- 0:20Well, ladies and gentlemen, thanks so much for
- 0:21joining me during the second half of our
- 0:23one hour broadcast.
- 0:26I always like to, you know, share with
- 0:28you something that I believe is so important,
- 0:31so profound, so influential.
- 0:33Uh we share so much in our life
- 0:35with people.
- 0:36We do forget from time to time to
- 0:39share what no doubt in my mind, and
- 0:41I would hope no doubt in the mind
- 0:44of many of you listening, is the most
- 0:46influential topic that we can talk about with
- 0:49regard to the destiny of our lives and
- 0:51the destiny of our nation.
- 0:54And that topic happens to be God.
- 0:57It happens to be America.
- 0:59It happens to be God and country.
- 1:02You see, the two are intertwined.
- 1:06The two are eternally connected, if you will.
- 1:10I strongly believe, without any doubt, based on
- 1:13the history of the United States of America
- 1:16as well as the history of the Bible,
- 1:18that uh God has a lot to do
- 1:21with the founding of our country and the
- 1:23future of our country.
- 1:26So I'm gonna kind of go down that
- 1:28road, all right?
- 1:29Especially in the view of the fact that
- 1:32we are soon celebrating the 250th anniversary of
- 1:35our great United States of America.
- 1:38Why not talk about God and country at
- 1:39this time?
- 1:40Why not talk about God and country every
- 1:43time that we get on the air?
- 1:45Uh and many times, maybe during our personal
- 1:47conversations.
- 1:50I'm sure many of you may have noticed
- 1:52what I have noticed that indeed we have
- 1:55separated ourselves to a great degree, meaning we
- 1:58the American people have separated our country to
- 2:00a great degree from a belief and worship
- 2:03in God Almighty.
- 2:06Something we need to talk about maybe a
- 2:08little bit more often and try to uh
- 2:11meet that challenge of getting this country back
- 2:14into a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
- 2:17What is wrong with that, folks?
- 2:19I see nothing wrong with that.
- 2:20Look, what I'm about to share with you,
- 2:23it's gonna be to some of you very
- 2:25startling, perhaps alarming, uh, but no doubt it's
- 2:28gonna be sobering.
- 2:30So I'm gonna ask you just to sit
- 2:33back, take a few minutes, think about what
- 2:35I'm about to share with you, and hopefully
- 2:38you'll uh you'll really give some thought to
- 2:40what we're about to uh have a discussion
- 2:43about and uh make life a little bit
- 2:45more explainable to you and better for you.
- 2:48So here's how I'm gonna start.
- 2:49I'm gonna let you know right out, without
- 2:52any hesitation, that I believe that God has
- 2:54protected the United States of America since its
- 2:56founding.
- 2:59He's protecting us right now, and he'll continue
- 3:02to do so until the end of this
- 3:05age.
- 3:09When that end comes, I do not know.
- 3:11But we know an end is coming.
- 3:13We know that there is enough evidence in
- 3:15the Bible that makes it very clear that
- 3:17the end is coming.
- 3:20I've heard a lot of people talk about
- 3:22we are living in prophetic times.
- 3:23I believe that.
- 3:25I believe we may be living right now
- 3:27at the beginning of the end times.
- 3:30Now it'll take another broadcast or two and
- 3:32another discussion to uh unload that to unpack
- 3:34that.
- 3:36But if you want to know more about
- 3:38that, I'll tell you what, folks, read the
- 3:40Bible, read the book of Daniel, read the
- 3:42book of Revelation.
- 3:44It's all there right in front of us.
- 3:46Unfortunately, not too many of us these days
- 3:49read what's in that book, that great book,
- 3:51the Holy Bible, and many who do read
- 3:53what's in the book don't believe it.
- 3:56Well, that leads us to another discussion at
- 3:58another time.
- 4:00But as long as we stay close to
- 4:02Him, meaning the Lord Jesus Christ, as long
- 4:04as we honor Him and worship Him, and
- 4:07repent of our sins, not only as individuals,
- 4:09but as a nation, we're gonna do fine
- 4:11as we move forward.
- 4:14Not that we're not gonna have struggles, not
- 4:16that you're not gonna have struggles, but we
- 4:18will do fine.
- 4:21We will overcome our challenges as a country.
- 4:24You will overcome your challenges as an individual,
- 4:26and we will all be sitting back thanking
- 4:29God Almighty for being there with us and
- 4:32for us in time of need.
- 4:35Now, one place that I go constantly to
- 4:37for support is the book of life, the
- 4:39Bible.
- 4:41Why?
- 4:42Well, that's God's living water, and that's the
- 4:44bread of life.
- 4:47Yeah, that's what the Bible's described as in
- 4:49the Word of God, the living water, which
- 4:51is the Word of Jesus Christ and the
- 4:53bread of life.
- 4:55So when I'm thirsty and I'm hungry, not
- 4:58for food, but when I'm thirsty and hungry
- 5:01for an uplift for for some sort of
- 5:04answers to questions I have about life, about
- 5:06why I'm here, about my country.
- 5:10My goodness, I worry about our country day
- 5:11in and day out.
- 5:12And I'm sure a lot of you also
- 5:14worry about our country.
- 5:15But what are you doing about it?
- 5:17And what am I doing about it?
- 5:19There are things we can't do about the
- 5:21things that our country is facing.
- 5:24And we don't have to get involved in
- 5:26the politics and in the protest and in
- 5:28this and in that that man has created.
- 5:30All we have to do is stay focused
- 5:32on Jesus Christ.
- 5:34Period.
- 5:36Now, many of you might say it sounds
- 5:37too simple.
- 5:38Well, it sounds simple because it is simple.
- 5:42But yet there's a barrier that's been built.
- 5:45And that barrier is sin.
- 5:47That barrier is Satan.
- 5:49Look, if you don't believe in Satan, well,
- 5:51you've got a big problem.
- 5:53If you don't believe in God, you've got
- 5:55a bigger problem.
- 5:56There is a God, there is a savior,
- 5:59and there is a devil.
- 6:01There is a Satan.
- 6:03God has a name.
- 6:05His name is Jesus.
- 6:07Many of you are unaware of the fact
- 6:09that Satan has a name.
- 6:11And it's not just the devil, but his
- 6:13name is Lucifer.
- 6:15So these are two beings, two supernatural beings
- 6:19that are a constant war since the creation
- 6:22of God Almighty.
- 6:26Since the creation of mankind, I should say.
- 6:29God was always there.
- 6:30All right.
- 6:31So I I don't know how he got
- 6:32there.
- 6:34I don't know anything about the beginning of
- 6:36the beginning, but I believe it.
- 6:39I believe every word that's in that Bible.
- 6:43When he was pretty much asked, well, who
- 6:44are you?
- 6:45He said, I am who I am.
- 6:46I always was and always will be.
- 6:48That's all I need to know.
- 6:50I have enough faith in the Word of
- 6:53God that every single sentence, every single word,
- 6:55every single period, every single question mark, every
- 6:58single exclamation mark is true.
- 7:00Is true, inspired by the Lord Jesus Christ,
- 7:01Inspired by the Lord Jesus Christ, inspired by
- 7:03inspired by God Almighty.
- 7:04God Almighty.
- 7:06So that's where you start, folks.
- 7:06So that's where you start, folks.
- 7:08You gotta believe.
- 7:08You gotta believe.
- 7:08You don't believe, then forget about it.
- 7:08You don't believe, then forget about it.
- 7:10Forget about anything.
