1:16
SPEAKER_01: I totally forgot about it.
1:17
SPEAKER_00: That's like one of those yes but uh trends that I had to be that I had to learn.
1:22
SPEAKER_00: I think that like one or two times ago.
1:24
SPEAKER_00: The yes but.
1:25
SPEAKER_00: The yes but indeed.
1:27
SPEAKER_00: Yes, we did record at Riverfest, but you don't know what actually went down and what work went into it by our lovely team and our lovely sponsors and everybody behind the scenes that really helps us shine.

1:42
SPEAKER_00: We really, really love and appreciate you.
1:45
SPEAKER_00: Thanks for making us shine.
1:46
SPEAKER_00: And I'm sure all of our listeners do too.
1:48
SPEAKER_00: So it's it's not just us, it's all of the people that enjoy this podcast.

SPEAKER_00: So our Sip Squad.
1:54
SPEAKER_00: Yes, our Sip Squad.
1:56
SPEAKER_00: Thank you so much for being part of it.
1:58
SPEAKER_00: Supporting it.
1:59
SPEAKER_00: How amazing.
2:00
SPEAKER_00: I know.
2:01
SPEAKER_00: 49 episodes.
2:03
SPEAKER_00: 49 episodes.
2:04
SPEAKER_00: So this is happening.
2:05
SPEAKER_00: I'm Rachel.
2:06
SPEAKER_01: I'm Jen.
2:07
SPEAKER_01: We're happy to be here.
2:08
SPEAKER_01: We have a lot to go over tonight.
2:09
SPEAKER_01: So it's just the two of us, and this will be the last time it'll be just the two of us for season one because next week we have a guest, and we'll get into that later.
2:17
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
2:18
SPEAKER_01: Obviously, we just came off of Riverfest's main stage.
2:22
SPEAKER_01: We have an anniversary party coming up.
2:25
SPEAKER_01: July 12th from 2 to 4 at Bubbles.
2:27
SPEAKER_01: So save the date if you didn't already know.
2:30
SPEAKER_01: We're gonna be we're gonna be celebrating season one with past guests, with our listeners, with you know, our lovely sponsors, and of course, ourselves, friends, and our family.
2:40
SPEAKER_01: And so I hope that you all will join us for that.
2:44
SPEAKER_01: Tonight is a moment to look back.
2:46
SPEAKER_01: We have an entire 48 other seasons to reminisce episodes.
2:51
SPEAKER_01: Episodes, not seasons, episodes.
2:54
SPEAKER_01: Hey, we have things to strive for now.
2:55
SPEAKER_01: I was like, oh shit.
2:56
SPEAKER_01: Episodes.
2:57
SPEAKER_00: How long have we been here?
2:59
SPEAKER_01: 50 years.
3:02
SPEAKER_01: Full school, and 50 years ago I sat on this podcast.
3:06
SPEAKER_01: You betcha.
3:09
SPEAKER_01: 48 episodes to look back on.
3:11
SPEAKER_01: Lots of memories, lots of places we've been, lots of people we've talked to, and a lot of listeners that we've gained along the way, all that we're very grateful for.
3:20
SPEAKER_01: Of course, we're going to have our hits different segments.
3:25
SPEAKER_01: I feel like we picked a pretty perfect song for tonight.
3:28
SPEAKER_01: Long live from Taylor's Speak Now album.
3:31
SPEAKER_01: It's good.
3:32
SPEAKER_01: It's so good.
3:32
SPEAKER_00: I mean, I'm not giving away anything until we hit go there.
3:36
SPEAKER_01: Um, you know, but first, before we get too far into the weeds, we have to go into the trend decoder.
3:43
SPEAKER_00: Different weeds, okay.
3:46
SPEAKER_01: Are you ready?
3:47
SPEAKER_01: I'm trying.
3:48
SPEAKER_01: Okay, well, while you get ready, I have a couple more things to mention.
3:52
SPEAKER_01: So, our anniversary party is coming up July 12th from 2 to 4 at Bubbles.
3:57
SPEAKER_01: It's called Uncorked, Unhinged, and Bubbling Over.
4:01
SPEAKER_01: And because of that, our Uncorked and Slightly Unhinged line of t-shirts, sweatshirts, crew necks, tank tops, they're all 15% off right now when you use the code STH and Anniversary.
4:14
SPEAKER_01: So go scoop those up so that when you come to Uncorked, Unhinged, and Slightly Bubbling Over, you will be dressed, you know.
4:23
SPEAKER_01: Dress the vibe.
4:25
SPEAKER_01: Yes, dress for the vibe.
4:26
SPEAKER_01: And you know what?
4:27
SPEAKER_01: Even if you're not dressed for the vibe, we still want to see you because we love you.
4:30
SPEAKER_01: Yes.
4:31
SPEAKER_01: So there is that.
4:32
SPEAKER_01: We're really excited for our anniversary coming up.
4:34
SPEAKER_01: The marketing has been wild because it's been done in a hurry, but the date is of get again July 12th.
4:41
SPEAKER_01: July July 12th from 2 to 4.
4:45
SPEAKER_00: Not June.
4:46
SPEAKER_00: July.
4:47
SPEAKER_00: July 12th.
4:48
SPEAKER_00: I think I rubbed off my mistake onto you.
4:52
SPEAKER_00: My brain has been just like pounding things up.
4:55
SPEAKER_01: I just I think you know, a lot has been going on.
4:58
SPEAKER_01: A lot has been going on.
5:00
SPEAKER_01: So the marketing for this event has gotten a little wonky, but it will be July 12th.
5:05
SPEAKER_01: July 12th.
5:06
SPEAKER_01: From 2 to 4.
5:07
SPEAKER_01: 2 to 4.
5:08
SPEAKER_01: At Bubbles.
5:09
SPEAKER_01: Yes.
5:09
SPEAKER_01: Sponsored by Vue Events.
5:11
SPEAKER_01: Yes.
5:11
SPEAKER_01: With venue sponsor, obviously Bubbles.
5:15
SPEAKER_01: Because we love you.
5:16
SPEAKER_01: Yes.
5:16
SPEAKER_01: Okay, now do you feel like you're ready for Trend Decoder?
5:19
SPEAKER_01: I better be.
5:21
SPEAKER_01: You better be because it is time to do it.
5:24
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
5:25
SPEAKER_01: So the fun part about Trend Decoder is I'm a lot more online than Rachel is.
5:29
SPEAKER_01: And because of the nature of my job as a social media manager, I'm a lot more in tune to current trends than Rachel is.
5:38
SPEAKER_01: So it's a lot of fun to talk about these trends and have her guess what they might have might be about with only her knowing the title of them.
5:48
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's interesting to see what the world is doing out there.
5:52
SPEAKER_01: All right.
5:52
SPEAKER_01: It's always an interesting spiral.
5:54
SPEAKER_01: We like to let her cook.
5:56
SPEAKER_01: Sometimes.
5:57
SPEAKER_01: So the first one, speaking of sizzle, is called Don't Touch It.
6:02
SPEAKER_01: These could be so bad.
6:05
SPEAKER_01: I know.
6:06
SPEAKER_01: That's the fun of it, right?
6:07
SPEAKER_00: Don't touch it.
6:08
SPEAKER_01: Don't touch it.
