- 0:23You may show that comes comes, it comes a month? Is it
- 0:33just I'm a doing ber Yeah, I'm gonna go on the way you made
- 0:41pill Vegan. Welcome, Welcome, Welcome. You're listening to the Sport Shock
- 0:47Show. I am the sword Shock Wing Candy. Good morning to you out
- 0:51there and listening land. We are moving right along in the month of November.
- 0:58We are two weeks away from Thanksgiving. I know you wouldn't know that
- 1:02because Christmas started right after Labor Day, so you really have no sense of
- 1:07when the next holidays are on deck. There are no turkeys and pumpkins or
- 1:14any kind of festivities put out for Thanksgiving. They literally sell Christmas, Christmas
- 1:22Santa Claus right next to the Gorgawl at home depot. You're just buying the
- 1:29same. They got the Horror and Christmas on the same aisle. They don't
- 1:34wait, so I know you don't know. Thanksgiving is right around the corner,
- 1:38and most of you. I don't know if door Dashed delivers cranberry sauce.
- 1:44I'm quite sure they do. But I'm quite sure that's how most people
- 1:48in Commandchee Greggs a sphere of life, that's how they eat. They just
- 1:53order up a door Dash Thanksgiving with a couple of sides. Right, just
- 1:59one can of berry sauce. Yeah, that's all you ever need. Yeah,
- 2:01no, no, no, that's all you ever need. Cranberry sauce
- 2:06is the one thing you want the people to come in the kitchen and say,
- 2:08hey, all the cranberry sauce is gone. Yeah, that's the thing.
- 2:14That and the turkey, if you can accomplish that, if you can
- 2:17get a I've never been where people ran out of turkey. You should really
- 2:23just get you a fake turkey and just let it sit there so it'll just
- 2:25look like you had turkey. Because some people don't like to spend the time
- 2:30making turkey anymore. So a place like Popeyes or a Boston market, they're
- 2:35selling turkey, so we can just go in and get one. So that's
- 2:38not part of it either. Well, take time for turkey. All you
- 2:44do is put it in a pan and push it in the other that many
- 2:47deep frown Now you drop time trying to look when you got to start getting
- 2:53creative and inject stuff into get to the turkey and frying, and that means
- 3:02that it's boring, which turkey is. But it is a boring meat.
- 3:07It's a boring meat. It's not a lot of You don't want turkey losagnya
- 3:12and you really don't. You eat it because the doctor told your cholesterol is
- 3:15high or something like you're trying to lose weight. But it's kind of like
- 3:21impossible patties. It just don't taste the same. You ever had a turkey
- 3:25meat loaf versus real moo moo cow meat loa, it's two different meat loafs.
- 3:31I have not had turkey meat loaf exactly. You see what I'm saying.
- 3:36He's making my point for me Turkey meat exactly. See what I'm saying.
- 3:39And this man just got back to meat like thirty eight days ago.
- 3:44He just got it. Run Turkey is tofu turkey, which is once you
- 3:50meat for years. Yeah, that's a whole nother hour on the couch of
- 3:55why people season up tofu to make it excited. You ever here was somebody
- 4:00to eat Tofu and they tell you what they had, and they try to
- 4:04make it sound like it was so something I had Sweden. But good morning
- 4:17till you. We're glad to be here. The bath Produs was in the
- 4:20building. Comanchie greg is in the building as well. Thursday Night Football on
- 4:26with Big Kenny, the funny man himself should put you to sleep. If
- 4:29you're looking for a good night sleep, just get you a workout of hot
- 4:32bath and then turn on the Panthers Bears. I'm quite sure you will at
- 4:38least get you a good six hours. If you got a fussy bab If
- 4:41you got a baby, give him a lavender bath, put him in front
- 4:46of the game. The Carolina Panthers playing tonight taking on the Chicago Bears,
- 4:51which would Bryce Young. I'm quite sure they were building this in their mind
- 4:56for the Bryce Young justin Fields battle of the New Age. But neither one
- 5:01of these teams are worth anything but getting ready for the draft order. Remember,
- 5:09in this case, the Bears actually own the Panthers draft pick next year.
- 5:15What they do with it is up to them. But wherever the Panthers
- 5:17fall, that's where the Bears will have their pick. And the Panthers pick
- 5:24Justin Fields. I don't know if he's going to be out there tonight or
- 5:28not. He's missed the last couple of games with a thumb issue. I
- 5:32want to say for Justin Fields, who's on, He's gonna have an exciting
- 5:36offseason with the Bears. In those picks, I expect him to be put
- 5:42out there for trade bait and see if someone else can start over with Justin
- 5:47Fields, and it could just be that fresh. As I said, the
- 5:51one thing you can never tell what a player and sometimes is the city,
- 5:59maybe the city's structure, the Bear fan base, just to the high expectations
- 6:02too high like New York or Justin Fields with them heavy pockets and all that
- 6:08money. But he doesn't seem like he's developing. But that could just be
- 6:13with the Bears, that's all. So you know, young player still got
- 6:16a lot of talent, just seems that also with that talent, he has
- 6:20a lot of fear. But that is Thursday night football tonight. I won't
- 6:26be watching it. That's why I'm talking about it a lot now. So
- 6:30no questions about Bears Panthers. There's nothing about that that interests me. So
- 6:35everyone has to play one, so and everybody needs to miss one. So
- 6:42I'm gonna go with you, the three of you, make sure you watch,
- 6:50and I'm gonna make sure this is your slot for missing. This is
- 6:54my one Anthony Davis tonight to so kind of jokes. You can catch up.
- 7:02It fits. What's the college game tonight? That should be interesting?
- 7:08One of them better than the NFL game. You tell us, you're I'm
- 7:11just sitting here thinking it is a college game. If you got a couple
- 7:14of If you have to have a football fix, it may not matter who
- 7:16it is, it's it's probably better. That's what. If you have to
- 7:19have a football fix and you don't talk about this. We just made everybody
- 7:24rap presence tonight. Just wrap your presence for Christmas, y'all still do take
- 7:28take the take the night and rap presence. However you rap, whether you're
- 7:31buying bags and just putting tissue paper on top of the gift and a bad
- 7:38producer, or if you're extensive with your wrapping paper like a command as your
- 7:43great because he looks like his rapping. It's so that you you ever heard
- 7:50it? Had somebody wrap a present you don't even want to open? Like
- 7:54did you got I got to still sitting in the closet, did you.
- 7:57I'm not gonna wrap this like this. It's had to be AI generated so
- 8:03perfectly because it's got the boat with the little curly curls on the ribbon and
- 8:07everything is symmetrical like there. You can't see where the ribbon was cut.
- 8:11That kind of I got two presents like that still in the closet. I'm
- 8:13afraid to open them. But that is Thursday Night football. As the bad
- 8:18producer said, there are a couple of college games. Remember we're down to
- 8:22the last three weeks of college football regular seas. I wanted to say the
- 8:28last Saturday of the regular season is the Saturday after Thanksgiving. So we have
- 8:33reached that point. It doesn't seem like it's there because it's been an exciting
- 8:35season, but we are getting to those last weekend rivalry. Well, most
- 8:41teams are still on that Georgia, Georgia Tech, Auburn, Alabama, Michigan.
- 8:46You know, I know a lot of things have changed, but a
- 8:48lot of places have held to that rivalry of their most hated enemy at the
- 8:56end Tomorrow night, just for you that want to check out some college talent,
- 9:05and I know, everybody's on the Buffalo's bandwagons, So the Colorado Buffalo's
- 9:11the quarterback tomorrow in the game, I'll be calling at seven point thirty on
- 9:16GPB for Houston County. His name is aj Hill. He's a junior.
- 9:22He is signed to go to Colorado. So it looked like, especially this
- 9:28season, how the season has turned around for Shadua Sanders, I would expect
- 9:33that he would be back in Colorado next year, which would put this young
- 9:39man as one of those freshmen that will in a year now be talked about
- 9:43replacing Shadeur Sanders if he does stay one more year. But his name is
- 9:50AJ Hill. He's a four star quarterback. He is the number three rated
- 9:56junior quarterback. But he has decided to go to Colorado, at least at
- 10:01this time. Remember away with the Nils and shuffling around, you kind of
- 10:07have to wait until his name is on the paper and he signs it.
- 10:11So Aj Hill, Houston County. Houston County has they have a Khalil House,
- 10:18the right tackle, he's going to Stanford. They got a receiver,
- 10:22Ricky Johnson He's also going to Stanford. So very talented team taking on North
- 10:28Atlanta. Who won a division the region. They're nine and one, Houston
- 10:33is eight and two, So it should be a good game tomorrow night gp
- 10:37B. But I know a lot of people on the Buffaloes, and here's
- 10:43the Buffaloes possibly future starting quarterback. He's six' five, he's like two
- 10:48twenty. He's a junior, and so we will see how the young man
- 10:54fairs tomorrow night in Atlanta. They play in Atlanta down at Great the Stadium.
- 11:00But I think they've changed the name of Grady Stadium to something else.
- 11:03With that PC generation. They went back from the found that Grady had married
- 11:11like two women or something. They really haven't. We all nineteen oh one,
- 11:18we've both been married to two women. They changed. They changed nineteen
- 11:22o one. It was legal, it was, but it was legal.
- 11:26Actually it was recommended. The doctor was like, if you want to lower
- 11:28your cholesterol, get you a second wife. They changed the name of the
- 11:33Midtown High School. Also, what's the name of the stadium, Eddie s
- 11:37Henderson Stadium until they find it. He go to dig it in Eddie's past,
- 11:43and he sounded like he got some deeper stuff than Grady. We'll be
- 11:46back more than Sports Chalk Show got a nice show for you today. Uh
- 11:50and you know, just want to say right now so you know, for
- 11:54you haters, I'm going to tell you while you're hating and how you can

- 13:30placed in foster care at fifteen years old. Her life was full of uncertainty.
- 13:37She thought she'd never have a permanent place to call home. Before I
- 13:41was adopted, I felt like I wasn't enough. I had this hole in
- 13:46my heart and I never knew what I needed to patch that hole. But
- 13:50when my mom asked to adopt me, that hole was closed. It feels
- 13:52so normal now to say that I'm a part of this family. I am
- 13:56surrounded by love, I feel safe, and that whole inside of me is
- 14:01gone. I am whole I'm finally enough, just as I am. The

- 14:28my wife died, I felt like I lost everything, including my love of
- 14:31fishing. But one day my granddaughter called and I realized I still had a
- 14:37lot to look forward to. I got referred to a psychiatrist who explained depression
- 14:41can happen to anyone. Getting help doesn't make me weak, it makes me
- 14:45stronger. I just wish you'd made me better at fishing. Mental health care

- 15:11No, no, no, Now it's time to present the Jock of the
- 15:13Day on the Sports Jock Show's taken it to a completely different level this year,
- 15:18where we highlight an applete that has taken their game to the next level.
