  Speaker 1: in Psalms one, nineteen. We know that Psalms one nineteen.

  Speaker 1: It's the longest chapter in the Bible. Passionately written as
• 5:54
  Speaker 1: a love letter about God's word, the Psalms believe by

  Speaker 1: many to be David. It's undergoing trials, persecution, and moments
• 6:05
  Speaker 1: of discouragement. Despite it all, he clings to scripture, testifying
• 6:11
  Speaker 1: over and over that God's commandments sustain him and bring life, hope,
• 6:17
  Speaker 1: and direction. In Psalms one nineteen one oh five, it says,

  Speaker 1: your word is a lamp to my feet and a
• 6:25
  Speaker 1: light to my path. In times when darkness and uncertainty
• 6:29
  Speaker 1: threatens to overwhelm, the Psalms find clarity, comfort and courage
• 6:35
  Speaker 1: by trusting in God's unchanging truth. Y'all, where do we
• 6:38
  Speaker 1: get his unchanging truth. We got to go in that word, y'all.

  Speaker 1: We got to pick that Bible up, and we got
• 6:43
  Speaker 1: to allow those words to become life. Y'all. A lot
• 6:46
  Speaker 1: of us we read these words. We got a lot
• 6:48
  Speaker 1: of scripture in us. We can quote scripture all day,

  Speaker 1: and then when something hit us, it's like we forget
• 6:54
  Speaker 1: everything that we've been studying, everything that we've been quoting.

  Speaker 1: We just forget that. But y'all, we can't forget it.

  Speaker 1: his word is a lamp to my feet. It's a lamp.

  Speaker 1: to my path. Y'all, we gotta understand that. We gotta

  Speaker 1: God's word provides clear direction, just as a lamp illuminates

  Speaker 1: a dark path. Stripture shows us the way forward, even

  Speaker 1: in confusion and difficult situations. Y'all. It is the outline.

  Speaker 1: It is said that the Bible is the basic instructions

  Speaker 1: that we are supposed to follow before leaving earth. So

  Speaker 1: if these are the basic instructions that we're supposed to

  Speaker 1: follow before leaving earth, then every thing that we need

  Speaker 1: is right there in that word. We got to go
• 8:02
  Speaker 1: in there, we got to apply it to our life.

  Speaker 1: We got to pull it out, and we got to

  Speaker 1: allow it to manifest in our life. Stricture bring hope

  Speaker 1: in times of trouble, and as the Psalm showed us
• 8:15
  Speaker 1: that God's promises are anchored in us doing trials, shine
• 8:21
  Speaker 1: and light where anxiety or despair may take over, y'all.

  Speaker 1: When you can't do it on your own, you gotta
• 8:28
  Speaker 1: understand that. Yeah, he's right there, he's right there. He says,
• 8:32
  Speaker 1: cast all your cares upon me. And he already told us.

  Speaker 1: He said, seeking first the Kingdom of Heaven, and all

  Speaker 1: things would be added. He didn't say some things, y'all.

  Speaker 1: He said all things will be added. All things will

  Speaker 1: be added. So I'm grateful that if we continue to

  Speaker 1: seek him, if we continue to strive, if we continue

  Speaker 1: daily to show our dependence of Him and us needing him.

  Speaker 1: He said, the light does not reveal the whole journey.

  Speaker 1: It's not gonna reveal everything that we're gonna go through.

  Speaker 1: But then we'll reveal the next step. Y'all. You may

  Speaker 1: be in a season of despair, but if you seek him,
• 9:16
  Speaker 1: you go into his word, you study his word, you
• 9:19
  Speaker 1: meditate on his word, y'all. He'll give you direction. He'll

  Speaker 1: give you direction for the next step for this journey. No,

  Speaker 1: he may not map, he may not give you the
• 9:27
  Speaker 1: whole path for the rest of the year, but y'all,

  Speaker 1: he may give you the things that you may need

  Speaker 1: to get through this next couple of weeks, to get

  Speaker 1: you through June to get you into July. But so

  Speaker 1: you gotta seek him. You gotta spend time with him daily,

  Speaker 1: not when things are just going bad. You got to

  Speaker 1: spend time with him, even when you on top of
• 9:47
  Speaker 1: the world, when you on top of the mountain, when

  Speaker 1: everything is going great, you still gotta spend that time

  Speaker 1: with him. You gotta reference him, You got to acknowledge

  Speaker 1: him and always let him know that is not by
• 9:58
  Speaker 1: our strength, but by history that's within us that allow

  Speaker 1: us to be able to do the things that we do. Hello, Hello,

  Speaker 1: want you guys to do today to try to apply

  Speaker 1: this to your life. How can we apply this to

  Speaker 1: our life? How can we see Psalms one nineteen one

  Speaker 1: o five, how can we apply that to our life?