6:10
SPEAKER_00: Okay, well, I want to touch it.
6:12
SPEAKER_00: I feel like that.
6:13
SPEAKER_01: I bet you do.
6:13
SPEAKER_00: I feel like that's like okay, Jen.
6:16
SPEAKER_00: Geez.
6:18
SPEAKER_00: Shut okay.
6:21
SPEAKER_00: Like you, I feel like, okay, my first instinct obviously is to touch it.
6:28
SPEAKER_00: Well.
6:28
SPEAKER_00: So I feel like it's like someone like taking a video of a cat.
6:31
SPEAKER_00: Just to be like, don't touch it, it's sharp.
6:33
SPEAKER_00: But I'm like, ooh, I want to touch it.
6:36
SPEAKER_00: How sharp is it?
6:39
SPEAKER_00: I feel like that's gotta be it.
6:41
SPEAKER_00: It's not.
6:42
SPEAKER_00: Oh no.
6:43
SPEAKER_00: Or like, oh, if there's like I got really gross pimple, and like, no, like there's that kind of set of people that wants to touch it and like deal with it, and there's that set that's just like, oh hell no.
6:55
SPEAKER_00: You know, and I'm like, give me my goggles.
6:57
SPEAKER_00: I'm in there.
6:58
SPEAKER_00: That's not it.
6:59
SPEAKER_00: No, okay.
7:00
SPEAKER_01: I mean, I guess the cactus is close in a way, but it's just not exactly what we're talking about here.
7:08
SPEAKER_01: Is it a living thing?
7:09
SPEAKER_01: No.
7:10
SPEAKER_01: No.
7:11
SPEAKER_00: Okay, don't see my brain's going work mode.
7:16
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
7:16
SPEAKER_00: This could get interesting.
7:19
SPEAKER_00: So let's say, let's say somebody that is not involved in a company that you work with at all, but that might potentially have the you know, might be in the future, given whatever's gonna happen.
7:31
SPEAKER_00: But they send you a message asking or saying something, and you just go, I don't know how to respond to that.
7:39
SPEAKER_00: Don't touch it.
7:40
SPEAKER_00: Okay, okay.
7:41
SPEAKER_00: Or to HR.
7:43
SPEAKER_01: Whatever you do.
7:44
SPEAKER_00: Like, I'm not gonna touch that.
7:45
SPEAKER_00: That's a hot potato.
7:47
SPEAKER_00: Hot potato, hot potato.
7:49
SPEAKER_00: I'm not even gonna catch that hot potato.
7:52
SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna just like blow it to the next person that needs to handle that situation.
7:59
SPEAKER_00: I feel like that's kind of what it's gotta be.
8:01
SPEAKER_00: Don't touch it.
8:02
SPEAKER_00: Don't touch it.
8:03
SPEAKER_00: Don't touch it, don't respond to it.
8:05
SPEAKER_00: Another thing that I'm thinking would be maybe like, oh, ooh, you get a text at like later than 10 p.m.
8:12
SPEAKER_00: from someone you haven't talked to in a long time.
8:15
SPEAKER_00: That's probably like someone that's been in your messages before that you used to message back, but now he got a message from them after months and months, maybe even years.
8:28
SPEAKER_00: Or a Snapchat.
8:30
SPEAKER_00: Oh, a Snapchat.
8:31
SPEAKER_00: Because they could see if you opened it.
8:33
SPEAKER_00: Don't touch it, don't touch it, don't touch it, don't open that.
8:37
SPEAKER_00: So do you want to touch it or do you not want to touch it?
8:39
SPEAKER_00: That's the that is the beauty of being a human, isn't it?
8:43
SPEAKER_00: It's like, well, I could.
8:45
SPEAKER_00: Well, I should.
8:45
SPEAKER_00: And unfortunately for me personally, I'm a person that does not like notifications being bubbled up.
8:51
SPEAKER_00: So I have to, even if I don't want to, just at least click it.
8:57
SPEAKER_00: It's if you replay it, that's when you're in trouble.
9:01
SPEAKER_01: It's if you replay it, that's when you're in trouble.
9:05
SPEAKER_01: Oh, they know.
9:06
SPEAKER_01: Because they'll know.
9:08
SPEAKER_00: I think but I think I don't know where else to go with this gym.
9:12
SPEAKER_01: Honestly, I think that's a pretty great example of it, honestly.
9:16
SPEAKER_00: I think you nailed it there.
9:18
SPEAKER_00: With the X thing, yeah.
9:19
SPEAKER_00: If it's an X or just no person, or just oh, or just someone sending you a Samsy message that's like really like gaslighty or something, and you're just like, I did what I could do.
9:30
SPEAKER_00: I'm not gonna touch it.
9:32
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
9:33
SPEAKER_01: Done.
9:33
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
9:34
SPEAKER_01: You I I think you I think you're gonna get the two points for this one.
9:38
SPEAKER_01: Okay, which I think is also maybe a first time.
9:41
SPEAKER_01: Wow.
9:42
SPEAKER_01: The trend, so this is a trend where you act out something you're not supposed to be doing, usually something you love a little too much.
9:49
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
9:50
SPEAKER_01: So you definitely shouldn't be opening that text, but the keys.
9:53
SPEAKER_01: Or that Snapchat.
9:54
SPEAKER_01: Do you?
9:54
SPEAKER_01: But also and then do and hit the replay.
9:57
SPEAKER_00: Ah, I definitely want to at least see it once just to know what the hell's going on in their mind.
10:02
SPEAKER_00: And then I'll be like, you're an idiot still.
10:05
SPEAKER_00: Check.
10:06
SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh.
10:07
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
10:08
SPEAKER_00: What were what are some examples you could give me of that trend that you've seen?
10:12
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
10:13
SPEAKER_01: Like, because I know I always go with the I feel like work situation, stupid ex situation or ex-friend situation, or like just like a gross situation, or for mine, it would be definitely Sephora shopping online.
10:31
SPEAKER_01: What do you mean?
10:32
SPEAKER_01: Like adding more and more to my cart.
10:35
SPEAKER_01: Like, oh, don't touch it.
10:37
SPEAKER_00: Don't touch it.
10:38
SPEAKER_00: Oh, is that why my wish list is so long on every single list?
10:41
SPEAKER_00: Do you know how many categories of lists I have on Amazon?
10:45
SPEAKER_00: We should count.
10:47
SPEAKER_01: See, I this is why you need a storefront.
10:49
SPEAKER_01: This is why you need to apply for the Amazon influencer program.
10:53
SPEAKER_00: Well, I don't feel like I can speak for them unless I've actually ordered them.
10:56
SPEAKER_00: That's the thing.
10:56
SPEAKER_00: I haven't ordered all of these things.
10:58
SPEAKER_00: But if you ordered a lot of things on Amazon, then you should definitely.
11:02
SPEAKER_00: If Amazon is the sole reason that my household has a recycling bin.
11:07
SPEAKER_01: Okay, so then you should definitely have a storefront.
11:10
SPEAKER_01: Let me just look at my lists.
11:12
SPEAKER_01: I'm sorry.
11:13
SPEAKER_01: All you have to do is apply.
11:14
unknown: Oh my god.
11:15
SPEAKER_01: I am not a spokesperson for Amazon, but I do have a storefront.
