- 0:24Speaker 1: It is time to leave your worries outside and laugh
- 0:29Speaker 1: with us inside the treehouse. I'm Daniel Mallley, along with
- 0:33Speaker 1: Trey Trenholm, Rod Sharma and Jerry Caldwell on a fribday,
- 0:42Speaker 1: October fourth, twenty twenty four. Happy Friday to all. I'm
- 0:49Speaker 1: going to ask each of you a very brief question.
- 0:53Speaker 1: Are you having a good Friday so far? Trey?
- 1:00Speaker 2: Yeah, so far? Okay?
- 1:01Speaker 1: Good raj Are you having a good Friday so far?
- 1:05Speaker 3: I have a good Friday every Friday?
- 1:08Speaker 2: Good?
- 1:08Speaker 3: Is a good Friday? Isn't that a Christian holiday?
- 1:11Speaker 1: Yeah? That's not this Friday? That's okay?
- 1:14Speaker 4: Before Easter.
- 1:15Speaker 3: No, I have a solid Fridays pretty often.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Glad to hear it. And Jerry, what about you? How
- 1:21Speaker 1: is your Friday so far? Is it good or bad?
- 1:24Speaker 4: It has been relatively non threatening so far?
- 1:27Speaker 1: All right, so we'll go good. Okay, mine's been bad.
- 1:31Speaker 1: And as per usual, most things that are bad in
- 1:36Speaker 1: my life are at my own hands. I do these
- 1:39Speaker 1: things to myself, and I have done it yet again. Trey,
- 1:45Speaker 1: we missed you yesterday, and I like to think had
- 1:49Speaker 1: you been here yesterday, I might not have screwed up.
- 1:55Speaker 3: So Trey, is responsible for your Friday being bad.
- 2:00Speaker 1: No, I just wish he was. So I can't remember
- 2:05Speaker 1: the context exactly in the show. And I started to
- 2:10Speaker 1: go back to listen to it yesterday, and I was like,
- 2:13Speaker 1: you know what, maybe it's best I don't dig it
- 2:17Speaker 1: up too much, but I'm going to give you a
- 2:21Speaker 1: quick rundown of of my day so far. So I
- 2:29Speaker 1: got a text from my wife earlier which said, Wow,
- 2:35Speaker 1: I decided to take this driving time today to listen
- 2:39Speaker 1: to the new episode of the tree House.
- 2:41Speaker 5: Oh no, no, no, yeah, I decided to take this
- 2:55Speaker 5: driving time today to listen to the new episode of
- 2:57Speaker 5: the tree House.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Only the learned something new and very important ellipses. Mmmm,
- 3:06Speaker 1: that's the three periods. Yes important.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:12Speaker 1: I want you to put yourself in my shoes for
- 3:15Speaker 1: just a brief moment and think about all the horrific
- 3:19Speaker 1: thoughts that ran through my mind when she said we
- 3:24Speaker 1: need to learn something new and very important. Dot dot
- 3:27Speaker 1: oh her, and I just sent back two question marks
- 3:33Speaker 1: because I was I couldn't send it a I couldn't
- 3:36Speaker 1: send an emoji because I didn't know how, Like, okay,
- 3:39Speaker 1: I really don't know if she's if she's being playful
- 3:41Speaker 1: or if she's really pissed and and I'm gonna find out.
- 3:44Speaker 1: I just I don't want to try to lean one
- 3:46Speaker 1: way or the other and then look really stupid, right
- 3:48Speaker 1: because if I send an emoji like with the big
- 3:51Speaker 1: eyes going, that might be too silly. Maybe I've I've
- 3:54Speaker 1: done something that's really bad and that's gonna look bad.
- 3:58Speaker 2: So I were you asking yourself if you were at
- 4:01Speaker 2: a Didty party?
- 4:07Speaker 1: Lucky for me, I'm moveing answer to that already, and
- 4:10Speaker 1: that that was a resounding no. I've never been to
- 4:12Speaker 1: a Diddy party because a Didty party just won't stop.
- 4:18Speaker 3: Because it can't stop if there's enough oil, it'll just
- 4:25Speaker 3: keep going.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Based on the story I saw out a Houston a
- 4:29Speaker 1: couple of days ago. Yeah, over two million dollars worth
- 4:33Speaker 1: in miss in missing olive oil. Anyway, my wife says
- 4:39Speaker 1: to my two question marks, my husband doesn't know my birthday,
- 4:44Speaker 1: oh oh, which I felt slightly okay with because I
- 4:49Speaker 1: do know her birthday.
- 4:51Speaker 3: I do.
- 4:51Speaker 1: It's six eight eighty one, June eighth, nineteen eighty one.
- 4:56Speaker 1: But on the show, I said, I said June sixth,
- 5:06Speaker 1: which ironically is D day.
- 5:10Speaker 3: You're gonna have to buy two gifts now, once on
- 5:12Speaker 3: that date and once on the real date.
- 5:16Speaker 1: So I know her birthday. And so I sent back
- 5:19Speaker 1: six eight eighty one. And then she said, you said
- 5:21Speaker 1: June sixth. And right as she is sending that where
- 5:24Speaker 1: she says you said June sixth, it hits me. It
- 5:27Speaker 1: hits me like a ton of bricks. I respond back
- 5:30Speaker 1: to her, saying, oh, did I say June six because
- 5:32Speaker 1: I can kind of remember myself saying it, and I've
- 5:35Speaker 1: done this before. I know my wife's birthday. I know
- 5:37Speaker 1: it is June eight, nineteen eighty one, but when I
- 5:40Speaker 1: use the numbers, I'm better at knowing it off the
- 5:44Speaker 1: tip of my tongue. When I say six eight eighty one,
- 5:47Speaker 1: I got it. But for some reason, when I use
- 5:49Speaker 1: the word June in front of the number, I think
- 5:52Speaker 1: six because June is the sixth month of the year.
- 5:56Speaker 1: And Raj, I can see the look on your face
- 5:58Speaker 1: and you're not buying this. But my wife is now
- 6:01Speaker 1: next to me in the room. I need you to
- 6:03Speaker 1: be on my side. So when I say June, for
- 6:09Speaker 1: some reason, my brain shifts to six instead of eight.
- 6:13Speaker 2: This is where I think you lean into your memory problems.
- 6:19Speaker 2: This is when you hit the woodshed thing, it's it's right,
- 6:24Speaker 2: or you meet the big board again.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Wait wait, wait, wait, try let me make sure I understands.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Are you saying that if I don't do something, she's
- 6:36Speaker 1: going to hit me in the head with another big
- 6:38Speaker 1: board or I need to run outside and find a
- 6:40Speaker 1: big board to run my head into.
- 6:42Speaker 2: It depends how mad she is.
- 6:46Speaker 6: Or how determined you are.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Because I think you made me onto something. Because look,
- 6:54Speaker 1: we've been married, we're married now a long time. I
- 6:58Speaker 1: could feel her looking at me.
- 6:59Speaker 6: Because.
- 7:01Speaker 4: We can feel her looking at you.
