- 0:02Speaker 1: Welcome to the Rogue recap. Hot takes, cold facts and
- 0:06Speaker 1: zero respect for the official narrative. Sit back, roll your eyes,
- 0:11Speaker 1: and let's recap rogue style. What's up, everybody? Welcome to
- 0:16Speaker 1: the Roague Recap. I am Linda McLaughlin. Happy to be
- 0:19Speaker 1: with you here on this Thursday, March nineteenth, watching and
- 0:23Speaker 1: very proud of Senator Mike Lee of Utah still holding strong.
- 0:27Speaker 1: Three o'clock in the morning. Last night he was on
- 0:31Speaker 1: the Senate floor preaching the good word of you know, constitutionality,
- 0:37Speaker 1: the rights of American citizens and that those rights belong
- 0:41Speaker 1: to American citizens and American citizens only a novel concept,
- 0:46Speaker 1: but one I'm a big fan of, and I'm so
- 0:49Speaker 1: grateful to him for really sort of being the champion
- 0:53Speaker 1: and the leader through all of this. There are many
- 0:56Speaker 1: other Senators that are helping. Senator Whostead came out today
- 1:02Speaker 1: with an id amendment. Senator Schmidt came out with some amendments.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Senator Cruz is obviously constitutionally an exceptional arbiter of information
- 1:14Speaker 1: on this crisis that we have happening in our nation,
- 1:17Speaker 1: which is way too many people who don't belong here
- 1:20Speaker 1: voting in our elections. Because the people that are currently
- 1:23Speaker 1: holding office for about eight thousand years are afraid that
- 1:26Speaker 1: they're finally going to lose because they're bought and paid for,
- 1:29Speaker 1: constituency will no longer be able to scam American taxpayers
- 1:34Speaker 1: who foot the bill for their fraud. So that is
- 1:37Speaker 1: the Save Act update in a nutshell. Today, I am
- 1:41Speaker 1: going to talk to you about common sense. I was
- 1:46Speaker 1: having a conversation with a friend today and I'm curious
- 1:49Speaker 1: what you guys think about this. And there's a person
- 1:53Speaker 1: who I don't think is necessarily a very good person.
- 1:57Speaker 1: And he's one of these people where he's nice like
- 2:01Speaker 1: famous people or rich people, you know, but your everyday
- 2:05Speaker 1: person he probably doesn't really care all that much about
- 2:08Speaker 1: and certainly doesn't lend them the same I don't know
- 2:14Speaker 1: regard if you will. So this person just found out
- 2:19Speaker 1: that they have cancer and I was talking to another
- 2:23Speaker 1: friend about it, and this friend said, oh, did you
- 2:26Speaker 1: hear so and so has cancer? And I said yeah,
- 2:31Speaker 1: and they were like, yeah, it's horrible. I'm like, he's
- 2:32Speaker 1: still an asshole, Like just because you got cancer doesn't
- 2:36Speaker 1: mean you're not an asshole anymore. And everybody's like, oh
- 2:39Speaker 1: my god, I can't believe he said that. I'm like,
- 2:41Speaker 1: I'm not saying I hope he dies. I'm just saying
- 2:42Speaker 1: he's not a nice person. Like I'm not wishing cancer
- 2:46Speaker 1: on him. He got cancer. But I just thought it
- 2:49Speaker 1: was so interesting how it was like, oh, he has cancer,
- 2:51Speaker 1: so now he's okay. I'm like, no, he's just an
- 2:53Speaker 1: asshole with cancer. What I don't know. And I sort
- 2:58Speaker 1: of feel this way about a lot of things right
- 3:00Speaker 1: where suddenly because something happens. You know, my husband made
- 3:04Speaker 1: a great analogy and he said, yeah, it's like when
- 3:07Speaker 1: a teenager that's been involved in like gangs or crime
- 3:11Speaker 1: or just always on the wrong side of the law,
- 3:13Speaker 1: you know, gets caught in some kind of fight altercation,
- 3:16Speaker 1: gets shot dies, and suddenly it's like, oh my poor baby,
- 3:19Speaker 1: and it's like, well, yeah, he got shot robbing a store.
- 3:23Speaker 1: So it's just this common sense narrative that seems to
- 3:27Speaker 1: elude everyone. Today. I read the story of Sarah Huckabye Sanders.
