- 0:19Speaker 2: Yet, boy, good morning friends. Sunshine jamis Yes, it's nice,
- 0:23Speaker 2: a little bit hazy, a little.
- 0:25Speaker 3: Bit it's crazy hazy. Yeah.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Well there's a I guess, a lunch of wildfires in
- 0:30Speaker 2: Canada and the Pacific Northwest and kind of kind of
- 0:35Speaker 2: keeping us a little cooler this morning. Uh huh, seems
- 0:38Speaker 2: real nice. It's been beautiful on the lot. That kind
- 0:41Speaker 2: of light is perfect for the new cars. It's it's
- 0:45Speaker 2: just ideal, makes mappetizing. Uh huh. Anyway, we're so glad
- 0:52Speaker 2: you guys are with us today. It's almost the end
- 0:54Speaker 2: of the July, getting ready for back to school and
- 0:57Speaker 2: it's the forty third annual Green Country Road starting tonight.
- 1:01Speaker 2: All kinds of stuff going on. One of my favorite
- 1:04Speaker 2: events is this, uh is tonight with the giddy performance
- 1:10Speaker 2: and all the kids get in free with the with
- 1:13Speaker 2: the mutton busting and uh it's it's quite an event.
- 1:17Speaker 2: If you haven't ever seen one of those, you could
- 1:19Speaker 2: go watch the kids.
- 1:20Speaker 3: Try to do their thing.
- 1:26Speaker 2: I had lots of other great events going on in
- 1:29Speaker 2: Bartlesville this time.
- 1:30Speaker 3: Of year, we've been really busy. Out of the.
- 1:31Speaker 1: Dealers has been it's the summer rush, I guess, just
- 1:37Speaker 1: in waves.
- 1:38Speaker 2: You know, sometimes it seems like everybody's out of town
- 1:40Speaker 2: and it's kind of slow, and then they all they
- 1:43Speaker 2: all show up, uh, ready to buy cars and trucks,
- 1:48Speaker 2: and a lot of a lot of focus on making
- 1:50Speaker 2: that such an efficient process buying the car, making it
- 1:54Speaker 2: smooth and easy.
- 1:55Speaker 3: If you can, if.
- 1:56Speaker 2: You can schedule that time, we can really get you
- 1:59Speaker 2: in and out right. I know people time in the
- 2:01Speaker 2: summer is what they value the most. Everybody didn't want
- 2:04Speaker 2: to waste their time shopping and dickering over a car purchase,
- 2:08Speaker 2: so we make it easy with simple prices and our
- 2:11Speaker 2: great service. Our people are really what I think should
- 2:14Speaker 2: separate us from everybody.
- 2:16Speaker 3: It is a good.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Group of salespeople, non commissioned, salaried.
- 2:22Speaker 3: We really care.
- 2:23Speaker 2: About their customers and are looking to help you buy
- 2:26Speaker 2: a car rather than sell you something. It's really our
- 2:30Speaker 2: approach and anyway, they're great to work with and I'm
- 2:36Speaker 2: happy to be back from vacation. That was good. Thank
- 2:38Speaker 2: you for stepping in last week.
- 2:39Speaker 3: You're very welcome.
- 2:40Speaker 1: That was a lot of fun and I hope you
- 2:43Speaker 1: got some biking in.
- 2:45Speaker 3: I did.
- 2:45Speaker 2: I rode my bike every day up in the mountains.
- 2:48Speaker 2: It's some mountain biking. It wore myself out, didn't get injured,
- 2:51Speaker 2: so that's too good. You know something at our age,
- 2:54Speaker 2: wearing yourself out is great.
- 2:55Speaker 3: Getting injured great. There's always that cop yet, baby, whether
- 3:02Speaker 3: it's beautiful.
- 3:03Speaker 2: I've been talking to a lot of our customers that
- 3:05Speaker 2: they've been coming back from trips all over the place,
- 3:08Speaker 2: and but getting out to the mountains and cooling off
- 3:12Speaker 2: was a lot of fun. And when I got back
- 3:15Speaker 2: on it, we had super duties on the lot, a
- 3:17Speaker 2: couple of Broncos, Broncos Sports.
- 3:20Speaker 3: The Broncos are are amazing.
- 3:22Speaker 2: Bread.
- 3:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:23Speaker 2: No, there's a Bronco Raptor we have in stock right now.
- 3:26Speaker 2: People need to come check that out.