- 7:10Forget about anything.
- 7:11Just live your life and get buried in
- 7:11Just live your life and get buried in
- 7:13a hump of dirt.
- 7:13a hump of dirt.
- 7:15If you believe in God, and I mean
- 7:15If you believe in God, and I mean
- 7:17really believe in him, and you accept Jesus
- 7:17really believe in him, and you accept Jesus
- 7:20as your savior, you have added value to
- 7:20as your savior, you have added value to
- 7:22preserving the land of the free and the
- 7:22preserving the land of the free and the
- 7:24home of the brave, as well as preserving
- 7:25home of the brave, as well as preserving
- 7:27your life.
- 7:28your life from the evils that this world
- 7:30has brought upon many of us, as brought
- 7:33to our doorsteps.
- 7:36You know, in scripture, God makes many promises
- 7:37to nations.
- 7:39Now, as I share some of this with
- 7:42you, I'm going to talk about God's promises
- 7:44to nations around the world, in particular ours,
- 7:47and promises, by the way, you can relate
- 7:50to you as an individual.
- 7:54So he made many promises to nations, and
- 7:56one of them is Psalm 33, 12.
- 7:59And you know what that psalm says to
- 8:00us?
- 8:01It tells us, as a nation, that we
- 8:04are truly blessed if we recognize the Lord
- 8:07as our God and chooses to follow his
- 8:10will.
- 8:14That's it.
- 8:15Blessed is the nation, that scripture says, whose
- 8:19God is the Lord, and the people whom
- 8:23he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
- 8:28Blessed is the United States of America, folks,
- 8:32and Israel, because Israel happens to be, in
- 8:37my humble view, God's country.
- 8:44He's always, always protected Israel.
- 8:47He was in Israel, he ministered in Israel.
- 8:50Well, he talks about Jerusalem in the Bible
- 8:53over and over and over again, and he
- 8:55promises that there'll be a new Jerusalem.
- 8:57So anybody who says that Israel is not
- 9:00special, and by the way, let me add,
- 9:03anybody who not says that the United States
- 9:06of America is not special based on our
- 9:08history and our relationship with Jesus Christ, they
- 9:11don't know what they're talking about.
- 9:14They absolutely have no idea with regard to
- 9:17God's plan for Israel and the United States
- 9:20and how we are eternally bonded together.
- 9:23But again, another topic at another time.
- 9:27But the point here is that as long
- 9:29as we the people, that's you and me,
- 9:31as long as we the people decide in
- 9:34our individual lives to repent of our lives,
- 9:36to our sins, repent of our sins, accept
- 9:39Christ as our Savior, accept Him as His
- 9:41Word, and you know what?
- 9:44There'll be a ripple effect across this country,
- 9:46and it'll bring a revival.
- 9:48Maybe not a big loud revival that we've
- 9:50seen in the past, but I'm talking about
- 9:52the revival in the heart, soul, and spirit
- 9:54of every American citizen.
- 9:56And that'll draw us all close to the
- 9:58King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.
- 10:01And then He'll go to work.
- 10:02He'll go to work on keeping His promises
- 10:04and blessing us.
- 10:07You know, I want you to just think
- 10:08about something.
- 10:09And I really mean this, because I've done
- 10:11this.
- 10:12I've looked at periods of time when our
- 10:16nation has separated itself from Israel, has separated
- 10:19itself in many degrees from worshiping Jesus Christ
- 10:23as God Almighty.
- 10:27And I've noticed that when that's happened, we've
- 10:30suffered some pretty serious consequences in our country.
- 10:34Economic downfalls, political pressures unlike any pressures we've
- 10:37seen in the history of our country, wars
- 10:40that we've gotten involved in, that maybe we
- 10:43should not have gotten involved in.
- 10:47Now one might say, well, what does God
- 10:48have to do with it?
- 10:49Well, he has a lot to do with
- 10:51that.
- 10:52Natural disasters.
- 10:53You notice they're increasing, tornadoes, weird weather patterns,
- 10:57earthquakes.
- 11:00Now, of course, there'll be progressives and others
- 11:02who believe not in God or believe not
- 11:04in the holy scriptures, that I tell you
- 11:06this has a lot to do with uh
- 11:09climate change, global warming.
- 11:11Well, let's say it does for the sake
- 11:12of argument.
- 11:14Who created the climate?
- 11:16Who created global warming?
- 11:17I mean, who's the author and finisher of
- 11:19the creation of this planet as well as
- 11:22everything?
- 11:24God Almighty.
- 11:25All roads lead to God.
- 11:28All roads lead to Jesus.
- 11:31But my point about the fact that we're
- 11:33seeing these changes, and that not for good,
- 11:36but for bad, but for worse, I believe
- 11:39to a certain degree, we're beginning to see,
- 11:42just like Pharaoh of Egypt did, when he
- 11:45turned his back on God, the God of
- 11:48Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and decided to worship
- 11:51the sun gods and the moon gods and
- 11:54all of these other types of gods that
- 11:57the Egyptians had, the plagues came.
- 12:00The plagues, folks.
- 12:02You see, history does repeat itself.
- 12:06So judgment came to Pharaoh, as judgment has
- 12:09come to nations around the world, to great
- 12:12degrees.
- 12:16But to the United States of America, and
- 12:19particularly to Israel, I don't see any great
- 12:22degrees of judgment that have hit this country
- 12:25other than when we decided, we meaning our
- 12:28government leaders during their times, pretty much uh
- 12:32separated themselves or allowed a separation to take
- 12:35place between God and country.
- 12:38Mary Madeline O'Hara.
- 12:41Maybe not a familiar name for a lot
- 12:44of individuals who were born after she was
- 12:46on this earth, but that's a woman who
- 12:49decided to fight the fight of taking prayer
- 12:51out of our schools decades ago, won the
- 12:54case in the Supreme Court.
- 12:56There was an effort to remove in God
- 12:59we trust off our money, off our buildings.
- 13:02There was an effort to remove, and in
- 13:04some success, it's been successful in certain cities,
- 13:07uh, any type of celebration of Christmas, citing
- 13:10uh separation of church and state in the
- 13:13Constitution of the United States.
- 13:17Well, I don't know, at least in my
- 13:20mind, how a prayer uh endorses a religion.
- 13:24How is celebrating Christmas has anything to do
- 13:26with the state?
- 13:29You know, you can separate probably under our
- 13:31laws, the way they're interpreted now, and I
- 13:33pray to God that it'll be changed as
- 13:36time goes on, but maybe they can be
- 13:38successful in separation church and state issues, but
- 13:40they're never gonna separate man and God.
- 13:43They're never gonna separate America and God, they're
- 13:45never gonna separate Israel and God.
- 13:47Now, if those of you who live in
- 13:50under other countries, if you believe you're part
- 13:52of this plan, well, you're right, you are.
- 13:55You can be in Canada, be in Europe,
- 13:57Africa, any place on earth.
- 13:59That promise that goes for us, blessed are
- 14:00That promise that goes for us, blessed are
- 14:02the nations whose God is the Lord, goes
- 14:02the nations whose God is the Lord, goes
- 14:04for you too.
- 14:04for you too.
- 14:07You know, what this passage is saying is
- 14:07You know, what this passage is saying is
- 14:08very simple.
- 14:08very simple.
- 14:10A nation does better when it honors God.
- 14:10A nation does better when it honors God.
- 14:13And the blessing it talks about isn't just
- 14:13And the blessing it talks about isn't just
- 14:15about money and politics and the material things
- 14:15about money and politics and the material things
- 14:16of this world.