- 7:02Speaker 1: Yeah, she just slowly did like the little shit. Do
- 7:07Speaker 1: you know that she's still looking?
- 7:19Speaker 3: I think so, I'm scared. I don't know how you feel.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Terrified.
- 7:27Speaker 1: My wife's birthday is June. See I almost said six again.
- 7:31Speaker 1: That's what happens when I do the numbers. It is
- 7:33Speaker 1: June eighth, nineteen eighty one.
- 7:36Speaker 3: So if you if you do the numbers, you're okay.
- 7:39Speaker 3: If you do the words, you mess up, right, right, gotcha?
- 7:43Speaker 2: Oh?
- 7:43Speaker 3: You you would never you would never make it as
- 7:46Speaker 3: an Indian.
- 7:47Speaker 1: No. But here's the thing. I'm normally good. I'm normally
- 7:50Speaker 1: good with the speaking stuff. But for whatever reason, but
- 7:52Speaker 1: my brain has that little crutch. But now I'm questioning everything,
- 7:56Speaker 1: like I know her birthday six eight eighty one, and
- 7:58Speaker 1: it's June eighth, so you got at that time nineteen
- 8:01Speaker 1: eighty one. But now I'm questioning other things, like is
- 8:05Speaker 1: our anniversary May twenty six?
- 8:07Speaker 4: Oh you said that?
- 8:09Speaker 3: Oh you said?
- 8:10Speaker 6: Oh?
- 8:10Speaker 1: Why are inner dialogue twenty twelve?
- 8:19Speaker 6: Say it up here?
- 8:23Speaker 3: Don't say it out here?
- 8:24Speaker 4: Right, some things should not come out.
- 8:28Speaker 3: Or just text us. When were we at your wedding twelve?
- 8:34Speaker 1: We's see here, here's the thing. Oh, hang on, hang on.
- 8:38Speaker 1: I know we're running along, but this is gonna be
- 8:40Speaker 1: worth it. Give me a second.
- 8:45Speaker 4: He wants to take a bet on when the service
- 8:47Speaker 4: is going to be.
- 8:49Speaker 2: And if you had to dig his own grave.
- 8:53Speaker 3: Yeah, she's just going to burn him. He's just going
- 8:57Speaker 3: to be an urn. What are you doing?
- 9:03Speaker 1: Do you guys remember this from our wedding? Yes, it's
- 9:09Speaker 1: our it's our wedding favorite coozy.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Uh yeah.
- 9:11Speaker 1: Also serves as a reminder to me of what our
- 9:13Speaker 1: wedding date is.
- 9:15Speaker 3: You got it right, excellent, You got the date right,
- 9:21Speaker 3: and you can keep a beer cold.
- 9:23Speaker 6: That's good.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Okay, Now, I got a second problem. She didn't think
- 9:31Speaker 1: that's as funny as I do. That That's how I remember.
- 9:38Speaker 7: You're in the visit us online at treehouseonair dot com.
- 9:50Speaker 1: All right, let's get you into a new car. If
- 9:53Speaker 1: you are thinking, yeah, I think i'd like a new car,
- 9:55Speaker 1: I want one, or I need one, the people to
- 9:58Speaker 1: call fair leaves. You can go to fair LEAs dot org,
- 10:01Speaker 1: that fair lease dot org and you can give them
- 10:04Speaker 1: a call and say, hey, you know what, I'm in
- 10:06Speaker 1: the market for a new vehicle. I'd really like that.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Can you help me? And they're gonna say yes. And
- 10:10Speaker 1: when they do that and you all agree, yeah, let's
- 10:12Speaker 1: work together, they're going to help you save a bunch
- 10:14Speaker 1: of time and a bunch of money on that new vehicle.
- 10:16Speaker 1: One you're gonna save a bunch of money because leasing
- 10:20Speaker 1: is more cost effective than buying. And what I mean
- 10:24Speaker 1: but that is when you lease, you only lease a
- 10:25Speaker 1: portion of the vehicle that you use for when you
- 10:27Speaker 1: have it, Whereas when you buy the vehicle, you're buying
- 10:29Speaker 1: the whole vehicle and forever and all that kind of stuff.
- 10:32Speaker 1: And look, the majority of people these days don't ever
- 10:35Speaker 1: make it to the end of paying off their vehicle,
- 10:37Speaker 1: they usually trade it in and have negative equity. That's bad.
- 10:40Speaker 1: The good news is with the saving money aspect from
- 10:43Speaker 1: fair lease, they can help you with the negative equity,
- 10:45Speaker 1: help you with a better car payment that's more affordable,
- 10:47Speaker 1: and you're gonna pay less. Give them a call or
- 10:50Speaker 1: an email that works as well and let them show
- 10:52Speaker 1: you exactly how. Go to fairlease dot org. Also saving
- 10:55Speaker 1: time because instead of wasting time and a dealership, they're
- 10:57Speaker 1: gonna bring everything to you, including their paperwork, to send
- 11:01Speaker 1: that to you to sign it all remotely. Save time,
- 11:03Speaker 1: save money. It's no hassle leasing with fairlease inside the treehouse,
- 11:08Speaker 1: So go to fairlease dot org. Once again, that is
- 11:11Speaker 1: fairlease dot org.

- 11:32Speaker 1: I mean just go to the website fairlease dot org.
- 11:35Speaker 1: Shoot him an email, give him a call, say hey,
- 11:37Speaker 1: heard about you in the treehouse. I want to get
- 11:39Speaker 1: a new vehicle. I want to lease instead of by

- 11:44Speaker 1: leasing with our friends at Fairlease. Just go to the
- 11:46Speaker 1: website fairlease dot org. Once again, that is fairlease dot Org.
- 11:54Speaker 1: I have exciting news for you guys.
- 11:56Speaker 2: Okay.
- 11:58Speaker 1: I know we're in the midst of all sorts of
- 12:00Speaker 1: things happening in the world. We've got, you know, a
- 12:02Speaker 1: presidential election, We've got the aftermath of Hurricane Helen. And
- 12:05Speaker 1: we're gonna do what we can to try to make
- 12:08Speaker 1: you feel better about all the plight in the world
- 12:09Speaker 1: and all the all the bad stuff here in the treehouse,
- 12:12Speaker 1: because I'm going to share with you a brand new
- 12:15Speaker 1: way to look at things that will absolutely change your life. Okay,
- 12:21Speaker 1: a new way to look at things that will absolutely
- 12:23Speaker 1: change your life. But first birthday, because today is October fourth,
- 12:33Speaker 1: twenty twenty four, which is also known as Fred Day.
- 12:37Speaker 1: Birthdays today, Dakota Johnson is thirty five. She is now
- 12:42Speaker 1: best known as I think best known as Anastasia Steel
- 12:47Speaker 1: in the Fifty Shades of Gray movies. Before that, she
- 12:50Speaker 1: was best known as the daughter of Melanie Griffith and
- 12:55Speaker 1: Don Johnson, but she was also in that tragedy of
- 13:00Speaker 1: a film, Madam Webb that I've not seen, even though,
- 13:05Speaker 1: as Raj will point out, I'll watch him or.
