- 1:25Speaker 7: Well, maybe just to half a dream one.
- 1:28Speaker 6: What's records on Wild my Day?
- 1:32Speaker 1: That's Willie Wndora Jones.
- 1:34Speaker 10: We're gonna be visiting Lenora Jones here in just a
- 1:36Speaker 10: few moments, no caps to be I can't wait to
- 1:40Speaker 10: tell her what I think about this song, I wish
- 1:42Speaker 10: and others. This portion of the program is brought to
- 1:45Speaker 10: you by Superior Air Repair.
- 1:47Speaker 1: We're also going to hear from Bucky here in just
- 1:49Speaker 1: a minute. UH SEC All SEC team, the coaches team
- 1:58Speaker 1: UH came out today. Casey Conceptsion, Trey Zoon, and Cassius
- 2:06Speaker 1: Howell all on the first team for the Aggies. In fact,
- 2:12Speaker 1: Casey Conceptsio is everywhere as a receiver, all purpose, kick returner,
- 2:19Speaker 1: punt returner, as he should be. I'm trying to figure
- 2:25Speaker 1: out why Toy and York was a third team selection,
- 2:28Speaker 1: and I won't go down that deep, but I just
- 2:31Speaker 1: had to look on there and I go, how's that possible?
- 2:35Speaker 1: But apparently it'd be possible now if I'm an Astros fan,
- 2:39Speaker 1: I'm a little concerned with this story. The Astros have
- 2:43Speaker 1: announced a sale of three minor league affiliates, including sugar Land,
- 2:49Speaker 1: Corpus Christie and the Fayetteville Woodpeckers, sold to Diamond Baseball Holdings,
- 3:00Speaker 1: organization that owns and operates select minor league baseball clubs.
- 3:06Speaker 1: The release states the three clubs will remain affiliates of
- 3:10Speaker 1: the Astros will continue to be guided by their local leadership.
- 3:18Speaker 1: They say Diamond Baseball is the perfect partner for the Astros.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Not only do they have a successful track record, they
- 3:28Speaker 1: also are committed to a best in class local fan experience.
- 3:33Speaker 1: According to Jim Craig, we remain committed to these communities
- 3:40Speaker 1: as our affiliate partners, and we look forward to continuing
- 3:43Speaker 1: to grow the game of baseball. I'm not exactly sure
- 3:50Speaker 1: other than cash, I don't know. Now they have to
- 4:00Speaker 1: get the consent of Major League Baseball, satisfy some other
- 4:05Speaker 1: conditions before the close, and we'll see what happens. I
- 4:14Speaker 1: find it strange, you know, I don't follow that the
- 4:19Speaker 1: minor leagues that closely, but I find it a little strange.
- 4:24Speaker 1: I can't think it's anything other than a cash grab.
- 4:28Speaker 1: I'm sure Scott Clintonon will have a totally different explanation
- 4:32Speaker 1: for me tomorrow, other than his franchise is just cratering
- 4:38Speaker 1: right before his very eyes. Mike Halco is one of
- 4:42Speaker 1: twelve finalists for the Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year.
- 4:45Speaker 1: He's on several other There didn't used to be fifteen
- 4:48Speaker 1: Coach of the Year finalists. But there didn't used to be,
- 4:51Speaker 1: you know, fifteen different Awards shows that ESPN created at
- 4:54Speaker 1: the end of the college football season. Either but it
- 4:57Speaker 1: is a group now I'm going to tell you alphabetical order,
- 5:01Speaker 1: besides Elcho, Bob Chesney, James Madison, Kurt Signetti at Indiana,
- 5:06Speaker 1: Ryan day at Ohio State. By the way, I voted
- 5:09Speaker 1: on this today. When the final announcement comes out a
- 5:15Speaker 1: week from today, I'll let you know my either four
- 5:20Speaker 1: votes or five votes. I'm there somewhere, Ryan day, Tony
- 5:25Speaker 1: Elliott Virginia, Marcus Freeman Notre Dame, Clark Lee Vanderbilt, Jerry
- 5:29Speaker 1: Mcatkinnesaw State, Joey McGuire at Tech, Jim More at Yukon,
- 5:33Speaker 1: Kirby Smart at Georgia, and John Sumrall at Tulane, all
- 5:38Speaker 1: of those actually on the list. Several media outlets reporting
- 5:47Speaker 1: that tight Ends coach Derek Shay will come from Kentucky
- 5:52Speaker 1: to replace Christian Ellsworth at A and M, who is
- 5:55Speaker 1: going with Colin Kleine to his staff at Kansas State.
- 6:01Speaker 1: Ole miss confirmed that several of the offensive coaches are
- 6:06Speaker 1: coming with Charlie rott Weiss to help them in their
- 6:11Speaker 1: CFP preparations. Tight Ends coach Joe Cox receivers coach George McDonald,
- 6:16Speaker 1: assistant quarterbacks coach Dane Stevens, slot receivers coach Sawrier Jordan
- 6:22Speaker 1: will all be part of the ole Miss staff as
- 6:25Speaker 1: long as they are in the playoffs, and then they
- 6:28Speaker 1: will rejoin Lane Kiffin at LSU and Kendall Briles apparently
- 6:36Speaker 1: leaving TCU's offensive coordinator to go with Shane Beemer at
- 6:42Speaker 1: South Carolina basketball Tonight the V game the Jimmy V
- 6:49Speaker 1: Classic Madison Square Garden, eighteenth rank Florida, number five Yukon.
- 6:54Speaker 1: That is at eight o'clock on espen So that should
- 6:59Speaker 1: be a good one. The Aggies back in action against
- 7:03Speaker 1: Jacksonville Jacksonville State. Jacksonville home of Artists Gilmore, home of
- 7:09Speaker 1: the Final Four. Jacksonville and artist Gilmore went to the
- 7:13Speaker 1: Final Four, went to the finals, lost to UCLA in
- 7:16Speaker 1: nineteen seventy. I don't think the Dolphins have been back
- 7:20Speaker 1: since then. I could be wrong about that, but they'll
- 7:23Speaker 1: be here six o'clock on Sunday evening. So you got
- 7:28Speaker 1: that going for you, which is nice. Let me see
- 7:32Speaker 1: if I've got one other thing. I was looking at.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Other basketball in Illinois. Oho State doesn't do much for me,
- 7:41Speaker 1: although Illinois is very good. I'm just not It's like
- 7:45Speaker 1: Big ten football. I'm not a huge fan of Big
- 7:48Speaker 1: ten basketball. There are a lot of huge guys in
- 7:53Speaker 1: the Big Michigan is just ginormous. If you haven't seen
- 7:56Speaker 1: them play, they are gi NORMOUSMU had that seven to
- 8:01Speaker 1: two kid that A and M had some problems with.