- 14:16of this world.
- 14:18It also includes, and probably more important than
- 14:18It also includes, and probably more important than
- 14:20anything else.
- 14:22anything else, it includes spiritual strength, unity, God's
- 14:23It includes spiritual strength, unity, God's guidance, God's
- 14:25wisdom.
- 14:26guidance, God's wisdom, wisdom brought to every single.
- 14:28Wisdom brought to every single person who lives
- 14:30in these countries that believe in and worship
- 14:32Jesus Christ as God.
- 14:35Not just leaders, all of us.
- 14:38And even though some historians see it differently,
- 14:41most, if not all of our founding fathers,
- 14:43believed in God and look to him for
- 14:46direction through what?
- 14:49Faith, trust, and prayer.
- 14:52Would you believe there are books out, publications
- 14:54out that attempt to prove that our founding
- 14:56fathers were atheists?
- 14:59Now, where do they get that information from?
- 15:02We call it fake news today.
- 15:05We call it manufactured narratives today.
- 15:09We call it progressive politics today.
- 15:12Nothing new, folks.
- 15:14Gone on for centuries.
- 15:15Gone on for the 250 years that the
- 15:19United States of America has been in existence.
- 15:23Gone on for a thousand years, thousands of
- 15:25years that Israel has been in existence.
- 15:29The devil is alive and well on planet
- 15:30Earth.
- 15:32A preacher once said years ago, boy, was
- 15:35he right.
- 15:37But so is the Holy Spirit, alive and
- 15:40well on planet Earth.
- 15:43And you know how he is alive and
- 15:44well?
- 15:45Because he lives within you.
- 15:47Sin also lives within us.
- 15:50We were born as sinners.
- 15:51Make no mistake about it.
- 15:53But we can be delivered from that sin
- 15:55because we have a deliverer.
- 15:57And that happens to be Jesus.
- 15:59All roads in life, liberty, and the pursuit
- 16:02of happiness, folks, lit lead to Jesus Christ,
- 16:05the Savior, the one who came and shed
- 16:08his blood so that all of our sins
- 16:11may be forgiven.
- 16:14And yes, we need to repent individually.
- 16:19And as we repent individually, we repent as
- 16:22a nation.
- 16:24And then therein lies the road, the pathway
- 16:27to blessings.
- 16:31Now, since the founding of our country, our
- 16:34nation has upheld the principle in the Constitution
- 16:37of the United States that Congress shall make
- 16:40no law respecting an establishment of religion or
- 16:43prohibiting the free exercise thereof.
- 16:46I'm fine with that.
- 16:48I'm fine with that.
- 16:49The government should not be establishing a religion.
- 16:53But that doesn't mean that we, the people
- 16:55can't establish that religion.
- 16:58It just don't have to become law.
- 17:01But we could have what the law embedded,
- 17:04burned, if you will, into our hearts, souls,
- 17:07and spirits, and exercise that law.
- 17:12And keep it away from the Constitution.
- 17:15Because there could come a time, and we've
- 17:16seen it happen, where there have been churches
- 17:18of Satan springing up all over the place.
- 17:20You want, you want uh the law to
- 17:23say, well, you know, the country can establish
- 17:25a national religion, and when the bad people
- 17:27get into office, that's what they're gonna do.
- 17:30We don't want that.
- 17:31I don't need the law of God supported
- 17:35by a political entity or supported by politicians,
- 17:38because the law of God is burned in
- 17:42my heart and supported by me.
- 17:45That's where that counts and could be supported
- 17:47by you.
- 17:50That's the importance of repentance.
- 17:53Person by person, household by household, neighborhood by
- 17:56neighborhood, city by city, town by town, state
- 17:59by state, right across America.
- 18:02And there we are.
- 18:03Blessed is the nation whose God is the
- 18:05Lord.
- 18:07Now, unfortunately, from the 1960s until now, our
- 18:10nation has seen a decline in reverence for
- 18:13God, and even worse, hatred, evil.
- 18:16It's all over the place.
- 18:18And sin running rampant.
- 18:20They've taken a stronger hold in America for
- 18:22far too long.
- 18:26Every single day I turn my computer on,
- 18:28I got stuff thrown in my face.
- 18:31I mean, it's just unbelievable.
- 18:35I've got to tell you, folks, the things
- 18:37that are now on that internet, people beating
- 18:40each other, stabbing each other, shootings, all right,
- 18:42videos of cops pulling people over and getting
- 18:45shot and killed.
- 18:47I mean, it's unbelievable.
- 18:49The fighting going on, the criminal acts that
- 18:51we see now.
- 18:52And on top of that, folks, if you
- 18:55notice, and a lot of people don't like
- 18:58a talk about this, but I will, the
- 19:00assault, the assault on us with regard to
- 19:03sex, sex acts, all right, trying to draw
- 19:05people's attention away from what God wants us
- 19:08to have our attention focused on to the
- 19:11very thing Satan wants our attention on.
- 19:13The distraction of what we should be thinking
- 19:16about and what we should be focused on
- 19:19is being determined by who?
- 19:23By Satan.
- 19:25Because you are allowing it to do that.
- 19:28Every time I turn a computer on, you've
- 19:30got women half naked walking down some street
- 19:33in some porn uh area of a city.
- 19:36You've got all kinds of crazy stuff going
- 19:38on.
- 19:39Uh, I gotta tell you, folks, that if
- 19:41you notice most of it is women.
- 19:43That doesn't make women bad.
- 19:45That makes men bad.
- 19:46Because men seem to be more apt to
- 19:50commit those types of sins, right?
- 19:53Whether that sin be adultery, fornication, and on
- 19:56and on and on.
- 20:00It seems like men are more apt to
- 20:01commit those sins than women.
- 20:03I don't know.
- 20:04But because there's all kinds of videos out
- 20:07there with women uh half naked tells me
- 20:09a little bit of a story.
- 20:13So you gotta do what I do, just
- 20:14turn it off.
- 20:16You know what?
- 20:17You might think, well, let me just look
- 20:18for a minute.
- 20:19Well, there it is, the seeds have been
- 20:20planted.
- 20:21Then a minute becomes ten minutes, and then
- 20:24ten minutes becomes thirty minutes.
- 20:27It's addictive, folks.
- 20:28It is addictive, and it is sinful.
- 20:32Lust, lust is sinful.
- 20:35None of us are perfect.
- 20:37You I'm not saying you know you gotta
- 20:38be perfect.
- 20:40You slip, you fall, just pick yourself up
- 20:41and say, Lord, help me.
- 20:43Just keep me away from this stuff.
- 20:45Because at the end of that journey, you're
- 20:48not gonna just be looking at lustful pictures.
- 20:52You may end up committing those acts.
- 20:54Now, why do I say that?
- 20:56I have friends that have fallen into that
- 20:58trap.
- 20:59Years ago, when I was in college, you
- 21:00Years ago when I was in college, you
- 21:01know what?
- 21:01know what?
- 21:02Single, young guy going out, doing all sorts
- 21:03Single, young guy going out, doing all sorts
- 21:05of things, meeting women here and there, and
- 21:05of things, meeting women here and there, and
- 21:07doing things as I look back.
- 21:07doing things as I look back.
- 21:09I'm lucky.
- 21:09I'm lucky, I uh I shouldn't say I'm
- 21:10I shouldn't say I'm lucky.
- 21:11lucky, I'm just thanking God that he saved
- 21:12I'm just thanking God that he saved me
- 21:13me from that pit of hell.
