Latest / The Paul Barron Crypto Show / Final Silver Crash Before Tokenization Rally?🚀Denario CEO INTERVIEW🔥
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Let's dive into it today. Could we be seeing the
- 0:02Speaker 1: final silver crash starting to hit the market. We'll break
- 0:05Speaker 1: it down for you. Don't want to miss it. Let's
- 0:06Speaker 1: get into it quickly. Of course, I do want to
- 0:08Speaker 1: thank our sponsor and that is Tangum. Did you guys
- 0:11Speaker 1: know that you can actually hold tokenized gold within your
- 0:15Speaker 1: self custy wallet. You can do that by just jumping
- 0:17Speaker 1: over to tangum dot com. You can of course get
- 0:20Speaker 1: started over there. This is one of the best self
- 0:21Speaker 1: custody wallets out there when it comes to tokenized assets crypto.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Very easy to set up, three minutes, I would attest
- 0:29Speaker 1: to that, super simple and always get the three cards
- 0:32Speaker 1: set that we have a backup, very simple. Use the
- 0:35Speaker 1: link down below. It does help us out. Before we
- 0:37Speaker 1: bring on our guest today from Denario, I want to
- 0:39Speaker 1: go over to the silver chart just to give you
- 0:41Speaker 1: guys an insight on what's been happening. Obviously, we've been
- 0:43Speaker 1: seeing gold start to adjust. Silver down almost seven percent
- 0:47Speaker 1: right now on the daily this course. Looking at the
- 0:49Speaker 1: silver overall chart and this retlacement we believe is this
- 0:53Speaker 1: is healthy, so a potential pullback then a little bit
- 0:56Speaker 1: of a sideways bounce and then another five thousand dollar target.
- 1:00Speaker 1: This is in reference to gold, So what is this
- 1:02Speaker 1: going to look like for silver? Obviously we want to
- 1:06Speaker 1: learn a little bit more about that, so we asked
- 1:08Speaker 1: the Donario team to come on and I've got the CEO,
- 1:11Speaker 1: Young Hanley, who is coming in from Donario. Great to
- 1:13Speaker 1: have you.
- 1:14Speaker 2: I thank you have for having me here. You look
- 1:16Speaker 2: at the.
- 1:16Speaker 1: Pullback right now that we're seeing within silver, and also
- 1:20Speaker 1: just the explosion that we've seen in tokenized commodity commodities
- 1:25Speaker 1: over this last six months. Is this something that you
- 1:28Speaker 1: would anticipate as a normal process in a market like
- 1:33Speaker 1: what we're dealing with silver, because this is kind of
- 1:34Speaker 1: a new thing for silver to see these kind of numbers.
- 1:37Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, I think still we are in a
- 1:42Speaker 3: phase where we have multi year deficit. The mind supply
- 1:45Speaker 3: and the recycling isn't keeping up with the demand from
- 1:49Speaker 3: the industry and the investment. Actually, like a year ago,
- 1:53Speaker 3: I always promoted that we see this huge demand or
- 1:58Speaker 3: increase of prices, and I think what we just faced
- 2:02Speaker 3: in the last three days with some correction, as you mentioned,
- 2:06Speaker 3: it is healthy, but still I got constant costs that
- 2:11Speaker 3: people want to buy silver, so they want to buy dips.
- 2:15Speaker 2: There are new.
- 2:16Speaker 3: Players coming into the civil because they now see that
- 2:19Speaker 3: in the media that civil price is taking up.
- 2:22Speaker 2: Sure.
- 2:22Speaker 1: As far as the current state of the supply crisis,
- 2:26Speaker 1: that has been explained by analysts and a lot of
- 2:29Speaker 1: people in the silver market. We've had many guys on
- 2:32Speaker 1: our show that have talked about this for quite some time,
- 2:35Speaker 1: that this was coming and that it is now here.
- 2:38Speaker 1: The supply crisis. You look at what has happened within
- 2:42Speaker 1: the London exchanges.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Is this real?
- 2:45Speaker 1: Do you feel like there is still a supply crisis
- 2:48Speaker 1: going on with silver in the market.
