- 0:13Speaker 1: Hello you guys, Welcome back to another episode of the
- 0:16Speaker 1: Hot Gral Energy Podcast. I'm your host, Kaylie, and this
- 0:18Speaker 1: is your weekly reminder that it's a new day, a
- 0:21Speaker 1: new week, a new mindset, and another day for you
- 0:23Speaker 1: to become the hot Girl Energy you want to attract.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Hello you guys, Happy Wednesday. We are really excited about
- 0:32Speaker 1: today's episode. Okay, I am so excited to talk about
- 0:35Speaker 1: things that I find incredibly chic. And this is something
- 0:39Speaker 1: that I've seen posted on TikTok honestly for years, and
- 0:42Speaker 1: I feel like I've never done an episode dedicated to
- 0:44Speaker 1: things that I personally think are really chic or just
- 0:47Speaker 1: things that I really want to do to elevate my life.
- 0:52Speaker 1: And this could be anything in relation to your style,
- 0:56Speaker 1: things that you do, things in your home, like things
- 0:59Speaker 1: that I see that another girl has that I'm like,
- 1:02Speaker 1: she is so effortlessly cool, Like I want to be
- 1:05Speaker 1: like that, you know what I mean? Like when I
- 1:06Speaker 1: see another girl do this or have this, it makes
- 1:09Speaker 1: me want it because I think she looks super incredibly chic.
- 1:13Speaker 1: So that's what today's episode is really gonna be about,
- 1:15Speaker 1: is just really talking about how to elevate our lives
- 1:19Speaker 1: making things more chic in our life almost again, kind
- 1:22Speaker 1: of in relation to romanticizing our life by maybe investing
- 1:26Speaker 1: in things that make us feel more put together, more chic.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Of course, I think a lot of girls love that
- 1:31Speaker 1: they love to look expensive, but maybe not actually spend
- 1:36Speaker 1: that type of price tag, if that makes sense.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Like, I really want it to be about just us.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Feeling more chic, feeling more elevated, just kind of redefining
- 1:45Speaker 1: ourselves and doing little things that can make us feel
- 1:49Speaker 1: more put together. But before we get in today's episode,
- 1:52Speaker 1: I wanted to do a little bit of a weekly recap. Honestly, guys,
- 1:55Speaker 1: life has been super busy. I am entering the busiest
- 1:58Speaker 1: time of the year for me for work. Obviously, it's
- 2:01Speaker 1: the holidays. Black Friday's coming up, so I feel like
- 2:03Speaker 1: I have a lot of stuff just kind of coming
- 2:05Speaker 1: in and I'm trying to manage my time as best
- 2:08Speaker 1: as I can, and of course always try and make
- 2:10Speaker 1: the podcast a priority. But you know, I am recording
- 2:13Speaker 1: this on a Wednesday morning, so this is not what
- 2:15Speaker 1: I typically do. I obviously usually record the episodes on Tuesday,
- 2:18Speaker 1: but because work's been so busy, I'm sorry if things
- 2:21Speaker 1: kind of just get uploaded late at the end of
- 2:23Speaker 1: the day. I'm just proud of getting an episode up
- 2:26Speaker 1: throughout the week. That's all I care about, and I
- 2:28Speaker 1: think you guys obviously care too, just to kind of
- 2:30Speaker 1: have an episode up for the week. So definitely always
- 2:33Speaker 1: trying my best, but sometimes kind of hard to manage
- 2:35Speaker 1: everything going on. And on top of that, if you
- 2:38Speaker 1: guys follow me on Instagram and TikTok or you know
- 2:40Speaker 1: you've been up to date with the podcast episodes, then
- 2:42Speaker 1: you guys know that Zach and I are building a
- 2:44Speaker 1: house and we are nine months away from move in,
- 2:48Speaker 1: so it seems like a long time, but it really isn't.
- 2:52Speaker 2: And they need everything when it comes to the design of.
- 2:55Speaker 1: The house all before the beginning of January, so you
- 2:59Speaker 1: can imagine how stressful things have been these past few
- 3:03Speaker 1: weeks just attending meetings zoom calls with our interior designers.
- 3:07Speaker 1: We did hire interior designers, and I could briefly chat
- 3:10Speaker 1: about that for anyone that's interested in knowing my thoughts
- 3:13Speaker 1: about hiring an interior designer. But I truly feel like
- 3:17Speaker 1: already being a month into this with them, it has
- 3:21Speaker 1: been truly beyond helpful like they have been absolutely amazing.
- 3:26Speaker 2: I hired two girls. Their names are Shannon and Jamie.
- 3:29Speaker 1: I hired them because I actually have been following them
- 3:32Speaker 1: for years and a lot of the home decor items
- 3:35Speaker 1: that I actually purchased for this house was literally based
- 3:38Speaker 1: off of their decor, Like they were posting stuff on Instagram,
- 3:42Speaker 1: and when I bought this house, I loved their style
- 3:44Speaker 1: and I was like adding things to Kart that they
- 3:46Speaker 1: inspired me to buy from, like Creighton, Baryl, ceb two
- 3:49Speaker 1: all that just like really discovering my love for design
- 3:52Speaker 1: through them. And so when I decided that I wanted
- 3:56Speaker 1: to do an interior designer for this house, I immediately
- 3:58Speaker 1: thought of them because I'm like, they're two girls that
- 4:00Speaker 1: I've just been following for so long and was so
- 4:03Speaker 1: so happy that we were able to hire them for
- 4:05Speaker 1: the house. So they have been such a huge inspiration
- 4:08Speaker 1: for me. And so obviously I really love home design
- 4:11Speaker 1: and I feel like I really have a good eye
- 4:13Speaker 1: for certain things when it comes to interior design.
- 4:16Speaker 2: But I really just wanted the extra.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Help because when you're building a house with a builder,
- 4:21Speaker 1: there is a lot of little things that you don't
- 4:24Speaker 1: realize that can add up and I feel like the
- 4:27Speaker 1: interior designer kind of knows ways to give your house
- 4:30Speaker 1: that custom look, but finding ways to cut costs where
- 4:34Speaker 1: you're actually getting a better looking kitchen or a better
- 4:37Speaker 1: looking pantry and actually like not having to pay double
- 4:41Speaker 1: the price. And I don't know, there's just like a
- 4:44Speaker 1: lot of things that I've learned through them that I'm
- 4:46Speaker 1: obviously happy to share through my socials of how they're
- 4:49Speaker 1: helping me find ways to kind of like make the
- 4:51Speaker 1: house feel more custom and less builder. So so far,
- 4:54Speaker 1: I'm already really happy with the decision. And again I'm
- 4:57Speaker 1: definitely obviously creating all the inspo, like everything see that's
- 5:00Speaker 1: coming to life with the kitchen and the pantry, Like
- 5:02Speaker 1: this is all things that I'm like, this is my
- 5:04Speaker 1: vision and I'm sending it to them, and they're creating
- 5:07Speaker 1: the vision and bringing it to life. So it's truly
- 5:10Speaker 1: a two man team, Like I'm obviously a huge benefit
- 5:13Speaker 1: and they're obviously a huge benefit. So us being a
- 5:16Speaker 1: team together is really just bringing the.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Vision to life. And I'm so excited.