- 15:24Yeah, Jo job jo Jo super High. Welcome back to this wo
- 15:50Shock showing the spoy Shock Wayne Gandy. Remember you can always catch us on
- 15:54replay on Spotify or Apple Podcast. Big Kinney, come at your great bad
- 16:00producer all in the building this morning, and I'm gonna start you off with
- 16:03a holy basketball batman. Y'all get the reference as I tell the story basketball
- 16:15batman. I think this is in a d situation. Tuesday night, the
- 16:19Nevada wolf Pack had to stop their basketball game versus Sakramanto State because a colony
- 16:30of bats were in the building. Yes, I said a colony of bats
- 16:38were in the arena. Most of us have experienced. If you go to
- 16:45indoor arena's possibly a bird, one single bird. If you go to football,
- 16:52sometimes you get a squirrel, baseball, something like that. I'm willing
- 16:57to wage that very few people have ever seen a bat in real life hovering
- 17:07over them. It's something you if you saw it, it was on TV
- 17:11or in a textbook, but you never probably even saw that, and if
- 17:15you did, you thought it was a bird. Well, it's a colony
- 17:18of bats that have been in this arena since twenty seventeen at the Nevada Department
- 17:25of Wildlife confirmed there could be up to thirty bats living inside the arena.
- 17:32Now, I like to ask the Department of Wildlife from Nevada, why are
- 17:37those bats six years later still in the arena. I didn't know you could
- 17:41just be sitting in open venues. You know a lot of places have to
- 17:45close for rats or termites. So you're saying, but bats, that's that's
- 17:52ku though they ain't bother nobody. They wanted to remove the bats, but
- 18:00every time somebody comes out the bats goal you are to get things sleep well.
- 18:06Head coach Steve Offered had a big time rant. He's upset and most
- 18:11likely it's all centered around that this has been going on for so long.
- 18:18Remember I said, twenty seventeen, they realized there was a colony. It's
- 18:22twenty twenty three Tuesday night. So the other night the bats are still in
- 18:27the arena. They had the pause the game. I'm sitting there. Based
- 18:33on the score, bats come out. Most likely I'm going to just go
- 18:37ahead on and beat the traffic. I don't know what without googling what diseases
- 18:45bats carry, but it doesn't it doesn't sound like a good bite. You
- 18:49know, Actually it doesn't sound like a goods It's not. And if a
- 18:56lot of people can remember, in history, some of the viruses that were
- 19:02most dangerous to livestock and then later mutated into humans started with back to animal
- 19:08transmission. The bats would get it somewhere and then they would transmit it to
- 19:12the pork or and then it would so or it would kill a bunch of
- 19:18cows, or kill a bunch of chickens. And uh, it's six years
- 19:22that seemed. I mean, it would be different if we didn't know.
- 19:23But aren't we really all have to be surprised that Lawler Event Center is allowed
- 19:30to even be open, That's what I'm saying. How how is it a
- 19:33bat problem? Thirty something bats? This isn't a single bat. Now,
- 19:37I'm one of the rare people that have actually seen wild bats up hallucinations.
- 19:45I was sober that days, Joshua Tree, you see, you ought to
- 19:51see the size of them. And I happened to see a guy he caught
- 19:56one, and he showed everybody was in a plastic content. And they fangs,
- 20:02the whole claws, the little things like that, and one is scary
- 20:06and concerning. But you know that like up to thirty and how is that
- 20:11not a health code violation? Because they serve food and drinks in these videos,
- 20:15don't It's Lowler Events Center, it's where the Valive wolf Pack they play
- 20:18their basketball games. How is that allowed? That's why I'm asking. The
- 20:23three Intelligence helped me out, what what are the guess they're nocturnal and they
- 20:27wouldn't expecting them to come out, Well, what are the laws? I
- 20:32don't think twenty thousand people sitting around eating hot dogs and nachos and the bats
- 20:38are like, we're not interested. It's they're nocturnal. I would think they're
- 20:42sleeping. That isn't dark enough for them. That's what they were sleeping.
- 20:48So you know that. And you know that they light in the arena.
- 20:55But if the game is lights on in the arena, they gonna think it's
- 20:56daytime. But there sound sensitive. They travel by sonar, so when the
- 21:02bands the lights light, the lights being on and off in the arena has
- 21:04nothing to be doing nocturnal, right, Just make sure you make a note
- 21:08of that. Go ahead on the job down in your notes to get from
- 21:11once I'm letting you touch your phone to put in your notes. Lights being
- 21:18on and off has nothing to do with being nocturnal, Jared says, bats
- 21:22calls COVID nineteen. They did. I didn't want to say it, Thank
- 21:25you, Jared, and then he said too soon. But and him and
- 21:30his man's on the same page. Y'all'm telling you, after this show is
- 21:36over, and y'all argue, y'all go watch movies together. Well, Jared,
- 21:40make sure you text the bad producer that lights being on or off has
- 21:44nothing to do. Look up nocturnal for nocturnal, right, and y'all get
- 21:48on the same page on that. But Steve offered, we will see how
- 21:52this plans out. I'm surprised, as I said, that the event center
- 21:56is even allowed to be open with a colony. It's one thing for you
- 22:00tell me there's a bat, yes, but to tell me that in any
- 22:06moment, a certain you know, thirty thirty five bats could come down onto
- 22:11the court. Watch your video. It's on video where the players are.
- 22:15They were swatting the bats away and they had to stop the game. Just
- 22:18very interesting that it's allowed. You know they stop games for wet floors,
- 22:22yes they do. And you know you think bats would be a reason to
- 22:27have to everybody out, and you know they're going to exponentially get more and
- 22:34more in their colony because they're creatures. Well, Steve offer, we hope
- 22:42you get your problem solved and call down to the wildlife. Who do you
- 22:48call for? You call the wildlife people for bats? Right? Yeah,
- 22:51yeah, so they would have to come in and get them out of there
- 22:52for you. We'll be back with more of the Sports Stock Show right after
- 22:56this. Shake this bump from one not a fade because I don't want to
- 23:00dream about getting paid. I played ball in the holes of thess brother.
- 23:07Call him dirt and left. Rack them up, crack em up, stack
- 23:10them up against the gate to the home. He's trying to kiss me.
- 23:11Bday, Cake White, don't bow away. More of the Sports John Show

- 24:22And now let's talk about something exciting life insurance. Three quarters of Americans
- 24:26believe that coverage represents a critical piece of financial security, yet only forty nine
- 24:32percent actually have life insurance. When I was twenty five, me and my
- 24:34wife were just getting started with our family and thought we lived forever life insurance.
- 24:38What's the last thing on my mind? What about you? Will you
- 24:41be leaving benefits or bills. When I was forty, with a kid in
- 24:45college and bills piling up, I was worried how my family will survive without
- 24:48me. That's what I'm in an appointment with the insurance informant. Information gives
- 24:52you power and life. Insurance gives your family security no matter what stage of
- 24:56life you're in. Now that I'm molder, I don't worry about whether I'll
- 24:59leave my family. Would bills are benefits? The answer is easy, whether
- 25:02you're twenty five or fifty, whether you earn a little or a lot,
- 25:04All you need is the insurance informant to help you build a foundation of security,
- 25:08because without you, your family will have two options, benefits or bills.
- 25:14Which legacy will you leave behind? Log on today benefits or bills dot
- 25:18com. That's benefits orbills dot com. There are a thousand ways to say
- 25:26it, Nope, knock it off, shut it down, dream on,
- 25:32no, die, give it a rest, not a chance, or just
- 25:37all text. You focus on the road. As a passenger, you have
- 25:42the power to prevent an accident. There are a thousand ways to stop a
- 25:47distracted driver. Choose one. A message from CTIA and now back to the
- 25:56sports John Wayne Gandy, The Red Zoo, Back to War, Shock,
- 26:38Shine the Sword, Shock Waingne Gandy. Good morning to you, uh here
- 26:45in Atlanta. Commanche is in the building. Bad producer Big Kenny the funny
- 26:48man himself in the building. Last night. I saw your Page Buker of
- 26:52Yukon caught that first half of the Yukon uh dating game. Yukon ranked number
- 26:59two. Just to see Page Buker. Remember Freshman player of the Year,
- 27:06Yeah, yeah, yeah. She also was the National Player of the Year.
- 27:08She's the first freshman to ever win National Player of the Year as a
- 27:12freshman at Yukon. Last night, hitting the court was her first time in
- 27:18five hundred and eighty four days that she had been on the court. She
- 27:26had two different season ending injuries. She had one during the season and then
- 27:32when she tried to come back before the season, she had another one.
- 27:34So basically, when you say five hundred and eighty four days, you're saying
- 27:38two years that she hasn't played basketball. And when you talk about that kind
- 27:44of talent, which amount of person at that moment as a freshman, people
- 27:48was thinking maybe she'll play one more year and be in the WNB A and
- 27:52at this page. She still has this year and two more with her injuries
- 27:56and red shirt, so she got a long time. She was one of
- 28:00those first nil deal people who get a lot of money as well. Just
- 28:06good to see her back on the court last night. As I made earlier,
- 28:08Anthony Davis was out for the Lakers. So I don't know if he
- 28:14was on the sideline to make sure nobody could say street clothes, but he
- 28:18was out the Lakers. As I said a couple of weeks ago, it's
- 28:19not Ad, not Lebron, it's you. You got to go find a
- 28:25third person. Any and everybody that you're going to try to beat has a
- 28:29third person. You don't have a third person. And D'Angelo Russell is not
- 28:33the third person. Yes, he was drafted to be a number one,
- 28:38because he was drafted number one, but when you look at how he plays,
- 28:44he's a good player. He should start, but he's the fourth fifth
- 28:47guy on your team. Might want to go find a team like a Tomart
- 28:52de Rozan or someone someone or Pus Pascal from Toronto, one of these teams
- 28:56that could take some pigs and bring in a third person. Because Ad out
- 29:00last night left a thirty nine year old Lebron to do what I mean,
- 29:06man, everybody that plays Lebron, they just keep running. I know what
- 29:10the coach on said in the meeting, just keep running. Oh all right
- 29:15now we're gonna be playing the king tonighty yo. So Jeff run and run,
- 29:22Just keep running, Jeff run and at some point he gonna get that
- 29:30put his hands on his knee. So a d N Street closed. Lakers,
- 29:36go ahead, Bickinnie. How many seasons are we going to hope that
- 29:41Anthony Davis? Or are the Lakers going to hope that Anthony Davis can cross
- 29:48and check off all of these boxes? Stay healthy, be engaged, show
- 29:53up to play. How many years are we going to roll those dice and
- 29:57crap out before somebody's says, man, maybe we ought to go a different
- 30:02direction. Well, they signed into a three year extension at the MAC,
- 30:06so I would say at least three more years because you have a problem of
- 30:11the injury component. So very likely nobody would trade precisely for that's like one
- 30:18of the big knocks to get traded. Can you pass a physical? Do
- 30:23we you know what are we paying for the merchandise? So I'm quite sure
- 30:27in a Laker uniform, and that's what I'm saying. That's why that valuable
- 30:32third piece. And the teams you're gonna play, they have three pieces.
- 30:36You only have two and a possible. So who can and you can't two
- 30:42of them possible. I know you said tomorrow Rosan and Pascal, but what
- 30:48they're gonna get to give up to get that, to get a damorro Rosan
- 30:52or someone on that caliber. Well, you have a lot of talent on
- 30:55your bench, a lot of players that maybe have some inspire expound contracts in
- 31:02the future. A lot of teams like the trade the salary for that.
