- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome to in Tune of Coaching with Amy Radio. I'm
- 0:05Speaker 1: Amy and this is your sacred space for spirituality, intuition,
- 0:09Speaker 1: and metaphysical wisdom. So I just did a show on
- 0:16Speaker 1: when you're stunsing it might be time for change. So
- 0:20Speaker 1: what do you do when you know you know it's
- 0:24Speaker 1: time for change and you've identified a path or an
- 0:29Speaker 1: area of focus that is exciting to you. What can
- 0:35Speaker 1: you do to ensure that that change is as much
- 0:41Speaker 1: in flow as possible. That's what we're going to talk about.
- 0:44Speaker 1: So how to move forward when you are clear it
- 0:47Speaker 1: is time to make a change. And again, this could
- 0:51Speaker 1: be the moment where you're ending a relationship, or you're
- 0:54Speaker 1: ready to change jobs, or you want to make a
- 0:57Speaker 1: shift in your professional life. Maybe you want to start
- 0:59Speaker 1: a bit business. However, maybe you want to make a
- 1:03Speaker 1: shift in your business, or you want to make a
- 1:06Speaker 1: change in your body, your lifestyle, whatever it is. I'm
- 1:12Speaker 1: going to give you some suggestions to help you guide
- 1:16Speaker 1: your change in a spiritually powerful way. Well, first thing,
- 1:23Speaker 1: you got to own the change, Own that you are
- 1:27Speaker 1: making a change, that this is a turning point. So
- 1:31Speaker 1: you've already felt this excitement of possibility. Let yourself feel
- 1:36Speaker 1: that excitement. Those peaks of excitement are sacred cues from spirit.
- 1:43Speaker 1: They're your confirmation that you're on the right path. And
- 1:48Speaker 1: because we're human, it's normal to backtrack. You feel that
- 1:53Speaker 1: wave of excitement and then you get scared or you
- 1:56Speaker 1: get confused. And it's because us, as human beings, our
- 2:01Speaker 1: nervous system craves safety. But if you stay committed to
- 2:08Speaker 1: feeling excited, you will have the momentum to move you forward,
- 2:14Speaker 1: and that momentum will create a sense of safety for you.
- 2:19Speaker 1: You'll start to cultivate that safety from within you. So
- 2:23Speaker 1: what I would say is give yourself seven to fourteen
- 2:26Speaker 1: days where you consciously focus on your change. Energetically. You're
- 2:34Speaker 1: going to journal, You're going to script what you want
- 2:37Speaker 1: your new chapter to be, You're going to visualize it,
- 2:40Speaker 1: and every day you're going to get clearer and clearer
- 2:42Speaker 1: about what that change is for you. I want you
- 2:45Speaker 1: to stay away from strategy and more focus on feeling
- 2:52Speaker 1: and have a clear picture or mental understand of you
- 3:01Speaker 1: at the end of this change. And I want you
- 3:07Speaker 1: to really step into fully and completely the you on
- 3:13Speaker 1: the other side of this change, because, again, because we're human, beings.
- 3:19Speaker 1: It can be easy to get confused, to get to
- 3:22Speaker 1: go into fear, and then we start to move into
- 3:26Speaker 1: like a wishy washy vibration. And when we are in
- 3:30Speaker 1: a wishy washy vibration, that's what we see and we
- 3:34Speaker 1: make wishy washy choices and then we create wishy washy results.