11:18
SPEAKER_01: And I will tell you it is kind of.
11:20
SPEAKER_00: Do we have a storefront?
11:20
SPEAKER_00: I thought we're gonna open one.
11:21
SPEAKER_00: We do not.
11:22
SPEAKER_00: We're gonna open one soon.
11:24
SPEAKER_00: I just have to count these really quick, you guys.
11:28
SPEAKER_00: Just to just to see.
11:29
SPEAKER_00: How do I view all my lists?
11:30
SPEAKER_00: Don't touch it.
11:32
SPEAKER_00: I need to just I'm not gonna add it.
11:33
SPEAKER_00: Okay, touch it.
11:35
SPEAKER_00: Lists and registries.
11:37
SPEAKER_00: I have one, oh, see all.
11:39
SPEAKER_00: That's it.
11:40
SPEAKER_00: See all.
11:41
SPEAKER_00: One, two, three.
11:42
SPEAKER_00: Wait, that doesn't count.
11:44
SPEAKER_00: One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen, twenty, twenty-one, twenty-two, twenty-three, twenty-four, twenty-five, twenty-six, three, seven, twenty-eight, twenty-nine, thirty, thirty-one, thirty-two, thirty-three, thirty-four, thirty-five, thirty-six Amazon lists.
12:05
SPEAKER_01: Almost as many episodes as we have in season one.
12:08
SPEAKER_00: I have thirty-six lists on my Amazon list.
12:12
SPEAKER_01: Well, well, well.
12:13
SPEAKER_01: What is the limit?
12:14
SPEAKER_01: We will find out.
12:16
SPEAKER_01: The world may never know.
12:17
SPEAKER_01: We'll check in this time next year and see how many more categories she has.
12:21
SPEAKER_00: So, anyways, I don't touch it, I just add it to my list.
12:25
SPEAKER_00: I don't let my card touch it.
12:28
SPEAKER_00: I just add it to my list.
12:30
SPEAKER_00: Sorry, next.
12:31
SPEAKER_01: Okay, you're ready for the second trend.
12:33
SPEAKER_00: Alright, I'm ready.
12:34
SPEAKER_01: Cheers.
12:35
SPEAKER_01: That went pretty well.
12:36
SPEAKER_01: This next one is called I Want the Best for You.
12:39
SPEAKER_00: If this is being genuine, I like it and it kind of aligns with the song I heard earlier today.
12:46
SPEAKER_00: But maybe a little relationship.
12:50
SPEAKER_00: My first thought was that you know when you just are never gonna be a rude person, because I always choose to live my life of kindness, even if someone is absolutely nasty.
12:59
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, as you should.
13:01
SPEAKER_00: You know, and you say, I hope you have the day you deserve.
13:04
SPEAKER_00: Yes, I love that line.
13:05
SPEAKER_00: Or I hope you get what you deserve.
13:07
SPEAKER_00: Sweetheart.
13:08
SPEAKER_00: I hope that everything.
13:11
SPEAKER_00: I hope you get everything and more.
13:14
SPEAKER_00: And bless your heart.
13:15
SPEAKER_00: I feel like it's a little like backhanded.
13:20
SPEAKER_00: Not this trend.
13:21
SPEAKER_00: It's not okay.
13:22
SPEAKER_00: Because I'm like, this could go so many ways.
13:25
SPEAKER_00: So I hope you get what you deserve, is what it's nope.
13:28
SPEAKER_01: I I want the best for you.
13:29
SPEAKER_01: Oh, whoops.
13:30
SPEAKER_01: Sorry.
13:30
SPEAKER_00: We went down a little rabbit.
13:32
SPEAKER_00: Where's my mind going?
13:34
SPEAKER_00: Am I the best for you?
13:35
SPEAKER_00: I want the best for you.
13:38
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
13:39
SPEAKER_00: Well, honestly, last month there was a lot of graduations, there's a lot of changes in life.
13:43
SPEAKER_00: There's a lot of like babies being born, or at least like in our life.
13:48
SPEAKER_00: In like the womb.
13:50
SPEAKER_00: So I feel like that could be it.
13:53
SPEAKER_00: That's not it.
13:54
SPEAKER_01: I just say titles.
13:56
SPEAKER_01: Sorry, one more, one more time.
13:57
SPEAKER_01: I want the best for y'all.
14:00
SPEAKER_00: I feel like how you're saying it might have something to do with it.
14:05
SPEAKER_00: And I can't quite tell, can I?
14:09
SPEAKER_00: In it?
14:10
SPEAKER_00: That's fair.
14:11
SPEAKER_00: In it?
14:12
SPEAKER_00: In it?
14:13
SPEAKER_00: In the thing.
14:13
SPEAKER_00: That's what you do.
14:15
SPEAKER_00: I'm like, wait, what's the spelling?
14:17
SPEAKER_00: Alleluia.
14:18
SPEAKER_00: She goes into the show.
14:19
SPEAKER_00: Hallelujah.
14:21
SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh.
14:22
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
14:23
SPEAKER_00: In it.
14:25
SPEAKER_00: I feel like this is like what Amazon says to me.
14:29
SPEAKER_00: I want the best for you.
14:30
SPEAKER_00: Here, look at these deals.
14:32
SPEAKER_00: Or I want the best for you.
14:35
SPEAKER_00: Here's your prime days.
14:38
SPEAKER_00: Order.
14:39
SPEAKER_00: You were just so warm.
14:41
SPEAKER_01: I actually think you got there.
14:43
SPEAKER_00: Already had priced this price, but I'm telling you, it's Amazon Day, so I'm putting it down.
14:49
SPEAKER_00: It's prime days, isn't it?
14:50
SPEAKER_00: Like 124.
14:52
SPEAKER_00: Oh, that's still forever away.
14:53
SPEAKER_00: Guys, look at look at your stuff now.
14:57
SPEAKER_00: And look at the plan.
14:58
SPEAKER_00: Look at the price.
15:00
SPEAKER_00: And I want you to compare that to whatever their Amazon Day deal prices on the day.
15:10
SPEAKER_00: And I want you to see how markups work.
15:14
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
15:15
SPEAKER_00: I'm sorry.
15:17
SPEAKER_00: I love this.
15:18
SPEAKER_01: Sorry, I got off trail.
15:20
SPEAKER_01: It's funny because you Is this what it is?
15:22
SPEAKER_01: You're getting a perfect score tonight.
15:24
unknown: Thank you.
15:26
SPEAKER_01: Here's the trend.
15:27
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
15:28
SPEAKER_01: The trend is where you're reaching out to someone with a soft sell.
15:32
SPEAKER_01: Like you're on the phone with them, just trying to sell them something, but make it dramatic and relatable.
15:39
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
15:40
SPEAKER_01: So if if our podcast were to do this, it would be you on the phone just saying, Oh my gosh, but like we have our anniversary party coming up, and our merch is 15% off of you.
15:55
SPEAKER_01: It's the code STH anniversary.
15:58
SPEAKER_00: So on the Oh my gosh, and you can come enjoy our specialty cocktails.
16:03
SPEAKER_00: There's a whole menu.
16:04
SPEAKER_00: We just want what's best for you.
16:06
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it'll be a fun night.
16:07
SPEAKER_00: It's all networking.