- 8:04Speaker 1: I mean, I think Michigan has about four of those guys.
- 8:06Speaker 1: It's pretty amazing. All right, what we're gonna do right
- 8:13Speaker 1: now is we're gonna hear from Bucky. Now, this was
- 8:16Speaker 1: from his radio show last night. I think he does
- 8:19Speaker 1: on Mondays on WTAW. So we pulled out a little
- 8:24Speaker 1: segment of Bucky and it sounds a little like this.
- 8:32Speaker 8: The best way I could put yesterday was a roller coaster.
- 8:36Speaker 8: Would that be an accurate description? But seven and three
- 8:38Speaker 8: after ten games? One progress report, two we'll get into
- 8:42Speaker 8: those games.
- 8:43Speaker 11: Yeah, we'd be feeling great if we could have closed
- 8:45Speaker 11: the last forty seconds of that game. I mean yesterday,
- 8:47Speaker 11: we would have picked up three road win first Power
- 8:50Speaker 11: five opponents. Not easy to do, and you know one
- 8:54Speaker 11: of those in the last game. Probably the best team
- 8:56Speaker 11: we played SMU. I think they beat Oklahoma State by
- 8:58Speaker 11: double figures in the SIKS ambition, So good team should
- 9:03Speaker 11: have pulled it out, and if we did, we'd have
- 9:05Speaker 11: a great chance to come back here, get these next
- 9:08Speaker 11: three at home, finish to eleven.
- 9:11Speaker 4: And two and non league and two.
- 9:13Speaker 11: Losses coming out with without McKenzie, and that'd be great
- 9:16Speaker 11: for the tournament. Well, we're game behind now probably, so
- 9:19Speaker 11: we got to make up for that and in league play,
- 9:21Speaker 11: which we can is not going to be easy. Christmas
- 9:25Speaker 11: won't be as Mary, but we can make it happen.
- 9:29Speaker 11: But we made a lot of progress. I can tell
- 9:31Speaker 11: you if you watch this team progress from the Oklahoma
- 9:33Speaker 11: State game where we were nowhere near where we are
- 9:38Speaker 11: now to a team that we played that I believe
- 9:40Speaker 11: is probably better than Oklahoma State and to go in there,
- 9:44Speaker 11: go one of seventeen from three to first half, come
- 9:47Speaker 11: out there, still fight to find their way up for
- 9:49Speaker 11: with the ball with forty seconds left to go in
- 9:51Speaker 11: the game. That shows the team's gotten a lot better.
- 9:54Speaker 11: And that's what we got to focus on. And that's
- 9:55Speaker 11: the positives closing the game. We got to we gotta
- 9:59Speaker 11: keep working.
- 9:59Speaker 2: On hard lesson right, but it has to be a lesson,
- 10:03Speaker 2: does it not?
- 10:04Speaker 4: Well?
- 10:05Speaker 11: You know, what do they say, you don't you know
- 10:06Speaker 11: when you when you lose, you get you get to learn, right.
- 10:08Speaker 4: I mean it's not there's no failure in it. I
- 10:10Speaker 4: mean you got to learn.
- 10:11Speaker 11: It's a If it's not a lesson, then we're not
- 10:14Speaker 11: going to be very good anyway.
- 10:16Speaker 4: We can't learn from it.
- 10:18Speaker 11: So we we we we got to keep plugging away
- 10:22Speaker 11: because I can tell you we're going to be facing
- 10:25Speaker 11: a lot of close games in league play, right and
- 10:28Speaker 11: we can't have careless turnovers, that's for sure, or just
- 10:30Speaker 11: not tie terminovers, whatever the reason reason, they were just
- 10:34Speaker 11: the recipe for losing late the game.
- 10:37Speaker 8: One thing that jumped out of me yesterday, and it's
- 10:39Speaker 8: it's the thing of the evolution of this team as
- 10:42Speaker 8: it goes on. Was other end of the floor and
- 10:46Speaker 8: Pop and Josh turned to you. Were they signaling to
- 10:50Speaker 8: you the defense that they wanted to play or was
- 10:52Speaker 8: it just an affirmation of what they wanted to do
- 10:55Speaker 8: to guard an inbound.
- 10:57Speaker 2: We we talked about communication.
- 10:58Speaker 8: We'll talk more over this, but it was nice to
- 11:01Speaker 8: see that they weren't just waiting to get everything from you.
- 11:04Speaker 8: It was almost as if they were going to say.
- 11:06Speaker 2: This is what we should be playing on the court.
- 11:09Speaker 4: Yeah, we try to.
- 11:09Speaker 11: You know, they're they're good at their bob offense is
- 11:11Speaker 11: really high rated.
- 11:12Speaker 4: They're good at it.
- 11:13Speaker 11: So we were trying to let them call their base
- 11:15Speaker 11: on out of bounces play, then we're gonna call our defense.
- 11:17Speaker 11: So you know, they were intune what was going on,
- 11:20Speaker 11: and we won the base on out of bounds war,
- 11:22Speaker 11: which is important. And for those that don't know, that's
- 11:24Speaker 11: when they're throwing the ball in under their basket. It's
- 11:26Speaker 11: pretty much like a set play. It's like a football play.
- 11:28Speaker 11: We had to win that battle, which we did win
- 11:31Speaker 11: my pretty good margin, and so to do that, we
- 11:34Speaker 11: had to get in the right defense. We're pretty much
- 11:35Speaker 11: audible in audible mode, right, yeah, so whatever they call
- 11:39Speaker 11: our defense is going to audible to something different.
- 11:41Speaker 8: So they had probably heard what SMU was going to
- 11:44Speaker 8: run or identify that and then just confirming with you
- 11:46Speaker 8: and I forget what the hand signal was.
- 11:48Speaker 2: I apologized.
- 11:49Speaker 8: It was just it just struck out to me because
- 11:51Speaker 8: or stuck out to me when when we had talked
- 11:53Speaker 8: about communication sometimes it's not always verbal. It was that
- 11:56Speaker 8: kind of communication, just confirming what to do right there.
- 11:59Speaker 11: Yeah, I mean, they're they're growing in that. And you know, basketball,
- 12:03Speaker 11: there's more to it than catches the eye. Sometimes when
- 12:05Speaker 11: you watch basketball, the strategy involved in the game is
- 12:08Speaker 11: imments and then and things that we always have to
- 12:11Speaker 11: be ahead of. We got to win that base on
- 12:13Speaker 11: out of bounds war and we got to win, you know,
- 12:15Speaker 11: anytime there's a set play that we can be one
- 12:18Speaker 11: step ahead of them and we're on defense, or we
- 12:20Speaker 11: can be one step ahead of them when we have
- 12:21Speaker 11: the ball right when we have a set play called.