- 2:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:50Speaker 3: I think we had in the past a lot of
- 2:52Speaker 3: speculators on falling silver prices, and we know that the
- 2:57Speaker 3: silver market has been manipulated in the last five six years,
- 3:02Speaker 3: so I think that was kind of coming, especially with
- 3:06Speaker 3: the industry demand. What we see with new technologies or
- 3:11Speaker 3: new products like the solid state batteries, let's say, more
- 3:15Speaker 3: sustainable and green tech sector coming up, and that increases demand.
- 3:20Speaker 1: Why do you think we have not seen the tokenized
- 3:23Speaker 1: silver beyond I know Denario of course is tokenizing silver,
- 3:27Speaker 1: but beyond Denario and a handful of others. I mean,
- 3:30Speaker 1: you've got to other paso, some of the biggest suppliers
- 3:33Speaker 1: out there in terms of digital assets that have tokenized gold.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Why have we not seen this in the silver market.
- 3:38Speaker 1: What do you think it is?
- 3:39Speaker 3: Well, first of all, the gold market way bigger. I
- 3:42Speaker 3: mean it's two hundred times bigger than silver. So silver
- 3:45Speaker 3: is still a niche although everyone knows because of civil
- 3:48Speaker 3: coins from the anciente time how it was used and
- 3:52Speaker 3: the silver ware and so forth. But still like as
- 3:56Speaker 3: an investment and as a store of value, gold is
- 3:59Speaker 3: way more prominence. So that's why we also see a
- 4:02Speaker 3: lot more go token projects than silver project. Everyone says,
- 4:06Speaker 3: like the volatilities is too high, so that's why they
- 4:10Speaker 3: don't want to keep silver put it in a portfolios.
- 4:13Speaker 3: Now with all the silver price increase, plus we as
- 4:17Speaker 3: a token azed silver, we are actually really focusing on
- 4:22Speaker 3: physical backed token. So we our token is that you
- 4:27Speaker 3: own you are the legal owner of the of the
- 4:30Speaker 3: silver on the length silver.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm looking at your website scenario dot Swiss and
- 4:37Speaker 1: you've got the mobile app, the browser wallet, even the
- 4:40Speaker 1: web three side of things where you can kind of
- 4:42Speaker 1: look at different features and advantages. First of all, how
- 4:46Speaker 1: are you guys tokenizing silver today? What's the process?
- 4:50Speaker 3: I want to emphasize that actually we tokenize silver granulate
- 4:54Speaker 3: and not silver bars or coins, which are bank precious
- 4:57Speaker 3: metal and silver granules are classified as industry material has
- 5:02Speaker 3: a few advantages. It can not be confiscated by the
- 5:06Speaker 3: government and it's more robust against compared to bullions. We
- 5:12Speaker 3: store than physical first in our high security storage and
- 5:16Speaker 3: a free port, and then once we have the confirmation
- 5:21Speaker 3: that it is stored in our storage, then we tokenize
- 5:25Speaker 3: or mint our tokens. And with that here, based on
- 5:30Speaker 3: the Swiss deality law which exists since twenty twenty one,
- 5:34Speaker 3: it is possible that we transfer the legal ownership through token.
- 5:38Speaker 2: So you, as a token holder, you.
- 5:40Speaker 3: Are actually the legal owner of the underlying physical silver
- 5:46Speaker 3: and have always the claim to redeem it.
- 5:49Speaker 1: So you can redeem physical silver. Do you guarantee delivery
- 5:53Speaker 1: if somebody wanted to redeem it?
- 5:55Speaker 2: Sure, because it's always over collateralized.
- 5:59Speaker 3: So we have the silver first and then mint the token,
- 6:02Speaker 3: so we have we are transparent that we have proof
- 6:05Speaker 3: of reserve as an oracle on chains and you always
- 6:09Speaker 3: can verify how much silver we have and how much
- 6:13Speaker 3: token supply it is available.
- 6:15Speaker 1: All right, I'm looking at your site right here. This
- 6:17Speaker 1: is the correlation to DS, which is the token ied silver.