- 21:14from that pit of hell.
- 21:16Because I wouldn't be talking with you right
- 21:16Because I wouldn't be talking with you right
- 21:17now.
- 21:17now.
- 21:18I turned my life around and said, you
- 21:18I turned my life around and said, you
- 21:20know what?
- 21:20know what, this ain't no good.
- 21:21This ain't no good.
- 21:22There's got to be more to life than
- 21:22There's gotta be more to life than doing
- 21:24doing this kind of stuff.
- 21:24this kind of stuff.
- 21:25Turn my life around and he put me
- 21:25Turn my life around and you put my
- 21:27on a path of success.
- 21:27path of success.
- 21:30But path with problems.
- 21:32Yep, path with temptation, all kinds of stuff.
- 21:35Even now, you know, these things go on
- 21:36in my life.
- 21:37But because I now have accepted Jesus Christ
- 21:40as my savior, my friend, my buddy, my
- 21:42protector, my savior.
- 21:45I am delivered from this stuff.
- 21:48All of it.
- 21:49All of it.
- 21:50Am I tempted?
- 21:51You bet.
- 21:52Do I fall into that temptation?
- 21:54Nope.
- 21:55Not at all.
- 21:57I just move on.
- 21:58Move on.
- 22:00And it's not only that.
- 22:02You got people who are now, you know,
- 22:04I mean, obsessed with money.
- 22:06Money becomes their idol, obsessed with power.
- 22:10All these things that go on in our
- 22:11lives.
- 22:13And so, you know, I've been involved in
- 22:14politics where power and money and all this
- 22:16stuff thrown in front of me.
- 22:18Wow, I could be a millionaire.
- 22:20Yeah.
- 22:20On my way to hell.
- 22:22On my way to hell.
- 22:24I just want you to think about that,
- 22:25folks.
- 22:26Think about that because these are problems and
- 22:29difficulties that our nation never faced years and
- 22:32years ago because we didn't have the technology.
- 22:35You know something?
- 22:36I'm reading the Bible one day, and it
- 22:38talks about Satan and some of the things
- 22:41that he does to nations.
- 22:43And I read a part where it said
- 22:45he is the prince of the air.
- 22:47Years ago.
- 22:48Years ago I read that.
- 22:51And I was wondering, what is the Prince
- 22:52of the Air?
- 22:53Now time went on, and I read it,
- 22:55re-read it, rethought about it a couple of
- 22:57weeks ago.
- 22:58Well, I read this years ago.
- 23:00Satan, the Prince of the Air.
- 23:02The Prince of the Airwaves.
- 23:05Think about that.
- 23:07Didn't have the internet years ago.
- 23:09Didn't have TV many years ago.
- 23:12But now we got the airwaves cluttered with
- 23:15every unimaginable thing, every unimaginable transmission.
- 23:19So the prince of the airwaves.
- 23:22That's how he comes to get us.
- 23:24The internet, television, radio, filled, filled with sinful
- 23:28stuff.
- 23:32Being shot right into our brains, taking over
- 23:34our heart, soul, and spirit.
- 23:36And the only defensive weapon you have against
- 23:39that is Jesus Christ.
- 23:41Jesus Christ.
- 23:42So when you think about our nation, where
- 23:45we have been TV shows years ago, a
- 23:48lot of kids can't enjoy.
- 23:51A lot of them.
- 23:51I remember watching Leave It to Beaver, Andy
- 23:53Griffith or wholesome programs.
- 23:56Even cartoons had messages.
- 23:58Mr.
- 23:59Ed, the talking horse.
- 24:00A lot of you might be laughing at
- 24:02that right now, but these were the things
- 24:03we used to see day in and day
- 24:05out, wholesome stories.
- 24:07That brought us closer to mom and dad
- 24:09and sisters and brothers and families.
- 24:11And ultimately closer to God.
- 24:13No more.
- 24:15Gone.
- 24:16So it's up to us.
- 24:17It's up to you, and it's up to
- 24:18me.
- 24:19Blessed is the nation whose God is the
- 24:21Lord.
- 24:23We must keep that in mind.
- 24:24And how are we going to make sure
- 24:26our nation is blessed?
- 24:28Again, focusing in on Christ as our Savior.
- 24:32So it's time, my friends, to recognize that
- 24:34to a great extent, we as a people
- 24:37have pushed God away.
- 24:40We have.
- 24:41We gotta admit that.
- 24:42The consequences, some would argue, resemble the judgments
- 24:44that came upon Egypt, as I just shared
- 24:47with you in the days of Moses.
- 24:50So that's where we are, folks.
- 24:52We are in a famine.
- 24:54Bible says there'll be a famine in the
- 24:56land.
- 24:58Not a food or water, but a famine
- 25:00of the word of God.
- 25:02That's where we are.
- 25:03So what are we going to do about
- 25:04it?
- 25:05There was a warning from the prophet Amos,
- 25:07811, something we need to think about.
- 25:10And that Prophet Amos said this.
- 25:15Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord
- 25:17God.
- 25:19When I was sent when I will send
- 25:22a famine on the land, not a famine
- 25:24of bread or thirst for water, but a
- 25:26famine of hearing the words of the Lord.
- 25:29I've got to tell you, this warning was
- 25:32given to Israel in the eighth century before
- 25:34Christ.
- 25:37As that nation began to drift and drift
- 25:41and drift into moral decay and social injustice.
- 25:45History is repeating itself here in the United
- 25:48States of America.
- 25:51Is it possible, my friends, that we in
- 25:54America are seeing history repeat itself?
- 25:58But this time around, it's not a warning
- 25:59for Israel.
- 26:01It is a warning for you and for
- 26:03me.
- 26:05A warning for the United States of America
- 26:08to be continued.

- 30:30Well, the American people have seen Google's track
- 30:31record.
- 30:34Is Google an untrustworthy player in the AI
- 30:36race?
- 30:42Now is our time, my fellow Americans.
- 30:46America outlaw.
- 31:01Welcome to our broadcast today, ladies and gentlemen.
- 31:03It's always a pleasure, always a pleasure being
- 31:06given the opportunity to share with you some
- 31:08of the uh points of interest, right?
- 31:11Things of interest, I should say, that are
- 31:13happening around our country and around the world.
- 31:16And I gotta tell you, folks, uh one
- 31:18thing we're beginning to see at an alarming
- 31:21rate, and that is the criminal acts of
- 31:23teenagers.
- 31:26Teenagers all over the United States of America
- 31:29seem to be forming criminal enterprises.
- 31:32Now we used to look at them as
- 31:34uh gangs, right?
- 31:35We used to think, well, you know, there's
- 31:37a gang here, there's a gang there, and
- 31:39uh they rise up every once in a
- 31:41while, they commit some sort of uh terrible
- 31:43uh atrocity, they're arrested, they're put in jail,
- 31:45they're released from jail, they go out and
- 31:47do their thing again, and you know, the
- 31:49vicious cycle of criminal activity.
- 31:51Uh they're treated as kids, they're treated as
- 31:53juveniles, they go to juvenile court, uh uh,
- 31:55they go to juvenile court, they get a
- 31:57uh lesser sentence than what they would get
- 32:00if they were tried as adults.
- 32:02You know, you know this whole story.
- 32:04Uh and what have we seen happen as
- 32:06a result of a criminal justice system that
- 32:09treats uh real tough bad teenagers with kid
- 32:11gloves.
