  a doubt. He was full of grace and truth, without a doubt.

  He's full of love because God is love and mercy a man without a doubt,

  not ashamed to say it. I'm not ashamed to admit it. A lot

  of people are ashamed to admit it. A lot of people are shamed to

  acknowledge the fact that they can't do this on their own. Amen. I

  can't do this on my own. You can't do this on your own.

  But with the Lord, Amen, we could do all things. All things

  John chapter five, verses one to nine, very popular story in the scriptures.

  A miracle happened, Jesus shows up and a man was healed by grace.

  And that's the name of today's Morning Devo, Healed by Grace authentic imentationalogy.

  A man, he gave us his best. We should give him our best.

  Right. We should be able a man to look at the scriptures and

  the revelation that God should be popping out of those words, popping out of

  those scriptures, so that we could give us insight on what's going on on

  a day to day basis. A man, don't be ashamed of the gospel.

  The gospel leads you and informs us, Amen, structures our life.

  Heals by grace, Amen, And we see it all through the scriptures.

  We see all the scriptures. So I just wanted to make sure the sound

  get to my notes. Healed by grace, His powerful grace. It's not

  a whimpy grace. It's not a soul so grace. It's a supreme super

  grace. Amen. And some people call it hyper grace, And I have

  no problem with hyper grace. I just don't have a problem with the teachers

  of hyper grace. But I know the God's grace to me is hyper Amen.

  It's more way more than what I deserve or what I expected I would

  deserve. Amen, his grace and mercy, his love, his goodness,
• 3:44
  his peace, his authority, his power. But listen, you could be
• 3:47
  healed by grace. I know I'm healed by grace and you can too.

  So are you in need of God's grace? Why or why not? Today

  just show up in situations where I need you desperately. I thank you,

  Lord God for the power of grace, for your healing, for your love,

  for your grace, for your forgiveness, for your mercy. Thank you,

  Lord God for being in us and working through us, and working through
• 4:54
  my life, and working through every single burn again believer's life as well as
• 4:58
  we are brothers and sisters in Christ as we move forward in victormy knowing that

  this world is corrupt and this world is broken. But you are the fixer.

  You are the mendor, You are the creator. You know things before
• 5:10
  we know. We speak things, Little God, according to your scripture,
• 5:13
  and we see them manifest in real time and real life right now. So
• 5:17
  I speak life, I speak healing. I speak the power of God to
• 5:23
  be engulfing and involving us, and what the Kingdom of God is doing here
• 5:28
  on earth. I thank you, Lord God for the opportunity to engage with
• 5:30
  one another as we engage in Your word today in these morning sessions. I

  thank you for all my friends and family that are seeking truthflow God, I

  pray for every single person in my family. I had your protection, health

  to the body, strength to the bones, in the name of Jesus.

  being healed by grace, the grace of God, which has the power to

  Some people say no. So my follow up to that will be why

  why do you need God's grace? Or why not? Why don't you need

  God's grace? Some people, you know, they say, I got this,

  I don't need God. I don't you know, I already have morality,
• 9:30
  you know, whatever's best for society, I'll do it that way.

  I don't need a God to you know, empire my life or to be
• 9:39
  over me. I don't have to submit to any god or whatever. List
• 9:43
  people like that and they have their reasons, Amen, And if you really
• 9:48
  listen to their story most of the time, at least in my experience,
• 9:52
  when people are like that about God, they're hurt and they're hurting and they
• 9:58
  need to be healed by grace. And God that was a God of grace.

  So you already know that if it wasn't for God, if it wasn't
• 10:05
  with Christ, where would we be? We be. I know, I'd
• 10:07
  be in the world acting crazy and doing what I used to do. Amen.

  But then Jesus shows up and ruined my life. You can see that

  on my YouTube page, my testimony of how Jesus ruined my life in a

  good way. Amen. I'm not complaining at all, a man that ruining
• 10:24
  of the life did me well, a man, because I thought I was
• 10:28
  going one way, and I thought my way was the best way for my
• 10:31
  life and was actually destroying my I was destroying myself. I was on the
• 10:35
  road of self destruction. Amen. I was on that broadway that leads to
• 10:39
  destruction. Now I'm on that narrow road that leadst to eternal life. And
• 10:43
  I'm so grateful for God's healing touch, his powerful grace over my life.

  What about you? Amen? So let me get this ready for those who

  are just listening. You won't see what we're gonna see on the screen,

  obviously, Amen, but you're gonna hear from the power of audio. Is

  amazing to me because audio paints pictures in your mind. When the spoken word,

  When you hear the spoken word, especially the powerful word of God,

  paints pictures in your mind. You could see the word in your mind.