- 31:06Once those teams start realizing, oh okay, we're not gonna go in the
- 31:08direction we want to, there's no need of holding or the guy don't doesn't
- 31:12want to come back next year. That's how you work those kind of things.
- 31:19And you got D'Angelo Russell, so he's always good to be tradeable to
- 31:26the particular, so be considered a piece. Right. You got some little
- 31:30things that you could package up if somebody came available, But you can't feat
- 31:34the Denver Nuggets without a third piece, and that's what that would be your
- 31:40Achilles hill, trying to beat them with only two pieces. But last night
- 31:45I got to see James Harden and the Clippers as well. Watch a little
- 31:48bit of that, and it's just gonna take time. You can see them,
- 31:51they're all five, four of them are on the court confused. James
- 31:56Harden because you got to realize we went through all that training camp and we
- 32:00had figured out how to cut the pizza in three slices. But Russell Westbrook,
- 32:07Kawhi Leonard, and Paul George and in a matter of three or four
- 32:10days you have come in and decided we're gonna need to cut them. And
- 32:15you can see they're on the court trying to figure out whose turn is it
- 32:20right to do their thing? So now you're only getting two slices of piece.
- 32:27Yeah, and we're playing a more They have one true center and the
- 32:31rest of us are basically guards, so now we have to learn a new
- 32:36style. I think they're very dangerous if they figure it out, and they
- 32:39got plenty of time because they got a whole season to get in. But
- 32:44it's just you could see what I'm saying. What the part I'm talking about
- 32:47is you can actually watch them on the court and see they're not sure do
- 32:53I set the pick for you your time to take. Okay, it's twelve
- 33:00seconds on the clock. Who is supposed to I don't want to be the
- 33:02guy where people say I'm hagged, because remember I got I got two guys
- 33:07that people have labeled to be selfish in Russell Westbrook and James Harden and sports
- 33:15Jock, And I don't want to be that guy. So I don't know
- 33:17whether to get the ball to Kawhi and cut or set the pick for Paul
- 33:22George and you could very rarely can you see like these guys look like they
- 33:29confused, but they ain't even all start like just take the ball. But
- 33:32isn't that a positive? Because what I was thinking is at least they're conscious
- 33:37of the fact that I have some other people I got hugely. It wouldn't
- 33:43be no question I got the ball. I'm going to the hall. You
- 33:45know that's James Harden, Western Westbrook. He don't care. He could get
- 33:50to the game. He can get to that team like at three PM,
- 33:52and they could play at five and he taken the last shot. Tyron Lou
- 33:58in my opinion, and the Clippers should have just brought James Harden off the
- 34:02bench. First couple of games of the season. I saw them play as
- 34:07triplets. They had already figured it out. James Harden might be an adventual
- 34:14ventual starter, but he should have come in because I think they give up
- 34:19way too much size. And when I say size, I'm saying not just
- 34:22height. I'm talking about size in the sense of they don't They're not physical
- 34:28guys. They're not like a Draymond. Kawhi and Paul George are the same
- 34:34height as a Draymond, but d Raymond's DNA is to rebound and to play
- 34:37physical. These guys are more real guards. They defend, but they are
- 34:43real guards. Yeah, great problem to have. But I was just sitting
- 34:49there marveled how clearly you could see they don't actually know which person you're gonna
- 34:57go. Well, you know, play clock. They don't got a pill
- 35:02on to play. Y'alls are waiting too much time, you know so,
- 35:07But the Clippers look like they were just confused. Last night, Carson Wentz
- 35:12signed with the Rams, and Carson, I owe you an apology. We've
- 35:15talked on this show since the beginning of the season of different people to put
- 35:20on teams, and we totally forgot that you were even available totally. We
- 35:25were talking about Philip Rivers and Matt Ryan and Cam Newton and people that was
- 35:31completely and far removed and forgot that Carson Wentz was just on the commanders.
- 35:38Carson Wentz is still within the age range of he was drafted in twenty sixteen
- 35:45or something like that, something like that, so we're talking about less than
- 35:49ten years, so that would put him somewhere around thirty one thirty two.
- 35:54Yeah, And I can't remember one time us thinking this guy got hurt,
- 36:00maybe they should call Carson Wentz. Carson couldn't think of a time somebody he
- 36:05thought, maybe they call me, Carson to call him off guard too.
- 36:09I still say, don't be too hard on yourself. He saw the phone
- 36:14ring and it say NFL and he was like what he was back out in
- 36:17the North Dakota hanging out. Know, I'm talking about someone of his pedigree
- 36:22who was like a top ten pick from really a lot of his failure just
- 36:27really come from injuries. But big not a guy that's going to throw your
- 36:34organization into any chaos or commotion. He just comes in with the flannel does
- 36:42and try to do it as good as he can. And we totally kept
- 36:45missing anybody all these injuries. Aaron Rodgers went out in three plays. None
- 36:51of us, said Carson Wentz. Oh, we all jumped to Philip Rivers
- 36:55is in a Colabama where you got and Carson wis Philip Rivers coaches at a
- 37:02high school where you have to fly and then still laying and then drive three
- 37:07hours still to get to where Philip Rivers. Yeah, but he's worth it.
- 37:10How do we know he hasn't played football and played football but three somebody's
- 37:15been watching him. He must be No. Carson Wentz was sitting on his
- 37:19couch. His wife said, Carson, it's the NFL, and he was
- 37:22like, I ain't got no time to be playing with you now the middle
- 37:25of my show, I owe you in the following Carson, and eight nine
- 37:30weeks, I forgot to throw your name in the hat of somebody that teams
- 37:34could go get and get through a couple of weeks of to get a guy
- 37:38back. You know he's not It doesn't have to be no full year.
- 37:42Just I need you for like three weeks. We had never put you on
- 37:45the list. Sorry about that, Carson. We'll be with more of the
- 37:47Sports Jock Show right after this close day Thursdays in this Lime Don't Go Away
- 38:05or of the Sports Josh Show with Wayne Dambidius coming up next. Attention home

- 41:17Land, Glad to be here with you. Thursday Night football puts the Panthers
- 41:22versus the Bears. Right now, it looks doubtful that Justin Fields will be
- 41:25playing for the Bears tonight, and the Panthers will suit up with our man
- 41:30Bryce Young. They are a couple of college football games on tonight. I
- 41:37think the bad producer was alluding to a Southern mist. Big Kenny's alma mater
- 41:40will be playing the Raging Cajuns. That's our rivalry too, that's our big
- 41:46University of Louisiana. One row that's our big Let's get them. If we
- 41:51don't beat nobody else, let's beak Louisiana on bro the raging Cajuns in side
- 41:58of their miss You know that bunt that burner, you got a great side
- 42:02of the iron Bowl and you got I mean the way of that in the
- 42:07world's largest outdoor got it's like Florida, Florida State like that. It's like
- 42:14that, right, it's a little bit I'm saying, if you look at
- 42:17it from the right angle and with the kind of good light on it,
- 42:22that's let's don't overlook the great acc matchup the night also too, though Virginia
- 42:27and Louisville. Nobody asked about that though. We were really just talking about
- 42:30Southern miss I thought, in my opinion that we were talking about Southern you
- 42:35mean like two and seven Virginia. Yeah, I was thinking in Virginia.
- 42:38Sorry, this year, they're not. They're not. We're going to be
- 42:45with the tragedies and everything. We're just gonna keep pulling from Virginia that they
- 42:47get through. You know, let's stay strong state. What they got to
- 42:52do with a rivalry and a good football game. He don't know, Oh,
- 42:57okay, let's move on trying to us there. Aaron Rodgers has been
- 43:02on the Pack McAfee show several times this year. I think every Wednesday calls
- 43:07on and it seemed like he's like semi retired. Is that kind of does
- 43:14it seem odd to you? He calls into the show this week, it
- 43:16was I'll be back in a couple He was just joking about his achilles and
- 43:21when he would be back. But he seems to be retired but not.
- 43:30Yeah, we used to in sports we called it sandbagging. You seem like
- 43:35he just you kind of hear, but you I mean, you get in
- 43:37a check but you ain't really working working well. Usually on the journey of
- 43:44recovery, you just out, then you recover and then at some point you
- 43:47come back. When do you find the time continue to be functioning throughout the
- 43:52season, even when he goes to the Jet games and he throws the ball
- 43:55and make sure he gets there early so the camera can get him throw the
- 44:00ball, and doesn't he have like still we still got a bunch of Aaron
- 44:07Rodgers jerseys printed. He's still relevant for the Jets. They still got he's
- 44:12still marketable. We still got to make that brand issue there. You know,
- 44:15it's a lot of things. That's why I'm looking at it. He's
- 44:19doing radio TV, so with you being in that New York market, that's
- 44:22just keeping the fans like hungry, saying, hey we got we still got
- 44:27a superstar even though he's not playing, we have Aaron Rodgers on our team.
- 44:30I mean, that's how I'm looking at it. Well, I'm saying,
- 44:34but as a Jet fan, how do you look at it? I
- 44:37doubt the Laker fans are sitting there and taking pride. Pride Davis is on
- 44:43the team and right, oh we've talking jump does that? That's what I'm
- 44:49trying to say. What did that do for me? This? For me
- 44:52as as a Jet fanatic, I'm okay seeing him on the field passing because
- 44:59you look like you trying to come back. But what Pat McAfee got to
- 45:01do with this. There's a lot of coach quarterbacks to do a weekly radio
- 45:07show. They call into that weekly and maybe he has something set up during
- 45:12But typically those people that have their weekly shows are actually playing, yes,
- 45:17and the weekly show they're on is usually their show. So I know you're
- 45:27one of those people you love to try to find an out for player and
- 45:30player actions regardless. It just seems, and I'm not there's nothing he's doing
- 45:32wrong, in particular because his career as secure as one of the greatst has
- 45:38ever did it. So that part is over. It just seems I can't
- 45:42tell whether you're just ready to move on or you're trying to make sure that
- 45:47part of your life you don't get missed out on. Well, but you
- 45:52just don't seem, you know, even throwing the ball. Most quarterbacks in
- 45:55this situation hurt. If they're out there, they're usually catching the ball,
- 45:59hand it to the starter, talking to him, not telling receivers to go
- 46:04deep. For some shucking and jiving as RG three or what you make it
- 46:15politically correct, he said, you can a jive r G three. Another
- 46:20coach down at Tampa Jesuit High School in Florida. It's out of Tampa,
- 46:23as it says, Jesuit High School, a team I used to play every
- 46:28year in the basketball tournament, got caught on tape and fire. You could
- 46:32see him if you want to check out, because we had one of those
- 46:36incidents here this year over at May's High School where the coach punched a player.
- 46:43In this case, the player was running off the field on the game
- 46:45guy. The assistant coach punched the player as well. So just as I
- 46:52said, then, it's not for me something that's shocking things like that.
