- 0:44Speaker 2: Guess who's back back again? Hello Cassidy, Hey, hello houses.
- 0:48Speaker 3: You must do so much. How are you feeling? You're
- 0:50Speaker 3: right you?
- 0:52Speaker 2: I'm ninety percent, okay, nineties good to me. Ninety is
- 0:55Speaker 2: good enough for me, all right.
- 0:57Speaker 4: I just didn't want to stay away any longer.
- 0:59Speaker 3: It's good to have you back. Honestly, we missed you
- 1:01Speaker 3: so much. We missed you at the Leapier birthday party celebration.
- 1:05Speaker 3: We wanted to give you enough time to heal. Everybody
- 1:07Speaker 3: says sends their love that we invited. We've got five
- 1:10Speaker 3: people who had birthdays on the twenty ninth, No, twenty
- 1:13Speaker 3: ninth on the calendar. We celebrated them, which was absolutely
- 1:15Speaker 3: incredible and thanks a lot to you for coming out.
- 1:19Speaker 3: I will tell you straight up for free Pietrice in
- 1:23Speaker 3: my head today, happy their day. This is running through
- 1:31Speaker 3: our heads today.
- 1:35Speaker 5: Woman, happy, happy, happy birday.
- 1:45Speaker 3: Hoo far this happened, right, I get it. And when
- 1:51Speaker 3: I say that, it stopped and then it started again.
- 1:57Speaker 3: We went to Santa Anna Spur in the water front.
- 2:00Speaker 3: I'm telling you now that that was the only place
- 2:02Speaker 3: where people were celebrating birthdays in the Western Cape every
- 2:06Speaker 3: single second, and then they stopped, and then you know
- 2:11Speaker 3: what happened.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Again? This was Saturday for us.
- 2:20Speaker 3: Well, I'm you jealous, and just I went around the
- 2:23Speaker 3: tables everywhere else's birth so it was actually quite interesting. Yes,
- 2:26Speaker 3: I got there and I wanted to celebrate with our people,
- 2:29Speaker 3: but then people pulled me toward their table. Then I
- 2:31Speaker 3: celebrated other people's birthdays.
- 2:33Speaker 2: It was crazy. It really was hot, Tache. Yeah, I
- 2:36Speaker 2: miss the old happy birthdays person.
- 2:40Speaker 3: What they This is what Saturday was like for us,
- 2:45Speaker 3: you know. But I know, you know, the great thing
- 2:48Speaker 3: is that actually did a modification and they did the
- 2:50Speaker 3: old school one for the table for all of our
- 2:53Speaker 3: five people who were celebrated a lipia. So thank you
- 2:56Speaker 3: very much for coming out. It was such a it
- 2:58Speaker 3: was a real fact. Jaw not gonna lie because technically.
- 3:00Speaker 4: It makes sense for them to hear the old one
- 3:02Speaker 4: because they're still like four.
- 3:04Speaker 3: Yes, you know what I mean twelve and a half
- 3:06Speaker 3: and yeah, there were a lot of people there that
- 3:08Speaker 3: but I mean, thank you very much to everybody. And
- 3:10Speaker 3: we also played the game that you came up with
- 3:13Speaker 3: that you did where we all got to wrap unwrap. Actually,
- 3:16Speaker 3: so there's a present and it was wrapped several times,
- 3:19Speaker 3: we didn't know how many times, and whoever wrapped that
- 3:21Speaker 3: last layer got the prize. And the great thing is
- 3:23Speaker 3: American Swiss dropped in a prize. So when they opened it,
- 3:27Speaker 3: which was sashurally opened it, she got herself some incredible
- 3:30Speaker 3: jewelry as well as slick watches from Tempo thanks to
- 3:33Speaker 3: American Swiss. And if you're looking to level up your
- 3:36Speaker 3: gift game and do the same at you're next party,
- 3:38Speaker 3: you can go to Bash online or just walk into
- 3:40Speaker 3: an American Swiss in store and go get their tempo
- 3:43Speaker 3: range because trust me. And it was such a great surprise.
- 3:46Speaker 3: And sidebar Sasha Lee's person that she brought along with her. Okay,
- 3:51Speaker 3: we did a leap your party. Yes he is a
- 3:54Speaker 3: leap officer. What a leap a law enforcement what? Yes,
- 4:00Speaker 3: he's a leap officer in the city of Cape Town.
- 4:02Speaker 3: I was like, what the hell this is leap seption.
- 4:04Speaker 3: It was crazy, It.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Was so cool.
- 4:06Speaker 3: O ahally yoh, it is really amazing now. But thank
- 4:09Speaker 3: you very much for having us for it was wonderful
- 4:12Speaker 3: to Sorry, excuse me. This was my conversations all the
- 4:18Speaker 3: way through on Saturday, was just going and going. It
- 4:21Speaker 3: just didn't stop, did not stop. But I'm glad we
- 4:25Speaker 3: could celebrate you because connection is the most important thing
- 4:27Speaker 3: to me, especially knowing that you support the show, you
- 4:30Speaker 3: support everybody who works a k from ninety four point five.
- 4:33Speaker 3: It's the least we can do to actually see you,
- 4:35Speaker 3: and remember, we are going to see you with a
- 4:36Speaker 3: different type of celebration. I just have to tell you that.
- 4:38Speaker 3: And don't get jealous now. But the winners of the
- 4:41Speaker 3: Leapier Party also got themselves tickets to Galaxy KD which
- 4:45Speaker 3: is the ultimate celebration for their leap ya and they're
- 4:47Speaker 3: going to be celebrating with us on the twenty eighth
- 4:49Speaker 3: of March, which is not too far away. We're getting
- 4:51Speaker 3: into pregame this week and Thursday. If you got your
- 4:53Speaker 3: tickets registered to be part of that party with Youngster
- 4:56Speaker 3: CBT and DJ ready D the grand Master himself, and
- 4:59Speaker 3: we'll see you then. But this is your flash drive
- 5:01Speaker 3: on KFM ninety four point five.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Welcome.
- 5:03Speaker 3: It's great they have you along for the ride. It's
- 5:05Speaker 3: great they have this lovely lady Cassidy back.
- 5:07Speaker 2: I'm so happy to be here.
- 5:08Speaker 3: Let's do this thing and move like Jagger. I love
- 5:11Speaker 3: Olivia Dean, I really do. So easy to fall in love.
- 5:14Speaker 3: Olivia Dean is fast becoming well. You know, obviously du
- 5:20Speaker 3: Aleipa is my number one. But yeah, I'm having a
- 5:25Speaker 3: bit of conflict at the moment. I'm not going to
- 5:26Speaker 3: lie to you. I'm struggling and I'm hoping that I'll
- 5:30Speaker 3: be able to get through this. But Olivia Dean is
- 5:34Speaker 3: fast becoming one. You know.
- 5:36Speaker 2: I experienced something a while back, yes.
- 5:40Speaker 4: Right, yes, I wake up in the morning and the
- 5:46Speaker 4: Portuguese restaurant that I frequent in Joeburg.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Yes, they stop playing Olivia Dean for me as you
- 5:54Speaker 2: walk in, and I was like, I feel so seen
- 5:59Speaker 2: because I love do they play? Man?
- 6:01Speaker 3: I need when you walk in talk to me, talk
- 6:03Speaker 3: to me and to put your Geese restaurant.
- 6:07Speaker 2: This is good.
- 6:10Speaker 3: Okay, that's so this this is a conflict for me.
- 6:15Speaker 3: I mean, do add the Brits. There was like a
- 6:19Speaker 3: whole performance and there was a big disco board. I
- 6:22Speaker 3: still feel the same way, but now Lavia Dean's walked
- 6:26Speaker 3: into the chat and I'm but you know what, I'll
- 6:29Speaker 3: get through it. Thank you very much for asking great.
- 6:32Speaker 3: I know you didn't ask for this either, But did
- 6:34Speaker 3: you know that the world's first recorded pizza delivery happened
- 6:38Speaker 3: in eighteen eighty nine when it's King amberto the first
- 6:42Speaker 3: and Queen Margarita ordered pizzas to their palace. So even
- 6:46Speaker 3: royalty have days where they don't want to cook. Well
- 6:48Speaker 3: they weren't they their subjects to cook? I like how
- 6:51Speaker 3: you changed that, Queen Margarita, which makes sense. I suppose
- 6:56Speaker 3: that's where where the pizza came from. The queen ordered
- 6:58Speaker 3: something without any topics and just said just give me
- 7:01Speaker 3: a pizza, and then the Margharita was born. I don't know.
