
- 1:04:04Speaker 5: where Adam Sandler was in that water Boys? Pretty good?
- 1:04:07Speaker 5: I thought, Uh, no one said that yet obviously, uh
- 1:04:15Speaker 5: help me, Kyle, along with your ard.
- 1:04:18Speaker 6: He just said a movie and that the old version
- 1:04:20Speaker 6: coach of the new one.
- 1:04:21Speaker 5: Hold On, hold on, I'm talking about our guy, Brandon
- 1:04:24Speaker 5: Burlsworth Greater. That's a good football movie. That but that
- 1:04:29Speaker 5: that's a yeah movie. And then the last one, I
- 1:04:34Speaker 5: wist say unnecessary roughness.
- 1:04:39Speaker 6: Yeah, that's a good one.
- 1:04:40Speaker 5: That's a good one. It was a good one. Yeah.
- 1:04:41Speaker 6: Kathy Island was the kicker.
- 1:04:42Speaker 5: Yeah, she was the girl kicker. Yeah. I thought it
- 1:04:44Speaker 5: was a good one.
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: Yeah, because when I was a kid, everybody liked Kathy Island.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: What school was that, Texas does a green.
- 1:04:52Speaker 5: Nor Green? I don't know you count me on that one,
- 1:04:56Speaker 5: but I do like Bobby Bouchet, you know, hilarious.
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: So all right, final question, what is a success for
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: you this year, with this season, with this team. Non
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: cliche answer, Florida Bowl or better.
- 1:05:12Speaker 5: We want to get We want to be in the
- 1:05:18Speaker 5: top twenty consistently, and the Florida Bowl were better. And
- 1:05:23Speaker 5: if we can do that, then to me, we've we've
- 1:05:26Speaker 5: had the lowest amount of success. In other words, we
- 1:05:29Speaker 5: can not have to, you know, go incognito in town
- 1:05:35Speaker 5: or in the state. But I said to Florida bows,
- 1:05:39Speaker 5: some Florida Bow is the floor, it's the marker. And
- 1:05:43Speaker 5: then whatever whatever else.
- 1:05:45Speaker 6: That's an honest answer.
- 1:05:45Speaker 5: I like it.
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: I'm glad it wasn't well. I feel like if the
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: players just come to me and say we had a
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: good day, that was a win. Those answers we don't like.
- 1:05:52Speaker 5: No. Well, when we went out to out Back Bowl,
- 1:05:56Speaker 5: we finished twentieth in the country one nine games, and
- 1:06:00Speaker 5: to me, that's that should be, you know, somewhere around
- 1:06:05Speaker 5: the floor of what we get done.
- 1:06:07Speaker 6: So well, we love you, coach.
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: We're pig and when we go places, they're like, you're
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: gonna come watch a game. I told Beamer at South Colines, like,
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: you should come out be on the sideline, and everybody's story.
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: Everybody was in the room.
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: I said, do you think you have a free Saturday?
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: I'm gonna come here and not go to a Mitch
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: Arkansas play. And he goes, that's a good point.
- 1:06:26Speaker 6: And that was it. And now that's how that conversation ended.
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: So we're super pumped about this year, super pomped to
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: have you.
- 1:06:31Speaker 6: We appreciate the time.
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: All right, Thanks coach, Thanks.

- 1:07:26Speaker 2: A few things I want to mention First of all,
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: the clip of my homes running that like I don't know,
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: it looks like a third and twenty five or whatever
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: it was, and there's just bladant holding holding that can't
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: say the defensive place.
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: I mean it's so bladant.
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: Yeah, and people are like, okay, they're protecting my homes.
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: They wanted the Chiefs to win. And to that, I say, probably, oh,
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: oh yeah, you think so. I was more of the
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: Oh it is so blatant.
- 1:07:51Speaker 4: I absolutely agree with that blade, but I'm more of
- 1:07:53Speaker 4: the there's holding every single place.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: I agree, but it's like you can hold on the inside.
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: This was holding is.
- 1:08:00Speaker 3: Out in the open, I mean wide open, and they
- 1:08:04Speaker 3: had broken down.
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: Superstars get superstar treatment. I believe that is the case
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: or the script man script. I don't believe in a script.
- 1:08:12Speaker 3: I cannot lose with t Swift in the house, then.
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: I don't believe in a script. But the Bears are
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: probably going to release Chase Claypool. Oh no, they say
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: he's like a child.
- 1:08:21Speaker 3: Yeah, really, he's an odd dude.
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: Dude, yeah, a great man that was like a what
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: a few three years ago.
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: They've asked for a fifth round pick, but nobody's wanted
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: to trade that for him, and so they're like, all right,
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: well he's been catered to his whole career. He's a child,
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: and no one wants to deal with it.
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: Who said that? A source close to the situation. He's okay,
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: So he's doing He's whipping people with the towel in
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: the locker room. That's what he's doing. I thought he
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: was panting people.
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: The Glazer was current odds for NFL coaches to be
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: fired number five, Robert salaf and the Jets ten to one.
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: No way, you can't. You can't.
- 1:08:56Speaker 3: He bought himself another year.
- 1:08:58Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: I think he hurt Rogers, Oh yeah, on purpose. And
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: now Rogers said he's coming back this year.
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: Okay, he's only yes, I agree, and he's only even
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: considering it if like eight things go right, and one
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: of them is if the Jets win enough games to
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: be in.
- 1:09:15Speaker 4: It much fun though, to be able to say whatever
- 1:09:18Speaker 4: you want and you know it's gonna be printed, it's
- 1:09:19Speaker 4: awesome and people are gonna talk about it.
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: It'd be awesome.
- 1:09:22Speaker 6: Uh.
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: Brandon st Elliot four, Ron Rivera at three. Although I
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: don't feel like Ron Rivera is gonna get fired, it's not. Yeah,
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: I feel like Staley before him. Maddieberflus at two and
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: Josh McDaniel's at one. He's two to one odds to
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: be fired. How about you read that about yourself and
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: Jonathan Taylor to return to practice this week.
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: I don't know what with who? Who's he with the Colts?
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: And they never got rid of him, never got rid
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: of him. He's been on the on the pup on
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: the pup. What is the pup? It's where you can't play.
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: It was physically unable to perform, so it should be
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: putt physically unable to but you physically could have performed, right,
- 1:10:01Speaker 2: he just yeah, nobody really knows, but yeah, his ankle
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: quote unquote right, yeah, sure, okay, yeah, all right, well
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: that's it.
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: And what's i R in your reserve? Got it STD?
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: That's sexual transmitted disease?
- 1:10:13Speaker 3: Okay?
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: Is that one of the ones you could get in
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: the list for m h Yeah.
- 1:10:17Speaker 3: Look, we still have to cover our locks last week
- 1:10:19Speaker 3: real quick.
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: I don't want to.
- 1:10:21Speaker 6: Oh yeah, I'm glad you're minded me.
- 1:10:25Speaker 5: Go ahead? All right?
- 1:10:25Speaker 6: Read over there.
- 1:10:26Speaker 3: You have the Colts minus two and you lost Buddy.
- 1:10:28Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: Sorry, I had Georgia minus fourteen and a half.
- 1:10:31Speaker 3: I lost Buddy Bobby Arkansas plus six and.
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: A half shut out.
- 1:10:35Speaker 9: Sorry, Ray, who's not sitting with us right now, but
- 1:10:39Speaker 9: he had Kansas plus sixteen and a half that lost
- 1:10:41Speaker 9: to the only winner this week, Cowboys minus seven eddies
- 1:10:46Speaker 9: about cowboys.
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: We all know ten bus not me. Put it in