- 3:33Speaker 1: She's the governor of Arkansas. She's the former governor's daughter
- 3:37Speaker 1: Mike Huckabee, who now serves as the ambassador to Israel,
- 3:41Speaker 1: and she posted this story. I'll read it to you,
- 3:46Speaker 1: because I'm sure you haven't heard of it because it's
- 3:47Speaker 1: not getting a lot of play. But it's a really sad,
- 3:52Speaker 1: sad state of our affairs in this nation. So she
- 3:57Speaker 1: writes on her ex account last week, I was having
- 3:59Speaker 1: lunch with two other moms at a restaurant when the
- 4:02Speaker 1: owner approached a member of the State Police Executive Protection
- 4:06Speaker 1: Detail and said my presence made their employees feel threatened,
- 4:11Speaker 1: and they told us to leave. Now, Arkansasans are known
- 4:14Speaker 1: for their warm hospitality, and while that restaurant didn't meet
- 4:18Speaker 1: that standard, my administration will continue to focus on lifting
- 4:22Speaker 1: Arkansasans up and not tearing others down. Now, if you remember,
- 4:27Speaker 1: when she was the Press secretary during President Trump's first term,
- 4:32Speaker 1: she was at a restaurant also in Little Rock, Arkansas,
- 4:37Speaker 1: and it was called the Red Hen, and they did
- 4:40Speaker 1: the same thing. They asked her to leave because she
- 4:43Speaker 1: worked for Trump. That restaurant went out of business. So
- 4:47Speaker 1: what I'm trying to understand, and it's something that it
- 4:51Speaker 1: troubles me right because I am a deeply passionate person
- 4:55Speaker 1: when it comes to my closely held beliefs right God, family, guns, America,
- 5:03Speaker 1: and the right to think what I want. To think
- 5:06Speaker 1: when I want to think it and not have somebody
- 5:08Speaker 1: intrude on those rights. And so what happens is the
- 5:12Speaker 1: left preaches that same mantra, but they don't practice it right,
- 5:17Speaker 1: no common sense that it's actually so. It's so entitled
- 5:23Speaker 1: the way that the left thinks, they believe that they
- 5:27Speaker 1: should be allowed to do whatever they want and then
- 5:31Speaker 1: also tell you to do whatever they want, while the
- 5:34Speaker 1: right is a more independent thinker, sometimes too much so,
- 5:39Speaker 1: which is why Republicans as a whole, as we're looking
- 5:42Speaker 1: here in the Save Act, they can't unite. They can't
- 5:45Speaker 1: unite for a moment because they want to stand out
- 5:48Speaker 1: and they want to be independent on certain issues. And
- 5:51Speaker 1: it's like it's funny like Ram Paul yesterday during the
- 5:54Speaker 1: Mark Wayne Mullen testimony as he was sitting before the
- 5:59Speaker 1: Senate for his confirmation hearings. You know, Ram Paul was
- 6:03Speaker 1: very upset because he's like, you know, Mark Wayne Mullen
- 6:05Speaker 1: is a bully, and he thinks you could settle things
- 6:07Speaker 1: with your fists. And I thought to myself, well, there
- 6:11Speaker 1: was a time when some things were settled with our fists,
- 6:15Speaker 1: and we say, would you like to step outside, and
- 6:17Speaker 1: you had an option at that point to kindly step
- 6:20Speaker 1: away and say no, thank you, or you could say
- 6:22Speaker 1: yes I would. And I'm not saying that that's the
- 6:25Speaker 1: way that things should be, but sometimes it is the
- 6:29Speaker 1: way that they are. Again, common sense knowing when to
- 6:33Speaker 1: step in and step out, and when situations require certain behaviors,
- 6:39Speaker 1: common sense is falling down the steps, into the river
- 6:43Speaker 1: and into a horrible death. There are so few people
- 6:47Speaker 1: that are able to a problem solve and be able
- 6:52Speaker 1: to realize when certain situations weren't either a closer look
- 6:57Speaker 1: or maybe no look at all. Maybe sometimes things just
- 7:01Speaker 1: are what they are. There are moments like this when
- 7:05Speaker 1: I see a restaurant choose to ask somebody to leave
- 7:11Speaker 1: their establishment and treat that person like that, and I think,
- 7:15Speaker 1: why why would you come up and do that? Why
- 7:18Speaker 1: would you tell them? And by the way, the name
- 7:20Speaker 1: of the restaurant, it's called the Croissantier or Croissanterie, and
- 7:27Speaker 1: it's also in Little Rock. I don't know what's going
- 7:29Speaker 1: on in Little Rock. And the two chefs are Jill
- 7:34Speaker 1: McDonald and Wendy Shay. So Jill and Wendy decided that
- 7:39Speaker 1: they wanted to ask the governor of their state, who
- 7:43Speaker 1: had decided to come and sit in their restaurant to
- 7:46Speaker 1: leave because people that worked in their restaurant were nervous
- 7:50Speaker 1: that she was there. Nobody was bothering anybody, Nobody was
- 7:53Speaker 1: doing anything. And here's what's interesting, right, what was making
- 7:57Speaker 1: you nervous? What was bothering you? What was me making
- 8:00Speaker 1: you feel like you couldn't go about your business or
- 8:03Speaker 1: do your job. Typically when people get nervous around police,
- 8:07Speaker 1: or they get nervous around people that hold positions of
- 8:11Speaker 1: power or in government, it's because they're doing something wrong.
