  Speaker 1: come unto the knowledge of the truth. They come unto

  Speaker 1: the the knowledge of the truth. God is so determined

  Speaker 1: to see that believers come unto the knowledge of the

  Speaker 1: truth to the point that he invented a strategy within

  Speaker 1: the body to ensure and insist that believers come into

  Speaker 1: that comprehension. It was a strategy that God invented as

  Speaker 1: his commitment to seeing that all those who are saved

  Speaker 1: today Also become people of knowledge. The Bible says. In

  Speaker 1: gifts to men. Giving some apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. Why?

  Speaker 1: For the maturing. The word perfecting is the word maturing.

  Speaker 1: Of the saints. That the saints in their maturity will

  Speaker 1: do the work of the ministry. And for the edifying

  Speaker 1: of the body of Christ. Verse 13. He says until

  Speaker 1: we come to a state in the spirit called the

  Speaker 1: unity of faith. And of the knowledge of the son

  Speaker 1: of God. unto a perfect man, and unto the measure

  Speaker 1: of the stature of the fullness of Christ. Men can

  Speaker 1: evolve to come into the fullness of Christ. And yesterday

  Speaker 1: I began to challenge us, if you recall, that the

  Speaker 1: destiny of every believer in Christ is to evolve until

  Speaker 1: you become a living manifestation of the glory of God.

  Speaker 1: to be a doctor. Not just to be an engineer.

  Speaker 1: All of those are just geographies of your witness. But

  Speaker 1: your destiny. Your prophetic destiny in Christ. Is that you

  Speaker 1: become a manifestation of the glory of God. Your life

  Speaker 1: becomes a display. Of the multifaceted dimension of God. Ephesians

  Speaker 1: 2 and verse 10. He says to the intent, we

  Speaker 1: are his workmanship, it says, created in Christ Jesus unto

  Speaker 1: good works, it says, which God had before ordained that
• 15:20
  Speaker 1: we should work in them. So there is an ordination
• 15:24
  Speaker 1: for every believer in Christ that we should work in

  Speaker 1: certain dimensions. Ephesians 3 and verse 10, it says, now

  Speaker 1: to the intent that unto principalities and powers of In

  Speaker 1: heavenly places might be made known by the church, the manifold,
• 15:43
  Speaker 1: multi-sided wisdom of God. Hallelujah. Now, in acquiring spiritual knowledge,

  Speaker 1: please listen. In acquiring spiritual knowledge, not every spiritual information
• 15:58
  Speaker 1: is useful for your growth. It is important that you

  Speaker 1: understand this. Just because the information is spiritual, does not
• 16:07
  Speaker 1: mean it adds up to your growth. There are many
• 16:11
  Speaker 1: spiritual information that are not within the curriculum of the
• 16:16
  Speaker 1: believer's growth. It is not everything spiritual that we have
• 16:21
  Speaker 1: been mandated to learn. The realm of the spirit is
• 16:24
  Speaker 1: a vast realm with so many dimensions of knowledge. And
• 16:29
  Speaker 1: some of this knowledge are profitable for your excelling, Some
• 16:35
  Speaker 1: of this knowledge are detrimental to your growth. Are we
• 16:39
  Speaker 1: together now? It is not every kind of spiritual knowledge
• 16:43
  Speaker 1: that is for the consumption of the believer. The same
• 16:46
  Speaker 1: way it is not every kind of tree you find around.
• 16:50
  Speaker 1: It's not every kind of food you find around that
• 16:52
  Speaker 1: you eat. Just because it looks edible does not mean
• 16:56
  Speaker 1: it is healthy for your consumption. Am I right on that?

  Speaker 1: There are certain fruits that look beautiful, look wonderful, and

  Speaker 1: once you want to touch them, a nutritionist or an
• 17:07
  Speaker 1: agriculturist will hit your hand and say, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

  Speaker 1: Don't touch that fruit. It looks beautiful, but the moment

  Speaker 1: you take it, you are dead in minutes. They use
• 17:16
  Speaker 1: some of those trees to extract poison and all kinds
• 17:21
  Speaker 1: of things from them. This is how it is with
• 17:23
  Speaker 1: the realm of the spirit. There are many believers right
• 17:27
  Speaker 1: now who in their pursuit For knowledge. Have doubled into
• 17:31
  Speaker 1: a lot of things. And our generation is a generation
• 17:35
  Speaker 1: that has such a great appetite for knowledge. And that
• 17:39
  Speaker 1: is very important. While that is commendable on one hand.
• 17:43
  Speaker 1: Many people have delved into all kinds of knowledge. And
• 17:46
  Speaker 1: believe me when I tell you. In this work I
• 17:49
  Speaker 1: have met a few people. Who have become what is
• 17:52
  Speaker 1: not like Christ. And it was knowledge that made them
• 17:56
  Speaker 1: become like that. There were two trees in the garden
• 17:58
  Speaker 1: of Eden. The first was called the tree of life.

  Speaker 1: The second was called the tree of the knowledge of
• 18:04
  Speaker 1: good and evil. Both good and evil were connected in
• 18:07
  Speaker 1: that tree. So when you ate of the second tree,

  Speaker 1: whatever prophetic significance eating means in that sense, you partook
• 18:16
  Speaker 1: of that tree, there would be some good in it.

