- 0:29Speaker 1: your for you page, and also the styles potentially making
- 0:33Speaker 1: a comeback or just that we're seeing literally everywhere, just
- 0:38Speaker 1: in a friendly little chat which just two little chicks.
- 0:42Speaker 2: Yeah and yeah, yeah.
- 0:45Speaker 1: And we launched this series, if you will last week
- 0:50Speaker 1: and Greedy Little Gobblers.
- 0:53Speaker 2: You loved it.
- 0:53Speaker 1: Yeah, So we're really excited and thank you so much
- 0:56Speaker 1: for the feedback.
- 0:57Speaker 2: It was so positive.
- 0:58Speaker 1: We're so excited because it's really fun, Like I had
- 1:01Speaker 1: so much fun recording last week's episode, and I'm really
- 1:04Speaker 1: excited to jump into this week's topics. Yeah, News Arrivals
- 1:12Speaker 1: number one Millennial Core is back.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Yes, you might not be saying that by the end
- 1:19Speaker 2: of this segment.
- 1:20Speaker 3: Yeah, I just realized what you're talking about.
- 1:23Speaker 1: So peplam was the first amongst the rise of the
- 1:28Speaker 1: two thousand and tens, if you will, millennial core, and
- 1:33Speaker 1: it was seen on celebrities like Emma Stone, Nicole Kidman Zendeya.
- 1:39Speaker 1: And it's definitely a little bit more reimagined and a
- 1:42Speaker 1: little bit modernized. And I think that's the string of
- 1:45Speaker 1: consistency that we can see with trend cycles, Like when
- 1:49Speaker 1: a trend comes back, it's always reimagined some way.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Like look at ballet flats for example.
- 1:55Speaker 1: They were very much a two thousand and twenty tens
- 1:57Speaker 1: millennial core esque vibe, but very much modernized in some ways.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Some of them are tried and true to the olden days,
- 2:06Speaker 1: but they were definitely modernized to kind of have a
- 2:09Speaker 1: little bit of a twist.
- 2:10Speaker 2: And I think that is the point of trends, because
- 2:12Speaker 2: it's like, no, but it's different exactly. No, but you
- 2:15Speaker 2: don't own this. That's so you can't pull it out
- 2:18Speaker 2: of your garage because it's different.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Whilst Peplin had its time in the sun, I would say.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Maybe six months ago.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Yep. This week, the bandage dress is back House of
- 2:29Speaker 1: CAB's latest collection has just dropped, with a number of
- 2:34Speaker 1: different styles of bandage dresses. The collection includes an array
- 2:40Speaker 1: of colors, including your neutrals like black and cream white,
- 2:44Speaker 1: but also your greens, oranges and pinks.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Very two thousand.
- 2:52Speaker 1: And tens core Paris Hilton even commented on one of
- 2:57Speaker 1: their posts celebrating with some emojis, and there are definitely
- 3:04Speaker 1: some thoughts, feelings, and emotions and there's very few in
- 3:09Speaker 1: the middle. The collection starts at three hundred and one dollars.
- 3:13Speaker 4: Aud Wow, but I'm like, how long until we see
- 3:18Speaker 4: this on Princess poly for one hundred and thirty bucks?
- 3:23Speaker 2: Agreed?
- 3:24Speaker 1: I think House of CB like consistently has a high
- 3:29Speaker 1: price tag. Do I think a bandage dress needs to
- 3:33Speaker 1: be three hundred.
- 3:34Speaker 2: Dollars I'm not sure.
- 3:36Speaker 1: I'm not sure, but that's also their branding, you know,
- 3:39Speaker 1: so true. Yeah, like they're probably not going to all
- 3:42Speaker 1: of a sudden drop like a super affordable dress. But
- 3:44Speaker 1: also I do wonder does a bandage dress need to
- 3:48Speaker 1: be of high quality for the structure, because it has
- 3:51Speaker 1: a very specific.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Shape it does.
- 3:54Speaker 1: I looked into the fabric and fiber composition what have
- 3:58Speaker 1: we got?
- 3:58Speaker 2: And it was pretty.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Dominantly a nylon elastine blend, which we're not designers or buyers.
- 4:06Speaker 1: So you know, we're not going to say that we
- 4:08Speaker 1: know exactly what these costs to make, but traditionally those
- 4:12Speaker 1: fibers haven't necessarily come with a high price tag to
- 4:18Speaker 1: construct a garment. Again, we don't know what the cost
- 4:22Speaker 1: of construction is in their warehouse or whatever that is,
- 4:26Speaker 1: but I think it's fair to say there's a pretty
- 4:29Speaker 1: hefty mark up there.