  You can see what the word is doing, what the Word is saying,
• 11:13
  how God directs you by the power of His Holy Spirit. Because the living
• 11:18
  Word of God is sharper than any double edged sword. The living word of
• 11:20
  God leads us a man, a lamp to our feet, a light to
• 11:24
  our path, a man. The word of God leads us to the direction
• 11:30
  where he wants us to go. Amen. And he wants us to move
• 11:33
  forward. He doesn't want us to go back because if you turn back too
• 11:35
  much and you look at your past, you just start picking up the things
• 11:39
  from your past, and those things are called sin. Amen. So move
• 11:43
  forward. Amen. Yeah, we all have history, we all have a
• 11:46
  past. But if we're not careful and we turn around and go back down
• 11:50
  that path a man, that past path, you might start picking up things
• 11:54
  that were left alone for a purpose. You threw them down, You threw
• 11:58
  them at the feet of g Jesus. Leave them there. Amen. We

  don't want to go back to how we used to be. We want to
• 12:05
  move forward to how God knows who we are and who we are. Amen.

  And we move forward in victory victory, victory victory. Who doesn't want

  victory, our want victory in my life in every area, including including ladies

  and gentlemen. When it comes to grace authentic invitationlogy, let's go for it

  today. We're calling this one healed by Grace. This is episode number sixty
• 12:30
  nine on the Authoritic Invitationlogy series. Man, wow, that's like I'm putting

  some work in here. All glory to God. Amen. He gives me
• 12:39
  the strength to do it. John chapter five, verses one to nine.
• 12:43
  Let's read it. After this, there was a feast of the Jews.
• 12:46
  So something had happened. And then after whatever happened. That's why always tell
• 12:50
  you to read the whole chapter. In this case, you have to read
• 12:54
  John chapter four to know what they're talking about after this, what that means,
• 13:00
  John chapter five, verses one to nine. So after this, after
• 13:05
  this, there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to
• 13:07
  Jerusalem. Jesus traveling is going up to Jerusalem. He's among the Jews,
• 13:13
  not hiding a man. He's there verse number two. Now there is in
• 13:18
  Jerusalem by the sheepgate a pool in Aramaic called Bethesda. If you do a
• 13:26
  word study, look up the word bethesda in the scriptures. But doesna means
• 13:30
  something. I'm not going to take a stab at it now because in the
• 13:33
  back of my mind I know what it means, but I didn't do my
• 13:35
  due diligence to remind myself of what bethesta means. But bethesa means something.
• 13:41
  I think it's they're gonna try to guess anyway, beautiful, something beautiful,
• 13:48
  But anyway, look it up, which has five roofed Colonnades, verse three,
• 13:54
  and these lay a multitude of invalids, blind and paralyzed. So the
• 14:01
  people there that were crippled, the people there side by side looking at other
• 14:09
  people getting their healing and getting their breakthrough, and they were there as well
• 14:13
  invalid. For there was one man who was there who had been an invalid
• 14:18
  for check this out for thirty eight years. Thirty eight years. This man
• 14:24
  was there was invalid. Not that he was there for thirty eight years.
• 14:30
  I'm just saying he was an invalid for thirty eight years. First number six.
• 14:35
  When Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he had already been there
• 14:43
  a long time, he said to him, out of all member, there
• 14:48
  were other blind people there laying people there, paralyzed there, but for whatever
• 14:52
  reason, Jesus saw this man lying there and knew that he had already been
• 14:58
  there a long time. He said to him, and this is a mind
• 15:03
  blowing question, do you want to be healed? Now? Before you'd be
• 15:09
  like, of course he wants to be healed. He needs healing. What
• 15:13
  about you? Do you need to be healed? Right now? It's personal?
• 15:18
  You see that, you see how it changes. So Jesus asked this
• 15:22
  man, do you want to be healed? Verse seven. The sick man
• 15:26
  answered him, sir, I have no one to put me into the pool
• 15:31
  when the water is stirred up and while I am going another steps down before
• 15:37
  me. Amazing, right, Jesus says, do you want to be healed?
• 15:43
  Now? This man is telling a story about the pool. Everybody's getting
• 15:46
  into that pool and getting healed. What about me? Did he hear what
• 15:52
  Jesus said? Jesus said, do you want to be healed? So you
• 15:56
  would think the man would be like, of course I want to be healed.
• 15:58
  No, he said, sir, I have no one to put me
• 16:03
  into the pool when the water is stirred up, and while I am going
• 16:10
  another steps down before me. Now, if you look at this and study
• 16:14
  this, when the water was stirred up. Theologians say there were angels stirring
• 16:18
  the waters, and it was healing in that water at those moments when the
• 16:22
  water was stirred up. Evidently this man saw that and knew that or heard
• 16:30
  it. Jesus said to him, get up, take up your bed,
• 16:37
  and walk. The grace of God. That's the grace of God. Because
• 16:41
  Jesus could have said, could have said, hey, I didn't asked you
• 16:45
  that. You know what, I'm gonna go to somebody else who's gonna listen
• 16:48
  to me. Jesus didn't do that. Jesus asked this man, do you
• 16:52
  want to be healed? This man tells him a story about the water and
• 16:56
  the pool and how everybody's going in there before him. Jesus, by grace,
• 17:02
  his powerful grace, he healed this man by his powerful grace. Jesus
• 17:06
  said to him, get up, take up your bed, and walk verse
• 17:11
  nine. And at once immediately the man was healed. Okay, and he
• 17:18
  took up his bed and walked, just as the Lord commanded. This is
• 17:25
  a powerful, a powerful scripture here Amen, and demonstration of God's grace and
• 17:33
  how he heals nothing too hard for the Lord Amen, I see you,
• 17:40