- 8:15Speaker 1: You must be doing something wrong if you think somebody's
- 8:19Speaker 1: standing there, Like the guy that's providing security detail has
- 8:23Speaker 1: two jobs. He has to pay attention to everything that's
- 8:27Speaker 1: happening around him, and everything that's happening around the governor,
- 8:31Speaker 1: and make sure that he is on high alert so
- 8:33Speaker 1: that God forbids something does happen, he can respond. And
- 8:36Speaker 1: these people that work there think that they're watching them
- 8:39Speaker 1: pick up plates and bus tables, that's not what's happening.
- 8:43Speaker 1: This is not an example of a moment where you're
- 8:47Speaker 1: feeling that maybe you're being ostracized or targeted. Right, it's
- 8:54Speaker 1: this mantra that puts common sense to the side and
- 8:58Speaker 1: then says, like what we saw Minnesota, I'm allowed to
- 9:02Speaker 1: go out, stand in the middle of the street, kick
- 9:06Speaker 1: DHS officers, throw things at them, attack them, stand in
- 9:10Speaker 1: front of their vehicles, obstruct ongoing investigations, follow police vehicles
- 9:15Speaker 1: as they're going to arrest people. There's no common sense,
- 9:20Speaker 1: and so they see these instances and then they relate
- 9:23Speaker 1: it to a governor who at that moment wasn't the governor.
- 9:27Speaker 1: She was just a mom sitting down with two other
- 9:30Speaker 1: moms talking about mom stuff, and they made her leave.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Now here's an interesting note. She had been there, she
- 9:38Speaker 1: had her meal, she paid for her meal, and then
- 9:41Speaker 1: they kicked her out. Why why would you do any
- 9:45Speaker 1: of that? Why would you make someone feel like that.
- 9:48Speaker 1: The idea behind having a restaurant is to welcome everyone. Now,
- 9:52Speaker 1: if somebody comes in and they're drunk, or somebody comes
- 9:54Speaker 1: in and they're causing a scene, or if somebody comes
- 9:57Speaker 1: in and they're being I don't know, demor to one
- 10:00Speaker 1: of your employees, or they're harassing one of your employees,
- 10:04Speaker 1: sure you reserve the right to kick them out. Absolutely.
- 10:07Speaker 1: You're a private business and you can do that. And
- 10:10Speaker 1: what's interesting is in this case, because the person that
- 10:13Speaker 1: they're kicking out is a conservative, nobody will cover this.
- 10:17Speaker 1: You won't see this on the view, you won't see
- 10:19Speaker 1: it in People magazine, you won't hear about it on
- 10:22Speaker 1: your you know, alphabet city mainstream media, you're not going
- 10:25Speaker 1: to hear anything about it. But God forbid that was
- 10:30Speaker 1: Jasmine Crockett, God forbid that was Joy Reid. God forbid
- 10:35Speaker 1: it was the Clinton's or the Obamas. You would hear
- 10:40Speaker 1: about it for days and days. Why because they can
- 10:46Speaker 1: make it into something that it's not. If I own
- 10:50Speaker 1: a restaurant and you come in and I'm a conservative
- 10:52Speaker 1: and you're a Democrat, and I'm like, you know what,
- 10:54Speaker 1: I don't want to see your face in my restaurant.
