Transcript
- 0:02Speaker 1: Hey, welcome to tea time with Amien beav Stup girl,
- 0:07Speaker 1: step step Sup?
- 0:08Speaker 2: What's up? Just actually enjoying life? I would say, enjoying life.
- 0:13Speaker 2: That's probably the more the place that I'm at.
- 0:16Speaker 1: What does that mean?
- 0:17Speaker 2: Enjoying life? I am recognize all the syncreticities that I
- 0:21Speaker 2: have in my life. I'm getting messages all the time
- 0:25Speaker 2: letting me know things are transitioning. You know, we were
- 0:29Speaker 2: just talking about manifesting and stuff like that. I keep
- 0:33Speaker 2: I'll try to imagine me driving a certain vehicle, and
- 0:35Speaker 2: it's like one vehicle keeps popping in each time. I'm like, okay, okay,
- 0:40Speaker 2: universe surprising to light me. We'll see how that works out,
- 0:42Speaker 2: because it's just interesting. It's just interesting because I think
- 0:45Speaker 2: that sometimes we get an idea in our head that
- 0:48Speaker 2: we want what we want, and then we start talking
- 0:50Speaker 2: ourselves out of it because we don't think that we're
- 0:52Speaker 2: worth it. We think that's too much, because we start
- 0:55Speaker 2: thinking about all the hows and how's that going to happen?
- 0:59Speaker 2: And what if that is happen and how could I
- 1:01Speaker 2: even do that? We put all this pressure on ourselves
- 1:04Speaker 2: to kind of have the to create every single part
- 1:08Speaker 2: every single aspect from the start to finish, how you're
- 1:10Speaker 2: going to get that vehicle, how you're going to get
- 1:12Speaker 2: that house, how you're going to get that job. And
- 1:14Speaker 2: it's it's recognizing. Even when I'm driving home, I see
- 1:17Speaker 2: myself driving on this paved road to my house. So
- 1:21Speaker 2: it's like I'm going through an experience that I'm I'm
- 1:24Speaker 2: doing all the time. Hanging out with the grandkids. We
- 1:29Speaker 2: have a great time, we have great conversations. It's just
- 1:33Speaker 2: the other day my grandson was here, he's almost eight,
- 1:36Speaker 2: and he said, my massage table was out, and he says, Grandma,
- 1:40Speaker 2: I want a massage. And I'm like, okay, well, let's
- 1:43Speaker 2: get up all climb up on the table and take
- 1:45Speaker 2: up your shirt and I said, I'll cover you. You know,
- 1:47Speaker 2: he had his pants on and stuff like that, so
- 1:49Speaker 2: I put it put a thing across the back of
- 1:52Speaker 2: him so I didn't get oil on his clothes. And
- 1:54Speaker 2: I sat there and I was like rubbing his back
- 1:57Speaker 2: and he's like, oh my gosh, Grandma, this feels so good.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Like he must have told me I don't even know
- 2:03Speaker 2: how many times, and then they kept bringing it up
- 2:05Speaker 2: throughout the day afterwards, but he totally meloed out. Not
- 2:09Speaker 2: that he was like hyper or highstrung before he got here,
- 2:11Speaker 2: but he was in such a place of speed of peace,
- 2:14Speaker 2: and we don't recognize. For me, even kids are so
- 2:18Speaker 2: good to have around because they're so freaking honest about things,
- 2:22Speaker 2: even to the point of, oh, Grandma, that's pulling my Harry.
- 2:24Speaker 2: He'd probably probably just go to a little bit lower
- 2:26Speaker 2: on me, like he's telling me what to do now
- 2:28Speaker 2: that which is great. It's great, which I appreciate. I
- 2:32Speaker 2: wish all my clients would be more vocal about all
- 2:35Speaker 2: of that stuff, you know what I mean. But something's
- 2:36Speaker 2: bothering to speak up. But we've learned, we've learned to
- 2:39Speaker 2: tolerate things and put up with things even if we
- 2:41Speaker 2: don't like it. And I think it's because we don't
- 2:44Speaker 2: really know how to communicate it, which is the part
- 2:46Speaker 2: of a conversation we had too. But we don't know
- 2:48Speaker 2: how to communicate without hurting someone else's feelings. And it
- 2:51Speaker 2: has a lot to do with the energy that we
- 2:54Speaker 2: have when we're having these conversations, even in your relationships.