- 47:00And I know the new sensitive commandschee Greg style, people find that deplorable,
- 47:07but it's not even close to some of the things I've seen interact. I
- 47:13consider that love and it goes both ways. So it goes both ways that
- 47:19I've seen some players punch the coach unprovoked too. It's it's it's not one
- 47:22of those one way streets where coaches are off limit. I don't want to
- 47:27hear that right now. Coach, and you know, take this this,
- 47:32you know, wouldn't you consider that tough love? I would say that,
- 47:37No, I don't. I don't know about no tough love. I just
- 47:40know that it's something that coaches have had to adjust to. It's not surprising
- 47:45in the business. But that coach was fired right there on the spot,
- 47:50similar to the Maids coach here in Atlanta. I think May's made the playoffs
- 47:54though, yes, yeah, May's High School. That coach that got fired
- 47:59here. I think that team also made the playoffs. You have to make
- 48:00sure. But we'll be back with more than Sports Jock Show. Right after
- 48:05this, these years with these funny bunny people, ain't things changing? Got
- 48:08my mam? I wonder when if I'm gang bang and but I don't pay
- 48:12attention to that father figure. I just hand them on and I'm rolling them
- 48:15with the trigger off to the v I peak you see Snoop Dogg and doorb
- 48:20Je unbelievable. How time Joh'm bowl Wayne Boor of The Sports Josh Show with
- 48:25Wayne Gambidius coming up next. I love this song. I love nachos,
- 48:32loving everything. You might be buzzed. You know what? I'd love a
- 48:36ride when it's time to head out. If you see a buzz warning sign,
- 48:38call for a ride when it's time to go home. Buzz driving is
- 48:42drunk driving. A message from NITZA and the AD Council. We've all been

- 50:28This message presented by the NFHS and the GHSA. And now back to
- 50:37the sports John Wayne Gandy Center Court on sports news, gossip, blah blah
- 50:47blah blah blah. Tell me what you go to me? Confrontation ain't nothing
- 51:12new to me? To me, what makes you this what shock show?
- 51:15I'm this what shock? Wayne Kandy College football winding down three weeks to go.
- 51:20As we have spoken about this weekend, Alabama trying to invade Kentucky to
- 51:25keep their title hopes alive. Michigan will take on Penn State. That's probably
- 51:32the biggest game of the day. Everybody can continue to say Michigan hasn't played
- 51:37anyone, which is they have. It's just that those teams were not ranked.
- 51:40But that's not Michigan's fault. I can only play who's on the schedule.
- 51:45So this will be a big test for them to take on Penn State
- 51:49on the road. We talked about Southern miss and U l M. I
- 51:55know which, Well, I guess it's not his football team because he's a
- 52:00Georgia Bulldog. Duke is playing North Carolina in football, which three weeks ago
- 52:07this looked like it was going to be a hard ticket to get. Now
- 52:12you probably can get a two for one. Duke's not ranked. Remember when
- 52:15Duke was like six and oh and the toast of the town. And now
- 52:20they're not ranked. But all he want to bash is Colorado, not Colorado.
- 52:24North Carolina was like six and oh, and they both it was look
- 52:30like they was going to be this big, huge game. It's still big
- 52:31because their rivals and they live ten miles apart from each other. But now
- 52:38Duke is not ranking. I think North Carolina is like twenty three twenty four
- 52:43in the rankings, but we will see how that goes. Georgia has a
- 52:47good test taken on Old Miss, probably the second best game of the day
- 52:53outside of Penn State Michigan State. Georgia is still in some people's mind,
- 53:00you know, should be number one, but the college football rankings put Ohio
- 53:06State up there, UG at two, Michigan at three, FSU at four.
- 53:12We're still waiting on the whole sign stealing investigation. It's so confusing,
- 53:19and to me because everybody still signs. You got to tell me how technical
- 53:28to me if it's not watergate, and when I say watergate, unless you
- 53:31went and put a device or broke into my building. Stealing signs has been
- 53:37what you do. You do it as a coach, you do it as
- 53:40a player. You stand on the field and you do it. Your eyes,
- 53:45your ears are always I'm always in the huddle looking back at the defensive
- 53:52line and the linebackers. I'm listening for cold words from the first play to
- 53:58the last play. I'm just hoping that I figure it out by the mid
- 54:04third quarter. Each time, I keep hearing them say Alice, Okay,
- 54:09I can't go off the first time. I can't because I might lead us
- 54:15wrong. But I go back to the huddle and I tell my guard,
- 54:20or I tell my tight end, or I tell my quarterback. They said,
- 54:24Alice, and the strong safety blitzed. You look at it. Now,
- 54:30you listen. All of us listen, they said, Alice. The
- 54:34second time, the strong safety blitzed, so we go to the sideline.
- 54:39Coach he tells us. Now, next time you hear Alice say easy,
- 54:51easy, change the play easy. When you hear him say, Alice,
- 54:55now we're gonna run the screen towards the blitz and if if you ever want
- 55:00a big play, run a screen to the blitzing side. I know y'all
- 55:05are confused, but when that safety I means nobody's back there that running back,
- 55:10get out. He gone because everybody on came to the party. Now
- 55:14we're running and we're all stealing. Now. I don't know how technical this
- 55:21is. I don't know what it is. Michigan saying people sent people to
- 55:24their games. But if y'all ain't breaking into buildings. They hit me with
- 55:30some James Bond technology where I put the pin down and it reads your computer
- 55:34kind of stuff. Y'all, I offer you a milkshake and it's actually a
- 55:40nanobot that gets inside of your brain. I was wondering, is this just
- 55:45part of the new quote unquote sensibilities of sports. We talked about how some
- 55:50people are upset with coaches being physical. When did this become a thing,
- 55:54Because I've always seen coaches with binoculars and there was always do That's why I
- 56:01thought they covered there. It's because people still say they were afraid people had
- 56:07hired lip readers, lip readers, and that's what I'm saying. That was
- 56:09part of the gamesmanship, that was part of the my advantage over you.
- 56:15When did that become something punishable by the I don't That's what I'm saying.
- 56:20I haven't talked a lot about it, and I'm not saying don't find whoever
- 56:23needs to be fined. I'm telling you that, especially on the Pro League,
- 56:29players get hired every week from other team's opponents, even if we just
- 56:34keep them for two weeks. If we're playing the forty nine ers next week
- 56:39and they let some linebacker go and we need a linebacker, we called the
- 56:46guy and played at the forty nine ers and the four or five coaches going
- 56:52there and they close the door like it's about to be some kind of crime
- 56:54scene. They got old Andy and they ask him all kinds of questions.
- 57:04Now, some players, based on how long they were with the team,
- 57:07showed that other team loyalty and won't give up the code. But the disgruntled
- 57:13ones that feel like they kept Big Kenny and cut me, how they gonna
- 57:17keep it? Hey, man, give me a pen, I show you
- 57:21let me. I am a c W confidential witness. I'm gonna write it
- 57:25out there, write it out for you and how many you want. And
- 57:29didn't get on the sand like him. But I'm not making light of it
- 57:34because I can't really feel it all started with buying some tickets to a game.
- 57:38The old way of recruiting team, I mean scouting teams were there was
- 57:43two or three coaches that went to the next opponent's game that we'll be having
- 57:47a game today and whoever we think we might play next week. This was
- 57:52before all the audio and recording. That was the only way to get it,
- 57:55and they would go see that team. And if I figure out what
- 58:00you're doing flashing all those signs, you're saying that I can't do that.
- 58:05By the fourth quarter, I figured out what all that holding? The hulk?
- 58:08O? What what haulk? The commination hunk Taylor Swift Starbucks. So
- 58:15you're telling me I'm not supposed to use that information. That ought to be
- 58:19points on the boards, Like if I could be out what hunk Taylor Swift
- 58:22Starbucks drake me, y'all want to give me two points? You got fans
- 58:25in the stands, your fans trying to help figure it out for you.
- 58:30So, but I hope this doesn't throw this whole Michigan I like it is.
- 58:35I hope it doesn't have any consequences this year. Maybe next year,
- 58:38cut some players or take some scholarships. But let this season, which is
- 58:43an exciting football season, just let it happen. We'll be back more to
- 58:46Sports Jock Show right after this phone book that was getting here. Yes,

- 1:01:15gonna go on the way. Welcome back to the One Shock Show. I'm
- 1:01:21the sport Shock waing Gatty. Good morning to you glad to be here with
- 1:01:24you. It is Thursday. We are rolling into another weekend of big time
- 1:01:30games in college and in the n f L. Tonight is not a big
- 1:01:35game. It's for fans only. Well, no, that's that's only fans.
- 1:01:42Yeah, I always getting confused. Not not the not the sexual at
- 1:01:46home taking pictures. This is actually gonna be on prime video a little bit
- 1:01:51like this, like at all, thank you sexual. This is gonna be
- 1:01:54more of a fan only game. The Panthers, not nation versus the Bear
- 1:02:00Nation, the ones that want to suffer through tonight on Thursday Night football.
- 1:02:06There is a couple of college games tonight as well. The bad producer says,
- 1:02:09Virginia Tech, Virginia excuse me, Virginia Louisville. Louisville is one of
- 1:02:15the top ten twelve teams in the country. We talked about Penn State and
- 1:02:20Michigan. That's the big game for Saturday, along with Old Miss taking on
- 1:02:24Georgia up in Athens. Only three weekends left to conference championship games. So
- 1:02:34we are winding down the college football season very quickly. Commanchie greg was it
- 1:02:43commanchi Greg a bad producer? One of you said that the NCAA is going
- 1:02:47to change to where they let juniors that leave play in all star games,
- 1:02:53all star games at the end, Will it be like the Junior All Star
- 1:02:59No, no, no, they they will be mixed in seniors, juniors,
- 1:03:01sophomore if you declare, for example, Mauric's coloret at that time,
- 1:03:06when he declared he could go and play in an All Star game with seniors,
- 1:03:10that's coming out, or that most of these games East West Shrine Bowl,
- 1:03:15the HBCU Bowl that they just all star game, they just created and
- 1:03:19it's one more game, not that they didn't mention the Senior Bowl. It's
- 1:03:22the East West and it's another game, all star game that they play that
- 1:03:27the underclassmens are now allowed to play because last year they had ninety six underclassrooms
- 1:03:32that declared for the NFL Draft and they really didn't have an opportunity to get
- 1:03:37the the goal and to end these bowls. But you'd say, that's what
- 1:03:40the combine is for. You made that choice to go out early. These
- 1:03:45guys stayed. To me, I think you stayed long enough. You earned
- 1:03:47that right to go and go to these all Star games. That's just another
- 1:03:51avenue for you just because you declared early. I don't think you know that's
- 1:03:54what you get it, how you get it. So basically there's no benefits
- 1:03:58anymore, to be no benefit year and staying the whole time and that kind
- 1:04:02of thing. Remember that used to be a thing, it did, and
- 1:04:05now he's just free fall. Everybody gets in, everybody gets a trophy,
- 1:04:11basically everybody. Everybody gets a chance to get a look prime time. Deon
- 1:04:16Sanders, as we spoke about, he was taking issue last week the people
- 1:04:19questioning him about plate calling. Remember he changed his plate call, but pat
- 1:04:26Sherman uh into calling plays. The offense still looked the same or even worse.
- 1:04:33But he got upset with a couple of reporters for still bringing that up.