- 13:07Speaker 6: Anything that's done trick.
- 13:12Speaker 1: But here's the thing with a movie like that, because
- 13:15Speaker 1: it's supposedly so bad, I wondered, is it just that
- 13:18Speaker 1: bad because it got downvoted across the web? As things
- 13:22Speaker 1: have happened to, people have a tendency the comment section
- 13:25Speaker 1: comes alive and they'll just smear films on rotten tomatoes
- 13:29Speaker 1: and things. It happened. It happens when like because there
- 13:33Speaker 1: was a black guy in Star Wars, I thought they
- 13:35Speaker 1: got to ruin that somehow. And same thing with this
- 13:38Speaker 1: Madam Web. I didn't know if it was basically online
- 13:41Speaker 1: vitriol related or if it really was a bad movie.
- 13:44Speaker 2: And that's usually the ones you watch.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Yes, it is because I want to watch them out
- 13:49Speaker 1: of curiosity. I love a good train wreck because I
- 13:53Speaker 1: know that in things that are absolutely terrible there's something
- 13:58Speaker 1: good you can pull out of it. Not always, but usually, And.
- 14:02Speaker 2: This too many.
- 14:09Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I think I just described Day's trade, Trey's
- 14:13Speaker 1: dating life. Sorry if that hit too close to home
- 14:18Speaker 1: for you.
- 14:18Speaker 3: To I just saw again I can see.
- 14:25Speaker 1: But no, so so then I I happened upon someone's
- 14:28Speaker 1: thread online. I don't know if it was on threads
- 14:31Speaker 1: or if it was on x Twitter, whatever it is.
- 14:34Speaker 1: Someone did a review just sort of line by line,
- 14:39Speaker 1: sort of like a just they're gonna live tweet as
- 14:42Speaker 1: they watched Madam Webb because they too had heard bad
- 14:45Speaker 1: things about and they just wanted to see if it
- 14:46Speaker 1: was accurate. Right, So they they do that and based
- 14:50Speaker 1: on the thread that I read, this movie is ridiculous, okay,
- 14:57Speaker 1: And and and because I read that, it makes do
- 15:00Speaker 1: you want to watch it?
- 15:00Speaker 2: More?
- 15:02Speaker 4: Right with me? I'm curious everybody loves a train wreck.
- 15:08Speaker 1: Look, you know, some people are naughty by nature. I'm
- 15:11Speaker 1: curious by nature. That is, that is my burden to bear.
- 15:15Speaker 3: You will also spend money to watch these things. So
- 15:19Speaker 3: so if you were in the theater, would you get
- 15:21Speaker 3: like popcorn and a hot dog and all that? So
- 15:24Speaker 3: you would spend money to get?
- 15:26Speaker 2: No?
- 15:27Speaker 1: No, no, no, I'm only going to see a good
- 15:29Speaker 1: what I think to be a good movie in the theater.
- 15:32Speaker 1: Bad stuff. I saved that for home, Okay, gotcha?
- 15:36Speaker 3: Okay? Or not?
- 15:39Speaker 2: Always?
- 15:40Speaker 1: It depends sometimes because sometimes I can't help it. Sometimes
- 15:42Speaker 1: they skip the movie theater and go straight to streaming.
- 15:45Speaker 1: I can't help that. But like I pointed out, the
- 15:47Speaker 1: other day, it's sort of like Marvel versus d C.
- 15:50Speaker 1: I'll go to the theater to see Marvel d C.
- 15:53Speaker 1: It's kind of iffy, but I will watch it on
- 15:55Speaker 1: a plane.
- 15:57Speaker 3: Oh gotcha? Okay, that makes sense.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Yeah, a plane or at home is the best place
- 16:01Speaker 1: to watch a questionable movie, and that's typically what I do.
- 16:04Speaker 1: So I'm eventually going to watch Madam Webb because I
- 16:06Speaker 1: need to know if it's as bad as everyone says
- 16:09Speaker 1: it is. So Happy birthday to Cota Johnson. She's thirty five.
- 16:13Speaker 1: Speaking of superhero stuff, she plays super Girl. Melissa Binoit
- 16:18Speaker 1: or ben oyst I'm sorry, Melissa beIN Oist. She is
- 16:20Speaker 1: thirty six today. Rachel Lee Cook from She's All That
- 16:24Speaker 1: Fame is forty five, one of the last great movies
- 16:29Speaker 1: to take someone who's clearly hot and make them ugly
- 16:34Speaker 1: by making him wear chunky eyeglasses. When everyone knows, okay,
- 16:40Speaker 1: she's pretty. I could tell it comes through the glasses,
- 16:44Speaker 1: and she's all that. We're not stupid, but Hollywood treated
- 16:46Speaker 1: us as such. Also, Live Schreiber turns fifty seven. He's
- 16:53Speaker 1: probably best known as Ray Donovan or for those of
- 16:55Speaker 1: us that love the Hard Knocks documentary, he's the voiceover
- 16:59Speaker 1: guy for that does a phenomenal job. Also, NBA superstar
- 17:04Speaker 1: former A. C. Green is sixty one. I hope he's
- 17:07Speaker 1: lost his virginity by now.
- 17:09Speaker 3: I don't think he has. We have to have a check.
- 17:14Speaker 3: I think he said a couple of years ago. I
- 17:16Speaker 3: think he said he still was a virgin.
- 17:19Speaker 1: If he's sixty one years old and still a virgin,
- 17:22Speaker 1: first of all, I doubt it. Second of all, I
- 17:29Speaker 1: don't think that's gonna be by choice. And if you're
- 17:31Speaker 1: an NBA star and you're a virgin, there's something else
- 17:35Speaker 1: going on that we don't know.
- 17:37Speaker 3: Correct, That's all I wanted to say. Because if you're
- 17:40Speaker 3: in the NBA and you make that much money and
- 17:42Speaker 3: you travel and you're still a virgin, that's you. That's
- 17:47Speaker 3: your fault.
- 17:48Speaker 4: Yeah, at this point, just carry it all the way through. Man,
- 17:51Speaker 4: you've run that far and just hit the end zone.
- 17:54Speaker 1: Oh like, just never have sex and just yeah, so
- 17:58Speaker 1: when you're dead you'll have be double stiffy. I'm not
- 18:05Speaker 1: sure how that works. And like he's turned blue, well,
- 18:10Speaker 1: of course he has. Was was that a. Was that
- 18:23Speaker 1: a sound of disgust their tray?
- 18:25Speaker 6: No?
- 18:25Speaker 2: No, uhuh, well, I believe.
- 18:33Speaker 3: I'm just saying, like, if you make it that far,
- 18:35Speaker 3: I mean, Jerry's got a point. If you make it
- 18:37Speaker 3: to sixty two and you haven't had sex, what's another
- 18:40Speaker 3: eighteen years?
- 18:43Speaker 1: Well here's the problem. Yeah, thank you. Here's the other thing.
- 18:49Speaker 1: At a certain point, what if that's what keeps him alive?