- 5:19Speaker 1: So if you want to see how's content, definitely posting
- 5:21Speaker 1: a lot these next few weeks, and it's all been
- 5:23Speaker 1: very very exciting, and then Christmas decor is all up.
- 5:26Speaker 1: I'm obviously fully in the Christmas mood. I'm starting to
- 5:29Speaker 1: plan stuff for December now with my girlfriends, just like
- 5:32Speaker 1: planning fun activities like going to Christmas markets, spa day's dinner,
- 5:36Speaker 1: nights out all that. I think next episode will really
- 5:39Speaker 1: be about kind of like a holiday bucket list of
- 5:42Speaker 1: things that you can do throughout December to really get
- 5:44Speaker 1: you in the holiday spirit or just the holiday mood.
- 5:47Speaker 1: So stay tuned for that episode. But I'm definitely figuring
- 5:50Speaker 1: out my plans for the holidays, getting excited. I cannot
- 5:53Speaker 1: believe that we're almost in twenty twenty six. I'm also
- 5:56Speaker 1: starting to plan, you know, some glow up locked in
- 6:01Speaker 1: episodes for you girls to feel really motivated going into
- 6:05Speaker 1: a new year. Obviously talking about vision boards, how we're
- 6:08Speaker 1: going to manifest our dream life going into a new year.
- 6:12Speaker 2: We're also going to.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Talk about how to review your twenty twenty five year
- 6:17Speaker 1: and everything that you accomplished and go into new goals
- 6:21Speaker 1: that you want to achieve for the new year.
- 6:23Speaker 2: So obviously have a lot of fun episodes coming up.
- 6:25Speaker 2: This is truly my favorite time of the year.
- 6:27Speaker 1: To create episodes because I always feel so inspired going
- 6:30Speaker 1: into a new year, and obviously.
- 6:32Speaker 2: The holidays is super inspiring.
- 6:33Speaker 1: I'll also do another gift guide episode if you guys
- 6:36Speaker 1: want of ideas of what to get your loved ones,
- 6:39Speaker 1: you know, best friends, gifts under one hundred dollars, gifts
- 6:42Speaker 1: for yourself all that. Happy to do an episode like
- 6:44Speaker 1: that if you guys like that as well. But I
- 6:46Speaker 1: am creating gift guides currently on a platform that you
- 6:50Speaker 1: guys can shop off of, So what I'll be able
- 6:52Speaker 1: to do is do an episode like that and then
- 6:54Speaker 1: have all the links available for you guys if you
- 6:56Speaker 1: guys are needing some help with your Christmas shopping this year.
- 6:59Speaker 2: So that's a little update from me and some stuff
- 7:01Speaker 2: that's going on.
- 7:02Speaker 1: But let's get into today's episode and how we're going
- 7:05Speaker 1: to elevate our life and things that I find incredibly chic.
- 7:08Speaker 1: The first thing that I find very chic is when
- 7:11Speaker 1: I see a girl layer her jewelry, like in a
- 7:14Speaker 1: very simplistic but elegant way. When I see all of
- 7:18Speaker 1: her bracelet stacks, when she has an earring stack. I
- 7:21Speaker 1: love when girls have like two to three piercings on
- 7:24Speaker 1: their ears and they either do like a really nice
- 7:27Speaker 1: like stud stack or like a hoop and then studs.
- 7:30Speaker 1: You can also just tell when someone has like good
- 7:33Speaker 1: quality jewelry or designer pieces, and I just find it
- 7:36Speaker 1: incredibly chic. I also love when girls wear like a
- 7:40Speaker 1: staple earring with a simple outfit. So if you're wearing
- 7:43Speaker 1: like a black T shirt with a nice pair of
- 7:45Speaker 1: dark denim jeans and then you have like a nice
- 7:47Speaker 1: gold staple earring that just kind of like pops out
- 7:50Speaker 1: with like a slick ponytail, like that to me is
- 7:54Speaker 1: so chic.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Like if I saw a girl like having that entire outfit,
- 7:58Speaker 2: I would literally want to be friends with her. I'd
- 7:59Speaker 2: be like, Okay, he looks so put together. The second
- 8:02Speaker 2: one is just having a perfect wardrobe.
- 8:04Speaker 1: And what I mean by that is just someone that
- 8:06Speaker 1: has like a very simple style, but you can just
- 8:09Speaker 1: tell their like effortlessly cool, just have a really really
- 8:13Speaker 1: good fashion sense.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Doesn't really buy.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Branded things like very much like simple design really just
- 8:19Speaker 1: kind of like basic shirts, basic jeans, but looks really elevated.
- 8:24Speaker 1: Like I love a good Beggy White tea with dark
- 8:27Speaker 1: denim jeans like that combo to me is so so beautiful.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Like think of a crisp brand new white T shirt
- 8:33Speaker 1: that a girl would wear with just like really really.
- 8:36Speaker 2: Nice hair again, really nice pair of jeans.
- 8:39Speaker 1: A simple handbag like that to me just gives really
- 8:43Speaker 1: really cool girl vibes. I also love, especially during the
- 8:46Speaker 1: winter season, when a girl is wearing like a black turtleneck.
- 8:49Speaker 2: That is my go to outfit in the winter.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Like I fine wearing a black turtleneck, like a tight,
- 8:55Speaker 1: tight type black turtleneck, with a nice pair of jeans,
- 8:58Speaker 1: black heeled boots, my hair straight, nice makeup, again, a
- 9:02Speaker 1: nice little handbag. That to me is like my go
- 9:05Speaker 1: to going out girls outfit or just going on a
- 9:08Speaker 1: date night with my husband. If I don't know what
- 9:09Speaker 1: I'm gonna wear, that's exactly what I'm gonna wear every
- 9:12Speaker 1: single time. Because with a turtleneck you can also layer
- 9:15Speaker 1: it with really nice jackets. And obviously we are in
- 9:17Speaker 1: jacket season. I love a good jacket. I wish it
- 9:22Speaker 1: wasn't that cold where I need to wear a puffer
- 9:24Speaker 1: over my jacket outfit, if that makes sense. Obviously the
- 9:28Speaker 1: puffer is just gonna ruin the vibe. But when you
- 9:31Speaker 1: wear like a nice leather jacket with that turtleneck. I
- 9:34Speaker 1: feel like it is so so cool and it's just
- 9:37Speaker 1: so effortless, and I feel like you just look so
- 9:40Speaker 1: so put together. So definitely love that right now. Is
- 9:43Speaker 1: just simple teas simple turtlenecks. I think the color white
- 9:48Speaker 1: and black and gray are like my favorite neutral colors
- 9:51Speaker 1: that I always try and stick to when I am
- 9:53Speaker 1: buying something that's kind of just like a simple top
- 9:56Speaker 1: or like something that's just gonna, you know, last in
- 9:59Speaker 1: my wardrobe for a really long time. Investing in good
- 10:02Speaker 1: quality pieces, I really love Aritzia. I think a lot
- 10:05Speaker 1: of their you know, tank tops, t shirts, turtlenecks are
- 10:10Speaker 1: really really good quality, and they're actually at a very
- 10:12Speaker 1: good price point. So I really feel like that's a
- 10:15Speaker 1: good place to shop if you're looking for like very
- 10:17Speaker 1: simple but good quality tops to just wear with a
- 10:21Speaker 1: good pair of denim jeans. When it comes to good denim,
- 10:24Speaker 1: I do think you can find a lot of good
- 10:26Speaker 1: denim at a Ritzy as well. They have great brands
- 10:28Speaker 1: like Levi's. They also have I think their brand, they
- 10:31Speaker 1: have their own brand. I forget what their brand is called. Oh,
- 10:34Speaker 1: denim Form. I really like Denim Form as well. Another
- 10:37Speaker 1: good brand that I haven't tried yet but I hear
- 10:39Speaker 1: really good things about is Park. I've tried Parks mockneck sweaters,
- 10:44Speaker 1: but I've never tried their denim jeans, but I hear
- 10:46Speaker 1: really good things about them, so that's definitely a brand
- 10:48Speaker 1: that I want to try. I've also tried a Goldie,
- 10:52Speaker 1: which is good. I wouldn't say like they're my favorite.