- 3:41Speaker 1: So just give yourself the time to be in the
- 3:45Speaker 1: excitement and if there is urgency around this change. I mean,
- 3:55Speaker 1: I think there are very few things where there needs
- 3:57Speaker 1: to be absolute urgency. But if you are feeling a
- 4:01Speaker 1: sense of urgency where you're like, I got to get
- 4:03Speaker 1: going now, shorten it down to give yourself just three
- 4:07Speaker 1: full days to be in the excitement, to envision, to script,
- 4:12Speaker 1: to get clear, to make a vision board if you
- 4:15Speaker 1: wish to, before you start taking any type of practical
- 4:21Speaker 1: action inspired action, and I think your expired action will
- 4:27Speaker 1: be far clearer if you take the time to really
- 4:29Speaker 1: lock in the feeling of where you're going, who are
- 4:33Speaker 1: you on the other side of this change, what is
- 4:35Speaker 1: it like? And then after that this is something that
- 4:42Speaker 1: I think I see often and I've been there too, definitely,
- 4:47Speaker 1: I've been here too. You got to leave the past
- 4:50Speaker 1: in the past. Often we want to make a change
- 4:53Speaker 1: and we forget that we have to commit to leaving
- 5:00Speaker 1: the past in the past. Often when people make changes,
- 5:05Speaker 1: they try to recreate their old life, just without the problems.
- 5:09Speaker 1: But that doesn't work. If you try to recreate the past,
- 5:13Speaker 1: you'll still attract problems because you're acting from a place
- 5:17Speaker 1: of fear. You don't want to let go. I call
- 5:20Speaker 1: this standing in the middle energetically, very much along the
- 5:24Speaker 1: lines of trying to take a lot of action before
- 5:27Speaker 1: you've really locked in what's on the other side. And
- 5:30Speaker 1: this holds true for anything, whether you're going through a
- 5:34Speaker 1: divorce or changing careers. Really get clear, feel that excitement,
- 5:41Speaker 1: let yourself feel that excitement, and then commit to leaving
- 5:45Speaker 1: the past in the past. So you have to trust
- 5:51Speaker 1: the unknowns. That's what's tripping us up. That's why we're
- 5:55Speaker 1: trying to take the past with us as we're scared
- 5:57Speaker 1: of the unknown. Trust that you were building a new life.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Faith and trust need to be your foundation, and the
- 6:08Speaker 1: only way you're going to get to that faith and
- 6:09Speaker 1: trust is you got to fully and completely lead the
- 6:12Speaker 1: past in the past. Carl Young once said, we cannot
- 6:15Speaker 1: live the afternoon of life according to the program of
- 6:19Speaker 1: Life's Morning. That's what change requires, a new program, a
- 6:24Speaker 1: new way of being. I know when I was going
- 6:26Speaker 1: through my divorce, and initially it was very amicable. I
- 6:36Speaker 1: looked around my life right like, you know, we were
- 6:38Speaker 1: living in a condo in Oakland in a nice neighborhood,
- 6:43Speaker 1: and I was like, Oh, I'm just going to go
- 6:45Speaker 1: and find another condo to rent, and I did. I did,
- 6:51Speaker 1: and it never came together. For this reason, I was
- 6:55Speaker 1: trying to basically, with all due respect, out my ex
- 7:01Speaker 1: husband out of the scenario and keep everything else. No,
- 7:04Speaker 1: there needed to be a whole recreation. There, a whole
- 7:09Speaker 1: recreation because the truth is that life was built with
- 7:14Speaker 1: his energy too, and so even if I tried to
- 7:17Speaker 1: recreate it, there would still always be something missing. I
- 7:20Speaker 1: think that's why it didn't come together. I needed to
- 7:24Speaker 1: build a life based on my energy, and so that
- 7:28Speaker 1: requires to really know that you have to leave the
- 7:30Speaker 1: past in the past. So yeah, we think it's a
- 7:35Speaker 1: lateral move, but it's not, and we need to see
- 7:38Speaker 1: it as moving up closer to who we are. And