- 4:31Speaker 2: Yeah, one hundred percent.
- 4:33Speaker 1: So if you're unfamiliar with the icon, and I do
- 4:38Speaker 1: believe it is an icon, that is the bandage dress.
- 4:41Speaker 1: It was a twenty tens staple worn by the likes
- 4:45Speaker 1: of Kim Kardashian, Rhianna, Miranda Ker and every millennial going
- 4:50Speaker 1: out into the CBD with the girls and their sky
- 4:55Speaker 1: high stiletto heels.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Did you ever wear a band stress?
- 5:01Speaker 4: I was an emo, So no, it doesn't sit in
- 5:05Speaker 4: my aesthetic and never has, and I don't think it
- 5:08Speaker 4: ever will. I don't think I could ever styl it
- 5:10Speaker 4: in a way that I would feel like myself, but
- 5:13Speaker 4: I do recall like Kim Kardashian and Rihanna wearing them
- 5:16Speaker 4: and like thinking it looked amazing on them.
- 5:18Speaker 1: The reviews are very mixed, and I would go as
- 5:22Speaker 1: far to say that this launch has been a success
- 5:25Speaker 1: for the brand. While I haven't seen any of the
- 5:28Speaker 1: items sold out at the time of this recording, the
- 5:32Speaker 1: social likes versus the comments has been misbalanced. One of
- 5:36Speaker 1: the posts about the Bandage Stress collection had thirty two
- 5:41Speaker 1: thousand likes wow, and one hundred and twenty three comments.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Now the comments are very mixed, some saying millennial core
- 5:50Speaker 1: is back. Am I the only one who thinks bandage
- 5:52Speaker 1: stresses look cheap?
- 5:54Speaker 2: One hundred percent?
- 5:56Speaker 1: Understand it's to appreciate where you started, but it feels
- 5:59Speaker 1: off brandy current persona.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Another one said House of CB is my favorite.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Please don't do this to yourselves, And then there were
- 6:07Speaker 1: also other comments saying I love it, vibes, vibes vibes,
- 6:12Speaker 1: another one saying why are people saying it doesn't feel
- 6:14Speaker 1: on brand?
- 6:15Speaker 2: You clearly don't know the brand.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Then and finally, I'm born in ninety four, I'm here
- 6:20Speaker 1: for the comeback. When we posted it on our own
- 6:23Speaker 1: page alerting to the rise, the sentiment was similarly the same,
- 6:29Speaker 1: potentially more skewing towards please God know, Yeah, yeah, I
- 6:35Speaker 1: think the reviews on this are mixed, like people are
- 6:39Speaker 1: either for it or against it, and that is very
- 6:43Speaker 1: common when it comes to trends. I was thinking about
- 6:47Speaker 1: this and I when I first.
- 6:49Speaker 2: Saw it, I was on the yol did you ever
- 6:53Speaker 2: wear one? I did? Okay, I did, feeling I was
- 6:56Speaker 2: from a flashback h To.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Be honest, I loved mine back then, like I didn't
- 7:03Speaker 1: dislike it. I felt very hot in my bandage dress
- 7:08Speaker 1: back then. It's not necessarily something that I would wear
- 7:12Speaker 1: now my style evolution has very much changed. I could
- 7:16Speaker 1: potentially get around like a chocolate brown bandage tank top
- 7:23Speaker 1: that I could see as like a modernized version of it,
- 7:27Speaker 1: that's like a superstructured tank. Yeah, that's in a color that's.
- 7:32Speaker 2: A little bit less millennial.
- 7:35Speaker 1: But it's not necessarily something that I ran to the
- 7:37Speaker 1: house of C. B Side to purchase to continue. And
- 7:42Speaker 1: this is the secret I have been keeping to you
- 7:46Speaker 1: on the fact that millennial core is back. The final
- 7:50Speaker 1: trend that has been called out to have its resurgence
- 7:53Speaker 1: is that neon is back. According to Vogue Australia.
- 7:58Speaker 3: Oh what are we talking?
- 8:01Speaker 4: So?
- 8:01Speaker 1: The publication's recent feature highlights the resurgence of neon in
- 8:06Speaker 1: contemporary fashion, with designers such as Memeu and Prada, who
- 8:10Speaker 1: are embracing fluorescent shades, think electric pinks, luminous screens, and
- 8:16Speaker 1: radiant yellows to infuse energy and optimism into their collections.