- 10:54Speaker 1: It is really really pricey. I just don't really see
- 10:57Speaker 1: the wow factor in it in my opinion. I actually
- 11:00Speaker 1: got a pair of Guest Jenes from the Guest brand
- 11:04Speaker 1: trip that I went on in the beginning of this year,
- 11:06Speaker 1: and guys, guest.
- 11:08Speaker 2: Jeans are actually so good.
- 11:11Speaker 1: I wear these low rise jeans honestly almost every single week,
- 11:14Speaker 1: like I'm obsessed with them, and you guys always ask me, killy,
- 11:17Speaker 1: what are these jeans?
- 11:18Speaker 2: They're from Guests.
- 11:19Speaker 1: They are from Guests, and they are literally the best genes,
- 11:22Speaker 1: the perfect wash, the perfect cut, like not too.
- 11:25Speaker 2: Baggy, not too slim.
- 11:26Speaker 1: They are literally my favorite. I literally wear them every
- 11:28Speaker 1: single time I'm going out. Those genes are going on me.
- 11:32Speaker 1: I have them linked on my LTK. But I just
- 11:33Speaker 1: feel like finding good, good denim is really hard, but
- 11:36Speaker 1: you guys should try out guests.
- 11:37Speaker 2: It's not too expensive.
- 11:39Speaker 1: I think it's around one hundred dollars price point, but
- 11:40Speaker 1: I feel like that's pretty good for a good quality
- 11:43Speaker 1: pair of Dunim. Another thing I find very chic is
- 11:46Speaker 1: just very simple design when it comes to handbags. I
- 11:51Speaker 1: would say years ago, when I was shopping for handbags,
- 11:54Speaker 1: I was always looking for a lot of detail, like
- 11:56Speaker 1: I wanted it.
- 11:56Speaker 2: To be all bling.
- 11:58Speaker 1: I wanted to have like the logo in the front,
- 12:00Speaker 1: like the designer logo, because I wanted people to know, oh,
- 12:02Speaker 1: I bought designer whatever. Like this is years ago, right,
- 12:05Speaker 1: Like even thinking about like when I used to work
- 12:07Speaker 1: at Michael Corer's back in the day, Like MK always
- 12:10Speaker 1: had like a lot of design going on, like it
- 12:13Speaker 1: was always out there, and I loved that. But as
- 12:15Speaker 1: I've gotten older, I've realized how much I prefer that
- 12:19Speaker 1: simple look with honestly no designer at all. Like think
- 12:22Speaker 1: of Botega, Like their signature is that like checkered kind
- 12:26Speaker 1: of woven leather material, but that's like their signature, but
- 12:29Speaker 1: there's no branding, there's no logo, but it looks incredibly chic,
- 12:33Speaker 1: and I don't know. I just think having simple things
- 12:38Speaker 1: for your handbag or just like simple design for a
- 12:41Speaker 1: handbag is so chic and like no branding on clothing
- 12:44Speaker 1: or anything like that. Just a very simple style I
- 12:46Speaker 1: think is very very effortless, and I think, I don't know,
- 12:50Speaker 1: it just looks really put together. Another thing I really
- 12:52Speaker 1: love is vintage pieces when it comes to home decor
- 12:56Speaker 1: and also fashion pieces. I feel like this is something
- 13:00Speaker 1: that I've grown to love this year. Specifically, I think
- 13:04Speaker 1: I always was unsure about vintage pieces. I think I
- 13:07Speaker 1: have a really hard time like sourcing vintage pieces.
- 13:10Speaker 2: I think you've got to go to like the right
- 13:11Speaker 2: spots and know the right places.
- 13:13Speaker 1: I definitely love like the real Reel and like places
- 13:16Speaker 1: online that make it a little bit easier for you
- 13:18Speaker 1: to find vintage things. But I am really excited to
- 13:23Speaker 1: find vintage pieces for our house.
- 13:25Speaker 2: You know, I've learned a lot through.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Interior design of understanding that you need that perfect combination
- 13:31Speaker 1: of new and old, like if you want your house
- 13:34Speaker 1: to feel like that ultimate cozy vibe.
- 13:37Speaker 2: I love the idea of just.
- 13:38Speaker 1: Mixing a little bit of old furniture so it could
- 13:40Speaker 1: be like a rustic coffee table or a rustic hutch
- 13:44Speaker 1: that you know you may have thrifted from the Facebook marketplace,
- 13:47Speaker 1: or you know there's places that do vintage thrifting for
- 13:51Speaker 1: furniture pieces, and then you have this beautiful, brand new couch.
- 13:55Speaker 1: So really mixing in that new and old I think
- 13:57Speaker 1: is really really chic. And then also just seeing someone
- 14:00Speaker 1: again with maybe a brand new outfit, but then like
- 14:03Speaker 1: a vintage Chanel bag or like a vintage Louis Bait tombag.
- 14:06Speaker 1: You know again that designer vintage look. I really really
- 14:09Speaker 1: love how people just like mix new and old and
- 14:15Speaker 1: find really nice vintage pieces. Another thing I really love
- 14:18Speaker 1: is neutral.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Nails or short nails, Like.
- 14:21Speaker 1: I have tried so so hard changing up my nail
- 14:24Speaker 1: shape and I have officially converted to the short square nails,
- 14:28Speaker 1: and guys, I love it. If you're an almond girl
- 14:31Speaker 1: like me, I do think it's really nice to change it.
- 14:34Speaker 2: Up and to be fully transparent.
- 14:36Speaker 1: I actually love both, like I wouldn't say I prefer
- 14:38Speaker 1: one more than the other. I actually love going into
- 14:41Speaker 1: my appointment and always changing it up. Right now, I
- 14:43Speaker 1: have short brown nails and I need to get them
- 14:47Speaker 1: touched up, and I'm either gonna do a bubble back
- 14:51Speaker 1: like milky white almond nail shape next, or I'm gonna
- 14:55Speaker 1: do short square French. And if you guys have been
- 14:57Speaker 1: listening for the podcast for a while, then you guys
- 14:59Speaker 1: know that I to talked about doing short French square
- 15:01Speaker 1: nails for so long, Like I kept telling you guys,
- 15:04Speaker 1: I'm chickening out, I can't do it.