- 18:53Speaker 1: Maybe having sex is what kills all of us? Right,
- 18:57Speaker 1: So what if what if his bird is to remain
- 19:02Speaker 1: a virgin for his entire life, but but without having
- 19:06Speaker 1: sex to kill him, that means he may live forever.
- 19:10Speaker 3: If having sex kills you, then India would be empty.
- 19:16Speaker 3: There's one point, China would be empty as well.
- 19:21Speaker 1: There's it doesn't really I immediately. I'm just saying that, like,
- 19:25Speaker 1: eventually it kills you.
- 19:27Speaker 4: It's like smoking your cigarette takes so many minutes off
- 19:30Speaker 4: your life.
- 19:30Speaker 3: M hm. So does every Yeah?
- 19:36Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 19:37Speaker 4: Bad, yep?
- 19:37Speaker 3: Okay said, I don't know if we can say orgasm? Yeah,
- 19:42Speaker 3: so every orgasm takes minutes off your life?
- 19:46Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 19:46Speaker 3: Oh no, I've.
- 19:49Speaker 1: Trade right.
- 19:50Speaker 3: I've killed nine minutes today.
- 19:57Speaker 1: And you're never gonna get those bat you're in the
- 20:06Speaker 1: tree House.
- 20:07Speaker 7: Visit us online at Treehouseonair dot com.
- 20:18Speaker 8: If you thought twenty twenty four couldn't get any scarier,
- 20:22Speaker 8: you were long back for its thirty six year Hangman's

- 21:27Speaker 1: Also follow us on social media at Treehouse on Air,
- 21:30Speaker 1: which includes the YouTube channel YouTube dot com, slash at
- 21:33Speaker 1: Treehouse on Air once again, the website Treehouse on Air
- 21:38Speaker 1: dot com. Okay, are you guys ready to have a
- 21:43Speaker 1: brand new way to look at things and it's going
- 21:45Speaker 1: to change your life?
- 21:47Speaker 2: Yes?
- 21:47Speaker 1: Sure, technically that is the right answer. But we'll see.
- 21:59Speaker 1: Are any of you you and uh are any of
- 22:01Speaker 1: you needing to declutter and get rid of some things
- 22:04Speaker 1: around the house?
- 22:05Speaker 4: Yes?
- 22:06Speaker 1: Yes, No, okay, well two out of three of you
- 22:10Speaker 1: need to apply the poop rule. Okay, say again, if
- 22:19Speaker 1: if you need to declit, Jesus, well declutter.
- 22:25Speaker 6: I've been de dooing that for a long time.
- 22:30Speaker 1: You know, if you need to declutter and thrown in
- 22:32Speaker 1: the poop rule, then you're just having all sorts of
- 22:34Speaker 1: wild times, and that's that's a completely different house than
- 22:37Speaker 1: this one. Uh No, what I mean to say is, uh,
- 22:42Speaker 1: if you need to declutter and get rid of some crap,
- 22:45Speaker 1: what you need to do is apply the poop rule.
- 22:48Speaker 1: Like most things these days, the poop rule gained popularity
- 22:53Speaker 1: or popularity on TikTok. Okay, so I'm actually surprised if
- 22:59Speaker 1: Trey has not heard of this already because he is
- 23:01Speaker 1: our TikTok sar. The poop rule. This is what you do.
- 23:06Speaker 1: If you're trying to declutter and get rid of stuff,
- 23:08Speaker 1: you need to apply the poop rule. You pick up
- 23:11Speaker 1: something in your hands and you pretend there's poop on it.
- 23:14Speaker 1: I mean, really try to visualize the feces on that item,
- 23:19Speaker 1: and then you need to ask yourself, if there was
- 23:21Speaker 1: poop on this, would I wash it or throw it away.
- 23:26Speaker 1: If it's something you'd wash, then you keep it. If
- 23:29Speaker 1: it's something you would not keep, then you need to
- 23:32Speaker 1: throw it out or donate it to somebody who wouldn't
- 23:36Speaker 1: mind it being covered in. So there you have. If
- 23:39Speaker 1: you need to declutter, you need to apply the poop rule.
- 23:44Speaker 4: This is a much better thing for ADHD folks than
- 23:47Speaker 4: the whole Does it bring you joy?
- 23:49Speaker 3: That's what I do.
- 23:50Speaker 1: Yeah, I did the Marie condo thing during covid Uh
- 23:53Speaker 1: and truth be told. Before we moved, that's sort of
- 23:56Speaker 1: the methodology we used. We said, Okay, first of all,
- 24:00Speaker 1: do we need this? Is this something that when we
- 24:02Speaker 1: move to our new place we're going to need? If
- 24:05Speaker 1: it's not then you put it in probably to get
- 24:06Speaker 1: rid of pile. After then we would have the second phase,
- 24:09Speaker 1: which is does this item bring me joy? Do I
- 24:13Speaker 1: want this in my life or need this in my
- 24:16Speaker 1: life to make me happy? And if not, then then
- 24:18Speaker 1: it goes bye bye. This really cuts through all of that,
- 24:21Speaker 1: just thinking, look if if if this, I love this pin,
- 24:24Speaker 1: but if it I mean, if we're being honest, if
- 24:26Speaker 1: it were covered and I've thrown it away, I'm not
- 24:29Speaker 1: touching it.
- 24:31Speaker 3: So you you would put your belongings in a pile
- 24:35Speaker 3: and in your head you would poop on it.
- 24:38Speaker 1: No, just individually. Oh, because if you put it in
- 24:42Speaker 1: a pile, then it's going to look like the scene
- 24:44Speaker 1: out of Jurassic Park and Jeff Goldblum walks up and
- 24:47Speaker 1: just says, that's a big pile. And then that's going
- 24:49Speaker 1: to be too overwhelming and that's going to be too
- 24:52Speaker 1: much to go through. So you probably can get rid
- 24:54Speaker 1: of the whole pile. I like the idea of doing
- 24:56Speaker 1: it on a case by case.
- 24:57Speaker 3: It's going to look like the bathroom's tall from Desperado.
- 25:07Speaker 3: No I do the joy thing. I'm like, does this
- 25:09Speaker 3: bring me joy? And every time I hug anything Carl
- 25:15Speaker 3: Lagerfeld or like Gucci, it brings me joy and Haines
- 25:20Speaker 3: does not. I don't know why makes sense?
- 25:23Speaker 1: What if there's another way to go about it, Like,
- 25:26Speaker 1: for example, if there's something that you hate mm hmm
- 25:32Speaker 1: and you know you want to get rid of it,
- 25:35Speaker 1: would it make Would it bring you joy to poop
- 25:37Speaker 1: on it?
- 25:39Speaker 6: Oh?
- 25:39Speaker 3: That's good? Yeah, I don't. I don't know how you
- 25:44Speaker 3: would do that in a house full of other people.
- 25:47Speaker 3: I don't know how you would do that. I think
- 25:49Speaker 3: you would have to do that in private, but I would.
- 25:51Speaker 3: I'm on board with that. Yeah.