- 8:25Speaker 1: And it's very much high fashion at the moment. I'm
- 8:31Speaker 1: not necessarily sure we've seen this filtered down into everyday stores.
- 8:36Speaker 2: Yet, and I'm not really sure when we will. What
- 8:42Speaker 2: are your thoughts.
- 8:43Speaker 4: I think it's so interesting, but I just think these
- 8:46Speaker 4: things do happen in cycles, because for the last few years,
- 8:50Speaker 4: old money, quiet, luxury capsule wardrobe has been the trend,
- 8:57Speaker 4: and this is the reverse of that, and I think
- 9:00Speaker 4: we see that happen time and time again in fashion.
- 9:03Speaker 4: It was like in the seventies, boho and flowy and
- 9:06Speaker 4: natural hues.
- 9:07Speaker 2: Was in fashion.
- 9:08Speaker 4: Then in the eighties it was all about big, exaggerated
- 9:11Speaker 4: silhouettes and neon and color. Then in the nineties it
- 9:15Speaker 4: was no, let's go muted again, but we're going grungy.
- 9:18Speaker 4: Then in the two thousands it was no, everything's bubblegum pink.
- 9:20Speaker 3: Like, we see this kind.
- 9:22Speaker 4: Of rebellion against what's been in fashion in the previous
- 9:26Speaker 4: season happened time and time again. But with the way
- 9:30Speaker 4: that the fashion cycles work. Now they're happening so much quicker.
- 9:33Speaker 4: It's so it happens so quick. So rather than it
- 9:36Speaker 4: being a decade that represents it's like one year. Yeah,
- 9:39Speaker 4: a decade that represents an entire sort of aesthetic. Now
- 9:42Speaker 4: it's yeah, perhaps even just a season. So I wouldn't
- 9:46Speaker 4: be surprised if this is something that we see in
- 9:49Speaker 4: our fast fashion retailers. By the time spring and summer
- 9:51Speaker 4: comes around, well, it's already in pop culture. Look at
- 9:55Speaker 4: brat Summer so true at how neon green was the
- 10:00Speaker 4: color for an entire year and still continues to reign supreme.
- 10:06Speaker 4: We've also seen Addison Ray in her latest album featuring
- 10:10Speaker 4: neon pink hair, and it's kind of being seen within
- 10:14Speaker 4: green micro shorts and pink ballet flats. That, yeah, millennial
- 10:19Speaker 4: core is having a resurgence from the fashion graveyard, and
- 10:25Speaker 4: I'm scared. I'm interested to see how this arises, because,
- 10:32Speaker 4: as always with trends, we take the stance that you
- 10:37Speaker 4: have free will, you can wear whatever you want. Do
- 10:42Speaker 4: you need to wear every single trend?
- 10:44Speaker 2: No?
- 10:45Speaker 1: Do you need to feel like you can't play around
- 10:47Speaker 1: with trends because they're bad and vilified. Also, no, you're
- 10:51Speaker 1: allowed to have self expression and experiment in the goals
- 10:56Speaker 1: of finding things that do fit your style, personality and
- 11:01Speaker 1: what makes you feel good and fun and.
- 11:02Speaker 2: If that's Fluo Pink pop off.
- 11:05Speaker 4: News Arrivals Number two Balenciaga drops Britney Spears merch collaboration
- 11:10Speaker 4: with prices starting at around fifteen hundred dollars.
- 11:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:15Speaker 4: So, this week Balenciaga dropped its Spring twenty twenty six
- 11:20Speaker 4: collection Exactitudes, including a collaboration with Britney Spears that included
- 11:26Speaker 4: a merch line and also a curated playlist.
- 11:31Speaker 2: What what was in the playlist?
- 11:32Speaker 3: The ultimate accessory remixes of Britney?
- 11:35Speaker 2: Were they fresh songs?
- 11:37Speaker 4: No, they're not fresh songs, They're just remixes of Britney
- 11:41Speaker 4: hits that new remixes, Yeah, I believe, so okay, Yeah,
- 11:44Speaker 4: and those are free and available to the public. But
- 11:47Speaker 4: thought it was an interesting yeah, very much say interesting inclusion.
- 11:50Speaker 2: Okay. So this collection.