16:09
SPEAKER_00: You'll be able to talk to a bunch of different amazing minds, and it's gonna just totally benefit you.
16:15
SPEAKER_00: We want what's best for you.
16:16
SPEAKER_00: Boom.
16:17
SPEAKER_00: Sip squad.
16:18
SPEAKER_00: Boom, boom.
16:19
SPEAKER_00: And hey, we aren't trying to sleaze anybody into anything or out of anything.
16:24
SPEAKER_00: But I get it.
16:25
SPEAKER_00: I love a soft sale.
16:26
SPEAKER_00: I'm a salesman.
16:28
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
16:28
SPEAKER_00: That's how that's my method.
16:29
SPEAKER_00: I've never been a pusher.
16:31
SPEAKER_00: Never been a pusher of things.
16:32
SPEAKER_01: That's it.
16:32
SPEAKER_01: You know what?
16:33
SPEAKER_01: I nailed it.
16:34
SPEAKER_01: You nailed both.
16:34
SPEAKER_01: You got both of them.
16:36
SPEAKER_01: You did such a I think you're getting a little bit of the hang of this.
16:39
SPEAKER_01: Or maybe it's just so incredibly tied to tonight's theme.
16:42
SPEAKER_01: Maybe it's both.
16:44
SPEAKER_01: That was kind of wild.
16:45
SPEAKER_01: Maybe it's a little bit of both.
16:46
SPEAKER_01: Might be a little bit of both.
16:47
SPEAKER_00: I feel like I have my on nights and my off nights about it.
16:51
SPEAKER_00: But I I swear I haven't seen any of these trends.
16:53
SPEAKER_00: No.
16:54
SPEAKER_00: Oh, I keep them very well hidden from her.
16:57
SPEAKER_00: I've been like in the evening, sometimes I will scroll on my Eldins to just to look at funny stuff.
17:04
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
17:04
SPEAKER_00: I guess most of mine is like animal voiceovers and I love.
17:09
SPEAKER_00: I know.
17:10
SPEAKER_00: And like cute cute little funny videos.
17:14
SPEAKER_00: So I really feel like I, you know what do you call it?
17:18
SPEAKER_00: Like my matrix or whatever.
17:20
SPEAKER_00: I really like hone it in by only liking the cute stuff.
17:24
SPEAKER_00: So I just give funny videos or cute animal videos.
17:28
SPEAKER_00: Or like rescue animal videos.
17:30
SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
17:31
SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
17:33
SPEAKER_01: Sweet babies.
17:34
SPEAKER_01: Okay, yeah.
17:34
SPEAKER_01: So I won.
17:35
SPEAKER_01: You did.
17:36
SPEAKER_01: You got a perfect score of four points tonight.
17:39
SPEAKER_01: So good job.
17:40
SPEAKER_01: Cheers to that.
17:41
SPEAKER_01: Cheers.
17:41
SPEAKER_01: What a way to go out.
17:42
SPEAKER_01: This is our last trend decoder of the season.
17:45
SPEAKER_01: So that's awesome.
17:46
SPEAKER_01: You went out with a perfect score.
17:48
SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
17:48
SPEAKER_00: Cheers to that.
17:49
SPEAKER_00: Cheers to Trendicoder.
17:52
SPEAKER_01: And thank you again for bringing you back, Tracy.
17:56
SPEAKER_01: I know.
17:56
SPEAKER_01: We love that.
17:57
SPEAKER_01: Thank you so much, Tracy.
17:58
SPEAKER_01: You're amazing.
18:00
SPEAKER_01: We love to listen to our community and their suggestions.
18:03
SPEAKER_01: So if you have a comment for us, make sure you're leaving that somewhere.
18:06
SPEAKER_01: It's been a lot of fun.
18:07
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
18:08
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
18:08
SPEAKER_01: We definitely want to make this show what you guys think it should be.
18:11
SPEAKER_01: So keep the content and comments coming.
18:16
SPEAKER_01: Okay, so now it's time for us to take a look back on season one.
18:21
SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh, I feel like we need to like have like one of those warpy effects happening right now.
18:28
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
18:29
SPEAKER_00: Like like when Raven Simone is.
18:31
SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, and that's so raven.
18:33
SPEAKER_01: That's what we have.
18:33
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so we're tight.
18:35
SPEAKER_01: That's Raven.
18:36
SPEAKER_00: So that's happened.
18:38
SPEAKER_01: And then it just starts swirling around her.
18:41
SPEAKER_01: I love that we both watched that.
18:45
SPEAKER_01: We're 13 years apart, and we both love That So Raven.
18:49
SPEAKER_01: That's fantastic.
18:50
SPEAKER_01: I really did.
18:51
SPEAKER_00: That was one of the first concerts I went to was Raven's and Wolf.
18:54
SPEAKER_01: Oh, she's so wonderful.
18:55
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think that's the first one my parents let me go to alone.
18:58
SPEAKER_00: Amazing.
18:59
SPEAKER_01: I used to I used to watch That's So Raven when I was in college.
19:03
SPEAKER_01: It was good.
19:04
SPEAKER_01: I loved it.
19:05
SPEAKER_00: She was so silly.
19:06
SPEAKER_01: She was so silly.
19:07
SPEAKER_01: Hilarious, honestly.
19:08
SPEAKER_00: I got Disney Plus and I watched back on the episodes they had on there.
19:11
SPEAKER_00: I swear there were way more episodes like in real life.
19:15
SPEAKER_00: But on there there were only like a few, but maybe I just kept rewatching.
19:19
SPEAKER_00: Like see that?
19:20
SPEAKER_00: Probably.
19:20
SPEAKER_00: Because you know there were commercials and then they'd replay the same one.
19:23
SPEAKER_00: So I don't know.
19:24
SPEAKER_00: Oh I know.
19:24
SPEAKER_00: I just maybe they didn't put them all on there.
19:27
SPEAKER_01: I'm not sure.
19:28
SPEAKER_01: It's probably because we were so young that it just seemed like there was a ton of them.
19:32
SPEAKER_01: I guess.
19:33
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, well, that's a look back in and of itself.
19:35
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it wasn't like Gilmore Girls.
19:36
SPEAKER_01: Gilmore Girls was like.
19:38
SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, so many seasons love Gilmore Girls.
19:41
SPEAKER_01: Don't even send me into that rabbit hole because it's still my comfort zone.
19:45
SPEAKER_00: You said looking back, Jen.
19:46
SPEAKER_00: I'm always looking back.
19:47
SPEAKER_00: And we really did.
19:49
SPEAKER_00: We really did time capsule.
19:52
SPEAKER_00: That's right.
19:53
SPEAKER_00: Well, before this, we started watching Gilmore Girls together when we first met.
19:58
SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh, that's so true.
20:00
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
20:01
unknown: That's nice.
20:02
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
20:02
SPEAKER_01: It was so nice to have someone to watch that with.
20:05
SPEAKER_01: Do you know our friend Hannah just started watching it for the first time through this past year?
20:10
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
20:10
SPEAKER_01: Did she like it?
20:12
SPEAKER_01: I think she was really getting into it.
20:13
SPEAKER_01: The last I heard, I think we were finding out that Dean was cheating with Rory.
20:20
SPEAKER_01: I think that's where she was at.
20:21
SPEAKER_01: And that was like closer to like after we got engaged or something.