- 12:24Speaker 11: And to do that, everybody's gotta go on the same page.
- 12:26Speaker 11: And I thought, for the lot for the most part,
- 12:29Speaker 11: defensively in those situations last game, we were on that page.
- 12:33Speaker 4: They are a very good slashing team.
- 12:36Speaker 11: They have very good players, as we saw, they have
- 12:38Speaker 11: guys that any They have several guys on their team
- 12:40Speaker 11: caple scoring thirty on a given night, and they make
- 12:43Speaker 11: tough shots.
- 12:44Speaker 4: Now, they're not a great three point shooting team, so
- 12:46Speaker 4: you have to live with some of their threes.
- 12:48Speaker 11: But you know, there's a reason why many predict them
- 12:51Speaker 11: to be an insa tournament team, and to do that,
- 12:54Speaker 11: you got to keep them all balanced.
- 12:56Speaker 2: Seven to Eraser in the middle too at times.
- 12:58Speaker 4: Right, Yeah, they're good. I like their pieces.
- 13:00Speaker 11: They're a good team, and you know that shows shows
- 13:04Speaker 11: where we are to not play our best game on
- 13:05Speaker 11: offense to still be there says something about our group.
- 13:08Speaker 8: It was a it was a great start, they come back,
- 13:11Speaker 8: fall behind, good start to the second half, SMU, I thought, answered,
- 13:17Speaker 8: and then that comeback came.
- 13:18Speaker 2: I know it was fifteen at one point.
- 13:20Speaker 8: But it was it was they got it back to
- 13:22Speaker 8: or SMU put it at twelve after the Eggies got close, Like,
- 13:24Speaker 8: it wasn't just one comeback. And sometimes you worry in
- 13:27Speaker 8: a comeback did you expend too much energy.
- 13:29Speaker 2: That wasn't the case for the Eggs.
- 13:32Speaker 11: We were fresh man. We just got to close it out.
- 13:33Speaker 11: I mean, let's just keep it really, always keep it
- 13:35Speaker 11: real with the fans. I mean, it's we had the
- 13:38Speaker 11: juice they've given in. We just got to take care
- 13:41Speaker 11: of the ball late and we had everything we do the.
- 13:44Speaker 4: The way that we play.
- 13:46Speaker 11: Variance is massive in how we play, so it doesn't
- 13:50Speaker 11: in particularly for this team. It's a heavy volume three
- 13:51Speaker 11: point shooting team. So like, I don't care anything. Fifteen
- 13:54Speaker 11: points is like.
- 13:55Speaker 4: Five to me in my eyes.
- 13:56Speaker 11: I'm not even worried about it, like that, it's not
- 13:58Speaker 11: a deal, and then being up it's the same way,
- 14:01Speaker 11: like it's it's the same way. Because we're a heavy
- 14:02Speaker 11: volume three point shooting team, people can say, well, what else, Well,
- 14:06Speaker 11: I mean, we got to play to what we have.
- 14:08Speaker 11: We have a bunch of shooters this year. But the
- 14:10Speaker 11: thing that we've done a great job on is not
- 14:12Speaker 11: just shooting. We've i think in every game this year,
- 14:14Speaker 11: we've got more free throws in our opponent. And that
- 14:17Speaker 11: equates to winning, and it particularly equates to winning on
- 14:19Speaker 11: the road. And you know, I'll be the first out
- 14:22Speaker 11: in sleep at all last night. I've never been as
- 14:25Speaker 11: sick of it over a regular season game as I
- 14:27Speaker 11: was last that last game that hurt. We needed that one,
- 14:31Speaker 11: We were there, we did enough late to pull it out.
- 14:35Speaker 4: I haven't slept.
- 14:36Speaker 11: I'm really frustrated with with not closing out because I
- 14:39Speaker 11: know where we would be sitting right now. We'd be
- 14:41Speaker 11: sitting here feeling pretty ain't good? Wuldn't we We'll be
- 14:43Speaker 11: sitting here saying, hey, let's get to eleven and two
- 14:46Speaker 11: and that tournament resumes starts looking pretty good because they're
- 14:49Speaker 11: going to take into account the two losses that we had.
- 14:51Speaker 4: One on the road to Oak State.
- 14:53Speaker 11: The UC was without Mac and we'd be saying, hey,
- 14:56Speaker 11: let's now, let's roll in the league, play and let's
- 14:58Speaker 11: pick ups, let's get these home wins and let's see
- 15:00Speaker 11: where we go.
- 15:02Speaker 4: And we were there. We didn't do it.
- 15:05Speaker 11: We got to learn from it, right, and we got
- 15:08Speaker 11: to grow from it. And sometimes you can take a
- 15:10Speaker 11: loss like that that can help you win two later. Yes,
- 15:13Speaker 11: that you may not have won, but we got to
- 15:15Speaker 11: learn from it, right.
- 15:16Speaker 4: So that's where we are, all right.
- 15:19Speaker 1: That was from last night's radio show on WTAW Bucky's
- 15:25Speaker 1: Team six o'clock Sunday evening against Jacksonville State. So you
- 15:31Speaker 1: got that going for you, which is nice for something
- 15:34Speaker 1: completely different. I am very excited to introduce this next guest.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Her debut album in two thousand and two became a
- 15:45Speaker 1: global phenomenon, swept the three Grammys Album of the Year,
- 15:50Speaker 1: Record of the Year's Song of the Year Best New Artist.
- 15:54Speaker 1: Since then, she has become a ten time Grammy winner,
- 15:59Speaker 1: sold more than fifty the two million albums her songs
- 16:03Speaker 1: have been streamed ten billion times world. Why she is
- 16:08Speaker 1: Norah Jones. It's an honor to talk to you. It's
- 16:12Speaker 1: a treat. My listeners already know this, But this time
- 16:15Speaker 1: of year, we play lots of holiday music and Christmas
- 16:18Speaker 1: music as part of our bumper music and our talk show.
- 16:21Speaker 1: And I don't need an excuse ever to play baby
- 16:24Speaker 1: It's Cold Outside with you and Willie. That is just
- 16:27Speaker 1: one of my favorite songs ever. I just love that
- 16:31Speaker 1: se How did the best collaboration come back come about?
- 16:36Speaker 9: Well, he was making a Christmas album and asked me
- 16:38Speaker 9: to come in, so you know, when Willie calls you
- 16:41Speaker 9: show up.
- 16:44Speaker 1: What was the process?
- 16:45Speaker 8: Like?
- 16:48Speaker 9: I think with that one it was just he and
- 16:49Speaker 9: I in the room and I think they added the
- 16:51Speaker 9: rhythm section.
