Mega Millions Climbs to 177 Million! This is The Lottery Rundown for Wednesday September 2nd Mega Millions drew Tuesday night with 1, 22, 51, 61 and 63, plus Mega Ball 17. Nobody matched all six, leaving the jackpot without a winner for a tenth straight drawing. Among the white balls, 61 returned after 28 drawings away; it had enough time to develop strong opinions about patio furniture. Friday’s jackpot climbs to 177 million dollars, with a cash value of 76 million 300 thousand dollars. That could buy a private island with a moat reserved exclusively for rubber ducks. Would you appoint a head duck, or let democracy handle it? The jackpot run is now 35 days old, which is still shorter than usual. Pivoting to Powerball, the last draw was Monday, August 31, with 11, 17, 25, 37 and 49, plus Powerball 10 and a 2X multiplier. Nobody won the jackpot, but two lucky ticket holders—one in New York and one in the United Kingdom—each scored 1 million dollars. Number 11 returned after 63 drawings away, while Powerball 10 ranks among the five least-drawn red balls over the past six years. Tonight’s jackpot stands at 146 million dollars, with a cash value of 63 million 300 thousand dollars.