- 3:28Speaker 3: It is. It is a full.
- 3:30Speaker 2: Onloaded Bronco Raptor, nearly one hundred thousand dollars rap.
- 3:34Speaker 3: It is a very it has every bill, every whistle.
- 3:41Speaker 2: We've got a great special on a Tundra demo. But
- 3:46Speaker 2: that I've been driving. It's a wonderful platinum silver loaded vehicle.
- 3:52Speaker 2: It is sharp. Got a discount. Uh, you won't believe
- 3:55Speaker 2: on that vehicle. It's only got about three thousand miles
- 3:58Speaker 2: on it. It's rand.
- 3:59Speaker 1: It's still a new considered a new vehicle comes with
- 4:03Speaker 1: Toyota's twenty four month Protection Plan.
- 4:08Speaker 2: YEP with maintenance and free maintenance will changes entire rotations
- 4:12Speaker 2: for the first couple of years. And then it also
- 4:15Speaker 2: has our h one of our great products, which is
- 4:19Speaker 2: the Zurich Shield Elite Plus with advanced ceramic technology that
- 4:22Speaker 2: comes with every new vehicle you purchased a dungees.
- 4:26Speaker 3: I like the Zurich.
- 4:27Speaker 1: The Zurich Shield would would have helped when I had
- 4:32Speaker 1: a younger person in my car.
- 4:36Speaker 3: Would anywhere the spills. The spills have decreased.
- 4:43Speaker 1: But yeah, if you've got pets, if you've got children, UH,
- 4:49Speaker 1: if you just kind of live in your car, the
- 4:51Speaker 1: Zurich Shield will protect uh.
- 4:53Speaker 2: An interior and exterior protection that allows to keep the
- 4:56Speaker 2: paint and fabric of your vehicle, the carpet, every thing clean.
- 5:01Speaker 2: It's really easy to clean up when you get something
- 5:03Speaker 2: on there, and it's guaranteed. So if it staying does
- 5:07Speaker 2: penetrated it, they replace it.
- 5:10Speaker 3: So it's really great stuff.
- 5:12Speaker 2: Do we have someone calling in today.
- 5:13Speaker 3: Well we do.
- 5:15Speaker 1: You know, bred there's a young comedian here in town.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Well he's in Tulsa, but I believe he's originally from here,
- 5:24Speaker 1: Adam Bush. He's going to be performing this weekend over
- 5:29Speaker 1: at the Palace Rooms.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Nineteen oh eight, I think is what they're calling this
- 5:36Speaker 2: little offshoot special dinner club for the at the Palace Room.
- 5:41Speaker 2: So it's my friend Adrian Kawhite and her husband have
- 5:43Speaker 2: opened in Barrowsville a.
- 5:45Speaker 3: Couple of years ago. Now at the day, it's a
- 5:47Speaker 3: great place to go.
- 5:48Speaker 2: I love it, haven't And this is a you know,
- 5:52Speaker 2: they're putting on some special events with a great chef
- 5:55Speaker 2: and a comedian now coming for Saturday night.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Over there is fantastic great it's great pizza oven. But yeah,
- 6:04Speaker 1: Adam are you are you on the line.
- 6:07Speaker 4: I'm here, I'm here. Good morning, guys. How's it going.
- 6:10Speaker 3: It's going good?
- 6:11Speaker 4: Thank you awesome, Thanks for having me. I appreciate it.
- 6:15Speaker 2: Well, it's great to have you on here. We don't
- 6:17Speaker 2: often have live comedians in Bartlesville, I know, uh we
- 6:21Speaker 2: Maria Gus has probably qualified. She's done a lot of
- 6:27Speaker 2: stand up before and used to travel a little bit.
- 6:29Speaker 2: But I know, uh, you're you're quite a comedian and
- 6:34Speaker 2: showing her in Bartlesville Saturday night.
- 6:38Speaker 4: That's right, we gotta we got a hot show happening
- 6:40Speaker 4: on Saturday night. And eight I've seen the place. I've
- 6:43Speaker 4: never been there before, but I'm excited. It's gonna be
- 6:46Speaker 4: an awesome, uh awesome show, I think awesome.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Well, tell me a little bit about yourself. Where where
- 6:54Speaker 2: are you from and how did you end up in
- 6:56Speaker 2: the comedy business.
- 6:58Speaker 4: Yeah, so I loving pulsed up about twenty five years now.