- 16:52Speaker 7: Later, But yeah, I don't know.
- 16:55Speaker 9: I just love singing with Willy and I've done collaborations
- 16:58Speaker 9: with him where I just add my vocals to attract shore.
- 17:01Speaker 9: So it's always fun to just get in a room
- 17:02Speaker 9: and really be with him. Sure, and that one we
- 17:05Speaker 9: got to be together.
- 17:06Speaker 1: What do I mean, He's obviously been doing this quite
- 17:09Speaker 1: a while. What what did you learn things in studio
- 17:13Speaker 1: that that you took forward with you when when you
- 17:16Speaker 1: were doing other collaborations or your own music.
- 17:22Speaker 9: I think every time I collaborate with someone, I take
- 17:24Speaker 9: something away and it's not always easy to put into words.
- 17:28Speaker 7: Sure, but yeah, I mean WILLI is one of the most.
- 17:36Speaker 9: Well, he's one of the best musicians out there, and
- 17:38Speaker 9: he's also one of the most interesting singers.
- 17:41Speaker 7: He phrases differently yes every time he sings.
- 17:44Speaker 9: Yet when you're singing with him, he's very giving and
- 17:48Speaker 9: he doesn't try to leave you in the desk. He
- 17:50Speaker 9: tries to sing with you so he can both be
- 17:53Speaker 9: totally off the planet was racing or write with you.
- 17:57Speaker 9: So he's very giving in that way.
- 18:00Speaker 1: When you started your career, I mean, was it always
- 18:03Speaker 1: a goal to sing with as many different people as
- 18:08Speaker 1: possible at different kinds of genres of music or not.
- 18:12Speaker 9: No, that was the surprise of the lifetime. That has
- 18:15Speaker 9: turned into one of the most fun things about my career.
- 18:19Speaker 9: I just started getting asked to do all these duets
- 18:22Speaker 9: with people, and I said a lot of yes is
- 18:25Speaker 9: and some knows, but mostly yes is, especially with the
- 18:28Speaker 9: ones that I loved, And it's been amazing, you know,
- 18:33Speaker 9: I've gotten to collaborate with all these people, you know,
- 18:36Speaker 9: Dave Grohl, Ray, Charles, Willie Nelson Dolly parton Q Tip,
- 18:41Speaker 9: and I feel like that's sort of been what I'm
- 18:45Speaker 9: doing with my new podcast, Nora Jones is playing along.
- 18:50Speaker 7: It's like sort of an extension of that spirit of collaboration, and.
- 18:55Speaker 9: This time I'm doing the asking and I get to
- 18:58Speaker 9: ask people who I admire to come in and sit
- 19:01Speaker 9: with me, and you know, for about an hour, we
- 19:05Speaker 9: just sit there, just the two of us, and we
- 19:06Speaker 9: play songs together and we talk and that's it. It's
- 19:09Speaker 9: very simple, but it's very special.
- 19:12Speaker 12: You know.
- 19:13Speaker 1: I heard one of the first ones. I guess it
- 19:15Speaker 1: was that you did with Margot Price. And what I
- 19:18Speaker 1: like about it is you have time to explore and
- 19:22Speaker 1: it seems mostly unscripted. I know there has to be some,
- 19:27Speaker 1: but do you get to go in direction sometimes that
- 19:30Speaker 1: you weren't planning on going.
- 19:33Speaker 7: I mean, it's totally unscripted.
- 19:35Speaker 9: I certainly am prepared enough to have questions if there's
- 19:38Speaker 9: a lull, you know, but it's usually just goes wherever
- 19:42Speaker 9: it goes. And it's very fun. And we do pick
- 19:46Speaker 9: songs to play ahead of time. We text the days
- 19:50Speaker 9: before about which songs we're going to do and what
- 19:52Speaker 9: keys we're going to do the man so that I
- 19:53Speaker 9: can do my homework. But there's no rehearsal. We just
- 19:56Speaker 9: sort of play the song. Sometimes we'll do a second
- 19:59Speaker 9: take if we need to and edit it in, but
- 20:01Speaker 9: usually it's pretty much the first take, and it's pretty
- 20:04Speaker 9: off the cuff, and I think that's what's special about it.
- 20:07Speaker 9: It's just musicians playing music together in a room and
- 20:10Speaker 9: it's not perfect, but I think that's you know, there's
- 20:14Speaker 9: so much things that are over perfected these days, and
- 20:18Speaker 9: when you turn on the radio, it's nice to just
- 20:20Speaker 9: hear the real thing.
- 20:22Speaker 1: I've talked to so many musicians over the years, but
- 20:26Speaker 1: I'm always amazed that it's a relatively small club and
- 20:30Speaker 1: that most people know everybody in the business and it
- 20:34Speaker 1: doesn't really matter about the genre of the music. Am
- 20:37Speaker 1: I right about that?
- 20:40Speaker 7: I mean, I don't know.
- 20:42Speaker 9: I think it's a pretty big club, and I think
- 20:45Speaker 9: the language is pretty universal for.
- 20:47Speaker 7: Those who who respect it.
- 20:51Speaker 9: You know, I think the type of musician that wants
- 20:54Speaker 9: to come in and do this kind of a show
- 20:56Speaker 9: with me and that can be cool to roll with
- 20:59Speaker 9: it and happy to be off the cuff and and
- 21:01Speaker 9: sort of a little bit unknown. Yeah, that's a special
- 21:07Speaker 9: type of club. It's also I've made friends doing this.
- 21:11Speaker 9: You know, a lot of my guests I'd never met before,
- 21:14Speaker 9: so I didn't know, you know, I just did an
- 21:16Speaker 9: episode with Sam Smith and I had never met them before,
- 21:20Speaker 9: and now I feel like we're friends. Same with Jason Isbell.
- 21:23Speaker 9: Maybe we'd met briefly for a second, but we'd never
- 21:25Speaker 9: play music together. And now I feel like, you know,
- 21:28Speaker 9: we were kind of bonded and we have something cool
- 21:32Speaker 9: that we did together.
- 21:33Speaker 7: So yeah, it's it's pretty special.
- 21:37Speaker 1: How do you choose your guests?
- 21:41Speaker 13: I choose.
- 21:43Speaker 9: I mean, honestly, the list is pretty long, like a
- 21:45Speaker 9: thousand people, so there's not a lot of choosing anymore.
- 21:51Speaker 9: We just sort of cast a net now and try
- 21:53Speaker 9: to see who's into doing this kind of strange, wonky
- 21:57Speaker 9: thing with us and who I was up for it
- 22:00Speaker 9: is the right guest, you know.