- 7:05Speaker 3: I don't know if this is the official origin of it.
- 7:07Speaker 4: Maybe it was probably like, no, I don't want anything
- 7:10Speaker 4: too crazy. Yes no, I swear I don't want anything
- 7:13Speaker 4: too crazy, and then probably just picked off his because
- 7:17Speaker 4: you know how gods go to the garage.
- 7:19Speaker 2: I don't want anything.
- 7:19Speaker 4: I don't want anything, and then you come back with nothing,
- 7:22Speaker 4: and now you're in trouble.
- 7:23Speaker 2: That's what happened.
- 7:24Speaker 3: So do you think that I think that's.
- 7:26Speaker 2: How the Margarita came to be.
- 7:28Speaker 4: I don't want anything on no, no, no, no, Please don't
- 7:30Speaker 4: over complicate it.
- 7:31Speaker 2: Just give me the bait. I just want the bass. Honestly,
- 7:33Speaker 2: the bass.
- 7:34Speaker 3: Hold on. My researchers are working hard. The Margherita pizza
- 7:39Speaker 3: originated in Naples and Italy, traditionally credited to chef Rafa
- 7:44Speaker 3: Espositor in eighteen eighty nine, who named it after Queen
- 7:47Speaker 3: Margherita of Savoy.
- 7:48Speaker 2: So it is drama because she said you didn't want
- 7:52Speaker 2: anything else. That's what she did, oh my word.
- 7:55Speaker 3: And then apparently the one the other one was it
- 7:58Speaker 3: is a mushroom pizza because apparently that gentleman who was
- 8:03Speaker 3: king umberto the first was a fun guy, so that's
- 8:06Speaker 3: probably why he ordered the mushrooms as well. And then
- 8:09Speaker 3: there was another one. There were another queen, Margarita from Hawaii,
- 8:13Speaker 3: and then that's where the Pinal pizza came from.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Yes, And then.
- 8:17Speaker 3: There was there was another guy, right, he was always
- 8:20Speaker 3: eating pizzas in a suit. He was quite debonair. And
- 8:23Speaker 3: then a whole chain started. And then the other guy
- 8:25Speaker 3: was a butler. But then he also liked pizza, but
- 8:28Speaker 3: he didn't want to cook. And then butler's started, which
- 8:30Speaker 3: is quite and what what do you mean? I don't
- 8:33Speaker 3: know what he's talking about, all right? And then they
- 8:35Speaker 3: got Pavarotti's name wrong, the opera singer when they when
- 8:38Speaker 3: they made another restaurant, didn't they mistook the V it
- 8:42Speaker 3: was the N and they made Panarotti's. I don't know
- 8:44Speaker 3: if you know the story. And then yes, it's because
- 8:46Speaker 3: the opera team needed pizza, and that's how they came
- 8:48Speaker 3: up with that. It's fascinating how these pizzas came. Yes, wow,
- 8:53Speaker 3: good talk, crety, good talk. Yes, indeed, I tell you
- 8:55Speaker 3: what a couple of other things that I've found for you.
- 8:57Speaker 3: I think the only thing that I want to focus
- 8:59Speaker 3: on here is it's big news. Siblings can now be
- 9:04Speaker 3: forced to pay your bills. Allow me to explain. The
- 9:07Speaker 3: NPA has confirmed something that are so Africans clutching their wallets.
- 9:12Speaker 3: It turns out you can legally claim maintenance from your
- 9:16Speaker 3: siblings if you cannot cover basic needs like food, shelter,
- 9:20Speaker 3: or medical care. This is not even a new rule.
- 9:23Speaker 3: It's been in the Maintenance Act for years. We all
- 9:26Speaker 3: thought it was just a memo, but it's actually true.
- 9:28Speaker 3: The court will only grant it if you can prove
- 9:30Speaker 3: you are genuinely struggling and your sibling can afford to help.
- 9:34Speaker 3: In other words, you cannot claim because your brother drives
- 9:37Speaker 3: a nicer car. You must, now, you know, show show
- 9:41Speaker 3: me the money, and you have to show in real
- 9:42Speaker 3: need and they must show real means. So if your
- 9:46Speaker 3: family group chat suddenly goes suspiciously quiet after me telling
- 9:49Speaker 3: you this, you'll know exactly why.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Spicy it is. You know, it is very very spicy.
- 9:56Speaker 4: Eyes stress because my sister's eleven years younger than me.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Oh, you are can't afford basic needs?
- 10:03Speaker 3: You're done for?
- 10:05Speaker 2: You have you checked out university?
- 10:06Speaker 3: Fee yet. Oh, I'm so sorry. You know it's great
- 10:13Speaker 3: working with you, but this will be job number three
- 10:16Speaker 3: of five. Now now that you know this is happening,
- 10:19Speaker 3: this is crazy. But I mean, if you were on
- 10:21Speaker 3: the job space, allow me to let you know that
- 10:25Speaker 3: South Africans might need to get ready for a major
- 10:27Speaker 3: shakeup in your workday. Talking about work, yep, government is
- 10:30Speaker 3: looking at new labor laws that would overhaul working hours
- 10:33Speaker 3: to fit a more modern and flexible workplace. The Department
- 10:36Speaker 3: of Employment and Labor says the rules need updating because technology,
- 10:39Speaker 3: remote work, and shifting lifestyles have changed how people actually
- 10:42Speaker 3: work in twenty twenty six. No longer just nine to
- 10:45Speaker 3: five Nope. The proposals include reviewing the standard forty five
- 10:48Speaker 3: hour work week, looking at flexibility for remote and hybrid workers,
- 10:52Speaker 3: and updating overtime rules so they can make sense in
- 10:55Speaker 3: the digital age. They aim us to protect workers in
- 10:57Speaker 3: a world where your laptop follows you everywhere and your
- 11:00Speaker 3: boss calls you at seven pm at night saying don't
- 11:02Speaker 3: you want to just tweak this XL document quickly? You
- 11:04Speaker 3: can officially tell them, Hey, I'm over hours here, I'm
- 11:08Speaker 3: initiating over time. I think this is going to be
- 11:10Speaker 3: looked at and ratified a lot further and as soon
- 11:13Speaker 3: as it drops properly, I'm going to get in a
- 11:15Speaker 3: proper employment consultant to tell you exactly what the recourse
- 11:18Speaker 3: is and what you can do to protect your rights
- 11:20Speaker 3: as an employee.
- 11:21Speaker 2: That is incredible. Yep, sure, I tell you.
- 11:26Speaker 4: I don't know why I'm getting calls from clients on Sunday.
- 11:30Speaker 2: Really, yeah, on Sundays on Sundays. Don't you just want
- 11:34Speaker 2: to change this thing?
- 11:36Speaker 6: Oh?
- 11:36Speaker 2: I just want to change that? True? Excuse me? Who
- 11:40Speaker 2: is this? Who is this? How did you get my number?
- 11:45Speaker 3: And that's I'm hoping that people, because it's it's really
- 11:47Speaker 3: and I think it's it's really invasive when you get
- 11:50Speaker 3: those types of calls, and it's just because you know,
- 11:52Speaker 3: you're that person has a laptop open, they can access
- 11:55Speaker 3: their laptop. It's it's about protection in that space as well,
- 11:57Speaker 3: which is great. So if you reach your limit, it's
- 11:59Speaker 3: going to be ratified by the HR department and that
- 12:02Speaker 3: boss needs to be called or that manager needs to
- 12:04Speaker 3: be called and say you can only call Cassidy, you
- 12:07Speaker 3: can only call them on Monday, because that's when the
- 12:10Speaker 3: new cycle starts, and that's it.
- 12:12Speaker 4: Just because you have my number and it's streamlines the
- 12:15Speaker 4: whole like the whole mo o and like trying to
- 12:17Speaker 4: get a hold of me and whatever, doesn't mean you
- 12:19Speaker 4: should be.
- 12:20Speaker 2: Able to use it.