- 6:21Speaker 1: You can do this on UNI swap guys. I'll show
- 6:23Speaker 1: you this in a second, but you can see the
- 6:26Speaker 1: price right there at fifty four to eighty last refresh
- 6:28Speaker 1: right there. As we look at this and within the
- 6:33Speaker 1: blockchains that are being used, you got Polygon in there, Sonya, BnB, etc.
- 6:37Speaker 1: So if you want to find you can describe that
- 6:38Speaker 1: smart contract right there, stick it into us to unicewap
- 6:42Speaker 1: and be able to track this one down. But explain
- 6:45Speaker 1: how the price is calculated, because when we were looking
- 6:48Speaker 1: at this, say a comparison over here on unie swap,
- 6:52Speaker 1: doing an exact swap here, there's a slight arbitrage variance here.
- 6:57Speaker 1: Is that normal?
- 6:59Speaker 2: Is? What? Why are we.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Seeing two different things? Is it just the update?
- 7:02Speaker 2: What's going on? Yeah?
- 7:04Speaker 3: Actually, I mean the union we just we are in
- 7:07Speaker 3: the process of preparing to put more liquidity into the unis.
- 7:13Speaker 3: So that's why there we have a lot more very
- 7:16Speaker 3: volatility on the price because depending on the demand, we
- 7:22Speaker 3: have a TV of one point a bit more than
- 7:25Speaker 3: one point four million on silver so we are still
- 7:29Speaker 3: in a more rampop phase where we increase our supply
- 7:34Speaker 3: on primary market. We try to conclude by mid November
- 7:38Speaker 3: to have enough liquidity that the price also is equal
- 7:43Speaker 3: to our DC price on the website.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm looking at defai Lama right here to validate
- 7:48Speaker 1: what you're claiming here in terms of the growing TVL.
- 7:51Speaker 2: So that's good.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Now, are you planning to make this available on other
- 7:56Speaker 1: chains beyond Polygon B and B et cetera, like Avalanche,
- 8:00Speaker 1: et cetera.
- 8:01Speaker 2: Actually, we are multi chain, so where we.
- 8:03Speaker 3: See the need and demand of our token to beyond
- 8:08Speaker 3: that chain, we will deploy. So we own the process
- 8:12Speaker 3: how to tokenize the technology. We can really bridge and
- 8:16Speaker 3: deploy it on any any change. But maybe on that
- 8:20Speaker 3: question you just mentioned before on the pricing, I want
- 8:24Speaker 3: to also emphasize that our price has also a markup
- 8:29Speaker 3: on on the silverspop price. But unlike other let's say
- 8:35Speaker 3: gold or silver project, we don't have recurring fees. Means
- 8:39Speaker 3: for custody, insurance and management fees. There is no no
- 8:43Speaker 3: recurring and the value of the token remain stable.
- 8:48Speaker 2: There is no slow leakage of the value.
- 8:52Speaker 1: I see, is there plans to move d s C
- 8:55Speaker 1: onto tradable you know, centralized exchanges or on the DEXes
- 9:00Speaker 1: you know, in the future.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Yeah, definitely.
- 9:02Speaker 3: I mean I think everyone knows that before put it
- 9:06Speaker 3: on a secondary market, we need to have a substantial
- 9:11Speaker 3: and relevant size of TV on the primary market. And
- 9:15Speaker 3: since it is physical back, we cannot just mint tokens
- 9:19Speaker 3: one million of tokens and then put it on the exchange.
- 9:23Speaker 2: So that's why we need.
- 9:25Speaker 3: To have purchased like really, it's privacys that they believe
- 9:30Speaker 3: that this is the future.
- 9:32Speaker 2: It's an innovative product.
- 9:34Speaker 3: With that ticket size, we increase our TV and we
- 9:38Speaker 3: will also then put it on the secondary market on
- 9:40Speaker 3: central exchange. We are in constant discussions already, but I
- 9:44Speaker 3: mean it comes up for free, so that's why we
- 9:46Speaker 3: are looking for a good economic timing.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Yeah, all right. A couple of questions first is supply.
- 9:53Speaker 1: How do you guys go out to the market to
- 9:55Speaker 1: be able to pull in supply. You're mentioning this is
- 9:58Speaker 1: industrial grade, so where are your market makers?