- 25:53Speaker 1: The thing is, though, I don't think I own anything
- 25:56Speaker 1: that I hate that I would get joy out of
- 25:59Speaker 1: pooping on. I mean, sure, there's there's plenty of people
- 26:02Speaker 1: like that, but.
- 26:03Speaker 3: You would not. You would poop on people.
- 26:06Speaker 6: Hang on, now we're moving back to Diddy's house.
- 26:10Speaker 1: Not in a sexual way, but more in a demeaning way.
- 26:14Speaker 6: So we're going back Tod's house. Trey loves it. Every
- 26:21Speaker 6: time you say it.
- 26:24Speaker 1: You know what I hate that was when I see
- 26:25Speaker 1: something on social media, I'm like, oh, this this needs
- 26:27Speaker 1: you know what this needs?
- 26:28Speaker 3: This?
- 26:28Speaker 1: This is here's a good opening for a diddy joke,
- 26:30Speaker 1: and I look, everyone else has the same thought. Thirty
- 26:32Speaker 1: comments don't try duty. Damn it, someone got there before
- 26:35Speaker 1: I did.
- 26:37Speaker 6: Again, A Diddy joke is right.
- 26:39Speaker 1: There, Diddy dooty.
- 26:44Speaker 6: If he was p duty, that would make more sense.
- 26:47Speaker 1: I think that'll be his prison name. And he's gonna
- 26:53Speaker 1: regret buying and using all that lube because.
- 26:57Speaker 2: I think his prison name might have puffy back in it.
- 27:06Speaker 1: As a Sir, Trey has won.
- 27:09Speaker 10: The day you're listening to the Treehouse, visit us online
- 27:18Speaker 10: at Treehouse on air dot com.

- 27:43Speaker 1: you're doing remodeling work underneath the roof inside the home
- 27:47Speaker 1: as well. And you were telling me just uh, just
- 27:51Speaker 1: recently that you, Daniel and Cook DFW Roofing and Restoration
- 27:56Speaker 1: offer lifetime warranties on all your work.
- 27:58Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 27:59Speaker 11: Dan, that's something that we talked about for a while now.
- 28:02Speaker 11: And we decided to go ahead and just pull the
- 28:03Speaker 11: trigger on it. We've had excellent reviews, we've had excellent referrals.
- 28:07Speaker 11: People really love our work when they give us a chance,
- 28:10Speaker 11: and we just want to put our money where our
- 28:12Speaker 11: mouth is. And you know, that's the best way I
- 28:15Speaker 11: can always say that is just back it up.
- 28:17Speaker 6: Back it up.
- 28:18Speaker 11: When I was growing up and I told somebody who's
- 28:20Speaker 11: gonna kick their ass, you got to back it up. Well,
- 28:23Speaker 11: now that I'm a grown man and we're doing professional
- 28:25Speaker 11: services on people's homes and I tell them that they're
- 28:27Speaker 11: never going to have a better experience, I'm backing it up.

- 28:42Speaker 1: You can experience it for yourself, and you can put
- 28:44Speaker 1: your money where Daniel's mouth is, and he'll honor it.
- 28:48Speaker 1: As you just heard, even if he dies, he's still
- 28:51Speaker 1: going to honor this stuff. I mean, that's that's some
- 28:54Speaker 1: serious integrity and quality craftsmanship. To have the confidence to
- 28:58Speaker 1: be like, yeah, this is how we do things. So
- 29:00Speaker 1: you give the man a call for that free roof inspection.
- 29:02Speaker 1: A three three cook DFW the website cookdfw dot com.
- 29:14Speaker 7: You're in the treehouse, visit us online at Treehouseonair dot com.
- 29:22Speaker 1: Once again, be sure to check out all things treehouse
- 29:24Speaker 1: at Treehouse on air dot com. That's Treehouse on Air
- 29:27Speaker 1: dot com. Social media is at Treehouse on Air. And

- 29:39Speaker 1: a button click on. We'll take you to a paypallink.
- 29:41Speaker 1: You can pay that way. We appreciate it. H Once again,
- 29:44Speaker 1: it is Treehouse on Air dot com. Raj, I know
- 29:51Speaker 1: that you're still in almost said recovery mode. But it's
- 29:54Speaker 1: not because you drink too much last night, or maybe
- 29:56Speaker 1: you did, but you're still in griev mode because your
- 30:01Speaker 1: girlfriend's mom passed away a couple of weeks ago, and
- 30:07Speaker 1: for all intents and purposes, she was your your mother
- 30:10Speaker 1: in law, yes she was, And I know you're sad
- 30:13Speaker 1: about that. You're sad about the loss of the family.
- 30:15Speaker 1: But it seems like there's something else you're really really
- 30:17Speaker 1: sad about that I'm surprised by, and that is your
- 30:20Speaker 1: lack of castle roles and ascondering why is it you're
- 30:24Speaker 1: so disappointed in the lack of sloppy castle roles at
- 30:27Speaker 1: your house.
- 30:28Speaker 3: Okay, so when like like when my mother and father
- 30:32Speaker 3: passed away, like we we provide like as Indian people,
- 30:36Speaker 3: like we have a lunch and we invite people over
- 30:40Speaker 3: and that's a couple of days of where we pay
- 30:43Speaker 3: for the lunches. I've heard that when white people pass
- 30:49Speaker 3: away that people bring cast roles, and it's true, I
- 30:55Speaker 3: have yet to nobody has brought one. We've got some.
- 30:58Speaker 3: I think we talked about this the other day. We
- 31:01Speaker 3: got some pinwheel turkey pinwheel things from Costco.
- 31:06Speaker 1: You got food items, but not traditional Southern casserole dishes
- 31:11Speaker 1: that are supposed to be stereotypically delivered to you, you know,
- 31:16Speaker 1: after somebody dies, so they just shove they shove them
- 31:19Speaker 1: in your fridge and you got food for months.
- 31:21Speaker 3: Yes, we have not gotten any of the No cast
- 31:26Speaker 3: roles have been delivered or Okay, nobody's shown up with one.
- 31:30Speaker 1: So Jerry you say that's still a thing. When was
- 31:32Speaker 1: the last castrole you saw after a death?
- 31:36Speaker 4: Oh, personally experienced twenty nineteen when my mother died.
- 31:43Speaker 1: Okay, so that's so that's five years, Trey, What is it?
- 31:45Speaker 2: I think this might be one of those things that
- 31:48Speaker 2: was a casualty of COVID.
- 31:50Speaker 1: I'm wondering, and this is where I'm going with this.
- 31:53Speaker 1: I'm wondering if the castle role has gone extinct, not
- 32:00Speaker 1: just as a dish, but as a thing to do
- 32:03Speaker 1: after someone dies. I don't know, because I've not seen
- 32:06Speaker 1: one in a long, long time, longer than five years.
- 32:11Speaker 1: So I'm kind of wondering has the castrole gone extinct?
- 32:13Speaker 3: I mean, don't they put the like of the onion
- 32:15Speaker 3: thing on top, like the.
- 32:17Speaker 1: There's all right, there is green bean casserole? That may
- 32:20Speaker 1: be maybe Thanksgiving food is the only time cast roles
- 32:23Speaker 1: make an appearance.