- 10:56Speaker 1: I can do one of two things. I can serve
- 10:59Speaker 1: you a bit beautiful meal and you'll reluctantly have to
- 11:01Speaker 1: tell me how wonderful it is, even though you're a
- 11:03Speaker 1: begrudgingly angry Democrat who doesn't want to say it. Or
- 11:09Speaker 1: I can tell you to get out. What do you
- 11:11Speaker 1: think the smarter thing is to do. You're in business,
- 11:14Speaker 1: especially the restaurant business. You are in business to feed
- 11:17Speaker 1: people and make money. I mean, this is your whole
- 11:21Speaker 1: reason for cooking and opening up a place to eat.
- 11:24Speaker 1: And the idea that you would say, I don't like
- 11:26Speaker 1: the governor, I don't want to serve them, but that's
- 11:28Speaker 1: not what happened. They did serve her, then they decided
- 11:31Speaker 1: to treat her like shit. So we go into this
- 11:35Speaker 1: other issue of looking around and watching things that are
- 11:39Speaker 1: happening and saying that feels wrong. For example, if we
- 11:43Speaker 1: look at last week, we see this asshole mayor who
- 11:47Speaker 1: I will tell you right now, I do not believe
- 11:49Speaker 1: he won the race for mayor. I do believe that
- 11:52Speaker 1: there were a lot of people who lied. I believe
- 11:55Speaker 1: there were a lot of people who voted who shouldn't
- 11:57Speaker 1: have voted. They had people coming out of the voting
- 12:00Speaker 1: boosts the day of the election saying I voted seven
- 12:03Speaker 1: times today. You know, these are just stupid people that
- 12:06Speaker 1: can get away with anything because it's New York and
- 12:08Speaker 1: it's a hot mess. And if you've been in New
- 12:10Speaker 1: York lately, you have seen how dirty, how unkept, the trash,
- 12:16Speaker 1: the homelessness, the open air drug use. It is disgusting.
- 12:22Speaker 1: The idea that Holkl and Mom Donnie think for one
- 12:25Speaker 1: second people are going to stay. They have lost their mind.
- 12:29Speaker 1: And now through certain parts of New York you are
- 12:33Speaker 1: hearing the call to prayer five times a day, just
- 12:36Speaker 1: like they do in Minnesota, just like they do in Michigan,
- 12:39Speaker 1: and now just like they're doing in New York. And
- 12:42Speaker 1: I'm curious if you think for one second if that
- 12:46Speaker 1: was a Hasidic group that said, yes, we want to
- 12:50Speaker 1: have prayer in the middle of Times Square. We have
- 12:53Speaker 1: elected a Jewish mayor, and now we will have Sabbath.
- 12:57Speaker 1: So yes, the mayor's office will be closed most you know,
- 13:00Speaker 1: Friday sundown to Saturday sundown. I mean, it would be
- 13:04Speaker 1: the talk of the time. Be like, listen, separation of
- 13:07Speaker 1: church and state exists for a reason, common sense. But
- 13:11Speaker 1: common sense goes out the window because now common sense
- 13:14Speaker 1: is competing with Islamophobia. So now if you say to somebody, oh,
- 13:20Speaker 1: I would really appreciate it if we didn't sit on
- 13:23Speaker 1: the floor and Gracie mansion and eat with our hands,
- 13:26Speaker 1: because that's not what we do in America. In America,
- 13:29Speaker 1: we sit at tables in chairs, and we use a
- 13:32Speaker 1: fork and a knife, and that is how we proceed
- 13:34Speaker 1: with our meals. But because our mayor is you gond
- 13:37Speaker 1: In and god knows what else, they're saying, Oh no,
- 13:40Speaker 1: this is okay, We're going to celebrate this. How about
- 13:42Speaker 1: you celebrate this in your own private residence. Gracy Mansion
- 13:45Speaker 1: is the police for you to live while you're mayor,
- 13:47Speaker 1: but it has nothing to do with you actually having
- 13:50Speaker 1: meals on the floor of Gracie Mansion. That is taking
- 13:54Speaker 1: a place that serves the people of New York. And
- 13:56Speaker 1: the people of New York are many, many different things.