  Speaker 1: Begin each day with the word, set aside a quiet
• 10:30
  Speaker 1: moment each day to read, even if it's just a
• 10:34
  Speaker 1: single verse, y'all, so that your mind and spirit can
• 10:40
  Speaker 1: start with God's truth. When you can start your mind
• 10:44
  Speaker 1: and spirit off on the right track and with the
• 10:47
  Speaker 1: truth of God, y'all. If you know, if you start
• 10:51
  Speaker 1: with prayer and you start encouraged in the morning, it
• 10:55
  Speaker 1: can make your day so much brighter. And then you
• 10:58
  Speaker 1: have something that you can raw on. See prayer God's
• 11:05
  Speaker 1: promises when when you face decisions or feel uncertain, prayer,
• 11:13
  Speaker 1: praying pacific scriptures and asking God to make your next
• 11:17
  Speaker 1: step clear. Y'all. He say, if we have not we
• 11:20
  Speaker 1: should ask. He say, if you lack wisdom, asks and
• 11:25
  Speaker 1: it should be given. Y'all. The Word tells us, if
• 11:28
  Speaker 1: we seek, we shall find. If we knock, it shall open.
• 11:33
  Speaker 1: We got to believe that. Not only do we have
• 11:36
  Speaker 1: to believe that, y'all, we got to operate and that
• 11:38
  Speaker 1: we got to walk into that. And then once we
• 11:43
  Speaker 1: begin to experience and we can share with others God
• 11:49
  Speaker 1: what God has done for us. We can share our truth.

  Speaker 1: We can use God's word to encourage our friends, our families,
• 11:58
  Speaker 1: our coworkers, those that we labor amongst. Y'all. Sharing prayers
• 12:04
  Speaker 1: and scriptures and Bible versus and devotions and just your testimony, y'all,
• 12:14
  Speaker 1: can be a light to someone that may be going through,
• 12:17
  Speaker 1: someone that may be in need of that hope, someone
• 12:21
  Speaker 1: that may have been going through a period of despair,
• 12:27
  Speaker 1: a period of loneliness, a period of broken heartedness, whatever
• 12:31
  Speaker 1: they may be experiencing your truth, your word, your word
• 12:36
  Speaker 1: of encouragement, could be that that lifts them up. Because y'all,
• 12:41
  Speaker 1: we all have a purpose. We all have something here
• 12:43
  Speaker 1: on this earth that we are supposed to be doing.
• 12:46
  Speaker 1: There's something that we're supposed to be doing. We're supposed
• 12:49
  Speaker 1: to be impact in lives. How are you impacting lives?
• 12:51
  Speaker 1: What are you doing to make a difference? You'll lives
• 12:56
  Speaker 1: to be a living example. It should be a living
• 12:59
  Speaker 1: example of those things that God has done for us.

  Speaker 1: It's not by our strength, by our whatever it is
• 13:07
  Speaker 1: our power that we were able to wake up this morning, y'all.

  Speaker 1: It's that breath of life that He breathed into us
• 13:14
  Speaker 1: back in Genesis two and seven that allowed us to
• 13:17
  Speaker 1: wake up this morning without the alarm clock, that allowed
• 13:20
  Speaker 1: us to walk into this new day that was not
• 13:22
  Speaker 1: promised us. So I want you today to know that,
• 13:27
  Speaker 1: no matter how dark or uncertain your past may seem,
• 13:34
  Speaker 1: remember that God has not left you, and he left
• 13:37
  Speaker 1: you with a God he said he will never leave you,
• 13:40
  Speaker 1: Lord forsake you. His word lights up every shadow, It
• 13:45
  Speaker 1: leads us forward with hope. But you gotta trust him.
• 13:49
  Speaker 1: You got to trust him, to illuminate the next step.
• 13:54
  Speaker 1: You gotta trust him to that his light is enough
• 13:58
  Speaker 1: and his presence is you never walk along. I'm reminded

  Speaker 1: of the person that wrote that poem Footprints in the sands.

  Speaker 1: We got to understand. When you only see that one footprint,
• 14:13
  Speaker 1: those are the time that he carried us. So when
• 14:17
  Speaker 1: you think that you are long on this journey and

  Speaker 1: you think that you're walking by yourself because you only

  Speaker 1: see one set of footprints, know that they're not yours.