- 2:58Speaker 2: If we're having a conversation around here, if I'm coming
- 3:01Speaker 2: from a neutral place and asking questions that might otherwise
- 3:05Speaker 2: be they could be upsetting. Depending on what kind of
- 3:07Speaker 2: energy I'm coming out of the conversation with, you get
- 3:11Speaker 2: different a different outcome from the people around you. But
- 3:15Speaker 2: back to the massage, it's like, I think every kids
- 3:18Speaker 2: should be getting a massage, honestly. I mean it's they
- 3:21Speaker 2: talk about which I didn't plan on talking about any
- 3:24Speaker 2: of this stuff, but if they talk about like parents,
- 3:26Speaker 2: you know, when they're from the childs that are babies,
- 3:28Speaker 2: when you're putting their lotion on them to kind of
- 3:30Speaker 2: massage their bodies and stuff like that, because it makes
- 3:33Speaker 2: such a difference, and I got to physically see it
- 3:36Speaker 2: visually visually see it with my grandson. And now my
- 3:39Speaker 2: granddaughter will be like, well, my black grandma, So she'll
- 3:42Speaker 2: just lay right on the floor in front of me
- 3:43Speaker 2: and all this rubber back, you know what. She seems
- 3:47Speaker 2: to enjoy that. But it's like it's just being aware
- 3:50Speaker 2: that there's just these little differences that what I didn't
- 3:53Speaker 2: even spend probably fifteen minutes doing this, and it's like
- 3:55Speaker 2: you could each person with their kids could spend this
- 3:58Speaker 2: amount of time and then they get a different outcome
- 4:00Speaker 2: from their own children. They get a different environment from
- 4:03Speaker 2: their own children. It's a peaceful place. You don't have
- 4:05Speaker 2: to be a massage therapist to do these things. It's
- 4:08Speaker 2: just they it's just giving them that one on one
- 4:11Speaker 2: and that touch and that and it's not even I
- 4:13Speaker 2: was rubbing his back and then I massaged his arms
- 4:16Speaker 2: and its hands with it's like, it's just it's it's
- 4:18Speaker 2: just so simple. This is such a simple task that
- 4:21Speaker 2: had such a huge outcome it had. It was something
- 4:24Speaker 2: that lasted for hours and hours and hours throughout that day,
- 4:28Speaker 2: and it's and it's nice for them to know that
- 4:30Speaker 2: they're they're loved, and you know, without because they don't
- 4:32Speaker 2: listen to our words. A lot. We say all kinds
- 4:35Speaker 2: of things, parents, teachers, peers, like everybody says all kinds
- 4:40Speaker 2: of things, but but they don't. Their energy doesn't always
- 4:42Speaker 2: match up with what they're saying. And that's confusing and
- 4:45Speaker 2: it can it's conflicting with kids and it is with
- 4:49Speaker 2: people too, But they just don't they're not sure why
- 4:54Speaker 2: they're feeling these things. And then until you start isolating
- 4:57Speaker 2: and you start paying attention more right when you're when
- 4:59Speaker 2: you're listening and you're observing everything kind of shifts. So
- 5:02Speaker 2: I think that's kind of an important piece out there.
- 5:05Speaker 2: It's not only is it important for us to get
- 5:07Speaker 2: massages for us to help relax, but it's like us,
- 5:11Speaker 2: I'll sit massage my own hands. I can massage my
- 5:14Speaker 2: own arms. There's things that we can do for self
- 5:16Speaker 2: and that's important. I haven't sat and massage my feet,
- 5:19Speaker 2: but I could, and it'll probably be very valuable for myself.
- 5:22Speaker 2: That's very grounding, right, It's just and then with all
- 5:26Speaker 2: that being said, I was processing, you know, I always
- 5:29Speaker 2: think about grounding as putting your feet in the dirt
- 5:31Speaker 2: and all that stuff. But I've heard that, you know,
- 5:33Speaker 2: eating things, eating foods and stuff like that can be
- 5:35Speaker 2: very grounding, probably because you're you're in the now, and
- 5:39Speaker 2: so I think that's kind of I guess a lot
- 5:41Speaker 2: of things can ground you more than we more than
- 5:44Speaker 2: I perceived as possibilities of being grounded. And it is
- 5:48Speaker 2: sitting there massaging those speed. It's not just sitting there
- 5:51Speaker 2: and imagining you have these roots coming from your feet
- 5:53Speaker 2: to the earth, or you know, going into these great
- 5:55Speaker 2: huge meditations. You can simply say the words, or you
- 5:58Speaker 2: can massage your big toe or your hand or whatever.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Massage your scalp. It gets us into this physical now
- 6:07Speaker 2: that we're experiencing that we're lucky to experience.