- 12:21Speaker 3: That's exactly it. A lot of people need to back
- 12:24Speaker 3: off a little bit in respect space and time because
- 12:26Speaker 3: it's that rest time and that family time that employee
- 12:29Speaker 3: gets that recharges them to be effective and productive for
- 12:32Speaker 3: your company. So consider that before you make that call
- 12:35Speaker 3: at eight o'clock at night just to tweak something.
- 12:37Speaker 2: You know what.
- 12:37Speaker 3: You're a boss and a manager for a reason. Make
- 12:39Speaker 3: a plan anyway. Anyway, let's go to your job.
- 12:44Speaker 2: Can we do that night?
- 12:45Speaker 3: Your job is traffic at the moment, and the NISTS
- 12:47Speaker 3: and Magnet one lead Turbo center is there officially five
- 12:51Speaker 3: star NCAP Safety RTED get yours now from only three
- 12:54Speaker 3: hundred and twenty nine nine hundred tees and sees apply.
- 12:56Speaker 3: Let's take your first look at the Duane Harden that
- 12:59Speaker 3: you know from you don't know me with Omin Van
- 13:01Speaker 3: Holden that track back in the day. He is now
- 13:03Speaker 3: a certified writer and he's incorporated an AI to get
- 13:08Speaker 3: all of his writing into this project called Soul Healer
- 13:10Speaker 3: that tracks called home Now just hit the KFM top
- 13:13Speaker 3: forty and now it's on your flash drive on kfrom
- 13:15Speaker 3: ninety four point five. Hopefully I peach your interest because
- 13:18Speaker 3: there is an app that can aggregate all of the
- 13:20Speaker 3: items that you want on your grocery list and compare
- 13:23Speaker 3: the prices, but in one sitting. No pamphlets, no paging through,
- 13:26Speaker 3: no check that one site again, what about this one?
- 13:29Speaker 3: What about that one? I think that is the convenience
- 13:31Speaker 3: of this particular app. The great thing is that it's
- 13:33Speaker 3: been developed by a South African ethan stunder who will
- 13:37Speaker 3: chat to you a little bit more about where it
- 13:39Speaker 3: came from the brainchild of it and more importantly, how
- 13:42Speaker 3: it can actually be super convenient for you because there
- 13:45Speaker 3: are some cool features on this app if you do
- 13:47Speaker 3: download it from the Google Play Store, that you'll come
- 13:50Speaker 3: to get to know and get to use, especially as
- 13:54Speaker 3: you head off to some shopping. Maybe it's a bit
- 13:56Speaker 3: of mid month, end of the month, doesn't matter. This
- 13:58Speaker 3: Grocify app is going to be a game changing. I
- 14:01Speaker 3: know you may think it's just an app. Why people
- 14:03Speaker 3: going on? But you do realize you've created an app
- 14:05Speaker 3: that is designed not only on a utility level, but
- 14:10Speaker 3: also on a psychological level. You're basically in the heads
- 14:13Speaker 3: of every South African. So well done, my friend.
- 14:16Speaker 7: Thank you, I appreciate it. I just I just wanted
- 14:18Speaker 7: to give people cheaper groceries.
- 14:19Speaker 3: Is that it? Yeah, that's the noble course. I just
- 14:22Speaker 3: want to give you cheaper groceries. So yes, the app,
- 14:24Speaker 3: do with it what you want, and that's exactly what
- 14:26Speaker 3: we're doing today. But I think the best place to
- 14:28Speaker 3: start is what is grocify gro Cify. We've seen it
- 14:35Speaker 3: in the Google App Store, the play store. I just
- 14:37Speaker 3: want to know for anybody who is not really app savvy,
- 14:41Speaker 3: what is Grossify.
- 14:43Speaker 4: Oh?
- 14:43Speaker 7: Well, to break it down into simple terms, it's just
- 14:47Speaker 7: an app that finds your nearest stores and then compares
- 14:50Speaker 7: the groceries to make sure you get the cheapest variant
- 14:53Speaker 7: of it.
- 14:53Speaker 3: So geo located as well. So when you say your
- 14:56Speaker 3: nearest stores, are you saying that you actually are getting
- 14:59Speaker 3: the daughter from the area in and the retail stores
- 15:03Speaker 3: around you. And that's how it finds you the best
- 15:05Speaker 3: deals in certain products.
- 15:07Speaker 7: Correct, Yeah, that is exactly how it does.
- 15:08Speaker 3: This is fascinating, but as a South African. I know
- 15:12Speaker 3: where this came from, Like, I know this is the
- 15:14Speaker 3: headspace and all of us. However, I need to know
- 15:17Speaker 3: the story. How did you come up with an app
- 15:18Speaker 3: like this?
- 15:19Speaker 7: Well, I didn't know. It wasn't my idea, it was
- 15:22Speaker 7: it was my girlfriend's mother's idea. I would usually capture,
- 15:25Speaker 7: you know, comparing like grocery prices between like four to
- 15:28Speaker 7: five different places, and you know, she just looked at
- 15:30Speaker 7: me one day and she was like, why don't you
- 15:32Speaker 7: make something for this? And I thought, no, that's impossible,
- 15:34Speaker 7: and then all two weeks glad that I started trying.
- 15:37Speaker 3: Wow, so this is all your mother in law's idea
- 15:40Speaker 3: pretty much.
- 15:40Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 15:41Speaker 3: Is she available for the rest of this interview?
- 15:44Speaker 2: Sadly? But if you.
- 15:48Speaker 7: Wonder if what's tomorrow at the two pm slot, I
- 15:50Speaker 7: can go go over.
- 15:51Speaker 2: Yeah, that'd be great. Thank you.
- 15:52Speaker 3: I'd appreciate that. And let's just start off with you
- 15:55Speaker 3: said you gave it a shot, So I need to
- 15:56Speaker 3: know how this works. How did you get to that
- 15:59Speaker 3: fine tuning of actually number one, getting retail data and
- 16:02Speaker 3: then aggregating that onto a single app so you can
- 16:05Speaker 3: see what is happening in your area, so all.
- 16:07Speaker 7: Products regardless of retailers actually have a constant code called
- 16:12Speaker 7: like a GTIM like that comes from the producer. Yeah,
- 16:14Speaker 7: so step one is essentially you have to match those
- 16:17Speaker 7: and then second part is I've essentially got an algorithm
- 16:20Speaker 7: in the app itself that looks at the two aims
- 16:23Speaker 7: of product and if it's similar enough, then it groups
- 16:25Speaker 7: them together.
- 16:27Speaker 3: Okay, I'm getting what you're putting down because I know
- 16:29Speaker 3: that products come out with a barcode, and that barcode
- 16:32Speaker 3: is on the actual product no matter what retail store
- 16:34Speaker 3: it's in. So I'm assuming that the barcode is almost
- 16:37Speaker 3: speaking to the product itself and that's what the algorithm
- 16:39Speaker 3: catches in order to aggregate and then give it to
- 16:42Speaker 3: you at a display screen. Toilet paper here here and here here,
- 16:45Speaker 3: your prices make a good decision. Little Bertie tells me
- 16:48Speaker 3: that there's also a little thing a feature in there
- 16:51Speaker 3: around cost of getting to the store in question to
- 16:54Speaker 3: get the cheaper deal. Is that true?
- 16:57Speaker 7: That is completely true.
- 16:58Speaker 3: It does calculate, bir What so you saying that if
- 17:01Speaker 3: I find TP toilet paper at a retail store that's
- 17:05Speaker 3: a bit further away, at least that's calculated in right, yeah.
- 17:08Speaker 7: Yeah. So for example, if let's say Checkers has toilet
- 17:12Speaker 7: paper for the works toilet paper Checkers, and then you
- 17:15Speaker 7: know you have a spot nearby or you know that's
- 17:17Speaker 7: maybe a bit further away, and like let's say their
- 17:19Speaker 7: toilet paper is you know, they're on a super sal
- 17:21Speaker 7: and they want to get rid of it, and it's
- 17:22Speaker 7: like a hundred and like ten or whatever. Yeah, right,
- 17:25Speaker 7: so could immediately see like a forty rand difference. Oh
- 17:27Speaker 7: that's pretty big, and you know that might entire someone,
- 17:30Speaker 7: but then they go like, oh no, like it's a
- 17:31Speaker 7: waste because I'll use up XYZ in a petrol. But
- 17:34Speaker 7: the app shows that for you. It just calculates the
- 17:37Speaker 7: distance and then it's essentially based on how big your
- 17:41Speaker 7: car is. These are some details you have to answer
- 17:42Speaker 7: because I can't tell how big your car is and
- 17:45Speaker 7: like that. But essentially, yeah, it does that, and it
- 17:47Speaker 7: also has a constantly updated price or petrol based on
- 17:50Speaker 7: where you are, and then it'll just tell you. So
- 17:52Speaker 7: then you'll see like, oh wait, it would only cost
- 17:54Speaker 7: me like eight rand worth of petrol, so I should
- 17:56Speaker 7: do that to say thirty two rands.
