- 0:19Speaker 3: Team?
- 0:19Speaker 1: How's everyone?
- 0:20Speaker 3: Oh?
- 0:21Speaker 1: So good?
- 0:22Speaker 3: Speen ages, spreen you days and days I've seen you. Yeah,
- 0:28Speaker 3: it was really nice. It's a great Cilly Melbourne. You
- 0:30Speaker 3: don't really like it.
- 0:31Speaker 2: You're not cracked me out there because you put a
- 0:32Speaker 2: nice photo of you in your family.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Yeah, and I was cracking up.
- 0:35Speaker 2: I was like, you got this nice photo of Jason's
- 0:37Speaker 2: family to my wife and then she was like, it's
- 0:38Speaker 2: a nice photo. I was like, yeah, Hood's got his
- 0:41Speaker 2: Bouge T shirt and his rebururgerhead off.
- 0:45Speaker 1: I tell you what.
- 0:47Speaker 3: By surprise, it was fucking hot. Yeah. But like even
- 0:51Speaker 3: even the girls were like, Jesus.
- 0:53Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying about. When we're there for Magic Ground,
- 0:56Speaker 2: there's a drought thing coming el Nina, one of the Nino's.
- 1:00Speaker 2: It's heading drift, but it's going to be uncharacteristically hot.
- 1:05Speaker 3: Well, we we sort of pat kind of thinking it
- 1:08Speaker 3: might be a bit chilly, but we're talking twenty seven
- 1:11Speaker 3: twenty eight degrees.
- 1:12Speaker 2: Right, so it's gonna be a bit chilly, a bit
- 1:13Speaker 2: of put my reburgerhead.
- 1:14Speaker 3: And yeah, but it was good. Melbourne's a great city.
- 1:19Speaker 3: I like it a lot.
- 1:20Speaker 1: That was a wedding.
- 1:23Speaker 3: It was good, man, it was good. It was really good.
- 1:27Speaker 1: It was it was good.
- 1:30Speaker 3: I had classic, classic mate whose wedding it was?
- 1:35Speaker 2: Can we say?
- 1:36Speaker 3: It is? About an hour before we left to come
- 1:40Speaker 3: to the wedding, he said, he texted me or messaged
- 1:43Speaker 3: me and said can you give a speech?
- 1:45Speaker 2: And I was like, are you fucking serious?
- 1:49Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:50Speaker 2: I suppose so, man, Why am I not surprised by that?
- 1:52Speaker 1: And can I say, because he's a comedian, I'm assuming
- 1:57Speaker 1: he didn't have a wedding party? Did have?
- 2:00Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 2:01Speaker 1: Well, what do you mean by wedding the man you
- 2:05Speaker 1: were involved in that?
- 2:06Speaker 3: No, And because he didn't know if I was coming,
- 2:09Speaker 3: so he wanted me to be his best man. But
- 2:11Speaker 3: it's interesting he didn't know that I was coming and
- 2:15Speaker 3: didn't think that I would come.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Did you surprise him? No?
- 2:18Speaker 3: I let him know I was coming. They knew you
- 2:20Speaker 3: were coming quite late in the ticket though, And.
- 2:25Speaker 1: So you knew about it, but you let him know
- 2:27Speaker 1: late or late Well, I was undecided for a while,
- 2:32Speaker 1: were you? Yeah?
- 2:33Speaker 3: Yeah, And also part of the I don't want to
- 2:35Speaker 3: fucking do all the best man Edmund, you know, like
- 2:39Speaker 3: organized not for you, Jason, definitely. But also did he
- 2:45Speaker 3: have a staggy and he's in another he would have
- 2:47Speaker 3: had a filthy one. But also it was interesting because prostitutes,
- 2:53Speaker 3: because he's a comedian, A lot of comics there a
- 2:57Speaker 3: lot of comics.
- 2:58Speaker 2: You're still a speech to the comics, yeah.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Saying a lot of the comics did speeches.
- 3:03Speaker 1: Which was just did it just end up being a
- 3:08Speaker 1: roast of him to a degree, Yes it did.
- 3:12Speaker 3: But also I didn't realize I did my entire wedding
- 3:15Speaker 3: speech with my zip down.
- 3:18Speaker 1: He's doing a bit.
- 3:19Speaker 3: He was doing a bit deliberately and I'm talking like
- 3:23Speaker 3: fully down.
- 3:23Speaker 1: But you can get away with calling that a bit.
- 3:26Speaker 3: Ah and standing on the stairs, you know if everyone
- 3:29Speaker 3: just yeah, gaping.
- 3:30Speaker 2: I think God, what was in your speech?
- 3:34Speaker 3: It was gaping?
- 3:35Speaker 2: Did you talk about back in the good old days
- 3:36Speaker 2: when first met.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Nah, just how much you enjoyed these last few years
- 3:41Speaker 1: now that you're sort of growing apart.