- 7:43Speaker 1: when I say up, it's not that oh, whatever you're leaving,
- 7:46Speaker 1: you're putting down or it's beneath you or anything like that. No,
- 7:50Speaker 1: you are moving closer to you right with this change,
- 7:54Speaker 1: whatever it might be. So you need to start building
- 7:57Speaker 1: a life based on you, and you might not know
- 8:00Speaker 1: what that is. And so trying to recreate the past
- 8:03Speaker 1: can definitely put you, put you right back where you
- 8:08Speaker 1: said you didn't want to be. Oftentimes people do this
- 8:12Speaker 1: with jobs. Oh, I just need to get this job,
- 8:15Speaker 1: and then they wind up attracting maybe they don't have
- 8:18Speaker 1: the difficult boss, but now they're working crazy hours. And
- 8:23Speaker 1: so I think we need to stop thinking of change
- 8:26Speaker 1: laterally energetically and start thinking of what is the elevated choice,
- 8:32Speaker 1: what's my next level choice? And that requires time and
- 8:38Speaker 1: it requires a willingness to be in the new and
- 8:42Speaker 1: except that you won't have all the answers. So you're
- 8:45Speaker 1: going to have to be in the unknown, and that
- 8:47Speaker 1: requires trust and that requires faith and the next you
- 8:53Speaker 1: got to stay open to spirit, pray every day for
- 8:57Speaker 1: the next right step. Do not assume you have all
- 9:01Speaker 1: the answers. Do not assume you know how to do
- 9:05Speaker 1: this change. Even if you've made the change before, it's
- 9:10Speaker 1: still not the change you're making right now. You are
- 9:12Speaker 1: different you. So your intellect might say to you, I
- 9:17Speaker 1: know what to do, but I want you to pause
- 9:21Speaker 1: on those practical actions for a moment and allow spirit
- 9:24Speaker 1: to guide you. Let wisdom as to what action to
- 9:29Speaker 1: take be inspired, because it's different than your own way
- 9:34Speaker 1: of thinking. Right, you need that lightness that can only
- 9:39Speaker 1: come from the divine. You need that expansiveness that can
- 9:42Speaker 1: only come from the divine, and that will make any
- 9:45Speaker 1: transition a lot easier. And most importantly, you don't want
- 9:51Speaker 1: to carry the old energy into the new. And the
- 9:55Speaker 1: way you ensure that you do that is you got
- 9:58Speaker 1: to keep your energy clean, so you begin clean and
- 10:03Speaker 1: end clean. And so that comes from really trusting spirit.
- 10:07Speaker 1: So stay in dialogue with spirit, pray, meditate, engage your
- 10:12Speaker 1: spiritual practice not just to soothe your nervous system, but
- 10:17Speaker 1: as a tool in moving yourself forward. It's so your
- 10:22Speaker 1: spiritual practice becomes just as important as your resume if
- 10:28Speaker 1: you're looking for a job. Right, it becomes just as
- 10:32Speaker 1: important as your divorce attorney. If you're going through a divorce,
- 10:36Speaker 1: you need your spiritual practice to guide you and then
- 10:42Speaker 1: care for yourself during this transition. As you move through
- 10:46Speaker 1: any change, you got to take good care of yourself.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Transitions just naturally trigger stress, and some people fight their
- 10:55Speaker 1: way out of a situation. They create conflicts just to
- 10:59Speaker 1: give themselves permission to leave a situation. They create problems
- 11:04Speaker 1: just to give themselves permission. As a lot of this
- 11:07Speaker 1: is subconscious. Psychology calls this a fight or flight response.
- 11:13Speaker 1: It's normal, but you don't have to do it that way.
- 11:16Speaker 1: You can move forward with grace, you can move forward
- 11:18Speaker 1: with calm, you can move forward with groundedness. So keep
- 11:22Speaker 1: your self balanced, rest, meditate, take care of your body, journal,
- 11:27Speaker 1: clear energy from your space. Really do your part to
- 11:33Speaker 1: take good care of yourself as you move through change.