- 22:02Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know that anyone's ever prepared to have
- 22:08Speaker 1: And I don't want to call it instant success. I
- 22:11Speaker 1: get what was before that, But when your album came
- 22:14Speaker 1: out in two thousand and two and then you won
- 22:16Speaker 1: all the Grammy Awards, that seems like a lot for
- 22:21Speaker 1: you know, like the first time was Was it parts
- 22:25Speaker 1: of it difficult to handle along the way?
- 22:28Speaker 7: Sure, Yeah, there were a lot of parts that were
- 22:30Speaker 7: a little hard. I wish I could go back in
- 22:34Speaker 7: time and just enjoy it more.
- 22:36Speaker 9: Yes, Yes, when you're young, the hard thing seem so
- 22:39Speaker 9: much harder. Yeah, But now that I'm older, it's like, Wow,
- 22:43Speaker 9: that wasn't so bad. But I did have a lot
- 22:48Speaker 9: of fun. I didn't not enjoy it at all. I
- 22:50Speaker 9: had some fun, for sure, But yeah, it's a funny thing.
- 22:55Speaker 9: It's a weird, weird thing that in a lot of
- 22:58Speaker 9: ways matters to you in the moment so much, but
- 23:02Speaker 9: then in so many ways doesn't matter at all. You know.
- 23:06Speaker 1: I want to mention this again. It's called Nora Jones
- 23:09Speaker 1: is playing around. It is really entertaining. It is like
- 23:14Speaker 1: having guests in her room, which it is and two
- 23:17Speaker 1: folks sitting around collaborating. Really enjoy it. Nora, and I
- 23:21Speaker 1: really appreciate your time today. Thanks so much the podcast
- 23:26Speaker 1: playing around. No I said that the first time it's
- 23:29Speaker 1: playing along. Nora Jones is playing along and it is
- 23:36Speaker 1: very entertaining and our thanks to Nora Jones. Hey Producers

- 26:43Speaker 1: Brought to you by Southwest Card World. Hate to start
- 26:47Speaker 1: with this one. The frontman for the Mavericks, Raoul Mollow,
- 26:52Speaker 1: has died. In a lengthy statement to Instagram, the band
- 26:56Speaker 1: posted yesterday no call, but he was had been diagnosed
- 27:03Speaker 1: with colon cancer. The band said, anyone with the pleasure
- 27:07Speaker 1: of being en rolls Orbit knew that he was a
- 27:08Speaker 1: force of human nature with infectious energy. Over a career
- 27:12Speaker 1: more than three decades, entertaining millions around the globe, his
- 27:15Speaker 1: towering creative contributions and unrivaled generational talent created the kind
- 27:20Speaker 1: of multi cultural American music reaching far beyond America itself.
- 27:25Speaker 1: This guy was very talented. That band had a lot
- 27:30Speaker 1: of energy, and uh, I don't know, we'll see going forward.
- 27:35Speaker 1: You know what's going to happen because they lost their
- 27:37Speaker 1: front guy. You know what I'm saying.
- 27:39Speaker 18: So, yeah, that's kind of difficult.
- 27:41Speaker 1: The good news, Jenna bush Hager is finally getting a
- 27:47Speaker 1: new partner for the fourth hour of the Today Show.
- 27:51Speaker 1: You know, Hoda finally sat down her wine glass last January.
- 27:57Speaker 1: I didn't realize it had been that long. It just
- 27:59Speaker 1: seemed like a long time.
- 28:03Speaker 13: Jes, I know.
- 28:05Speaker 1: Chaneil Chanelle Jones has announced that she will begin in
- 28:11Speaker 1: January Today. They haven't named it yet. Yeah, Today with
- 28:18Speaker 1: Jenna and Chanelle beginning Monday, January twelfth. Jones served as
- 28:24Speaker 1: co host of the third hour of Today along with
- 28:28Speaker 1: Al Rokers, so she's been there before. The announcement comes
- 28:33Speaker 1: after her month's long hiatus following the death of her
- 28:36Speaker 1: husband of seventeen years last May. So she stepped away
- 28:41Speaker 1: from the program in December, returned in September, and now
- 28:45Speaker 1: she's going to be with Jenna on that coveted fourth
- 28:49Speaker 1: hour where apparently you're allowed to drink as much as
- 28:52Speaker 1: you want.
- 28:54Speaker 18: I mean, if I would have known, I should have applied.
- 28:56Speaker 2: I know.
- 28:57Speaker 13: That's what I'm saying.
- 28:59Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. Yeah, I mean, yeah.
- 29:02Speaker 18: Sign me up.
- 29:03Speaker 13: Yeah, you know, it doesn't let me do those kind
- 29:06Speaker 13: of things.
- 29:07Speaker 1: Let's go.
- 29:10Speaker 13: Well, I mean at least there's you know, now we
- 29:13Speaker 13: know there is a replacement.
- 29:14Speaker 18: Who will there's no wine will.
- 29:16Speaker 13: Go left exactly, I think right, it's.
- 29:19Speaker 1: Right, no wine will go on.
- 29:21Speaker 13: As far as we know, no wine, We'll go Yeah,
- 29:25Speaker 13: moving along. I know you're excited about this, and I
- 29:28Speaker 13: know I would like this show too. I just haven't
- 29:30Speaker 13: started watching it, but land Man, hasty fuel left.
- 29:33Speaker 1: I've seen the first two episodes this year. I'm a
- 29:36Speaker 1: little behind, but man, is this a good show?
- 29:41Speaker 18: Well?
- 29:41Speaker 13: Luckily, I mean obviously it's having a successful second season.
- 29:45Speaker 13: So it has been renewed for season three and I'll
- 29:48Speaker 13: set on December fifth. Yes, the drama series, as we
- 29:51Speaker 13: know as follows Tommy Norris, who is Billy Bob Thornton,
- 29:54Speaker 13: an oil company executive in Texas.
- 29:56Speaker 1: I'm just telling you, Billy Bob Oyle was born to
- 29:59Speaker 1: play Norris.
- 30:02Speaker 13: Among these other stars there are dim Me Moore, Yeah,
- 30:06Speaker 13: Michelle Rudolph or Randolph.
- 30:08Speaker 1: Sam elliottsknew this year as Billy Bob's father.
- 30:12Speaker 18: There you go.
- 30:13Speaker 13: Yeah, it was created by Taylor Sheriff yellow Stone of course,
- 30:18Speaker 13: So I mean it was it was bound to be something.
- 30:20Speaker 1: Yeah, we need more Taylor Sheridan shows. There's not enough
- 30:24Speaker 1: of them right now.
- 30:25Speaker 18: There's not enough.
- 30:27Speaker 13: But people are saying it's one of the best shows
- 30:30Speaker 13: on TV right now.