- 3:42Speaker 2: Yeah, pretty much, and did you say some of your
- 3:44Speaker 2: favorite memories of his new partner.
- 3:47Speaker 3: Here's here's the other awkward side of it is that
- 3:50Speaker 3: I don't know his partner very well at all.
- 3:52Speaker 1: I've only met her once.
- 3:53Speaker 2: What's the name?
- 3:55Speaker 1: I'm not telling you. You mentioned the fact that he
- 4:00Speaker 1: asked you to do the speech now before? Yes? Good, Yeah,
- 4:03Speaker 1: that's easy money sack scene.
- 4:06Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, but for this particular person, it's no surprise
- 4:10Speaker 3: whatsoever you.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Were doing the speech, did you ask anyone in the order.
- 4:14Speaker 2: Did you sort of go to the audience of the
- 4:15Speaker 2: crowd work ask people what they did for a crust
- 4:18Speaker 2: and stuff?
- 4:18Speaker 1: No?
- 4:19Speaker 3: What because they wouldn't know what the fuck I was
- 4:21Speaker 3: talking about because they were all Aussies.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I thought you said they're all comedians. Well they're
- 4:25Speaker 1: all comedian. Ah.
- 4:27Speaker 3: You know Ray O'Leary, very funny guy. And coincidentally, because
- 4:32Speaker 3: I didn't know much about him, but.
- 4:34Speaker 1: I'm ray about Ray. Yeah, it's mad ass. He is very.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Funny and I the comedian.
- 4:40Speaker 3: This is before I met him at the wedding. I
- 4:42Speaker 3: was getting all these and suddenly, for some reason, all
- 4:45Speaker 3: of his Instagram claps and I was going, this guy's funny.
- 4:48Speaker 3: He's very good.
- 4:49Speaker 1: It's rare for you to accept that somebody else is funny.
- 4:52Speaker 1: And then he came up.
- 4:53Speaker 3: Then he came up to me. Well wait, let me explain.
- 4:56Speaker 3: He came up to me and was like a huge
- 4:59Speaker 3: chordy j Fan.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Warmed up to him. I've warmed to him.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Was he actually?
- 5:06Speaker 1: Yeah, he was, but he.
- 5:09Speaker 3: Knew from sugar and spice and all sorts, a lot
- 5:11Speaker 3: of shorts short.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Was he as a lot of him adjusting as glasses,
- 5:17Speaker 1: pushing those glasses.
- 5:17Speaker 4: No, he wasn't glasses, was he not? Now he was
- 5:23Speaker 4: stucky for someone else. And I and I Johnny when
- 5:26Speaker 4: he arrived. And we know how funny.
- 5:28Speaker 3: Because I've just been watching clips of this guy, heaps
- 5:30Speaker 3: of them, and here he is.
- 5:32Speaker 1: Could you recognize him without his glasses on? I did?
- 5:34Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:34Speaker 1: How do you guys like his comedy?
- 5:36Speaker 3: Because I think it's very good.
- 5:37Speaker 1: I have watched it, much of it, just a lot
- 5:39Speaker 1: of race based stuff that's not really I can see
- 5:42Speaker 1: why you like it.
- 5:43Speaker 2: Yeah, the whole Ky Big Show week days from four
- 5:47Speaker 2: on Radio Hurdarky, remember the Wacky Big Show podcast. No,
- 5:52Speaker 2: I haven't watched a lot of ray. The only time
- 5:54Speaker 2: I've seen him is he was on maybe a panel
- 5:56Speaker 2: show or something.
- 5:57Speaker 1: Didn't he I am a fan, just joking about the races,
- 6:00Speaker 1: did he?
- 6:01Speaker 3: He didn't?
- 6:02Speaker 1: He wasn't he.
- 6:05Speaker 3: And that was the other thing he was banging on about,
- 6:07Speaker 3: was insisting that I do Task Master. You'd be excellent,
- 6:11Speaker 3: and he was like, it's perfect for you, and I said,
- 6:14Speaker 3: I would hate it.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Would that's why you would be pervoct, because everything that
- 6:18Speaker 1: you have to do would start with you again, and
- 6:23Speaker 1: people would take great joy out of your misery.
- 6:26Speaker 2: I think I do think you would be brilliant on
- 6:29Speaker 2: that show, just because it'd be a shambles and I'd
- 6:31Speaker 2: be watching it like, oh my god, I feel like
- 6:32Speaker 2: I need to be there helping Jason with this task Well.
- 6:35Speaker 3: You know. Funnily enough, my agent asked me the other
- 6:37Speaker 3: day about this voiceover and stuff, and because because it's
- 6:41Speaker 3: just for this animation, and I was like, I've been
- 6:45Speaker 3: saying no to so much stuff that I felt bad.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Jase hasn't been getting any offers for anything.