- 11:36Speaker 1: This is why I caution anybody from if you're going
- 11:40Speaker 1: through major life change, probably not at the time it
- 11:43Speaker 1: start romantic relationship. Probably not the time to start to
- 11:50Speaker 1: create roots. And I get why. You know, it's instinctual
- 11:53Speaker 1: for us to be like, wait, I'm leaving something, so
- 11:55Speaker 1: let me go get something else, or let yourself be
- 12:00Speaker 1: in the not knowing, let there be a vacuum in
- 12:04Speaker 1: your life. You know, if you're leaving one relationship, give
- 12:07Speaker 1: yourself a beat before you move into another. As that
- 12:12Speaker 1: makes sense. You know, I do get that some people
- 12:15Speaker 1: leave relationships because they're well passed done and maybe you've
- 12:20Speaker 1: already or in something, but even then, still give yourself
- 12:26Speaker 1: the beat, you know, take good care of yourself, trust,
- 12:32Speaker 1: trust the unknown, make yourself the priority. And now my
- 12:39Speaker 1: strict's just flashed something because I've been hearing it a lot,
- 12:42Speaker 1: and then I saw it in a TV show. Oh man, Okay.
- 12:52Speaker 1: I have heard that there are people that are using
- 12:58Speaker 1: psychedelic therapy as they move through a change, and I
- 13:04Speaker 1: have nothing against psychedelic therapies. I also have nothing against
- 13:11Speaker 1: I don't know if ketamine falls in there, but if
- 13:13Speaker 1: you've been hearing that a lot in session, that people
- 13:16Speaker 1: are moving through transitions and they're doing microdosis of ketymine,
- 13:21Speaker 1: often medically supervised or spiritually supervised, and I don't think
- 13:30Speaker 1: there's anything wrong with those practices. What I have found
- 13:34Speaker 1: is for people going through transition, it's not effective. Just
- 13:41Speaker 1: hear me on this. I know that they'll probably be
- 13:45Speaker 1: someone out there that will argue this, but I think
- 13:49Speaker 1: you have to feel all your feelings as you move
- 13:54Speaker 1: through a major transition, and that can be a major job.
- 14:00Speaker 1: It can be a divorced death of a loved one.
- 14:06Speaker 1: There are lots of therapies out there, but the one
- 14:09Speaker 1: I've consistently found that when people are on the other
- 14:13Speaker 1: side of it and they're talking to me, I'm tuning
- 14:16Speaker 1: into them psychically. That doesn't seem to move the dial
- 14:19Speaker 1: in the way they intended to. Is people going through
- 14:22Speaker 1: some type of transition, and I've heard a lot of
- 14:26Speaker 1: people that are using it as they move through something
- 14:31Speaker 1: like divorce, and it's just, you know, I could be wrong,
- 14:39Speaker 1: but it's consistently the same energy keeps showing up. It's
- 14:45Speaker 1: not working, and what I think, you know, what I'm
- 14:50Speaker 1: sensing is that my circuits are flashing it. So they're
- 14:53Speaker 1: they're showing me a cycle, like a circle, and I
- 14:56Speaker 1: think that's the grief circle. Yeah, they're giving me a
- 14:59Speaker 1: thumbs up grief circle. And it gets broken up with
- 15:03Speaker 1: these drugs, so you can't fully feel those feelings and
- 15:06Speaker 1: move through something in its entirety. Again, I'm just a
- 15:15Speaker 1: psychic and I'm just reading energy, but I've seen this consistently.
- 15:21Speaker 1: People on the other side of that are like, well,
- 15:22Speaker 1: why didn't it work, Amy, I said, I don't know,
- 15:24Speaker 1: I'm not I'm reading your energy, and you're right. Didn't
- 15:27Speaker 1: do what you thought it was doing. That's what it is.
- 15:30Speaker 1: It's not doing what people think it's going to do.
- 15:32Speaker 1: So there's really no shortcut to the grief process around
- 15:37Speaker 1: leaving something, and so just allow yourself to go through it.