- 17:58Speaker 3: I'm I'm shocked. I'm surprised. I'm enthused, I'm proud, I'm
- 18:02Speaker 3: you're a South African. I want to give you a hug.
- 18:04Speaker 3: This is an award winning app I'm telling you now
- 18:07Speaker 3: on this day, I told you it's going to be
- 18:09Speaker 3: award winning because you're making our lives so much easier,
- 18:12Speaker 3: especially with that idea of putting the petrol in there,
- 18:14Speaker 3: because that's what people say, Hey, I saw a dear cheaper,
- 18:18Speaker 3: but then I've going to have to drive out the
- 18:19Speaker 3: round petrol to get there. You know, this is the
- 18:21Speaker 3: thing and I love this, So I'm going to throw
- 18:24Speaker 3: you a curve ball. Let me put it that way.
- 18:25Speaker 3: Here's the curve. Sometimes retail stores in their independence or
- 18:30Speaker 3: in their franchise stable will have a deal.
- 18:34Speaker 2: Maybe they're overstocked.
- 18:35Speaker 3: This is usually when a deal happens, right, so Canola oil,
- 18:38Speaker 3: for instance, they've got too many of the bottles on,
- 18:41Speaker 3: you know, in stock, and what they'll do is immediately
- 18:43Speaker 3: they'll slap on a discount. Now, how do you account
- 18:47Speaker 3: for that? Because that happens quite frequently. So I know
- 18:51Speaker 3: the apple have existing costs, etc. And I'm sure you
- 18:53Speaker 3: updated with your algorithm, but how do you account for
- 18:56Speaker 3: those sort of on the spot deals for limited time only,
- 19:00Speaker 3: will that be reflected on the app.
- 19:02Speaker 7: Essentially, the problems already been solved. If you take a
- 19:04Speaker 7: look at the app, if you want to use it, it
- 19:07Speaker 7: already shows you deals per per store and then when
- 19:12Speaker 7: it comes to the national ones, at least for now,
- 19:15Speaker 7: I've gotten into contact with the SPA and they're willing
- 19:18Speaker 7: to essentially give me stuff that I can use to
- 19:21Speaker 7: display the national level deals on the app.
- 19:24Speaker 3: This is crazy, and I know that the responses are
- 19:26Speaker 3: going to be great. So well, then to you, Ethan,
- 19:28Speaker 3: and to your mother in law.
- 19:31Speaker 7: Creditor, thank you.
- 19:32Speaker 2: Yeah, just give it, give us some credit.
- 19:33Speaker 3: Okay, she's amazing, she had a good idea.
- 19:36Speaker 2: She does whatever.
- 19:37Speaker 3: So an African consumer does we compare prices all the time?
- 19:40Speaker 3: Of course, there's one last thing. I know that on
- 19:43Speaker 3: the play Store we can download it there, but I
- 19:45Speaker 3: know that iPhone users, and there are many, we'd like
- 19:48Speaker 3: to know when that's going to be available on their
- 19:50Speaker 3: app store. So when is that going to be dropping?
- 19:53Speaker 7: Finally, enough, I think that was the most asked question.
- 19:55Speaker 7: But I'm sorting it art and I'm hoping before the
- 19:58Speaker 7: end of March that it'll be on the I Store,
- 20:01Speaker 7: Apple Store, wherever you guys.
- 20:02Speaker 3: About As a last thought, I'm looking into the future
- 20:05Speaker 3: beyond some of the roadblocks, et cetera. You know where
- 20:08Speaker 3: do you see this going? Like, what's the big dream
- 20:11Speaker 3: for you? I like to manifest verbally. I think it's important,
- 20:13Speaker 3: So you know where would you like this to go? Oh?
- 20:15Speaker 7: If I'm trying to manifest, the best idea what I
- 20:17Speaker 7: want in the future is I kind of just want
- 20:20Speaker 7: an app that a user can talk into and they
- 20:23Speaker 7: can go, like, listen, I need this MANI meals for
- 20:25Speaker 7: like five people over this week, find the cheapest stuff
- 20:28Speaker 7: for me, and then it runs through an algorithm and
- 20:31Speaker 7: then it grabs the data from the stores and then
- 20:33Speaker 7: it plops it up and then just lets you hit order.
- 20:36Speaker 3: Dude, it's been great to chat to you. Well done, so, Ethan,
- 20:39Speaker 3: this is a moment for you and I just wanted
- 20:42Speaker 3: to capture you on this day as we all start
- 20:44Speaker 3: downloading to say thank you and we wish you all
- 20:47Speaker 3: the best. My friend, I appreciate it. Thank you Ethan
- 20:49Speaker 3: Standard from Grossify. What a creator he is. If you
- 20:53Speaker 3: want to go download that, it's on your Google Play
- 20:55Speaker 3: Store yet to be on the App Store on iPhone,
- 20:59Speaker 3: but it's coming before the end of March, as he says.
- 21:01Speaker 3: But just be careful of the one that you pick
- 21:05Speaker 3: to download, so Grossify, Grocify. You'll find two of them
- 21:11Speaker 3: on the store. The one with the orange logo. Okay,
- 21:14Speaker 3: it's got a percentage sign in a little baggie. That's
- 21:17Speaker 3: the one that you should be downloading from. Ethan Stunder,
- 21:19Speaker 3: our South African developer who's created this, and it is
- 21:23Speaker 3: available to download immediately, as mentioned if you do have
- 21:26Speaker 3: an iPhone, it's not on the way to you. But
- 21:29Speaker 3: I love celebrating creators like that, people who use tech
- 21:31Speaker 3: to make consumers' lives easier. You will welcome on the
- 21:34Speaker 3: show anytime he is Ben Rodriguez, Come on home, Ben Rodriguez,
- 21:38Speaker 3: Homestick vocals from the Locals on your flash drive and
- 21:41Speaker 3: KFM ninety four point five. I know that you may
- 21:43Speaker 3: be stuck on the roads somewhere, but just to go back,
- 21:45Speaker 3: very very quickly before I get onto those details with Cassidy,
- 21:49Speaker 3: how core is that app?
- 21:50Speaker 4: Like?
- 21:50Speaker 3: Just think about shopping in a different way where everything
- 21:54Speaker 3: that you need to compare is in front of you,
- 21:55Speaker 3: in front of your face.
- 21:56Speaker 2: Listen I have.
- 21:58Speaker 4: I've experienced different versions of those apps when I was traveling, yes,
- 22:02Speaker 4: and I would always say to myself, why don't we have.
- 22:05Speaker 2: Things like this, you know, in Cape Town or wherever.
- 22:09Speaker 4: Because it really just like it makes the experience so
- 22:13Speaker 4: much easier. And I must say, I do think it's
- 22:15Speaker 4: going to be revolutionary. I think there might be a
- 22:17Speaker 4: few hiccups and whatever a long way, but much like
- 22:20Speaker 4: you know, with.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Anything you start, yeah, you know. So I'm excited to.
- 22:25Speaker 4: See what comes from this and I'm definitely going to
- 22:27Speaker 4: be downloading it.
- 22:28Speaker 3: Yep, Ethan's standard. Well done to you, my friend. I'm
- 22:31Speaker 3: getting a lot of messages. As I mentioned to you
- 22:34Speaker 3: just after the chat with Ethan, who created grossy Fi,
- 22:38Speaker 3: the app is available on your Placeto. I know if
- 22:40Speaker 3: you're an iPhone user, it's not available to you just yet,
- 22:43Speaker 3: but it is on its way. I think Ethan, with
- 22:45Speaker 3: great haste after the call, is now going to put
- 22:48Speaker 3: in some late hours to get that sorted on the
- 22:51Speaker 3: Ice store. But the thing is here. I just want
- 22:53Speaker 3: to make sure that you know exactly watch one to download,
- 22:56Speaker 3: because as Cassidy mentioned, there are versions of these all
- 23:00Speaker 3: over the world, so on the play store find the one.