- 13:58Speaker 1: They're Christians, they're Jewish, they're Orthodox Jewish. We have Orthodox Greeks,
- 14:04Speaker 1: we have Roman Orthodox, we have Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs. It's
- 14:10Speaker 1: absurd that this is what we are turning Gracie Mansion into.
- 14:14Speaker 1: And the reason that it is happening was Zohramndani is
- 14:19Speaker 1: because of the fact that people are afraid to say,
- 14:22Speaker 1: excuse me, this is a Judeo Christian nation. We are
- 14:26Speaker 1: founded and rooted in those principles. If you would like
- 14:30Speaker 1: to do your call to prayer, if you would like
- 14:32Speaker 1: to get out your prayer rug and lay down on
- 14:34Speaker 1: the ground, if you would like to eat with your hands,
- 14:37Speaker 1: you can do that in a mosque or in the
- 14:39Speaker 1: privacy of your home. I would not expect, even though
- 14:44Speaker 1: we are a Judeo Christian nation, to hear church bells
- 14:47Speaker 1: all throughout the city all day long. I wouldn't because
- 14:52Speaker 1: New York is a melting pot. But unfortunately, common sense
- 14:57Speaker 1: has gone out the window. And now in addition to that,
- 15:00Speaker 1: they've raised the taxes, and they're raising taxes in almost
- 15:04Speaker 1: every blue state across the country. Well why is that, Well,
- 15:07Speaker 1: that's because they've decided that their common sense is less
- 15:10Speaker 1: valuable than what the cost is for all the programs
- 15:13Speaker 1: that they want to do. So as they begin to
- 15:17Speaker 1: realize that they can't afford to do what they said
- 15:21Speaker 1: they were going to do, they're like, Okay, well, we're
- 15:23Speaker 1: just going to keep taxing people. We're going to tax
- 15:24Speaker 1: them so much. Guess what's going to happen. They're going
- 15:27Speaker 1: to go to another state. So now you are seeing
- 15:30Speaker 1: a mass exodus of very wealthy business people, very wealthy
- 15:35Speaker 1: people who have maybe inherited things, and they're all leaving
- 15:40Speaker 1: and they're going to red states so that they can
- 15:43Speaker 1: live a life where they can honestly be able to
- 15:47Speaker 1: enjoy the money that they've worked so hard for common sense.
- 15:52Speaker 1: So now what happens when all that money leaves the
- 15:55Speaker 1: budgets of these blue states and all they're left with
- 15:59Speaker 1: a backheads illegal immigrants and people who are living off
- 16:04Speaker 1: of the system and have been living off of the
- 16:06Speaker 1: system for their entire lives. Why is that? Why would
- 16:11Speaker 1: they want to do that? Does it make any sense? No,
- 16:15Speaker 1: it's so that they can say it out loud, so
- 16:17Speaker 1: they can say that they're doing something we believe in. DEI.
- 16:21Speaker 1: What is DEI? I know what it is. It's called racism.
- 16:26Speaker 1: It's hiring someone based on the way that they look.
- 16:30Speaker 1: It's not a meritocracy. It's not saying this is the
- 16:34Speaker 1: best person for the job. And it's also not judging
- 16:37Speaker 1: somebody when they've done something wrong. This whole idea that
- 16:42Speaker 1: we have cashless bail, or this whole idea that we
- 16:45Speaker 1: are saying to people, well, we know that you went
- 16:48Speaker 1: into a Texas school with a machine gun, but we're
- 16:53Speaker 1: going to let you out within twenty four hours. I'm sorry,
- 16:58Speaker 1: why are we doing that. We have a female judge
- 17:02Speaker 1: who lets out this person in a Texas school and says, no,
- 17:07Speaker 1: I don't think we need to do that. That doesn't
- 17:08Speaker 1: make any sense. So we're just gonna let that person
- 17:12Speaker 1: out and yeah, sorry, not sorry. So now if your
- 17:16Speaker 1: child goes to that school, how are you feeling right now?
- 17:19Speaker 1: Do you think that that they're safe? Do you think
- 17:21Speaker 1: this is a good idea? And not to mention the
- 17:24Speaker 1: fact it was only on March first that we had
- 17:27Speaker 1: a mass shooter in Austin, Texas who was from Senegal.