- 30:31Speaker 18: Keep mini seasons coming.
- 30:34Speaker 13: And then it says my show, My shows were popular,
- 30:37Speaker 13: but this isn't entertaining.
- 30:38Speaker 18: In a different world.
- 30:40Speaker 13: This is a kind of a phenomenon, he said, let
- 30:42Speaker 13: me see who's talking.
- 30:43Speaker 1: Oh, Billy, Bob, yeah.
- 30:44Speaker 13: Billy yeah, Yeah. I've been famous for like thirty five
- 30:48Speaker 13: years or whatever, but it's gone to another level.
- 30:50Speaker 18: I didn't know there would be another level.
- 30:52Speaker 2: Wow.
- 30:52Speaker 1: I'm just telling you. This guy was was born to
- 30:55Speaker 1: play it. So it's just, uh, you know, sometimes that happened.
- 31:00Speaker 1: It happens. Thank And I know you've been asking about
- 31:05Speaker 1: this and I've been wondering about it. Pete Davidson is
- 31:09Speaker 1: gearing up for fatherhood.
- 31:11Speaker 18: Yes, Edge, the actor.
- 31:14Speaker 1: Comedian who's thirty two expecting his first child with model
- 31:18Speaker 1: girlfriend Elsie Hewitt, is prepared for the big arrival, from
- 31:24Speaker 1: building a nursery to removing an indoor pool. Well, they're
- 31:29Speaker 1: gonna in about three years they're gonna wish they had
- 31:31Speaker 1: that indoor pool. Throw that kid in there and let
- 31:34Speaker 1: him play around a little bit. Yes, yes, course, I
- 31:40Speaker 1: wasn't suggesting anything else. Davidson is definitely nervous about stepping
- 31:48Speaker 1: into fatherhood. Yeah, we're all nervous for him. I'm sure
- 31:52Speaker 1: he'll just beat there, perfect father. I want to meet
- 31:57Speaker 1: this person. It's just been an elsie for nine months.
- 32:01Speaker 1: I'm like, what is this thing come out already? So,
- 32:05Speaker 1: you know, Pete, he's he's quite the quite the scientist
- 32:10Speaker 1: and cerebral guy.
- 32:13Speaker 13: You know, I can only imagine how hard it is
- 32:16Speaker 13: for the fathers having to wait nine whole months.
- 32:19Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, it's got to be terrible.
- 32:21Speaker 18: I'm been carrying it.
- 32:22Speaker 1: Yeah, gotta be terribly.
- 32:23Speaker 18: Terrible for y'all.
- 32:24Speaker 13: Yeah, well, hey, you know, you know, I'm sure there's
- 32:29Speaker 13: some you know, well, there should be emotional attachments anyways,
- 32:32Speaker 13: but he did lose his dad at nine to eleven,
- 32:35Speaker 13: so maybe he's hoping, you know, yeah, that'll be another connection.
- 32:38Speaker 18: Who knows. I'm trying to be nice. I don't know why.
- 32:41Speaker 13: It usually like this the holiday spirit, but I guess.
- 32:45Speaker 18: Sorry, guys, I'll go back.
- 32:47Speaker 13: To my cynical self moving on and Joe and Gaines.
- 32:51Speaker 1: We haven't heard from Chip and Joanna in a while,
- 32:56Speaker 1: well ever since they got their own network, I don't
- 32:59Speaker 1: see anymore.
- 33:01Speaker 13: They have branched out and their newest home renovation project
- 33:04Speaker 13: will see them venture outside of Texas, which is the first.
- 33:08Speaker 18: Time allegedly this has happened.
- 33:10Speaker 13: They're gonna build their dream vacation home. Oh okay man,
- 33:16Speaker 13: So yes, they do have their own network work. They
- 33:19Speaker 13: didn't launch that in twenty twenty one. The Gaines have
- 33:22Speaker 13: stayed true to their roots down in Waco. They lived
- 33:26Speaker 13: in there for their five kids before they found fame
- 33:30Speaker 13: until now. But they're finally branching out with a mountain
- 33:33Speaker 13: house getaway for the whole family. So it is called
- 33:37Speaker 13: Fixer Upper Colorado Mountain House. It is the brand new
- 33:40Speaker 13: three part limited series debuting to Today.
- 33:44Speaker 4: Wow.
- 33:44Speaker 13: They open up about what made them decide to head
- 33:49Speaker 13: to the mountains for a new property. This is our
- 33:51Speaker 13: first out of Central Texas.
- 33:53Speaker 1: Project, Jose, They could, I want.
- 33:55Speaker 13: To feel like something I've put together or something I've
- 33:58Speaker 13: put together for my family, which I mean.
- 34:01Speaker 1: I can't wait to get an invitation and.
- 34:03Speaker 13: I'm sure the views are gorgeous, especially in Colorado.
- 34:07Speaker 1: I mean, I'm sure they'll spend about half their time
- 34:10Speaker 1: get on. I guess, Oh, so, Timothy shallow May, are
- 34:19Speaker 1: you with me? Timothy shallow May he was at the
- 34:25Speaker 1: big premiere of his new film Marty Supreme in an
- 34:30Speaker 1: eye popping orange ensemble, matching girlfriend Kylie Jenner's get up.
- 34:38Speaker 1: He sported an orange leather suit with a button down
- 34:43Speaker 1: of the same color, a black cross body bag in
- 34:47Speaker 1: the shape of a ping pong paddle. The film stars
- 34:51Speaker 1: shallow May is a table tennis player loosely inspired by
- 34:56Speaker 1: Marty Reeseman and follows his quest for greatness. I guess
- 35:02Speaker 1: I had forgotten these two were together. I'm sorry. They
- 35:08Speaker 1: became red carpet official uh in twenty twenty three, so
- 35:13Speaker 1: two years this has been going on.
- 35:17Speaker 18: Yeah, she popped on red carpets before.
- 35:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:20Speaker 1: I guess every time.
- 35:23Speaker 13: I hear that someone's wore an orange, which this isn't
- 35:26Speaker 13: very often on an orange suit, I just automatically think
- 35:30Speaker 13: of dumb and dummer.
- 35:31Speaker 1: No matter, they can kind of look that way if
- 35:34Speaker 1: you really want to know the truth, you know, sheo.
- 35:39Speaker 1: Kyla shares her two children with Travis Scott stormy and airy.
- 35:49Speaker 18: You got the names right. No, I haven't written it air.
- 35:52Speaker 13: No, I haven't written it air well like to throw.
- 35:56Speaker 1: In apple, yes, Moses Dweezl.
- 36:01Speaker 18: Get Yeah, there she is or he. I don't know
- 36:04Speaker 18: which one is.