- 6:53Speaker 3: Not off not offers like auditions and yeah, yeah, and
- 6:58Speaker 3: so for this particular thing, I went, yes, sure, sounds great,
- 7:01Speaker 3: And now I'm already going.
- 7:04Speaker 1: What is it like one hour in the booth. I
- 7:06Speaker 1: don't know.
- 7:07Speaker 3: I don't know what it is, but yeah, but went anyway. Yeah,
- 7:12Speaker 3: it was good man, it was good And Aaron well
- 7:14Speaker 3: an hour and a half drive out from where.
- 7:16Speaker 2: We were right, which is a you were saying ball Lake.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Well, it was a bit of a ball lap because
- 7:21Speaker 1: come all the way from New Zealand. But the drives
- 7:22Speaker 1: killing you. No, it was just because we got a car.
- 7:26Speaker 3: We had a car, my daughter's car, and we were
- 7:28Speaker 3: on the motorway and of course there was a massive
- 7:31Speaker 3: accident which added half an hour to the journey.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Did you suck it up by driving on the wrong
- 7:35Speaker 1: side of the road.
- 7:36Speaker 3: Yeah, he made a mess in the door.
- 7:38Speaker 2: They drove on the same way as It was really funny.
- 7:41Speaker 3: I got to tell you this because our daughter we
- 7:43Speaker 3: borrowed our daughter's car, right and we met her for
- 7:45Speaker 3: breakfast and then she and then we took we took
- 7:49Speaker 3: her car and went back to the hotel and she
- 7:52Speaker 3: just you know, hung out with my younger daughter. We
- 7:55Speaker 3: went to the hotel, got changed, took fifteen minutes, got
- 7:58Speaker 3: back in her car and we're driving for I was
- 8:01Speaker 3: driving front of a minute and my wife goes was
- 8:04Speaker 3: there always a crack in the windscreen?
- 8:08Speaker 1: And we were like, surely there was.
- 8:11Speaker 3: Surely, surely there was, because we don't literally only had
- 8:16Speaker 3: it for about fifteen minutes.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Surely. Yeah.
- 8:18Speaker 3: My wife was like, oh, well, I was in the
- 8:19Speaker 3: car in this very position. I never noticed that, and
- 8:21Speaker 3: it's quite big. And I was like, yeah, no, I
- 8:24Speaker 3: never noticed it either. So we had to ring our
- 8:26Speaker 3: daughter and go, was there always a crack in your windscreen?
- 8:28Speaker 3: And she was like cracking up, going yes, because for fuck,
- 8:33Speaker 3: that would be right, wouldn't it. We'd crack the wind
- 8:36Speaker 3: screen within ten minutes.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Nice man.
- 8:38Speaker 2: But the wedding was good, was it was? The food
- 8:40Speaker 2: provided was an open bar, all that stuff.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Yeah? Yeah. How long did you stay after? Though?
- 8:45Speaker 3: You're not long? Mogie, You're well done, because I'll tell
- 8:48Speaker 3: you I got that fucking arm pit infection again.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Ah.
- 8:53Speaker 3: While I was in Dunedin. You remember, I had that
- 8:56Speaker 3: massive swollen thing I do started happening in rain and yeah,
- 9:02Speaker 3: I had a colossomy bag hanging from my arm pit.
- 9:05Speaker 3: And it's when I get run down that that happens,
- 9:08Speaker 3: and down from what I don't know. It started happening
- 9:11Speaker 3: in Duneda, and I was like, really painful, and is.
- 9:15Speaker 1: It an in fiction?
- 9:16Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 9:17Speaker 2: Yeah, have you gone to the doctor.
- 9:19Speaker 3: I've sorted it, man. But anyway, so I had that
- 9:23Speaker 3: going on when we got to the airport and it
- 9:25Speaker 3: was really so and I was like, this will be
- 9:27Speaker 3: all right. I'll get to Ozzie and it'll flare up
- 9:29Speaker 3: massively and I'll be hospitalized immediately. But fortunately, after like
- 9:35Speaker 3: a day and a half of pain, it burst.
- 9:38Speaker 1: That's right. When it didn't burst, I made it. Is
- 9:44Speaker 1: it a giant pimple? Well, it's just a it's aoil,
- 9:48Speaker 1: isn't it. It's like, yeah, kind of well what is it?
- 9:51Speaker 1: You know what it is? I can't even because I
- 9:54Speaker 1: remember us going through it. Yeah I can't really. Yeah,
- 9:57Speaker 1: four years ago, five years.
- 9:58Speaker 3: Ago, like a boil or something. Then it gets a
- 10:01Speaker 3: head on it kesey, and then you just and then
- 10:04Speaker 3: you just pushed down hard and then grew.