- 15:06Speaker 2: I did it this.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Summer and it was one of the chekeest nails I've
- 15:09Speaker 1: ever done, Like it literally was perfection. So I am
- 15:12Speaker 1: debating on doing that again this next appointment that I
- 15:14Speaker 1: have on Friday, or I'm gonna do the almond nails.
- 15:19Speaker 1: So I'm unsure what I'm gonna do yet, but I
- 15:20Speaker 1: truly do think both are very chic and really really nice.
- 15:24Speaker 1: But I have been leaning more towards these short square
- 15:27Speaker 1: because I feel like it just looks, yeah, very effortless,
- 15:31Speaker 1: and I feel really really put together when.
- 15:33Speaker 2: I have my short nails. I also really love the
- 15:36Speaker 2: no makeup makeup look.
- 15:37Speaker 1: This is something that I've incorporated into my routine for
- 15:40Speaker 1: almost two years now. I do not wear any mascara,
- 15:44Speaker 1: and if you are currently doing mascara every single day,
- 15:48Speaker 1: I highly highly highly recommend trying it out without no mascara.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Do a really nice soft, natural glam like put on
- 15:57Speaker 1: your concealer, put on your bronzer, put on your blush,
- 16:01Speaker 1: add a little bit of freckles, do a nice slip.
- 16:03Speaker 2: Do your eyebrows. That's it.
- 16:05Speaker 1: I don't wear foundation. I put like a very light
- 16:07Speaker 1: amount of concealer on my face in areas that I
- 16:10Speaker 1: want covered, and then I just do a little bit
- 16:13Speaker 1: of contour, a little bit of bronzer and blush, no mascara.
- 16:17Speaker 1: I crawl my eyelashes, but I don't put any mascara on,
- 16:20Speaker 1: and I almost feel the most confident when I do
- 16:22Speaker 1: my makeup like this. I think it's because I feel
- 16:25Speaker 1: like I look like myself, but it really just enhances
- 16:28Speaker 1: my natural beauty, if that makes sense. I feel like
- 16:30Speaker 1: I feel naturally pretty when I don't overdo it, and
- 16:34Speaker 1: sometimes I actually prefer that when I compare it to
- 16:37Speaker 1: a full beat like sure, don't get me wrong, it
- 16:39Speaker 1: feels really good the odd time.
- 16:41Speaker 2: When you do put a lot of effort in your makeup.
- 16:43Speaker 1: But when I do a lot of makeup every single day,
- 16:46Speaker 1: I don't feel like I like it, if that makes sense.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Like when I am on vacation and I do my
- 16:51Speaker 1: makeup every single night, like when I'm going out every
- 16:53Speaker 1: single night for dinners and all that. Like by day four,
- 16:56Speaker 1: I'm kind of like, okay, like I don't like the
- 16:58Speaker 1: way I look right now, Like I don't know, it's
- 16:59Speaker 1: just it's something that I can't describe. But I feel
- 17:01Speaker 1: like when I do like my everyday natural glam, I
- 17:05Speaker 1: feel good, I feel naturally pretty.
- 17:07Speaker 2: I feel like it's just like the.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Perfect effortless makeup, but you can still tell that like
- 17:13Speaker 1: you're glowing in a sense, if that makes sense. So
- 17:16Speaker 1: if you're not doing the no makeup makeup look, I
- 17:18Speaker 1: highly recommend trying it out. I truly do feel like
- 17:21Speaker 1: it makes you feel so much more put together and
- 17:23Speaker 1: really just enhances your natural beauty.
- 17:26Speaker 2: Another thing I find.
- 17:27Speaker 1: Very chic is purchasing high quality supplements or food. I
- 17:31Speaker 1: feel like this just really shows how much you care
- 17:35Speaker 1: for your body. Like I really do love my supplements.
- 17:38Speaker 1: I really do love investing in certain food products because
- 17:42Speaker 1: you know, there's obviously.
- 17:43Speaker 2: A lot of things that are added in ingredients.
- 17:46Speaker 1: There's also a lot of foods that you can buy
- 17:48Speaker 1: that are not like really high prices, like there is
- 17:50Speaker 1: some that are very reasonable, but I don't know, there's
- 17:53Speaker 1: something about it that I just find very chic when
- 17:55Speaker 1: you actually like put the effort in, like buying a
- 17:58Speaker 1: bit more higher quality of foods that you may get
- 18:00Speaker 1: at the grocery store.
- 18:02Speaker 2: Another thing I love is black.
- 18:04Speaker 1: Heels, Like when you have a good staple black heeled
- 18:07Speaker 1: boot or just like black basic heels. I think that's
- 18:10Speaker 1: like a non negotiable to have in your wardrobe. And
- 18:14Speaker 1: I just find it very chic when someone's wearing like
- 18:16Speaker 1: a nice pair of black heels with denim jeans and
- 18:18Speaker 1: then a nice basic top. Again very simple, but looks
- 18:22Speaker 1: very put together. Another thing I find incredibly chic is
- 18:26Speaker 1: when someone has like really really healthy hair and you
- 18:29Speaker 1: can just tell that they're up to date with their
- 18:32Speaker 1: hair appointments, They're up to date with their hair mass,
- 18:35Speaker 1: their hair is looking extra shiny, they brush through it,
- 18:38Speaker 1: it's nice and smooth. Like when I see someone that
- 18:41Speaker 1: has healthy hair, I will tell them, I'll be like,
- 18:44Speaker 1: your hair is insane, Like I will compliment them because
- 18:46Speaker 1: I think that's such.
- 18:47Speaker 2: A hard thing to master, and I don't know.
- 18:51Speaker 1: I just feel like it's such a gift to have
- 18:56Speaker 1: beautiful hair, and when you actually put the effort in
- 18:58Speaker 1: and you take care of it, you can just tell
- 19:00Speaker 1: that they're putting in the effort for it. So having
- 19:02Speaker 1: really healthy hair is definitely something that I admire.
- 19:06Speaker 2: Like, I definitely could work on mine.
- 19:09Speaker 1: I try my best to take care of it as
- 19:11Speaker 1: much as I can, but I do feel like I
- 19:14Speaker 1: could be better at like maintaining hair mass and I
- 19:17Speaker 1: wear my hair up a lot. Okay, I am lazy
- 19:21Speaker 1: because I have a lot of hair, but I probably
- 19:23Speaker 1: could be better at finding ways to like style it,
- 19:26Speaker 1: and yeah.
- 19:27Speaker 2: Just be like better with my hair in general.
- 19:29Speaker 1: Another thing I love is handwritten letters or physical journals
- 19:34Speaker 1: and planners. You guys know that I love the physical planners.
- 19:37Speaker 1: I think this is such a game changer writing everything out.