- 6:12Speaker 1: Yeah and no, and just thinking about the massage, we
- 6:18Speaker 1: do it so we can relax. We need that me
- 6:21Speaker 1: time because we have that pent up energy in our
- 6:25Speaker 1: body that's stuck and you feel it in your neck
- 6:28Speaker 1: and shoulders, or you get a cramp somewhere, or whatever
- 6:31Speaker 1: the case may be. We don't think about children that way.
- 6:36Speaker 1: And children have experiences all day long too, and they're
- 6:41Speaker 1: witnessing the adults and the things that they're going through
- 6:45Speaker 1: and all their energy. But a child doesn't know what
- 6:47Speaker 1: to do with all that energy that they're storing in
- 6:49Speaker 1: their body. And just by taking ten to fifteen minutes
- 6:53Speaker 1: to bring that nurturing touch to their body to help
- 7:00Speaker 1: them calm down, to help them shift, manipulating the muscles
- 7:06Speaker 1: to release any i'm gonna say energy or toxins or
- 7:12Speaker 1: stuck stuff that's in there. They don't know what to
- 7:16Speaker 1: do with that. And this is an opportunity to make
- 7:19Speaker 1: that make a nurturing connection with that child as well,
- 7:24Speaker 1: provided that you are in that as the parent in
- 7:28Speaker 1: that nurturing or grandparent in that nurturing space for them
- 7:33Speaker 1: to receive that nurture from you. Now, if I just
- 7:38Speaker 1: grabbed a child's arm and just kind of needed, you know,
- 7:42Speaker 1: needing knead right, needing their their muscle just quickly because
- 7:47Speaker 1: I'm irritated or I got things to do and I
- 7:50Speaker 1: don't have time for this, but they want it, then, right,
- 7:54Speaker 1: you're sending a different energy to their body. Whereas if
- 7:58Speaker 1: you sit and caress and like a nurturing, gentle massage
- 8:06Speaker 1: to the child, it's a whole different energy and it
- 8:09Speaker 1: can it shifts. I think it also too. You may
- 8:16Speaker 1: you may have you may have been in a calm
- 8:18Speaker 1: space to do it. However, through that nurturing connection, he
- 8:26Speaker 1: calmed down even more, which brought even more calmness to you,
- 8:29Speaker 1: and so it just shifted the entire energy of the
- 8:32Speaker 1: environment altogether.
- 8:33Speaker 2: Yeah, well this is the whole up and flow right
- 8:35Speaker 2: the infinity. Yeah, it totally is. And it's like I
- 8:39Speaker 2: never said anything to him about going to the bathroom
- 8:41Speaker 2: or drinking fluid or anything like that, and he's like, Grandma,
- 8:43Speaker 2: I have gone to the bathroom six times now since
- 8:46Speaker 2: that massage. And he's like, that has to do with
- 8:48Speaker 2: the massage. And I'm like, and he's right, because he
- 8:50Speaker 2: doesn't normally that's not a thing, and it's not not
- 8:53Speaker 2: something that I noticed. I couldn't tell you that he
- 8:56Speaker 2: had a fluid on his body or anything like that.
- 8:58Speaker 2: But then he had a response. They kids are are brilliant.
- 9:02Speaker 2: They really are brilliant. They're very very smart, and I
- 9:05Speaker 2: don't think if adults would stop and listen to the
- 9:08Speaker 2: conversations they're having, everything would change kind of the conversations
- 9:14Speaker 2: when we get mad at our kids. I got mad
- 9:17Speaker 2: at my kids sometimes too. But when we get mad,
- 9:20Speaker 2: if we stop and recognize that that child is you,
- 9:24Speaker 2: that child is a version of you. And it's like,
- 9:27Speaker 2: if you don't have time for that child, that's because
- 9:29Speaker 2: someone didn't have time for you. And now you have
- 9:32Speaker 2: an opportunity to change everything everything. You can change the
- 9:36Speaker 2: past because there is no past present future, No, it's
- 9:41Speaker 2: I mean future, I mean present. Everything is right now.
- 9:44Speaker 2: Everything is right now, And I do really wholeheartedly believe
- 9:48Speaker 2: that we don't have there's no separation between the timelines
- 9:53Speaker 2: as far as everything is happening right now. Is really
- 9:56Speaker 2: what my point is. And it's like, it's an opportunity
- 9:59Speaker 2: when we are looking at them to approach ourselves in
- 10:02Speaker 2: a different way because our our mom version of us
- 10:07Speaker 2: are our dad version of us. That the way that
- 10:09Speaker 2: they approached us when we were at that stage. It's
- 10:12Speaker 2: just such a huge trigger that all that all that
- 10:15Speaker 2: emotion that you're feeling at that moment and you're being
- 10:17Speaker 2: triggered by something because your kid's not listening, because they
- 10:20Speaker 2: defied you, because they lied to you, because of whatever.