20:25
SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
20:25
SPEAKER_01: After he was already married and he cheated with Rory.
20:28
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
20:30
SPEAKER_01: Damn, I'm gonna have to go back and watch this stuff too.
20:34
SPEAKER_01: This is why we're not team Dean.
20:36
SPEAKER_01: No, I'm Team Luke all the way.
20:38
SPEAKER_00: Oh, I love Luke.
20:39
SPEAKER_00: Give me a grumpy man that can give me coffee at any time of day.
20:43
SPEAKER_00: Fucking right.
20:43
SPEAKER_01: I definitely married that.
20:45
SPEAKER_01: And I love it.
20:46
SPEAKER_00: No comment.
20:47
SPEAKER_01: No.
20:47
SPEAKER_01: A grumpy man with a backwards hat that gives you coffee.
20:50
SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah.
20:51
SPEAKER_00: He wears his hat forward though, most of the time.
20:53
SPEAKER_01: He does do that a lot too.
20:55
unknown: Okay.
20:56
SPEAKER_01: Alright.
20:57
SPEAKER_01: So thinking back on episode one, it is so funny.
21:02
SPEAKER_01: Like to think back to that very first episode.
21:04
SPEAKER_01: We were fresh from the courtyard Marriott having uh spicy beef with Giovanna.
21:13
SPEAKER_00: Yes.
21:13
SPEAKER_00: And we were both in such different times of our like of our careers, of our everyday lives back then, of our routines.
21:20
SPEAKER_00: Sorry, I interrupted you.
21:22
SPEAKER_00: Were you going on?
21:22
SPEAKER_00: I was just beating you.
21:23
SPEAKER_00: No, no, no, no.
21:24
SPEAKER_00: I'm letting you riff.
21:25
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and and I love that our very first episode happened with our and inspired by our very first sponsor, Vue Events.
21:36
SPEAKER_00: Who could have seen that coming?
21:37
SPEAKER_01: I know.
21:38
SPEAKER_01: That's what, like this is how many months later?
21:40
SPEAKER_01: A year later.
21:42
SPEAKER_01: And now they're our sponsor.
21:43
SPEAKER_00: They're our first sponsor for two months running now.
21:46
SPEAKER_01: It's so freaking amazing.
21:47
SPEAKER_00: Yes, yes.
21:47
SPEAKER_00: So thank you again, guys.
21:49
SPEAKER_01: Shout out, shout out, shout out.
21:50
SPEAKER_01: We love you, Jamana.
21:51
SPEAKER_01: We love you, Tony.
21:52
SPEAKER_01: We love you, the VU events team.
21:54
SPEAKER_01: You guys are amazing.
21:55
SPEAKER_00: Yes, you are.
21:56
SPEAKER_00: And I just love that's full circle.
21:58
SPEAKER_00: I love it.
21:59
SPEAKER_01: It is very full circle.
22:00
SPEAKER_00: And I love just like how well hearted and like genuine our meetups have been and continue to be.
22:07
SPEAKER_00: And like that's that's what we're all about is like really connecting with the people that we connect with.
22:13
SPEAKER_00: We're not gonna just like throw something out there and be like, oh, maybe one day we'll get to get there.
22:17
SPEAKER_01: No, that's not no, we mean it.
22:19
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we mean it.
22:20
SPEAKER_01: We mean it.
22:21
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
22:21
SPEAKER_01: If we want to, if we want to hang out, we say we want to hang out, we mean it.
22:26
SPEAKER_00: And we'll put it on the books.
22:27
SPEAKER_00: That's right.
22:29
SPEAKER_00: And yeah, so I'm just so proud of everybody.
22:33
SPEAKER_00: Day one.
22:34
SPEAKER_00: So we went back to day one.
22:35
SPEAKER_00: That's crazy.
22:36
SPEAKER_00: I'm just so proud to see how everybody's come.
22:39
SPEAKER_00: I know.
22:40
SPEAKER_00: Even us since day one.
22:42
SPEAKER_01: Like our format.
22:43
SPEAKER_01: Like, oh, and speaking of chair cutters.
22:45
SPEAKER_01: Didn't like didn't we start with this?
22:48
SPEAKER_01: Like you guessing the trends wasn't like that part of the very first.
22:51
SPEAKER_00: I think that was one of the first within the first month or so we started doing that.
22:57
SPEAKER_01: I think it was too.
22:57
SPEAKER_01: I think this or that came later.
22:59
SPEAKER_01: We haven't done this or that in a really long time.
23:02
SPEAKER_01: We do that only with guests now, and it's not a it's not a contest anymore.
23:06
SPEAKER_01: As of right now, I'm sure we'll bring it back because it's yeah, it's pretty funny.
23:10
SPEAKER_00: That with with guests is more of like I think if we have four, I think we should start.
23:14
SPEAKER_00: If we have like two and two, we should team.
23:17
SPEAKER_00: Oh, so like they can so like we can be like who knows each other best, and they can be like who knows each other best.
23:22
SPEAKER_00: We should do that.
23:23
SPEAKER_00: I also love that idea.
23:24
SPEAKER_00: But and we can make it more of a competition that way, and it'll be fun.
23:27
SPEAKER_01: But I just have loved it.
23:29
SPEAKER_01: Or we can make it a tiebreaker if there's only three of us.
23:32
SPEAKER_01: Our guest is the tiebreaker.
23:34
SPEAKER_01: I'm sure we'll get creative.
23:35
SPEAKER_01: Or it's across the board.
23:37
SPEAKER_01: We have like here's the thing season one has inspired so many freaking ideas.
23:42
SPEAKER_01: We didn't even know this was going to be a podcast that hosted guests, didn't we?
23:48
SPEAKER_01: We were definitely obviously open to the idea.
23:52
SPEAKER_01: But when Jenny from Heretic Candles came to us and was like, hey, I'd love to be a guest on your podcast, we're like, okay, let's happen.
24:03
SPEAKER_00: You're right.
24:04
SPEAKER_00: So very great.
24:05
SPEAKER_00: First shout out to Jenny from Heretic Candles.
24:10
SPEAKER_00: You were our very first guest.
24:12
SPEAKER_00: Yes.
24:13
SPEAKER_00: And we recorded at Harvester Arts.
24:16
SPEAKER_00: Yep.
24:16
SPEAKER_00: And it was amazing.
24:18
SPEAKER_00: And it was so great to have that space.
24:20
SPEAKER_00: And my gosh, she even brought her own little like premix.
24:24
SPEAKER_00: What did she make?
24:24
SPEAKER_00: It was some sort of cider.
24:26
SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, because it was false.
24:27
SPEAKER_00: Or something.
24:27
SPEAKER_00: Because it was false.
24:28
SPEAKER_00: It was a cocktail.
24:29
SPEAKER_00: And she brought her little candle, really set the vibe.
24:31
SPEAKER_00: That's all what she's about, guys.
24:33
SPEAKER_00: She sets the vibe romanticizing your life.
24:36
SPEAKER_00: She likes to romanticize the moment.
24:38
SPEAKER_00: She really likes to make every moment intentional.
24:40
SPEAKER_00: That is like so warming to her brand.
24:44
SPEAKER_00: I love it.
24:45
SPEAKER_00: We loved it.