- 17:32Speaker 1: He was a West African migrant who shot everybody up,
- 17:36Speaker 1: screaming that he was property of Allah and screaming a
- 17:38Speaker 1: Lahu akbar. And now here we are, we're like, it's
- 17:43Speaker 1: not even a month, it's like two and a half weeks,
- 17:46Speaker 1: and it's like, oh okay, So now we have this
- 17:48Speaker 1: guy walking into a Texas school and we have a
- 17:51Speaker 1: judge releasing him in under twenty four hours. Do we
- 17:54Speaker 1: not care about the children? Do we not care about
- 17:57Speaker 1: what's really happening? Where is the common sense? If that
- 18:01Speaker 1: was your child, if that was your child's school, wouldn't
- 18:05Speaker 1: you want it to be handled differently? This is the
- 18:08Speaker 1: stuff that I don't understand. If you look at the
- 18:11Speaker 1: attacks that happen, like I said a few podcasts ago,
- 18:14Speaker 1: you're looking at all of these people that are committing
- 18:17Speaker 1: these crimes, they are not white people. They are illegal immigrants.
- 18:22Speaker 1: They're naturalized citizens because they came in under Biden, and
- 18:25Speaker 1: they let it go. It doesn't make any sense. I
- 18:30Speaker 1: do not understand why on earth you would let this personnel.
- 18:35Speaker 1: And just as a point of note, the guy who
- 18:39Speaker 1: came to Zwink Elementary and climb Texas with a gun,
- 18:43Speaker 1: he was an Iraqi national. The judge is a person
- 18:48Speaker 1: of color. I have no idea what she is. She
- 18:50Speaker 1: lets him go free. So now a guy who went
- 18:53Speaker 1: to an elementary school with a gun posted seventy five
- 18:57Speaker 1: thousand dollars to get out, is now on the street.
- 19:00Speaker 1: Why why do you want to do this? No common sense?
- 19:08Speaker 1: The stories like this go on and on and on,
- 19:12Speaker 1: and at some point you have to say enough. Another
- 19:16Speaker 1: common sense moment. We look at Lisa Murkowski. She's a
- 19:20Speaker 1: senator from Alaska. She consistently votes with Democrats. Common sense
- 19:25Speaker 1: would tell me that she is a Democrat, which is fine,
- 19:31Speaker 1: Go be a Democrat. Stop running as a Republican. What
- 19:35Speaker 1: are we doing? And then you have people who are
- 19:40Speaker 1: coming out talking about climate change. Have you not realized
- 19:43Speaker 1: that climate change is the biggest hoax in the world.
- 19:47Speaker 1: Do you not understand that there is no science that
- 19:50Speaker 1: backs this. Don't you get The reason why they changed
- 19:54Speaker 1: the phrase from global warming to climate change was because
- 19:58Speaker 1: global warming no no longer fit what was actually happening.
- 20:02Speaker 1: It no longer made sense. Nothing on the agenda was
- 20:05Speaker 1: fitting with global warming, sure as hell was fitting with
- 20:08Speaker 1: climate change though, right because the weather was changing. Common sense.
- 20:14Speaker 1: I could go on and on about these issues. Every
- 20:19Speaker 1: single day we see things happening and we have a choice.
- 20:23Speaker 1: We have a choice to make a common sense decision.
- 20:26Speaker 1: And say, I don't think that we should give a
- 20:29Speaker 1: nine year old the choice of taking transgender medicine, doping
- 20:35Speaker 1: their minds up with ssriyes, and then potentially having life
- 20:39Speaker 1: altering surgeries before the age of ten. Call me crazy,
- 20:44Speaker 1: common sense. I have a ten year old from day
- 20:47Speaker 1: to day he's not sure how he feels about chicken nuggets.
- 20:50Speaker 1: Now you're going to tell me he has a right
- 20:52Speaker 1: to make a decision that he will never be able
- 20:54Speaker 1: to undo for the rest of his life. You're an asshole,
- 20:57Speaker 1: You're a liar. No common sense, And when we have
- 21:02Speaker 1: one hundred senators and only a handful of them have
- 21:06Speaker 1: the gumption to get up there and actually defend a
- 21:09Speaker 1: bill that says American citizens should vote in American elections.