- 15:40Speaker 1: It doesn't need to last forever, but give yourself the
- 15:45Speaker 1: space to do it. Do I think that there are
- 15:49Speaker 1: some people now my circus like, no, there's not some
- 15:51Speaker 1: people that can go through that cycle on using a
- 15:54Speaker 1: psychedelic I do think psychedelics are probably really beneficial at
- 15:59Speaker 1: other times psychedelic therapies that I'm not seeing it for
- 16:07Speaker 1: change like change like this. Yeah. I know for me,
- 16:18Speaker 1: there was nothing that could have that I could have
- 16:23Speaker 1: done that shortened that process of transition. Whether I had
- 16:36Speaker 1: to go through it fully. That's how I got to
- 16:38Speaker 1: the other side, was I you know with my divorce, Yeah,
- 16:44Speaker 1: I don't think I was as graceful as I could
- 16:47Speaker 1: have been. I didn't know what I know now other
- 16:50Speaker 1: transitions in my life in between that, I did have
- 16:53Speaker 1: a better understanding of the grace cycle and I did
- 16:56Speaker 1: allow myself to move through it. And then when my
- 16:59Speaker 1: mom pass last year, I was very aware of the
- 17:02Speaker 1: grave cycle and I immediately went into that and I
- 17:06Speaker 1: think that's how how I made it through sanely, was
- 17:13Speaker 1: that I let myself grieve and I got myself the
- 17:19Speaker 1: support I needed at that time what was best for
- 17:23Speaker 1: me to move through that grave cycle. And so do
- 17:27Speaker 1: you give yourself A part of taking care of yourself
- 17:31Speaker 1: is acknowledging that grief is real and you do need
- 17:34Speaker 1: to move through all the stages and they may all
- 17:38Speaker 1: be various links, but let yourself feel, fully feel, and
- 17:47Speaker 1: then you'll know where you're at on the other side
- 17:50Speaker 1: of it. And that is why this is my next point,
- 17:54Speaker 1: is this is why I'm going to keep encouraging you
- 17:56Speaker 1: to go slow. When fear gets going, the fight or
- 18:05Speaker 1: flight gets going, we want to rush through it, you know.
- 18:11Speaker 1: And you've heard people say that I just got to
- 18:13Speaker 1: get through this, I just got to get through this.
- 18:16Speaker 1: And yes, that's just fact. We all moved through things, right,
- 18:20Speaker 1: we all have to move through it. But there's an
- 18:22Speaker 1: energy behind that statement of I just got to get
- 18:25Speaker 1: through this that can actually put unnecessary stress on your being.
- 18:33Speaker 1: As a matter of fact, I read in Louise hay
- 18:38Speaker 1: has a health book that she wrote. I believe with
- 18:41Speaker 1: mona Lisa Schultz. Maybe not that one. She wrote it
- 18:45Speaker 1: with somebody else. But one of the sections it wasn't
- 18:49Speaker 1: Mona Lisa Schultz. That's a different book. Maybe it might
- 18:52Speaker 1: have been I have it. I'll off it up while
- 18:56Speaker 1: I'm saying. But one of the early sections we're talking
- 19:00Speaker 1: about people like I just got to get through this,
- 19:03Speaker 1: and that actually can create ill health, right, and you
- 19:09Speaker 1: can't rush your way through it, and you just got
- 19:14Speaker 1: to be with it. You're moving. It's not like you're stuck,
- 19:19Speaker 1: but you're just going slow because when you move too fast,
- 19:21Speaker 1: you may only focus on one part of your what's
- 19:25Speaker 1: motivating the change. And maybe you want out of a
- 19:29Speaker 1: relationship because you crave freedom, and maybe you want to
- 19:32Speaker 1: date somebody else, But what about your need for companionship
- 19:38Speaker 1: or love or support or putting your life in order,
- 19:43Speaker 1: you know, so that you can date in a really
- 19:45Speaker 1: healthy way. So that's why I say go slow, so
- 19:49Speaker 1: you can see the full picture of your experience, and
- 19:53Speaker 1: it keeps you honest, it keeps you heart centered, and
- 19:58Speaker 1: ensures you are creating a life that meets all your needs,
- 20:01Speaker 1: not just the most obvious ones. I think this is
- 20:04Speaker 1: circling back to as I was putting this show together.