- 19:40Speaker 1: I love when someone has like perfect cursive writing. I wish,
- 19:44Speaker 1: I wish, and maybe I could actually work on it.
- 19:47Speaker 2: That's something that I could definitely do. But I wish
- 19:49Speaker 2: I had good cursive writing.
- 19:50Speaker 1: Because when I see someone with like a notebook and
- 19:53Speaker 1: they're just kind of like journaling out their day and
- 19:55Speaker 1: it's all in cursive writing, I'm like, I aspire to
- 19:59Speaker 1: be like that. I literally aspire to have that beautiful handwriting.
- 20:02Speaker 1: It's just like something that is so beautiful that I
- 20:06Speaker 1: think is something that a lot of people don't think about.
- 20:08Speaker 1: So maybe that's something I can I haven't even done
- 20:11Speaker 1: my journaling today. I'm gonna actually try and do it
- 20:12Speaker 1: in cursive today, just for fun and just for shits,
- 20:15Speaker 1: to see how my cursive looks like, because I do
- 20:17Speaker 1: not remember the last time I did cursive writing besides
- 20:21Speaker 1: like my signature when I sign stuff for contracts for
- 20:24Speaker 1: work or paperwork for the bank or whatever. But I
- 20:27Speaker 1: definitely need to just try and cursive writing out. I'm
- 20:30Speaker 1: going to try that today. Another thing that I find
- 20:32Speaker 1: incredibly chic is anything tortoise, So you know, like that
- 20:36Speaker 1: tortoise pattern. I love tortoise glasses. I love tortoise hair brushes,
- 20:41Speaker 1: you know, tortoise hair clips, Like I love anything that's
- 20:45Speaker 1: in a tortoise print. I think it's so neutral, but
- 20:48Speaker 1: it's just like a really nice, like added detail that
- 20:51Speaker 1: makes it different than the basic black or white hair clip,
- 20:55Speaker 1: hair brush, anything like that.
- 20:57Speaker 2: Another thing I find.
- 20:58Speaker 1: Chic is a really nice hair brush. I love the
- 21:00Speaker 1: brand EMYJ. There's also a brand that's pretty expensive. I
- 21:05Speaker 1: think it's like three hundred dollars for a hairbrush. That's
- 21:07Speaker 1: kind of ridiculous, but that like miss a brand. I
- 21:11Speaker 1: don't even know if that's the brand. I forget what
- 21:14Speaker 1: the brand's called, but it's like this really expensive hairbrush.
- 21:16Speaker 2: I'm sure you guys know.
- 21:17Speaker 1: What I'm talking about. The people post on TikTok it
- 21:19Speaker 1: is beautiful. I just don't know if it's worth the
- 21:21Speaker 1: three hundred dollars. If you have it, let me know
- 21:23Speaker 1: if it's worth it. But I do find having a
- 21:26Speaker 1: nice hairbrush makes your everyday like hair routine just feel
- 21:30Speaker 1: more elevated. And I don't know, there's something about just
- 21:32Speaker 1: having a good hairbrush that feels very chic. Another thing
- 21:36Speaker 1: I love that I find very chic is when someone
- 21:39Speaker 1: has designer candles. I think it just looks really, really
- 21:44Speaker 1: elevated in a home. I've invested in a few designer
- 21:47Speaker 1: candles and can truly say that I love them and
- 21:50Speaker 1: adore them. And they do take a while to burn too,
- 21:53Speaker 1: which is nice, so you are getting something that has
- 21:55Speaker 1: a bit of longevity.
- 21:56Speaker 2: Out of it.
- 21:57Speaker 1: And I also reuse the candles and I'm done with it,
- 22:00Speaker 1: so I'll clean out the jar, and I'll use it
- 22:02Speaker 1: as like a pen holder or a makeup brush holder,
- 22:05Speaker 1: Like you can repurpose it and use it for different
- 22:07Speaker 1: things as well. So I do think it's worth the
- 22:10Speaker 1: price tag and something that I find just like elevates
- 22:13Speaker 1: your space in your home. And they also smell incredible.
- 22:17Speaker 1: Another thing I find very chic is eyeglasses. You guys
- 22:21Speaker 1: know that I love my Oval Tortoise eyeglasses. I literally
- 22:24Speaker 1: wear them all the time. Some people think that I
- 22:26Speaker 1: have a prescription. I do not have a prescription. I
- 22:28Speaker 1: literally wear these for blue light like purposes only. And
- 22:32Speaker 1: it's so funny because when I was in high school,
- 22:35Speaker 1: I actually used to be obsessed with buying fake glasses
- 22:37Speaker 1: off Amazon.
- 22:38Speaker 2: This is before like blue light glosses.
- 22:39Speaker 1: Even existed, and my mom always just thought it was
- 22:42Speaker 1: so weird. She's like, why do you love eyeglasses so much?
- 22:45Speaker 1: And I just always loved them because I felt like
- 22:48Speaker 1: it was just such a nice addition to your clothing pieces.
- 22:51Speaker 1: So depending on what you're wearing, sometimes I find an
- 22:54Speaker 1: outfit would look better if I had eyeglasses on verse
- 22:57Speaker 1: without I don't know, that's just maybe me. I feel
- 23:00Speaker 1: like I kind of took a deep dive in fashion
- 23:02Speaker 1: when it comes to that sense.
- 23:03Speaker 2: But I really love detail. I really pay attention to
- 23:06Speaker 2: that stuff.
- 23:06Speaker 1: So if I'm wearing an outfit that is missing something
- 23:09Speaker 1: and I feel like it needs eyeglasses or sunglasses, I
- 23:12Speaker 1: feel like that little detail makes a huge difference in
- 23:15Speaker 1: an outfit.
- 23:16Speaker 2: And I just love the square or.
- 23:18Speaker 1: Oval eyeglasses paired with a nice outfit, especially during the
- 23:22Speaker 1: fall in cozy season.
- 23:24Speaker 2: I think it's just like a nice look.
- 23:26Speaker 1: Obviously a lot of people have like the Mewmeu ones
- 23:28Speaker 1: or the ones from Amazon that are like a good dupe.
- 23:30Speaker 1: The ones that I have are from the brand Bonnie Clyde,
- 23:32Speaker 1: and I wear them all the time, and I love
- 23:34Speaker 1: them so so much, and I literally wear them all
- 23:36Speaker 1: the time. Another thing I find very chic is iemass
- 23:39Speaker 1: in the morning. So I try my best to do
- 23:41Speaker 1: this like three times a week, but I do find
- 23:44Speaker 1: having eyemass on when I'm doing my skincare or going
- 23:48Speaker 1: on a walk on my treadmill, or just kind of
- 23:50Speaker 1: like habit stacking in a way, right, so doing my
- 23:52Speaker 1: eyemass while doing something else in the house. Sometimes I'll
- 23:56Speaker 1: wear my eyemass driving to Bolotti's like, I don't really care,
- 23:59Speaker 1: but I feel very put together when I have imass on.
- 24:03Speaker 1: Another one is having a hobby that's different and unique
- 24:06Speaker 1: from other people. So girls who horseback ride or girls
- 24:11Speaker 1: who you know are in a tennis club, Like I
- 24:14Speaker 1: find that very unique and different and makes me think
- 24:17Speaker 1: that you're very cool because you do something different and unique.