- 32:14We see them go out again on our
- 32:17streets day in and day out, and literally
- 32:20begin to take over our streets.
- 32:23And we're beginning to see that trend rapidly
- 32:26increase across the United States of America, not
- 32:29in just large cities, but also in large
- 32:32and small and medium-sized towns all across the
- 32:35country.
- 32:38And the uh news media is picking up
- 32:40on a lot of this, as well as
- 32:43a lot of city uh leaders in the
- 32:45larger uh cities of our country, and now
- 32:47smaller towns are beginning to realize that that
- 32:49so-called they call it a phenomenon, all right.
- 32:52They say this phenomenon and the growth of
- 32:55uh teen violence uh has to be addressed.
- 32:58Well, they should have figured that out years
- 32:59ago.
- 33:01All right, it was a growing trend.
- 33:03We warned, meaning we in law enforcement warned
- 33:06the uh governments from uh small towns to
- 33:09large cities that uh the longer you wait
- 33:13to take the law and apply it towards
- 33:16juveniles as you apply it towards adults, you're
- 33:19gonna see a growth in the uh crime
- 33:23rates among the juvenile population.
- 33:26And that's what's happening right now.
- 33:28So, right now, folks, I could tell you
- 33:31that there has been a trend going on
- 33:34across our country where criminal teens are controlling
- 33:37our cities.
- 33:40They're controlling our cities, they're controlling many of
- 33:42the streets in our cities.
- 33:44So there's a new kind of crime wave
- 33:46sweeping across our country.
- 33:47And if you live in a city where
- 33:49this has happened, you know what I'm talking
- 33:50about.
- 33:52If you live in a small town where
- 33:54this has happened, you know what I'm talking
- 33:55about.
- 33:57And if you've lived in a city or
- 33:59town where this has not happened, wait.
- 34:02It's coming your way.
- 34:04It'll reach a neighborhood near you.
- 34:07Now, in this wave, I'm gonna call it
- 34:10a crime wave because it is picking traction,
- 34:12picking up traction all across the country.
- 34:15Hundreds of teens, not dozens, we're talking hundreds
- 34:18of teens, have taken over streets in major
- 34:21cities, and they're forcing businesses to close, they're
- 34:24disrupting traffic, and they're upending the lives of
- 34:27thousands of law abiding citizens.
- 34:30Now, how do they get together?
- 34:31How do they organize?
- 34:33Well, they don't pick up the phone and
- 34:34say, hey, you know what?
- 34:35Let's go down, uh let's go downtown Detroit
- 34:37or downtown uh Chicago and let's uh close
- 34:40down a street.
- 34:42Uh maybe let's uh break into a couple
- 34:44of stores and you know, we'll get together.
- 34:46Let's meet at so-and-so park.
- 34:47No, they don't do that now, folks.
- 34:49They've got the internet, they've got the internet,
- 34:52they're uh able to tell thousands of instruct
- 34:54thousands of teens to go to a location,
- 34:57and then they get together as what they
- 35:00Get together as what they call a flash
- 35:00call a flash mob, meaning they gather in
- 35:02mob, meaning they gather in certain areas of
- 35:03certain areas of a city.
- 35:04a city.
- 35:06There's some signals that go out over the
- 35:06There's some signals that go out over the
- 35:08uh mainstream, I'm sorry, over the uh internet,
- 35:08uh mainstream, I'm sorry, over the uh internet,
- 35:11and then boom, they're into action.
- 35:11and then boom, they're into action.
- 35:14Hundreds is gonna be growing into thousands.
- 35:14Hundreds is going to be growing into thousands.
- 35:18Now, recently, downtown Detroit, you all know where
- 35:18Now, recently, downtown Detroit, you all know where
- 35:20Detroit is, right?
- 35:20Detroit is, right?
- 35:22Michigan, down Detroit, they became one of the
- 35:22Michigan, down Detroit, they became one of the
- 35:24largest targets of what is now called a
- 35:25largest targets of what is now called a
- 35:27teen tech.
- 35:27teen takeover.
- 35:30See, now they have a name.
- 35:32These criminal enterprises, right?
- 35:34I opened up with saying criminal enterprises.
- 35:37These are.
- 35:38These are small enterprises.
- 35:39Well, now I should say large ones, right?
- 35:41Large criminal enterprises that uh come together and
- 35:44they create these flash mobs, they meet at
- 35:47one location, and they give each other some
- 35:50sort of signal through communicating via the internet,
- 35:53and boom, right into action.
- 35:56It becomes a teen takeover.
- 35:58So what are they taking over?
- 35:59Well, they're taking over streets, they're taking over
- 36:03cities, they're taking over neighborhoods, they're taking over
- 36:06stores, they're taking over your lives, folks, your
- 36:09lives, my life, your life, everybody's life.
- 36:12I mean, my goodness.
- 36:14We've seen some of this on the news
- 36:16media in Los Angeles, Detroit, Chicago, New York.
- 36:20They're taking over the streets, blocking traffic, closing
- 36:23down bridges, closing down business districts.
- 36:26And what are the police doing?
- 36:28The cops want to take care of it.
- 36:30They want to arrest them.
- 36:31They want to lock them up, they want
- 36:32to put them in jail.
- 36:34They want to prosecute them.
- 36:35No, no, no, you won't do that, says
- 36:37some of these politicians that are running these
- 36:38cities.
- 36:40We've got to bring in the mental health
- 36:42workers.
- 36:43We got to bring in the clinicians that
- 36:46know how to dig way deep into the
- 36:49minds of these young people who are frankly
- 36:51should be treated as young people.
- 36:54They don't know better.
- 36:56They grew up in tough times.
- 36:58Every single imaginable excuse to allow these lunatics,
- 37:01that's what they are.
- 37:04They're lunatics to run throughout our streets, our
- 37:08neighborhoods, and bring destruction to our cities and
- 37:11our towns and on a mass mass uh
- 37:15uh level, bring destruction to this country.
- 37:18The teen takeover in downtown Detroit, folks, listen
- 37:22to this, was organized by teenagers, right?
- 37:25There's not, and there's not any big, you
- 37:28know, intellectual criminal enterprise involved here.
- 37:31Just a bunch of teenagers that uh are
- 37:34frankly out of their minds, all right, that
- 37:36have seen that they're not gonna get punished.
- 37:39And so they're gonna go out, and in
- 37:41their view, this is fun.
- 37:43Breaking into stores, looting stores, uh slapping people
- 37:46around, uh jumping up on cars, blocking traffic,
- 37:48defying uh the law right in front of
- 37:51the police.
- 37:54We've got evidence of that, folks.
- 37:56Uh, this is fun to them these days.
- 37:58And they get away with it.
- 37:59So anyway, let's get back to Detroit, Michigan.
- 38:03So the teen takeover in downtown Detroit was
- 38:07organized one day, one day, after city officials
- 38:11and youth organizers urged the creation of what
- 38:16they call safer spaces for adolescents, safer spaces
- 38:20for teenagers, highlighting, listen to this, growing concerns
- 38:25about a nationwide rise in youth related disturbances.
- 38:29These are the teen takeovers.
- 38:32So here at the city officials in Detroit,
- 38:35they get together with what they call youth
- 38:37organizers.
- 38:39These are people who uh are whose intentions
- 38:41are probably good.
- 38:43They want to get these kids off the
- 38:45streets and do something uh that will point
- 38:47them into the direction of being constructive, not
- 38:49destructive.
- 38:51But that's nothing new, right?