24:46
SPEAKER_00: And she really set us on fire.
24:48
SPEAKER_00: She really did.
24:49
SPEAKER_00: Like she opened.
24:50
SPEAKER_00: She set us on fire just like her candles.
24:52
SPEAKER_01: She sure did.
24:53
SPEAKER_01: Oh, I love that so much.
24:54
SPEAKER_01: Cheers to that.
24:55
SPEAKER_01: Cheers to you, Jenny.
24:56
SPEAKER_01: Cheers to you.
24:57
SPEAKER_01: She really set something off here, and we appreciate you.
25:00
SPEAKER_00: And you do in a lot of people's lives and in a lot of people's moments.
25:03
SPEAKER_00: And I I love that you continue to do that for yourself and for all of us.
25:07
SPEAKER_01: And she, it's funny because she opened some other doors for us.
25:12
SPEAKER_01: We, because of her episode, we had Kristen Beale from Harvester Art Fon.
25:17
SPEAKER_01: Yes.
25:18
SPEAKER_01: Oh, whatever.
25:20
SPEAKER_01: That is still our top most downloaded episode of all time.
25:23
SPEAKER_01: Honestly, amazing woman.
25:25
SPEAKER_00: The information her story, everything she did to set up everything she has on a straw is amazing.
25:31
SPEAKER_01: It's insane to me.
25:32
SPEAKER_01: I would love to touch back with her and see where she's at now.
25:35
SPEAKER_01: I really would too.
25:36
SPEAKER_01: I know that they're constantly having like really cool events going on all the time.
25:40
SPEAKER_01: Like she is.
25:41
SPEAKER_00: I feel like I need to go into that place every week to sure it changes all the time.
25:47
SPEAKER_00: Because every time we've gone in, it's different.
25:48
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
25:49
SPEAKER_00: Who is this team that's setting things up and taking them out?
25:51
SPEAKER_00: It's like they're ghosts in the night.
25:53
SPEAKER_00: So elusive.
25:54
SPEAKER_00: Like every time I've gone in there, it's something new.
25:56
SPEAKER_00: It's amazing.
25:57
SPEAKER_00: It is crazier.
25:58
SPEAKER_00: It makes you think and makes you just go, whoa, or inspires you.
26:02
SPEAKER_01: It's really neat.
26:03
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
26:04
SPEAKER_01: Well, I it's it's so crazy too because thinking back on the other door that Jenny opened for us, Ballet Wichita.
26:12
SPEAKER_01: Like I know that I knew Brent personally before this, but the it's just so really fun.
26:19
SPEAKER_01: I feel like this happens and it's happened so many times in the past year.
26:24
SPEAKER_01: There's a couple dots that are connected.
26:26
SPEAKER_00: It's like and then they just make a constellation.
26:28
SPEAKER_00: It's like one of those, like in those books, and there's like numbers to dots, and you get one, two, three.
26:33
SPEAKER_00: Where's the fourth one?
26:34
SPEAKER_00: Oh, there it is.
26:35
SPEAKER_00: Now it makes a full shape.
26:36
SPEAKER_00: Oh, wait, there's Brent.
26:37
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
26:38
SPEAKER_00: Oh, there he is.
26:39
SPEAKER_00: So champagne and caviar bobs.
26:41
SPEAKER_00: Got it.
26:41
SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, I have an idea.
26:42
SPEAKER_00: We should make one of those books.
26:44
SPEAKER_01: That would be so much fun.
26:46
SPEAKER_00: But like with each one of our people's names.
26:48
SPEAKER_01: Oh my god.
26:49
SPEAKER_00: And oh my god, and have it be our logo.
26:52
SPEAKER_00: Write that down.
26:53
SPEAKER_01: So we have a notebook out tonight.
26:55
SPEAKER_01: We're taking notes and we're also remembering things with it.
26:58
SPEAKER_00: This is the notebook I first bought.
27:00
SPEAKER_00: Yes, from the dollar store, don't judge me.
27:02
SPEAKER_00: It's cute, it has disco balls on it.
27:04
SPEAKER_00: We love disco balls.
27:05
SPEAKER_00: And it was a dollar and 25 cents.
27:08
SPEAKER_00: So the dollar store has become a dollar and some quarters store.
27:13
SPEAKER_01: But in this economy, I got gas today.

SPEAKER_00: And I liked it for a lot of reasons.
53:36
SPEAKER_00: It resonated with me within friendships, relationships, past memories, even like family, like not like the you know, some lyrics more than others.
53:47
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, obviously.
53:49
SPEAKER_00: But as far as like long live, I think after I get past like in any, even if it's like a painful breakup or something, after I get past that part, I always look back on something and say, like, you know what, like that was a beautiful feeling.
54:04
SPEAKER_00: That's why I do say yes to love so many times, is because I do want to be like, yes, I love this feeling.
54:10
SPEAKER_00: I want to always live in this moment, I want to experience this moment, and I always do want the best for the people that I do choose to love, no matter what.
54:20
SPEAKER_00: And I also want the best for the people's families that I choose to love, whether it be their kids, whether it be their mom or dad, like their families, everything, anybody that I meet that's related to that person, like I want the best for them.
54:35
SPEAKER_00: And it made me kind of feel like that a lot when she said certain lines of the song that kind of related.
54:41
SPEAKER_00: She's like, if you ever have kids and like I want you to know that like I I'm rooting for them, basically, is kind of what she was saying.
54:48
SPEAKER_00: And I feel that.
54:50
SPEAKER_00: Like I feel that with a lot of it.
54:51
SPEAKER_00: Like, if I were to look back on my first relationship ever in high school, hell yeah.
54:58
SPEAKER_00: Like, I don't have any hard feelings out.
55:01
SPEAKER_00: Maybe back then I was sad, but I don't remember that now.
55:04
SPEAKER_00: Like, I I want the best.
55:05
SPEAKER_00: Like, I remember those fun times, I remember the beauty of those moments, and I think that that's a safe, awesome, warm place that you can get and that you can focus on.
55:17
SPEAKER_00: You can't do it right there in the moment, obviously.
55:20
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but looking back at that's like kind of the feeling I would like to have with all past relationships, whether it be a friend, whether it be a boyfriend, whether it be a girlfriend, whatever.
55:30
SPEAKER_00: I think those are all moments you should look back on with those things, like hey, long live that moment, long live that feeling, but not love, long live our relationship necessarily, you know.
55:44
SPEAKER_00: Sure, yeah.
55:45
SPEAKER_01: I think that's totally fair.
55:47
SPEAKER_00: But you should never give up on that feeling.
55:50
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
55:50
SPEAKER_00: Even if it did go sour with that person.
55:53
SPEAKER_00: I think that's kind of how I've chosen to live my life.
55:56
SPEAKER_00: So I really appreciated that she took this song in like a really positive aspect in that mean, in like that, you know, manner, if that makes sense.
56:06
SPEAKER_00: That makes that sense.
56:07
SPEAKER_00: I think that's so incredibly m healthy and rational, you know.
56:11
SPEAKER_00: I think that's kind of how I took it for the most part.
56:14
SPEAKER_00: And I kind of thought, like, I could, like I said, I could think about that with my you know, my first relationship I ever had in high school that was like now I look back and I'm like, hell yeah, I hope he's doing great, like I hope his family's doing great, I hope his kids are doing great, like I want the best for him and all his family and everybody.
