How To Receive the Help from God · Daily Transformation

• 0:00
We grew up hearing certain statements and certain belief
• 0:04
systems that were never never true and even we believed that
• 0:08
they were in the Bible. 1 of it is Heaven help those who help
• 0:11
themselves. I remember vividly, you know,
• 0:14
while I was, you know, a teenager, while I was very
• 0:16
young, you know, I even people that I respected my principals
• 0:21
in school do this. My proprietress, you know, they
• 0:23
always make that declaration, especially if they want you to
• 0:26
do something that is not righteous.
• 0:29
They'll say, oh, after all, even the Bible says Heaven help those
• 0:32
who help themselves. So we grew up hearing such
• 0:35
statements and we believe that it was real until later on in
• 0:39
life and then discover that that statement was true, so.
• 0:43
It means that there are many things that you can believe
• 0:45
today in your life and you. May even think it's the right
• 0:48
thing and you carry it as a mentality.
• 0:52
And that's what Jesus said by your by our tradition, we
• 0:55
nullify the word of God in an actual sense.
• 0:58
If you can't help yourself, then God, you don't need the help of
• 1:01
God. Because most times they say, oh,
• 1:03
God will only help you if you help yourself, then it means
• 1:06
that you have already substituted the help of God,
• 1:08
that you don't need his help. Because if I need the help of
• 1:11
God, and if God is willing to help me, how then am I able to
• 1:15
help myself? So most times they put you in a
• 1:18
position where you do something against the plan of God, against
• 1:21
the will of God, or you even derail in time in terms of in
• 1:25
pursuit of that which God has called you.
• 1:27
But in an actual sense, God wants men who are broken, men
• 1:30
who come to the end of themselves, men who realize that
• 1:33
without Him helping them, they will not be able to achieve
• 1:37
much. Men will who realize that
• 1:39
without the help of God they cannot do much.
• 1:43
So that is the kind of man that God is looking for.
• 1:45
God is not looking for men that can help themselves.
• 1:47
No, He's looking for men that can depend on Him.
• 1:51
And let me tell you the truth, it is that understanding that we
• 1:53
put in a place where you realize that your sufficiency cannot be
• 1:56
  of yourself, outside of yourself.
• 1:58
Your human frailty alone does not have what it takes to bring
• 2:01
anything great to be able to accomplish as far as your
• 2:04
destiny is concerned. So such statement as heaven help
• 2:07
those who help themselves is not God standard.
• 2:11
God never has said that. So it means that you must begin
• 2:14
to check what are the other things that you might have
• 2:17
believed. That is a mentality is a culture
• 2:20
of the day is an idea of the day that today is delaying from
• 2:23
receiving the help of God that you need.
• 2:25
No wonder you know many people do not experience the hand of
• 2:29
God as they ought to. Why?
• 2:30
Because they run with that mentality and Romans who said
• 2:33
Romans was to say, do not be conformed to this world, but be
• 2:36
a transformed through the renewal of your mind that you
• 2:38
will be able to prove what is that good, acceptable and
• 2:41
perfect will of God. So it means that the custom of
• 2:43
this world will give you a notion of you trying to do
• 2:46
things, trying to do this, trying to become this.
• 2:49
But God is not calling us into that life.
• 2:51
God is calling us into a life where we depend on him and him
• 2:54
alone, where you know that he's your source and indeed your
• 2:57
source not. You know, it's easy to say God
• 2:58
is my source based on on mere confession or mere declaration.
• 3:03
But imagine you come to the realization that actually
• 3:05
without the help of God, I will not be able to accomplish much.
• 3:08
That is where God wants us to be in.
• 3:10
And the moment you get into that reality, then you will see how
• 3:13
heaven will truly help you. Because now you are helpless.
• 3:16
Now your sufficiency is of God. Now you know when you are
• 3:19
pressed on every side, you cannot be in displayed.
• 3:21
Even if you're knocked down, you cannot be abandoned by God.
• 3:23
  Why? Because he's your source.
• 3:25
He's your strength, you know. So that is the message I have
• 3:28
for someone today. I want you to run this year,
• 3:30
this season, with the consciousness of the help of
• 3:33
God. Man outside of God is limited.
• 3:35
Man with God is unlimited. Man outside of God has so many
• 3:39
impossibilities. Man with God, everything becomes
• 3:42
possible. That is how we see result in
• 3:44
this Kingdom and that is how you can enjoy all that God has for
• 3:48
  you. This is the daily
• 3:49
  transformation. See you next time.
• 3:51
  Bye bye.