- 7:00Speaker 4: My family is originally from from this area, and so
- 7:04Speaker 4: when I was in high school, uh, my parents moved
- 7:07Speaker 4: their family back here, and uh, you know, since then,
- 7:10Speaker 4: I've met my wife, We've had a couple of had
- 7:13Speaker 4: a couple of kids, and so we live. We live
- 7:15Speaker 4: here in midterms Tulsa. So I never want to lead Tulsa.
- 7:19Speaker 4: I loved Tulsa. It's a great place to raise kids.
- 7:22Speaker 4: I've been up to Bartlesville. I want to show up
- 7:23Speaker 4: there for pous rooms before this whole area. I'm just
- 7:26Speaker 4: such a big fan of and being a comedian. Not
- 7:29Speaker 4: a lot of people realize this. I didn't realize this
- 7:31Speaker 4: until I started traveling, But being in kind of the
- 7:34Speaker 4: center of the country is really helpful because if you're
- 7:37Speaker 4: on one of the coasts, it can just be pretty
- 7:41Speaker 4: difficult and make for a long travel day and you know,
- 7:44Speaker 4: kind of expand the weekend. And so I love Oklahoma.
- 7:48Speaker 4: I'm just such a big fan.
- 7:49Speaker 2: Great and you travel a rot and move around the country,
- 7:54Speaker 2: have shows all over right here.
- 7:56Speaker 4: Oh yeah, Well, so I'm currently uh on tour with
- 8:00Speaker 4: the comedian named Preacher Lawton. He uh was on America's
- 8:05Speaker 4: Got Talent and uh he's pretty a pretty big deal
- 8:09Speaker 4: and so uh yeah, so I tour with him right now.
- 8:12Speaker 4: We just we did Vegas last weekend. We were at
- 8:14Speaker 4: Jimmy Kimble's comedy club. Uh. Next weekend we're down in Albuquerque.
- 8:18Speaker 4: Weekend after that, we do Zamey's in Nashville. I mean
- 8:21Speaker 4: we got we're Yeah. He stays busy. I stay busy,
- 8:25Speaker 4: so awesome and keep his show because it's feeding my family.
- 8:30Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, I'm really interested in how you you know,
- 8:33Speaker 2: come up with your stuff that the uh what's it
- 8:36Speaker 2: seems like a lot of family oriented comedy.
- 8:39Speaker 3: What is your inspiration.
- 8:42Speaker 4: Yeah, my inforantion, Yeah I do. I do a lot
- 8:45Speaker 4: of stuff about my family. I got two small kids
- 8:47Speaker 4: and I'm forty two, so that, you know, creates quite
- 8:49Speaker 4: the u unique dynamic in our house. I think I'm
- 8:54Speaker 4: probably a storyteller first and uh, you know, a jokes
- 8:58Speaker 4: the second. I I love I've always loved telling stories
- 9:01Speaker 4: that My dad was a pretty great storyteller and sort
- 9:05Speaker 4: of taught me that just you know, by proximity. And
- 9:08Speaker 4: so I when I first started like even enjoying comedy,
- 9:12Speaker 4: before I became a comedian, I was fans of Micha Bigley.
- 9:16Speaker 4: I was probably the top guy because he's he's such
- 9:18Speaker 4: a storyteller. I'm a big fan of John Mlaney. He's
- 9:22Speaker 4: a big storyteller. So may bergotzi like and and I
- 9:26Speaker 4: lean on the cleaner side, so you know, like may Bergotti,
- 9:29Speaker 4: I fits really well. But honestly, everything I probably talked
- 9:35Speaker 4: about in my set is something that has happened to
- 9:37Speaker 4: me or an experience I've had. It starts there, and
- 9:41Speaker 4: I feel like I heard may Bergotti say one time,
- 9:44Speaker 4: if you're not saying something funny, say something interesting. And
- 9:47Speaker 4: I lean. I tend to lean on I don't know,
- 9:52Speaker 4: things that happened around me. I tend to gravitate towards
- 9:54Speaker 4: and pick up on pretty easily and then find the
- 9:58Speaker 4: humor you know that that way? So yeah, I think
- 10:02Speaker 4: I think that's kind of that's what everything comes out
- 10:04Speaker 4: of in my set.
- 10:06Speaker 2: And do you do you write it and and actually,
- 10:09Speaker 2: you know, keep it and and work on it that way?