- 11:52Speaker 4: Marks Demna's last with Balenciaga before moving to his new
- 11:56Speaker 4: role as artistic director of Gucci. So so an interesting
- 12:01Speaker 4: legacy to leave behind. And when I first saw this,
- 12:06Speaker 4: I wondered, is Britney involved in this collaboration, and I
- 12:10Speaker 4: think with her conservativeship and you know a lot of
- 12:14Speaker 4: those things in the past, I wasn't the only person
- 12:16Speaker 4: having this question, but she apparently is involved, and she
- 12:20Speaker 4: made this statement in the press release. I have always
- 12:24Speaker 4: loved fashion and was so honored and excited Balenciaga and
- 12:28Speaker 4: Demna chose to collaborate with me on Demna's last collection
- 12:31Speaker 4: with the House, Britney said in the statement, adding I
- 12:34Speaker 4: hope my fans love it as much as I do.
- 12:37Speaker 4: These are some of my favorite images from such an
- 12:39Speaker 4: amazing time in my career and life, and I'm so
- 12:42Speaker 4: excited to share it with everyone.
- 12:45Speaker 3: So the images on the.
- 12:47Speaker 2: Merge, Yeah, what's in the merch?
- 12:49Speaker 3: Yeah, so it's a series of T shirts.
- 12:51Speaker 1: Also saying merch in relation to Balenciaga is kind of wild.
- 12:58Speaker 3: Yeah, it's really interesting.
- 13:00Speaker 4: So the collection includes a series of T shirts, hoodies,
- 13:04Speaker 4: and caps, the majority of which are like graphic T shirts.
- 13:09Speaker 3: They either have a picture of.
- 13:11Speaker 4: Britney or like the Britney Spears logo that we were
- 13:15Speaker 4: used to seeing in the two thousands that was on
- 13:17Speaker 4: our album artwork, or when you brought merch back in
- 13:19Speaker 4: the day, yeah, and the images are pulled from a
- 13:22Speaker 4: two thousand and four Blender magazine shoot.
- 13:26Speaker 3: They're pretty iconic images. I would definitely rock one on
- 13:30Speaker 3: a T shirt.
- 13:31Speaker 4: However, unsurprisingly, the collection has received quite a bit of
- 13:36Speaker 4: critique because.
- 13:37Speaker 3: Of the price point.
- 13:39Speaker 4: Yeah, so let's run through how much the Britney, Spears
- 13:44Speaker 4: and Balenciaga collaboration costs. So the range includes T shirts
- 13:49Speaker 4: starting at twelve hundred and fifty dollars, distress caps from
- 13:53Speaker 4: eighteen ninety.
- 13:55Speaker 2: Eight hundred and ninety.
- 13:56Speaker 4: Dollars, hoodies from two thousand, two hundred and ninety dollars,
- 14:03Speaker 4: and flags Flags Flags.
- 14:07Speaker 3: For almost fifteen hundred dollars.
- 14:10Speaker 2: That is robbery, Yeah.
- 14:15Speaker 4: I will say, I did say on a post published
- 14:19Speaker 4: on the Diet Prata instagram page about the collaboration. One
- 14:23Speaker 4: of the top comments on the post said it's giving
- 14:26Speaker 4: h and M merch loll and that had almost twelve
- 14:28Speaker 4: hundred likes, which I do think a lot of people
- 14:31Speaker 4: are saying, they're like, well.
- 14:32Speaker 1: It's exactly what's the difference between this and me going
- 14:36Speaker 1: and buying a.
- 14:38Speaker 2: T shirt with Brittany on it.
- 14:39Speaker 1: I think the difference is, you know, Britney's been involved
- 14:42Speaker 1: in this one personally and closely, which you know she
- 14:47Speaker 1: didn't have that for a really long time. Yeah.
- 14:50Speaker 4: I will say, like, the shirts do look incredible quality.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Hundred, but not for I wonder if this is an
- 15:01Speaker 1: attempt for Balenciaga to move out of basically they're canceled
- 15:08Speaker 1: situation that they've had from very rightfully so negative media.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:16Speaker 4: Well that was the first thing that I thought when
- 15:19Speaker 4: I saw the collaboration as well, and we're not alone
- 15:22Speaker 4: on that same diet Pritor post. The caption was can
- 15:26Speaker 4: Brittany uncancel Balenciaga? Question mark loll so to refresh your
- 15:32Speaker 4: memory if you don't remember to reass through Balenciaga was
- 15:35Speaker 4: canceled because yeah, it's hard to keep up with cancel culture,
- 15:39Speaker 4: but this one did cause quite a stir, and I
- 15:42Speaker 4: think for good reason. So to refresh your memory. The
- 15:45Speaker 4: high fashion brand was canceled in late twenty twenty two
- 15:48Speaker 4: after releasing controversial ad campaigns featuring children holding Teddy Bears
- 15:53Speaker 4: in BDSM style outfits, and then also in another campaign,
- 15:58Speaker 4: it featured court documents in an office flat lay setting
- 16:03Speaker 4: that related to child exploitation, sparking widespread backlash over perceived
- 16:09Speaker 4: inappropriate messaging and lack of oversight. So it was these
- 16:12Speaker 4: two things that happened very closely to each other, and
- 16:15Speaker 4: everybody was like, what the fuck Balenciaga? Literally, And the
- 16:20Speaker 4: thing is is that these things have to pass through
- 16:22Speaker 4: so many hands that I'm like, who, why wasn't there
- 16:26Speaker 4: somebody on set combing through that document reading every single line?