  Amen. I'm just a little slow today this morning. If I told

  you, if I would tell you how my day went last night, you
• 17:53
  got to be like, okay, Sam need's prayer. Amen. But I

  had a long day. Amen. So all through the night I was asking

  God, you're gonna wake me up right because I'm not probably won'na hear my
• 18:07
  alarm, wake me up lower because it's been a long night last night.

  Amen. But I'm here. It's all good. Good morning to you as
• 18:15
  well. Bro. So yeah, so this man we see Jesus walks up.
• 18:18
  Now, there were other people there, and you might be listen,
• 18:22
  I've been there. I'd be like, how come all these people are getting
• 18:26
  their breakthrough and they're healing? How come people? Because we were in the
• 18:30
  situation, me and my wife, we were having children that were sick,
• 18:34
  like sick to a point of death. And after a while, you know,
• 18:38
  you start thinking in my mind, at least I can't speak for my
• 18:41
  wife, I was like, how come all these other babies are, you
• 18:45
  know, coming out normal and stuff like that. When the mom is smoking
• 18:48
  weed, drinking, the dad is on drugs and all, and you start
• 18:52
  looking at other people, just like that man at the pool. He was
• 18:56
  looking at other people. Man, they getting and they getting healed, they
• 18:59
  getting into water. I try to go and people go before me, so
• 19:03
  I'm thinking they will pushing him back or something like that, because how could
• 19:04
  you be so close yet so far unto your healing. Jesus looked at this
• 19:11
  man, knew that he was there for a long time. Where have you
• 19:14
  been for a long time? God is looking at you today and he's saying,
• 19:18
  listen. I know you've been asking for a long time. I know
• 19:22
  you've been in this condition for a long time. I know you've been afraid
• 19:26
  for a long time. I know you've been frustrated for a long time.
• 19:30
  I know you've been angry for a long time. I know you've been an
• 19:33
  invalid, crippled, laying blind for a long time, maybe even death for
• 19:37
  a long time. But when Jesus speaks to you, listen to what he's
• 19:41
  saying. Amen. Now, how can a person who can't hear listen to
• 19:47
  Jesus by way of the spirit of God? Amen? The spirit man will
• 19:52
  listen, and the spirit man will hear the voice of God. So we're
• 19:56
  without excuse. Right in all areas Jesus shows up. But when he speaks
• 20:00
  to your life and he speaks to my life, amen, we could get
• 20:04
  the healing that he wants to give us by way of his grace. Amen,
• 20:10
  you forget me? Nah, I didn't forget you, bro. You
• 20:14
  forget me on Wednesday, just the sixth, Well your birthday? If that
• 20:21
  If Wednesday sixth was your birthday, look at your inbox, look at your
• 20:23
  Facebook. I definitely said happy birthday, if that's what you're talking about.