- 24:21Speaker 1: I would really love to make this a huge priority
- 24:24Speaker 1: for myself, either next summer or next year.
- 24:27Speaker 2: In general, is just.
- 24:27Speaker 1: Like picking up a new hobby because like an activity,
- 24:31Speaker 1: sorry like hobbies. Obviously there's stuff that I want to
- 24:34Speaker 1: do at home, like I've been doing the water coloring book.
- 24:36Speaker 1: My sister's been doing needle pointing, which I want to try.
- 24:40Speaker 1: But when it comes to like an activity of like
- 24:43Speaker 1: a hobby that's like very unique.
- 24:45Speaker 2: I really like that.
- 24:46Speaker 1: I grew up playing sports, and I feel like I
- 24:48Speaker 1: just kind of grew out of that phase. Like I'm
- 24:50Speaker 1: not really overly loving my sports anymore. I just want
- 24:53Speaker 1: to do something different. But it would be nice to
- 24:56Speaker 1: have something on a weekly basis, whether it is going
- 24:59Speaker 1: to learn how to play tennis or it is learning
- 25:01Speaker 1: how to horseback ride something like that. Right, Like I
- 25:04Speaker 1: just feel like it's very cool and different. And I
- 25:07Speaker 1: like when it's something different because, like I think, you feel.
- 25:10Speaker 2: Unique and cool.
- 25:11Speaker 1: I don't know, I don't know how to explain it,
- 25:12Speaker 1: but I think it's just a really cool feature. I
- 25:15Speaker 1: also find having a cozy robe very chic. I am
- 25:19Speaker 1: a robe girl. I love my robe so so much.
- 25:22Speaker 1: I actually need a new one. I've had the same
- 25:24Speaker 1: one for almost a year and a half and I
- 25:25Speaker 1: do love it so so much. But I wouldn't mind
- 25:28Speaker 1: getting a new one just to kind of feel I
- 25:30Speaker 1: don't know, new and have something different. But a cozy robe,
- 25:35Speaker 1: I think is a staple. And I just love having
- 25:38Speaker 1: a robe and walking around in a robe in the
- 25:40Speaker 1: house when I'm making a.
- 25:41Speaker 2: Coffee in the mornings. It just feels like I'm put
- 25:44Speaker 2: together when I have a good robe.
- 25:46Speaker 1: This is very specific and maybe very niche, but I
- 25:49Speaker 1: do really love the wired headphones. I find it's so
- 25:52Speaker 1: funny how you know the air pods come out the
- 25:55Speaker 1: Bluetooth aspect, the Airmax pros, Like, obviously everyone's hyping about
- 25:59Speaker 1: these extremely expensive headphones, and then now all the girls
- 26:03Speaker 1: want the wired headphones again. Where it just looks cool
- 26:06Speaker 1: when some girl has like wired headphones on. I'm just like, oh, okay,
- 26:10Speaker 1: So anyways, it's just like something that I think is
- 26:13Speaker 1: very like, not common that you see, And so when
- 26:16Speaker 1: you see a girl wearing it, I think it just
- 26:17Speaker 1: looks really really put together. I feel like it's also
- 26:19Speaker 1: a very Pinterest thing to do. I feel like I
- 26:21Speaker 1: see a lot of girls on Pinterest taking cute photos
- 26:23Speaker 1: with the wired headphones, and when I.
- 26:25Speaker 2: See a photo like that, I just feel like I'm
- 26:27Speaker 2: very drawn to it.
- 26:27Speaker 1: I feel like it has a very aesthetic look to it,
- 26:30Speaker 1: and yeah, I just feel like it's a very nice addition.
- 26:33Speaker 1: I also love glass water bottles. There's just something about
- 26:38Speaker 1: a clear glass water bottle that looks very chic. I
- 26:42Speaker 1: imagine a girl like on the treadmill walking in her
- 26:44Speaker 1: like really nice workout set that's all matching with a
- 26:47Speaker 1: glass water bottle in the treadmill holder like that. To me,
- 26:51Speaker 1: she just looks very put together. She has her shit
- 26:53Speaker 1: in gear. So I really love the way that looks.
- 26:56Speaker 1: I also love when I see girls collecting matches, when
- 27:00Speaker 1: they go to a restaurant or a place that has
- 27:03Speaker 1: a branded matches that you can grab and take home,
- 27:06Speaker 1: and they have a collection in a bowl, either at
- 27:09Speaker 1: their front table or their coffee table. I think it's
- 27:13Speaker 1: just like really cool to like have something that you collect,
- 27:16Speaker 1: and I just have seen a lot of people do
- 27:18Speaker 1: the matches, and I think.
- 27:20Speaker 2: It looks really really good. I obviously love a matching set.
- 27:23Speaker 2: I think having a matching PJ.
- 27:25Speaker 1: Set on, or a matching workout set or sweatset, I
- 27:28Speaker 1: think we can all agree that you just feel ten
- 27:30Speaker 1: times more put together and you feel like your outfit
- 27:33Speaker 1: is definitely looking like you put effort towards it. So
- 27:37Speaker 1: I definitely love when I have a matching set on,
- 27:39Speaker 1: and I always try and make sure that the colors
- 27:43Speaker 1: are still very neutral, like I love having a matching
- 27:46Speaker 1: white set, a matching black set, a matching gray set.
- 27:49Speaker 1: I would say gray is probably my favorite color that
- 27:52Speaker 1: I ever wear because it's.
- 27:55Speaker 2: Not white, but I feel like gray is not too
- 27:58Speaker 2: dark like black. But I don't know, I just feel
- 28:01Speaker 2: like it really like looks nice on my skin tone.
- 28:04Speaker 1: Another color actually that I love is cream, like a
- 28:07Speaker 1: beautiful cream knit sweater or a matching cream like workout
- 28:11Speaker 1: set or cream sweat set. I think it looks really
- 28:15Speaker 1: really put together. Cream and gray are probably my two
- 28:18Speaker 1: favorite colors when I'm wearing a matching set, for sure.
- 28:21Speaker 1: I also love when someone has their bed like perfectly made,
- 28:25Speaker 1: Like if someone were to take a picture of their
- 28:26Speaker 1: bed and you can just see that they have like
- 28:28Speaker 1: a very fluffy duvet cover. You know, they've tucked the
- 28:31Speaker 1: sheets in under the bed like in the bed frame.
- 28:34Speaker 1: They have like really large pillows that are like just
- 28:37Speaker 1: you know, down feathered, and they're doing the karate chop
- 28:40Speaker 1: on the pillows. Like I don't know, like that to me,
- 28:42Speaker 1: if your bed just like looks good, I know you
- 28:45Speaker 1: probably smell good and you probably look good too, Like
- 28:48Speaker 1: I don't know how to explain it, but someone that
- 28:50Speaker 1: has a perfectly created bed, I'm like, wow, that is stunning.