  Speaker 1: Know that they are the one that created us, because

  Speaker 1: he's carrying you. So I want you to be encouraged

  Speaker 1: on today. I want you to know that no matter

  Speaker 1: what you're facing, you'll get through it. I'm telling you

  Speaker 1: I faced some dark days, but I did not give up.

  Speaker 1: If I have given up, I wouldn't be able to

  Speaker 1: be right here before you right now. Wouldn't be able

  Speaker 1: to share the things that he has done for me

  Speaker 1: and how he brought me out. I wouldn't be standing

  Speaker 1: here as the author of over one hundred and forty publications,

  Speaker 1: would not have a platform that allows me to be

  Speaker 1: able to tell and be able to help other people

  Speaker 1: touch lives. Y'all have the podcast because God laid it

  Speaker 1: in my spirit. He gave me the vision. And when

  Speaker 1: he gave me the vision, he began to make provisions,

  Speaker 1: we look up to the hills, y'all, we can see

  Speaker 1: and everything that we look out and see belongs to

  Speaker 1: our father. It is his and we are joint heirs.

  Speaker 1: So every thing that we see, we're able to walk

  Speaker 1: into it. We're able to manifest that thing, y'all, We're

  Speaker 1: able to do it. Faith with our works is dead.

  Speaker 1: So if you believe in God for something, you gotta

  Speaker 1: do the work. You gotta put in the work. If

  Speaker 1: you want a number one best selling book, guess what,

  Speaker 1: you're gonna have to get out here and do the work.

  Speaker 1: You're gonna have to let somebody know about the bull.

  Speaker 1: You're gonna have to get out here and talk about it.

  Speaker 1: You're gonna have to get out here and share it.

  Speaker 1: And it's not just going in groups and posting, but

  Speaker 1: it's about engaging and letting people, let people know who

  Speaker 1: you are, get to know the people that labor amongst

  Speaker 1: you spend time. Don't just think that just going in

  Speaker 1: groups and posting in groups is engaging and being a
• 18:47
  Speaker 1: part No, and watch your mouth, how you talk to people,

  Speaker 1: how you interact with people. See so many, so many
• 18:58
  Speaker 1: of us, we have gotten it so wrong, y'all. We

  Speaker 1: say we collaborate, we say we are partnering. We say
• 19:09
  Speaker 1: a lot of things out of our mouth, but then

  Speaker 1: our actions, our actions are contradictive to the things that

  Speaker 1: we do. See one thing I have learned over these

  Speaker 1: last five or six years, it's to speak less and

  Speaker 1: to act more, to allow my actions to speak for me,

  Speaker 1: and just to speak because we can say one thing

  Speaker 1: and we can do a whole different thing. And that's

  Speaker 1: not what God is calling us to. He's calling us

  Speaker 1: to be faithful over his word, to be true, to

  Speaker 1: be honest, to be authentic. Y'all. We can't get nowhere

  Speaker 1: in this world, take an advantage of people and get

  Speaker 1: it over on people. We have to be upright before him,

  Speaker 1: and that means that we have to have integrity. Don't

  Speaker 1: think that because you have these outlets, you have these platforms,

  Speaker 1: that you can talk to people any kind of way,

  Speaker 1: Because you can't. You have to be respectful. You want

  Speaker 1: to treat people how you want to be treated. That's

  Speaker 1: one thing that I can say that my mom instilled

  Speaker 1: in me at a young age. I used to wonder

  Speaker 1: sometimes the conversations that she and I. I don't that

  Speaker 1: they my time. But I'm grateful now because I see

  Speaker 1: that God knew, he knew what my faith would be,

  Speaker 1: and he knew that there would be days that I

  Speaker 1: wouldn't have my mom in my life. There would be

  Speaker 1: days when I was gonna need those words, those things

  Speaker 1: that she poured into me at a young age. Each

  Speaker 1: at the time, I didn't understand why I was having

  Speaker 1: these conversations. And while we would be having these conversations,

  Speaker 1: you know, at ten, eleven and twelve, I didn't understand

  Speaker 1: that's where my family went. That's where we started at.

  Speaker 1: and all over you. It was just something about that

  Speaker 1: got back in the world. I backslid. I began to

  Speaker 1: do things that I know was out of the wheel

  Speaker 1: of God. But through it all, God kept me because

  Speaker 1: if you want to be kept, he'll keep you in

  Speaker 1: your mess, y'all. He'll keep you in your mess. So

  Speaker 1: different things. You know, even when you not walking up