- 10:23Speaker 2: It's an opportunity for you to approach it from a
- 10:25Speaker 2: different perspective, differently than than it was brought to you.
- 10:29Speaker 2: And it's like it changes everything. So I don't have
- 10:33Speaker 2: control over everything in everybody's lives, but I do have
- 10:37Speaker 2: opportunities to have conversations about it, and I don't. Some
- 10:42Speaker 2: things will be presented to me and it's like, you know,
- 10:43Speaker 2: I wish I had I wish I could do something
- 10:46Speaker 2: differently for you for that, But this we've got, we
- 10:48Speaker 2: have an opportunity to see things from a different perspective.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Uh. That also goes along with what you were saying
- 10:57Speaker 1: is our parents showed up in the version they knew
- 11:01Speaker 1: how to show up, whether it was loving or abusive,
- 11:04Speaker 1: doesn't matter what side or in the middle. That's how
- 11:08Speaker 1: they knew how to show up. And then we take
- 11:11Speaker 1: that on because that's what we were raised with. That's
- 11:14Speaker 1: our programming. Yeah, we might make some tweaks, we may
- 11:17Speaker 1: not be as abusive, or we will lean more towards
- 11:21Speaker 1: more loving, but we still have controlling aspects, Like there's
- 11:25Speaker 1: there's still going to be pieces of us that are
- 11:28Speaker 1: pieces of our parents or the adults that were in
- 11:31Speaker 1: our life that raise us. In our body, in our system,
- 11:34Speaker 1: in our subconscious. It's still in there, and it's going
- 11:38Speaker 1: to get triggered, right, It's going to get triggered in
- 11:40Speaker 1: some way. And then your children come along and like
- 11:42Speaker 1: you said, they do something and that triggers that emotional
- 11:50Speaker 1: baggage that you've been hanging on to that you didn't
- 11:53Speaker 1: know what to do with. Not you as BEV, but
- 11:56Speaker 1: anybody that's just listening, and so that gets triggered and
- 12:02Speaker 1: we have the opportunity, it's like begov A say, we
- 12:04Speaker 1: have the opportunity to stop and recognize what is happening.
- 12:10Speaker 1: This is a huge piece of self awareness. Recognize what
- 12:15Speaker 1: is happening, and in that moment, you have opportunity to
- 12:19Speaker 1: shift everything. Because if everything is happening now, past, present,
- 12:24Speaker 1: and future, and we are one omnipresent with energy, we
- 12:29Speaker 1: are everything. Then you stopping and recognizing what's happening, that
- 12:37Speaker 1: this is an opportunity in that moment to heal a
- 12:40Speaker 1: situation that you were raised with that your parents, Right,
- 12:44Speaker 1: that's ancestral healing that we if you if you don't
- 12:47Speaker 1: know about it, look it up. But it's healing the past,
- 12:51Speaker 1: and you're healing the present because you're healing yourself, and
- 12:55Speaker 1: you're healing the future because you're taking the opportunity to
- 12:59Speaker 1: shift the energy do your own processes so that you
- 13:05Speaker 1: converse with this child on a whole different in a
- 13:09Speaker 1: whole different way than the way you typically would do it. Yeah,
- 13:14Speaker 1: and so it's a huge impact. It's not just a
- 13:19Speaker 1: moment in time where oh, I recognize I'm yelling at
- 13:23Speaker 1: my kid and that's what my dad used to do. No,
- 13:26Speaker 1: it's a healing of all that stored energy and you
- 13:29Speaker 1: from your history that your parents carried, that their parents
- 13:33Speaker 1: carried and so forth, and to change that now so
- 13:37Speaker 1: that your child doesn't carry that forward. Like, there's just
- 13:41Speaker 1: an immense amount of healing that can take place when
- 13:45Speaker 1: somebody has self awareness.
- 13:48Speaker 2: It's true, I get excited about that stuff. It's so freeing.