- 1:04:39And that was I don't get where his patients with people doing their job,
- 1:04:48because he said one of the things he's learned this season is that he
- 1:04:54has had more patience. But then, but you don't have patience with people
- 1:04:57doing their job. That's not a legitimate question. How is the play calling
- 1:05:01going to go this week? Are you going to go back right? That's
- 1:05:05not that's a that's a worthy question to be a combination like you brought this
- 1:05:11to us it'd be different. If it worked, we might not be asking
- 1:05:15you about it. But it did not work, and we covers the story.
- 1:05:18We covered all story sports related, some of us specifically only for Colorado.
- 1:05:26So I think a lot of that is frustration and embarrassment. I'm embarrassed
- 1:05:32that I talked the talk and now my walk doesn't look like my words.
- 1:05:39And sometimes you have to accept that this just wasn't my season. And hey
- 1:05:48man, I was a little more excited than the reality of this division,
- 1:05:56of this incarnation of coach Prime. Yeah, I can't with the same swag
- 1:06:00and all of that, but I'm just the coach. Everybody else has to
- 1:06:04do their job too. Yeah, you wrote checks for other people, and
- 1:06:10you're used to you're forgetting when it was you, you would writing checks for
- 1:06:14you and you could cash him because you were you. But you went out
- 1:06:17and wrote checks for a team that hadn't even proved itself to just got together
- 1:06:24and put a bullseye. And now you're sitting here at four and four.
- 1:06:29Five. Arizona is coming this Saturday, which is a worthy opponent. It
- 1:06:35could go either way in this game, just as much as you could come
- 1:06:40back five and five Saturday you could also be four and six. That's how
- 1:06:45evenly matched this game is. And we talked about these two more wins to
- 1:06:50make a bowl. But I think that's where Dion, a man who anybody
- 1:06:58that's used to winning or used to they're they're always magic. Johnson, when
- 1:07:02he tried to coach, didn't have the patience, so he quit. He
- 1:07:06didn't have the patience for it. He didn't, you know. I remember
- 1:07:11when he tried to coach and the story he'd said, the guys were already
- 1:07:15dressed by the time the game was over. He did the one or two
- 1:07:18interviews on the sideline and went back to talk to the players. Players are
- 1:07:23already dressed as though they hadn't lost. They weren't sitting in there with their
- 1:07:28heads down and thinking about how they could have won. They was thinking about
- 1:07:33that. Drake about to have a party and we were about to leave,
- 1:07:36and he said, it's just not patience. And I think prime with these
- 1:07:41teams, especially early, he wrote a check that he couldn't imagine. And
- 1:07:45I know what he's doing. He's trying to enthrall confidence in the kids to
- 1:07:53believe, but they don't. They're not on your skill set. That's all
- 1:07:56I remember. That's all I've been saying. You're looking for some thing from
- 1:08:00a bunch of guys that there's nobody on the field that was ever as talented
- 1:08:03as Dion on his team, Travis Hunter might be the only player, and
- 1:08:11it's close to it. But Dur looks like, as I said, that's
- 1:08:15for the season, needs to go back. He needs to. I know.
- 1:08:18The bad producer was quickly he was trying to get him drafted by the
- 1:08:21Falcons in Week one. No, I just said, we do have replayed
- 1:08:29my man Donny Brown got him winning the Highs, still still winning the Heisman.
- 1:08:35He thinks that won't win the highest it's a conspiracy. They well better
- 1:08:46win two more games to be in bowl season or he will be home for
- 1:08:51Christmas. We got the bowl, were waiting on the seral. We're gonna
- 1:08:54put it in there. We're gonna get there. I don't believe, believe,
- 1:08:58Just believe, you're gonna believe in what just believing the team and the
- 1:09:01coach. You're gonna be in a bowl this year, that that prime gonna
- 1:09:09get to the Bowl. He's gonna get there. He's gonna the boys.
- 1:09:12The Boys is gonna show up for they're gonna be Arizona this week, or
- 1:09:15they're gonna be Utah next week. We're gonna believe we're gonna beat Arizona.
- 1:09:17Just believe as best as you can. Let me. Let me tell you
- 1:09:24something. I believe and believe it. I believe in believing. But there
- 1:09:30was a couple of years that I believe I was gonna run up on Serena.
- 1:09:33It never happened. I'm just saying, believing you can fly ended up
- 1:09:36in prison. I'm saying that I believe I can lie. Gotta have a
- 1:09:48little bit of common sense with that belief. That did not get rid of
- 1:09:53age. Ain't nothing but the number that's it that it did not did it
- 1:09:57so still exists. So are Gilly my man? We will see. Man,
- 1:10:03you got you gotta win two of the last three and you'll get them
- 1:10:05a bowl. Oh yeah, I want them to win. Remember I didn't
- 1:10:10I say that, Yes you did, Yes you did. I think they
- 1:10:12deserve for what they have brought to college, the pandemonium back to Colorado and
- 1:10:17bringing interest. Uh, it would be a disappointment that they did if they
- 1:10:23did not make a bowl game. And I'm not talking about like Comanchi.
- 1:10:26Greg said, sometimes they make that exception for the five and seven. I'm
- 1:10:29talking about six and six. Yes, legitimate where I went in on mind
- 1:10:33marriage. You said all I needed six wins, and okay, I got
- 1:10:38them. I got them. And then if if with my six wins and
- 1:10:42send them to the Peace Bowl over here, and I'll go to the game,
- 1:10:45I would too. I would too if they ended up in Atlanta,
- 1:10:49I'll go to the game. We all go to the game. We all
- 1:10:51go to. If they go to one of the bowls in Atlanta, seeking
- 1:10:55little stew get us some authentic Colorado while we're there so we can look a
- 1:10:59fit. No, I don't wear other team year. I don't know.
- 1:11:01The only team gear I wear places I went or paid to go there.
- 1:11:05We go, so you don't. You don't see me. I will Auburn,
- 1:11:10Vanderbilt, Tennessee State. I paid tuition and I went to Auburn.
- 1:11:16I don't. I don't wear other team stuff unless I lost a bet.
- 1:11:19I wouldn't. If I bought you a nice T shirt, you wouldn't.
- 1:11:21One time you said, if it's given to you, I thought you was
- 1:11:26like, you don't turn down? So not college? What college? You're
- 1:11:30talking about I'm gonna bring you a nice tarhel hirt. Will we win the
- 1:11:32championship that year? I thought that you said if you bring it, I
- 1:11:35must have missed on it. Yeah, you was, you was, that
- 1:11:38was what you was hoping. You heard him after a night of hanging out
- 1:11:42with me. What you sure what it was? He was saying, uh,
- 1:11:46bad producer. But I'm like you, sports jock. Either where my
- 1:11:49money goes or I have, but I don't do Okay, all right,
- 1:11:55okay, we got okay, yeah, pro sto. I might like it
- 1:12:00because of the hat or the color scheme. College stuff. I'm sorry because
- 1:12:04first of all, I hate that when people see me in something other than
- 1:12:09Auburn. I got to talk to them. I thought you went to Auburn
- 1:12:12or they asked you why you got on that Vanderbilt say, I got I
- 1:12:17grew up and I have to say my daughter was there or something like that.
- 1:12:21But it's you don't want to add any more. College is truly you
- 1:12:26don't get to do the multiple college thing. That's not really it. I
- 1:12:30asked a buddy why he never goes to Jackson State homecoming he lives in Jackson.
- 1:12:33He said because I'm Southern missed to the top period. Only you are?
- 1:12:39You know, Benedict Arnold Man, you turn on anybody got this is
- 1:12:45what I'm talking about. I'm doing enough to get us to go down to
- 1:12:48the game. If col He wants us to go down there dressed like Stefan
- 1:12:54Diggs and Von Miller in that commercial when they had on the gold soup,
- 1:13:00why would we do that? I want to be like you. I'm not
- 1:13:02there, We're not Bobby Brown. Then we're not new additions. We'll be
- 1:13:06back more sports. And I came back on HL for malice and I'm still
- 1:13:14feeling turning circles in my ninth grade dearly too many half lights above the spring
- 1:13:20and a man without a vopus like driving me safe? Stop John Boy,

- 1:13:33Have you noticed bad behavior has become normalized at interscholastic athletic events. Some fan
- 1:13:40seemed angry the lacks civility toward one another. Some even get aggressive and unruly.
- 1:13:46Time out. What is going on? This has to stop. Let's
- 1:13:53not forget school sports aren't just about winning, and they're definitely not an excuse
- 1:13:58to take your frustrations out on the official or the opponent. They're about teaching
- 1:14:01lessons like perseverance, respect, and empathy so students can learn and grow as
- 1:14:08people, not just as players. We all have a role to play in
- 1:14:12setting a good example for our students and teaching them these important values. So
- 1:14:16fans, it's time to step up your game and behave positively at interscholastic athletic

- 1:15:06like it's shiversday. And you know we don't give up because you got your
- 1:15:11birth cut a full above my mind. Got what you if you need to
- 1:15:15fill the balls, Welcome back to the show. A couple of birthdays here
- 1:15:19tip day and going into the weekend. Uh. Gordon Ramsey, who has
- 1:15:25that show where he just gets to curse everybody. That has to be a
- 1:15:28great job having a show where you just go in and just curse everybody out
- 1:15:30about food. All this is horrible. Get out burn it. You know.
- 1:15:35I've never really watched the show. I just watched the trailers. Yeah,
- 1:15:40but even from that that just has it seems like it was just a
- 1:15:42great job. Just to you're fired, you just get out of here.
- 1:15:45But they just didplorable get out. Uh. Sinz is thirty five. Gordon
- 1:15:50Ramsey is fifty eight years old. Sam Brafford, remember Sam Braffor out of
- 1:15:55Oklahoma quarterback longtime rams first pickle the draft. I think Sam was thirty seven
- 1:16:00years of age. Scarface we've been playing some of his music today is fifty
- 1:16:04three. French Montana who is not French and not from Montana. A Moroccan
- 1:16:14guy from New York who knew it's thirty nine years old. Cisco is forty
- 1:16:19five. Nick Lache is fifty, His wife Vanessa is forty nine. I
- 1:16:28was always wondering how that is to share a birthday because there's a guy that
- 1:16:32I worked with with GPB, him and his wife birthday is the same,
- 1:16:39and he had it like two weeks ago, and he said, for I
- 1:16:43think they've been married twenty seven years, he's never had a cake by hisself
- 1:16:46because I mean, his wife's birthday is the same. I was like,
- 1:16:48that's kind of until you have a wife with a birthday on your birthday,
- 1:16:54you never think about it and just have day cakes by ourselves. Yeah,
- 1:16:59Steve, he works with me at GPB as one of the producers. And
- 1:17:02until he said, he was like, yeah, we've been and he says,
- 1:17:04never had a cake by hisself, and I figured that had And then
- 1:17:09this pops up that their birthdays are on the same day. But Vanessa Lechee
- 1:17:14I forget her stage name, Carlton, Manila Oka and Nigga Oshay who's been
- 1:17:20married a while now have the same birthday. Lou Forrih, I want to
- 1:17:25ask who gets the when they give them gifts, who gets the better gift
- 1:17:29the wife or does he get a or do his kids give them equal gifts?