- 10:12Speaker 2: Or do you write is it more of an ad
- 10:14Speaker 2: lib and something that just kind of grows out of
- 10:16Speaker 2: your your your head.
- 10:19Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm a pretty big I'm a pretty big pen
- 10:21Speaker 4: to paper guy. Everybody does it differently. And you know
- 10:25Speaker 4: their comics that are you were successful and they don't write,
- 10:30Speaker 4: you know, down there all they work it out all
- 10:32Speaker 4: on stage. I've never been I've never really leaned that way.
- 10:37Speaker 4: I was a writer before I was a comedian. I
- 10:40Speaker 4: worked at it ald On have to call one second.
- 10:46Speaker 3: We got you there, We got you sorry about that man.
- 10:51Speaker 4: Before before I was a comedian, I was a writer.
- 10:54Speaker 4: I worked at a church and I just that's just
- 10:57Speaker 4: kind of how I fell into the whole thing. And
- 10:59Speaker 4: so I write every single day and this morning, whatever
- 11:04Speaker 4: I finish with this interview. I'll just sit down at
- 11:07Speaker 4: a local cafe. I will sit down on my computer
- 11:10Speaker 4: and I will write for about an hour or an
- 11:13Speaker 4: hour and a half. I'll I performed last night, so
- 11:15Speaker 4: I'll go through that set and I'll make tweets. I
- 11:18Speaker 4: had a couple of jokes on the fly. I'll put
- 11:20Speaker 4: those in and I have if you saw my Google doc,
- 11:24Speaker 4: it's about one hundred pages long, but mostly jokes that
- 11:28Speaker 4: did not end up working. But I got about I
- 11:32Speaker 4: got about fifteen pages of current stuff that work right now.
- 11:35Speaker 4: So yeah, I write verbatim.
- 11:38Speaker 2: That's really fascinating. That's good to hear that process.
- 11:42Speaker 1: And yeah, so you have a show this Saturday night
- 11:46Speaker 1: at the Palace Rooms. I think the way to get
- 11:48Speaker 1: tickets is to go to Palace Rooms dot com.
- 11:54Speaker 2: I died a fre many left. I know it's a
- 11:56Speaker 2: small space and there is dinner required. And if you
- 12:00Speaker 2: but it's a great time sells, I'm sure there will
- 12:04Speaker 2: be a lot of Uh, it would be a full
- 12:07Speaker 2: house down there, and uh really excited to learn more
- 12:12Speaker 2: about your comedy, Adam. It sounds like a great show.
- 12:15Speaker 4: Well, yeah, I'm gonna I gotta I got a couple
- 12:18Speaker 4: of guys coming with me, so they're gonna open up
- 12:20Speaker 4: the things. So we got us a full on show,
- 12:22Speaker 4: and we're just want to make sure that people have
- 12:25Speaker 4: a great time and know this sort of event. Look,
- 12:27Speaker 4: I got kids, if you got kids, there is more
- 12:30Speaker 4: more than just the tickets and the dinner. You got
- 12:31Speaker 4: a babysitter, you got to play in and it's a
- 12:34Speaker 4: lot of doing and I respect that and so I
- 12:37Speaker 4: I'm gonna make sure that it's worth everybody's time that
- 12:40Speaker 4: we have a lot of fun.
- 12:44Speaker 3: Well, Adam, thank you for joining us today.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Yeah, we're we're really excited you're coming to Bartlesville. You know,
- 12:51Speaker 1: this is a good example of how Bartlesville really has everything.
- 12:56Speaker 2: It's it's it's one of those things that you know
- 12:59Speaker 2: it is all place, but we do have everything, and
- 13:02Speaker 2: we're glad to have you coming to town, Adam. So
- 13:05Speaker 2: we'll see you Saturday night and you can get your
- 13:08Speaker 2: tickets folks at the Palace.
- 13:10Speaker 3: Rooms dot com and there's.
- 13:12Speaker 2: Lots more information there about timing. I believe it starts
- 13:15Speaker 2: at six pm on Saturday night and there's other events
- 13:19Speaker 2: all through the next few weeks.
- 13:21Speaker 3: Bill Palace Room so chock of Adam Bush.
- 13:25Speaker 1: Look him up on the internets and put that guy out.
- 13:30Speaker 3: He is.
- 13:32Speaker 1: So we've got a ton of stuff going on at
- 13:35Speaker 1: Dungeons Forward and Dungeons to Go.
- 13:38Speaker 3: We've got a cookout today. Cook out today.