- 13:53Speaker 2: It's so freeing, it's like all your views. Take the time,
- 13:57Speaker 2: take the time to notice the things that are triggering
- 13:59Speaker 2: you or that are you when you're when the kids
- 14:01Speaker 2: are around. Don't have a response to it, but just
- 14:04Speaker 2: notice the things they do that irritate you because it's
- 14:06Speaker 2: an opportunity. And then then questioning yourself, not from a
- 14:09Speaker 2: victim standpoint, because the victim standpoint will come out and
- 14:12Speaker 2: try to defend everything. And that's where everything is so
- 14:14Speaker 2: different now because I don't have that. I'm not in
- 14:16Speaker 2: that victim place. I'm in a different space when I'm
- 14:19Speaker 2: processing these things and looking at it differently. If if
- 14:23Speaker 2: I didn't, I wouldn't I wouldn't be Gosh. I try
- 14:26Speaker 2: to show up and be the best partner I can
- 14:28Speaker 2: possibly be. I try to show up and be the
- 14:29Speaker 2: best person I could possibly be in every day when
- 14:32Speaker 2: I didn't always have that ability or didn't know how to,
- 14:35Speaker 2: But that didn't mean that I didn't keep exploring and
- 14:39Speaker 2: keep trying to find other ways or keep showing up.
- 14:41Speaker 2: I keep showing up the difference between me and my
- 14:44Speaker 2: younger version of me is I ask questions, I'll say
- 14:47Speaker 2: things before I would have been. I'll just go through
- 14:51Speaker 2: my be in my head and have a you know,
- 14:53Speaker 2: whatever I come up with, and it usually wasn't a
- 14:56Speaker 2: good thing to come up with because most of the
- 14:57Speaker 2: stuff wasn't true, inaccurate, right, not a space you want
- 15:01Speaker 2: to be creating from and I and I want to be,
- 15:04Speaker 2: I want, I want to well, I don't want to be.
- 15:06Speaker 2: I know that we are master creators really, so just
- 15:12Speaker 2: taking that time and is exploring all the things. I
- 15:15Speaker 2: was talking to my grandson about a vision board because
- 15:17Speaker 2: he he wants this jeep thing, and I'm like, well,
- 15:20Speaker 2: maybe create a vision board. Start writing into your notebook
- 15:23Speaker 2: about what you know you want this? Do you want this?
- 15:25Speaker 2: How would you how would that? What does it look like?
- 15:27Speaker 2: How would it feel? Could you close your eyes and
- 15:29Speaker 2: imagine what that feels like? Is driving around? So it's
- 15:32Speaker 2: like I'm just trying to present it to a child
- 15:36Speaker 2: from in a child perspective, but it's like be aware.
- 15:40Speaker 2: Kids are freaking brilliant and they understand things a lot
- 15:43Speaker 2: more than we think they do, and they might look
- 15:45Speaker 2: at us it's like we're we have a third eye
- 15:47Speaker 2: sometimes because we're coming at them with this energy because
- 15:51Speaker 2: I love you. I don't want you to do this
- 15:52Speaker 2: because I love you, it does not feel like love.
- 15:56Speaker 2: And in that moment, it's the words don't matter, what's
- 15:58Speaker 2: what we're coming out because all they can feel this,
- 16:00Speaker 2: all this anger like being pinpointed right at them, that
- 16:04Speaker 2: they're being targeted, and it doesn't make sense that they
- 16:07Speaker 2: don't understand because I love you and it's not because
- 16:11Speaker 2: anybody did anything wrong. But just stop and look and
- 16:13Speaker 2: see how that feels. Stop and you can tell by
- 16:17Speaker 2: how the kids are around you, by the way you're
- 16:19Speaker 2: talking to them. You can tell by how how the
- 16:22Speaker 2: kids are reacting, by how how do you feel right
- 16:24Speaker 2: when you're having that conversation. If it doesn't feel good,
- 16:27Speaker 2: it's probably it's probably going to be counterproductive, it's probably
- 16:30Speaker 2: not going to work out the way you'd like it to.
- 16:32Speaker 2: And then it's asking your team, we this whole team
- 16:36Speaker 2: that we have around us, like how would how what's
- 16:39Speaker 2: the best way we can show up in this situation?
- 16:41Speaker 2: What's the best way. It's like I tell my kids
- 16:43Speaker 2: all the time, I don't have the answers. I don't
- 16:45Speaker 2: have the answers, but I when when a situation is
- 16:48Speaker 2: presented to me, how can I'm asking my team like,
- 16:51Speaker 2: how can we show up right now? This best way
- 16:54Speaker 2: ever since I've been doing that, even with my clients,
- 16:56Speaker 2: I don't go in there and be like, Okay, how
- 16:58Speaker 2: can I serve today? How can we serve today? Because
- 17:02Speaker 2: there's a wee, there's a I've got this huge team
- 17:04Speaker 2: that flows with me wherever I go. How can we
- 17:07Speaker 2: how can instead of me being worried about how am
- 17:09Speaker 2: I going to pay for this? Because how am I
- 17:11Speaker 2: going to pay for this? That's ego? How am I?