- 32:24Speaker 2: Now, I'll make a mean breakfast castrole.
- 32:26Speaker 3: I mean, what is it? What is a what is
- 32:28Speaker 3: a breakfast castrole?
- 32:30Speaker 1: Well, it depends on the family. No, you laugh, but
- 32:35Speaker 1: I'm serious.
- 32:37Speaker 6: Ours ours is chicken curry. Uh.
- 32:40Speaker 1: I am genuinely curious to know what's in a Trey's
- 32:43Speaker 1: family breakfast castle.
- 32:45Speaker 2: Basically, it's like you you line up pan with bread
- 32:48Speaker 2: and then eggs all over it and like crumpled sausage
- 32:51Speaker 2: and cheese and then you bake it and it all
- 32:53Speaker 2: cooks and it's.
- 32:57Speaker 3: I'll take one of those.
- 33:01Speaker 6: We're taking orders right now.
- 33:04Speaker 2: I just I'm gonna guess that because sharing things became
- 33:10Speaker 2: so wrong during COVID, if people quit doing it.
- 33:20Speaker 3: Yeah, that could sharing, right. I mean, he's not wrong.
- 33:24Speaker 3: I mean I can kind of understand it, like we
- 33:26Speaker 3: don't have to do this anymore, and so it kind
- 33:29Speaker 3: of like freeze people up from.
- 33:31Speaker 4: It was supposed to be a labor of love, you.
- 33:33Speaker 3: Know, yeah, and I've I've gotten no love doesn't give gifts.
- 33:41Speaker 3: Dan doesn't give anything.
- 33:43Speaker 2: And so that was definitely an older thing and that
- 33:46Speaker 2: may be something that's dying off.
- 33:48Speaker 1: So something else we can blame gen Z or jen Alfa,
- 33:52Speaker 1: whatever it is.
- 33:53Speaker 2: I actually think we'd have to gen X take the
- 33:55Speaker 2: blame on this one.
- 33:56Speaker 1: You think it's us.
- 33:57Speaker 2: Well, we're technically the next generation up. So if we're
- 34:00Speaker 2: not carrying on that tradition, then you know.
- 34:03Speaker 1: What, that maybe that's something that is a good thing.
- 34:07Speaker 1: Because here's the thing, because as gen X, we grew
- 34:09Speaker 1: up eating castroles, not because everyone was dying around us,
- 34:12Speaker 1: but because that's what we could afford to eat. It
- 34:14Speaker 1: was basically, take everything out of the pantry in the fridge,
- 34:17Speaker 1: throw it all in one pan, throw some sort of
- 34:18Speaker 1: liquid on it, and throw it in the oven for
- 34:20Speaker 1: half the day, and then you eat that. And then
- 34:22Speaker 1: it's special cast role.
- 34:23Speaker 2: Also stuff that your parents could make and then they
- 34:25Speaker 2: could put in the fridge and you could reheat and
- 34:27Speaker 2: it would last for days, so they didn't have to
- 34:28Speaker 2: cook for us.
- 34:29Speaker 1: M hmm. Especially it worked well for us, all of
- 34:32Speaker 1: us as gen X kids, because we were all lat
- 34:34Speaker 1: key kids, because we were left to fend for ourselves,
- 34:36Speaker 1: and they didn't want us burn it down the house,
- 34:37Speaker 1: so they'd throw the casserole. And yeah, case, maybe that's
- 34:39Speaker 1: what it is.
- 34:40Speaker 3: And that's why I think Loubies is still amazing because
- 34:45Speaker 3: they have some sort of castrole available at all times.
- 34:51Speaker 3: So this is why I don't understand why it's not
- 34:54Speaker 3: being like what hasn't somebody gone to a Looby's and
- 34:56Speaker 3: then brought us over a castle. You can pretend to
- 35:00Speaker 3: make it. I don't mind, no, right.
- 35:01Speaker 4: They brought you turkey pinwheels man, somebody hates you.
- 35:05Speaker 3: From Costco and it was still in the Costco container, Like.
- 35:08Speaker 2: And yeah, you can go to Costco or SAMs or
- 35:11Speaker 2: whatever and buy cast roles. It's okay.
- 35:14Speaker 3: I didn't know we could do that. I will, I
- 35:16Speaker 3: will bring maybe cast roll now maybe.
- 35:19Speaker 2: Because they're really big pans and she was a little person.
- 35:24Speaker 6: She still ate regular food.
- 35:30Speaker 1: Also, since she's dead, I don't think it matters if
- 35:32Speaker 1: she can hold the pan or not. This is farage
- 35:35Speaker 1: who was over six feet tall. Yes, is correct, just
- 35:40Speaker 1: because she could have fit into one of those pans.
- 35:46Speaker 3: That's where she slept most nights.
- 35:48Speaker 1: Uh, that's where the cast roles went.
- 35:55Speaker 6: She needed room to sleep.
- 35:57Speaker 1: She had to push, she had to push the hostage
- 36:00Speaker 1: off to the side a little bit. If it's actually brilliant.
- 36:05Speaker 1: Because also if you wake up in the middle of
- 36:07Speaker 1: the night and she's a little hungry, just a little
- 36:10Speaker 1: nibble right there on the good corner pieces go right
- 36:15Speaker 1: back to sleep, which is what you want to do
- 36:17Speaker 1: after eating a good castle.
- 36:22Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean Grant and Trace. She was three foot five.
- 36:26Speaker 3: She still ate like a big girl.
- 36:28Speaker 1: Yeah, well, look like your mother in law. She she
- 36:32Speaker 1: passed away, and God rest her soul. Sure she was
- 36:35Speaker 1: a little person at three foot five, but a three
- 36:39Speaker 1: foot five inch casserole dishes pretty god big.
- 36:45Speaker 3: I wouldn't know. I haven't gotten one, So if somebody
- 36:49Speaker 3: could send one, that would be fantastic.
- 36:53Speaker 1: I think we all need to get together and we
- 36:54Speaker 1: need to send you rage at the three foot five
- 36:56Speaker 1: inch cast role.
- 37:00Speaker 3: We can, we can, we can call the castro, we
- 37:02Speaker 3: can call Melinda's casserole if we want there you go, yeah.
- 37:08Speaker 1: I feel like, yeah, that's I think there's gonna be
- 37:10Speaker 1: some confusion in that ditch.
- 37:16Speaker 9: You're listening to the Treehouse. Visit us online that Treehouse
- 37:20Speaker 9: on air dot com.
- 37:28Speaker 1: Let's get Jaqueline from Brooks Plumbing into the Treehouse now.
- 37:30Speaker 1: For any and all of your plumbing ONTs and needs,
- 37:32Speaker 1: give her and all of them there a call to
- 37:35Speaker 1: one fourth three six eight thirty eight thirty eight the
- 37:37Speaker 1: website Brooks Plumbing Texas dot com. When I had my
- 37:40Speaker 1: house in Dallas, Jacqueline, you came out a few times
- 37:43Speaker 1: to help us with some issues, and your response time
- 37:47Speaker 1: was phenomenal. And it wasn't just because it was me.