- 1:17:32I would have to ask him that something like that. Lufa Rigno,
- 1:17:35who played the famous character of the Hulk back in the seventies early eighties,
- 1:17:40seventy two years old. Mike Malarkey, former NFL head coach, sixty two
- 1:17:45years old. Tracy Morgan fifty five, the comedian, Warren g Is fifty
- 1:17:50three. Scottie Pippen Junior is twenty three. Zach Ertz, the big tight
- 1:17:57end. Where's Zach now? Arizona, Yes, Arizona Cardinals thirty three years
- 1:18:01of age. Teddy two Gloves Bridgewater thirty one, Dante Stalwart, former NFL
- 1:18:08receiver, forty three. Kendrick Perkins, you see him doing a lot of
- 1:18:12work on ESPN is thirty nine. Mike McCarthy, the head coach of the
- 1:18:17Cowboys. It's the Big six Old. What are y'all doing for? Mike
- 1:18:21comanchie letting him keep his shob. I'm sure Mike's like sound good to me?
- 1:18:30Quinn is on his heel, Mike, Mike McCarthy, he was my
- 1:18:33offensive coordinator two years with the Saints. Is old. Mike sixty. Less
- 1:18:39Miles, who I have to say, Less, you look good? Less
- 1:18:44Miles is seventy. I did not know Less Miles was seventy years old.
- 1:18:47I thought him about nine sixty two. Less Miles of the college football coach
- 1:18:53Wow, where's less now? Seventy? He got fired in Kansas, didn't
- 1:18:57he? Yeah, he has that. That's what I didn't know him.
- 1:19:03And Nick because Nick Saban is seventy. I don't know why I thought he
- 1:19:08was, you know, a good six eight years younger than them. But
- 1:19:11he's seventy years old. Les Myles am i Man Hall of Famer, former
- 1:19:15teammates with the Rams for five years. Isaac Bruce is fifty one years of
- 1:19:20age. Sad story coming from the Neymar camp. The soccer player, remember
- 1:19:26Neymar who's out? He towards a cl I want to say he's out for
- 1:19:30the season, but one of his friends from Brazil, and just sad that
- 1:19:34our world has gotten to this point. Louis Anna a draw Day whose Neymar's
- 1:19:46good friend out of Brazil. She's a Brazilian influencer. And young ladies or
- 1:19:53parents or brothers or anyone uncles, if you got anyone in your family,
- 1:19:58because this is not just young people's stuff, old people's stuff as well.
- 1:20:05Luanna passed away from complications of LiPo. It's only twenty nine years of age.
- 1:20:15She was a Brazilian influencer and I saw the pictures and I guess you
- 1:20:20know, she was the light post. She didn't look like a person who
- 1:20:27ever would have needed LiPo. But I guess the LiPo was letting her look
- 1:20:32like it was computer generated she wanted to have. You know, when you
- 1:20:39watch animated movies and they present the bodies of the anime like it's just every
- 1:20:44muscle clearly, and that's just not really human. But when I read the
- 1:20:50story, to see someone losing their life to complications of LiPo, it's just
- 1:20:57that's because in our society, especially even here, like to see how people
- 1:21:00will just modify or continue to go something that you know, used to be
- 1:21:06like something botox was something late forties. Right now it's twenty year olds getting
- 1:21:15botox. Yes, how do you unwrinkle a young face? I don't know,
- 1:21:20you know. And to see so lippo, that whole industry, it
- 1:21:27just seems to be. But to see someone twenty nine and complications of life,
- 1:21:30especially with something like LiPo, you never really think. Well, And
- 1:21:33that's what someone explained to me is that part of the danger of LiPo is
- 1:21:40it's so common that people think that what's the worst that can happen? They
- 1:21:45go into it. They don't do the research to get the right type of
- 1:21:48doctors. Not everybody knows what they're doing. The stomach area of the hips.
- 1:21:55A lot of these smaller blood vessels are in those areas, and they
- 1:21:59can be damaged during these procedures and people not notice until it's too late.
- 1:22:04And I was thinking more of that. She probably just went too far,
- 1:22:11Like you know, it's probably you've done it too often. We probably got
- 1:22:15that one area. That's now what you're starting to get to where it's taking
- 1:22:19things and it could make some problems. It doesn't sound like this is my
- 1:22:24first life post suction. It sounds like I've just been doing it over and
- 1:22:29over too much, So go real quick. No, I was just what
- 1:22:31do you call that again? When they get the lips and all that stuff
- 1:22:34around the eyes? They started around Yeah, they started around twenty something.
- 1:22:41Yeah, that's what I said. Yeah, that's why I was just like
- 1:22:43trying to figure out what is going on around your eyes that you got to
- 1:22:45do stuff like that at that age. I don't think there's anything. I
- 1:22:48just think that it's some people part of the conversation. I've had some botos
- 1:22:54stuff. We'll be back with more to Sports Socks Show right after this with
- 1:22:58you. I feel like face the waves with the Babbabi and may one shade.

- 1:26:26welcome. I said this one shock show. I'm this what shock Wayne Candy
- 1:26:29at begin another show. I just wanted to let you know how you can
- 1:26:33realize you might be a hater, just in case. Now on my show,
- 1:26:41we know who the biggest hater is on our panel. We don't have
- 1:26:45to say names and produce them. No, I said, we don't need
- 1:26:48to say name bad produce them. That sounds like a hater the vote.
- 1:26:50We don't need to say names though, sounds so I don't want me to
- 1:26:54say that sound like somebody. I'm just saying, we know who the biggest
- 1:26:58hater is on the square, and it ain't me, it ain't command you
- 1:27:02Greg, and it's not the sports yab Okay, I'll say that it's neither
- 1:27:05one of us. But for you out there that read the article and questioned
- 1:27:15why this person was part of the article, you are a hater, You
- 1:27:24are a size ism, you are a position is. I'm just throwing it
- 1:27:30because I like that, And that's because Philadelphia Eagle center Jason Kelsey. It's
- 1:27:40part of People's magazine Sexiest Man Alive. That's what I'm talking about. Finally
- 1:27:45some offensive line respect, put some spec on the old line. All y'all
- 1:27:49want us to do is block Huh. See what I'm saying, How y'all
- 1:27:53just treat us like we just one dimension them. I've been going through that
- 1:27:57all my life. We just one dimensionalm They're just the old line. We
- 1:28:00don't have no name. We individuals see me, you don't see me.
- 1:28:05See we know you. We know why you keep saying old line. Well,
- 1:28:10it's it's left guard, right guard. Those are your names. No,
- 1:28:14no, no center that's your name. My name is you play?
- 1:28:18I play center for the Eagles. That's your name center. No, I'm
- 1:28:23Jason Kelsey, I said, I play center for the sorry old linement,
- 1:28:29mister center line. Everybody so technical. Now, it's the one job that
- 1:28:34we get totally grouped. It is the old line. Ain't blocking, They
- 1:28:40don't. They don't try to point out a different side of the old line.
- 1:28:44It's just the old line. Man. We got to fix our old
- 1:28:46line. Dean said, you got to talk to the old line. He
- 1:28:49ain't give us no old line names. Just we have to pride me with
- 1:28:53the old line. And somebody sit there like I'm doing my job. That's
- 1:28:57no. Y'all only want us when you want us, and then you want
- 1:29:00was just the work. And then Jason Kelsey make the man sexiest man alive.
- 1:29:04And then y'all rumbling, how can an old lineman were sexy? We're
- 1:29:13sexy because nothing says sexy quite like this that that don't say come get it,
- 1:29:25nothing, nothing will nothing will say come get it quite like that,
- 1:29:29Jason Kelsey. And you know, I'm quite sure you thought they had misprinted
- 1:29:32and put his brother Travis. That's what most of you probably thought, man,
- 1:29:35they don't got Jason and Travis confused. See that Jason, Travis thought
- 1:29:42they had him confuted. He on some man Nayden gave you my ward and
- 1:29:46Jason's like, Noah, bro, you see it. You see the sexy.
- 1:29:53You see the second all our life, all my life that I'm a
- 1:29:57sexy one. You just the more athletic, handsome, in shape one.
- 1:30:03Correct, I'm the sex I got the sex appeal. Yeah, sexy is
- 1:30:06sexy is different? Correct? You got the six pack and all that,
- 1:30:10the chisel chin, all that, I got the barrel chess flat. But
- 1:30:15but it's sexy though, Yeah. Yeah, look at commands like, I
- 1:30:19guess that's that's not really commands. You Greg feel like his stock just went
- 1:30:24u. Yesterday's price is not today's price a little bit. The O line
- 1:30:30is in style. Finally. In some Love People magazine, Jason the Center
- 1:30:34for the Eagles. UH is part of a group. He was alongside with
- 1:30:40actors Pedro Pascal Timothy Chalomont. I know Timothy Chalomon is the lead character of
- 1:30:47Doune. I don't want to say pa Pedro Pascal was the Mandalorian, yes,
- 1:30:54and that the character he plays on Disney, the Mandalorian. You take
- 1:30:58those two Jason Kell's, see adding Usher, Jamie Fox and Lenny Kravitz.
- 1:31:05That was the list. The winner went to Patrick Dempsey, which I haven't
- 1:31:12seen Patrick Dempsey. That's the guy from Raising Atomy, but he hasn't acted
- 1:31:16anything. Well, he said he's been running up for Sexiest Man Alive like
- 1:31:20six or seven years in a row. Okay, okay, well I'm not
- 1:31:25forget who won. I'm just trying to say, finally, line love,
- 1:31:30but it's gonna cause dissension. One hundred years of football and we finally get
- 1:31:34some old line and the only name we know is Chason Kelsey, and it's
- 1:31:39gonna cause animosity because everybody's going to be like the old line needs to look
- 1:31:44at Jason as an example, and everybody gonna be like his name. You
- 1:31:47got the hater saying that the Kelsey's are ruining the NFL with there, with
- 1:31:54all this going on, with the with all the winning waiting their faces being
- 1:32:00see oh yeah, I'm not you know what I'm saying. Imagine how they
- 1:32:03ruining the NFL. Anybody did they shoot? Anybody? Did they can't believe
- 1:32:11moms ain't did the commercial yet that's what I have. I guess you know
- 1:32:15they ruined the NFL by playing each other last year. That's how they did
- 1:32:20it. From winning Super Bowls and winning NFC championships, they've been and they
- 1:32:28bat on two brothers being in the Super Bowl, and so they cleaned up
- 1:32:30in Vegas too. But I just wanted to make sure if you saw the
- 1:32:34story and question why Jason Kelsey was on the list, that makes a hater.
- 1:32:41That's the trade of hater. The old line. Love is strong.
- 1:32:45Finally, that's how deep it is. Think about it. I'm cheering for
- 1:32:48another man to be on the Sexy List because we've been down so long.