- 17:14Speaker 2: That's that's harsh? How are we going to pay for this? Hey, universe,
- 17:18Speaker 2: Hey guys back here, how are we going to make
- 17:20Speaker 2: this happen? Like, come on now, we need to make
- 17:22Speaker 2: this happen. How is this gonna happen? So it's like
- 17:25Speaker 2: I I rely on my team all the time for everything,
- 17:29Speaker 2: for everything. I'm talking to them all the time, and
- 17:32Speaker 2: people might feel like that's odd, And if I would
- 17:36Speaker 2: have probably talked to you about it five years ago,
- 17:38Speaker 2: I might have found it odd. I don't know. I
- 17:40Speaker 2: don't know because I don't I don't know where it
- 17:42Speaker 2: was at five years ago. But I'm not five years
- 17:44Speaker 2: ago anymore. I'm right here and I'm right now, and
- 17:46Speaker 2: I'm I'm showing up as me and this is how
- 17:49Speaker 2: I am. And I'm unapologetic about it because it's there's
- 17:53Speaker 2: no reason to apologize because I've always said I love
- 17:56Speaker 2: it when someone shows up one hundred percent authentic and
- 17:58Speaker 2: just is them, they're themselves one hundred percent. Because it
- 18:01Speaker 2: was paving the way for me to realize, what, oh that,
- 18:04Speaker 2: that's what that could look like. You know you can
- 18:07Speaker 2: dress in crazy colored well I could. I'm wearing my
- 18:09Speaker 2: work clothes right now. But you know there's there's things
- 18:12Speaker 2: that I could be doing. And it's like I can
- 18:15Speaker 2: put Like we talked about before, I can talk about
- 18:17Speaker 2: how how am I gonna buy a whole new wardrobe?
- 18:19Speaker 2: I don't have to worry about buying a whole new wardrobe. Hey, universe,
- 18:23Speaker 2: how can we manifest a wardrobe that's going to be
- 18:26Speaker 2: something that's nice and colorful that I'm gonna flow and
- 18:29Speaker 2: I'm going to vibrate in. I'm gonna just feel grating
- 18:32Speaker 2: all the time. I'm gonna uplook people just by walking
- 18:35Speaker 2: in the door. It's just having the imagination I'm playing
- 18:39Speaker 2: with it. Yeah, it's funny that we're having all these conversations.
- 18:43Speaker 2: We're getting ready to roll into a new year.
- 18:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:47Speaker 2: And I was thinking about that because here I am
- 18:49Speaker 2: looking at my you know, my list of our twelve months,
- 18:54Speaker 2: which I don't look at all the time. I don't
- 18:56Speaker 2: I don't look at mine all the time. And then
- 18:57Speaker 2: I look at my December and it's like it's talking
- 18:59Speaker 2: about uh, listening and intuition. All the stuff is happening
- 19:03Speaker 2: for me right now, and it is. And if we
- 19:06Speaker 2: don't take inventory, if we don't take if we don't
- 19:09Speaker 2: stop and be an awareness of it, and it aren't
- 19:12Speaker 2: right now, then we miss out on all the stuff
- 19:15Speaker 2: that we're doing right now. We have so many things
- 19:17Speaker 2: that are happening right now that are so amazing and positive.
- 19:21Speaker 2: Something else I wanted to touch on. Everyone's always trying
- 19:24Speaker 2: to figure out their purpose, always trying to figure out
- 19:27Speaker 2: their purpose. Everybody, Oh, what's my purpose? There's gotta be
- 19:30Speaker 2: more to me. And I was hearing people say recently
- 19:32Speaker 2: on a lot of the different things I listened to.
- 19:34Speaker 2: They were talking about, well, what do you want to
- 19:36Speaker 2: do when you're a kid, Well, I want to be
- 19:38Speaker 2: a veterinarian and I want to be a nurse, and
- 19:40Speaker 2: I don't want to be either one of those now.
- 19:41Speaker 2: But but below the surface of that, it was I
- 19:45Speaker 2: wanted to help people. I wanted to heal people. I
- 19:47Speaker 2: wanted to do things. And it's like we stop and
- 19:50Speaker 2: we stop ourselves from doing those things because I don't
- 19:52Speaker 2: want to do I don't want to be a nurse
- 19:54Speaker 2: and I don't want to be a veterinarian. I don't.