- 23:02Speaker 3: It's an orange icon, it's got a percentage sign in
- 23:05Speaker 3: a bag, and it's grosy fi like groceries, but grocy
- 23:08Speaker 3: fi Spotify for groceries. Okay, that's only way I can
- 23:13Speaker 3: tell you exactly what it is. Grossy Fi. But while
- 23:16Speaker 3: out to Ethan and if you want to catch that
- 23:18Speaker 3: chat again, I'll make sure it's available to stream to
- 23:21Speaker 3: you on any platform where you get your podcast sorted. Okay,
- 23:24Speaker 3: on the flash Drive and KFM ninety four point five,
- 23:27Speaker 3: Cassidy's back, which is perfect because we have a nice
- 23:30Speaker 3: session of we listen and we don't chudge coming away
- 23:34Speaker 3: in about fifteen. So if you want to be part
- 23:36Speaker 3: of that, if you have anything over the weekend that's
- 23:38Speaker 3: popped up, if you'd like to confess to anything, if
- 23:40Speaker 3: you'd like to share anything, if you'd like to say, hey,
- 23:43Speaker 3: I have an unpopular opinion about something, this is the
- 23:45Speaker 3: place to do it. It's your show, the flash Drive
- 23:47Speaker 3: on KFM ninety four point five, and often we have
- 23:50Speaker 3: the most great, amazing adventures on any given Monday. This
- 23:55Speaker 3: is what I mean. We listen and we don't just right.
- 24:03Speaker 3: I am so privileged to have people who would come
- 24:05Speaker 3: up to me and say amazing things about the show
- 24:08Speaker 3: and about me, and I love that so much. And
- 24:11Speaker 3: over this weekend it was wonderful to see so many people,
- 24:14Speaker 3: but there were a few, maybe more than a few,
- 24:16Speaker 3: that came up to me and said, cow, I love
- 24:18Speaker 3: you and I listened to you every morning. So futer
- 24:24Speaker 3: stick at me. So best course of action do I
- 24:29Speaker 3: correct someone or just say.
- 24:30Speaker 2: Put some respect on my name? Thank you for the.
- 24:32Speaker 3: Support of k from ninety four point five, like I've
- 24:34Speaker 3: been doing the latter. Okay, take a listen to this.
- 24:37Speaker 2: So I need to conface.
- 24:40Speaker 9: If you are being asked to think live three months
- 24:44Speaker 9: bank statements to a company of a person that's close
- 24:48Speaker 9: to you, is it wrong for me to just scroll
- 24:52Speaker 9: by accident through the bank statements to see you how
- 24:55Speaker 9: much they earn and what did they spend the money
- 24:58Speaker 9: on and who got money?
- 25:00Speaker 5: Scatchy?
- 25:02Speaker 2: Am I wrong? Sorry?
- 25:04Speaker 3: It was anonymous.
- 25:05Speaker 2: No, I would also remain anonymous.
- 25:07Speaker 3: When you're scanting through the bank stay possess, right.
- 25:11Speaker 2: I don't know? Yeah, listen confession.
- 25:16Speaker 3: So many Wow, the things we hear.
- 25:22Speaker 2: Crazy? Sorry, oh my.
- 25:27Speaker 3: Hey, if you have anything please zer eight two nine
- 25:30Speaker 3: four five zero nine four zero. We do that in
- 25:33Speaker 3: about fifteen minutes. I'll wait, all right, let's do this thing.
- 25:36Speaker 3: It is a lovely session together. We listen and we
- 25:40Speaker 3: don't charge. Hey, let's find out what's on your mind.
- 25:46Speaker 3: And do you remember that we are here for you.
- 25:48Speaker 3: We're gonna say we it's a it's me call. It's
- 25:51Speaker 3: Cassidy Jade Nicholson and Pietrice Alejandro. Yep, but I say again,
- 25:57Speaker 3: no share, I wrying to do what there we go great.
- 26:02Speaker 3: So there are a few that have come through first
- 26:06Speaker 3: and foremost we go to this one here.
- 26:09Speaker 5: Hi call, well, listen, ama charge that. So when I
- 26:14Speaker 5: drive my boyfriend Score, I make sure that I drive
- 26:18Speaker 5: it nice and empty, and then I and then I
- 26:23Speaker 5: go to work.
- 26:24Speaker 2: The next day with my call.
- 26:26Speaker 5: And then by the time he gets in his care
- 26:27Speaker 5: he realizes that there's no bitter in Score.
- 26:30Speaker 9: I mean, yes to go put him so the next
- 26:33Speaker 9: time I drive it, and there's also bitro in Gore.
- 26:35Speaker 5: So I kind of need a put pit in my
- 26:37Speaker 5: care because when I'm using these care it is in
- 26:39Speaker 5: my care the time he uses myel and the petrol
- 26:42Speaker 5: is finishing my care. So either way he'll be putting
- 26:45Speaker 5: in because he needs to drive a call.
- 26:47Speaker 2: Let's left for him with no petrol.
- 26:51Speaker 3: Not a judgment here, but if you are said boyfriend
- 26:56Speaker 3: in that situation, my recommendation in that regard is for
- 27:00Speaker 3: you to use her shampoo and conditioner until it's empty
- 27:03Speaker 3: and then leave it in the shower. Thank you.
- 27:06Speaker 4: Use the milk maybe, and when it's empty, put it
- 27:09Speaker 4: back in the fridge.
- 27:10Speaker 3: Okay, Now, why are you age waiting? I'm trying to
- 27:12Speaker 3: create equality. You're trying to create warrior. No, man, you
- 27:16Speaker 3: know that little that bitchy you know when you flick
- 27:18Speaker 3: the cotton and then you see the ah, yoh, what
- 27:23Speaker 3: is wrong with that last Miller liter Hey? Why couldn't
- 27:26Speaker 3: you use that?
- 27:27Speaker 2: You know what?
- 27:27Speaker 4: What eat something from a top of air that was
- 27:30Speaker 4: in the fridge when it's empty?
- 27:34Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 27:35Speaker 3: Yeah, I think that because the recourse to the boyfriend, man,
- 27:37Speaker 3: you know what I mean, if he ever ever gets
- 27:39Speaker 3: annoyed with it, just do that, my friend. But thank
- 27:42Speaker 3: you for sharing. And we're not judging you. We're just
- 27:44Speaker 3: thinking about the equality of the scenario, that is all.
- 27:47Speaker 2: Is that fine to say yes feminism.
- 27:49Speaker 8: For me, it's smart economics.
- 27:53Speaker 3: Oh so you would you would do the same thing. Yes, okay,
- 27:55Speaker 3: but I feel like.
- 27:56Speaker 4: His money is their money, and their money is his
- 27:58Speaker 4: money and her money and all the things. Right, So
- 28:00Speaker 4: it's just like you're just treating yourself on the foots
- 28:03Speaker 4: all right.
- 28:04Speaker 3: I was just trying to create balance in the universe,
- 28:06Speaker 3: that's all. I wasn't trying to oppose the idea of
- 28:09Speaker 3: driving all of the petrol to zero and then parking
- 28:12Speaker 3: the car. I would say, if there's another scenario with
- 28:14Speaker 3: a boyfriend can get his own back, I would say,
- 28:16Speaker 3: shampoo conditioner. In fact, hold on, use her serum whoa, whoa,
- 28:22Speaker 3: and then you leave. Yeah, I know a little bit
- 28:25Speaker 3: in the little you know when you can't because erum
- 28:28Speaker 3: has a little dropper. When you you use it until
- 28:31Speaker 3: the dropper can't reach it anymore. Yep, then you have
- 28:35Speaker 3: to break that thing open.
- 28:36Speaker 2: This is what I was trying to say.
- 28:38Speaker 4: Yes, equality, but technically it's both of your money. He's
- 28:42Speaker 4: using all the money on fuel, and now you wonder
- 28:44Speaker 4: why it doesn't take you out as much.
- 28:49Speaker 2: Because he's got no money for food.