- 16:30Speaker 4: Like why wasn't this a bespoke document made in house
- 16:33Speaker 4: that was about Balenciaga, Like, you guys can.
- 16:35Speaker 2: Afford to have the people checking.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Yeah, you're charging literally a kidney for a T shirt.
- 16:41Speaker 4: Yeah, you can afford to have so many fact checking
- 16:43Speaker 4: the documents in your campaigns. And then that doesn't even
- 16:47Speaker 4: touch on the fact that you have images of children
- 16:49Speaker 4: wearing harnesses and is yu kid It's yeah, so rightfully.
- 16:55Speaker 4: So I think a lot of people were really really outraged.
- 16:59Speaker 1: Did they go to ground? Like did they kind of
- 17:01Speaker 1: go to ground for a bit after that? And then
- 17:04Speaker 1: when we were talking about this earlier this week, we
- 17:06Speaker 1: were kind of talking about how they then did that
- 17:08Speaker 1: outdoor runway, yeah, which Kim Kardashian was at.
- 17:13Speaker 4: So it's really interesting because I thought the same thing.
- 17:16Speaker 4: I was like, yeah, I feel like Balenciaga went to
- 17:19Speaker 4: ground and we hadn't heard from them for a while,
- 17:22Speaker 4: and then people just sort of slowly started peppering it
- 17:24Speaker 4: back in right.
- 17:25Speaker 3: But then when I was looking back.
- 17:26Speaker 4: Over it, I was like, late twenty twenty two wasn't
- 17:28Speaker 4: that long ago? And in the Amedia aftermath, Balenciaga and
- 17:34Speaker 4: Damna did issue apologies for the apparent oversight, so they
- 17:38Speaker 4: were so sorry, that's not the intention of the campaign,
- 17:40Speaker 4: accepted responsibility, YadA, YadA, YadA. And then Kim Kardashian was
- 17:45Speaker 4: also pressured at the time to make a statement because
- 17:49Speaker 4: she has been a long time muse for the brand
- 17:52Speaker 4: and is constantly in their campaigns wearing their clothes and
- 17:56Speaker 4: has been associated with the brand for a long time.
- 17:58Speaker 4: And I think also as a mum, people like, what
- 18:01Speaker 4: the fuck, like, you need to say something and expected
- 18:04Speaker 4: her to speak upon it, and she did, and she
- 18:06Speaker 4: said that she was reconsidering her alignment with the brand
- 18:10Speaker 4: and that she thought it was very disturbing. However, you
- 18:13Speaker 4: mentioned this runway, yeah, which we saw, and that was
- 18:17Speaker 4: in late twenty twenty three, So that was the Balenciaga
- 18:20Speaker 4: fool show, and that was the one that was quite
- 18:23Speaker 4: iconic at the time, but I think also did cause
- 18:26Speaker 4: quite disturb because it was soon after all of this
- 18:28Speaker 4: controversy and the campaign was an ode to like Hollywood
- 18:32Speaker 4: two thousand's iconic moments. So it was a runway outside
- 18:37Speaker 4: on the streets of Hollywood with like the Hollywood Sign
- 18:39Speaker 4: in the background, the palm trees, like very iconic visually,
- 18:43Speaker 4: But we saw Kim Kardashi in there, Kendall Jenner was there,
- 18:47Speaker 4: Nicole Kidman was there, and Samahayak was there as well
- 18:51Speaker 4: as a bunch of other well known celebs. So that
- 18:55Speaker 4: was only a year after that, and people were still
- 18:59Speaker 4: like supportive of.
- 19:00Speaker 3: Brand and going to their events.