- 1:32:51As just one of us get out, it's like watching somebody get paroleed like
- 1:32:58man, dude right this time, Jason Kelsey on the list, and I
- 1:33:04know he's given. He probably sent because they looked like there's they're kind of
- 1:33:08comical brothers like Eli and Payden. I can imagine him like overnighting Travis a
- 1:33:15poster size picture of him with two thousand copies of the magazine, and he
- 1:33:27charged to Travis. He charged the delivery to him. Because I've been telling
- 1:33:30you this, I've been telling you remembering the night in Remember you kept looking
- 1:33:35in the mirror and I kept telling you women love all this. You used
- 1:33:40to come down on me. You're too big. And Jason is the oldest
- 1:33:46I think by like two years. He's the center. I thought he might
- 1:33:51retire, but came back from one more year, and I'm quite sure he's
- 1:33:56going to have You know, they're gonna pick up with the Manning's left off
- 1:34:00when they retire. They should, Yeah, because people love the jolly Christmas
- 1:34:03look. You definitely could put him into Christmas every time. He's a Hallmark.
- 1:34:08He's a Hallmark. He's a Hallmark gift. So he's thing right there.
- 1:34:16And I know bad producer saw it and he was hating on Jason.
- 1:34:20He thought it was supposed to be Travis. No. Never, the girl
- 1:34:25told him, yeah, you know Jason, and he was like, oh,
- 1:34:27no, that's Travis. And then the girl said no. He showed
- 1:34:30him the picture and he was like, no, that's a misprint. A
- 1:34:35tuba player down at Texas Southern punched a fan while performing up in the stands
- 1:34:43and continue to continue to blow his tuba. Big Kenny saw this and was
- 1:34:50really taken back that no one arrested the tuba player. People love tuba players.
- 1:34:58Obviously he knew. I didn't know up until now, but the Texas
- 1:35:03Southern tuba player they were playing Jackson State, Is that correct. The Jackson
- 1:35:12State fan can be seen in the footage aggressively yelling at the tuba player who
- 1:35:17is attempting to continue to play, and at some point the tuba player had
- 1:35:24said he had enough. I guess you think you think it's an audio to
- 1:35:29it or was there some of the audio video. We'll try to upload that
- 1:35:33if you're watching Facebook the video and he hit him three times really hard.
- 1:35:43Well, that is the tuba player, and tuba players usually have a little
- 1:35:45sized, little girth. Tubas are heavy. You don't really find small tuba
- 1:35:50players. They might be short. But it got a little stockiness to the
- 1:35:54shoulder area. Uh, and he had had enough of that. Jackson State
- 1:35:58fan gave him and delivered a little bit to him and went on to play
- 1:36:03Big Kenny. What was your issue that nobody stepped in? First of all,
- 1:36:09there didn't seem any security. There didn't seem to be anyone caught off
- 1:36:15guard by the fact that a member of the band who is currently performing with
- 1:36:19the band took a break small brick, mind you, to two piece a
- 1:36:25fan who looked like he may have sustained some injuries, and then the tuba
- 1:36:30player was allowed to go back to playing. I didn't see security come over.
- 1:36:32I didn't see nobody off a dude to gatorade. It was like,
- 1:36:36how is this allowed in college athletics. We've already talked about how they're talking
- 1:36:44about sign stealing when that's been something that's been part of athletics for decades.
- 1:36:48How is this going under the radar when everything else is so on the center
- 1:36:54of the target. Well, fights and stands and fights. Oh drum line,
- 1:37:00they fought each other, the two bands. I'm just making I'm just
- 1:37:05because how the first thing I was gonna say is no, I didn't say
- 1:37:09that, but I'm quite sure with this being uploaded, someone is going to
- 1:37:14have to go. It's just based on who would have seen it, you
- 1:37:17know too. Usually the tubers are way up there at the top, so
- 1:37:21the band director and all those people that with all the power probably didn't see
- 1:37:25it. The band. One of the band directors actually moved the fan out
- 1:37:28of the probably came up to get them. Okay, So we'll see.
- 1:37:31I'm quite sure we'll hear more about it as the incident spreads. But tuber
- 1:37:36players usually have a little toughness to them. Now, they're not like they're
- 1:37:40not like the saxophonists. The xylophone. Tuber player usually will he'll they'll go
- 1:37:45a couple of steps with you because they got a little girth to him.
- 1:37:48But he kept old Baz. He went right back to Jaim. We'll be

- 1:41:17is considering having a two day draft the same two rounds, uh, but
- 1:41:24taking a page from the NFL, don't do it, NBA, don't do
- 1:41:29it. Nobody watches the second round of the NBA draft anyway. And if
- 1:41:33you want to be honest, after y'all get out of the lottery, everybody
- 1:41:39turns off. Be honest with yourself. A lot of y'all be just lying
- 1:41:44and try to pretend you kind of get through that first twelve whatever the lottery,
- 1:41:49and then you move on. How many people you've never seen pick number
- 1:41:54twenty nine of the NBA driver hands who's watched past the top fifteen NBA draft?
- 1:42:00I can really make it past the time I apparently get top to five.
- 1:42:03I try. I see unless it's like say the Hawks have number nine,
- 1:42:09But it's really I'm interested in who's the first five or six picks,
- 1:42:13and once they get past the four or five people I might have heard of,
- 1:42:16especially in these new drafts now twenty years ago, where you had a
- 1:42:19lot of people who stayed in college, so you was able to learn a
- 1:42:24lot of the name. But when you have a lot of kids now that
- 1:42:28don't even go. They go to these academies, or they go overseas,
- 1:42:30or they go to what's the place downtown? Over time Elite overtime, Elite
- 1:42:34overtime, elite had like three or four guys drafted in the first fifteen picks
- 1:42:40or something. I had never heard of them even they right here, So
- 1:42:45and Bishop Sycamore is sitting over there like, man, how they get in?
- 1:42:48Yeah, I don't think you have enough because it's only two rounds,
- 1:42:50which is thirty people, and you're trying to I mean, excuse me,
- 1:42:55sixty people and you're trying to take one day for the first round and another.
- 1:43:00Just seems like you're doing too much. As I continue to say with
- 1:43:03the league, what's wrong with the league? Aren't y'all making enough money?
- 1:43:09What is it you're now? You because you can start going where you start
- 1:43:13messing it up, Adam Silver. People don't think that you start doing too
- 1:43:18much. You don't added too many things to it. Now, just let
- 1:43:21it go. Nobody was ever sitting around like, you know, what,
- 1:43:26do you think they should start earlier? Because I think they started like eight
- 1:43:30o'clock. The draft starts at eight and it goes to twelve twelve maybe so
- 1:43:35if they start earlier, they started like six, and the reason they started
- 1:43:40and the team with the first pick at least they should know like who they
- 1:43:43can't pick already, But Greg, you know the reason why they do did
- 1:43:45start that like that? They start doing that fan night thing for the fans
- 1:43:49on draft nights in the different arenas because the Hawks every year they have a
- 1:43:54lot where the fans come in and you sit there. That's that's the thing
- 1:43:58that the I've noticed NBA start and try to do like nights like that.
- 1:44:01They try to get the fans in who don't normally get to come to the
- 1:44:04arena or maybe a night we got the areno come down for the draft night,
- 1:44:09you get to sit in. So why not just encourage those people to
- 1:44:12buy? Take or how about this want y'all want something new for Just go
- 1:44:15ahead on and put the casino part of these stadiums in the places. Pay
- 1:44:20the Congress, get them to vote, and let them put the because that's
- 1:44:26all you're doing, that's all you really want. This is all this little
- 1:44:30we're gonna do this or gonna open the bar early. All you're trying to
- 1:44:32do is set the stage. Just go ahead on and get the license for
- 1:44:35the casino and then you just hold the place. But trying to add these
- 1:44:39little tractions. I am a fan, but I'm not coming down here to
- 1:44:43palle around with y'all another eight hours over nothing. The people in the draft
- 1:44:48ain't even there on the second day, No, so how would I be?
- 1:44:54Yeah, that's just taking it. The NFL was always two days.
- 1:44:58They stretched it to three, but it was always two days. The first
- 1:45:02day used to be really the first two rounds, and then the next day
- 1:45:06was rounds three through seven. That's how it went. Now they're taking just
- 1:45:13picking sixty people into two days over a draft that nobody even knows anybody out
- 1:45:17of the first five six people at number forty two. I think you're trying
- 1:45:24to make interesting than you really are. Say Ku Smith, who passed away,
- 1:45:29a long time contributor to our show, passed away a couple of years
- 1:45:32ago. Seiku now in his hometown Grand Rapids, Michigan, will they're voting
- 1:45:40to name rename as street, Say Ku Smith, is what the bat producers
- 1:45:45brought us November to fourteenth. Yeah, they're gonna have a vote on it.
- 1:45:47The street actually name was Auburn Street in the Grand Rapids. Seiku grew
- 1:45:51up on the street, and so this is just another honor that they as
- 1:45:57he in the postpartum post animost as Seku was posthumous, possumous guy as he
- 1:46:03moved as he has moved on. Uh, He's been a lot of things
- 1:46:08like the Hawk's media room is named after him, several other things have at
- 1:46:12his school. And he was a big Jackson State support, I mean,
- 1:46:15and so you know it's wu is. He was one of those guys.
- 1:46:19And I'm happy for his family and for him on this honor. I have
- 1:46:24a cousin who pastors a church in Grand Rapids. I'm gonna call him and
- 1:46:28ask him to put some of his people and his influence behind that. Yes,
- 1:46:32I just hope that is a good street and not it's Grand Rapids ain't
- 1:46:39too much cracking potholes much, because that's that's all. I would hate that
- 1:46:44you if something you named me after, you know, it's just swelling Grand
- 1:46:48Rapids. If they have crack, it's got to be only home one because
- 1:46:54they ain't got about four streets and Grand Rapids. So you know what I'm
- 1:46:57saying. In different cities they take it. And now is such and such
- 1:47:01hollow well, and it's like, I'm quite sure he would like to get
- 1:47:03up out of the grave and come take his name back off of off of
- 1:47:10banking. They try to change it looking for history. I know you'd like
- 1:47:15to go into give you a little tid bit. And it was just a
- 1:47:19quick comment. Come on, I needed to move on. He needed to
- 1:47:23move on. Purdue, the chicken congomler who gives us a lot of our
- 1:47:30chicken and turkey port processing plant, they have released a limited and one of
- 1:47:40you have to go get us a bag. Where can I buy it?
- 1:47:43No, no, no, I'll give you twenty dollars to get it.
- 1:47:45But one of y'all have to get us a bag. One. We'll be
- 1:47:48trying this on Monday. They have chicks mix and it is a human mix
- 1:48:02of their chicken feed that they want to make sure that you can understand what
- 1:48:08they're feeding their chickens. But this feed now is for human consumption. So
- 1:48:14big Kenny, Big Kenny brought us this story. So big Kenny, I
- 1:48:16would expect the bag of chick mix on Monday. Bags. No no,
- 1:48:24no, no, no, no, no no no. We don't want
- 1:48:26you wasting money on two bags no what I'm saying the other bag gonna be
- 1:48:29a special bag for the special bag. Oh no, I just want the
- 1:48:35chick mix so we can so we can experience this new product that's a limited
- 1:48:43release where this is what they actually will feed their chickens. For all you
- 1:48:47people who keep thinking they're giving their chickens antibiotics and different things, they're actually
- 1:48:55packaging what they feed the chickens they say is good for human consumption. Be
- 1:49:00trying it out on Monday, so we all in on that. Everybody say
- 1:49:06amen, Amen, Amen, I mean amen, We'll be back to sports
- 1:49:12section after this. Wait back at it dump they laugh at it blah blah,
- 1:49:18just enough in the heart on the south side of housed to take to
- 1:49:21speaking your mark blah blah. When you went all the time playing Dominoles.