- 37:49Speaker 1: It was because that's the kind of company you run,
- 37:52Speaker 1: you go out of your way trying to help every
- 37:54Speaker 1: client and try to get there as soon as you can.
- 37:56Speaker 12: Well, I mean the reality of it is is that
- 37:59Speaker 12: plumbing is unfortunately a need and not so much a want. Yes,
- 38:03Speaker 12: you can want to remodel the bathroom and that's not pressing,
- 38:06Speaker 12: but typically when it comes to service or leak investigations,
- 38:10Speaker 12: et cetera, et cetera. If you've got to stoppage on
- 38:13Speaker 12: the mainline and you don't know and you keep putting
- 38:17Speaker 12: liquid or you know, waste into the drains, if it
- 38:22Speaker 12: has nowhere to go, it will come back in the
- 38:24Speaker 12: house and at that point in time, it's no longer
- 38:27Speaker 12: a want, it's a need, and that sort of thing
- 38:30Speaker 12: can't wait. When you have those emergencies, you have got
- 38:34Speaker 12: to figure out how to manage the crew so that
- 38:36Speaker 12: you can have the best response time.
- 38:38Speaker 1: That's right, and they'll show up and they'll do it quickly.

- 39:29Speaker 1: say if it pops up, I'll follow us on the socials.
- 39:31Speaker 1: Appreciate uh raj. Okay, now that we're done trading casserole
- 39:39Speaker 1: recipes from that commercial break, what is it that you're
- 39:44Speaker 1: still wanting?
- 39:46Speaker 2: Uh?
- 39:46Speaker 3: No, I I mean we we got We did get
- 39:49Speaker 3: a two dollars gift card for you would think food,
- 39:56Speaker 3: but it was to Cohle's And I don't know what
- 39:58Speaker 3: that was for.
- 39:59Speaker 1: But sentence, So your mother in law passes away instead
- 40:05Speaker 1: of sending food, which is tradition. Yes, someone sent you
- 40:09Speaker 1: a two hundred dollars gift card to coals.
- 40:14Speaker 3: Correct, and don't I don't believe they have food, So
- 40:19Speaker 3: I don't know what we're supposed to get.
- 40:22Speaker 4: Oh, his mother in law died. He needs some new pants.
- 40:27Speaker 6: He could use slacks.
- 40:30Speaker 1: Maybe that's what they thought, is you could go to
- 40:31Speaker 1: Coals and buy yourself something nice to wear to the funeral,
- 40:33Speaker 1: which you didn't have, which.
- 40:35Speaker 3: And yeah, she was cremated, so we don't have a
- 40:40Speaker 3: funeral to go to. But we do have a picnic
- 40:42Speaker 3: coming up, and so you would think food would be
- 40:46Speaker 3: the right thing to Yeah.
- 40:47Speaker 1: But having been to Coals recently, I can tell you
- 40:49Speaker 1: most of their fall stuff is in, so it's going
- 40:51Speaker 1: to be hard to find picnic attire.
- 40:55Speaker 3: I'm Indian. We don't picnic. I don't know what picnic
- 40:57Speaker 3: attire is. We don't have picnic food like you guys
- 41:01Speaker 3: have picnic food like you have chicken and potato salad
- 41:05Speaker 3: and stuff like that. We have everything is from ours
- 41:09Speaker 3: is spicy and hot, and you don't want to eat
- 41:11Speaker 3: that outdoors.
- 41:13Speaker 1: It's also covered in sauce.
- 41:17Speaker 3: And uh yeah, I don't think you want to sit
- 41:20Speaker 3: down on a beautiful sunny day by the lake and
- 41:24Speaker 3: eat chicken curry and rice. I don't think that's something.
- 41:29Speaker 1: And dory chicken would be good picnic food. I loved
- 41:31Speaker 1: indory chicken.
- 41:32Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, if it's cold, you don't have to.
- 41:37Speaker 1: It's look, guys, not only do we need to get
- 41:39Speaker 1: Roger casseroll, but we need to take them on a picnic. Also,
- 41:42Speaker 1: the the estrogen in this show was really just shot
- 41:46Speaker 1: through the roof.
- 41:47Speaker 3: And also, if all four of us want on a picnic,
- 41:50Speaker 3: we're gonna have to have some explaining to do.
- 41:54Speaker 1: I don't think we'll have to explain anything. I think
- 41:56Speaker 1: it's gonna be real obvious.
- 41:59Speaker 2: Is this a picnic like a like type of memorial?
- 42:05Speaker 3: Yes, it's at the Arboretum.
- 42:06Speaker 4: Okay, oh beautiful. Yeah.
- 42:09Speaker 1: Once again, if all of us show up to the
- 42:11Speaker 1: Arboretum for a picnic, there will be nothing to explain.
- 42:14Speaker 1: Everyone's going to know.
- 42:16Speaker 2: Do you decorate the urn?
- 42:19Speaker 3: Uh?
- 42:20Speaker 2: Nikki just bought the urn sottle a little pumpkin you know, outfit.
- 42:25Speaker 1: Like oh for the season.
- 42:29Speaker 2: Yeah all right, so you know, a red and white
- 42:31Speaker 2: checker like tablecloth type thing. You know.
- 42:33Speaker 1: I thought it would be I thought it would be
- 42:34Speaker 1: important taste to ask this question. But since Trey has
- 42:36Speaker 1: already ripped this lit off, let me also follow up
- 42:39Speaker 1: with for a little person, do you get a little urn?
- 42:43Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 42:45Speaker 6: It is, It's a genuine question.
- 42:47Speaker 1: I don't know I don't know, Like I don't like
- 42:49Speaker 1: a normal urn. I don't know how full those get
- 42:52Speaker 1: with a qu normal body.
- 42:54Speaker 3: They they get the normal size. Because both my parents
- 42:58Speaker 3: were passed away and they were cremated their full size burns,
- 43:02Speaker 3: we did have to look for one that was a
- 43:04Speaker 3: little bit small, smaller. Look.
- 43:07Speaker 1: The reason I asked the question is because I haven't
- 43:08Speaker 1: had to do this as far as you know, I've
- 43:10Speaker 1: never had to fill and earn. And I don't know
- 43:13Speaker 1: if it's like a chip bag where it's like half.
- 43:18Speaker 6: It's mostly air at the time.
- 43:20Speaker 4: Yeah, no, no, the bag, the bag is full.
- 43:25Speaker 2: I have a fantastic costume idea for you.
- 43:28Speaker 6: Oh no, God, here we go. Tell me what that
- 43:40Speaker 6: looks like.
- 43:42Speaker 2: Wells dog Pool.
- 43:50Speaker 6: I hope Nikki does not listen to this episode.
- 43:56Speaker 1: I think there's a way we can block her phone
- 43:59Speaker 1: from evers knowing this episode exists, so that way you.
- 44:06Speaker 6: Earn Pool is a movie Dan would watch.
- 44:09Speaker 4: On an airplane.
- 44:13Speaker 2: No, it's Marvel. He'd go to the theater.