- 19:56Speaker 2: But the underlying thing was that's what that was my desires.
- 20:00Speaker 2: My soul knew that I wanted to help people. That's
- 20:04Speaker 2: all my soul knew. And now I've always had a feeling,
- 20:06Speaker 2: even from doing massage, that there's we've got to be
- 20:09Speaker 2: able to heal. There's we got to be able to
- 20:10Speaker 2: heal everything. Everything is everything to be healed. Like that's
- 20:13Speaker 2: my whole that I know that to be true. Now
- 20:15Speaker 2: I haven't proved it to myself one hundred percent, but
- 20:17Speaker 2: I've got this knowing inside of me. So I've got
- 20:19Speaker 2: to let my team flow through me. Those are the passions,
- 20:22Speaker 2: those are the things. One of my daughters wanted to
- 20:25Speaker 2: be a bus driver when she was grown up. Why
- 20:28Speaker 2: because she wanted to be a icel. He just told
- 20:30Speaker 2: her recently, I said, you want to be a freaking guy.
- 20:32Speaker 2: Do we get so serious and so caught up in
- 20:34Speaker 2: all these details? The guide that helps to guide someone,
- 20:38Speaker 2: that helps to nurture them, to help because that's the
- 20:40Speaker 2: way she always was. She wanted to be, you know,
- 20:42Speaker 2: helping people, nurturing them. She always had people that had
- 20:45Speaker 2: maybe hearing disabilities or abilities, how are going to call it?
- 20:51Speaker 2: They weren't hearing the same way that we were hearing.
- 20:54Speaker 2: They might have communicated sign language, So she'd learned sign language.
- 20:56Speaker 2: She'd always be to the defense of those that were
- 21:00Speaker 2: that she felt needed to be defended. So it's like
- 21:02Speaker 2: it's we get so caught up in all these things,
- 21:04Speaker 2: and we think that there have to be these big,
- 21:05Speaker 2: huge things, But it's like break it down and then
- 21:08Speaker 2: start asking your team, okay, okay, team, so we can
- 21:12Speaker 2: heal people? What does that look like? How can we
- 21:15Speaker 2: heal people? And so it's just being open. How can
- 21:18Speaker 2: we communicate more with spirit? How can we It's just
- 21:22Speaker 2: being open to the information that's flowing in this whole time,
- 21:26Speaker 2: I swear I've been looking at everything from a different perspective.
- 21:29Speaker 2: And now because I was like, I don't want to
- 21:31Speaker 2: be a freaking veterinarian. That's that's the stupidest thing. It's like,
- 21:34Speaker 2: these guys don't know what they're talking about. And then
- 21:36Speaker 2: I just started breaking it down. It's like, yeah, they do.
- 21:40Speaker 2: Stop and think about the things you wanted to do
- 21:41Speaker 2: when you were growing up.
- 21:44Speaker 1: And and I wrote down, keep as simple, sister, because
- 21:51Speaker 1: that's what kids are. Kids are simple, but they understand
- 21:55Speaker 1: so much. And so as a child, especially in the
- 21:58Speaker 1: time that we were children.
- 22:00Speaker 2: H we knew what.
- 22:01Speaker 1: A doctor was, and what a nurse was, what a
- 22:04Speaker 1: bus driver is what right we knew those titles and
- 22:07Speaker 1: because those were talked about, we didn't know what a
- 22:12Speaker 1: life coach was or a healer, like we didn't know
- 22:17Speaker 1: those terms. But you're right, you know, you think about
- 22:20Speaker 1: a doctor, a nurse, a vet like we're we want
- 22:23Speaker 1: to help, we want to heal, we want to uh
- 22:27Speaker 1: do something to nurture.
- 22:30Speaker 2: People. And so.
- 22:34Speaker 1: It just goes right along the lines with the massage
- 22:36Speaker 1: with your grandson. Is it was so simple. Things that
- 22:41Speaker 1: he said was so simple and direct. The things that
- 22:45Speaker 1: kids understand is so simple. We're adults and we've we've
- 22:50Speaker 1: created this chaotic way of communication because that's what we know.
- 22:56Speaker 1: And if we just brought it down to simplicity and
- 23:00Speaker 1: listened and and did better at communication, it would be
- 23:07Speaker 1: so incredible on so many levels of us actually healing
- 23:13Speaker 1: and understanding each.