- 10:02Speaker 3: Yeah, we work with a partner and precious metal partner
- 10:06Speaker 3: trading partner here in Switzerland is also one of our shareholders.
- 10:11Speaker 3: They are an established partner since more than fifteen years.
- 10:16Speaker 3: They're doing as a core business focus on silver, but
- 10:20Speaker 3: they have also gold product or a gold granary product,
- 10:23Speaker 3: but the main product is silver. So that's why we
- 10:26Speaker 3: work with them together and they have always an access
- 10:29Speaker 3: and also ensure that they can also redeem it but
- 10:33Speaker 3: also sell it back to the refinery. So all this
- 10:37Speaker 3: silver grinder CROM comes from recycling refineries, so it is
- 10:42Speaker 3: always high quality and four nines purity.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Let me ask you about this because this is something
- 10:49Speaker 1: we're seeing quite a bit on in terms of yield opportunities.
- 10:52Speaker 1: This happens within the gold market quite a bit. Here's
- 10:55Speaker 1: PACSG kind of talking about this. Any opportunities where we
- 10:59Speaker 1: could see yield opportunities in DeFi for DSc coming down
- 11:02Speaker 1: the pipe.
- 11:03Speaker 3: Yes, we did already approve of concept with collateralized borrowing
- 11:08Speaker 3: protocol and also that was also the reason that from
- 11:12Speaker 3: day one we wanted to be optimally integrated in the
- 11:15Speaker 3: defile space. So that's why we came up with no
- 11:20Speaker 3: recurry fees because especially if in lending and borrowing, it
- 11:25Speaker 3: is crucial that you have a stable value and always
- 11:29Speaker 3: the same amount. That's why we said Okay, we don't
- 11:32Speaker 3: have recurry fees, and it can be integrated and used
- 11:37Speaker 3: in the DeFi space.
- 11:38Speaker 1: Yeah. Here in the US, Florida, the state we're in,
- 11:42Speaker 1: passed the law here recently where they're recognizing gold and
- 11:46Speaker 1: silver coins as legal tender where it can be used
- 11:49Speaker 1: to you know, for all sorts and people have to
- 11:51Speaker 1: be able to accept it. Do you feel like this
- 11:53Speaker 1: is going to pressure the opportunity for boosting both silver
- 11:58Speaker 1: and big and gold in general, especially if you see
- 12:02Speaker 1: other states starting to kind of adopt this model.
- 12:05Speaker 3: We will see how much the impact will be on
- 12:08Speaker 3: the market and also on the civil price. But I think,
- 12:11Speaker 3: I mean, we know that silver coins how it is,
- 12:15Speaker 3: was used in the ancient time. It was the trusted
- 12:18Speaker 3: method of payment. The adoption comes especially in those countries
- 12:22Speaker 3: with high inflation, with hyper inflation. They see there is
- 12:27Speaker 3: a real problem there, right, and then that's a real
- 12:29Speaker 3: solution to actually a good solution to solve that. And
- 12:34Speaker 3: I think, yeah, depending a bit on the outlook of
- 12:39Speaker 3: all these countries in the emerging markets, then we will
- 12:43Speaker 3: see how much impact they will have on the civil price.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Talk to me about the quality or the safeness of
- 12:50Speaker 1: holding the physical asset here in the US versus like
- 12:54Speaker 1: what you guys are doing there in Switzerland. Is there
- 12:57Speaker 1: a difference between US and Swiss silver.
- 13:01Speaker 3: I mean, we saw in the last few months with
- 13:05Speaker 3: all these changes of terrorists or introducing terrorists, and then
- 13:09Speaker 3: you see that one is like on one day we
- 13:12Speaker 3: move everything from one country to the other, and so
- 13:16Speaker 3: that's definitely I think one of the impact. But I
- 13:19Speaker 3: mean Switzerland is well known as a safe and stable political,
- 13:25Speaker 3: stable environment. So that's also one of the reasons why
- 13:29Speaker 3: already now we hold a lot of valuable assets not
- 13:34Speaker 3: only precious matter, but our arts and so forth here
- 13:37Speaker 3: in Switzerland. For global customers, it is maybe also a
- 13:40Speaker 3: good consideration to diversify geographically your holdings, not only having
- 13:47Speaker 3: everything in the US but also have something here in Switzerland.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Well, that's always a good, you know, a good strategy
- 13:53Speaker 1: diversification and also just leveraging I shouldn't say leverage, but
- 13:57Speaker 1: hedging against a lot of these volatility scenarios that play
- 14:01Speaker 1: out in these geo economic conditions that we're dealing with.