- 1:49:36talk about something exciting, life insurance. Three quarters of Americans believe that coverage
- 1:49:41represents a critical piece of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have
- 1:49:45life insurance. When I was twenty five, me and my wife were just
- 1:49:48getting started with our family and thought we lived forever. Life insurance was the
- 1:49:51last thing on my mind. What about you? Will you be leaving benefits
- 1:49:56or bills? When I was forty, with a kid in college and bills
- 1:49:59piling up, worry how my family will survive without me? That's what I'm
- 1:50:01in an appointment with the insurance informant. Information gives you power, and life
- 1:50:05insurance gives your family security no matter what stage of life you're in. Now
- 1:50:10that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I'll lead my family that bills
- 1:50:13their benefits. The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty,
- 1:50:15whether you earn a little or a lot, All you need is the insurance
- 1:50:19informant to help you build a foundation of security, because without you, your
- 1:50:24family will have two options, benefits or bills. Which legacy will you leave

- 1:51:14for the school board when we put a spin on life and sports and how
- 1:51:18they intermingle. On the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy. Regulators you regulate
- 1:51:30any stealing of his property. We're damn good too, but you can't be
- 1:51:34any geek off the street. Gotta be handy with the steel if you know
- 1:51:39what I mean. Or and you keep regular Mama, Welcome back to the
- 1:51:45Sportshock Show. I'm the Sportshock Wayne gandee h. Olivia Donn, the gymnasts
- 1:51:51from LSU, says that security guards now we'll travel with her and LSU uh
- 1:51:59this season. Olivia Dunn, who's one of the top n I L participants
- 1:52:04in college now says that she needs security when she travels, which is funny
- 1:52:12because teams travel have security. So I guess she will have her personal bodyguard
- 1:52:18go along with her. And as I said, since she's been talking this
- 1:52:24way, you got to realize some of this she brought on yourself, not
- 1:52:27in a bad way, but this is part of what goes along with fame.
- 1:52:31It goes along with the provocativeness that you sell, that you will have
- 1:52:38those fans that will take it too much and because of how you're putting it
- 1:52:42out there, because I think social media. The one thing about the social
- 1:52:45media different than the old media seems that social media, which I can't sit
- 1:52:49here and say, oh, I'm on all the time saying, but it
- 1:52:51does deliver it as though we are friends, yes, a more friends,
- 1:52:57like you really know the person where you don't when you used to have to
- 1:53:00read it in the magazine or the newspaper or just in the one. But
- 1:53:04the clicking on the person's page or something. I guess it puts you more
- 1:53:08in because that's how you would click on a friend. Yeah, and then
- 1:53:13but this is not your friend. You don't know this person and all that
- 1:53:16kind of stuff. But it kind of takes that veil away as I don't
- 1:53:20have any restrictions when I meet you. And it's interesting I make videos on
- 1:53:26social media as a content creator, but you try and engage the people with
- 1:53:30you the person, but they see something in the background of your video and
- 1:53:36now they kind of Oh, man I got that in my backyard too,
- 1:53:41you know what I'm saying. So I don't mean we neighbors, but when
- 1:53:44they run into you, all of that spills out onto you, like man
- 1:53:47I got the same cubs hating man I do this and it can be overwhelming.
- 1:53:53But I wanted to ask, if this becomes more and more, as
- 1:53:59she's say, is of a challenge for her, would it become a liability
- 1:54:04for the university. Look, maybe you just need to go be a one
- 1:54:09of these influence. The university is going to continue to be that university as
- 1:54:15they always have been. Most of these problems are going to end up with
- 1:54:17you having to address them yourself, right, And that's probably why the bodyguard
- 1:54:20like, these are the people. We're not hiring someone special just for you.
- 1:54:25These are the two people that follow the team and if you need to
- 1:54:29be because you when you leave or go somewhere, They're not here for They're
- 1:54:33here for the gymnastics team, right, not for your individual protection protection.
- 1:54:40So that that goes with my question, So that that that's those resources is
- 1:54:44from her instead, that's not coming from the university or anything. Those additional
- 1:54:47bodyguards. It didn't say whether, but I would imagine it would have to
- 1:54:50be from her. I know a lot of people because when I watch it's
- 1:54:54like everybody, I don't even know what some of these guys. Then,
- 1:54:59if you're Do and Caleb and Olivia and making all this money, why is
- 1:55:03the college paying the twenty nine thousand dollars for the tuition? And I'm trying
- 1:55:09to figure out it becomes like, why are we what would that be?
- 1:55:15We could be giving that somewhere else, you know, because it seems like
- 1:55:17it's in significant. That's why I said it's basically minor league professional sports.
- 1:55:23That's what it eventually becomes. Right, because the tuition, you're not even
- 1:55:28staying in places that we put you in anymore. We gave you twelve hundred
- 1:55:31dollars allowance for rent. You're in some forty five hundred dollars penthouse, right,
- 1:55:36I gotta make up the difference. No, that's what I'm saying.
- 1:55:40It's not like you're staying in the two bedroom with you know, with some
- 1:55:44roommate, another dude sleeping on the couch. You got a ten thousand dollar
- 1:55:47flat screen TV right up in here. Come on now, these guys making
- 1:55:51that kind of they're making real professional money. Yes, yes, millions,
- 1:55:58millions of dollars. They're not in some dorm, the dorm that we remember
- 1:56:02and imagine. They're in one of these these condo buildings staying if that city
- 1:56:10provides it. Now, it might not be those kind of buildings in Athens.
- 1:56:14But Caleb Williams living at USC he probably neighbors would Ron Howard's son,
- 1:56:21and they're all cuddling dogs. They're out there looking at the dog in the
- 1:56:25little doggie park from some high rise, looking at the ocean. Strikes over,
- 1:56:30strikes over. Caleb. Yeah, man, I'm just cuddling. I'm
- 1:56:32glass shows are coming back. I can understand. It's like, imagine if
- 1:56:36Georgia State was trying to big, huge university, and you know shaduor Sanders
- 1:56:45was going to Georgia State, he wouldn't be in that little dorm. Kennedy
- 1:56:48Raise or even Buckhead looking at Lennox balls across the street John used to live,
- 1:56:59or even a better is that if nl L was in when Kenny Anderson
- 1:57:01or like those guys at Georgia Tech. Just imagine if if George Man in
- 1:57:06Atlanta. So we will see how that goes with that young lady. One
- 1:57:11thing for real, I was reading because I don't understand and maybe you guys,
- 1:57:15what's a speedy bag? What's a million dollar bag? What makes a
- 1:57:18bag a million dollars? The price? What makes it? Like? What
- 1:57:27would you have done in it? It's got like jewels in it or something?
- 1:57:31He has a million dollar design bag. He's catching some flat from Peter
- 1:57:38because there was somehow the processing of the crocodiles that they're killed for the bag.
- 1:57:44But the bag is supposed to be on the market at a million dollars
- 1:57:46for a bag. Now the bag doesn't It doesn't roll itself. It doesn't
- 1:57:51just materialize when you blink your eyes. It's a bag that if you saw
- 1:57:57look like maybe it was a full five thousand dollars. I was wondering what
- 1:58:02makes it a million dollars? The other other when I say that, I'm
- 1:58:09saying, other than you selling me the brand, right, what makes something
- 1:58:15like that? And sportshock? There are some people who would hear you say
- 1:58:20it looks like a four thousand dollar bag and still be on some what But
- 1:58:26there are I would have to ask my wife about this because a speedy bag
- 1:58:30is in particular style size of bag, so the larger ones would probably be
- 1:58:36more than a million dollars, I'd imagine, And it's it's all. It's
- 1:58:41all the same as when they say Jordan paid seventeen million for car, they
- 1:58:45probably get, well, but a car, I can sleep in it.
- 1:58:49I can do a lot of different things. No, no, And they
- 1:58:51didn't give it to for real. He's the designer of the bag. They
- 1:58:56hired him in place of the young man that passed away, Virgil Virgil,
- 1:59:00to be their designer. And I was just thinking, you know, other
- 1:59:04than you telling me you're making me pay nine hundred and fifty thousand dollars for
- 1:59:09your name in the bag really is fifty grand and I'm paying nine fifty for
- 1:59:14your name? What could make a bag? Because the material would have to
- 1:59:19be from Saturn, right, I would imagine crocodile would have to still be
- 1:59:26moving. I would have to dodge my bag when I got it on my
- 1:59:30arm. Crackodile from Australia. Then, and we are in the ocean.
- 1:59:40The truth is he will throw your in the ocean. It's time to wrap
- 1:59:45things up. On The Sports June Show with Wayne candy from when you decided
- 2:00:21the Ocean against the sport shocks Esta minute to Vinning. We'd like to thank
- 2:00:25you for tuning in today a show. We hope you have a great weekend.
- 2:00:30Remember college football winding up big games Michigan State, Penn State, Ole
- 2:00:36miss Uga tonight Thursday Night football, the Panthers of Carolina taking on the Bears
- 2:00:43of Chicago. But today our ocean, and this story has just been going
- 2:00:50on and on between this couple who divorced, but they seem to still be
- 2:00:57six degrees of separation. And that's the great Earl Thomas, the safety for
- 2:01:03the Seahawks and the Ravens. His story continues, and this time I have
- 2:01:11to side with Earl. The Jeffson Parish Sheriff Office arrested at thirty eight year
- 2:01:16old Kevin J. Thompson who stole one point nine million dollars from Earl Thomas.
- 2:01:30He impersonated Earl Thomas and stole one point nine million dollars. He has
- 2:01:38been arrested. And the kicker is the connection that is going to af floor
- 2:01:45You, mister Thompson is dating Earl Thomas's ex wife. You Reggedy Reglarly regular
- 2:02:00come on Jefferson parents. How else could the man she was in on it?
- 2:02:05She was in on it right, No, hell has no fur like
- 2:02:10a woman's go on? How does she impersonate? How did Thompson impersonate Earl?
- 2:02:15To spilled one point nine million? And you think his wife, ex
- 2:02:19wife didn't have something to do with it, Go ahead and put some cuffs
- 2:02:24on her too. You got to, but Earl, hopefully you'll get your
- 2:02:28money back. Most likely you won't, but at least they found Kevin J.
- 2:02:33Thompson guilty and hopefully soon they will find your ex wife, Nina Thomas
- 2:02:41guilty as well. So Nina and Kevin fuck up. Clank says that Kevin
- 2:02:58was cashing NFL checks, stealing bank accounts, transferring money, all as impersonating
- 2:03:04Earl. His wife had all the colds, didn't she for Big Kenny?
- 2:03:10Command you Greg the back producing the call and apologized mix wife, I'm sorry,
- 2:03:15I'm sorry. We'll see you in the future. From The Boys Shock Show Peace