- 28:51Speaker 3: We are just creating equality. We want peace.
- 28:55Speaker 2: You just want peace. I want not problem.
- 29:02Speaker 3: Okay, talking about problems. Here is another one. That individuals
- 29:06Speaker 3: would like us to hear.
- 29:07Speaker 6: Good diamonds and we listen and we don't jug Uh.
- 29:14Speaker 6: This goes to all the parents who walks their children
- 29:20Speaker 6: to school in the morning, to please please stop walking
- 29:26Speaker 6: your kids while it's doing pajamas in the morning. Cowns
- 29:31Speaker 6: some of the p jamas in the morning towns, they
- 29:34Speaker 6: look like they need to acid or cheek colors of
- 29:37Speaker 6: chi so that they'll come back to their original color.
- 29:42Speaker 2: A few feet and turkey to counts is what he said.
- 29:51Speaker 3: That's a good that's a fair face subtitle for that
- 29:54Speaker 3: test exactly.
- 29:55Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 29:56Speaker 3: You know when you know, when Miki starts to look
- 29:58Speaker 3: like a dog and on the pajamas, you know what
- 30:01Speaker 3: I'm saying. You know what I'm saying, when it's sort
- 30:04Speaker 3: of like another animal, because it's that failed.
- 30:06Speaker 2: You know, it starts, Oh, I love that new beige
- 30:08Speaker 2: color you're wearing. You're like, this is a white down.
- 30:10Speaker 4: Yep, this is a white what do you mean beige?
- 30:15Speaker 3: And you're walking straight to school with that, because you know,
- 30:18Speaker 3: I do see it in the morning, and I mean,
- 30:20Speaker 3: don't I don't judge it. I think maybe it's just
- 30:22Speaker 3: practical for said parent to go and quickly walk the
- 30:25Speaker 3: kids to school instead of the parent getting completely done
- 30:28Speaker 3: and then wasting time and the kids said later, I
- 30:30Speaker 3: get the rush in the morning. But yeah, A good
- 30:32Speaker 3: point of it that it would be nice. So I
- 30:34Speaker 3: mean at least a clean pjs and gone?
- 30:38Speaker 2: Perhaps?
- 30:39Speaker 3: Is that essentially what is insinuated in that voice?
- 30:42Speaker 2: Note you know, I just think some things are made
- 30:44Speaker 2: for home.
- 30:46Speaker 8: True, because this does go a step further because I've
- 30:50Speaker 8: seen it, like the same thing goes for don't go
- 30:54Speaker 8: within your pajamas to the shop.
- 30:56Speaker 2: Yes, some things are for at home.
- 31:00Speaker 3: Mm hmm.
- 31:00Speaker 2: You should not be able to leave your house in
- 31:02Speaker 2: your slowies. Sure that's for the home. Wow, those are
- 31:06Speaker 2: your inside shoes.
- 31:08Speaker 3: So you have inside shoes inside clothes and where they're outside.
- 31:10Speaker 4: Yes, I feel the outside germs don't get on the
- 31:12Speaker 4: inside bringure.
- 31:13Speaker 3: It's a bit closest. I think it's closest for you
- 31:17Speaker 3: to say that. I think if somebody is comfortable enough
- 31:20Speaker 3: to gu outside and their pj's, this allow them to
- 31:23Speaker 3: do that. I mean, who said the pajamas need to
- 31:25Speaker 3: be worn at sleep time? I think they are still
- 31:28Speaker 3: covering the bits that need to be covered when you're outside.
- 31:31Speaker 3: I know that some people they still go to the
- 31:33Speaker 3: beach in a brown and panty and our j's in
- 31:38Speaker 3: the road. So I mean, there's there's a bit of
- 31:41Speaker 3: dichotomy there isn't there. I get it, okay.
- 31:45Speaker 4: But my feelings are my feelings, and if they're inside
- 31:47Speaker 4: slowy fits, then then the inside slowy fits.
- 31:51Speaker 3: I'm just stirring the colds and nice.
- 31:54Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 31:54Speaker 3: We never have time for hours today. I was just
- 31:57Speaker 3: I actually said one to Petris over the weekend around
- 31:59Speaker 3: my and it was more of a hypothesis. It wasn't
- 32:02Speaker 3: really like a we listener we don't judge moment, But
- 32:04Speaker 3: I just said that I came to this conclusion that
- 32:08Speaker 3: if you weren't sort of born in November or nine
- 32:12Speaker 3: months from New Year's Eve, Christmas, Spring Day and those
- 32:18Speaker 3: sorts of days where I suppose conception is probably more planned,
- 32:24Speaker 3: then you're likely to be an unplanned child. Yeah, I mean, so,
- 32:29Speaker 3: I mean you and I were born in June.
- 32:31Speaker 2: No, my mom told me I was unplanned.
- 32:33Speaker 3: Oh, your parents. For a large part of my life,
- 32:37Speaker 3: my parents were like no, my boy, no, no, no,
- 32:39Speaker 3: you were planned. And then my older brother was telling
- 32:41Speaker 3: me like, no, you weren't you came. You came as
- 32:45Speaker 3: a surprise, and I was angry that you were born.
- 32:48Speaker 3: You know what I mean exactly why were you there?
- 32:52Speaker 3: And I'm like, sure, but how was my younger brothers?
- 32:54Speaker 3: Was the feel because that man then wasn't even like
- 32:56Speaker 3: what was that?
- 32:57Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 32:58Speaker 3: Then there was there was around that, but I just
- 33:01Speaker 3: thought that as a hypothesis if you weren't sort of
- 33:03Speaker 3: born around nine months from key dates like, for instance,
- 33:06Speaker 3: Valentine's Day, likely November births, you know what I mean,
- 33:09Speaker 3: around that time. And on it goes with if.
- 33:11Speaker 2: You want a scorpio, you're a mistake.
- 33:15Speaker 8: You're I feel librettacked.
- 33:22Speaker 2: You know, I didn't want to.
- 33:24Speaker 3: I want I wanted it to come out softer than that.
- 33:27Speaker 2: Okay, I wanted to be.
- 33:28Speaker 3: Softer because personally, as a Gemini, I like to look
- 33:35Speaker 3: on the gem of things, not the other side. But
- 33:38Speaker 3: you went straight to the other side there. I'm just saying,
- 33:40Speaker 3: you know why, Sorry, Beetrice. I just you know, you
- 33:45Speaker 3: looked at me and you look like you agreed with
- 33:46Speaker 3: me on the weekend at the leap your party.
- 33:48Speaker 8: Right now, so you know what happened after the Leapier parties,
- 33:51Speaker 8: Me and husband. We're driving home calculations and I'm like
- 33:55Speaker 8: driving and I'm doing the math in my head. I'm like, yeah,
- 33:57Speaker 8: I wasn't planned. I was an I planned birth.
- 34:05Speaker 3: So did you rewind?
- 34:06Speaker 2: Yes?
- 34:06Speaker 3: But also when you rewind, check that none of your
- 34:08Speaker 3: parents had a birthday, because that's also okay, they didn't.
- 34:11Speaker 2: Oh so there's no birthday.
- 34:12Speaker 3: So if you rewind, did you rewind from your birthday?
- 34:15Speaker 3: Which day did you get to around?
- 34:16Speaker 8: But it was like towards like from the twenty fifth
- 34:20Speaker 8: of jan around there nine months.
- 34:22Speaker 3: That still makes sense. There was no money, they had
- 34:25Speaker 3: to do something.
- 34:27Speaker 2: Or no TV.
- 34:28Speaker 8: I mean TV only came out like four years before
- 34:31Speaker 8: I was born, so.
- 34:33Speaker 2: To make their own entertainments. Did you check?
- 34:35Speaker 3: Did you check our dates as well? Fascinating Halloween that's
- 34:41Speaker 3: still gonna cut No, it was no.
- 34:43Speaker 2: No.
- 34:44Speaker 3: Anyway, if you just do the reverse date thing and
- 34:47Speaker 3: find out where about it happening, start thinking about what
- 34:50Speaker 3: was happening around your conception, it's actually quite a fun thing.
- 34:52Speaker 3: Like I was thinking maybe Halloween around that finas do
- 34:55Speaker 3: like a Halloween ish or maybe before you know, because
- 34:58Speaker 3: like end of September.