- 14:06Speaker 1: Price for silver by end of year, do you think
- 14:08Speaker 1: we're going to continue to see this upward trend here
- 14:11Speaker 1: or what is your anticipation.
- 14:13Speaker 3: I think yes, I mean, the trend is definitely not
- 14:18Speaker 3: stopped yet. Every correction is healthy. But again, I mean
- 14:24Speaker 3: there are people who just waiting to enter this market
- 14:29Speaker 3: and buy silver. I'm very cautious with price codes, but
- 14:33Speaker 3: at some point I think we also reach a three
- 14:37Speaker 3: digit price.
- 14:38Speaker 2: The question is when, but not only Yeah.
- 14:42Speaker 1: Well, a lot of people looking at silver of course
- 14:44Speaker 1: as a critical one as far as the tokenization side
- 14:47Speaker 1: of thing, because this is the thing we don't understand
- 14:49Speaker 1: is why it hasn't been tokenized already and really pushed
- 14:52Speaker 1: down into the market at a scale where there's many
- 14:55Speaker 1: products like yours out there. Do you think that tokenized
- 14:59Speaker 1: silver at scale will increase adoption in terms of an
- 15:04Speaker 1: investment portfolio item?
- 15:06Speaker 3: I mean in the financial traditional financial sector, we see
- 15:09Speaker 3: also this trend to tokenize everything, right, yeah, and also
- 15:14Speaker 3: precious metal or particular silver and go and silver. It
- 15:19Speaker 3: makes sense because it's big, large clumby sizes, and to
- 15:24Speaker 3: have the and tokenized version means it is physical there
- 15:29Speaker 3: you're the legal owner, but you keep the ownership in
- 15:32Speaker 3: a new wallet who has no other party access. So
- 15:38Speaker 3: and on top of that we can add new features
- 15:41Speaker 3: like the defied integration to turn it to a year
- 15:44Speaker 3: pairing product, but also lend your silver with just a
- 15:50Speaker 3: few clicks. Plus on top of that, we can add
- 15:54Speaker 3: the convenience to pay for in your daily life for
- 15:57Speaker 3: goods and services. So that's why I think organization we'll
- 16:01Speaker 3: be just an evolution of the next way for the
- 16:04Speaker 3: next phase of digitalization.
- 16:06Speaker 1: Yeah, well, I'm looking at the token is commodity market
- 16:10Speaker 1: CAAP right now three point sixty four billion. Interesting here
- 16:13Speaker 1: is the Ethereum activity, but even the Plume network. I
- 16:16Speaker 1: know you guys are on a bmb's slight, but this
- 16:19Speaker 1: is the growth that we're seeing in terms of total
- 16:21Speaker 1: active addresses out there within it nineteen thousand active addresses,
- 16:25Speaker 1: one hundred and fifty two thousand holders, which is up
- 16:29Speaker 1: six for almost seven percent from just thirty days ago.
- 16:32Speaker 1: So maybe that is an indicator here of more activity
- 16:35Speaker 1: coming in Jong Haun. It's been great having you on
- 16:39Speaker 1: the show. Thank you so much for coming in today.
- 16:41Speaker 1: We appreciate it.
- 16:42Speaker 2: Thank you very much. Paul.
- 16:43Speaker 1: You bet all right, You guys, make sure we're going
- 16:45Speaker 1: to be covering a little bit more around some of
- 16:47Speaker 1: these precious metals products because they do have correlation to
- 16:51Speaker 1: what's going on in the broader market, especially when it
- 16:54Speaker 1: comes to crypto and in general, bitcoin, ethereum, et cetera.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Make sure and jump into the Diamond Circle. That's a
- 16:59Speaker 1: place where you can additional content from us. We leave
- 17:01Speaker 1: a link down below. Catch me out there on X