- 23:14Speaker 2: Other instead of trying to understand everybody through our own traumas. Yeah,
- 23:22Speaker 2: so crazy, but it is. You're right, It is simple.
- 23:26Speaker 2: It is simple, Yeah, and communicating. If you questioning someone,
- 23:31Speaker 2: did you mean it this way? Well maybe they did,
- 23:34Speaker 2: Maybe they did mean it that way, and what if
- 23:36Speaker 2: they did? Who cares? That doesn't define who you are,
- 23:39Speaker 2: but the way we respond defines can be defining moment
- 23:43Speaker 2: for sure, but not it's not written in stone. It's
- 23:46Speaker 2: an opportunity for change.
- 23:49Speaker 1: Yeah, And I've said that to myself this week. Actually,
- 23:54Speaker 1: keep it simple, sister, keep it simple, talking to myself,
- 23:58Speaker 1: and so it's kiss right, and people hear it in
- 24:02Speaker 1: other ways in other terms when I'm like, keep it simple, sweetie,
- 24:06Speaker 1: or keep it simple, sister, Because we do, we create.
- 24:11Speaker 2: We we make things.
- 24:13Speaker 1: So difficult, even in just in our daily tasks we make,
- 24:17Speaker 1: we find a way to make them difficult because then
- 24:19Speaker 1: we feel good about ourselves because we learned how to
- 24:22Speaker 1: do it.
- 24:22Speaker 2: From that difficult view.
- 24:25Speaker 1: When we just went back to just keep it simple
- 24:29Speaker 1: and work smarter, not harder. I have to remind myself
- 24:33Speaker 1: of that too, work smarter, not harder. How can we
- 24:36Speaker 1: simple simplify this so it's nice. Yeah, all right, friends,
- 24:45Speaker 1: you got a lot out of this. And so we
- 24:47Speaker 1: went from massage to working smarter, not harder, so in
- 24:56Speaker 1: a short amount of time, and you can have these
- 25:00Speaker 1: conversations with your friends, your family, your coworkers, somebody in
- 25:03Speaker 1: the grocery line. Just have a conversation with somebody and
- 25:09Speaker 1: plant the seeds. Or share the content, Share what's resonating
- 25:12Speaker 1: with you, Share what's helping you, or share and or
- 25:19Speaker 1: share the links for the videos and the content that's
- 25:23Speaker 1: helping you. Whether it's a PDF, whether it's a podcast,
- 25:29Speaker 1: doesn't matter. Share it with people so that they can
- 25:32Speaker 1: hear the information as well. And then it doesn't matter
- 25:35Speaker 1: if it's from us or somebody else. I don't care.
- 25:38Speaker 1: What I care about is people are doing and being
- 25:42Speaker 1: better in themselves. That's what I care about. And the
- 25:45Speaker 1: better we get, the better we are, the better we are,
- 25:48Speaker 1: the better the external is. And so it's total self awareness.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Of yourself that.
- 25:55Speaker 1: Yeah, I didn't have to say that self awareness of yourself.
- 25:58Speaker 1: Sometimes I say things I'm like, why did you say that?
- 26:00Speaker 2: That's kind of funny.
- 26:01Speaker 1: But anyway, we're on many platforms.
- 26:04Speaker 2: We're on YouTube, We're on Facebook, we are on.
- 26:08Speaker 1: Google podcasts, podcast attic, iHeartRadio speakers, Spotify, so you can
- 26:13Speaker 1: find us in many areas YouTube and so just share,
- 26:19Speaker 1: share what works for you can find words.
- 26:23Speaker 2: I would say, the things that your interests and the
- 26:25Speaker 2: things that you're pursuing have been pursuing you the whole time.
- 26:27Speaker 2: That's the only reason you're drawn to it. And don't
- 26:30Speaker 2: discount it. It's so easy to discount our desires, brushing
- 26:35Speaker 2: ourselves aside. And it's like, take time to notice the
- 26:38Speaker 2: things that get your attention. Take time to notice the
- 26:41Speaker 2: things that you like to listen to on YouTube, Take
- 26:43Speaker 2: time to notice what you want to do. Are you
- 26:46Speaker 2: sitting doodling and drawing? Are you having conversations with people
- 26:49Speaker 2: that are you know, uplifting them? Just take time to
- 26:53Speaker 2: be in an awareness of self and you'll find your
- 26:56Speaker 2: path becomes a lot easier.
- 26:58Speaker 1: Yeah, absolutely, all right, my friends. Until next time, This
- 27:05Speaker 1: is tea time with Amy and Bev signing up, h