- 36:05Speaker 1: Weezlasel Duezl is the boy.
- 36:08Speaker 18: I guess it could be both.
- 36:09Speaker 1: You know it could be both. That's the beauty why
- 36:13Speaker 1: Sidney Sweeney is eager to shut down years of speculation
- 36:17Speaker 1: that she's had work done. I have never gotten work done.
- 36:22Speaker 1: I'm so scared of needles. She says, it's really effective
- 36:28Speaker 1: once you get older. Her Housemaid co star Amanda Seafree
- 36:34Speaker 1: chimed in. Though the forty year old encouraged Sweeny to
- 36:37Speaker 1: consider undergoing treatments later in life, she did say you
- 36:42Speaker 1: don't need it yet. Sweeney took the opportunity to chastise
- 36:47Speaker 1: those who compare her looks over a fifteen year spad.
- 36:53Speaker 1: You cannot compare a photo of me when I was
- 36:56Speaker 1: twelve to a photo of me at twenty six with
- 36:59Speaker 1: professional make up and lighting. Of course I'm going to
- 37:02Speaker 1: look different. Social media is insane. You go, girl, she's
- 37:09Speaker 1: only twenty six. Yeah apparently so.
- 37:12Speaker 13: Yeah, then I like how also, her co star is
- 37:16Speaker 13: not like, no, you won't need it.
- 37:18Speaker 18: She's like, no, when you get older.
- 37:20Speaker 1: Yeah, you're gonna need it. You're definitely gonna need it. Yeah,
- 37:25Speaker 1: you're definitely you want to keep working in Hollywood, You're
- 37:27Speaker 1: gonna have to have some work done.
- 37:29Speaker 18: So I take it for me kids.
- 37:31Speaker 1: But all by all means don't go to Meg Ryan's doctor.
- 37:35Speaker 1: Whatever you do.
- 37:36Speaker 18: Become friends with the Jenners. Apparently Chris has a good
- 37:39Speaker 18: hook up.
- 37:39Speaker 1: Yeah, Chris, there's that.
- 37:41Speaker 13: Yeah, we kind of briefly talked about Yellowstone just because
- 37:44Speaker 13: of the same creator. But before Kevin Costner rode into
- 37:47Speaker 13: the sunset on Yellowstone that it did earn him two
- 37:50Speaker 13: Oscars for dances with wolves. He gosh, man, what hasn't
- 37:56Speaker 13: he been in.
- 37:59Speaker 18: So many things?
- 38:00Speaker 13: Sorry, but dreaming of Hollywood fame. The seed of stardom
- 38:04Speaker 13: was planted at church apparently for him. I think I
- 38:08Speaker 13: was about four years old when I was selected to
- 38:10Speaker 13: be a shepherd, and our church are yearly production of
- 38:13Speaker 13: the Nativity. Nice, he said two in ABC's Kevin Costner's
- 38:18Speaker 13: Presents the First Christmas.
- 38:19Speaker 1: I didn't know that was a that's tonight. Actually, I
- 38:22Speaker 1: believe starts streaming tonight. Yeah, I gotta tell you, I
- 38:28Speaker 1: do like Kevin Costner mostly, but that's there's a but
- 38:35Speaker 1: I'm not I'm not sure he needs to be telling
- 38:38Speaker 1: me about the First Christmas. You know what I'm saying.
- 38:42Speaker 18: He's he goes on.
- 38:44Speaker 13: We all think we know the story, we all wait
- 38:48Speaker 13: for this time of year, and then we get mad
- 38:50Speaker 13: at it too, because now it's so much stuff I
- 38:53Speaker 13: have to do, and I hate and I hate this.
- 38:56Speaker 13: It's too many people are coming to the house. There's
- 39:00Speaker 13: other stories that change the world a lot, or changed
- 39:04Speaker 13: the world a lot of the world. I was proud
- 39:07Speaker 13: to be able to do it. I'm sure I'm going
- 39:09Speaker 13: to going to confront the cynics and the non believers,
- 39:13Speaker 13: so I invite them to sit down too, and they
- 39:15Speaker 13: can feel how I feel. But I was really happy.
- 39:18Speaker 13: This gave me pleasure to do good.
- 39:19Speaker 1: For her, I mean good for him. Yeah, I mean
- 39:21Speaker 1: you know, so, I mean that's great.
- 39:23Speaker 13: Like I said, he did say the church that his
- 39:27Speaker 13: family helped build in the nineteen fifties was his foundation for.
- 39:31Speaker 18: This, So we'll do for him.
- 39:34Speaker 13: I would have never imagined Cosner doing this summer.
- 39:38Speaker 1: But I mean, I get it.
- 39:39Speaker 18: Hey, if you feel like it.
- 39:42Speaker 19: Tune in, yeah, and then tell us how it goes.
- 39:45Speaker 19: Because yeah, I'm like I said, okay, so more Pam
- 39:54Speaker 19: Anderson Liam Neeson stuff.
- 39:57Speaker 18: Oh it's been a minute though.
- 39:59Speaker 1: It had Remember they had headlines on the People of
- 40:03Speaker 1: a cover of people Surprise romance. Yeah, if you must know,
- 40:09Speaker 1: Liam and I were romantically involved for a short while,
- 40:13Speaker 1: but only after we finished filming. The two spent a
- 40:17Speaker 1: week together at his home in upstate New York. I
- 40:21Speaker 1: had my own room, she notes. Our assistants both came
- 40:27Speaker 1: family stopped by. The pair went to dinner at a
- 40:30Speaker 1: tiny French restaurant, where he introduced me as the future
- 40:36Speaker 1: Missus Neeson. They spent time in the garden. I tended
- 40:40Speaker 1: to a rose bush. I was happy to help. Following
- 40:45Speaker 1: what she calls their romantic lost week, during which Nissan
- 40:50Speaker 1: chased a bear from the breakfast window, we went our
- 40:54Speaker 1: separate ways to work on other films. The last time
- 40:59Speaker 1: we saw each other in August. He's surprised Anderson by
- 41:04Speaker 1: coming to see her at the Williamstown Theater Festival. He
- 41:08Speaker 1: is such a supporter of this new trajectory in my
- 41:11Speaker 1: career and kindly tells me he's very proud of me.
- 41:17Speaker 1: I'm sure will always be in each other's lives. But
- 41:23Speaker 1: apparently the romance faded and it only took a week together.
- 41:30Speaker 13: Well that whole week sounded like a Hallmark movie.
- 41:33Speaker 18: But uh, how sad.
- 41:36Speaker 13: I actually was kind of hopeful that they would be
- 41:38Speaker 13: you know, I don't know. Yeah, well, oh, well it's Hollywood.