  Speaker 1: But with it would come a dangerous side effect.

  Speaker 1: Are we together? There are people who have read books.

  Speaker 1: There are people who have encountered spirits that have downloaded

  Speaker 1: certain information. And upon acting on those information, they found

  Speaker 1: themselves becoming more antichrist. I know people who have been

  Speaker 1: held bound in hospitals simply because they started acquiring certain
• 18:43
  Speaker 1: kinds of knowledge from spirits. Are we together now? Most

  Speaker 1: of the pseudo, with all due respect, the pseudo Christian
• 18:53
  Speaker 1: expressions and errors today have come because people pursued knowledge.

  Speaker 1: They were open to the realm of the spirit and

  Speaker 1: they consumed just everything they found. Knowledge is food. What

  Speaker 1: food does to your body is what knowledge does to

  Speaker 1: your spirit. What food does to your body is what

  Speaker 1: light knowledge does to your spirit. The Bible says for

  Speaker 1: a man to live effectively, he lives by food and words.

  Speaker 1: A man cannot live by food alone. It says man

  Speaker 1: shall not live by bread alone, but by every word.

  Speaker 1: So men live by food, but they also live by words.

  Speaker 1: They live by information. They live by light. Is God

  Speaker 1: helping someone already? So most believers have doubled into all

  Speaker 1: kinds of things. I remember many years ago, true story.

  Speaker 1: Then I was in Zaria. And after service, this group

  Speaker 1: of fine young men just come to me. And while

  Speaker 1: counseling people. And one of them stood very bold, very audacious,

  Speaker 1: very confident. And I'm looking at this gentleman. I'm saying, wow,

  Speaker 1: this must be a very fine young man. Man of God.

  Speaker 1: And then I see two people across and then I say, okay,

  Speaker 1: so what can I pray for you for? True story.

  Speaker 1: Then he looks at me and says, well, I am

  Speaker 1: me now, Joshua Selman. They said, I am John the Baptist.

  Speaker 1: And that that gentleman standing is Jesus. True story. If

  Speaker 1: I'm joking, I will tell you I'm joking. And that

  Speaker 1: they came to replicate what happened in scripture. I thought

  Speaker 1: they were joking, you know, just I laughed it over,

  Speaker 1: but I found out they were serious. The other guy

  Speaker 1: that stood there was, I don't know whether it was

  Speaker 1: John or something. I mean it literally. A replica of

  Speaker 1: these disciples. And that young man stood boldly. He was not,

  Speaker 1: I mean he just came and said, Look, do what

  Speaker 1: John did to Jesus and let me leave. And then

  Speaker 1: I looked at them immediately. I discerned that something had

  Speaker 1: gone wrong. These gentlemen were sincere. Either they were wrongly mentored.

  Speaker 1: Or they were exposed to wrong knowledge. Just because it

  Speaker 1: is in the Bible does not mean it is the

  Speaker 1: word of God. Listen and learn. This Bible is a

  Speaker 1: compendium of the speakings of many, many, many, many spirits.

  Speaker 1: from their backslidden state. In this Bible, the spirit of

  Speaker 1: hedonistic king spoke. There are three layers to scripture. If

  Speaker 1: The first layer of scripture is called a historic and

  Speaker 1: an archaeological layer. So in the most basic form, the

  Speaker 1: Bible is a book of archaeology and history. You don't

  Speaker 1: have to be born again to read the Bible. You

  Speaker 1: can read the Bible as an interesting capture of historic events.

  Speaker 1: And it will give you historic enlightenment, archaeological enlightenment. There

  Speaker 1: are people today who are not godly, but have had

  Speaker 1: to make reference to Bible information in writing their PhD thesis.

  Speaker 1: It has nothing to do with spirituality. Are we together?

  Speaker 1: spirit called doctrine then number three there is a prophetic

  Speaker 1: conditions for any body of knowledge to become a doctrine.

  Speaker 1: Number one, it must be represented in the Old Testament.

  Speaker 1: Number two, it must be captured within the ministry of Jesus.

  Speaker 1: Number three, it must be practiced by the early apostles.

  Speaker 1: If it does not pass through these three tests, it

  Speaker 1: cannot be called a doctrine. Doesn't mean it is error,

  Speaker 1: to teach you. So there are three kinds of error

  Speaker 1: doctrine of demons. So the first dimension is Or the

  Speaker 1: first error in the body of Christ today is called

  Speaker 1: the error of apostasy. A deviation from the precepts of God.

  Speaker 1: Teaching the doctrine of demons. You don't have to be

  Speaker 1: demonic to teach the doctrine of demons. You just have

  Speaker 1: to be mentored along the lines of the doctrine of demons.

  Speaker 1: Are we together? You can be very sincere but be

  Speaker 1: a victim of the kind of mentorship platform you were

  Speaker 1: part of. So apostasy. Number two. The second error that

  Speaker 1: error of imbalance. Exaggerating truth beyond the scope of their

  Speaker 1: spiritual relevance. Just because it is truth in the Bible

  Speaker 1: scripture occupies are we together now sanctify them by your