- 13:41Speaker 2: We're having a lunch for the employees and get everybody
- 13:44Speaker 2: together and break a little bread.
- 13:46Speaker 3: And we've got a bunch of other stuff.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Planned for the end of the month. We've got great
- 13:51Speaker 2: incentives on Toyotas and Fords. Our inventory is is moving
- 13:56Speaker 2: really quick. We've got a great used car vehicle inventory
- 13:59Speaker 2: right now, vehicles under fifteen thousand dollars, a whole bunch
- 14:03Speaker 2: of those, and things like a used Ford explore st
- 14:08Speaker 2: really nice vehicle, like new black with black wheels, beautiful vehicle.
- 14:15Speaker 2: We got land cruisers coming. We should have our next
- 14:19Speaker 2: land cruisers on the ground hopefully in the first couple
- 14:23Speaker 2: of days of August, so just around the corner here,
- 14:26Speaker 2: and we have two that should be here around that time.
- 14:29Speaker 1: The land cruisers are really fantastic here. They are not
- 14:35Speaker 1: the same as the old FJ it's all the.
- 14:40Speaker 3: Old land cruiser.
- 14:41Speaker 2: A lot of people are really surprised by the new
- 14:46Speaker 2: iteration of the land cruiser. It does go back to
- 14:49Speaker 2: the tradition more of a of a retro retro retro
- 14:53Speaker 2: to the original land Cruisers. And it's you know, it's
- 14:57Speaker 2: still a great off road vehicle, all the off road
- 15:01Speaker 2: props you could ever need, and great uh technology in
- 15:05Speaker 2: the vehicle like with all Toyotas.
- 15:07Speaker 3: And we got.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Our first Crown Signia the allocated to reasons I say
- 15:12Speaker 2: that now that that will be if people haven't heard,
- 15:15Speaker 2: you know, the Crown is our our new top of
- 15:17Speaker 2: the line h Sedan and the Crown Signia will be
- 15:22Speaker 2: essentially a top of the line small s u B.
- 15:24Speaker 1: Well, it's it's it's kind of the the new Venza,
- 15:32Speaker 1: the high end Venza.
- 15:34Speaker 2: They still make Venza, but but I think I think
- 15:38Speaker 2: they're going to probably that may go away with signif
- 15:41Speaker 2: Venzic Gozoway and there's a lot of other great stuff coming.
- 15:46Speaker 2: I mentioned super Duty. We're starting to get a better
- 15:48Speaker 2: stock of those, which is great as we move into
- 15:51Speaker 2: the second half of the year and got two available
- 15:54Speaker 2: on the ground, nice Lariat Diesel super duties.
- 15:57Speaker 1: Uh, it is, it is amazing. How Ford, you know,
- 16:02Speaker 1: there was a kind of gap where we were having
- 16:04Speaker 1: trouble getting super Duties.
- 16:06Speaker 3: And I bother one of our best selling vehicles.
- 16:08Speaker 2: It has been for many, many years, and they just
- 16:11Speaker 2: can't haven't been able to build enough over the last
- 16:14Speaker 2: few years. I know, Ford announced this week that they're
- 16:16Speaker 2: going to take a build to put in another super
- 16:19Speaker 2: duty a line, the new line, and build about it
- 16:23Speaker 2: twice as many super Duties over the next few years.
- 16:25Speaker 3: So that'll be really good news for us and for
- 16:28Speaker 3: our customers.
- 16:29Speaker 2: And you know, I mentioned the Bronco, but there's also
- 16:33Speaker 2: a Bronco Sport in stock and available. This has been
- 16:36Speaker 2: a really popular vehicle for us. Those are kind of
- 16:38Speaker 2: flying off the shelves. I'm surprised we have one right now. Well,
- 16:41Speaker 2: they're really you know, sporty, they're comfortable size, they've got
- 16:48Speaker 2: a lot of the off road technology you get in
- 16:50Speaker 2: a full sized Bronco at about half the price. So
- 16:53Speaker 2: it's a really great value and it is a really
- 16:56Speaker 2: fun vehicle. People enjoy it a lot. I know I
- 17:00Speaker 2: mentioned some of our less expensive used cars. We've got
- 17:04Speaker 2: great vehicles like a Honda Insight, a twenty nineteen Honda Insight.