- 35:00Speaker 2: Who was my dad's birthday?
- 35:02Speaker 1: Here we go.

- 36:38Speaker 3: to offend, of course, because we listen, we don't judge,
- 36:41Speaker 3: of course. And I mean you agreed that what I
- 36:44Speaker 3: said around.
- 36:46Speaker 4: If there's no actual day, if there's no yes, then
- 36:49Speaker 4: you plan are Yeah, that was it right. It's also

- 36:55Speaker 4: a planned thing.
- 36:57Speaker 2: Yes, totally. Your parents kept you.
- 36:59Speaker 3: So there was somebody of the message in saying call

- 37:05Speaker 3: I feel like I was made out of love? I
- 37:08Speaker 3: was made in my dad's birthday month January. My mom
- 37:11Speaker 3: had nothing to gift but love because Vien health in
- 37:17Speaker 3: January born nine October.
- 37:20Speaker 2: You see, that's what I said to Beetrice.
- 37:22Speaker 3: You know he was, you know he there was nothing
- 37:24Speaker 3: else to provide in that moment, which makes a lot
- 37:28Speaker 3: of sense, Okay, And then a couple of others mentioning
- 37:31Speaker 3: this here you go.
- 37:33Speaker 2: Carl Cassidy Petris, it looks like I was an April

- 37:47Speaker 3: what you were. Okay, right, Just want to calm everybody's
- 37:51Speaker 3: nerves done though, because you know, the great thing is,
- 37:53Speaker 3: I know everyone in their car and they're counting backwards
- 37:55Speaker 3: from their birthday to nine months to see what was there?
- 37:58Speaker 3: Was there a festival? Was it Woodstock?
- 38:01Speaker 2: Was it?
- 38:01Speaker 7: This?
- 38:02Speaker 3: Was it that? I mean, it's actually quite fun to
- 38:04Speaker 3: see what is happening before And like I, I still
- 38:07Speaker 3: yet to ask my folks, like, what what happened September?
- 38:09Speaker 3: End of September on that time?
- 38:12Speaker 4: Ers check if maybe it's like onto our uncle, you know,
- 38:15Speaker 4: one of them have a birthday or maybe I don't know,

- 53:45Speaker 4: We will celebrate those according to tomorrow whose birthday it
- 53:50Speaker 4: is today? Because I feel like we need to take

- 54:09Speaker 4: Tomorrow, But we do Jay Biebes Okay, happy birthday, kesha
- 54:13Speaker 4: for yesterday.
- 54:14Speaker 3: Oh okay dollar sign. Huh happy birthday? Sorry, I mean
- 54:19Speaker 3: put some respect on my name.
- 54:21Speaker 2: I had to.
- 54:22Speaker 3: It's actually the late James vander Beek that said that
- 54:25Speaker 3: in one of the clips.
- 54:26Speaker 2: Really.
- 54:26Speaker 3: Yeah, so there's another little connection. Okay, we're doing a
- 54:31Speaker 3: late birthday message to Justin Bieber. Listen out for the
- 54:34Speaker 3: song titles. Give us the full talley afterwards. On the
- 54:37Speaker 3: WhatsApp line, silence.
- 54:43Speaker 2: What it's just you, you and you know this. You
- 54:48Speaker 2: know this.
- 54:50Speaker 4: You ruined songs for Wow in the best way possible.
- 54:54Speaker 2: Well, and Louis exactly.
- 54:58Speaker 4: There's a few others that you've said things I can't
- 55:01Speaker 4: say on air, but.
- 55:02Speaker 3: Bacon eggs, bacon eggs in a grand song?
- 55:07Speaker 2: Right, yes, thank you?
- 55:08Speaker 4: Next, but this one right So, I'm in Joe Burgh
- 55:12Speaker 4: and I hear the song come on, and I'm like, no, man,
- 55:16Speaker 4: I had to lock in because I wanted to hear
- 55:20Speaker 4: if the DJ who was playing this knew the perfect
- 55:23Speaker 4: moment during the pause the.
- 55:33Speaker 1: Flash drive.
- 55:37Speaker 3: It's not that it's really not kosher. And Limberger, thank
- 55:41Speaker 3: you very much for adding that gap for us to
- 55:43Speaker 3: fall because.
- 55:45Speaker 2: So many people get the timing wrong.
- 55:47Speaker 3: Yeah, they do, yeah, because they want to come in
- 55:49Speaker 3: there and then they get they get bashed by the
- 55:51Speaker 3: song exact shame.
- 55:53Speaker 2: Man.
- 55:53Speaker 3: They come in there, they think they think they got it,
- 55:55Speaker 3: and we at this part of a year, just at
- 55:57Speaker 3: the end here.
- 55:58Speaker 11: So it's like that silence, this is so that never mind, yep,
- 56:09Speaker 11: that's whatever.
- 56:10Speaker 2: The song comes on and I'm like in.
- 56:13Speaker 4: And around town, I'm like, okay, long in is this
- 56:16Speaker 4: DJ going to be able to get it right?
- 56:18Speaker 3: Oh?
- 56:18Speaker 11: Well?
- 56:19Speaker 3: The intention from DJ Coshnimburga was for that to stay
- 56:22Speaker 3: empty because of the silence silence, But what they didn't
- 56:26Speaker 3: know is how much they make DJ's pop whoever plays
- 56:29Speaker 3: that and on the show, Because can I tell you
- 56:31Speaker 3: I've told you this before Goodness for bid. You go
- 56:33Speaker 3: to the bathroom during that song and that speak at
- 56:36Speaker 3: you outside, that's giving you monitoring and you are in
- 56:38Speaker 3: the midst of a one or a two, you know,
- 56:41Speaker 3: and that happens and you're like, oh my word, you
- 56:43Speaker 3: know how quick? Can I tell you?
- 56:44Speaker 2: That's how you learn how you got to get done quick?
- 56:46Speaker 2: Because you're like the song is over and then it gives.
- 56:48Speaker 3: You just that little sticky left that you you learn
- 56:50Speaker 3: your capacity, which is the capacity to CANape very quickly,
- 56:54Speaker 3: and you have to run back and then the song
- 56:56Speaker 3: continues to anyway we digress. This is the fast drive
- 56:59Speaker 3: Cave ninety four point five. Psychology is coming up, and
- 57:02Speaker 3: I want you to be a part of that. This
- 57:04Speaker 3: is just a little taste of what we do in psychology.
- 57:06Speaker 3: Sometimes we have a bit of a direction for you.
- 57:09Speaker 3: Others we just we get a bit free and just
- 57:11Speaker 3: give you a chance to express yourself.
- 57:14Speaker 2: Will you play me not?
- 57:16Speaker 3: Switch the hits at six psychology.
- 57:19Speaker 8: Addition, Carlic asked you today has been a busy rough day.
- 57:25Speaker 4: It's been chaos on my way to the gym.
- 57:27Speaker 3: Look, I know it's been a rough day, but you're
- 57:29Speaker 3: going to the gym, and that means you're going to
- 57:31Speaker 3: go run at the gym. Good cardio is always fantastic.
- 57:39Speaker 1: Switch the hits at six with Calway.
- 57:42Speaker 3: What I was going to get you, I call sky
- 57:44Speaker 3: full of Stars gold blow Set me right up. Switch
- 57:52Speaker 3: the hits at six.
- 57:53Speaker 2: I mean some psychologist with.
- 57:59Speaker 3: Five side that is psychology. So I would like to
- 58:03Speaker 3: psychologiize somebody who was absent and let's find out what
- 58:08Speaker 3: is the problem for once and for all, why were
- 58:10Speaker 3: you absent Thursday, Friday, even Saturday's leap your party? We
- 58:15Speaker 3: were here on Sunday, you weren't.
- 58:17Speaker 2: So time to reveal the truth.
- 58:20Speaker 4: I go home on Wednesday night, yes, and my mouth
- 58:24Speaker 4: starts bleeding, I like out of the blue, and I'm like, okay,
- 58:29Speaker 4: I need to go to the emergency room because I
- 58:32Speaker 4: had felt like my I had like a headache coming on.
- 58:35Speaker 4: I had an earache, like my face was starting to
- 58:38Speaker 4: go numb, and I was just like, okay, but it
- 58:41Speaker 4: was one of those pains that you can kind of.