56:30
SPEAKER_00: You know, if I ever were to see him in pro public, I'd be like, oh wow, look at them.
56:33
SPEAKER_00: Shine on, shine on, buddy.
56:36
SPEAKER_00: Like, and no, nothing weird, you know.
56:38
SPEAKER_00: That's the goal.
56:39
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's the goal.
56:41
SPEAKER_00: That's what you want.
56:42
SPEAKER_00: If you have ever said goodbye to anybody, that that'd be ideal.
56:46
SPEAKER_00: Of course, there are some where you're like, oh, I still fucking hit you.
56:49
SPEAKER_00: But I mean, but I also still choose to have that part that is like, shine on.
56:55
SPEAKER_00: I want the best for you.
56:56
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
56:56
SPEAKER_00: And I genuinely mean it.
56:58
SPEAKER_00: For those that I'm like, fuck you.
57:00
SPEAKER_00: For some of them.
57:01
SPEAKER_00: There's always gonna be the best.
57:02
SPEAKER_00: But that's not what I got out of this song.
57:04
SPEAKER_00: Absolutely not.
57:05
SPEAKER_00: But I actually think about that a lot too.
57:08
SPEAKER_00: It kind of again had that nostalgia feeling.
57:10
SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
57:11
SPEAKER_00: So I got that with again, like with past relationships, this nostalgia of just being young, not even necessarily being in that relationship, but just being young and running around freely with somebody, and like she mentions fighting dragons together a lot or magic and fighting magic dragons or something like that.
57:31
SPEAKER_00: And I think that's just amazingly fun.
57:32
SPEAKER_00: You know, I've always been a whimsy kind of gal.
57:34
SPEAKER_00: Yep.
57:35
SPEAKER_00: So I love that idea, and I love that.
57:38
SPEAKER_00: I think that I have a lot of that with even friends that I knew that I had that were kind of just for the moment or for the season.
57:45
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
57:46
SPEAKER_00: Um, that faded out.
57:47
SPEAKER_00: I still, whenever I think of them, I don't have any ill feelings.
57:50
SPEAKER_00: I just think that was so fun.
57:53
SPEAKER_00: We ran through the fields together, we fought dragons, we experienced these things, we had crazy laughs, we we I may have cried, we saw the thunder, we saw the sunrise, you know, we did the things, and we're good.
58:11
SPEAKER_00: Even if we don't talk anymore.
58:13
SPEAKER_00: I think that's cool.
58:14
SPEAKER_00: And then thinking about it too, where you and I are at, it made me feel like look at all of the things we've been through, and we're still together.
58:25
SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay.
58:26
SPEAKER_00: And we fought the dragons.
58:28
SPEAKER_00: Long live us.
58:29
SPEAKER_00: Long live us.
58:30
SPEAKER_00: Long live so this happened.
58:32
SPEAKER_00: Long live Jen and Rachel.
58:35
SPEAKER_00: I think so.
58:37
SPEAKER_00: I know so.
58:38
SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, for sure.
58:40
SPEAKER_00: I don't doubt that at all.
58:41
SPEAKER_00: So that's my interpretation.
58:44
SPEAKER_01: But did you justice?
58:45
SPEAKER_01: I think you did a great job.
58:49
SPEAKER_01: So I love this song so much.
58:53
SPEAKER_01: This is a song, and I know.
58:55
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you said you were tearing up.
58:57
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
58:57
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I know.
58:58
SPEAKER_01: Like you no, it's okay.
59:00
SPEAKER_01: I think you'll understand this a little more once I explain.
59:02
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
59:03
SPEAKER_01: That's why we do this segment.
59:04
SPEAKER_00: Exactly, because we take it so different.
59:07
SPEAKER_01: So the part of the beauty of this segment is I know a lot of the lore behind the songs that Rachel doesn't necessarily know.
59:16
SPEAKER_01: So this is the first time that she's hearing this song.
59:19
SPEAKER_01: Whereas this is a song that I've known for many years, and as a Swifty, which you don't even have to do the clothes.
59:27
SPEAKER_01: I no, I can't even I can't even air quote that.
59:30
SPEAKER_01: We may as well just as a complete and solid Swifty.
59:33
SPEAKER_01: I've got to give you a crown that just when we do this segment.
59:37
SPEAKER_01: Um, I I do I know I love the lore behind this song.
59:42
SPEAKER_01: Give it to me.
59:44
SPEAKER_01: So this is a love song to her fans.
59:47
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that she wrote to her fans.
59:49
SPEAKER_01: That makes sense.
59:50
SPEAKER_01: Um, you know, to the knights of the full stadiums for her very first time feeling that feeling of being on stage in front of so many people and hearing people, you know, scream her name and wow, and crazy.
1:00:08
SPEAKER_01: Holding up the trophy for her town.
1:00:11
SPEAKER_01: There's so many things to this song that like now, if you think about it, like she this was on her second album, and the the only version that I have of this song on my phone is the live version from the first time she sang it in concert.
1:00:26
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and see, I listened to just like the one that I think was redone.
1:00:29
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, the Taylor's version.
1:00:31
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, that was just redone a few years ago.
1:00:33
SPEAKER_01: The only song, the only time I've ever heard it is live, and then of course on the Eras Tour many times because I've watched the Earestour final show so many times.
1:00:45
SPEAKER_01: How many, Jen?
1:00:46
SPEAKER_01: I don't even know.
1:00:47
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
1:00:48
SPEAKER_01: I know it's at least two.
1:00:50
SPEAKER_01: Many more than that.
1:00:52
SPEAKER_01: I don't think came out like last year, uh, a couple years ago, but then they also did the final show, which came out a few months ago, and then they have the documentary, which I love to rewatch and cry to.
1:01:03
SPEAKER_01: But I know I know.
1:01:07
SPEAKER_01: I'm laughing for you.
1:01:09
SPEAKER_01: Okay, yes.
1:01:10
SPEAKER_01: So, but yeah, so this is a love song to her fans.
1:01:14
SPEAKER_01: I love that.
1:01:14
SPEAKER_01: I there's so many fun chiefs.
1:01:16
SPEAKER_01: Like, she didn't know this back when she wrote this song.
1:01:19
SPEAKER_01: This is a really long decade before she ever got with Travis Kelsey.
1:01:23
SPEAKER_01: But I love that she says something about the kingdom in that song because you know, we know ourselves as Chiefs Kingdom, right?
1:01:31
SPEAKER_01: Oh Chief's Kingdom.
1:01:34
SPEAKER_01: Okay, I there's so many parts of this song, but then it's like when you pass the pictures around, if your children ask about, you know, pointed the pictures, please tell them my name.
1:01:44
SPEAKER_01: That's the part that I'm always like stop it.
1:01:47
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but you know, when I think about that, like I like I'm not even gonna have to tell my kids your name because anytime I pointed a picture of Rachel, they know Rachel, they love Aunt Rachel.
1:01:59
SPEAKER_01: But I picked the song for this episode specifically for our sip squad and for our community because you guys have gotten us where we are.
1:02:08
SPEAKER_00: That makes sense.
1:02:09
SPEAKER_00: So shout out to you for fighting magic dragons with us.
