- 0:01Speaker 1: This episode is brought to you by P and C Bank.
- 0:03Speaker 1: A lot of people think podcasts about work are boring,
- 0:06Speaker 1: and sure they definitely can be, but understanding of professionals
- 0:10Speaker 1: routine shows us how they achieve their success little by little,
- 0:14Speaker 1: day after day. It's like banking with P and C Bank.
- 0:18Speaker 1: It might seem boring to save, plan and make calculated
- 0:21Speaker 1: decisions with your bank, but keeping your money boring is
- 0:24Speaker 1: what helps you live a more happily fulfilled life. P
- 0:27Speaker 1: and C Bank Brilliantly Boring since eighteen sixty five. Brilliantly
- 0:32Speaker 1: Boring since eighteen sixty five is a service mark of
- 0:35Speaker 1: the PNC Financial Service Group, Inc. P and C Bank
- 0:39Speaker 1: National Association Member FDIC.
- 0:43Speaker 2: There's a few downward stocks right now. Netflix is down
- 0:46Speaker 2: thirty four percent, Metas down twenty two percent. Microsoft is
- 0:50Speaker 2: down seventeen percent, Tesla twelve percent, Video twelve percent, Apple
- 0:53Speaker 2: ten percent, Amazon eight percent, Google two percent. What down
- 0:58Speaker 2: stock is the stock that you most like right now?
- 1:03Speaker 3: Oh?
- 1:04Speaker 4: This category all of them long term. If we're looking
- 1:06Speaker 4: short term, Microsoft will be first. And I really love
- 1:11Speaker 4: the restructure of Tesla no longer being a car company
- 1:16Speaker 4: and then being autonomous in him being focused more than
- 1:19Speaker 4: ever do. I think Netflix will recover once again. It's
- 1:22Speaker 4: a debt issue. I think Netflix will probably be third
- 1:27Speaker 4: and they'll be fine, But I'm going to have to
- 1:29Speaker 4: go with Microsoft first, Tesla second, then Netflix third. The
- 1:34Speaker 4: rip is a great kudos have been Nefleck and like,
- 1:38Speaker 4: what you didn't It's like in the town and one
- 1:42Speaker 4: I didn't.
- 1:42Speaker 3: I didn't finish it. I was watching. Uh is it?
- 1:45Speaker 3: He said? She said? What isn't heard her? Yeah?
- 1:51Speaker 5: Netflix is doing a few things that's concerned to me.
- 1:54Speaker 3: Tell me more.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Yeah, they're going into music. Wait what, Oh, you ain't
- 2:02Speaker 2: about that.
- 2:04Speaker 4: No, I've been you know, I've been on my peaceful
- 2:06Speaker 4: meditation things. Then, no, I didn't see that.
- 2:09Speaker 2: I spoke to somebody that was very high up on
- 2:11Speaker 2: the food chain today when it comes to these content
- 2:15Speaker 2: creation topics, and they said that your Netflix, they're creating
- 2:19Speaker 2: their own streaming service for music. And don't be surprised
- 2:23Speaker 2: if they signed Drake or somebody of that calend of
- 2:28Speaker 2: that magnitude.
- 2:29Speaker 3: Okay, that I have heard, Yeah.
- 2:32Speaker 5: I think that might be. I don't know it to gamble.
- 2:35Speaker 2: But then there's this number one, like one of the
- 2:37Speaker 2: top three movies on Netflix right now. I watched yesterday.
- 2:40Speaker 2: It's like The Suitcase Killer. You have watched that. Oh yeah,
- 2:43Speaker 2: I was actually gonna watch it last night.
- 2:45Speaker 3: But Netflix back right now.
- 2:47Speaker 5: It's concerning.
- 2:52Speaker 3: The reason why or the strategy.
- 2:55Speaker 5: It's the movie.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Is a lifetime It's like a lifetime movie.
- 3:01Speaker 3: Okay.
- 3:02Speaker 5: I was surprised that Netflix even put it on their platform.
- 3:04Speaker 6: They do some of those mm hmm. That doesn't that
- 3:09Speaker 6: just on an eye test, Yeah, that's not fit.
- 3:16Speaker 5: It's like shot starting.
- 3:22Speaker 3: You're starting to cut it too much.
- 3:26Speaker 5: Stepped on, you're cutting it too much.
- 3:27Speaker 3: Man. And it was like the top ten recommended to
- 3:32Speaker 3: it was.
- 3:33Speaker 5: Like number three exactly was number three. It's trending.