- 28:55Speaker 1: I just know for a fact that you have your
- 28:57Speaker 1: shit together. I also love anything leather, so leather pants,
- 29:02Speaker 1: leather trench coat, leather jacket. I also love like leather accessories,
- 29:06Speaker 1: So like a leather passport holder, a leather laptop case,
- 29:09Speaker 1: leather gloves.
- 29:11Speaker 2: That's a really good Christmas gift idea.
- 29:13Speaker 1: I know that we're not talking about that, but like
- 29:14Speaker 1: anything leather that has a small detail for accessories. As
- 29:18Speaker 1: I said, like those ideas right there that I just
- 29:20Speaker 1: listed I think are such great Christmas.
- 29:22Speaker 2: Gift ideas that anybody would love. I also love like
- 29:25Speaker 2: that crock leather look. I truly just.
- 29:28Speaker 1: Find that's like a really nice gift to receive. Okay,
- 29:31Speaker 1: we have two more things when it comes to things
- 29:33Speaker 1: that I find very chic. So the next one being
- 29:36Speaker 1: fresh flowers in your home in the summer. When I
- 29:39Speaker 1: see someone with fresh hydranges on their coffee table, wow,
- 29:43Speaker 1: I don't know how to explain that that feeling, that look.
- 29:46Speaker 1: It just looks super clean, It looks super chic. I
- 29:50Speaker 1: aspire to have my hydrangees actually lost in my house
- 29:54Speaker 1: for more than four days, because I don't know about
- 29:55Speaker 1: you guys, but my hygdranges constantly die and they look
- 29:59Speaker 1: good for two days, and by day three I'm trying
- 30:01Speaker 1: to recut the stems, I'm trying to change the water,
- 30:04Speaker 1: and literally by day four they're like they're dying. They're done,
- 30:07Speaker 1: and I'm like, okay, we need to change this up.
- 30:09Speaker 1: So I ended up buying fake ones, which I think
- 30:11Speaker 1: look really nice. But when there's fresh flowers in the house,
- 30:14Speaker 1: I do truly find that it just elevates the look
- 30:17Speaker 1: so so much. And another thing that I find chic
- 30:21Speaker 1: is looking expensive for an affordable price.
- 30:25Speaker 2: And what I mean by that is when you go
- 30:26Speaker 2: up to a.
- 30:26Speaker 1: Girl and you're like, oh my god, I love your outfit,
- 30:29Speaker 1: Like where is it from? Usually I'm thinking like Revolve
- 30:32Speaker 1: or Ritzy. Like I'm thinking, oh, she spent a lot
- 30:35Speaker 1: of money on this outfit, and they're like, oh, yeah,
- 30:37Speaker 1: I just caught this from Amazon. I'm like, wow, you
- 30:40Speaker 1: look good, Like I need the link, send me the link.
- 30:43Speaker 1: When I just see someone look expensive and knowing that
- 30:45Speaker 1: they have an affordable price point around it.
- 30:47Speaker 2: It just is so cool to me and so chic.
- 30:50Speaker 2: So I feel like that's like a talent.
- 30:52Speaker 1: If you can find really good things at affordable price,
- 30:54Speaker 1: I think that's really hard to master. And yeah, I
- 30:57Speaker 1: feel like it's just something that I his spy, and
- 31:01Speaker 1: I think it's a really nice way to just kind
- 31:03Speaker 1: of like elevate your wardrobe but also not having to
- 31:05Speaker 1: pay a heavy.
- 31:06Speaker 2: Price tag for it.
- 31:07Speaker 1: Okay, So those are twenty five things that I just
- 31:09Speaker 1: listed for things that I find incredibly chic. Another thing
- 31:13Speaker 1: that I wanted to quickly chat about is my current
- 31:15Speaker 1: favorites because someone on my Instagram actually DMed me recently saying,
- 31:19Speaker 1: oh my god, you need to do an updated other
- 31:22Speaker 1: podcast episode or video on like your current favorites. So
- 31:25Speaker 1: I'm like, you know what, I'm going to tie it
- 31:26Speaker 1: into today's podcast episode because I feel like, you know,
- 31:30Speaker 1: it's fall. And obviously there's been a few things that
- 31:32Speaker 1: I've purchased recently or just like trends or styles that
- 31:35Speaker 1: I've loved that I'm really trying to bring into my
- 31:39Speaker 1: life or wardrobe that just are really nice to me
- 31:44Speaker 1: and really cheek to me. So the first one being
- 31:46Speaker 1: I love anything with a high neck, like either a
- 31:49Speaker 1: mock neck sweater or like a high neck jacket. I
- 31:53Speaker 1: have been loving the leather jackets that are super high neck.
- 31:56Speaker 2: I think it's a very.
- 31:58Speaker 1: Classy and something that I feel like I would have
- 32:01Speaker 1: in my wardrobe for a very long time.
- 32:03Speaker 2: I think it's also because I wear my hair up
- 32:05Speaker 2: a lot.
- 32:05Speaker 1: I feel like like a slick back ponytail with like
- 32:08Speaker 1: a high neck sweater or a high neck jacket just
- 32:10Speaker 1: look really really chic and very elevated. Something else that
- 32:14Speaker 1: I find something else that I'm actually asking for Christmas
- 32:17Speaker 1: for my parents because my parents are like, what do you.
- 32:19Speaker 2: Want for Christmas?
- 32:20Speaker 1: And obviously I'm at the age where I'm basically buying
- 32:22Speaker 1: everything for myself. Like if I see a handbag, I like,
- 32:25Speaker 1: it's what I like, I'm just buying it myself. I'm
- 32:27Speaker 1: not gonna, you know, add it to my Christmas list
- 32:29Speaker 1: for my parents, just because I'm at that age where like,
- 32:31Speaker 1: if I like something, I just buy it myself. But
- 32:33Speaker 1: I'm trying to think of things for my new house
- 32:36Speaker 1: that I would really appreciate as a gift that I
- 32:39Speaker 1: feel like I would use a lot for myself or
- 32:41Speaker 1: for hosting. And one specific thing that I've been looking
- 32:45Speaker 1: a lot at lately is like a very antique coffee
- 32:49Speaker 1: cup set or like a tea dishware set where it's
- 32:53Speaker 1: like a stainless steel like tea cup with you.
- 32:57Speaker 2: Know, matching cups and I don't.
- 32:59Speaker 1: Know explain it, like the silver tray, like it's kind
- 33:02Speaker 1: of giving European antique vibes, Like I see a lot
- 33:06Speaker 1: of people sell it from like Creighton Barrel and all that,
- 33:08Speaker 1: but I really want to try and like find one
- 33:11Speaker 1: that's like vintage, whether it's from Etsy or Facebook marketplace,
- 33:14Speaker 1: like I love that like Paris inspired European inspired dish set,
- 33:19Speaker 1: So that's something that I think would be really really
- 33:21Speaker 1: nice to have. I also love, as I said, anything,
- 33:25Speaker 1: leather has been something I've really been loving right now,
- 33:28Speaker 1: So leather accessories like a passport holder or toiletry bags.
- 33:32Speaker 1: I especially love when there's monogrammed print on it. So
- 33:35Speaker 1: whether it's your initials or your name being monogrammed on
- 33:38Speaker 1: like a leather accessory, I think that's really really cute
- 33:42Speaker 1: and again something that I'm probably gonna ask for for Christmas.