- 58:43Speaker 2: Like avoid for a little bit. Yes, but it was
- 58:45Speaker 2: just in the background.
- 58:46Speaker 4: And then when the bleeding started, I was like, okay,
- 58:48Speaker 4: now I need to go to the emergency room.
- 58:50Speaker 2: Turns out I have on absence and I don't know.
- 58:54Speaker 3: All the banks you could have chosen. You have an absence? Stop?
- 58:59Speaker 3: Did you not have anything more standard? I'm just no,
- 59:02Speaker 3: not at all.
- 59:02Speaker 4: And the discovery of the abscess was crazy as well.
- 59:05Speaker 3: Oh my goodness, like kind of first national in the beginning,
- 59:08Speaker 3: or do you just release it after that or what?
- 59:10Speaker 7: No?
- 59:11Speaker 4: So I was I kind of I kind of knew
- 59:14Speaker 4: that it was going to come on because I did
- 59:16Speaker 4: what no man should do.
- 59:18Speaker 3: What happened?
- 59:19Speaker 2: I ate popcorn?
- 59:20Speaker 3: Oh, and then I think those things get stuck and stayed.
- 59:23Speaker 4: If you if I'm a dentist and I want to
- 59:26Speaker 4: make money, yep, I will.
- 59:28Speaker 2: I will start a popcorn brand.
- 59:30Speaker 4: You know what I mean, like big farmers stuck in
- 59:32Speaker 4: there and you think you've got it out anyway, So
- 59:34Speaker 4: I had to go to the emergency room and and
- 59:38Speaker 4: then I find they they had to take like a
- 59:40Speaker 4: partial of my two thousand and all this stuff. And
- 59:42Speaker 4: then they found that there was like a lodging of the.
- 59:46Speaker 3: Popcorn popcorn the kernel. So they found a kernel in
- 59:49Speaker 3: your teeth, yes, and.
- 59:50Speaker 4: Basically it caused an infection. And yeah, so I've got
- 59:54Speaker 4: an abscess. And the pain was just so severe that
- 59:57Speaker 4: I was like, oh I'm fine at nine am. Come
- 59:59Speaker 4: like sorry, five past nine, I'm on the floor in pain, crying.
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: Colonel in your teeth. People have this problem in KFC
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: all the time. And I just want to tell you
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: that I understand and I'm here for you.
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: Thank you, Yes, I am.
- 1:00:14Speaker 3: I have a few songs that I would like to
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: choose for you. Okay, first and foremost, what happened to you?
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: Your mouth is terrible. My first option would be smash mouth.
- 1:00:26Speaker 3: I'm a believer that you will come out of this
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: all right. The next one, I would say that if
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: you had any of the problems in your mouth area,
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: that at least you could clear your throat. But given
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: the severity of what happened in the initial stages, I
- 1:00:42Speaker 3: would highly recommend Leona come. I feel like this is
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: more soothing for you because it really gets you. The
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: song gets you. Well.
- 1:00:56Speaker 4: Listen, Leona Lewis is actually number one on my period,
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: so I'd much rather prefer the second one.
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: Which would be the no problem. If I can squeeze
- 1:01:09Speaker 3: that in with my other clients today. I'd be very
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: happy to.
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: Thank you so much.
- 1:01:12Speaker 4: I really appreciate the session. It feels good to get
- 1:01:14Speaker 4: it off my chest, or at least out of my mouth.
- 1:01:16Speaker 3: No, that's fantastic. I'm sorry to hear but the absence,
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: but I'm very happy to you know, just help you
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: deposit some positivity into your life before you get any
- 1:01:24Speaker 3: withdrawal symptoms from this particular session. Tomorrow, all right, so
- 1:01:27Speaker 3: I just want to let you know I would want
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: you to go into overdraft because remember, you don't do
- 1:01:31Speaker 3: this thing alone. Yeah, I'm with you. It's over to you.
- 1:01:35Speaker 3: Tier A two nine four five zero nine four zero.
- 1:01:38Speaker 3: What is that We don't have a problem. I want
- 1:01:40Speaker 3: to dance with somebody I always do, and I want
- 1:01:43Speaker 3: to dance with you on Thursday. I'm not sure if
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: you know about our little pregame party. It's no secret,
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: but I think I want to talk to you like
- 1:01:50Speaker 3: it's a secret. It's just let's talk for a second. Okay.
- 1:01:53Speaker 3: If this is your first time, welcome to k from
- 1:01:54Speaker 3: ninety four point five the flash Drive weekdays three to
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: seven pm. My name is Carl Wasted. This Cassidy Jade Nicholson.
- 1:02:01Speaker 3: So let's talk as if this is the biggest kept secret. Now,
- 1:02:05Speaker 3: for those Cassidy who would like to be at Galaxy KD,
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: they went to ticket Master and they went to go
- 1:02:11Speaker 3: grab a ticket. Now it's not just any old ticket.
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: This is also a ticket for you to apply to
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: be on a guest This for a very special pregame party.
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: Now, when we say pre game, I'm.
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: Talking about something that is it's special in that you
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: get to rub shoulders. Not that he'll allow you to
- 1:02:29Speaker 3: rub the shoulders, but I mean sometimes he is like
- 1:02:31Speaker 3: that he will allow you, Youngster CPT. I know Grandmaster
- 1:02:35Speaker 3: ready D loves a shoulder rub anywhere he does right,
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: especially while he's playing.
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: He enjoys it.
- 1:02:40Speaker 3: But you could be rubbing shoulders with those two individuals
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: plus some of your favorite KFM ninety four point five
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: presenters at the Radison Red. We're doing a rooftop pregame
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: party to get people emotionally, psychologically and physically ready for
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: Galaxy KD at Sandringham Farm in the twenty eighth of March,
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: So picture this. We are doing the show live from
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: there by the way three to seven pm. So I'll
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: be honest with you, there are a lot of distractions
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: going around, but we will be there and it's going
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: to be some of the most fun moments that we
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: would have ever had in our lives, but ahead of
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: the biggest moment, which is on the twenty eighth of March.
- 1:03:17Speaker 3: So get your tickets as soon as possible and be
- 1:03:20Speaker 3: a part of it. It's going to be really great
- 1:03:22Speaker 3: to have people there. Yeah, since it's a pregame party.
- 1:03:26Speaker 4: These types of things, you know, you go to a festival,
- 1:03:28Speaker 4: you go to a party, These are the kinds of
- 1:03:30Speaker 4: ideas that you come up with and you're like, wouldn't
- 1:03:32Speaker 4: it have been great if there was like an afters
- 1:03:35Speaker 4: or like a pregame where you can kind of get
- 1:03:37Speaker 4: ready and it's and we give you these opportunities, you know,
- 1:03:41Speaker 4: we give you these situations that you can find yourself
- 1:03:45Speaker 4: in so you don't have to have it just be
- 1:03:46Speaker 4: a conversation. It can be a reality. And you know what,
- 1:03:49Speaker 4: don't come to us when it's late and say, listen.
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: I'm prepared for that, are you.
- 1:03:56Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: I am, okay, I'm prepared for the dms because yeah.
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: Well they say I've already started getting dms, by.
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: The way, But I think what I what I'm fascinated
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: by is the type of innovation that comes into the DNS.
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: What I mean by that is that some people say,
- 1:04:16Speaker 3: I tried to get the tickets at work on a
- 1:04:18Speaker 3: work PC and then the internet dropped at the point
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: of me getting the tickets, so I thought I had
- 1:04:23Speaker 3: the tickets, but I didn't. And now I'm a day
- 1:04:26Speaker 3: away and I promise this to my kids, call so
- 1:04:29Speaker 3: help me out. The innovation in that is truly, I'm.
- 1:04:33Speaker 4: Just saying, don't be surprised when they're sold out.
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: Is what I'm trying to say, we're heading that way
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: with children and the hospitality package.
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: We haven't.
- 1:04:41Speaker 4: I can't the powers that may, I can't help you
- 1:04:45Speaker 4: if the tickets are sold out. If there's forty seats,
- 1:04:47Speaker 4: says forty seats, and then there's no more seats left,
- 1:04:49Speaker 4: and then you're asking me for food for another seats
- 1:04:52Speaker 4: in the forty seats section.
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: There's no more seats. It's at capacity.
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: Do you know I had one person asking me for