- 44:15Speaker 4: That's right, Yeah, well, that's right, that's right. That's right.
- 44:18Speaker 1: Opening Day, Baby, Opening Day.
- 44:21Speaker 6: An full of popcorn.
- 44:39Speaker 9: You're listening to the tree House. Visit us online that
- 44:42Speaker 9: Treehouse on Air dot com.
- 44:44Speaker 1: I think that would be a good title for this episode,
- 44:47Speaker 1: an popcorn.
- 45:03Speaker 7: You're in the treehouse, visit us online at Treehouse on
- 45:08Speaker 7: Air dot com.
- 45:16Speaker 1: What's old is New again? Last week you brought back
- 45:19Speaker 1: the original show opener in its original form. We also
- 45:25Speaker 1: brought back the ac DC closing music, and since it's
- 45:32Speaker 1: Friday in the Treehouse.
- 45:35Speaker 13: The lover Boy.
- 45:48Speaker 1: What this means is we're basically taking the sUAS approach
- 45:54Speaker 1: to digital radio because look across all the podcasting platforms,
- 46:01Speaker 1: we were always worried that if we played certain songs
- 46:03Speaker 1: and things you get flagged for copyright, then you get
- 46:05Speaker 1: sued by all these people that like lover Boy, which
- 46:08Speaker 1: I don't think Loverboy would sueus because the last I checked,
- 46:10Speaker 1: they liked us. But like ac DCOR or like our show,
- 46:14Speaker 1: Open Is Fire and Mercy by William Morban, the only
- 46:19Speaker 1: platform that flags anything is YouTube. And I'm honestly everything
- 46:27Speaker 1: we're using YouTube's okay with you using it because they
- 46:30Speaker 1: have licensing stuff. So I'm done being worried about if
- 46:34Speaker 1: we get sued for doing what we want to do.
- 46:37Speaker 1: And what I know that the people that still listen
- 46:40Speaker 1: to this show want because I want it, Jerry wants it,
- 46:44Speaker 1: raj you want it, Trey and you want it, so
- 46:46Speaker 1: let's just all have it.
- 46:49Speaker 2: I just wouldn't use it. I still wouldn't use anything Metallica. No, no, no, no, no,
- 46:55Speaker 2: let's let's let's not go.
- 46:58Speaker 4: Crazy on that one.
- 46:58Speaker 2: Yeah no.
- 47:00Speaker 1: But at the end of the day, most of it's
- 47:01Speaker 1: just sort of a fair use type of thing. We're
- 47:03Speaker 1: not profiting off of the performance of the song. We're
- 47:08Speaker 1: just using it as a bed. So I'll roll that
- 47:12Speaker 1: dice and we'll see what happens. And honestly, I'm not
- 47:14Speaker 1: worried about it. It makes us all happy, So I say,
- 47:17Speaker 1: you know what, let's just you know, roll with it
- 47:20Speaker 1: and just be gonna happy. Work for you, guys, work absolutely.
- 47:26Speaker 1: One last little thing to mention to you, since we
- 47:29Speaker 1: just brought up your idea for me for a Halloween costume,
- 47:33Speaker 1: I've got one for probably Jerry, because Trey, your Halloween
- 47:39Speaker 1: costume needs to be as Deadpool, and Daisy, your three
- 47:43Speaker 1: pound schuab with her big long tongue needs to be
- 47:46Speaker 1: dog Pool. That's already a given. You are now saying
- 47:49Speaker 1: I need to be earn Pool.
- 47:52Speaker 2: No, I was saying. When they have the picnic, you know,
- 47:57Speaker 2: they take the Earn and dress it up like Deadpool
- 47:58Speaker 2: and Earn.
- 47:59Speaker 1: Okay, that makes me ROGERI be Earnpool.
- 48:03Speaker 3: Me.
- 48:04Speaker 1: That leaves me because Jerry is already his own walking costume.
- 48:08Speaker 1: Every day. Every day is Halloween for Jerry. So I
- 48:12Speaker 1: have what may end up being my Halloween costume by default, okay,
- 48:19Speaker 1: and that is the Sexy Ozimpic shot. What Yeah, So
- 48:26Speaker 1: there's a website called yandy dot com. They're selling a
- 48:29Speaker 1: costume called so Snatched for thirty nine ninety five. So
- 48:36Speaker 1: they can't call it Ozimpic because then they would get sued,
- 48:40Speaker 1: so they have to give it a different name. And
- 48:44Speaker 1: that is the so Snatched costume. It costs only thirty
- 48:49Speaker 1: nine ninety nine, which by Halloween costume standards is pretty good.
- 48:53Speaker 1: Let me show you a quick photo of it. So
- 48:56Speaker 1: there you've got the the So Snatched costume thirty nine
- 49:02Speaker 1: ninety five, also known colloquially as the Sexy Ozmpic Costume,
- 49:06Speaker 1: which is made to look like an Olympic shop. Everyone
- 49:09Speaker 1: is doing it. According to the description, jump on that
- 49:12Speaker 1: Semiglue tide bandwagon in this two piece set with a
- 49:15Speaker 1: tank style dress and pillbox hat printed to resemble a
- 49:18Speaker 1: well known weight loss drug injector. The costume is geared
- 49:22Speaker 1: toward women, and there are three sizes available, which is
- 49:27Speaker 1: ironic considering how if you're taking ozempic you really should
- 49:30Speaker 1: be in the smaller size range if it's working. See,
- 49:36Speaker 1: there you go, just a little blue and white. Looks
- 49:39Speaker 1: like a wow, you know, looks like medicine. So there
- 49:44Speaker 1: you have it. In case you're looking for a you know,
- 49:47Speaker 1: sort of the trendy Halloween costume for this year. I
- 49:52Speaker 1: think the sexy Olympic shot would probably be high atop
- 49:57Speaker 1: the list. You'll cred nut skirt, do you think?
- 50:00Speaker 13: So?
- 50:01Speaker 1: You think I got the legs to pull that off?
- 50:05Speaker 3: You?
- 50:06Speaker 2: I don't know what the legs. But with that hat,
- 50:08Speaker 2: you know, right right?
- 50:10Speaker 13: Oh?
- 50:11Speaker 1: The hat. It's the pill box hat that does it
- 50:13Speaker 1: for you.
- 50:14Speaker 2: It looks like a reservoir.
- 50:15Speaker 1: Tip, you're a reservoir. I don't feel like trick or
- 50:32Speaker 1: treating for Halloween this year. I'm just gonna stay at
- 50:34Speaker 1: home and hide.
- 50:37Speaker 3: Oh, don't pull out, don't pull out a Halloween.
- 50:39Speaker 1: Yeah, especially when you got that reservoir exactly.
- 50:46Speaker 2: If there was just one more didty party.
- 50:56Speaker 1: Oh thanks for hanging out with us inside the Treehouse
- 50:59Speaker 1: for all things tree House, Treehouse on air, dot com.
- 51:02Speaker 1: Give us all a follow on social media at the
- 51:04Speaker 1: Daniel Mallley. For Trey, It's at Trade tron home one,