- 17:08Speaker 2: It's only nine eight hundred and fifty dollars some hundred
- 17:12Speaker 2: stot dollar dollars, another one under ten thousand dollars. We've
- 17:16Speaker 2: got a twenty fourteen Ford Escape sc under one hundred
- 17:20Speaker 2: thousand miles and that's only ninety nine to fifty.
- 17:23Speaker 1: I think it was a one owner. That's a pretty
- 17:26Speaker 1: very nice vehicle. We've got a.
- 17:29Speaker 2: Twenty eighteen Chevrolet Equinox that's eleven thousand and five hundred
- 17:34Speaker 2: and it's almost thirty seven hundred dollars below market average.
- 17:38Speaker 2: We've got a twenty seventeen Kia Forte that's eleven thousand
- 17:42Speaker 2: and nine to seventy five. Pretty little car, very very nice, blue,
- 17:48Speaker 2: beautiful vehicle, really in good shape. We've got a twenty
- 17:52Speaker 2: eighteen Ford Ecosport. This was actually my uncle Bob's vehicle.
- 17:56Speaker 2: Now he recently traded in on a Corolla Cross.
- 17:59Speaker 3: Will Well mean team, very well mean to my dealership.
- 18:03Speaker 2: Eighteen Ford Eco Sport with only forty seven thousand dollars,
- 18:08Speaker 2: really great value at I've.
- 18:10Speaker 3: Proven one of those and I had a lot of
- 18:11Speaker 3: fun with it. Twelve thousand.
- 18:13Speaker 2: Bob roy liked it and that sized vehicles really easy
- 18:16Speaker 2: for him to get in and out of. And you
- 18:19Speaker 2: know the Corolla Cross, that was his decision to go
- 18:23Speaker 2: with that because it's it's similarly sized. That's a new Corolla,
- 18:28Speaker 2: and people know of the Corolla is a small sedan
- 18:30Speaker 2: Toyota makes, but they also make a little crossover Corolla
- 18:35Speaker 2: that's got a little bit more of a hatchback, a
- 18:37Speaker 2: little bit a little mini suv yep, and so that's
- 18:42Speaker 2: similar to that. But it's only twelve eight hundred dollars.
- 18:45Speaker 2: That's a great value. So you know you mentioned market
- 18:53Speaker 2: under market price. How do you come up with prices? Bread, Well,
- 18:59Speaker 2: I do actually probably all the vehicles myself pretty much.
- 19:02Speaker 2: And you know it didn't last week while I was
- 19:04Speaker 2: out of town. But now it's easy. We have software
- 19:07Speaker 2: that where we go in and we can see all
- 19:09Speaker 2: the books. We look at things like car Gurus, car Facts,
- 19:15Speaker 2: you know, everything we can we look at what they
- 19:18Speaker 2: say the price of the vehicle should be.
- 19:20Speaker 3: We look at the market.
- 19:22Speaker 2: I can in our software, I can set up you know,
- 19:25Speaker 2: by trim level, different options, engines, packages, or just leave
- 19:29Speaker 2: it wide open. I can narrow it down by the
- 19:31Speaker 2: miles on the vehicle. I can also search by range
- 19:35Speaker 2: from the dealership, so I can say, well, within five
- 19:38Speaker 2: hundred miles, there's only twenty five of these vehicles, most
- 19:41Speaker 2: of them are higher priced than ours and have more miles,
- 19:46Speaker 2: so I'll price it.
- 19:47Speaker 1: So were able to see all of the used cars
- 19:49Speaker 1: in the area pretty much, you know, the used cars
- 19:53Speaker 1: that are.
- 19:54Speaker 2: I can also see the ones that have sold recently,
- 19:57Speaker 2: so I can kind of estimate and get engaged there
- 20:00Speaker 2: for what they're going for, because you know, at the
- 20:02Speaker 2: end of the day, you know, the books are just books.
- 20:06Speaker 2: The car is worth what somebody is willing to pay
- 20:08Speaker 2: for it, and you know, and we try to put
- 20:11Speaker 2: our price, our market based price. We call it right
- 20:13Speaker 2: on there from the beginning, you know, from day one
- 20:16Speaker 2: goes into stock and we price it to sell it
- 20:20Speaker 2: and try to make it easy on you so that
- 20:23Speaker 2: you know, there might not be as much room for
- 20:26Speaker 2: us to negotiate sometimes because we've already discounted it, but
- 20:29Speaker 2: we definitely kind makes it easy and quick.
- 20:32Speaker 3: To buy a car.