- 38:52Folks, you heard me on many of my
- 38:55broadcasts talk about the solution today's problems are
- 38:57committee meetings.
- 39:00The solution to today and tomorrow's uh challenges
- 39:03that we are facing are committee meetings.
- 39:06We'll meet with governing body officials, who by
- 39:08the way created the problems.
- 39:10Uh then we'll meet with the pastors and
- 39:13we'll meet with the uh religious organizations, and
- 39:16uh then we'll meet with the business people.
- 39:18And hey, you know what?
- 39:20We'll even meet with the teenagers themselves.
- 39:22But you see, when they meet with the
- 39:24teenagers themselves, uh they no longer, meaning the
- 39:26uh organizers of these uh groups that are
- 39:29trying to solve the problems, they're no longer
- 39:31in control.
- 39:33The teens not only take over the streets,
- 39:35they take over the meetings.
- 39:37They take over all of these meetings and
- 39:39these uh committees that uh government agencies are
- 39:41trying to uh create in order to solve
- 39:43a problem that in my view is pretty
- 39:45easy to solve.
- 39:48It's called common sense.
- 39:49Commit a crime, you do the time.
- 39:51Simple as that.
- 39:52Let the police do what they were trained
- 39:54to do, protect them to serve.
- 39:56But we got those people out there who
- 39:59are saying, oh no, we can't allow that
- 40:01uh because uh the police are too tough.
- 40:04The kids fear the police, they don't respect
- 40:05the police.
- 40:06Well, why don't why do you why do
- 40:08you think they don't respect the police?
- 40:10It's because you've told them not to respect
- 40:11the police.
- 40:12You, who are you, you're asking me?
- 40:14You, you, Mr.
- 40:15and Mrs.
- 40:16elected official, you, not all of you, but
- 40:19uh far too many of you, obviously.
- 40:22So the teens involved in this disturbance, uh,
- 40:25you know, over there in Detroit and in
- 40:28other areas of the country, they are disregarding
- 40:30any efforts, and in this case in Detroit's
- 40:33uh the Safer Spaces Initiative.
- 40:36They don't want a safe space.
- 40:38They want a fun space.
- 40:40They want a space where they're able to
- 40:42do what they want to do when they
- 40:44want to do it without any consequences.
- 40:47So you've given them the space, my friends,
- 40:49who are trying to solve these problems through
- 40:51your committee meetings and and your organized uh
- 40:54efforts, which again I commend you for doing
- 40:56it, but it isn't working.
- 40:59What's the definition of insanity, folks?
- 41:02Doing the same thing over and over and
- 41:04over again and not getting the uh outcome
- 41:06that you're looking for, not getting the results
- 41:07you want.
- 41:10This is not only unique to Detroit, this
- 41:12is all over the country.
- 41:14I call it, well, people have called them
- 41:17the goodie, the goody good shoes, something like
- 41:19that, meaning, you know, kind of a uh
- 41:21saying that's these are the people that like
- 41:23to do good things, which is good, uh,
- 41:26but they try to do good things by
- 41:28not doing it in a good way.
- 41:30All right.
- 41:31To me, it is a bad way to
- 41:34have a constant drumbeat of committee meetings of
- 41:37commissions being put together to study the cause
- 41:40of uh criminal acts like teen takeovers, all
- 41:43right?
- 41:47So these are the goody good shoes, all
- 41:48right?
- 41:49That's all they do is walk around in
- 41:51their shoes uh in circles.
- 41:53All right, really, folks.
- 41:55I don't know, I'm kind of hard, but
- 41:56listen, I like to tell it like it
- 41:58is and uh be as transparent as I
- 41:59could.
- 42:00Transparent as I could, they're walking around in
- 42:01They're walking around in circles.
- 42:01circles.
- 42:02And but like I said, they that their
- 42:03But like I said, they that their intentions
- 42:04intentions are good, but by goodness, where are
- 42:04are good, but by goodness, where are you
- 42:06you going with this?
- 42:06going with this?
- 42:08So when we see this criminal phenomenon, as
- 42:08So when we see this criminal phenomenon, as
- 42:11they call it, it's not a phenomenon.
- 42:11they call it, it's not a phenomenon.
- 42:14I've seen it grow for years.
- 42:14I've seen it grow grow for years.
- 42:16Uh they they they start with these committee
- 42:16Uh uh, they they they start with these
- 42:18meetings, these town hall meetings, these city hall
- 42:18committee meetings, these town hall meetings, these city
- 42:21meetings, the mayors and the politicians get to
- 42:21hall meetings, the mayors and the politicians get
- 42:23the microphone, we're gonna do something about this,
- 42:23to the microphone, we're gonna do something about
- 42:25this, something about that.
- 42:25something about that.
- 42:28Nothing has
- 42:28Nothing has succeeded.
- 42:31The only thing that succeeds when crimes are
- 42:33being committed is to commit the criminals to
- 42:36prison.
- 42:38Oh, but they're teenagers, they're 13, 14 years
- 42:40old.
- 42:42You're gonna put them in jail.
- 42:43You're darn right I am.
- 42:45You're darn right we're gonna put them in
- 42:47jail for goodness sakes.
- 42:49And by the way, folks, I would like
- 42:50to add this.
- 42:53Hmm.
- 42:54Gonna be a little controversial when I'm about
- 42:56to say, but I'm gonna say it.
- 42:58How about putting their parents in jail?
- 43:01How about making their parents accountable for the
- 43:03actions of their children?
- 43:06Where do they learn prejudice?
- 43:09Racism, where do they learn uh to defy
- 43:10the police?
- 43:12Where do they learn to go out and
- 43:14commit these criminal acts?
- 43:16Hmm?
- 43:17Where do they learn this?
- 43:18Oh, there'll be people saying, well, you know,
- 43:20come on, uh, parents don't teach their kids
- 43:22to do these things.
- 43:24The kids just go out and do them.
- 43:26And the parents say it's okay, not by
- 43:28saying, hey, it's okay, Johnny to break into
- 43:31the store, but by saying nothing to Johnny,
- 43:33nothing at all to Johnny or to Susie
- 43:36or whatever the child's name is when they
- 43:39go out and commit these acts.
- 43:41Yeah.
- 43:42And worse than that, our government officials do
- 43:45the same thing.
- 43:48Say nothing and do nothing to them, other
- 43:51than say, come, come, Johnny, come, Susie, let's
- 43:53sit down and talk.
- 43:56There's a couch over there.
- 43:57Lay down on the couch.
- 43:59Mr.
- 44:00Psychologist, uh, Mrs.
- 44:02Sociologist, Mr.
- 44:04and Mrs.
- 44:04Therapists are going to come along and they're
- 44:06going to have a little talk.
- 44:07Or just lay down, relax, take it easy.
- 44:09Can I get you anything?
- 44:11You want me to go out and get
- 44:12you a hamburger?
- 44:13Is there anything I can do for you?
- 44:15And you know what?
- 44:16A kid is laughing all the way back
- 44:18out onto the streets to commit the same
- 44:19crimes.
- 44:21There are room, there is room, and there
- 44:24are places for psychologists and sociologists for mental
- 44:26health uh therapists.
- 44:29I believe in all that.
- 44:31So that's good.
- 44:31People need people to talk to.
- 44:33And at times they need professionals to talk
- 44:34to.
- 44:36Now I will say this.
- 44:37Sometimes the professionals need somebody to talk to,
- 44:39also.
- 44:41But that's besides the point.