1:02:13
SPEAKER_01: Yes, that's right.
1:02:14
SPEAKER_01: And for like we could have never gotten on the main stage at Riverfest without you guys.
1:02:19
SPEAKER_01: That's insane to even think about.
1:02:21
SPEAKER_01: You guys are our kingdom, you're our kingdom, and so long live the Sip Squad.
1:02:26
SPEAKER_00: Long live the Sip Squad.
1:02:28
SPEAKER_00: Long live so this happened.
1:02:30
SPEAKER_00: Long live us.
1:02:32
SPEAKER_01: Woo! I love it so much.
1:02:34
SPEAKER_01: So, yes, so yeah, there it is.
1:02:38
SPEAKER_01: I love that.
1:02:39
SPEAKER_01: I do too.
1:02:39
SPEAKER_01: Like that is a yeah, so that's why I get really emotional on that side.
1:02:43
SPEAKER_00: Why I felt like it was so well-rounded because I was like, I feel like I could relate this.
1:02:46
SPEAKER_00: It's just all good vibes.
1:02:47
SPEAKER_00: I feel like I could relate this to like just wanting the best for everybody.
1:02:51
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
1:02:52
SPEAKER_00: Whether it's friend, whether it's past foe, whether it's like, you know, an ex, whether it's a family member, and it felt nostalgic and it felt like overwhelmingly just like that's how I want to live with everybody I encounter.
1:03:05
SPEAKER_00: It's like I hope the best for you.
1:03:08
SPEAKER_00: And and when people are feeding that back to you, that's what really helps you succeed.
1:03:12
SPEAKER_00: It really is.
1:03:13
SPEAKER_00: And I think that that's like kind of the mode that everyone should live in, just in everyday life.
1:03:18
SPEAKER_00: Is he we're all out here struggling?
1:03:23
SPEAKER_00: That's so true.
1:03:24
SPEAKER_00: Can we all just like hope for one another?
1:03:28
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that'd be amazing.
1:03:30
SPEAKER_01: That would be great.
1:03:32
SPEAKER_01: So let's all do that.
1:03:35
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
1:03:36
SPEAKER_01: Well, I'm I'm sure that is something that we can absolutely charge our Sip Squad with because they're fantastic people, they're uplifting people, they are motivating people, and yay.
1:03:47
SPEAKER_01: And we have a lot to look forward to with you guys.
1:03:49
SPEAKER_01: So long live the Sip Squad.
1:03:52
SPEAKER_01: Love the Sub Squad! Love the Sip Squad! Woo! Um, okay, so we have a lot to look forward to going forward in season two, but we still have one more episode, which will be episode 50 of season one with Nickela from Planted, the pop-up tea shop.
1:04:10
SPEAKER_01: And so we will be hanging out with her next week in Revolucia.
1:04:13
SPEAKER_01: Yes.
1:04:14
SPEAKER_01: So excited to meet her.
1:04:16
SPEAKER_01: I think we're gonna have an incredible discussion while we sip some tea and spill the tea.
1:04:20
SPEAKER_01: I'm excited to sip tea, spill tea, all the tea.
1:04:24
SPEAKER_01: I know she has an event that she's promoting, which will be on July 11th.
1:04:29
SPEAKER_01: Oh, the day before our party.
1:04:32
SPEAKER_01: And it will be just Catty Cornered Bubbles at the old espresso to go go from 3 to 7 p.m.
1:04:38
SPEAKER_01: on July 11th.
1:04:39
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
1:04:40
SPEAKER_00: 3 to 7 p.m.
1:04:41
SPEAKER_00: on July 11th.
1:04:43
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we'll be talking all about that on episode 50.
1:04:45
SPEAKER_01: So make sure you're listening up next week when we hang out with her.
1:04:49
SPEAKER_01: It's gonna be cool.
1:04:50
SPEAKER_01: I love that we're recording at Revolution.
1:04:53
SPEAKER_01: I know we haven't recorded there yet.
1:04:55
SPEAKER_01: We have not.
1:04:55
SPEAKER_01: I think that we've been there quite a few times.
1:04:58
SPEAKER_01: We sure have.
1:04:59
SPEAKER_01: I think that's gonna be a really cool setup.
1:05:01
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm excited to see what the setup's like in the little shop.
1:05:04
SPEAKER_00: I'm really pumped.
1:05:05
SPEAKER_00: Um, I guess we're recording in a gallery of it.
1:05:08
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, in an art gallery.
1:05:09
SPEAKER_01: So, you know, that's always fun.
1:05:10
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we love to kind of dig those.
1:05:12
SPEAKER_01: Of course, wonderful shows like this cannot happen without wonderful sponsors.
1:05:16
SPEAKER_01: So we have to give another thank you to Vu Event, Javon and her amazing team.
1:05:21
SPEAKER_00: We love you.
1:05:22
SPEAKER_00: We love you.
1:05:23
SPEAKER_00: Amazing.
1:05:24
SPEAKER_00: Thank you so much.
1:05:25
SPEAKER_00: You guys are amazing.
1:05:27
SPEAKER_00: We really appreciate everything you do.
1:05:29
SPEAKER_00: We appreciate all the outreach you give us, all the support you give us.
1:05:33
SPEAKER_00: You guys are amazing.
1:05:34
SPEAKER_00: You always have our back, and we love you so much.
1:05:37
SPEAKER_01: And don't forget, on July 12th, we have our anniversary party from two to four at Bubbles.
1:05:43
SPEAKER_01: A lot of cool little treats coming up because you know, we have VU events sponsoring that party and helping us plan.
1:05:50
SPEAKER_01: We have a really cool collab with Bella Bonita Designs that we're very excited about.
1:05:55
SPEAKER_01: Yes, that party is called Unhinged, Uncorked and Bubbling Over.
1:06:01
SPEAKER_01: So that means that our uncorked and slightly unhinged merch is now 15% off using the code STH Anniversary through July 31st.
1:06:12
SPEAKER_01: So make sure you grab some of that and wear it to the party because I know I'll be wearing it.
1:06:17
SPEAKER_01: So yeah.
1:06:18
SPEAKER_01: I know.
1:06:19
SPEAKER_00: I'm excited.
1:06:20
SPEAKER_00: I'm so excited.
1:06:22
SPEAKER_00: We have a lot of fun things coming up.
1:06:24
SPEAKER_00: I want you guys to come to the party with all the ideas and all of the fun and all the things.
1:06:27
SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, come with your ideas.
1:06:29
SPEAKER_01: We want to hear what you guys want.
1:06:30
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
1:06:31
SPEAKER_01: In the meantime, make sure that you like, subscribe, review, follow us on Spotify, on YouTube, wherever you get your podcasts.
1:06:39
SPEAKER_01: Yep.
1:06:40
SPEAKER_01: And I guess we will catch you in episode 40.
1:06:43
SPEAKER_01: Not 40, in episode 50 of So this happened.
1:06:47
SPEAKER_00: Episode freaking 50, guys.
1:06:49
SPEAKER_00: That's happening right.
1:06:50
SPEAKER_00: So this happened.
1:06:51
SPEAKER_00: I'm Rachel.
1:06:52
SPEAKER_00: I'm Jen.
1:06:53
SPEAKER_00: Cheers.
1:06:53
SPEAKER_00: Cheers, guys.