- 33:46Speaker 1: Another thing that I've been currently loving is clear tinted sunglasses.
- 33:52Speaker 2: So this is something that I'm currently on the hunt for.
- 33:54Speaker 1: I don't have a pair of these yet, but I
- 33:56Speaker 1: keep searching different brands. I know YSL has a lot
- 33:59Speaker 1: of good brands clear tinted sunglasses, but I'm sure you
- 34:01Speaker 1: can also find some off Amazon that are a good dupe.
- 34:04Speaker 2: But I don't know.
- 34:05Speaker 1: I just like like the way tinted sunglasses look. I
- 34:07Speaker 1: don't know if they look good on me, but I
- 34:10Speaker 1: like the way they look on other people. Like every
- 34:11Speaker 1: time I see someone wear it, I'm like, she looks
- 34:13Speaker 1: so cool. I just find it a very like I
- 34:16Speaker 1: don't know, effortlessly cool detail that someone adds to an outfit.
- 34:20Speaker 1: And again back to the leather love leather trench coats.
- 34:24Speaker 1: I've been wearing my leather trench coat so much, my
- 34:27Speaker 1: leather bomber jacket I've been wearing a lot again during
- 34:30Speaker 1: the colder months. I'm currently on the hunt for leather
- 34:34Speaker 1: pants that are a low rise. This has been very
- 34:37Speaker 1: difficult to find, to be honest, I actually recently saw
- 34:40Speaker 1: someone post about a low rise pant from a Ritzia
- 34:43Speaker 1: that are that like leather pant looks. So I'm gonna
- 34:46Speaker 1: try and hunt those down, especially because it's Black Friday.
- 34:49Speaker 1: I think there's sales stirts in a few days, so
- 34:51Speaker 1: I might need to take a peek at that. But
- 34:53Speaker 1: I don't have a good pair of leather pants, like
- 34:56Speaker 1: I have a good pair of leather leggings that I
- 34:58Speaker 1: bought like five or seven years ago when that was
- 35:01Speaker 1: very in, but I don't.
- 35:03Speaker 2: Really wear them or gravitate to them anymore.
- 35:06Speaker 1: So I want to try and get a good pant
- 35:07Speaker 1: that I feel like I would wear a lot. I
- 35:10Speaker 1: also have been loving matching manny and petties, so like
- 35:14Speaker 1: French manicure in a French pedicure like that to me, again,
- 35:18Speaker 1: very chep, but it's just something I've been loving. So
- 35:19Speaker 1: every time I go get my nails done, I try
- 35:21Speaker 1: and do both at the same time and just get
- 35:23Speaker 1: the same thing on my hands and feet, and I
- 35:26Speaker 1: think it looks really put together. Speaking about pants, I
- 35:29Speaker 1: have been loving low rise pants.
- 35:31Speaker 2: I talked about low rise jeans.
- 35:33Speaker 1: I've talked about the low rise leather pants, like, I'm
- 35:36Speaker 1: only buying lowers pants lately, and I don't know why.
- 35:38Speaker 1: I just think it looks so good with every single
- 35:40Speaker 1: top that I style it with. I just haven't really
- 35:43Speaker 1: been into my midrise. Like every time I put my
- 35:45Speaker 1: midrise pants on now, I'm kind of like something's off,
- 35:48Speaker 1: and then I put my lowerrise pants on and I'm like, Okay,
- 35:50Speaker 1: it looks better.
- 35:51Speaker 2: It looks perfect.
- 35:52Speaker 1: So it could be maybe just because I like my
- 35:55Speaker 1: body with a lowers pant better.
- 35:57Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 35:58Speaker 1: It could be just like a personal thing, but I
- 36:00Speaker 1: I really really love that lower ice pants are back
- 36:02Speaker 1: because it makes me really happy finding like a baggy,
- 36:06Speaker 1: lowerrised pant to style for like dinner out or kind
- 36:10Speaker 1: of just like an everyday look. Obviously, coats and jackets
- 36:13Speaker 1: have been like my favorite thing ever this season. And
- 36:16Speaker 1: I also love a good fur coat, especially around this
- 36:18Speaker 1: time of the year for the holidays.
- 36:20Speaker 2: Like having really nice outfits.
- 36:21Speaker 1: With a fur coat or like a fur detail on
- 36:24Speaker 1: like a holiday dress for a holiday party, I think
- 36:27Speaker 1: is so so beautiful. Every time I'm shopping for like
- 36:30Speaker 1: some type of event during the holidays, I'm always looking
- 36:32Speaker 1: for something with fur on it.
- 36:33Speaker 2: I don't know why.
- 36:34Speaker 1: I just think it looks really really nice. And then
- 36:37Speaker 1: the last two things are jewelry related. I just ordered
- 36:40Speaker 1: a few new jewelry pieces. I feel like I've been
- 36:42Speaker 1: in my jewelry era right now.
- 36:43Speaker 2: I don't know why.
- 36:44Speaker 1: I feel like jewelry has been something that I've been
- 36:47Speaker 1: wanting to kind of revisit, like kind of change.
- 36:50Speaker 2: Up my current jewelry pieces.
- 36:52Speaker 1: And I really love like mini watches or like a
- 36:56Speaker 1: diamond pendant necklace, like again, something very simple but kind
- 36:59Speaker 1: of has an nice, elevated, detailed look to it. I think, honestly,
- 37:04Speaker 1: just investing in jewelry pieces is so worth it because
- 37:07Speaker 1: it's something that you're gonna have for such a very
- 37:09Speaker 1: long time. I still have a lot of things that
- 37:13Speaker 1: i've splurged on that I wear literally every single day.
- 37:16Speaker 1: But then there's also things that I've like ordered from
- 37:18Speaker 1: Amazon that I wear for literally six months and then
- 37:20Speaker 1: I don't ever wear it again. So I think it's
- 37:22Speaker 1: worth investing in it because you're gonna wear it so
- 37:25Speaker 1: much more, I feel like. So that's just a personal thing,
- 37:29Speaker 1: but yeah, those are kind of like my current favorite
- 37:32Speaker 1: trends and things that I've been doing or purchasing lately
- 37:35Speaker 1: that have been my favorite these past few months.
- 37:38Speaker 2: But that is today's episode. I hope you guys enjoyed it.
- 37:41Speaker 1: This is again something that I just saw through social
- 37:43Speaker 1: media that I wanted to share. And I feel like
- 37:46Speaker 1: these little things, like you're investing in yourself, and I
- 37:49Speaker 1: do think it makes you feel just more put together.
- 37:53Speaker 1: And I think doing these little things can really make
- 37:55Speaker 1: you feel like you're really elevating yourself, you're really redefining
- 37:59Speaker 1: yourself and kind of creating this vision that you wanted
- 38:03Speaker 1: for yourself. So I hope you guys enjoyed it, and
- 38:06Speaker 1: I really enjoyed talking about it. So I love you
- 38:09Speaker 1: guys all so much. Thank you guys for listening to