- 20:08Speaker 1: The image that popped was, you know, oftentimes when we're
- 20:11Speaker 1: making change, not fully from the most conscious place, is
- 20:16Speaker 1: we just want to cut out all the bad parts
- 20:18Speaker 1: and take Okay, I just now, this is mynu life.
- 20:21Speaker 1: I'm going to take it all with me, and I'm
- 20:22Speaker 1: just cutting out all the bad parts. But it just
- 20:24Speaker 1: doesn't work that way. It doesn't work that way. So
- 20:29Speaker 1: I pray this has been helpful to help be navigate change.
- 20:35Speaker 1: So even if you're fired up, I still would like
- 20:38Speaker 1: you to consider this approach, this going slow, taking good
- 20:43Speaker 1: care of yourself, putting practice practices in place to take
- 20:48Speaker 1: good care of yourself holistically. Again, I don't think one
- 20:53Speaker 1: therapy can do it for you. I don't think. I
- 20:58Speaker 1: think you got to use You get to use as
- 21:01Speaker 1: many strategies as possible, especially if you haven't really developed
- 21:07Speaker 1: the muscle for grief or moving through grief, and most
- 21:13Speaker 1: of us haven't. So be willing to stay open to
- 21:17Speaker 1: all sources, all types of support, and then this is
- 21:24Speaker 1: just flashed. I've seen this a lot coming out of
- 21:30Speaker 1: a codependent situation. You're going to need to treat that
- 21:33Speaker 1: codependency because it's not just you get rid of the source,
- 21:39Speaker 1: there's still a you know, there's still a hole in
- 21:43Speaker 1: you that attracted it in the first place. So I
- 21:45Speaker 1: will say that is, if you're coming out of a
- 21:48Speaker 1: codependent situation, make sure you're treating the codependency, because you'll
- 21:54Speaker 1: just move into other codependent dynamics. So maybe you're in
- 21:59Speaker 1: a codependent marriage. You might not move into another relationship
- 22:04Speaker 1: right away, but you might create a codependency with your
- 22:08Speaker 1: family right and so you've got to figure out how
- 22:13Speaker 1: to to heal that. And there are tons of resources
- 22:17Speaker 1: out there to help heal codependency. Codependency Anonymous is great.
- 22:24Speaker 1: Codependent resources can be found on Terry Cole's page. I
- 22:30Speaker 1: think she talks, she's she's going on talking about codependency
- 22:34Speaker 1: not necessarily associated with an addict, high functioning codependency, but
- 22:43Speaker 1: I definitely think you need to take the time to
- 22:45Speaker 1: treat that and let's talk about Yeah. Yeah, I went
- 22:56Speaker 1: through it too, I did. I didn't. I started treating
- 23:03Speaker 1: the codependency. That's what led me to where we moved
- 23:08Speaker 1: down the path of exploring divorcing. But I definitely didn't
- 23:13Speaker 1: treat it, you know, I didn't deal with it. I
- 23:18Speaker 1: didn't really deal with it for probably another four years really,
- 23:22Speaker 1: and so what I found was I just kept moving
- 23:24Speaker 1: from codependent situation a codependent situation, and now on the
- 23:32Speaker 1: other side of it. Huh, it's so worth it, so
- 23:37Speaker 1: worth it to go ahead and just deal with it,
- 23:40Speaker 1: and deal with it in the sense of setting the
- 23:43Speaker 1: intention to heal it, setting the intention to really get
- 23:47Speaker 1: clear about what created the codependent dynamic and who were
- 23:54Speaker 1: you If you're not engaging the energy of codependency, I'm
- 23:58Speaker 1: really doing the work around that. So if you are
- 24:01Speaker 1: sensing you've been a codependent dynamic, whether it's been at
- 24:03Speaker 1: work in a relationship, even with your friend groups, I
- 24:08Speaker 1: would encourage you to explore healing it. There's a lot
- 24:13Speaker 1: of path to healing it, and it may not be therapy.