- 44:42Fact of the matter is, again, I want
- 44:45you right now, just in your mind, in
- 44:47your mind, think about people walking in circles,
- 44:49walking in circles.
- 44:52Not for years, but but for decades, walking
- 44:54in circles.
- 44:57I heard the same song and dance in
- 44:59the 70s, not at this level where they're
- 45:01taking over the streets.
- 45:04A lot of unruly kids way back in
- 45:05the 70s and all kinds of crazy stuff
- 45:07in the 80s and in the 90s, but
- 45:09this is really bad.
- 45:11Really serious.
- 45:12Business are getting closed down.
- 45:14People are losing their livelihoods over this.
- 45:16And I've got to tell you else something
- 45:17else, folks.
- 45:19Uh doesn't anybody in government uh uh looking
- 45:21to solve these problems realize that people could
- 45:23die as a result of these teen street
- 45:26takeovers?
- 45:29Oh, they're not out there killing anybody.
- 45:31Well, I would say this.
- 45:33When an individual has a heart attack and
- 45:34they're in an ambulance and they can't get
- 45:36to the hospital because some of these maniacs
- 45:38are out on the street blocking traffic, they're
- 45:40not committing murder.
- 45:43Hmm.
- 45:43Think about that one, folks.
- 45:45But you see, the politicians, they don't think
- 45:47about this.
- 45:49What they think about is, hmm, what um
- 45:51what are the poll numbers in that district
- 45:54where the streets are being blocked?
- 45:56Oh, yeah, yeah, I'll tell you what, folks.
- 45:59You know what?
- 46:00A lot of political people, uh, they don't
- 46:01like me.
- 46:04Okay, they don't like this.
- 46:06They don't like this broadcast too bad, you
- 46:08know.
- 46:10Come on, too bad.
- 46:11And then they're a lot that like what
- 46:13we're saying, because they know it's the truth.
- 46:16I'll tell you uh other things, folks.
- 46:18I'd love to get some of them on
- 46:19my broadcast.
- 46:20Some of who?
- 46:21Some of these liberals, these progressives, some of
- 46:24these people walking in circles.
- 46:26You know, how about I'd like to go
- 46:28to their, you know, where they're walking in
- 46:30circles and kind of maybe put a little
- 46:31pathway in the in the circle and say,
- 46:33hey, look, come on over here to America
- 46:35Out Loud News.
- 46:37Let's sit down and let's have a conversation
- 46:39about what?
- 46:42About you, about why you allowed these things
- 46:44to happen.
- 46:46They will squirm, they will worm, they will
- 46:47get fiddledy.
- 46:49They're gonna immediately run where?
- 46:52You ready, folks?
- 46:53They're gonna run to their safe space.
- 46:55Yeah, politicians like that need a safe space.
- 46:59You know, I'm kind of going off the
- 47:00off the rails myself here.
- 47:02I'm supposed to be talking about uh the
- 47:04teen um the teen takeovers in our streets,
- 47:06but I got to the root cause of
- 47:08it, folks, didn't I?
- 47:10Yep.
- 47:11See, I don't walk in circles.
- 47:13Sometimes I don't know where I'm walking, but
- 47:14when I get there, you know what?
- 47:16We've accomplished something.
- 47:18We're not a committee meeting.
- 47:20Okay, folks, you know what?
- 47:21It's okay to have some fun.
- 47:23All right.
- 47:23This is radio, all right.
- 47:25You're in your car right now.
- 47:27Maybe you're at home, you're somewhere, maybe at
- 47:28a tough day.
- 47:29Well, I hope I lightened it up a
- 47:30little bit.
- 47:32Boy, I'll tell you, what a world, what
- 47:34a thing we have to do today, but
- 47:35thank God for America Out Loud.
- 47:37News, because uh we're out there, we're out
- 47:40there getting this message out.
- 47:42And uh I'll tell you what, I I
- 47:44know no other network that does what this
- 47:45network does.
- 47:47I mean, this is I mean, we do
- 47:49it from a level where we're not mean
- 47:50spirited or anything like that.
- 47:53We just tell the truth, and we try
- 47:55to present common sense to problems that need
- 47:58to be addressed, that have been addressed for
- 48:01not years but decades by those who've committed
- 48:04the problems, who've created the problems.
- 48:07So what's wrong with that?
- 48:09Nothing at all.
- 48:11But you know what?
- 48:12The typical, typical response, which is political more
- 48:16so than anything else, is applying a social
- 48:20remedy to what is fundamentally a criminal problem.
- 48:24And like I've said, a few decades ago,
- 48:25the reaction likely would have been very, very
- 48:27different.
- 48:29Most teens would not have considered behavior like
- 48:30this.
- 48:32Because parents, here we go again, parents, not
- 48:36politicians and social workers, enforced what?
- 48:40You ready for this, folks?
- 48:41Enforced accountability.
- 48:44That was that.
- 48:46I have a confession to make.
- 48:48Yep, I was a criminal when I was
- 48:50a little kid.
- 48:51Oh, yes, I was.
- 48:53I went into a store, candy store, with
- 48:56a friend of mine, and we decided, we
- 49:00Decided, all right, to uh steal some gum.
- 49:00decided, all right, to uh steal some gum.
- 49:04Yep.
- 49:04Yep.
- 49:05So we plotted this uh criminal act, and
- 49:05So we plotted this uh criminal act, and
- 49:08uh the friend I was with decided to
- 49:08uh the friend I was with decided to
- 49:10be the lookout, and I would be the
- 49:10be the lookout, and I would be the
- 49:13one taking the gum off the shelf.
- 49:13one taking the gum off the shelf.
- 49:16So he goes to the front door of
- 49:16So he goes to the front door of
- 49:18the store, and he's the lookout.
- 49:18the store, and he's the lookout.
- 49:20Little did I know, not only did he
- 49:20Little did I know, not only did he
- 49:22look out, but he got out.
- 49:22look out, but he got out.
- 49:24So I'm thinking he's at the front door
- 49:24So I'm thinking he's at the front door,
- 49:26looking out, making sure nobody's coming in and
- 49:26looking out, making sure nobody's coming in and
- 49:28kind of looking in the aisle.
- 49:28kind of looking in the aisles from that
- 49:31front door vantage point, and there it is.
- 49:33I grab a piece of gum, a little
- 49:36pack of gum, stick it in my pocket.
- 49:39Suddenly, as I'm looking around, I see this
- 49:41mirror with a set of eyes looking right
- 49:44at me from through the mirror.
- 49:47I start to run towards the front door,
- 49:48yelling towards my friend.
- 49:50He's nowhere to be found.
- 49:52The owner of the store grabs me.
- 49:56He grabs me and takes me into this
- 49:57back room.
- 49:59And the owner of the store, haven't I
- 50:02been a friend of my father's?
- 50:04Oh, oh, boy.
- 50:06Anyway, he calls the police.
- 50:10The police.
- 50:12Now, I'm kind of shaking in my pants
- 50:14because now the cops are involved.
- 50:16So this big cop comes in and um
- 50:18he asks me questions, and I said, Look,
- 50:20I just take me home.
- 50:23It's just a piece of gum.
- 50:24What's the big deal?
- 50:24What's the big deal, son?
- 50:26You know, folks, I think I was 13,
- 50:28maybe 12 or 13 years old.
- 50:29So anyway, uh the cop says, You come
- 50:32with me.
- 50:34I said, I want to go home.
- 50:35I don't want to come at you.
- 50:36The cop grabs me by my ear, right?
- 50:38By ear and pulls it.
