Thunderstorms and flash floods are bearing down on Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire with a second yellow warning from the Met Office—set to hit Wednesday afternoon through evening. Brace for heavy downpours, possible 40mm of rain in hours, lightning, gusty winds, and hail, especially after weeks of scorching dry weather. SEPA urges residents to prepare, protect homes, and stay alert—flooding could strike roads, low-lying zones, and small rivers. Check Floodline or SEPA’s site for updates.