- 24:17Speaker 1: There are lie great books out there on codependency and
- 24:20Speaker 1: really just commit to learning a new way of being. Okay,
- 24:27Speaker 1: So I wanted to share with you what that Louise
- 24:30Speaker 1: Hay book is for healing. I'm in my kindle right now,
- 24:38Speaker 1: So I hope, I hope this can set you on
- 24:42Speaker 1: a path where where all of this makes more sense.
- 24:50Speaker 1: Great health. Who who's the who? She write it with yeah,
- 24:53Speaker 1: she did not write with Mona Lisa Schultz. It was
- 24:56Speaker 1: it's as soon the title pages so loving Yourself to
- 25:03Speaker 1: great health thoughts and food the Ultimate Diet, but really,
- 25:10Speaker 1: you know, yeah, it talks a lot about food, but
- 25:12Speaker 1: talks about healing as well and the process of healing,
- 25:15Speaker 1: and she does. It's two different practitioners that she wrote
- 25:18Speaker 1: the book with, and I thought it was a nice contrast.
- 25:22Speaker 1: I actually have really enjoyed Louise Hayes books that she
- 25:26Speaker 1: wrote with other people. I love her work, but I
- 25:28Speaker 1: love the contrast between the two because she has a
- 25:30Speaker 1: very simplistic, straightforward accessible to me. I think it's very
- 25:37Speaker 1: energetically accessible her perspective and the way she helps people heal,
- 25:41Speaker 1: and then you get this other piece of wisdom that
- 25:44Speaker 1: rounds it out. And so I will also recommend Louise
- 25:48Speaker 1: Hayes's book on Grief and on it. I checked it
- 25:53Speaker 1: out from the library, did the audio book on my
- 25:56Speaker 1: mom pass and during that time I said this before
- 26:00Speaker 1: I read, you know, probably ten different books on grief
- 26:04Speaker 1: because that's what made sense to me intuitively, and I
- 26:09Speaker 1: read all different spiritual, psychological, all levels of grief or
- 26:15Speaker 1: all perspectives on grief or healing modalities on grief and
- 26:20Speaker 1: you know, A you know, obviously if you've been listening
- 26:23Speaker 1: to this program, you know I love Louise Hay like truly,
- 26:29Speaker 1: like a leader in my world. But I loved I
- 26:37Speaker 1: loved her book on grief that with David Kessler. I
- 26:42Speaker 1: think she wrote that one with David Kessler, and it
- 26:46Speaker 1: was perfect. The audiobook's great. I think he narrates most
- 26:51Speaker 1: of it and then she pops in and I'm pretty
- 26:55Speaker 1: sure it was done. The audiobook was done after she passed.
- 26:58Speaker 1: So the passage, which is the audio passages are really
- 27:05Speaker 1: they have a mystical tone to them, even though they're
- 27:07Speaker 1: pretty straightforward. And what I love the most about that
- 27:09Speaker 1: book on grave is that applies to any situation from
- 27:13Speaker 1: job loss to I mean they even have a chapter
- 27:16Speaker 1: on pets and losing a pet, which I think is significant.