  Bro, Amen, I didn't forget So listen, so and we get this

  my am. I okay, Now you will give me grace. Amen,

  are right? So he'll buy power for powerful grace. You imagine thirty eight
• 20:52
  years man, This man had been an invalid, practically unable to move on
• 20:57
  his own for thirty eight years, on a bed on the mat, right
• 21:02
  there on the floor, and looking at everybody there. First of all,
• 21:07
  that's grace right there, that this man was alive so long among people who
• 21:11
  probably could have took advantage of him, murderers, thieves. He could have
• 21:15
  been hurt in the process, he could have been trampled over, but God's
• 21:19
  grace was protecting him. Maybe the assigned angel to this man was protecting him
• 21:26
  from being trampled over. So thirty eight years man unable to move on his
• 21:30
  own, right, he was there. Not only he was in a situation,
• 21:36
  there was other people in a situation as well. Right, Many others
• 21:41
  who suffered from disabilities disease were there near the pool of Bethesda. This pool
• 21:48
  was the site of a great legend that would have been well known at the
• 21:52
  time. Right. And most translations no longer include John five to four because
• 21:59
  they're early, and most reliable manuscripts that we have don't contain this verse.
• 22:03
  So most scholars do not believe verse four to be the apostle John's words.
• 22:08
  Amen. So I'll leave that up to the scholars, Amen, to hash
• 22:12
  that out and battle that out. Amen. All I know is that it's
• 22:17
  recorded that Jesus asks this man, do you want to be healed? Do
• 22:23
  you want to be made well? In other words, Jesus showing up says
• 22:29
  I could do it, just asks. Sometimes we're especially men, we're pride
• 22:33
  for everyone. We don't want to ask for help. Well, listen,
• 22:37
  I got over that long time ago. I'm gonna ask for help because I
• 22:41
  know I can't do this on my own. Amen. When I get to
• 22:44
  certain points of my life, I need the grace of God over my life.
• 22:48
  As a matter of fact, to be honest, I need his grace
• 22:51
  daily, Amen, because I'm a man just like any other man that has
• 22:56
  these things that go on in your mind and your life that caused you to
• 23:02
  get distracted. Amen. So I need the grace of God. To God
• 23:06
  be all the glory and praise, how Lujah, Amen. Amen. So
• 23:14
  you know theologians look at this deeper than I do. Amen. But what
• 23:18
  we have in the scripts, I believe God wants there. If we have
• 23:22
  it in scriptures, I think God wants it there. So in nineteen ninety
• 23:32
  five, in a new American Standard Bible that actually says in John five for
• 23:37
  reads for an angel of the Lord went down at certain seasons into the pool
• 23:41
  and stirred up the water, and I sat saying earlier some people say it
• 23:45
  was angels that were stirring up the water. And whoever then first after the
• 23:48
  stirring up of the water, stepped in was made well from whatever disease with
• 23:53
  which he was afflicted. Now, we gotta be careful with that because you
• 23:57
  know, there was there was gods and Greek gods and mythology that was going
• 24:03
  on at the same time that this happened. That's why it's important to know
• 24:07
  that Jesus showed up and knew that this man was there for a long time
• 24:11
  because maybe people were I think crazy and thinking that there was angels or whatever
• 24:18
  type of forest there in that pool, and they were so focused on the
• 24:22
  pool for their healing that we'll focus on the God who heals by grace.
• 24:26
  It could have been right, if we see something miraculous, we'll start looking
• 24:32
  at the person or the people or the area that this miraculous thing happened.
• 24:36
  We might focus on that more than we're focused on the God who could heal
• 24:40
  us by grace. So we need to be mindful of that that was going
• 24:44
  on in those times as well. Right, So this man was healed.
• 24:48
  That's what we know for sure. The man was healed. He got up,
• 24:52
  and he started walking. You would think for thirty eight years this man
• 24:57
  couldn't do exactly what Jesus told him to do. Why it's amazing when Jesus
• 25:04
  shows up in your life and in my life, he'll say a thing and
• 25:07
  then whatever he says will happen. What is our part? We just have
• 25:11
  to do what he says. This man is showing us that for thirty eight
• 25:15
  years he was like unable to get up and walk. Jesus shows up in
• 25:22
  that long stretch of his life, knew this man was looking at the pool
• 25:25
  for a long time. He knew the situation, and Jesus asked him the
• 25:30
  question, do you want to be made well? Do you want to be
• 25:32
  healed? This man starts explaining the situation instead of answering the question. Jesus
• 25:37
  asks you a question, if he ever would ask you a question, my
• 25:41
  suggestion, a man from experience and by reading the scriptures, just answer the
• 25:45
  question, yes Lord, and then watch what happens. But because God is
• 25:49
  full of grace a man, he didn't go to the next person that needed
• 25:55
  a healing, because remember there were other people that needed to be healed as
• 25:57
  well. No, he stood in the conversation with the man that he was
• 26:03
  addressing, and he says, do you you want to be made well?
• 26:07
  And although this man went on a rabbit trail and he started explaining this and
• 26:12
  that reasons why Jesus because of his love, his grace, and his mercy
• 26:18
  still healed this man. The man got up and walked. Jesus said,
• 26:22
  get up, pick up your mat, pick up your bed, and walk.
• 26:26
  And the man said, you know what, I'm gonna do what the
• 26:27
  Lord says. And he did that, and what happened. He was healed.
• 26:33
  The Pool of Bethesda was huge, with five covered porches. John recorded
• 26:37
  that a multitude of people with disabilities lay around the pool. But the Bible
• 26:42
  doesn't record people actually having been healed by the warders of the pool. So
• 26:49
  people were thinking that the pool was the source of the healing. But could
• 26:53
  it be that they were really getting healed, that it was a superstition thing
• 26:56