- 20:33Speaker 1: It is a little bit different from from the old
- 20:36Speaker 1: school of we'll price it four thousand dollars higher than
- 20:40Speaker 1: what we really are intending to sell it for, yep,
- 20:44Speaker 1: and negotiate with you.
- 20:45Speaker 2: And with our noncommission professional sales consultants that don't get
- 20:49Speaker 2: paid on how much profit we make when we sell
- 20:51Speaker 2: the car. They get paid on volume and the quality
- 20:55Speaker 2: of service they provide our customers, and so they really
- 20:59Speaker 2: are motivated just to take care of you and help
- 21:01Speaker 2: you buy the car.
- 21:01Speaker 1: That makes a lot more sense when you're buying a car,
- 21:05Speaker 1: and it takes the adversarial rule out of buying a
- 21:10Speaker 1: car from a dealership.
- 21:11Speaker 2: And you know, the process of buying a car is
- 21:13Speaker 2: changing so much through the last few years as customers
- 21:18Speaker 2: have gone more concomfortable with the technology in the cars
- 21:22Speaker 2: and on the and and that we use to sell
- 21:25Speaker 2: cars on our websites. We've got some great tools now
- 21:28Speaker 2: where people can go in use our market based price
- 21:31Speaker 2: and their actual credit and get you know, what they
- 21:35Speaker 2: call a soft pool on their credit, so that you
- 21:37Speaker 2: get it doesn't actually affect your credit, but it does
- 21:42Speaker 2: give you access to your information, so you can get
- 21:44Speaker 2: an actual credit payments call from a bank, an actual
- 21:49Speaker 2: approval right there online without any any stress. You can
- 21:53Speaker 2: get your trade praised, get so much done on the
- 21:56Speaker 2: car deal so that when you come in. As I
- 21:59Speaker 2: mentioned before, time is such an element in purchasing a
- 22:02Speaker 2: vehicle that we can shorten that process down to just
- 22:06Speaker 2: a few minutes. Really if we know that no, you
- 22:08Speaker 2: know what you want when you're coming and are ready
- 22:11Speaker 2: for you.
- 22:12Speaker 3: Three years ago mine was forty minutes. I can't imagine
- 22:14Speaker 3: how much faster it is now.
- 22:17Speaker 1: We're really shooting for under an hour on all of
- 22:19Speaker 1: our transactions. And uh uh, you know we're not trying
- 22:23Speaker 1: to rush people. If you're you can take as much time.
- 22:27Speaker 1: It's a big decision.
- 22:30Speaker 2: But actually, would I have to spend more time with
- 22:32Speaker 2: you with the vehicle after you purchase it? So, because
- 22:34Speaker 2: there's so much technology on these new vehicles now and
- 22:38Speaker 2: and you really need to set them up for you,
- 22:40Speaker 2: and you know, and that's what where we uh we
- 22:44Speaker 2: know we can make a real difference is really yeah,
- 22:47Speaker 2: I know it's it's it's so important because I mean
- 22:50Speaker 2: I just switched vehicles, and you know they're all a
- 22:52Speaker 2: little bit different.
- 22:53Speaker 3: And how do you get your phone? How do you
- 22:55Speaker 3: get your phone number? One question?
- 22:57Speaker 2: What is the you know, am I going to be
- 22:59Speaker 2: using my Android auto or or the Apple version of that?
- 23:04Speaker 2: And and you know there's all kinds of different things,
- 23:07Speaker 2: different ways you want to set it up, and so
- 23:09Speaker 2: you want to make those informed choices when you're getting
- 23:12Speaker 2: going on your new vehicle.
- 23:15Speaker 1: Well, you know it's gonna get really hot next week.
- 23:17Speaker 1: Ye it is it turning the turning the burners back on.
- 23:23Speaker 1: And I I ducked in last week and got a
- 23:29Speaker 1: little bit of a charge on my AC.
- 23:31Speaker 3: U at Dungeons Toyota.
- 23:35Speaker 1: If you've got any mechanical going on, or if your
- 23:39Speaker 1: AC isn't blowing really cold today, get it going, Yeah,
- 23:44Speaker 1: you probably should come see us at Dungeons Toyota or
- 23:47Speaker 1: Dungeons Forward. You can go to our websites and make
- 23:50Speaker 1: an appointment. It's very easy to schedule online. If you've
- 23:55Speaker 1: been in before, you just enter your phone number and
- 23:57Speaker 1: you can find your vehicle with that. If you haven't
- 24:00Speaker 1: been in before, just give a little information, we'll set
- 24:03Speaker 1: you up for an appointment and it's really simple. When
- 24:05Speaker 1: you get to the dealership, we write you up, We
- 24:08Speaker 1: do your service as quick as we can and get
- 24:10Speaker 1: you down on the road.