- 10:08Speaker 2: And then what comes out You just.
- 10:11Speaker 1: Comes out pass. Yeah, it's past. I taught me three
- 10:14Speaker 1: your Cities.
- 10:15Speaker 3: No ciggies. No, that's a lie.
- 10:18Speaker 1: That it felt like a lie.
- 10:20Speaker 3: My wife and I she had a CIGI nice, yeah, nice?
- 10:25Speaker 1: Not really right, It wasn't an Australian CIGI yeah, here.
- 10:30Speaker 3: I don't know if this is true. Twelve bucks in Aussie. No,
- 10:33Speaker 3: that's not true, but I think they were that you
- 10:35Speaker 3: can get these cheap Chinese cigarettes.
- 10:38Speaker 1: I don't have the racists to come into it, because
- 10:41Speaker 1: my daughter used to buy them. They are very, very cheap.
- 10:44Speaker 1: There used to be a they were. They've got them here.
- 10:48Speaker 1: They were a dollar a packet. There are dollars. They're
- 10:51Speaker 1: sort of like five backs of cat or something. Fucking crazy. No,
- 10:54Speaker 1: five backs of pecket. I've never seen them. Yeah, yeah,
- 10:56Speaker 1: I don't need to smoke that barely no bed Oh no,
- 11:01Speaker 1: that was perfectly fine.
- 11:02Speaker 3: But my wife and I nah.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Nice.
- 11:08Speaker 1: Down because I need a couple of days off.
- 11:10Speaker 3: Genuinely am winging down my vape. Keasy. We're doing this, man,
- 11:14Speaker 3: fuck you, we're doing this.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Let's pop our boils and put our vapes away. We're
- 11:20Speaker 2: doing this fucking thing.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Yeah. So anyway, good stuff.
- 11:25Speaker 2: Did you enjoy your trip though, mate? It was great
- 11:27Speaker 2: where you go?
- 11:28Speaker 1: It's caught up with the girls.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Are you feeling a bit of mogi?
- 11:30Speaker 1: No?
- 11:31Speaker 2: Great?
- 11:32Speaker 1: I am. I am Friday, Yeah, yeah, And I was
- 11:37Speaker 1: braying you yesterday. I was really good. I had a
- 11:38Speaker 1: mate's birthday pad to go to. I said, I'm not going.
- 11:41Speaker 1: I just want to have another day with no talking.
- 11:43Speaker 1: Don't want to editate the throat and then wake up
- 11:46Speaker 1: today and.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Again, is it an in fiction or something like oil?
- 11:52Speaker 1: You know what it is? I think it was me
- 11:53Speaker 1: eating the pass out of your armpit. Yeah you do that?
- 11:57Speaker 1: He sucked it out. Yeah, you've got to suck at hard.
- 12:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Yeah, but I've been on it. I've finished my random
- 12:04Speaker 1: a round of antibiotics this morning. It's sinusidis, sure of it.
- 12:07Speaker 1: So I've got to go back to a specialist. But
- 12:10Speaker 1: is there any point going back to a specialist? So
- 12:12Speaker 1: I went back. I saw in November, if you remember keys,
- 12:16Speaker 1: I saw in November and I said, no, it's all sweet. Well,
- 12:19Speaker 1: I'll get into sick eight times a year. It's not sweet. Yeah,
- 12:22Speaker 1: something going on, But I think I actually need to
- 12:24Speaker 1: go when it's fleered up. Yes, because by the time
- 12:27Speaker 1: I go to the doctor, get the appointment, get the antibiotics,
- 12:31Speaker 1: get an appointment with a specialist, it's gone. And then
- 12:34Speaker 1: they're like you're sweet. It's like, well sure, I'm sweet now, yes,
- 12:38Speaker 1: So you're another two hundred days of the year that
- 12:41Speaker 1: I'm worried about.
- 12:41Speaker 2: What do you why do you book an appointment now
- 12:44Speaker 2: next year? And then when is the appointment.
- 12:46Speaker 1: I've booked out there coming back to me? So what
- 12:47Speaker 1: I have to do is wait. But it's one of
- 12:49Speaker 1: those things where I can't say, oh, can we wait
- 12:51Speaker 1: until I'm sick.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Here's what you do? So when's the appointment that SATs
- 12:54Speaker 2: next Thursday? Yeah?
- 12:55Speaker 1: Just make it punch some darts, yeah, true, bring it up. Actually,
- 12:59Speaker 1: you know what I should do. I should sit it
- 13:01Speaker 1: for the Tuesday after we get back from magic. It'll
- 13:03Speaker 1: be flit up. I'll tell you responsibly.
- 13:08Speaker 2: Hey, listen to the Picture Show four to seven weekdays
- 13:11Speaker 2: radio heard up here. Good listening.