- 19:02Speaker 4: And then we've also seen Kim like wearing Balenciaga still
- 19:07Speaker 4: since then and has been, you know, like posting in
- 19:11Speaker 4: her Instagram going to red carpet events and not not
- 19:13Speaker 4: wearing Balenciaga last year. She was also the face of
- 19:18Speaker 4: the bel Air handbag campaign in October twenty twenty four.
- 19:22Speaker 4: So I'm not really sure because she said that she was, yeah,
- 19:26Speaker 4: reevaluating her alignment with the brand, but it seems like
- 19:31Speaker 4: maybe she took a few months off but then immediately
- 19:35Speaker 4: has been working with them, so I'm not sure what's
- 19:37Speaker 4: happened what behind the scenes.
- 19:38Speaker 1: Theems like is that Balenciaga is using such big name
- 19:44Speaker 1: celebrities to potentially drown out the media backlash that resulted
- 19:51Speaker 1: after that campaign and collection. And yeah, I think diet
- 19:57Speaker 1: Prata's caption kind of is the question really.
- 20:01Speaker 4: Yeah, but I just wonder if you want to uncancel
- 20:04Speaker 4: your brand is a collaboration with Britney Spears with price
- 20:08Speaker 4: points starting at fifteen hundred dollars going to do that?
- 20:12Speaker 2: Interesting, We'll see, okay.
- 20:14Speaker 1: And then to wrap up the episode with our final
- 20:17Speaker 1: news arrivals of the week is that end of financial
- 20:20Speaker 1: year is in full swing. Normally we start seeing midyear
- 20:25Speaker 1: sales dropping within the last week of June. However, we
- 20:29Speaker 1: saw these sales dropping as early as the end of May.
- 20:33Speaker 1: And not to be dramatic, but I think some of
- 20:38Speaker 1: these sales are just as good, if not better than
- 20:41Speaker 1: Black Friday and End of financial year sales are basically
- 20:46Speaker 1: for brands to move old stock or stock they have
- 20:50Speaker 1: too much of, in order to make more room for
- 20:53Speaker 1: the new financial year. It's a goal to either make
- 20:56Speaker 1: more money before the financial year runs out or move
- 21:00Speaker 1: more stock out so that they can make more money
- 21:02Speaker 1: in the new financial year. And we've seen brands going
- 21:05Speaker 1: on sale that we see every year, but also some
- 21:08Speaker 1: brands offering deals that are better and also brands having
- 21:12Speaker 1: deals had a worse So we've seen the very consistent
- 21:17Speaker 1: sales from David Jones who are offering twenty to fifty
- 21:21Speaker 1: percent off fashion, home, beauty and more, Maya who have
- 21:24Speaker 1: up to fifty percent with their stock take sale. We've
- 21:27Speaker 1: seen h and M offering up to fifty percent off
- 21:30Speaker 1: and Lulu Lemon with up to fifty percent off. However,
- 21:33Speaker 1: we've also seen brands like Dish offering twenty percent off
- 21:37Speaker 1: sitewide including sale items, which is not common for brands.
- 21:42Speaker 1: But the other one that is absolutely underrated that I
- 21:45Speaker 1: haven't seen people discussing is Style Runner. Style Runner have
- 21:49Speaker 1: an up to fifty percent off mid year sale with
- 21:54Speaker 1: so many cult favorite brands, think New Balance and all
- 21:59Speaker 1: your favorite wear brands. Star Runner have such a great
- 22:03Speaker 1: sale selection because a lot of the time with end
- 22:06Speaker 1: of financial year sales, people think it's going to be
- 22:08Speaker 1: all the old shit the barrel, bottom of the barrel.
- 22:11Speaker 1: Sephora have beauty blenders for fourteen dollars.
- 22:14Speaker 2: There are new balanced sneakers for sixty dollars.
- 22:18Speaker 1: Also on the dome there are half price added as sneakers.
- 22:23Speaker 1: And end of financial year sales is a great time
- 22:26Speaker 1: to restock on items in your wardrobe that you haven't
- 22:30Speaker 1: necessarily had the chance to renew. I would say I
- 22:34Speaker 1: talk about it like it's stock, because it is, but
- 22:36Speaker 1: it's a great way to get.
- 22:37Speaker 2: Ahead of those items.
- 22:38Speaker 1: It's also the perfect time to stock up on white
- 22:42Speaker 1: goods and furniture. So freedom is having a bunch of
- 22:46Speaker 1: sales the good guys Bingley and remembering that you can
- 22:49Speaker 1: price match. So we have put together our end of
- 22:52Speaker 1: financial year sales cheat sheet. It is linked in the