- 41:43Speaker 18: That's what happens.
- 41:43Speaker 1: It's Hollywood.
- 41:44Speaker 18: Yeah, that's why we're talking you. Yeah, you get one
- 41:48Speaker 18: good week.
- 41:49Speaker 13: Yeah, and then it's on the alps, unless you're Taylor
- 41:52Speaker 13: and Travis because apparently they never fight.
- 41:56Speaker 18: Country duo. I don't know if you know who these
- 41:58Speaker 18: people are, but we're going to see, Okay, Maddie and Tay.
- 42:04Speaker 13: Okay, well it comprised of Mattie, Marlo Font and Tate
- 42:08Speaker 13: die Kerr.
- 42:08Speaker 18: What a name.
- 42:09Speaker 13: Jeez. They're splitting up after performing together for all teeniears.
- 42:15Speaker 13: But don't bet I have a broken heart just yet.
- 42:18Speaker 18: Chip, It's okay. The par isn't calling it a breakup.
- 42:21Speaker 13: Uh. They're leaving the split open ended and may make
- 42:24Speaker 13: another record or go back on tour together one day.
- 42:27Speaker 13: They did say in a statement Kerr will focus on
- 42:30Speaker 13: her family, which includes her four year old daughter and
- 42:33Speaker 13: thirteen month old son. So she's probably stepping away because
- 42:37Speaker 13: my motherhood, which is understandable.
- 42:39Speaker 18: How while that's.
- 42:41Speaker 13: Going on, Tay is going to focus on her solo
- 42:44Speaker 13: career and poor energy into her family also, which includes
- 42:47Speaker 13: a two year old son. So thank you for all
- 42:49Speaker 13: the love. As we step into this new bitter seat suite, Trapter,
- 42:54Speaker 13: we both feel overwhelmed with gratitude for what we built
- 42:57Speaker 13: over or with y'all the last twelve years. Thank you
- 43:00Speaker 13: for making our wilders dreams come true, and we hope
- 43:02Speaker 13: you stay close by to watch us chase some dream
- 43:05Speaker 13: new dreams. We love you so much and hope you
- 43:08Speaker 13: still shake your booty.
- 43:09Speaker 1: With us on tour for them.
- 43:11Speaker 18: So Chip, there's hope, shake your booty next, yme.
- 43:15Speaker 1: The crazed fan who jumped Ariana Grande in Singapore was
- 43:23Speaker 1: kicked out of Lady Gagaz concert last night in Australia.
- 43:28Speaker 1: Good Callum Cantrell shared on social media that he and
- 43:33Speaker 1: his pal spotted the controversial super fan Johnson win at
- 43:39Speaker 1: the stadium. An alerted security Calum and Johnson seemed to
- 43:45Speaker 1: be incognito, wearing a brown wig and mustache and the
- 43:49Speaker 1: VIP entrance line security swiftly responded. There's a video of
- 43:54Speaker 1: a man looking strikingly similar to Johnson being escorted out
- 43:59Speaker 1: of the floor seating. Johnson later hopped on Instagram said
- 44:04Speaker 1: he was booted from the show. The individual went viral
- 44:09Speaker 1: for all the wrong reasons in November when he jumped
- 44:13Speaker 1: over a barricade and grabbed Ariana at the Wicked for Good,
- 44:20Speaker 1: where Cynthia Arrivo quickly jumped in to protect her co
- 44:25Speaker 1: star as security pulled him away. So. I don't know
- 44:31Speaker 1: if this guy is super dangerous or if he just
- 44:34Speaker 1: loves getting his face on social media, but either one
- 44:38Speaker 1: is wrong.
- 44:38Speaker 18: It's destruckt up.
- 44:39Speaker 13: Yeah, he did this too. Also, Katy Perry jumped on
- 44:42Speaker 13: stage at her concert and then I think the Chainsmokers.
- 44:46Speaker 13: I think there was other ones where he does this
- 44:48Speaker 13: all the time.
- 44:48Speaker 1: You know, I'm gonna suggest that he's going to do
- 44:51Speaker 1: that once too often and not be able to walk
- 44:55Speaker 1: off the stage.
- 44:58Speaker 18: Just saying, h times people need hard lessons.
- 45:01Speaker 1: Let's do some birthdays. Sunday, the Great Ellen Bernston turned

- 46:29Speaker 1: I didn't like that at all. Boat Bridges, Yeah, eighty four.
- 46:38Speaker 1: Holy Moley, John Malkovich, the very strange one. You can
- 46:47Speaker 1: say that about a lot of people in Hollywood.

- 46:50Speaker 1: Seventy two today.
- 46:53Speaker 18: Tawny Osmond, Johnny.

- 47:16Speaker 1: very long. I do know that.
- 47:18Speaker 18: No, maybe she paid someone off.
- 47:21Speaker 1: Bob Dylan's son, Jacob of the Wallflowers, a friend of

- 47:44Speaker 1: God bless you.
- 47:46Speaker 18: That's why. It's because it's your birthday. That's why there's
- 47:49Speaker 18: no good celebrities.
- 47:51Speaker 1: Happy birthday, Happy birthday to you.
- 47:53Speaker 4: You don't.
- 47:54Speaker 1: You don't share birthdays with a lot of great celebrities.
- 47:57Speaker 18: I'm afraid sorry to hear it that it makes you
- 48:01Speaker 18: feel better. I share with Pete Davidson.
- 48:03Speaker 1: So there's that bragged all your friends. I'm sure they're
- 48:07Speaker 1: they're jelly. They're jelly. Okay, we'll try tomorrow. And you
- 48:13Speaker 1: know what I have to do tomorrow. I got to
- 48:16Speaker 1: start getting the dead people list together. Yeah, we only
- 48:21Speaker 1: got three more of these.
- 48:22Speaker 12: You know.
- 48:23Speaker 13: I figure that's what you were gonna say, But I
- 48:25Speaker 13: didn't expect you just to say it so bluntly.
- 48:27Speaker 18: The dead people list, so we'll have that dead. Maybe

- 49:13Speaker 21: needed a new roof. Yeah, I shopped around and then
- 49:16Speaker 21: I found Shorlty Roofing in Point. I'm glad I did.
- 49:18Speaker 21: The folks at Shulty guided me every step of the way.
- 49:21Speaker 4: They showed me.
- 49:22Speaker 21: My options, They told me what my out of pocket
- 49:24Speaker 21: cost would be after insurance. They took the complication out
- 49:28Speaker 21: of an otherwise very stressful situation. They took off the
- 49:31Speaker 21: damage roof, put on the new roof, did all the cleanup,
- 49:33Speaker 21: and I had my new roof in one day, the whole.