- 24:12Speaker 2: You know, well changes tire rotations are so critical this
- 24:16Speaker 2: time of year, and you know, I know Jason mentioned
- 24:19Speaker 2: the air conditioner. You know, things like batteries, AC's tires
- 24:23Speaker 2: are affected by the heat for sure, engine itself, So
- 24:27Speaker 2: you want to maintain your vehicle all right. With our
- 24:30Speaker 2: extreme weather and Oklahoma from the really low temperatures in
- 24:33Speaker 2: the winter to what we're going to be facing next week,
- 24:36Speaker 2: you know, it does stress the vehicle.
- 24:37Speaker 3: So maintenance is super important.
- 24:40Speaker 2: I know that it really can help maintain the value
- 24:44Speaker 2: of your vehicle too. We really, you know, to getting
- 24:48Speaker 2: the most out of your vehicle, it's keeping it maintained
- 24:51Speaker 2: and going. We see, these vehicles today can last hundreds
- 24:55Speaker 2: of thousands of miles if they're well maintained.
- 24:57Speaker 1: And you know, we really want want to sell you
- 25:00Speaker 1: a vehicle, but we also want to make sure that
- 25:04Speaker 1: you get the most mileage out of that vehicle, out
- 25:06Speaker 1: of the most life that you can out of that vehicle,
- 25:10Speaker 1: and maintenance is so critical to getting the most life
- 25:15Speaker 1: out of your vehicle. And then frankly, we want to
- 25:19Speaker 1: buy it back. We love, we love selling vehicles, and
- 25:23Speaker 1: then buying cars.
- 25:26Speaker 3: Is a good dungeous trade in. That's right.
- 25:30Speaker 2: So lots of other great stuff going on with the dealership.
- 25:33Speaker 2: If you want to come in and see us, we'll
- 25:35Speaker 2: be out there this afternoon. We'll be shutting down just
- 25:39Speaker 2: a right around noon for a brief period while we
- 25:41Speaker 2: bring the team together and living burgers. But if you
- 25:45Speaker 2: want to come out after that, check it out this afternoon, well,
- 25:49Speaker 2: our team will be out there and ready to help
- 25:52Speaker 2: you with anything you need as far as service or sales,
- 25:56Speaker 2: or just want to get a cookie or some popcorn,
- 25:59Speaker 2: come on out the dealership and sale out to us.
- 26:01Speaker 1: And it's it's an incredible number of people who just
- 26:04Speaker 1: stop by for a cookie.
- 26:05Speaker 3: I love that.
- 26:07Speaker 2: They're also they're also stopping by for lookie.
- 26:10Speaker 3: It's true.
- 26:12Speaker 2: We let we do bake cookies every morning, fresh cookies.
- 26:15Speaker 2: My uncle Joe takes care of that off and offering
- 26:18Speaker 2: them to the customers right off the hot hot grills.
- 26:22Speaker 3: O my goodness akes. So we.
- 26:28Speaker 1: You know, we really should mention that Ford, both Ford
- 26:32Speaker 1: and Toyota are doing some pretty amazing things in terms
- 26:35Speaker 1: of interest rates right now.
- 26:38Speaker 3: Getting creative, very creative.
- 26:40Speaker 1: New Fords, uh ninety days no payment, lots of offers
- 26:46Speaker 1: as low as zero percent exactly, some extended term offers
- 26:50Speaker 1: where you can get great payments, some great lease deals
- 26:53Speaker 1: on both sides.
- 26:54Speaker 2: Of Toyotas and Fords right now. Those payments can be
- 26:59Speaker 2: hundreds of dollars less than a comparable market purchase on
- 27:04Speaker 2: just a standard rate that you can get at a bank.
- 27:06Speaker 1: Well, I think right now we've got the Corolla Lee
- 27:10Speaker 1: as low as twenty nine a month lease payment. You're

- 27:18Speaker 1: hundred and twenty nine dollars a month any place ells.
- 27:23Speaker 3: Well, And so here we are again.
- 27:25Speaker 2: I want to mention it is the first night of
