Jamarion Matthews, now a Crimson Tide defensive lineman, emerged as the consensus toughest high school opponent in the Huntsville area, praised by peers for his physicality and quickness. Before heading to Gainesville, Georgia for his senior year, he dominated at Sparkman High with 118 tackles, 48 tackles for loss, and 33.5 sacks as a sophomore and junior.