- 27:20Speaker 1: You know. Yeah, so there are a lot of resources
- 27:27Speaker 1: for you out there. I'll tell you one of the
- 27:32Speaker 1: things I said to myself as I was going through
- 27:35Speaker 1: my divorce, I felt like I did a lot of
- 27:40Speaker 1: work to get myself strong enough to even like go
- 27:45Speaker 1: through the divorce process, to be like, hey, I think
- 27:47Speaker 1: we doo you know, and you know, like I said,
- 27:50Speaker 1: we both agreed on that. But one of the things
- 27:53Speaker 1: I found was when I got to divorce, right and
- 28:00Speaker 1: I was living in my apartment and I was I
- 28:05Speaker 1: said to a friend of mine, and I'm like, I'm
- 28:07Speaker 1: done with healin for a while. I've done so much,
- 28:11Speaker 1: and that I've said it to you probably here on
- 28:14Speaker 1: this program because it was so significant. I remember my
- 28:17Speaker 1: tone at that time, and it was just like wam.
- 28:22Speaker 1: Spirit was like, no, you're not. You ain't even got started, girl.
- 28:26Speaker 1: And it was literally five more years of like really deep,
- 28:33Speaker 1: often hard lessons and lessons in real time. You know. Yeah,
- 28:44Speaker 1: if I chose this lifetime for myself, I know, my
- 28:50Speaker 1: spiritual self that decided to incarnate was like, yeah, let's
- 28:55Speaker 1: do that, because that's going to be real hard. You'll
- 28:57Speaker 1: have no choice but to learn it. I wish it
- 29:01Speaker 1: may be remembered what it's like to be an inhuman body.
- 29:06Speaker 1: And so it was like real time, you know, and
- 29:13Speaker 1: interconnected with my survival. So I had no choice but
- 29:18Speaker 1: the heal, you know, I had no choice but to
- 29:21Speaker 1: leave behind behaviors that didn't serve me well. And I
- 29:27Speaker 1: can honestly say every bit if it's worth it, every
- 29:31Speaker 1: bit of it's worth it. So so stay on the path,
- 29:36Speaker 1: heal all parts of yourself to the best of ability
- 29:39Speaker 1: if that's required. As you move through a change, and
- 29:42Speaker 1: I do think you know again, GRAF is going to
- 29:44Speaker 1: be a part. Even if you're so excited to leave
- 29:46Speaker 1: your job and go to the next one, there's still
- 29:49Speaker 1: a grieving process that I think you have to allow
- 29:52Speaker 1: yourself to feel and oftentimes a healing process depending on
- 29:59Speaker 1: what you're leaving. There might that situation might have been
- 30:03Speaker 1: a micro trauma for you, and so give yourself time,
- 30:07Speaker 1: give yourself time to really move through it. Sanely okay,
- 30:22Speaker 1: So change awesome. It doesn't always feel that way. And
- 30:31Speaker 1: so one of the ways in which again you can
- 30:35Speaker 1: move through change is to own your change. Stay committed
- 30:41Speaker 1: to your excitement even as you are doing the work
- 30:46Speaker 1: leaving behind the past. So we're not trying to cut
- 30:49Speaker 1: out all the problems and just take the past with us.
- 30:53Speaker 1: You're probably going to have to reinvent and that's okay.
- 30:58Speaker 1: Stay open to spirit, Stay in your spiritual practice, not
- 31:03Speaker 1: just as a it's something to do, but actually use
- 31:09Speaker 1: your spiritual practice to help you make really good decisions
- 31:14Speaker 1: during that time. Take care of yourself physically, mentally, emotionally,
- 31:21Speaker 1: go slow, Go slow, and then honor your grief. There
- 31:27Speaker 1: are a lot of resources out there to help you
- 31:29Speaker 1: navigate grief. But and you know, I'd say to anyone
- 31:35Speaker 1: you know, you can always just commit to going to
- 31:37Speaker 1: five grief meetings, you know, and see how you feel
- 31:42Speaker 1: after that. But respect the fact and honor that there
- 31:47Speaker 1: is a grief cycle and there's no skipping it, all right,
- 31:52Speaker 1: So this is how you can create spiritually powerful change.
- 31:56Speaker 1: And if you are ready to change with guidance, I