- 21:13Speaker 1: And that's it. And this is a difficult concept that
- 21:16Speaker 1: we have to debate for days and days and days
- 21:19Speaker 1: on end, and then they're worried because, now, guess what
- 21:23Speaker 1: tomorrow is. It's Friday. That's typically the travel day for
- 21:27Speaker 1: our less than eager senators who like to take long weekends,
- 21:30Speaker 1: because you know, they travel on a Friday, they travel
- 21:32Speaker 1: on a Monday, They're back home Saturday, Sunday. They only
- 21:35Speaker 1: work Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. They'll tell you that they're
- 21:39Speaker 1: back in their home districts doing work. But I would
- 21:42Speaker 1: be hard pressed to see any of them doing much
- 21:44Speaker 1: of anything unless they're campaigning to get back in office.
- 21:46Speaker 1: Then they're everywhere. They're kissing babies and eating eggs at
- 21:49Speaker 1: diners and all the other bullshit they do. But the
- 21:52Speaker 1: common sense idea that you would continue to work through
- 21:56Speaker 1: the current bill that you're trying to pass, or that
- 21:59Speaker 1: you're trying to you would have to work through the weekend.
- 22:02Speaker 1: How many American people have to work the weekend. How
- 22:05Speaker 1: many times have you gotten called in on a weekend.
- 22:08Speaker 1: How many times have you had to stay late at
- 22:10Speaker 1: the office or at your job, whatever it is, many
- 22:13Speaker 1: many times? How many times have you worked double shifts?
- 22:17Speaker 1: These people it's been so long since they've had to work,
- 22:21Speaker 1: they don't even know the half of it. That's why
- 22:23Speaker 1: they don't understand why we're so pissed off. That's why
- 22:26Speaker 1: they don't understand how we're really feeling. And while we're upset,
- 22:31Speaker 1: and while we're you know, freaking out about what's happening,
- 22:35Speaker 1: and that we have to use our license to go
- 22:39Speaker 1: and vote and prove that we're an American citizen. Just
- 22:42Speaker 1: remember that the IRGC today executed a nineteen year old
- 22:48Speaker 1: championship wrestler because he was one of the people that
- 22:52Speaker 1: stood up and protested against the clerics and the regime.
- 22:56Speaker 1: You think you got it tough here, I'll tell you what.
- 22:59Speaker 1: You better use your common sense and be grateful for
- 23:01Speaker 1: the nation that you have and defend it. Because you
- 23:04Speaker 1: have no idea what it is you've lost until you've
- 23:06Speaker 1: lost it. Don't be that person. Have common sense, and
- 23:09Speaker 1: if you do have it, remind everybody around you a
- 23:12Speaker 1: little bit of what it is. Because I'll tell you
- 23:15Speaker 1: what my husband sent me a video last night. It
- 23:17Speaker 1: was a Big Wheels commercial from back in the day,
- 23:20Speaker 1: and I watched it and I thought, my god, I
- 23:24Speaker 1: wish that I was in that commercial right now. Those
- 23:27Speaker 1: kids look so genuinely happy. No computers, no phones, no tablets,
- 23:31Speaker 1: no social media, no digital you know, branding for the
- 23:36Speaker 1: rest of your life, because you know, the internet does
- 23:38Speaker 1: not forget these kids. Everything they're doing, everybody's going to
- 23:43Speaker 1: know about it forever. I feel so grateful that I
- 23:45Speaker 1: don't have that, and I'm so sad for my kids
- 23:48Speaker 1: that they're going to all have that and be like, oh,
- 23:50Speaker 1: I can't believe I posted that. Oh I can't believe
- 23:52Speaker 1: I wore that. At least we could look at them
- 23:54Speaker 1: in pictures and then close the album and put it away.
- 23:57Speaker 1: It's just a sad state of affairs because we've lost
- 23:59Speaker 1: all of our common sense. And that is the theme
- 24:01Speaker 1: of today's show. I hope you guys are doing good.
- 24:04Speaker 1: Praying for our troops, Praying for everybody to return safely home,
- 24:08Speaker 1: Praying for this poor family that lost their son in
- 24:10Speaker 1: Barcelona and they found him in the water today. I
- 24:13Speaker 1: can't even imagine. This family has to be just completely
- 24:17Speaker 1: torn up. I'll have them in my prayer tonight. I
- 24:19Speaker 1: hope you do too. Please follow us online at Lindamick
- 24:23Speaker 1: at Rogue Recap rogue recap dot com. We will see
- 24:27Speaker 1: you guys tomorrow. Good Night, everybody,