- 3:35Speaker 3: Yeah, but here, I mean, tomorrow is a big day.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Right by the time we come on on on Market
- 3:42Speaker 1: Money's next week, we'll have a better picture of what
- 3:44Speaker 1: Netflix looks like.
- 3:45Speaker 3: I think fourth quarter is traditionally that the best quarter.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Fourth and first are usually the best, obviously because of
- 3:51Speaker 1: the content that they put out, and they had a
- 3:53Speaker 1: hell of a year when you're talking about Stranger Things,
- 3:56Speaker 1: I mean, it's still the most watched thing on Netflix.
- 4:00Speaker 3: Millions of views.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Talk about squad games that they had, they had the
- 4:03Speaker 1: finale for that. Then they brought in the Dragon was
- 4:05Speaker 1: the Dragon Demon or Demon Slayer whatever that thing is,
- 4:09Speaker 1: and now Crazy Demon Hunters. That was incredible, and they
- 4:14Speaker 1: just had a wildcard, like the Didy documentary is a wildcard,
- 4:18Speaker 1: but the numbers that it did were incredible. Adding to
- 4:21Speaker 1: that the live sports you have football, you had the J.
- 4:23Speaker 3: Paul fight.
- 4:25Speaker 1: I think they're going to report an incredible quarter and
- 4:28Speaker 1: maybe we'll get more clarity on what this Warner Brothers
- 4:30Speaker 1: deal looks like.
- 4:31Speaker 3: I know they're trying to expedite that.
- 4:33Speaker 1: They said now they're going to do all cash, right,
- 4:35Speaker 1: you do all cash now, The timeframe that you can
- 4:38Speaker 1: get that content into the wheelhouse and start trying to
- 4:40Speaker 1: make revenue off of it gets picked up in the
- 4:44Speaker 1: first two quarters of this year, where it was looking
- 4:46Speaker 1: like if they were going to do loans and figure
- 4:48Speaker 1: out how they were going to do buy backs and shares,
- 4:50Speaker 1: they would have took them to twenty twenty eight. They're
- 4:52Speaker 1: trying to get back into this space where yes, we
- 4:55Speaker 1: did the ten to one spit, but was still the
- 4:57Speaker 1: most dominant thing when it comes to media and especially
- 5:00Speaker 1: really uh streaming services. Tomorrow will be very interesting, and
- 5:04Speaker 1: it's gonna tell us a lot.
- 5:05Speaker 3: I like Netflix, all.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Right, before we bring MG on? Could we gotta bring
- 5:08Speaker 2: MG on? The last thing is, uh, Microsoft, When is Microsoft?
- 5:12Speaker 2: When we're gonna see some when we're gonna see some
- 5:14Speaker 2: action for Microsoft?
- 5:19Speaker 3: Are you not happy with how that?
- 5:21Speaker 4: I mean, I think they're in a great position right
- 5:23Speaker 4: now to like around our four socclub. I'm not gonna
- 5:26Speaker 4: give our prices away before forty nine as a even
- 5:30Speaker 4: not even not even a bypoint per se. But like
- 5:33Speaker 4: Microsoft has been kind of like.
- 5:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean it was all right a year ago
- 5:40Speaker 2: with four hundred and forty four dollars and today is
- 5:42Speaker 2: four hundred and fifty nine dollars, So it's been pretty
- 5:45Speaker 2: much flat for a year, right, Like, when are we
- 5:48Speaker 2: going to start to see Microsoft takeoff to the upside?
- 5:52Speaker 4: I think once they figure out the all the to
- 5:54Speaker 4: be very honest, the on boarding of a new AI
- 5:58Speaker 4: partner and what that looks like, and then also to
- 6:02Speaker 4: the window of when Opening I goes public. This reminds
- 6:05Speaker 4: me of like a star player being in the Star organization.
- 6:09Speaker 4: But it's not working out, So let's get this off
- 6:11Speaker 4: the books. Let's get off forty nine percent but now
- 6:14Speaker 4: we have all the tools for co pilot and all
- 6:17Speaker 4: the software that we need.
- 6:21Speaker 3: It's very interesting. But like same with bitcoin.
- 6:23Speaker 4: If bitcoin is at negative ten percent for the year,
- 6:26Speaker 4: it's still represents in the miss bout opportunity for the
- 6:29Speaker 4: next two or three years. And I think on the
- 6:30Speaker 4: enterprise front, as we head into recession in twenty seven,
- 6:34Speaker 4: I think they'd be more valuable. But like once they
- 6:36Speaker 4: get the open EA situation, keep your calendar's mark.
- 6:41Speaker 3: When they'll go public, they'll be good. They'll be good.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Erners.
- 6:45Speaker 3: What's up?