- 50:40It hurt.
- 50:41So anyway, no handcuffs or nothing then, grabs
- 50:43me by the ear, puts me in the
- 50:45backseat of his police car, takes me home.
- 50:47I go home.
- 50:49All right, so there is my mother and
- 50:51my father, and the police officer explained to
- 50:53my father what I did.
- 50:56And you know what I did?
- 50:57I started a complaint about the cop grabbing
- 50:59my ear.
- 51:01And my father looks at the cop and
- 51:02says, Did you grab his ear?
- 51:04And the officer said, Yes, I did, Mr.
- 51:06Rogers.
- 51:07And my father says, What ear did you
- 51:08grab?
- 51:09And the cop says, his right ear.
- 51:12At that point, my father says, Officer, next
- 51:14time, do this.
- 51:16Grab both ears.
- 51:17I gotta tell you, my father almost lifted
- 51:19me off the ground, grabbing my ears, right?
- 51:22Oh, man, I'll tell you.
- 51:23And into the house I went, punished I
- 51:27got, and that ended my criminal career.
- 51:31That was it, folks.
- 51:33Never even thought of shoplifting again.
- 51:36Why?
- 51:37Because dad and mom held me accountable.
- 51:41And they made sure from that point on,
- 51:44I would never again commit such a criminal
- 51:46act, or I would end I would always
- 51:49respect the police.
- 51:52That's it.
- 51:52No beatings, none of this stuff like that.
- 51:55But my dad and my mother gave me
- 51:57the message.
- 51:58You do that today, folks, to your kid.
- 52:00You've got Difus, Division of Youth and Family
- 52:03Services involved, you got child protective services involved,
- 52:05you've got 10, 15 lawyers involved.
- 52:08You have the kid hiring some civil rights
- 52:09group.
- 52:11I mean, on and on and on and
- 52:11on.
- 52:12You know, that's why we are where we
- 52:13are today.
- 52:14Now, why again is this happening like this
- 52:16today?
- 52:18Because of politicians, right?
- 52:21Because of people in office, who, by the
- 52:24way, some of us electoral office rather be
- 52:27more interested in the uh political climate, the
- 52:30polls instead of public safety.
- 52:33What do you think of that?
- 52:34Hmm.
- 52:35Anyway, so the teens have not only, when
- 52:37I think about it, they've not only taken
- 52:39over the streets, they've taken over the entire
- 52:42criminal justice system.
- 52:44They've taken over their families.
- 52:46They've taken everything over.
- 52:48And they consider that fun.
- 52:50Not too much fun.
- 52:51We got to turn the tide, folks.
- 52:52We got to turn the tides.
- 52:54So anyway, uh, you got hundreds of kids
- 52:56now taking over the streets in Detroit.
- 52:58Uh they're posting this stuff live on the
- 53:01internet, drawing more teens to the area.
- 53:04So finally, finally the Detroit police arrive.
- 53:08And they were outnumbered.
- 53:10And they did the best they could to
- 53:12regain control of downtown Detroit.
- 53:15There were a lot of reports of assaults,
- 53:17cars being smashed, businesses being smashed up, and
- 53:20even at one point, gunfire.
- 53:23Yep.
- 53:24There are no reports of a six, I'm
- 53:26sorry, of a significant number of teens that
- 53:28have been arrested.
- 53:30I'm sure some of them have been detained,
- 53:32but none arrested and sent to jail, sent
- 53:34to a judge.
- 53:37I guess they were just detained and uh
- 53:40maybe uh uh some way somehow released.
- 53:44I mean, there were no really no reports
- 53:47of anybody being taken into custody and arrested.
- 53:50So if they were later later released, they
- 53:52were probably right back on those streets.
- 53:55Now, there have been similar teen takeovers that
- 53:57have been reported in Atlanta, Chicago, and Washington,
- 53:59D.C.
- 54:02Well, how do I know that?
- 54:04Because when uh some of the political people
- 54:06in Detroit were asked by the press why
- 54:09this is happening in Detroit, they pivoted.
- 54:11They pivoted, and they began to say, hey,
- 54:13look, it's not happening just here.
- 54:15It's happening in Chicago, Atlanta, and Washington, D.C.,
- 54:19and other cities around the country.
- 54:22So they're telling the press, don't worry about
- 54:24Detroit.
- 54:25It's not just here, but and it's not
- 54:27an isolated problem.
- 54:29It's all over the country.
- 54:30That's the answer of politicians.
- 54:31Hey, don't look at us.
- 54:32Look at those other cities.
- 54:33They got the same problem.
- 54:35You know, uh and the police have said,
- 54:37look at these events, these team takeovers, they
- 54:39do function like flash mobs.
- 54:42There's a whole new generation.
- 54:43And they're often folks, overwhelming officers, and they
- 54:45turn violent.
- 54:47So the trend is spreading across the country
- 54:50and even overseas.
- 54:52So it's not unique to the United States.
- 54:55They're taking over the world, folks.
- 54:57Teenagers taking over the world.
- 55:00And now they want, they, meaning there are
- 55:01liberals and progressives in this country that want
- 55:03to give them the right to vote.
- 55:05Oh my goodness, yeah.
- 55:07They want to bring the age to vote
- 55:10from uh 18 down to 12.
- 55:15Some people are actually talking about that.
- 55:18Actually talking about that.
- 55:20Now, in Chicago, teens ran through the streets
- 55:23and climbed under parked cars.
- 55:25Some of those cars were police cars near
- 55:26Tampa, Florida.
- 55:27Deputies had a rush in and break up
- 55:29fights as they flooded local businesses.
- 55:31Jacksonville, Florida, they actually uh fought each other
- 55:34in front of law enforcement, and in some
- 55:37cases fought the cops.
- 55:40So as all these cities debate how to
- 55:43respond to these gatherings, community groups are oppressing
- 55:46and come uh uh what they call a
- 55:49competing narrative, one that could shape whether officials
- 55:52act decisively or continue to hesitate.
- 55:56And you know what that means, folks?
- 55:57They're still continuing to debate how they're gonna
- 55:59solve these problems.
- 56:00They're going to solve these problems.
- 56:01They still continue to walk in a circle.
- 56:01They still continue to walk in a circle.
- 56:05Round and round they go.
- 56:05Round and round they go, wherever it stops.
- 56:07Wherever it stops, nobody knows.
- 56:09Nobody knows.
- 56:10Okay, folks.
- 56:10Okay, folks, uh, as far as I'm concerned,
- 56:11Uh as far as I'm concerned, it's time
- 56:13it's time to connect these teens with the
- 56:13to connect these teens with the criminal justice
- 56:15criminal justice system and maybe even introduce their
- 56:15system and maybe even introduce their parents to
- 56:17parents to some judges.
- 56:17some judges.
- 56:19What do you think of that?
- 56:19What do you think of that?
- 56:20Proverbs 22 6.
- 56:20Proverbs 22 6 train up a child in
- 56:22Train up a child in the way he
- 56:23the way he should go.
- 56:24should go.
- 56:26Even when he is old, he will not
- 56:26Even when he is old, he will not
- 56:27depart from it.
- 56:28depart from it.
- 56:30That's what my mom and dad did, and
- 56:32I did not depart from the way they
- 56:34brought me up to be a citizen that
- 56:37contributes to the United States of America, to
- 56:39the future of our country.
- 56:42One way you do that, you stay out
- 56:43of trouble.
- 56:45All right, folks, God bless you and God
- 56:47bless America.
